She loves to play chess with her father, and other, more modern board games with her friends. Her favorites are Candy Land, Battleship, and Monopoly.
She rarely uses her light magic, and only to protect people. Emma trains with her regularly

Preliminary Gayeties: Preparatory Materials for Interested Parties
Greetings, all! As you may be aware, @barricadescon (x) is happening this weekend. Myself (x), @shitpostingfromthebarricade (x), and @grantairelibere (x) will be hosting one of the social night panels, and we are BEYOND excited! Below, I’ve got a bit more information for you:
As you may know, Preliminary Gayeties is one of the chapters of the Brick, in which Grantaire, Joly, and Bossuet get a bit trashed while they wait for Lamarque’s funeral to reach the riot stage. The three of us have a fairly longstanding personal tradition of reading this chapter aloud and playing a drinking game whenever we’re together, and it is to this custom that we would like to invite all of you. Now, in order to fully participate, you may need some supplies! All versions of these supplies are equally valid, and certainly it can be played with simple water and any snackie of your choice. However, we find it is MOST amusing when you have a specific bev or snack to stand in for each one specified. To that end, we provide a guide below so that as many people as possible may be prepared to participate fully in our game!
First of all, we need some bevs:
The primary drink is (usually red) wine. For substitutions, we suggest: any wine you personally prefer, a wine cooler, grape juice, grape flavored gatorade/sports drink, any kind of purple drink mix, some water with red/purple food coloring in it, Just Straight Up Water, whatever speaks to you!
In much smaller quantities, the activity also calls for beer (specifically stout), brandy, and absinthe.
For beer, we suggest: any beer of your choice, a nonalcoholic beer, some lemonade, Just Some Bread, ginger beer, ginger ale, any kind of cola, etc.
For brandy, we suggest: brandy, whiskey, any dark liquor, Just A Shot of Maple Syrup, tea, a shot of coke or pepsi, etc.
For absinthe, we will do The Ritual, in which you put a small amount of absinthe in a cup, put a sugar cube in a strainer above it, and slowly pour water over the cube until it has dissolved. For substitutions, we suggest: any violently green energy drink, mountain dew, sugar water with green food coloring, Just Eat Some Licorice, ouzo, a straight shot of lime juice, or anything else unhinged that your little heart desires!
For snacks, we suggest you have some bread, along with…
Oysters. For substitutions, consider: smoked salmon/lox, any shellfish or seafood of your choice, some nice oyster mushrooms, oyster crackers, gummies shaped like shells idk do they sell those, frankly Swedish Fish, etc.
Brie. For substitutions, consider: any kind of cheese or faux-cheese, any kind of Bread Spread you prefer, butter, flavored butter, jam, marmalade, etc
Ham. For substitutions, consider: bacon, turkey bacon, turkey, any kind of cold cut you prefer, thinly sliced vegetables, veggie burger, etc

Fanta Zero Sugar #whatthefanta Mystery Flavored Soda Fall 2023
What a mouthful. I didn't even see if there was an official name, so this is the best I can do.
This appears to be a zero-sugar-only flavor, there were no other mystery Fanta bottles at the convenience store where I purchased this about a week ago (Holiday Stationstores, iykyk).
There was another mystery Fanta last winter that was a pale blue color, IIRC it was cotton candy-like, my gf got me one to try. That one is no longer available and I didn't love it at the time.
Regardless, this is not the same as that. This is truly an enigma. I drink it and I am puzzled. I even bought multiple bottles and am still trying to work out the flavor. At times it tastes like every Skittle at once. Other times, Jolly Rancher. Again still, SweetTarts candy. Sometimes it tastes a little sour, other times I can't detect a sourness. I want to call it grape because of the color, but it's not simply grape. My gf drank one alongside me, she called out a number of other fruit flavors including pear.
Hand to god, I would say this is a mixed fruit candy flavor of some kind, similar concept to one of the Mountain Dew VooDews of the past.
Do I like it? Hell yes. It tastes great and the carbonation is pretty light. The sourness, when I can detect it, is refreshing. My only gripe is that it's heavily dyed and turns my lips and tongue a sickly greenish purple. It's caffeine free, so I can enjoy it any time of day, too.
10/10. I love that another brand has started to make fun new limited time flavors. Why let Pepsi-Co have all the fun?

