✢ characters: Donquixote Doflamingo, Corazon, Trafalgar D. Law, Baby 5, Dellinger, Pika, Diamante, Trebol. Giolla, Monsieur Pink

✢a/n: the continuation for my "being part of their crew"-series. Next up are the Strawhat Pirates.
Tumblr media
Impressed by your actions, Doflamingo extended a hand, inviting you to join the crew. He recognized that your fervor to safeguard the youngest member of the crew could be harnessed to shape loyal soldiers, ready to uphold his reign of power.
Beyond your vigilant guardianship over Baby 5 and the other junior members, you embraced the role of an informant, delving deep into the shadows of the Underworld to procure valuable resources for Doflamingo's realm.
The tender yet resilient presence of Corazon became an anchor of support, his brotherly demeanor creating a haven for you. His scruffy yet tender disposition beckoned you into a realm of trust and camaraderie. With a shared love for cigarettes, you often retreated together to concealed corners of Spider Town. Amidst the veil of smoke, you exchanged stories and concerns, finding solace in his soothing presence. Corazon's patient guidance in learning Morse code paved the way for a unique means of communication—an unspoken language that became your secret conduit for sharing thoughts, emotions, and even stolen moments of levity.
Your connection with Doflamingo, though intricate, was marked by a shared ambition and the complexities of loyalty. Your allegiance to the Warlord manifested as unwavering dedication to his cause. As you delivered crucial intelligence to him, your strategic acumen proved invaluable in realizing his ambitions, fostering a sense of trust between you. His ability to draw you into a world of power and intrigue was both captivating and unsettling, a testament to the intricate tapestry of emotions he stirred.
As your bond with Corazon deepened, it introduced layers of conflict to your relationship with Doflamingo. The tension between your attachment to Corazon and your loyalty to Doflamingo created a dynamic that tested your resolve and blurred the lines between duty and desire.
Your rapport with Trebol, Pika, and Diamante often pivoted around cutting banter and sardonic repartee. Despite the trio's lack of moral grounding, their unwavering loyalty to the crew made it easy for you to look away, even in the face of their cold-blooded actions.
From time to time, you found yourself at the mercy of Monsieur Pink and Giolla's dress-up tendencies, amusing the whole crew with their fashion experiments on you.
During combat training with Baby 5, you witnessed the astonishing versatility of her body as she transformed it into an array of formidable weapons. Her tokens of affection, occasionally bordering on excess, were as unconventional as her affections, underscoring her profound regard for you since the day you saved her life.
Law's entry into the crew brought an unexpected shift to your daily life. The palpable aura of a young boy burdened by his hatred for the world and the specter of impending mortality resonated deeply with you. Your initial attempts at camaraderie saw you treading carefully, almost mirroring Corazon's fate of a knife to the back. However, your willingness to listen and offer a space for Law to share his concerns inspired confidence in his eventual integration within the crew.
The tragic demise of Corazon at the hands of his own brother cast ripples across your allegiance. Depending on your loyalty to Doflamingo and your evolving understanding of the family's dynamics, you faced the pivotal choice of persevering alongside them, marked by a pang of regret for Corazon's unfortunate trajectory, or extricating yourself from the family's grasp. Years later, you'd find yourself collaborating with Law to orchestrate a complex plot aimed at dismantling Doflamingo's rule, reflecting your resilience and strategic acumen.

UNDENIED SATISFACTION
g. impact — neuvillette fluff oneshot.
Tumblr media
▶SYPNOSIS. after the melusine threats came to a satisfactory conclusion, the iudex became overwhelmed with positive feelings, having you being a reason for one.
▶CONTENT. takes place after neuvillette's story quest, spoiler free, female reader, fluff, no usage of y/n, maybe suggestive, neuvillette crushing on you making him have an existential crisis, reader is a goddamn teasing bastard
Tumblr media
“melusines, are such beautiful creatures.”
“...miss kiara, was it?” you call out to the pink melusine, low with admiration.
