Wanted to do something fun today, so I worked up the motivation to design Moth!Lex based off a Southern Flannel Moth's color palette was meaning to do this a while back but I got really distracted on other stuff i wanted to draw... I plan to do more with this so I consider it a WIP for the mean time

Danny is Gotham

The entire Justice League lay prone on the ground, some mutated Lex Luthor laughed above all of us, power flowed through his veins and I shivered. Even thoughs of us without magic origins could feel the power eminating off of him now. Zeus save us, I prayed.

Then a small green glow caught my eye. Batman? His wounds were stitching themselves together and his blood turned green, his normally white eyes also went green. He stood up wobbily then steadied himself, he jumped Luthor with streangth beyond that of a humans. His cape glowed with constellations and where there should be shadows there was glowing green light, he beat fought with Luthor for at least half an hour. Then he won. Won against who was effectively a god at this point.

Batman collapsed onto his knees, then onto all fours as the green drained from him. His teeth shrunk back down, his cape stopped billowing in imaginary wind, exaustion suddenly over took his body language. Despite this he tried to push himself back up, his arms shook but his teeth clenched and if there was anything I knew about Batman it was that he didn’t give up.

“Rest.” a voice said and Batman looked up but stopped struggling. Batman coughed something out that sounded like ‘moth ham’ which was strange “Heal my knight. For what it matters, I’m proud of you.” the voice said, this time a figure acompanied it, snow white hair and eyes that glowed the same green as Batmans had moments ago. But the black blurring the edges of my vision meant I couldn’t make out anything else about them,

Who was that? Persephone?

Somehow that seemed right, leading two very different lives. Like black and white. Or in this case black and green.

That doesn’t matter though, Batman trusted them, good enough for me, the black seemes really good right now.

Have you considered what Oliver would be like as a vampire? I think he would be nice, with an aura like when you’re all cozy in bed and don’t have to get up, you can just enjoy the coziness. Treating any thrall he picked up with respect and intelligence, like a student and their favorite teacher.

Pines Rare Books and Curiosities was probably Lex's greatest find since he'd arrived in the city.

It was a tiny shoebox of a store in a run-down district, but every single inch was packed with the most unusual and fascinating books. Not only did Mr. Pines stock hard to find imported books and gorgeous editions of classics, but many eclectic volumes of the kind Lex would never find in his university's library. Books on vampires and werewolves, on witchcraft and magic, on alchemy and sorcery and divination.

Lex was starting to suspect that the nervous-looking, unassuming proprietor might actually be a wizard.

"Good evening, sir," said Mr. Pines -- he always called Lex 'sir' when greeting him, even though Lex was barely twenty and Mr. Pines must be at least a decade older. "Is there anything in particular you're looking for?"

Lex felt a bit guilty about spending so much time in the shop and only occasionally buying anything, but Mr. Pines didn't seem to mind. If anything, he encouraged the company, offering books he thought Lex might enjoy and even allowing him to sit in one of the plush chairs behind the counter to read. Lex couldn't resist, drawn to the books and the comfortable chair and the always-roaring fireplace like a moth to the flame. It was such a peaceful retreat from the loud commotion of campus life.

There was a strange look in Mr. Pines' eye as he pulled something from behind the counter. It was a notebook bound in blue leather with no title on the front. "If you don't mind..." he said. "I've been working on writing some stories of my own. I'd like some opinions on them, and I know you have a discerning taste in literature."

"You want me to read your stories?" said Lex, surprised. "Well... I suppose I'd be happy to." Just because Mr. Pines was smart and well-spoken was no guarantee that his writing would actually be good, but Lex felt flattered that he'd asked, and it was the least he could do considering how often he used the bookshop as a sanctuary.

"Then please, have a seat," said Mr. Pines, gesturing to one of the plush chairs near the fire. "I do appreciate the help."

Lex took the notebook and settled himself down. The fire was warm as usual and smelled especially nice today. "What's that scent from the fire, Mr. Pines?"

"Oh, I added dried herbs tonight. The weather has been gloomy, so I thought some nice calming herbs would improve the mood."

