Self Awareness:

Every single one of us have traits that are toxic, right ? Like me for example, my toxic trait is how I can over indulge into things like weed when I first started smoking. I never knew a feeling of bliss like being high before In my life. I remember smoking by myself, feeling numb for the first time in my life. Just numb. Barely eating, barely talking, barely HERE.

The reason why I make sure to take care of myself now, is because of how i treated myself when I was high. It is possible to be high as fuck and still sad like you never smoked. That numbness became addicting to me because I hated how my life was turning out. I started hating myself. I lost a lot of weight because I would smoke more than I ate. Chronic depression while you’re high is the worst because you can’t even trust yourself because mentally you aren’t that strong. I am so glad that I broke out of that. (Yes, Men go through anorexia too)

I only smoke if I eat first. I gained all that weight back (and then some 😅). I am comfortable with who I am now, and I’m proud of that. When people say “I am a stoner because...” I listen because I want to know your story. It’s hard to relate to everybody in the world but one thing I can say whoever read this I relate to you. If you’re going through something that you don’t know how to deal with, use the strength from this post. Uncle Ben said “with great power comes great responsibility” and that couldn’t be more true for somebody like me who tends to overindulge.

I slip into old habits because old habits die hard, but I will always try to hold me accountable. (If you feel like you don’t know how to control your willingness to overindulge in things, HMU and talk, I’ll always help 🙏🏾❤️)

What is Parental approval?

Parental and familial approval within interracial relationships According to this article http://search.ebscohost.com.lib-proxy.fullerton.edu/login.aspx?direct=true&db=aph&AN=111480556&site=ehost-live&scope=site there are three different types of parental approval that an interracial couple can have. First is Dual-disapproval, which when neither person in the relationship has parents that are supportive of the relationship. Secondly is one-sided approval, which is one only one person in the relationship has parents that is supportive. Then lastly is dual-approval, which we can probably guess, is when both partners in the relationship have their parents support.

What is an interracial couple?

Should one be supportive towards Interracial couples?

OF COURSE!! Whether one is in an interracial relationship or knows a family member or a friend or whatever the case may be, one should be supportive of every person as long as they are happy. The journal article that is shared gave one insight on how interracial couples felt the need to get support from their friends and family members to feel like they are having a successful relationship. that was explained through the framework theory that was used in the study. In this same research study article http://search.ebscohost.com.lib-proxy.fullerton.edu/login.aspx?direct=true&db=aph&AN=111480556&site=ehost-live&scope=site it was actually found that most interracial couples encounter not only familial, but societal assessments as well that create an extra layer of tension and conflict within the relationship. It was extremely disturbing to read that interracial couples were marginalized and open to public condemnation. The article even went to point out that other couples that were also marginalized, treated and looked at the same way were couples that had large age-gaps, gay and lesbian couples. There are so many other things that one can be worried or upset about, we all need to learn to be happy and let other live their lives how they want to. I hope to see a world full of love and supportiveness within the next few generations, but in the meantime we will have to start practicing and preaching these things amongst ourselves and the people we love.

It’s been three years now that I’ve been doing edits for Warframe. I originally started doing edits for World of Warcraft, Halo, and here I am at Warframe. I wanted to thank everyone for supporting me, pushing me, and ultimately just being there with me. I will be hosting contests for Captura later down the road. NEW GIRL

As time passed by, me and others around me age together with the plants and trees, friends come and go, building and houses standing taller and taller. I remember a young me, a new girl in the community we moved in. A young me who was excited to explore outside rather than the new secluded space.

I look again at all the children playing and laughing without a care of what has to come tomorrow.I think to myself, not noticing my parents sitting right by my side, smiling at me, they say “why don’t you play with them and make some friends?” but as much as I wanted to, I was just to shy. As I looked back to the children playing I saw a face with a very bright smile, “You new here right? Come on play with us!” she said as she reached her hand out for me. Looking back at my parents for approval they nod and immediately I take the hand of the girl who reached out.

I stepped out I felt euphoric as cool breeze kissed my skin, trees that rustle like a satisfying sound for my ears. Sitting down on a nearby bench made of wood, in front of me I watch and observe the surroundings. Children playing, women conversing as they do their chore, and men doing “bayanihan” to carry a hen house to the other side of the road. My new community isn’t s bad after all it is just the same as the old one before. But then I saw children politely talk to adults, people helping one another without any cost. But this in return was one community’s unity.

I never knew taking a hand of another would be a new start in for a new life, a way to learn things from them, how you should talk, a way to adapt anothers attitudes or values. From then I learned to be kind and friendly, be obedient to people who are older. My community is a part what molded me to become who I am, and how I interact with others around me. I was just a new girl before but now I am a part of what I call a community where I could meet one’s and influence them like myself before.

The quote want to tell how community help us being an individual and build our personality, and tagumpay housing is my community, tagumpay housing in Rodríguez, rizal is manage by executive minister Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo the recent leader of Iglesia Ni Cristo.

In my community there are many personalities but there's a thing that I can ensure to you and that is we are all brethrens and have a duty in God. When I was a kid I begin to see what basic stuff happen in my community. I am lucky to live in this kind of community because you will feel the peacefulness of all people live in this community, and helping each other like what typhoon ondoy and Yolanda did to us that was so hard to recover if you're alone, but in my community after they did what they need in their family they're all willing to help other's without waiting for the presents. Then they're always with you if you have a problem in anything as long as they can, they will help you, and that's how my community made me as a person, to pass the culture in the new generation in my community.

That is the reason why community is very important to us, as a person. Imagine living in this world without the help of others, can't imagine right? Because we can make ourselves by 70% in community and 30% in school but it's like a simple community also because community is anywhere as long as you feel better in that community you better to live that than in expensive village but no one care about you that is my title all about that "I'll know you just tell me where you live" because without community you have no personality now.

Black Community

This is my first post, shoot this is my first time to bring my concerns and problems to the public. Last night I went live with Tariq a well known advocate that speaks on black issues. One thing he mentioned was the disconnect of communication and relationship building among Africans and African Americans and how Africans look down on African Americans. One thing that was mentioned was the word “Akata” that Africans call African Americans meaning an animal who doesn’t run in pack. And the funny thing is we don’t! We don’t know ourselves we don’t have identity which is why we are so lost and confused. So I sit here trying to figure out what can I do as black women let alone a social worker to reunify the black community. Their a lot of work to be done and this job is not for one person. It will take a group of likeminded people to collaborate and bring the education and awareness to the people! But first it’s starts with your own mental health and awareness!....

The first step and hopes of challenge I want to began is to break the barrier and stigma of mental health and asking you to seek healing for emotional support. Go see a therapist to talk about your own trauma and hurt. Then refer a friend or family to do the same!

Being African American is being African with no memory and American with no privilege! -unknown

I let that sink in....