“that- that's right! you know, you were absolutely close to quoting the iudex just now!” though shy and hesitant, she'd accept your invitation, giving you trust by placing her paw upon your palm.
the iudex huh? “is that right?” the pink melusine's spirits went and above, just inching closer to your welcoming nature, familiar, inviting and familial.
“then, he would already, no doubt be most fond of lovely beings such as you.”
“that would be correct,” deep. you thought upon hearing the voice that answered for the melusine.
you turn towards your shoulder, looking past to see what you had expected to have bland, dark and judge-like qualities, but he was more beautiful than what your mind had conjured.
so dignified, reserved, an elegance you don't see often in high-octane courts, or rather—for where you were hailed from. “ah, and you must be...”
“the subject of your discussion,” he'd answer as you were standing up, turning completely to his direction, letting go of the melusine's paw.
“the chief justice, the court judge of fontai...” his voice trails off, noticing himself about to ramble about while taking in your soft expression.
“forgive me, though given many titles by the people of this land, it would be most natural if you were to addressed me by the name i am known widely for,” so well spoken too.
you closed your eyes briefly, processing the sound that accompanied his words. it was nothing but pleasing to the ears, the same could go for his aesthetics, pleasant, too pleasant for the eyes to witness.
“it's my first,” you take his attention, stealing his glance from the melusine. “to see the iudex personally, and up close to be precise,” the iudex cannot make do with that vague statement, and it was a great pet peeve of his, not able to discern things if vague comments such as this were passed to him with a negative, or positive light.
“ah, so you already know of m—”
you bend a knee slightly, placing a hand towards the center of your chest, lowering your head, with a smile, and with only that, you would capture multiple attention, the hearts and minds of those around the fountaine of lucine.
and if he was able to, let him be apart of the said crowd. stirred with confusion, a steady beat that began to form a rhythm in his chest.
an outsider, both you and him. one was masked, hiding a primordial identity, and the other was presumably new to this land, foreign to dramatic concepts, views and hightened agriculture.
it was a long, long existence. a witness to countless of things, receive endless of things, but never, not once receive this form of respect, this, this very gesture of absolute high regard.
he was no archon, but you would deviate your self preservation to treat him as such?
“please, stand tall,” it was unlike him. you heard a dust of anxiousness, panic, and if this was disarm tactic, to let his guard down, it would be most very effective had it been a different situation.
“there is... absolutely no need of heavy formalities, be most assured, i'm not one to be receiving such a form of praise. the hydro archon, she, herself would be very pleased t—”
“the hydro archon...” you interrupt, now tilting your head up. your gaze, mirroring those that you see in fontaine's citizens, an unfiltered, open reverence only he can witness from afar.
seen only towards focalors.
“the begs a needed question then,” you sigh, eyes narrowed with a subtle disbelief.
“what makes you any lesser or any different than these archons, monsieur neuvillette?” you lower your head again, towards the pavement.
“you judge atrocities, bring out injustice in the form of words, a justice that only resorts to extreme measures if requirements are met—”
“—and unlike a few factions, nations, you continue to progress and maintain order, ordainding the pre-ordained,”
“your order brings out justice in the form of performances, inciting no wars, a form of execution, not by blade—but with immovable conviction,”
“relaying each syllable, sentence, coherent with a pre-determined decision through every, life changing verdict,” you stand up this time, now slowly returning your gaze back up to his, gleaming and determined.
two words of which he will use for the eyes that peer onto his, appraising him, his occupation, his actions that he has continuously, like a ritual, doubted throughout the ages of his longevity.
what is the iudex able to do at the current?
you shower him with words that are hidden as praise, compliments concealed in truths, speaking in familiar terms that reminded him of how a certain individual in the fortress of meropide came to berate—or rather eased his history with.
but to those who are well versed in discerning, to deconstruct letters that form sentences of positive and negative, your truths seemed as if you were declaring, profressing, relaying each act of truth with a voice, identified with nothing but affection.
to who were listening in silence, anyways.
but you would be most in luck, the iudex, being one of many intelligences, his knowledge in emotions, mental subjects, he wouldn't confess that his intellect on matters such as this one, would be on par to his refined, pre-historical wisdom.
and all the great iudex could do was process, process and process, think, think and think, thinking about your words accompanied with a certain tone he hasn't heard from, and processing the feelings of what lies within his mortal body.