Lex took a deep breath. It was so relaxing in the bookshop, as though he could simply let his cares melt away. The notebook had beautiful creamy paper that was satisfying to touch, and Mr. Pines had written out his story in neat script that was easy to read. Before long, Lex was starting to be engrossed in it.

The story followed a vampire, alone and starving in the city after his sire had died, fighting his urges to drink from humans even as he was haunted by the threat of starvation. While it was a straightforward plot, the way it was written was riveting, as though he was actually there, experiencing the feelings of the vampire. At one point, he vaguely wondered how much time had passed, but he couldn't even bring himself to look away from the book long enough to check his watch.

The vampire was giving into his urges, now. He'd lured a young man from a cafe and was ensorcelling him, binding him to the vampire's will. The book described in loving detail how the young man began to succumb slowly but surely to the vampire's hypnotic spell... his mind dulling and slowing, his eyelids growing oh-so-heavy, helplessly getting sleepier and sleepier as the vampire pulled him deeper under his power...

Lex yawned. The descriptions of the young man getting so drowsy were starting to make him feel drowsy, too. The smell of the calming herbs and the pleasant heat of the fire were also lulling him asleep. He'd been here a while, he thought. He should check the time. But he wanted to keep reading.

The young man's eyes began to flutter closed against his will as the vampire drew him so close. "It's too late for you to fight," said the vampire in the story. "You belong to me."

"Yes... master..." said the poor human victim, his mind struggling against the words, trying to fight off the sleepy haze and escape. But it was no use -- the vampire had him utterly at his mercy.

The human's eyes shut tight as he swooned in the vampire's arms, exposing his tender neck for the monster to drink, to feed, to replenish himself off of the victim's life-force...

Lex startled awake. It wasn't as though the book was boring -- on the contrary, it was fascinating -- but the quiet, peaceful shop and the subject matter had him half-asleep. He wanted to finish the story, but he wasn't quite sure where he'd left off. Maybe he should reread the entire part of the vampire enthralling the human, just to make sure he hadn't missed anything...

"What are you doing to me?" said the human in the story. "I feel so strange... so sleepy..."

"Oh, you poor helpless soul," said the vampire, stroking his cheek and directing the human's gaze into his eyes. "You will sleep. You will obey. You will not resist."

Lex swallowed. He didn't understand why he felt so drawn to the victim in the story, why he wanted to be in his place. Why he wanted to read the passage over again. Why it was so hard to think of anything else. Surely that was an insane thought -- no one of sound mind would want to be captured and fed on by some supernatural monster.

"You're getting so sleepy, so helpless, so vulnerable," said the vampire, on Lex's fifth or sixth reread of the passage. 

The words blurred before his eyes. He was... he was so sleepy...

"Shhh, Lex," said a gentle, kind voice at his ear, as a hand tousled his hair. "You're so sleepy, aren't you?"

"Mr... Mr. Pines..." said Lex, so groggy, like he was trying to rouse himself from a deep slumber. "I'm -- your book --"

"So quiet, Lex. You're so very quiet, aren't you? So still and silent while you read."

Quiet... still... silent... yes, that was it... he'd always cherished the quiet...

"Your mind is so quiet. So utterly still. Falling asleep with a good book by the fire."

"Mmmm," he said, with a sleepy smile on his face.

"Let me take this," said Mr. Pines, removing the book from Lex's hands. "You're going to fall asleep now, Lex. And your mind is going to go completely quiet."

Lex didn't even register that something was wrong, that maybe he should resist. He felt completely at ease, peaceful and warm and comforted. As his drowsy eyes fluttered closed, a wool blanket was being wrapped around him, cocooning and immobilizing him. He was being picked up with a strength that may have worried him if his mind weren't falling asleep.

He didn't want to ask where he was going. He wanted to be quiet.

"Sleep, Lex. Sleep deeply in the dark and the silence."

Lex felt as if he were being gently rocked to sleep as he was carried, the creak of stairs giving the only indication of where he was being taken. 

