i used to watch a lot of proko and sycra videos (on youtube), and also do gesture/figure drawings from photo references and k-pop dance practice videos

when / why did you start drawing?

i started taking it seriously when i was 15. seeing lesbian fanart was what caused my gay awakening and i felt like there wasn't enough of it, so i decided to get better

do you do traditional art?

i kind of dislike it. i have filled over 1000 A4 sheets and 7 sketchbooks over the years, but it's all quick doodles to practise or warm up. when i bought a tablet i could carry around i stopped drawing traditionally as often, but i still find myself drawing in my sketchbook from time to time when i want to sketch midlessly or get better at something.

do you draw nsfw art?

very rarely, but i only show it to my friends. i do consume a lot of nsfw content tho, just not in public 👍

how do you keep yourself motivated?

a combination of drawing only what i like and a strong desire of seeing more lesbian art. that's why i mostly make fanart and almost never participate in art trades or make art gifts. i also don't want to make a career out of drawing

have you gone to art school?

i'm currently doing a degree in design at college, but it has almost no correlation with the kind of art i share online. before that i never studied art academically

OT2 demo finished! time for thoughts on it so far:

i started with castti (i really couldn’t chose a fav before playing so i just picked apothecary because i wanted a healer and i like alfyn so) i managed to finish castti, hikari, and partitio before running out of time. for the final game i’m probably gonna pick up throne next since i want a dagger user.

ANYWAYS. here’s the stuff i was noticing so far

-YOU CAN SWAP YOUR LEAD. OH THANK FUCKING GOD NO MORE SUPER OVERLEVELED LEAD YOU CANT TAKE OUT

-chapter 1s are always solo, you don’t get to take your previously picked up guys there. i honestly like this a lot better, it gives your fresh level 1 party member a few levels and keeps them from being a cakewalk. id assume this also made them design the chapter 1s to all be better balanced around 1 character (lol ophilia and prim moment). but also, this avoids the therion problem where it makes absolutely no sense that other party members can come with him to rob a house in his chapter 1. this way they’re self contained and all equally difficult so i like it 👍

-new ability meter that’s unique for each character. (i forgot what it’s called already). i like this a lot, it gives an extra layer of depth and niche to everyone, since even if you ran two characters with the same class combo they’ll still have different abilities this way.

-environments and pixel art are gorgeous, as is expected with 2d-hd style but still. the game looks great

-in terms of characters they chapter 1s are all doing a good job of selling me on initial mysteries. all 3 i finished seem to have some good setups and lots of unanswered questions, even if amnesia and evil shadow blood are whatever tropes i dont care i still like them.

-since chapter 1s are solo there’s been no opportunity to see any party interactions, so i don’t know how much more there will be. this was one of my biggest gripes with OT1 and i hope there’s gonna be more than just travel banter and tavern dialogue this time. i know it’d be hard to account for every possibility of party members but. it’s not like this is an indie game just write more dialogue, have it acknowledged please please please please. however it seems when you meet the other travelers they do acknowledge your specific lead, since partitio had specific dialogue for castti recruiting him.

-class abilities are mostly the same with some differences, i noticed some elemental spells have been moved around, merchant has fire now and not wind. i wonder if it traded with thief or it’s like, dancer got wind, thief got dark, and merchant got fire now. looks like merchant still has some of its old busted skills, though i doubt they’d make the mistake of putting runelord back to let you abuse it the same way. warrior/merchant can still definitely do the dumb taunt/sidestep strat tho lol.

🌟 Steren: nerevarine, technically. not actually the reincarnation of nerevar, but the reincarnation of nerevar’s son. nerevar never reincarnated bc he was too busy haunting his descendants, too upset to move on. steren has a couple of aus but mostly its him with vivienne the dragonborn who belongs to @mulberrycafe. calls voryn “ata” and nerevar “dad” because he technically grew up in cyrodiil but remembers his first lifetime in bits and pieces where voryn raised him for the first few years.