“and so i ask again, what makes a difference wi—”
“—the difference... the difference would be,” he tries to interrupt the moment your mouth opens to speak again.
“the answer to your... question,” he hesitates, taking a brief glance towards the sky.
it was thundering.
just like something else underneath his chest.
neuvillette closes his eyes, taking a deep breath, then shortly returning his gaze towards yours, yours that were provoking, just daring him to try to refute your truthful statements.
honest, beautiful statements, the beautiful part he wanted to deny, deny and deny. “i am the chief justice of fontaine, i uphold law, i bring out what is necessary to the land of justice, to lay out the hydro archon's wishes, furina's ideals, it is only—”
“—your duty.” he would straighten himself, a slight disorientation to his pupils from you finishing his sentence. he will never, ever understand how humans are able to anticipate his words, and he will only hope that one day, he will be able to.
“oh, what things have you witness and heard from those that stir around you,” you say softly, with pity, moving towards the silent, little melusine once again, kneeling down as you lay your affections towards the creature, gently taking her paw, having her react positively, child-like.
“what things have you received, to the point where you deny you such deserving words,” the melusine perks up, her eyes glittering, excited towards you. “right!? monsieur neuvillette is so very highly regarded to us melusines!! it is truly absurb for him to not acknowledge our praise!!”
“shh, the iudex stands tall beside us, miss kiara.”
“oh,” you giggle to her sheepish demeanor, cooing her to reassurance, tending, motherly.
neuvillette, silent, glances down to the sight of mortal, and creature. you interacting with the little melusine, addressing her as equal, appreciating the creature's existence with little actions of affections, be it holding both of her hands, the way your eyes sparkle with fascination, sincerity.
“no no, i'm sure the chief justice won't put you in trial because of that,” you whisper, continuing to giggle, cupping the little melusine's furred cheeks.
“but- but i called him absurb!”
“hmm, should i also call him as such to accompany with you?” her eyes glisten with hope, the melusine lunging her little self forwards and tackling you in an embrace, muffling her soft wailing against your chest.
what was it. what is it.
what was the feeling inside his chest.
he didn't hate the feeling, but it wasn't exactly welcomed either. it was a feeling, similar to how you give a little infant the act of shock and joy by playing peek-a-boo with them, or having a sumeru citizen be invited and accepted into the akademiya with unbridled relief, and acceptance.
and all would be accompanied by confusion and fear, like stepping into a new continent, filled with unknown and uncertainty.
neuvillette, reserved, judgemental, and unapproachable. to the naked eye, he is obscure as he is enigmatic, and to the ones that have grown familiar with him outside being a court judge, it was his natural state of self, and it was his job to condemn, for he is judgement himself.
so the contradictions lie within him, feeling this way, letting a strange, external emotion he wasn't accustomed with, threaten his security, just gnawing at the depths towards his vulnerability.
after all, how could he?
how could he ignore pleasant feeling anyways?
the melusine takes a little peep past your shoulder, towards the iudex, and her eyes would widen slightly, witnessing the color of her own fur, mixed in with the fair radiance of his skin.
“t-the iudex,” a small, questioning 'hm?' you replied with, pulling back slightly, seeing the melusine have a constrasting reaction towards something.
your attention would follow where her own went, looking over your shoulder to an unexpected sight. your curious eyes settled quickly over his facial features, the expression he was giving the both of you.
a stoic expression, but with lips slightly parted, trembling, wanting to be pursed and closed, and peculiar, his eyes bore the same direction to yours but it was absent, lost in his own mind, disarrayed with current-like thoughts.
“he- he's coming up with a fever!!” the melusine squeals, assuming, latching onto your leg with you already stood up, and you were correct.
his gaze would remain lowered, unmoving, but what was most endearing was that color that suited his delicate features.
a fever? “monsieur... neuvillette?” curious, you bend your torso and knees down slightly, looking up to him, a hand swiftly moving the strands of hair to the back of your ear, just tugging it behind.
then the glint in his eyes return from the movement the met his sights, his irises, swiftly taking in a sudden display of your physiq—your eyes.