He was set back down again in a few minutes. "You're going to be completely still, Lex. Completely asleep. You won't make a sound. You're going to feel a little pain, but it won't wake you up. And then you're going to drift even deeper asleep."

Lex may have nodded his assent if he weren't so still.

The blanket was being moved, his shirt unbuttoned and moved aside. Something sharp grazed his neck, and then punctured. And then he was falling, falling so deep asleep, so deeply drowsy and still and silent --

He flickered very briefly back into consciousness as he was set onto a bed, before sleep dragged him under once more.

I mainly based him off of butterflies, moths (specifically comet moths - they're the direct inspiration for his wings) and fireflies! there's a bit of dragonfly in there too. you probably can't tell any of this but I promise the inspiration was THERE in my HEAD while I was developing his character. :D

Lore dump for Ariel Brown!

His mom is a Jewish American nurse who works for the army, and his dad is Apollo. Ariel is transmasc and uses he/him pronouns, along with being asexual and gay. He has the standard ADHD and dyslexia of demigods, as well as autism and a dysautonomic disorder. Ariel tries his best to be helpful and feels horrible when he can't be for whatever reason. He loves fiercely and though he's not a great fighter he's very protective. Ariel's main weapon is a cane sword that has plot relevance. His special interest is in the Disney Renaissance.

Ariel is Nico's love interest (he was half created out of spite ngl) and has found siblinghood with Lacy, Meg, and Rachel. He's also best friends with Malcolm and Clovis! Here's him in Lemon Maker

Ariel arrived at Camp Half-Blood just a little bit after Nico, by a matter of hours. They near instantly became best friends while in the Hermes cabin

Ariel didn't stay in the Hermes cabin long and was claimed in the infirmary after a training accident. Ariel loves his siblings very much and wishes he could do everything for them

Ariel was devastated when Nico ran away. He spent every break from school at camp, and Malcolm helped with his worry quite a bit, which led to Ariel developing a crush on him between Labyrinth and the Last Olympian that doesn't go anywhere

When Nico gets captured by the giants , Ariel has a lot of dreams about it, and got a prophecy to save Nico. He was by Nico's side for most of House of Hades, including the Cupid scene, though Ariel didn't hear what Nico had to say due to passing out after trying to attack Cupid. I think this is the moment Nico realizes he likes Ariel

Ariel goes with Nico, Reyna, and Hedge in Blood of Olympus. After the battle with Gaea, Ariel has to spend almost all his time in the infirmary, but Nico often comes to visit often, which helps Ariel to realize his feelings

The infirmary on the Argo was Ariel's de facto room since he specializes in healing. He's a good archer and plays several stringed instruments, but with his disability and mom's job he's always lent towards the healing aspects of his father's powers

Ariel is scared to tell Nico how he feels because all of Apollo's lovers seem to turn into plants and Nico's surrounded by Demeter's children (Persephone, Lex, and I imagine he's friendly with the rest too). Lacy manages to convince Ariel to tell Nico, though, which he does at the beginning of ToA

Speaking of ToA, they're the Trials of Ariel Brown now. Nico lives with the Jacksons, and Ariel finds Meg McCaffrey on his way to see Nico and takes her back to camp, where Apollo, still a god, is visting Rachel. Ariel yells at him a bit for being a bad dad, so he has Ariel go save the oracles. He also goes to the Underworld along with Nico and Will in TSaTS

Nico and Ariel call each other moth and butterfly respectively, and Ariel learns Italian to talk to Nico when he's stressed

here’s some of my 18+ fic recs for all my carlos girlies! i’ve found tumblr has been really iffy with links lately so hopefully they work.

@luvth0t has some of the best fics i’ve read on this site. incredibly well written 18+ fics that are on the longer side and her angst is torturous in the best way possible. for carlos fics, mirror mirror and house of balloons (plus charles) are a must read!

you already mentioned the 1 by @lxclerc but i can’t rave enough about her writing. another blog with amazing angsty fics. would also highly recommend moth to a flame and call out my name (part 2 for moth to a flame) for an impeccable combination of carlos fluff and charles angst (paired with smut).

not a carlos fic rec, but @jamminvroomvroom also writes angst beautifully (i think we can sense a pattern here with my fic recs lol). i am not a lando girlie by any means but her fics are the closest thing to not hating the idea of being one. could not recommend the monaco series (lando x reader x daniel - there’s 3 parts) and a golf swing and a trampoline (lando x reader - also 3 parts). again, the fics above are 18+.