An Exploration Of Planetary Aesthetics:

A beautiful girl on TikTok once revealed to me that her secret to embodying the ideas and archetypes she wants to embody, is curating Pinterest boards, one for each...archetype, idea, facet, whatever you wanna call it. I wanna do the same, based on the nine planets in the Solar System, but in order to chase to Mercurial Aesthetic, the Venusian Worldview, etc..., I need to be able to define them. I'm documenting my progress here.

Part I: Mercury

Astronomical Research:

Mercury is the smallest planet in the Solar System (barring Pluto which I do consider a planet cause I decide that), and also the closest one to the Sun.

It's a desolate world, robbed by atmosphere and geological activity by the only thing allowing its existence. The planet that takes the least time to do a full orbit around the Sun, so quick that somehow it takes longer for it to revolve around itself. Full of craters that shall remain forevermore and fluctuating between extreme heat and extreme cold, Mercury the planet appears to be a devoted servant to the Sun itself, hurrying to cater to its every whim, leaving its self preservation to the subconscious.

We're going somewhere.

So Mercury is closely intertwined with art, science and culture in general.

Looking at it through the lens of the information we just gathered, I'd characterise Mercury, the planet, as a tortured/mad artist/scientist who lives and breathes for a muse/an idea/an invention/a patron, neglecting their own needs in order to please them/achieve perfection/satisfy them and themselves. They're quick, quicker than anyone, and more devoted than anyone but in all their hurry, no one can keep an eye on them for long enough to notice it. And, why would anyone look at Mercury when gorgeous Venus and different Earth are bigger and more visually striking? Doomed to burn itself out in the pursuit of something bigger than them that would probably never even notice them, Mercury reminds me a bit of Natalie Portman's character in Black Swan who allows her drive for perfection to ultimately cause her downfall.

To preface the mythological part of my research, this also kinda reminds me of the Icarus Myth - flying too close to the sun to the point of your own demise.

Mythological Research:

Mercury is, obviously named after the Roman god Mercury, who is the Roman counterpart of the Greek God Hermes (they are not exactly the same tho, might elaborate in a bit). Basically, he is the god of commerce (therefore roads, trade voyages, etc.), luck, travel and travellers, boundaries, trickery, communication (including divination), eloquence, financial gain, wit, cleverness. He escorts the newly deceased to the underworld and is essentially mostly known as the messenger of the Gods.

The picture this paints is basically a God that controls so many important things about everyday life that also gets overlooked cause things like currency and roads are easy to undersell when compared to the ocean and the sky. A trickster that can live among mortals just as easily as he can among gods. Someone who knows and understands human nature and has fun with it, all while being a protector of humanity in a sense.

Other Associations:

In astrology, Mercury, much like in mythology, rules communication, coordination, analysis, information. It rules two signs - Gemini and Virgo.

Gemini is the classical Mythological Mercurial character by what we've described above - quick, witty, a bit overconfident, creative, always ready to tackle any problem, whimsical, the center of attention.

Virgo, on the other hand, seems to resemble the Astronomical definition a bit more: not as quick, but humble, hyper-focused on a few things, always hiding in the background and getting things done, self-conscious and practical.

Summary:

Judging by the information, I've gathered, I'd describe the Mercurial Aesthetic for myself as:

Intelligence, Academia, the pursuit of information

Unhealthy obsession with anything creative or scientific, could be connected to a person but not solely about a person.

Mental puzzles, scheming

Freedom, travel, trains (bullet trains even better), cars, planes, even more so helicopters

Wind, flight, air

Wit, quickness, someone who just never seems to be able to slow down, mumbling cause they're talking so fast

Manipulation, playing coy, testing people

Business, negotiation, wordplay

Writing, ink, but also computers and all and any kind of technology

Self destructive ambition

Innovation even when it's unfeasible

Unkempt physical appearance

Lack of organisation at the home.

Electricity.

Colors: Brown, Blue and Gray.

Dark Academia in general, but...not as composed.

There's not a lot of it. Shocker, right? At least around the game. We're gonna give knowledge on all the characters I can.