“i'm- ah,” he coughs into his fist, letting his hand prolong over a part of his face, keeping his blush at bay, attempting to regain composure.
“my sincerest, most wholehearted apologies, to the both of you for my behavior,” you straighten your back, hearing his reply, a hand moving down towards the back of the melusine's head, just easing her.
“don't be, i have that effect on people,” you said eerily, amused, and you don't think it was a fever causing that pretty blush over him right now.
“h-huh?” the melusine looks up to you, confused, mirroring neuvillette's expression as well.
“pay no mind,” you interrupt, glancing briefly between the two, before focusing the the iudex before you.
“are you alright, monsieur neuvillette?” you tilt your chin up only slightly, eyes squinted to his direction, giving him a smile, just giving it your all for it not to curl upwards and become wider, smug like how you were feeling right now.
you just couldn't just let him process anything.
the hydro dragon sovereign, attempting to adjust to your speech patterns, dealing with the certain tone of voice you carried along with that expression of yours, trying to process each word with that came from your mouth.
it was overwhelming, and it was good kind.
“...i will be,” he have to be. he answers after a few moments of silent observation, having trouble keeping his irises still for you.
“mhm?”
...what do you mean, 'mhm'?
did you want him to say more? did you need a longer response? were you expecting more? what were you thinking? why did you suddenly become so much more prettier than you were previously?
what was it that made your gesture of respect more attractive? what was it that was making him eager to receive more from you praise from you?
it was no different to a bow. it was no different to something that was considered as respectful towards a reverent being, but considering your tone, your body language, your demeanor?
he won't allow himself to meet your gaze again.
he can't—because when his eyes reach yours, disorder thrives, increasing his jumbled thoughts, disturbing whatever he was about to say.
disorder being the very thing that he tries with absolutely hardship to avoid for the people of fontaine, for focalors, and soon he would find himself wanting to be in said order. an inevitable order that he will continue to maintain.
at the least right now—attempt to anyways.
“pretty little melusine,” you turn your head, down towards the pink creature, your hand finding solace in her hair of fluff. “ah, y-yes my lady?”
“i'm more than sure that the great chief justice would pardon your comment once you return to your duties,” you catch the brief contact of his eyes from your peripheral upon mention of him again.
“miss kiara, ever so diligent, dutiful, and so high in spirits, why would the monsieur neuvillette offer you an unjust sentence—” your hands move, raising the pink melusine towards the sky, causing her to yelp, a soft giggling following after suit.
“—when the iudex has nothing but love in his eyes for your kind,” his eyes softened at the sight, having you so bliss and carefree, towards something he has strived to honor and protect for several hundred years.
love, was it?
love. is that what he was feeling?
yes? no? was it love? can you call it love? is it related to it? is he capable of something that only strengthens his complexity? he, being an existence already with labored with mystery.
“i- well, you're right—but!” the pink melusine flails in your grasp, squirming to be put down from the growing embarassment she began to have.
“he is still the chief! the iudex!” that's right.
“it- it is only right if i receive the equal amount of justice, calling him a name unbefitting of someone of high status! it is disrespect! it is—”
unbecoming. incomprehensible. complicated.
“—not an issue, nor it is within the scriptures of law, and written code of conduct,” neuvillette takes a step or two forwards to the both of you, a faint, tempted smile almost visible, just teasing the corners of his lips.
“it... is not a crime to formulate an opinion,”
but so are humans, being unable to completely understand themselves.
just like his circumstances.
“miss kiara, let it be known, that no very corners of this land, will ever restrict you and others from expressing thought, the very thing that binds the mortality together, being an aboriginal foundation of... understanding towards one another,” you see a glimmer in his eyes, his stoicism accompanied with a subtle fondness.
“that would be the very definition of unjust itself, something i, the iudex of fontaine, the usurper of order—will not tolerate and stand watch with irreverence,” the melusine grows silent along with you, placing her down carefully, growing steady in her footing.
