psst. hey. do you ever worry that you’re writing characters ‘ooc’ in fanfiction? well guess what. you’re not. that’s just your au now.
“they would not say that” yes they would, my au version of this character would totally say that
“ummmm this character’s powers don’t work like that” but they do. in my au
“these characters would never canonically be dating” buddy oh boy i cannot wait to tell you what fanfiction writers have been doing since the advent of their craft!! anything goes in my au!!!
the medium is inherently transformative do whatever you want forever ok ly byye

In Nothing But Shadows, Ragnor tells James that he’s been waiting for James to come to him for help on his warlock powers, and James says he’s only ever wanted to be a Shadowhunter. I think this should have been explored much more in TLH, where James is struggling to differentiate himself from his warlock side but it’s hard because of his abilities and his warlock mark.
On the other hand, we have Lucie who always says she doesn’t appreciate being overlooked (even though she ends up being overlooked through the whole narrative even though her power is more plot-relevant than James’s). Objectively, Lucie has the more powerful ability between her and James, and she does not have a warlock mark and is unafraid to use her power. She has a willingness to learn about her warlock side. Therefore, I think she definitely should have started warlock training so we could see the way that James and Lucie have opposite views on their powers and whether they are a blessing or curse, something to hide away and tame or something to utilize. It would also be interesting to see because, although this is not discussed in TLH, it is mentioned in the short stories that even at a young age people in Shadowhunter society think that Lucie is never going to be married because of her warlock blood and that any little misstep could forever ruin her reputation. So her warlock training just adds even more risk but I think that seems like something Lucie would do regardless. It could have added much more dimension to Lucie’s character and furthered an antihero arc (that I so desperately wish would have happened).

this is completly self indulgent and fucking random but i HAVE to vent
this was one of my favourite few months fandon wise istg
first i experienced dazai osamu- THE Mr. Bungou Stray Dogs himself die on the anniversary of Bakugou Katsuki's death. Both of these occurencies very fucking hilarious to me for different reasons but needless to say i celebrated both(dazai's more, REST IN PISS BOZO) nevertheless
then i read a post here on the site of the tumblr that apparently griffith berserk has managed to live this long(over 30 human yrs) cus he "allegedly" survives by stealing the life force of other white haired anime boys. i found this hilarious and jokingly prayed to him that if that WAS the case then 'Please o please o please o great griffith i'll take any penalty just fucking kill Gojo Satoru i cant stand his fake ass' and GUESS WHAT
GOJO SATORU DIES WITHIN THE FUCKING WEEK OF ME SAYING THAT
but on that same day fucking DAZAI comes back from the dead.
so griffith did what he had to do to rid us of the annoying white haired twink but said brunettes r not his type.
what a wild ride.
i wish my life made as much sense as this lmao

Not the “Across the Spider-Verse” film introducing yet MORE ways in which Miles is pulled between two worlds/two identities!!!
Already in “Into the Spider-Verse” we saw him pulled in two directions / straddling two identities or communities on multiple fronts, namely:
Afrolatino
Bilingual
Graffiti artist / STEM student
Regular kid / Spider-Man
Fancy private school kid / Brooklyn public school kid
“Focused” honors student / “Distracted” serial truant
And now we get to tack on:
His DNA is literally hybridized - part from his birth universe (Earth-1610B) AND part from the Earth-42 universe
Heroic Spider-Person AND dangerous anomaly
Bruh. The levels. They really went all-in with him on the myriad ways one can be othered by their own community - never being considered enough of one identity to be claimed by either of them and thus never really feeling like you truly, wholly belong anywhere, huh?! Gotdamn.

