TMNT retro-mutagen inaccuracies

In TMNT 2012 does it bother anyone else that when Donnie is trying to turn Mr. O'Neil human again with the retro-mutagen that he says he only has two doses when I know we all damn well saw that Kirby turned perfectly human with one single drop of the stuff? anybody?? cause he had two whole vials as long as his forearm and they both went to waste?? Think of the time they could've saved if Donnie had realized!! all the mutants they didn't have to deal with!! I mean come on!! Like i realize that because science he probably didn't know how much exactly he needed, but if it was so potent that it only took a drop to turn a giant man-bat into Kirby O'Neil again then I think he should've at least realized the dose didn't need to be so high!! idk just my thoughts on the matter...*whistles and walks away to go rewatch the series for the 714th time*

I got a question about how mutagen works. Say somehow, a mutant had a kid with a human, and that kid was a mutant, could the kid safely be mutated a second time?

alr well first off there are two kinds if mutagen in my au:

Krang Mutagen:

very unstable

will alter the mind of the subject mutated negatively

it’s goo extracted from krang/krang’s bodily fluids

will start the mutation process as soon as subject comes into contact with the mutagen

mutation process take less than one hour and is very painful

the subject might get powers varying on the subject themself (if they are manipulative=charm speak, sneaky=invisibility, ect.)

is always a lime green

Barry’s Mutagen:

way more stable

does not alter the mind of the subject it mutates

relies heavily on mystic chemistry

is a method of slowly introducing the mystic chemicals into the body (via putting it into the blood stream) for long periods before the mutation process actually happens (kinda like chemotherapy)

mutation process may take long hours or a few days depending on the subject getting mutated

subject may get powers/mystic abilities if under copious amounts of stress/negativity emotions and the ability will often correspond with the intent of the subject in the moment

can be different colors

for barry’s mutagen, i guess??? but even so it would just heighten their abilities (if they have any) or bring out their hybrid parts more

for the krang mutagen also i guess??? but it would turn them into a feral being of pure chaos much like a rabid dog

One of my guilty plesures to watch while drawing are slime videos (mind you I never even touched one I'm not really interested in slime I just like how it looks). I recently watched a good number of those. It made me want to paint a slime