We can infer that there were 3 "Ploks" total. Grandpappy Plok, (Mystery Dad Plok), and Game Plok. (Mystery Dad Plok) is heavily implied if not outright stated in the webcomic to be the Plok that would have been in the cancelled arcade game Fleapit.

The Bobbins. What to say about the Bobbins. They're very cut and dry "failed circus acrobats turned thugs for hire". We all know about Irving by this point, I hope. If you don't; yeah, there's a third bobbins. He's green. He's my favorite because I can see him not being a total jerkwad like the others (from 1 line of dialogue).

The Penkinos. They're magicians. They kill everyone that attends their shows apparently. They're very purposefully vague and mysterious. How do they turn pretty much invincible when fully ballooned? God I wish to unsee what I have seen when it comes to living balloons.

Womack.? Yeah. Surprise surprise, we have 'he's a cool dude who thinks he's king of all he sees'. Why make a whole fan page about all of that? Because. He's a cool as heck spider!!! And I want to see cool as heck spiders succeed.

Fun Womack Fact; In Game Womack was designed by Lyndon Brooke. His in-game sprite came before any art of him outside the game.

Rockyfella, the dirt spirit that hates flagpoles. I mean, if someone stuck a bunch of signs and flagpoles in my body, I wouldn't be happy either! Uh, Grandpappy digs up one of his heads somehow. Read the webcomic, he's there a lot.

Fleas! Look. I don't personally care about fleas enough to look at the manual. There's more about fleas than any other character aside from plok.

My personal thoughts?

I dislike the Ploks. They're on the lower end of my character interests here.

My favorite headcanon; Game Plok was a younger teen during the games. Because he comes across as a little pest during them, or at least childish (derogatory).

I enjoy the Bobbins. Still not high tier but I have a soft spot for the worst characters (people wise) you will ever meet.

My favorite headcanon; Irving, after he left, decided to go to trade school. It's a funny image in my head okay shhh.

The penkinos. I wanna like them. But read the last sentence of their prior section.

My favorite headcanon; Those shapes and patterns on them? Mostly paint and decals. They are smooth, single color beans under that.

Womack! Read my URL. I love this spider sm. He's just a funky dude! He's canonically cool, I mean, seriously, look at him. Beta Womack's official art is so sad tho.

My favorite headcanon; He has an eye for interior design. Sure, that eye loves as many sunset colors as he can get, but its still an eye!

Rockyfella, up there, cool guy, deserves to not have flagpoles stuck in him. I cannot draw buff guys atm so he has been a struggle.

My favorite headcanon; everyone asks him to flavor their food. 'Salt is a rock, isn't it?' He is not amused.

My favorite headcanon; If you lifted them up, they would just go longcat with their legs. Folded up, they look manageable. Unfolded, those tendies are LONG.

Hey, Laurie, sweetest! 🧡 Thank you for the question! You got me with this one tho heh. I'm not sure whether these are weird or not so, you decide hehe. Depends on which culture they came from, I guess. Anyway, I'll list all of them and I'll also go with the Metalsea cast.

Cronyl and his "rubik's cube"

Cronyl has, for example, a hobby – or sometimes a coping mechanism, that contains a metal "rubik's cube" basically. Its similar to a rubik's cube in mechanics, not appearance; there are no different colours on it. Either way, Cronyl has that cube in his bag all the time, because that was the tool which helped him to learn how the Metalsea works. From the outside, the cube looks completely plain metal, even though, it's still strange because its' surface always waves just a tiny bit. When you look at it with Cronyl's eyes however, you'll see the inside of the cube that's basically built from little metal pieces that search for their pairs (think of puzzles). So, Cronyl's hobby is messing with this cube, while he also started to occupy himself with it when he's frustrated.

Bra'aka and his animal grooming

There's nothing more peaceful and stress-easing for him, then a good ol' grooming. He usually loves to be around animals and take care of them. His not much of a trainer, though.