Completed, 30 chapters, “Grey” Fezco O’Neill x black fem reader

Trigger/content warning: Mentions of blood.

It was New Year's Eve and instead of trying to enjoy the party, you were instead searching for your little sister. 

“Where the fuck is Rue?”

Before he responds, Fezco looks around before shrugging. 

“Fuck if I know.”

You gave him a baffled look and puling out a blunt Fezco ignores it. You knew he had come with her to the party, so you expected him to have at least some idea where she was. But then again, Rue recently had been very elusive; Among other things. It was the breakup with Jules. If you could even call it that. It had her a bit shaken up and although you trusted Rue, she was still a vulnerable spot, and you knew what happened last time when Rue and Jules had a situation.

“Okay, well, if you see her, can you tell her I’m looking for her.”

“Got chu.”

You get up to leave and Lexi takes a seat on the other side of the couch. 

“Hi Lex.” You wave and smile at her.

“Hi, have you seen Cassie?” She asked flushed. 

“No sorry. Have you seen Rue?”

“No, but will you let me know if you do?” 

“For sure, will you let Rue know.”

“Of course.” She says with a smile. 

Feeling a bit better knowing that Lexi would be keeping her eyes out for Rue, you continued your search. Remembering Halloween, you decided to check the bathroom and found Maddy banging both of her fist on the door. You knew if Rue was in there, Maddy would have been more patient, but you still wanted to check to be sure. Maddy’s mood changes instantly when she sees you. She smiles and comes towards you with open arms, pulling you into a hug. 

“Bitch, you look amazing.” She compliments you, pulling away from the hug. “If I was Fezco, I’d be careful tonight.”

You rolled your eyes playfully at The festival comment and thanked her for the compliment.

“Have you seen Rue?”

“No sorry.” Maddy tells you genuinely. “Have you seen Cassie, though? Lexi is looking for her.” 

“Nope. Are you sure she’s not the one in the bathroom?” 

“It's Nate, he's taking a shit.” 

“Ew.” You grimaced. 

“I know, and he’s taking fucking forever.” 

“If you see Rue, tell her I’m looking for her, okay.” you tell Maddy before leaving her to continue waiting for the bathroom. 

You continued your search for Rue to no avail and eventually found yourself right where you started in the living room. Originally wanted to ask Fezco or Lexi for help, but it seemed they were a bit occupied with each other. They were laughing, giggling, and even sitting closer than they were before. Shit, they were even blushing. Confused, do you watch their interaction from afar before Jules came up to them. At first, you were more confused as to why she was looking for Rue. 

Then you laughed to yourself, finding it a bit amusing that Rue was definitely dodging Jules. Then again, you didn’t blame her. After their conversation, you decided to follow Jules outside, if there was one person who would lead you to Rue, it was her. And just like magnets or ironically moths to a flame, Jules led you to Rue, who was outside in front of the campfire. Your plan now was to go inside and let them talk, but a moment later Ashtray came up to Rue, and she got out of her seat, Leaving Jules. Then Ashtray came up to you, conveying the same message. 

“Fezco’s about to get into some shit. If you want a ride, meet me at the car.” He tells you before scurrying away. 

“What kind of shit?” You called after Ash, but all he gave you was a quick turn and shrug before leaving. 

Quickly, you returned to the party less than a minute before midnight. Fezco had abandoned his seat next to Lexi, as well as his green sweater. Picking it up for him, you scanned the room and found him making his way towards Nate. Instantly, your mind flooded with many things, none of them good. 

“Happy new year!” The coward of people between you and them erupted. 