the conversation where molly says "I leave every town better than I found it" is when he's defending himself after beau called him out for doing something fucked up, which was telling strangers what he arbitrarily decides that they need to hear and subsequently scamming them with false fortunes, like has legitimately everyone fucking forgotten that. it was just quoted in the wired article about critical role's positive legacy and it's...still the tagline for their nonprofit

there are very few things that will get me to stop reading a fic once i get into it, but the one that never fails to get me to click away is when the reader explicitly says that they are straight, or that they’re only attracted to men
especially because i’ve never felt the need, in any of the fics i’ve written with a heterosexual pairing, to have one of the characters announce it to the world

atsv's miguel o'hara is so lana del ray multiverse of madness' wanda coded. went out of his way to steal the life of another miguel in order to have the family that he never did in his own universe. and caused irredeemable harm because of it.
and then he goes and projects all that guilt and emotional trauma onto miles, because he has the potential to make the same mistake >:C not because miles wants to steal and gain a family he should've never had to begin with. but because he just wants to save the family he already has. wasn't even meant to be spider-man and now miguel's after his head because he's trying to break the mold of what it means to be spidey
like mfer if you don't leave that child alone and let him save his dad

“rhaenyra doesn’t care about being a good queen and only cares about power” honey. nobody on this whole entire show cares about being a Good Monarch, they’re all taking their various poisons and doing what they think is best for the realm according to that system, which is rotted. rhaenyra has been inundated with blood purity targaryen prophecy propaganda since she was born, why would she worry about being a Good Queen when sitting on the iron throne is not only her birthright by blood, but is the thing that will save the entire world from destruction. alicent doesn’t worry about being a Good Queen, she’s there because she was sacrificed on the altar of family progress and in order to make her life worthwhile she must continue her line and perform womanhood and obsequence better than it has ever been performed, otherwise her life will have been a series of small deaths with no purpose. both of these women have been manipulated and pointed in particular directions by the structures around them, and now a blade of valyrian steel has freed them and brought their desires to the forefront. rhaenyra sees the flames and the walls of her cage and decides, literally, to hell with it. if i’m going to burn then you all are going to burn with me, and in the meantime i am going to become as powerful as i can be, so that i can resuscitate this dying dynasty through power of will alone. alicent draws blood and recognizes there is no hiding behind virtue and capitulation, but maybe she can turn that virtue into a weapon that can allow her to exercise her will with more force and more righteousness than before. they are both advancing causes that are not Real or Good or Necessary, and have zero to do with Being a Good Ruler. they’re trapped in mutual prisons of fate and power and the only choice they have is how they’re going to destruct. it’s not about who sits on the throne it’s about the inevitable moral and physical decay of those who thirst for power, no matter the divine reasoning they have.

not sure how to word this but having the embodiment of the sin of lust in your edgy story set in hell care very seriously about consent, has the same energy as when people convince themselves that spamton would hate nfts.

Hi there 🫶🏾
My name is Angel and I am a 19 year old black female.
I go by she/they and I decided to stop being scared of the itsv/atsv fandom, so I started this blog. Screw the haters. It's nice to meet y'all.
Don't be scared to be moots or talk to me, angels. I am nice, I promise.
My other fandoms:
Marvel
Rick and Morty
Encanto
Good omens
But to be honest, I might just stick with superheroes. And maybe Good omens
Rules:
Please do not come in here with that hateful mess, I am here to have fun and to fulfill requests that I am comfortable with. Do not read my stuff if you don't like it.
I will write anything except gore, scat, excessive blood, piss, r@pe, and excessive violence. Do not request disgusting things. I will write like stalking maybe, soft core stuff like that, but don’t push it any farther. I will write headcanons or just little short stories. If you got a little idea, send it and I will add onto it.
I will not hesitate to block people cause I want a positive and comfortable space for everyone.
If you got a story or a fic: be respectful with your requests and asks. Be descriptive and don't bombard me with asking if I am finished. I have a life, go to school, and I have a job. Don't expect me to do every request.
I am a female, so I will only write for fem reader (still getting comfortable with writing male reader.)
Also, I change fandoms a lot because I am into a lot of stuff. I am sorry if I stop writing for something and I will try to stick to one thing.
I will write for:
Miles Morales: Comic, game, 42, 1610, all
Hobie Brown
Pavitr Prabhakar
Miguel O’Hara
Tony Stark
Steve Rogers
Thor Odinson
Loki
Peter Parker: Tom Holland
Bucky Barnes
Stephen Strange
Bruce Banner
I think that's all.
Bye bye, my angels!