“you are wonderful,” you break the brief silence with an adoring sigh, soft and tender, causing a minor shudder to the complimented iudex, as if he was experiencing thought and behavioral patterns similarly like a revelation, a discovery.
wonderful.
wonderful? for doing his measly duties? for giving structure to the deconstructed? for pursuing a system of commandments that are naturally acquainted for, in a world where it is needed?
can someone, anyone really call duty, wonderful?
having what was natural for him, being percevied as something close to beauty, and borrowing the pink melusine's words, he would find it absurb.
it was only his duty, he is undeserving, he is only nothing but—“shining,” you add, catching his attention once more.
shining. “...with all due possible and greatest respect, it is only a duty that allows—”
“—let me, allow myself to make this as... monosyllabic as possible,” you interrupt, now striding to him, the sounds of your footing making each thock while you encircle the iudex slowly.
“i do not foster much care, in whatever trifling, innermost matter you have, brewing from within that... well-cared pretty face of yours,” you sigh, stopping just behind the iudex, allowing him to subtly look over his shoulder towards you.
you say that, but you would be lying to yourself if you didn't care completely, seeing that slight disoriented shift, notable in his brows.
“but most beloved chief justice, take into precise consideration, that denying another's thoughts is... close to averting your gaze, feigning ignorance to someone's testimony of you,”
he turns around. panic, panic and panic. “what—”
“i jest,” you clasp your hands together to the side of your face in an instant, humming in delight.
“hmhm, i exaggerate, monsieur neuvillette,” you take in his turbulent expressions with delight, ranging from panicked, to troubled, to confusion?
was it contempt? was it hassling to him? did he not know what to make do of this behavior you were introducing to him?
“pft- i'm sorry—archons pardon my lack of etiquette,” you stifle your soft chuckling with your knuckle over your lips.
“you are as firm as the pillars that holds over multiple architectures within fontaine, it's—”
“it's...” huh? your hearty laughter dies down, both lids parting wide as you witness the iudex's facial features.
“ah,” the word escapes from you from observation of the iudex, his cheeks once again, imitating the color of the melusine, a color more passionate than before, a half-opened gaze struggling to maintain the mutuality of eye contact, having a gloved hand move, knuckles pressed against most of his lips.
with irony, what surprised you was not the unmistakable presence of the red in his face, nor the rattle in his composure—no, it was the the fact that you began to mirror him immediately.
he looked so, so beautiful. and it was enough to shake your core, bringing two hands to your chest, cradling the quickening thump in the center. “i-...” you tease too much, and it was no surprise it would backfire, eventually.
the pink melusine glances between the two of you with great confusion, a worry quickly plaguing her. “this... this fever is contagious!” she blurts out, just loud enough for the people in the sidelines, stirring as slight commotion.
also just enough to snap the both of you back to reality. “no- no, no no,” you say with urgency, kneeling to the pink melusine.
“miss- miss kiara, i think it'd be best if i give the iudex my regards and take my leave,”
the iudex clears his throat, looking away, avoiding your direction—which only results to letting his flushed cheeks, ears, become more visible to you.
it was so red. such a pretty color.
“i hope,” he returns his gaze to yours again, letting you see that polite, yet lively smile, it being the cherry on top to his expression.
“you enjoy your stay within fontaine, my lady,” his simplicity attracts you again, letting you slowly connect your views together again.
“and i am...—thank you, for such kind, and generous words, i would be untruthful, deceiving if i said i didn't quite enjoy your sincerity for me, letting me sit on your throne of recognition, being held in such high, high esteem to you,”
“...is that your way of saying that you wish to hear more from me, monsieur neuvillette?”
“mh,” the lump in his throat doesn't allow him to utter anything in reply, eyes widening in reaction to that tone of teasing again.
you stand up, facing towards him completely once more, your eyes gleaming in delight.
“i would love nothing more.”

"Messsie Axolot"
I saw a little boy trying to write the word "Monsieur" as he heard it.... It was quite adorable actually. He wrote “Messsie” and that's where this came from.