Deciding it was best to watch from afar, you keep our eyes on them. Fezco grabs a bottle and cup, pouring himself a drink. They had a small conversation and honestly things felt calm, that was until they clinked cups. And the bottle in Fezco’s hand swiftly met the side of Nate’s head, breaking on impact. You almost jumped at how fast things escalated, but found yourself frozen as Fezco’s fist landed blows and quickly Nate began to bleed. 

It was over just as quickly as it started, and Fezco was already making his way out. Shooting Lexi a mean glare before grabbing your hand and walking out of the party. Still in shock, you stayed silent until you were both in the car with Ash. 

“What the fuck.” You whispered to yourself, your mind still painted with the image of a bloody Nate.

“You good.” Fezco asks, noticing your disconnect. 

“Yeah-NO.” You look at him confused.

“What happened?” Ashtray asked from the backseat. 

“He just beat the shit out of Nate in front of everyone.” 

“Oh shit.” He says with a growing smile, but quickly you shut down Ash’s enthusiasm. 

“Oh shit is right, there was people recording Fez, why would you do that.”

He groans a sigh, still heated from his earlier actions. You wanted to say more, but stayed quiet to give Fezco time to clear his head. You get to his place and Ashtray’s the first to get out of the car. Jumping out of it like a little kid. Leaving you and Fezco to sit in silence for a minute like arguing parents. Not wanting to make a bigger deal out of something that was definitely a big deal, you shifted the focus to Fezco’s injuries and not Nate’s. 

“Come on, let me clean your hand.” You motion to go inside, and he nods before you both leave the car. 

You started by washing the blood that consumed Fezco freckled skin. Before pulling out cotton balls and rubbing alcohol, shaking the bottle before putting some onto the small white balls. You took his hand into your yours, gently pressing the soaked ball to his wound. He winces on contact. 

“Sorry.” You mumble, eyes flickering between his and his hand.

“It’s all good.” Fezco whispers in reply. 

“I still can't believe you did that.” 

He frowns, assuming your words came from a place of disappointment. But the chuckle you fail to stifle gives him a different idea.

“I mean, you really beat Nate’s big ass.” You say with a growing smile. 

“I mean, his bitch ass had it coming.” 

“No, forreal, maybe the brain damage will knock some sense into him.” 

You both laugh and joke as you apply band-aids to Fezco’s knuckles. 

“Thank you.” He says softly, bringing his index finger under your chin as he stands. 

Looking up at him, you hold his gaze for a moment before Fezco kisses you. 

“Happy new year, baby.” He says against your lips.

Harvey dent/two-face loves American football with a passion and will turn down ANYTHING to watch a game. Once two-face was in the middle of a heist when he got a notification about a game, he sprinted to his home at the other side of Gotham screaming “I NEED TO WATCH THIS!” Now there are hundreds of memes of him running through down town.

All superhero and villain females have a yearly girl month where they stay at one of the girls house for 30 days every year. One year it was hosted by Harley Quinn and all they did for one week is to annoy the living shit out of joker. He ended up going to Harvey’s house for the rest of the month.

Joker loves to annoy lex Luther and graffitied his skyscraper once after he was told to shut up. It took months to clean of the dick he drew.

When scarecrow got his top surgery he could stop showing it of and he was very happy.

During his recovery villains brought him pot noodles because it’s his favourite food.

Riddler refuses to get bottom surgery because he’s always wanted to be pregnant.

Somehow mr freeze got the cure to cancer while trying to save his wife, Nora.

When Killer moth and firefly came out to everyone that they were dating the villains threw a party where only lady gaga and cupcaKke was played. It was so loud you could hear it all around gotham. Batman ended up breaking in to see riddler throwing it back with with mad hatter throwing money at him, scarecrow throwing up with several girls rubbing his back, joker and two-face singing along with CPR, killer moth and fire fly making out and the rest of the villain having a rave. Commissioner Gordon was very concerned when he saw not only the villans but now several superhero’s dancing along.

Joker found batmans Snapchat and they have a 437 day streak.

Bane and killer croc are absolute besties and have matching friendship bracelets.