I'm Filipino. My mom is Filipino and hispanic and I was born in the Philippines. Although my dad is German, Scottish, Irish, and American so that makes me Filipino, Hispanic, German, Irish, Scottish, and American ig? Wow.
I'm learning to speak Tagalog, I knew it when I was younger, but when I moved to America I spoke English more so I forgot it again. I only know some tagalog words. I am not fluent at it at all 😅
I play the bass guitar, and I wanna learn to play the electric bc I honestly think it's just cooler than the bass, but idk I'll see if the future.
My favorite foods and drinks are pizza, lasagna, pasta, chicken Alfredo, pansit, pansit Canton, pig, steak, pork, fried chicken, chicken nuggets, chocolate chip cookies, jello, PB&J, sugar cookies, these green cookies that my aunt and uncle made were delicious. rice, fried rice, rice pudding, rice cake, maja blanca, buko salad, halo-halo, strawberry shortcake. I really only like ice cream cake. Just normal cake itself isn't that good to me. mochi, ice cream mochi, ice cream. my fav flavors of ice cream are strawberry, chocolate, mint, coffee, orea, mango, orange sherbet, raspberry, the black raspberry flavor. My fav fruits are mangos, apples, oranges, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, cantelope, papaya, boysenberry. Kool-aid, milk, chocolate milk (ESP THE ONES FROM THE PHILINES AND VIETNAM) yakult, dr pepper, cherry coke, normal coke, mountain dew, sprite, pepsi, fanta, iced water, iced tea, coffee.

What's a TV show you've gotten into recently?
I’ve started/finished/caught up on several shows since being in the hospital the past 2 months, but the most recent one I started finally is Stranger Things. I’ve been meaning to watch it for awhile. I’m almost done with season 1. I’m a binge watcher and can get through seasons quickly, but since my brother and I are watching this together and we usually only have time for like 2-3 episodes (plus he’s not here everyday), it’s going to take longer. I’m really into it so far and I just want to catch up already. My blog is flooded with stuff from the latest season and I want to join in.
Do you have a hard time remembering your dreams?
Yes. It’s weird, like I know it was something weird and random, but I can’t really tell you much else. And if I do remember, it’s for a brief time. Very rarely can I actually recall what happened and remember it later on. I’ve had ones that really effected me.

I have been on them before, but not currently.
Have you ever seen the movie Jennifer's body?
I think I’ve seen parts of it.

I tried the Sunkist Berry Lemonade and it was pretty good.
I forgot this is lemonade and it doesn't have a fizz. This had a light blueberry berry taste and lightly lemon sour but not overly sour to me. This was sweet but not overly sweet to me and smooth tasting. This didn't taste like artificial berry lemon to me.
I would drink this again.
I mixed this with mountain dew code red zero sugar soda and it was pretty good.
This drink tasted like a mixed berry lemonade. The cherry flavor went well with the berry kind of blueberry tasting lemonade.
This was sweet but not overly sweet to me. And the color looks unique kind of purple looking.
I would drink this again.
I tried this with mountain dew zero sugar soda and it was pretty good.
This tasted like a lightly sweet version of mountain dew spark zero sugar but replace the raspberry lemonade with blueberry lemonade taste. I also like this light blue green color this drink gives off.
I would drink this again.
I tried this with fanta zero sugar soda and it was pretty good.
This tasted like a mixed fruit soda flavor to me. I like it and it was sweet but not overly sweet to me. The color of the soda was a dark green.

I tried this with the coca-cola zero sugar zero caffeine and it was pretty good.
This tasted like a light lemon berry cola which tasted good and unique tasting. This was sweet but not overly sweet to me. The drink color was gray.

I tried this mixed with the coca-cola move zero sugar and it was pretty good.
It tasted like a vanilla coconutty tasted with a little bit of the berry but the coke move overpowered the berry lemonade I couldn't even taste the lemonade.

I don’t think anything has ever struck me as a prettier colord than NuGrape foam backk then. I was a child, with little experience of the world. But in college English, when I came upon “the blushful Hippocrene, /With beaded bubbles winking at the brim, / And purple-stained mouth,” it brought back NuGrape.