sum: you're getting double teamed by zhongli and neuvillette while they're in heat.. have fun :]
a/n: i tried something new with this one, please lmk if you liked it!
pairing: zhongli x gn!reader x neuvillette
cws: sub + bottom!reader, established polyamorous relationship, tongue fucking, creampie, major size difference (because dragons big), desperate dragons in heat, slight degrading at one point, possessiveness
<< minors and ageless blogs dni! >>
Tumblr media
you sat in place, feeling the muscles of two serpentine tails tensing and relaxing as they coiled around you. the surrounding air of the nest was warm and dense with the longing breaths of dragons. dragons in heat.
your mates.
since the former archon, zhongli, had come to spend more time with you and neuvillette in fontaine, it seemed that his and neuvillette’s mating cycles had.. synced up? you weren’t exactly sure of the details. all you knew was that your two dragon partners were having to share the same nest and the same mate, while their heats made them increasingly territorial and needy. and it’d caused them to need to.. re-evaluate some terms in your group contract.
“um.. have you two decided on anything?” you watched the two dragons conversing in hushed tones, sometimes snarling, sometimes glancing over at you with a visible need, before continuing their discussion. surely they had reached some sort of conclusion as for what to do with you by now..?
zhongli turned from neuvillette to flash you a hazy smile, a quick departure from the zhongli of just a moment ago. “i believe so, my dear.”
though he would never willingly hurt you or neuvillette, he could be quite the unpredictable character during his heat; if his mere survival of and achievements during the archon war were anything to show for it, he was more than the kindly, strangely knowledgeable yet somewhat ditzy secretary of the wangsheng funeral parlor that many knew him as. he dipped down from where he had been looming aside neuvillette and muttered a short, “if you’d allow me,” before nudging his snout at your thighs. his jaw parted slightly to let his pink tongue flick over his mouth, giving you a glimpse of his long, yellowed fangs.
his rolling mane was soft and ticklish as he settled over you. “i allow you,” you parroted slowly, and the geo dragon spared you a brief, doting look with bleary golden eyes, before he dove in for more.
you immediately felt yourself clenching up as his warm tongue squeezed between your cheeks to lap at the rim of your hole, stretching it out for him to use as he pleased. you could feel his jaw working under you, the rough scales on his muzzle rubbing against your legs as you instinctively started grinding against him. he let out a deep, resounding groan that shook the air as you started to ride his face.
and you were not unaware of monsieur neuvillette’s eyes on you. the hydro dragon followed your movements with blown out, iridescent eyes as you bounced on zhongli’s snout. his glossy jaws were parted, with dribblets of saliva starting to dangle like ice crystals from his lip, and his jaw hung lower each time zhongli’s tongue slipped deeper into you. each time you snapped your hips, and rolled them back to draw zhongli in further. you figured they really must have agreed on something, because as much as neuvillette seemed to want to jump in and lap you up himself, he stayed put in his corner of the nest.
“neuvillette?”
your sweet voice had him bristling where he sat, as if it were a siren’s song, and he was the all too eager sailor about to rush into the throes of the ocean at your beckon call. though something seemed to have penetrated his heat-driven state of mind, giving him pause for a moment; he sank unceremoniously back into place. “um, we’ve agreed to.. take turns.”
“..oh..”
meanwhile, something in zhongli seemed to have snapped. overwhelmed with the scent of you, his tongue rasped more aggressively. he started fucking his tongue deeper and faster into your hole, as if it was him who needed to cum.
some part of you had to wonder if this was his way of guiding your attention back to him. though you couldn’t focus on much else besides the arousal building in your gut.
the forked tongue stirring in your insides, with plunging, circular motions that encouraged what felt like a tight coil in your gut to turn loose. the dogged look neuvillette was giving you as he waited, a voyeur watching his partner as you tensed and shook. zhongli’s name squeezed out of your pretty lips, and a sparse hovel of grey clouds formed over his crested head, though no water fell; with his jaw taut and his eyes bleary, his frilly ‘paws’ tucked under his chest, you decided morose longing was a beautiful look on him.