Darmon and his glass jewelry collection

He collects glass pieces. Various kinds, from translucent through coloured to patterned. His favorite is the wavy patterned kind. When he collected enough, he’ll work on piecing them together and making jewelry from it. It’s something that he rarely does, but never stops completely. His parents had a jewelry shop back in the day when he was young and still among his people, and this is the only thing that he did not forget from that time. Avelyn and her scattered book pages

She lives in a monostery that has an enormous, ancient library with countless books. So it's not rare to find page pieces on the ground, ripped out or accidentally teared from the very old books. Never whole pages, though. And Avelyn loves to collect these pieces. There are a lot of kind of books in the library, even poems and fictions too (even though those are hidden, but she could find some) She's really into the mystery of what the whole page and the book could have contained which the pieces were ripped out from. Sometimes, she tries to piece the various ones together to have something new created. But she mostly just enjoys the intrigue of those half sentences or pharagraps.

Nareethi and her trinkets

She's endlessly curious, so she loves new things very much. That's why she also loves trading.She needs some new things to have in her bag all the time. She's not a hoarded though, because she only keeps the trinkets with her so long as they are new and interesting to her. She study them, messes with them, until she completely understands them or just thoroughly knows them. Then she trades them to someone. But not for money though. Only for other new things.

Syonehlia and her martial art training

She's a noble, so she shouldn't have learn these things, but she still does it in secret. She loves the rush of a fighting session and the fact she can defend herself and others if she masters this skill.

Drehana and her braiding

She used to braid the animal's mane she tamed for her employees (the royal family). She accustomed to do it and soon realized she loves to do it. She's that kind of a person who masters whatever things she dabbled in. Which means, she learned to do very complex braids, so the local children usually goes to her to have a hair they can show off. Bra'aka and Eldnar will love her skills and will be down to request some braiding from her in the very moment they learn this info about her.

Eldnar and his earring collection

He's a fan of earrings and piercings. He likes to collect at least one kind from every place he went to. He'll love Darmon's jewelries too and would love to bully him into making him a specific one. But Darmon will gift him one anyway, so there's no need for bullying.

Design shitting: Weird Object Chams That Are Completely Unuseable As Characters edition

Yeah the title explains itself. I really can’t imagine anyone doing anything with these things aside from extremely generic drawings

This design is actually kind of neat in my opinion…but it’s a decorative item for your TH, not a character.

all that extra detail bullshit too it’s more of a moving terrarium than a cham i bet it’s personality is caring about the stupid frogs in its ass it’s cute but i just know it costs upwards of 400 dollars despite being made of dirt. it’s cute but the fact knowing it’s a cham with rare traits just ruins it the hell is it supposed to even do just sit there really

also one nice thing about going home is the thrift stores are honestly way better there lol i think its bc theres a lot more college aged kids bc of the bigger univeristy+another university+various colleges for trades and the arts, etc (or at least thats what my dad says)

ive gotten 2 from the thrift shop there, including a mostly complete Skelita from the Scaris, City of Frights line... shes missing her suit case but she has her stand and all her accessories and clothes, and only a little colour rubbed off on her hands (apparently a problem with her being pure white+having a cheap colourful skirt), and whoever had her before left some of her packing on even (her necklace is still elasticed on, and she has plastic around her hips to help keep volume in the skirt bc of her mold) and shes just soooo cute i love skeletons and the sugar skull stuff is so pretty ;;;;

but yeah i would like to see about getting more in the future, tho definitely not all of them just the ones that interest me lol i also have a venus mcfly trap but she doesnt have shoes or her vines, and the dress she has on isnt hers (its part of cladweens outfit from the 13 wishes line)

Very excited to rant about this group bc I adore them. The rat gang is a group of typically rodent-like jellis, lead by Tips.

