The Spade Gang

A group of villainous bandits that roam the sparse plains of Eastern Hayle. They gonna gitchu!! Had to represent the three genders of course, Man, Woman, and Gremlin. (jk, I know there are more than that)

Have some drawings/sketches of monster guys inspired by Pokémon :3

These were all done like a few months or so from each other, and they're not presented in order of drawn, so they probably look a bit different

Won't go into much detail for them, and they're probably not the most detailed anyways, but I will still talk about them under the read more :3

So the first guy is meant to be like a pixel cube cat that is shades of grey, like how Red and Blue, as well as other old games, were, though I did give them some other shapes and didn't make them completely cubic, like the eyebrows and the whiskers :3

Second guy, who is probably a bit hard to see, is a fire lizard. I know that Charmander exists, but I tried to make them as different as possible :3 They're based off of greater short-horned lizards, and I imagine they also shoot stuff from their eyes like the animal, though it's not blood

Third guy, or guys, are some landshark dog guys :3 The top one is based off of German shepherds, and the bottom one is meant to be a pit bull, since both are called landsharks I believe :3

Fourth guy is like a stick insect mixed with a grasshopper that's meant to resemble like a branch. Used to have an idea of a Pokémon that's a stick insect that evolves into a branch, and then a tree, so this guy is based on that :3

And the last guy here is a hummingbird that's also a jet, because they're both fast guys :3 Not a lot going on with them, but I do still enjoy this guy and had fun making it look like a hummingbird with jet-like qualities :3

This is Smy.er, one of the main occuring antagonists in my future monster catching game "battle pals". Meowster is the name of his species, and they either come from pairing other meowsters, or they are made by surgically combining a cat, a human, and mutated cells.

I decided to add a little bit of backstory / job for these characters and I gave them some names! So the muscular bunny demon is named Bleeder Van Batz - despite having that family name they are very much a bunny. (any/all pronouns) And to the right we have Eyes (any/all pronouns) he is a bat demon.

Their story so far: Bleeder and Eyes are a part of a club called the Hell's Spawn Catcher Club that gather together every Sunday afternoon to discuss ways they can catch Hell's Spawn. Hell's Spawn are a type of invasive spirit species with unknown origins (Poor city management) that cause a lot of trouble. Their primal urge to destroy is what makes them a public nuisance.

The public is urged and rewarded to catch and kill these Hell's Spawn, earning a HellToken for every spawn turned in. The tokens are redeemable only at convenience stores around the underworld and can be used for any in-store product which includes food and drink (hot or cold) and material goods. Some stores hold prizes and raffles with the tokens as an entry item. This incentive allows the Hell's Spawns number to be controlled within the city, the much larger groups and nests are taken care of by professionals.

Hell's Spawn are inedible and leave destruction in their wake. Popular items to encase Hell's Spawn are Tupperware containers and drink bottles. Citizens are also rewarded +1 token if turned in a plastic bottle for recycling.

Just to clarify, I don't hate Palworld just cause it's clear a fair amount of the designs are stolen assets/AI generated, it's also cause it's got racist adjacent content. That bothers me the most, really. And also people saying "It isn't confirmed that the designs are AI generated" when ummm. Just look at them. There is near no thought put into them with random little "bits" slapped onto them for detail. It's just marketable. That or they steal fan designs. Also the developers previous projects include NFTs and unfinished games, one of which being a BOTW clone. Like IDK the game may be fun but I wouldn't want to support it at all???? I don't get people ignoring all this just cause it's "fun" and 4chan levels of edgy.