at some point you couldn’t hold back any more; trembling and tensed, you spurted cum down your legs, drenching the geo dragon’s beautiful, stone-coloured scales. though it wasn’t that way for long; you felt zhongli shift under your legs as he hurried to lick his chops dry of every drop of you. his pink tongue sometimes curled over your thigh, in his rush.
out of the corner of your eye, you notice a large blurr – neuvillette diving for some of your arousal that had escaped zhongli’s notice and dripped onto the floor. immediately zhongli’s muzzle curled with a low, guttural snarl he poised at the hydro dragon, his slender haunches rising. to your surprise, neuvillette scrambled backward; well, it was both surprising and almost unnatural to see both the grand iudex of fontaine and a dragon not designed for environments outside of the ocean to move in such a manner. his grand, leafy fins slapped on the floor like a seal’s flippers.
“zhongli,” you chided half-heartedly, sort of amused and still coming down from your high.
the geo dragon let out a long chuff in response; he bent to gently lower you off his nose, onto his coils that covered the ground below, and pressed the side of his head to the floor, to savor what was left of your cum with long, greedy licks.
you watch with a slight amused grin. he’s an old man, but he still acts like this.
you turn to beckon neuvillette over apologetically, though he doesn’t appear to hear you.
the statuesque hydro dragon was staring down his nose, fixated on the cum that was sparsely trickling from between your legs and creating a small wet spot on the floor. ah.
you felt blood starting to pool in your crotch once again, just from the yearning, desirous.. obvious way he was looking at you. his slit pupils blown wide, his scaly head drawn so low to the ground that his fluorescent blue antennae brushed against it. wordlessly pleading for you to let him in
perhaps he needed to hear your invitation again. he was distracted the last time

“don’t let such high praises go to waste, my neuvillette. our mate clearly can’t focus, with how you’re stretching their soft, human hole to full capacity, getting it ready for me.” a rumbly, possessive growl emerged in the last of zhongli’s words, lending him an alluringly dangerous quality.
neuvillette slurred above you; his mind was far away. “nh.. so full for me, my love..” his tail wrapped attentively around the bulge in your stomach that his cock was causing. a broody trill escaped his throat, and you panted, enamored with his little noise.
“you look divine, when you’re at a loss for words~” zhongli’s smooth, sultry voice had somehow deepened to a point you’d seldom heard it reach before. you could tell he was deep in the sauce now
and you could only imagine the scene he was enjoying. merely picturing the sight of dragon cock splitting through your thighs was enough to have you tensing up, head reeling
your drool collected on the coil below you, as you forgot everything but what you felt. as your body worked hard to accommodate the tip of one of the hydro dragon’s heavy, shark-like cocks, and your mind honed in on his rhythmically plying out a ways and then nestling deeper inside you with each twist of his long, muscular body. the pressure of his cock weighing against the soft flesh of your opening, and the brush of his scales against your inner thighs stimulating you further
your body ached from anticipation, with your only thoughts crying for more, more more, though you weren’t exactly sure how much you could take. this was your first heat spent together; it’d usually be you visiting one dragon or the other during their respective nesting days.
neuvillette’s labored breaths fanned over the back of your head, like the gusts of an ocean wind. you sensed your vision growing bleary, and a tension accumulating within you; a strong wave of your own arousal sent you for a loop, and you felt neuvillette’s strong coils shudder around you in response, minutely tightening their grip. and you heard neuvillette let out a strangled whelp when he finally let himself go, when he allowed thick ropes of his cum to plunge into your insides, dousing you with sudden warmth.
a thick ring of neuvillette’s cum quickly formed around the base of his dick, but before he could overwhelm his small human partner with the sheer amount of cum dragons tended to produce, he carefully slid out, and let the rest of it flow under your stomach.
or, more accurately, he suddenly had the mind to slide out.. he was rather enjoying the sensation of being milked to the brim by you, and his mind, in its most relaxed and instinct-driven state, told him to hoard what he loved – what was his.
having taken his load, you were assumed in the scent of the hydro dragon; you were markedly his
and you could tell it was making zhongli antsy, because scarcely had neuvillette pulled out when you felt the geo dragon’s paw padding over your back. cum was still pouring out of you, and his talons curled around your trembling figure, securing you in his grasp so he could draw you towards him.
you wriggled weakly in his clutch, managing a strained, breathless, “it's too much,” when the geo dragon let out something akin to a warning hiss. “our contract agreement was to take turns, my dear.”
his whiskers brushed like soft mist against your cheeks as he hung his head low, to address you. his proximity to you punctuating his words.
