Um….did you miss the part where he makes the pointed snide remark about closet space to him right in front of Eddie and Marisol? Two people who he was most definitely not out to? And had they picked up on his comment Buck would have then just been outed to them by Tommy’s comment?

You mean, after Buck forcibly shoves Tommy back into the closet, after Tommy opened up to him, just because he's literally on a date with a man while not being ready to admit to people he knows and loves that he's on a date with a man

Also, Tommy's pointed remark came after Buck looks his straight best friend in the face and drops the line "hot chicks". He literally proclaimed straightness for them both to his oblivious straight best friend, so puh-lease get the ever loving futz out of my face with this "what if he outed buck, poor buck" bs. Buck was being immature and inconsiderate and was literally lying in his date's face. And Tommy made one snide joke, playing off Buck's wacky closeted bs, and then politely excused himself from the rest of the night.