Potions Overview
Sugar/Swiftness - While I think that potions of swiftness also contain high amounts of sugar, it seems likely that caffeine - or some other stimulant substance would be the resultant chemical produced by netherwart. However the potion produced remains the same color as water, blue. Due to this I think that swiftness potions probably taste like blue Powerade, since it has a very similar mouthfeel to water.
Slowness - Tastes like root beer, but in an objectively bad way. Probably contains alcohol and sedatives. Drinking this is bad but it won't kill you.
Rabbit's Foot/Leaping - Probably something that increases muscle performance and elasticity. I'm guessing a mix between whey protein and creatine. On a meta level though, the drink is green and it improves jumping… and you know who else loves jumping around a lot? gamers. and the "notorious green gamer drink" is mtn dew, therefore Leaping potions probably taste a bit like a subtly creamy milk-punch version of mountain dew.
Glistering Melon/Healing - Hmm. most likely extra vitamins and minerals. Although it would be easy to say the flavor is watermelon it's watermelon that has been magically combined with gold… I want to say it would taste like raspberry-watermelon with maybe a bit of a hint of jackfruit. the consistency is likely that somewhere between cough syrup and juice.
Harming - Methyl alcohol and Acid. Strangely, smells like grape juice, tastes like spoiled wine and pain. Don't drink.
Spider Eye/Poison - Cyanide, like nuts/almond. Probably a bit of a seafoodish vibe going on too since it comes from giant spider eyes. like that one sushi that can kill you if not prepared right. However it also probably has an overall denser consistency, so it would be a bit like milkshake. Don't drink.
Ghast Tear/Regeneration - Regeneration is about FAST healing and it's likely the body activating itself to heal itself as fast as possible rather than providing an external nutrient. So I'd have to guess this potion contains adrenaline and general-purpose pheromones. (this also kinda comes across in a gender-y way because it's purple?) Because of this, this potion would be perfumey in nature and likely slightly alcoholic like Kombucha tea. The flavor/aroma would probably be like that of blueberries and cherries, with hints of salt, honey, and cashews.
Magma Cream/Fire Resistance - Overall, due to the slime used to make this potion, it would have a definite stickiness to it. Due to crafting lore we can likely assume that slime acts biologically upon blaze powder somehow, probably oxidizing it and drawing out metallic content so magma slimes have hard but flexible metal shells. Obviously there is some sort of phosphorus in this potion, but there is also a very metallic tang to it as well as a mushroom-ish sweetness from biologically altered slime. I would say that this potion most likely tastes like energy drink mixed with Lemonade and charcoal, but overall an unpleasant taste. This isn't the kind of potion you drink unless you have a good reason.
Pufferfish/Water Breathing - This obviously contains some sort of weird exotic gas-exchange/capture molecules or oxygenated liquid. Tastes like pufferfish/seafood but in a objectively pleasant way, so even if you dislike the taste of fish you'd still like drinking this. This potion is extremely bubbly but has no other textural qualities other than being like water.
Golden Carrot/Night Vision - Vitamin A but also likely exotic light amplification/psychoactive substances. Due to the slightly hallucinogenic nature of the chemical composition of night vision potion, it has a scent similar to disinfectant alcohol or wet nail polish, but taste-wise, it is sweet but earthy carrot/orange taste, perhaps similar to Hi-C. Despite being fully liquid, drinking it probably feels slightly "gritty" in the same way that drinking chocolate milk does.
Invisibility tastes the same, but more "burnt" or caramel, and with a much stronger chemical smell, which is unique in a sense because it's hard to determine where this smell comes from when blindfolded.
Turtle Shell - Calcium, Iron, and Zinc along with extra vitamins probably. The taste would be similar to coconut milk mixed with acai berries and lime juice. Maybe a hint of pineapple. A rather overpowering tropical combination.
Phantom membrane/Slow Falling - I won't get into the chemical part of this but I just know it's similar to Night Vision in that it smells like nail polish. However, it tastes like fried bacon and calamari. There is definitely a grittiness in the aftertaste that can only be described as "like toenails".
Weakness - smells like rotting flesh, tastes like mold mixed with whip cream.

i made an evil gender flag, for when your gender is Evil
flag (and gender!) can be used by anyone obviously, but only if you are Evil TM
the colors are green because i like green, red because i like red, black because i like black, and purple because i like purple, but also because embracing BEING EVIL is about embracing your inner desires, and as of right this second my inner desires were for a mountain-dew flavored pride flag.
the diagonal lines are to remind you to embrace counterculture and divergent methods of expression and existence, and the circle in the center is because it looks cool (see above).
This flag will be a bitch to sew. This too is very gender of it. in the interests of making your lives easier, i also have a “simplified evil gender flag”. it looks a little sillier, but here you go!
the colors are a little different. this is because i am evil. muahaha.

1. what is the color of your hairbrush? My regular one is grey, but I have a purple one in my purse that i use a lot.
2. name a food you never eat- i’ll try anything at least once. Foods i’d rather NOT eat again? Hmmm probably sea urchin
3. are you typically too warm or too cold? too cold, especially my arms for some reason
4. what were you doing 45 minutes ago? feeding my 11 days old baby
5. what’s your favorite candy bar? ok so this changes quite often, right now i’d say Aero. Ask me in a month or two and it might be something completely different (i’m very partial to After Eight chocolates around the holidays)
6. have you ever been to a professional sports game? yes, many times! i live in the hockey mecca of the Montreal Canadiens and have been to many, many games. i’ve also attended soccer games of the Montreal Impact and Lisbon’s Benfica. Oh and the Women’s Cup that was held in Montreal a few years back, that was fun! Back when Montreal still had a baseball team (RIP the Expos), i went to a few as well. I’ve also attended matches of the Rogers Cup (tennis).
7. what is the last thing you said out loud? “love you” to my husband who just took over with the baby so i could have a bit to myself and answer this! haha
8. what is your favorite ice cream? i’m a simple gal: i like vanilla because it can be matched with so many flavours. i also really love Ben & Jerry’s The Tonight Dough (created by Jimmy Fallon)
9. what was the last thing you had to drink? water. i drink a lot of water because breastfeeding
10. do you like your wallet? i love my wallet! Ever since 2005, all my purses and wallets are from this Portuguese company called Cavalinho and they’re all gorgeous!

13. what’s the last sporting event you watched? probably the NHL Stanley Cup final