(art and design by Seedsly on th) He started the group in good faith, after seeing Andromeda turn evil from his bulling (I'll talk about him at a later point, all you need to know is that he's a villain). He was disturbed by the fact nobody came to help the poor kid, so the group was created, along with his few buddies, as an ''anti-bullying'' group. The group grew a bit bigger over time since, and by present day, they've expanded to helping anyone they come across during their laps around the island. They're well known by the locals, and are welcomed into any village they enter into. Tho ofc when they started, most saw them as a group of trouble makers. They ran into issues with every village's guards, but sorted things out just fine. They still cause trouble for the guards, but at this point they even don't bother with the group as its only a waste of time (ex. they'll trespass to clean up litter or fetch smth that someone dropped; cause a bit of property damage to help if need be, ect). Also the only reason the group is called ''the rat gang'' is because that was what the locals started to call it, they just went around as a nameless group before then. With the group mostly consisting of rat noodles and rat like jellis, it was bound to end up with that name. Below is a link to all the members

hello! hope ur doing well! i love reading ur answers and getting to know more abt u sm! its just amazing how days go by so quickly and busily like u blink and suddenly its 4 of them passed already! apologies! unlike u, im still infant-level fan to kpop (got pulled by skz) and being as hyperfocused on skz as i was, dont know any other kpop groups like i do skz sadly, but i do love music! i love shinee's stuff sm!!! and my best friend really likes xdinary heroes so im getting into them too! and txt just have some of the funnest bsides so their discography gets scoured too lmao. i just dont know any grps members or anything well, but yeah! like u said, lots of good music raining down. i will never understand ppl's bias against non native language songs-esp when they like english stuff and its not their mother tongue!-bcs kpop has such a range. so many interesting sounds, artists and genres!! from past year ive really found myself drawn to soft-ish(?) k-indie/rock a lot! u asked for newer artists (ik so less abt bands. this is a personal failure</3) some of my favorites i think are: lee go do, mingginyu, nerd connection! akmu, heo hoy kyung, se seo neon, etc etc just lots of solo lowkey artists and songs lmao. there's smth abt the lapping continuity of soft sounds and forming of language like that which enthralls me a lot. i really adore loud and wonderful girl group songs as well!! i listen to girl groups a whole lot more than bgs which is surprising bcs i love skz, but their immaculate energy and style! really love aespa, rv, loona! stayc, twice, billie, izone and others! do u listen to lucy the band? their stuff's really fun as well! i rambled sm lmao but yeah. music is so exciting in so many aspects its amazing. i love listening to a lot of languages and genres too! mostly bcs my brain's engagement is a pinball game and i am keeping it amused with fifty different things at the same time. which is why i just have a lot of recs for songs but none for artists bcs i collect and find interesting stuff but get obsessed easily, which makes it difficult to get into every artist particularly. would love to trade playlists or songs once this secret santa is over if ud be comfortable with that! Raph's usable but not a part of the A team. Most units don't want to be taking more than one hit anyways so as long as he's not dying in one attack its fine and Raph is one of the more survivable units. What I've tended to have more problems with is his speed, on maddening he get doubled so often and that's what puts him in danger. Defense can be compensated for with a battalion and shield. Wyvern lord would let him canto away from danger thus not needing as much defense. War master and gauntlets would better use his high strength.

Generally speaking a simple progression for Hilda is fighter, brigand, wyvern rider, wyvern lord. Hilda is one of your best physical attackers, wyvern lord is probably her best final class so build towards that. You can optionally pick up pegasus knight for its mastery ability darting blow which is very good. Try to master brigand, most physical units want to for its ability death blow.

Leonie has the highest speed and crit rate in the game. Mostly speed and a little strength determine avoid, crit is equally dex and luck, Leonie has a lot of all 3 she's equally as good at this as Petra is. Leonie is chosen less often as dodgetank because she's such a good archer. To put it another way Leonie is as good a dodgetank as Petra and Ingrid but Petra and Ingrid aren't as good at dealing damage as Leonie. Leonie makes one of the best bow knights in the game and is my personal favorite. Please note bow knight trades mobility for bad stats and growths, other equally good options for her include sniper or a lance class like falcon knight or paladin. Bow knight has the largest range in the game and one of the best at hit and run tactics. With Leonie's high crit she can crit most hits this is especially good for double hit attacks which she may be able to on default with her extremely high speed but also enhances 2 hit combat arts like sniper's hunter'y volley and her personal point black volley.

For Lorenz the main builds are frozen lance paladin vs dark knight, it's a trade off paladin has lancefaire's +5 mt but dark knight has spell casting versatility and range. Long term dark knight also has a mag growth but you're probably already in endgame so by the final map the difference will be small. Personally I like dark knight since in maddening frozen lance starts to fall off in end game and its kill rate becomes shaky leaving Lorenz open to counters (interesting fact is that Lorenz is the one who benefits most from the defensive abilities of Thrysus). With Lorenz, Thrysus augments both his offensive and defense and makes him your tankiest magic option, so it gives him a niche that Lysithea can't fill. Lorenz is one of the best users of dark knight it is HIS class. the versatility of magic usually pays off against a weaker frozen lance which on maddening won't kill in endgame.

Poor Lorenz. 3H rewards min-maxing and punishes versatility and magic-physical mixed units more than other FE games. Lorenz would have done great in Awakening or some of the other games. Thrysus for that mage tank build tho.

for weird/fun builds on ng+ file where you don't have to worry about investment cost Wyvern Lord is an ok option as he can switch between physical and magic axes. I took him down the brawling route once and he did better than expected (not totally useless). If you want low investment just make him healer and build your healer to be an attacker.

guys im unlocking so many trading card related memories. i remember watching a video some guy made abt how to make undertale cards and they left a link of all the assets u could print out and i went wild with it. i mustve printed out like half of the characters. even duplicates because i would put them in boosters made out of tinfoil or whatever and open them myself or give them to my family. i do not know what happened to all of them also i remember one of our relatives getting us minecraft cards sometimes. like DEFINITELY unofficial ones. looks like mojang got themselves an official series now tho (made by panini! love these guys) but they were NOT that. i cant exactly describe them but their layout was similiar to pokemon cards i think. but they definitely werent made in these pokemon tcg generators or whatever. i FUCKING WISH i still had them i also used to collect fifa cards for a brief amount of time. i got bored of them because they were humans and not cool creatures. yes, of course they were the panini ones. anyways one time i took them to school and during recess some random kid wanted to trade for one of my cool shiny golden cards. his offer was a card of some guy called mario. and i thought like hey! thats like the video game guy! thats hilarious! so we traded. still not sure if i was scammed or not i also dabbled in making my own tcgs like four times now, i made 2 in elementary school and 2 in middle school. first one was just assorted creatures (mostly fusions of existing animals) and the rest were exclusively about dragons. i still have the little “album” of the cards i made for the first one somewhere in my closet. dunno what i would do with myself if i lost it. anyways yeah i was like 6 or 7 so they were shit. i didnt know what measuring or a ruler was back then so theyre all different sizes. but its okay because i love them the first dragons were a bit better but OHHH MY GOD the element system i made for them was shit. i tried to put it as many as possible. the dumbest ones i can remember r “love” and “magma”. the MAGMA element literally only had the MAGMA dragon in it BECAUSE I COULDNT FUCKING THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE alright so the second attempt at dragons. originally i started it in traditional but then i was like hey why not draw them in firealpaca it would be COOL. one small issue. I MADE THEM SUPER FUCKING SMALL FOR NO REASON look at this

WHY NOT GIVE THEM TO SOMEONE..... so i printed them out. stuck the pictures to some cardboard. put them in little paper booster boxes that i specifically referenced off the detective pikachu boosters (i still have one of them in my drawer) and bought a WHOLE BINDER for her to put them in..... and gave them to her as a birthday gift..... it mustve been like the lamest fucking fit ever god golly attempt three. i actually had them all saved on my old computer but sadly i didnt move the folder to this one so most of them are lost..... but yeah they were digital. i actually think theyre still sick as fuck. i need to get back on that tcg grind someday