“and you’ve agreed, to assist us until we’re satisfied.
shouldn’t we adhere to that?”

tw - fem!reader, emotional manipulation, possessive behavior, prolonged imprisonment.
“Mistress prisoner?”
There was a knock, the sound of hoofed feet shuffling against a tile floor. You shrunk into yourself, suddenly thankful you’d chosen to take such a claustrophobic linen closet to seek refuge in, that Neuvillette’s awful gowns provided so much fabric for you to bury yourself in.
“Mistress prisoner? Are you alright?”
Another knock, a round of hushed whispering. Clearly, he’d sent more than one, this time.
“Should we get a healer for you, mistress?”
You swore under your breath, burying your face in your knees. Curse your bleeding heart.
Slowly, taking pains to wipe the lingering tears from your cheeks without wrinkling the fine silk of your sleeve, you pushed yourself to your feet. He was a bastard of a man, an underhanded thief masquerading as the living embodiment of justice, but tragically, Neuvillette had caught on to the only weakness you had in this palace of unearned punishments and hollow promises. You would be able to bear it if he thought of you as a petulant child, too stubborn to accept his protection or his love, but you couldn’t bring yourself to be quite so heartless when it came to the melusines.
You pulled the door open, resting your shoulder against the frame. He’d sent three, this time – all wearing modified garde uniforms and none standing taller than your waist. They were clustered close together, but as you emerged, the centermost girl stepped forward, this one totting pastel pink skin and curling horns and cheeks you’d give anything to squeeze. “We spoke with Monsieur Neuvillette,” she started, clearly shy despite having appointed herself as the leader of their little group. When she paused, her gaze fell away from yours, dropping to her feet. “He said you wouldn’t mind if we asked why you don’t want to attend the opera with us, tonight.”
Oh, you were going to throttle that old man.
You forced yourself to smile. No part of you wanted to be seen in public with your captor, to hear onlookers praise his kindness, his willingness to care for even the most irredeemable of criminals while knowing he wouldn’t make it past the first aria before finding some reason to pull you into some unused dressing room and abuse his authority yet again. But, explaining the length of your hatred to the creatures he showed so much fondness toward would be like trying to tell a child that their favorite candy was the source of their aching cavities. You were better off saving your breath. “Neuvillette didn’t mention that you’d be coming with us.”
“It was supposed to be a surprise.” It was the blue one, this time – with flowers dotted across her arms and legs and a tone so meek, it was all you could do not to take her into your arms and promise her that you’d go to as many operas as she could stand to attend. “He said it’d help to raise your spirits.”
You let out a soft coo, crouching down to their height. “It was a very sweet idea,” you said, fighting not to melt at the sight of their little, doe-like noses and big, star-filled eyes. “And I very much appreciate that you three would care enough to try and cheer me up. It’s only…”
You paused, clicked your tongue. Predictably, the third member of their little trio (who had yet to uncross her arms or drop her adorably pointed glare) chimed in. “What is it? We don’t have all day, y’know.”
“Well, I might not be at my best, but Monsieur Neuvillette’s been awfully lonely lately too.” Lonely – that was one way to put it. It was hard to imagine he’d even be capable of feeling anything so fundamentally human. “I’m afraid, if I’m having so much fun with all of you, he might feel a little left out. You can understand why I wouldn’t want to do that to him, can’t you?”
There was a round of nodding heads, of words of affirmation. The leader piped up first, both hands balled into fists and wide eyes bright with a resilient spark. “We won’t let Monsieur Neuvillette get lonely!”
“We won’t leave his side!”
“We’ll stick to him like glue!”
With a breath of a laugh, you pulled the little trio into your arms and press a kiss into the tops of their heads. “That’s exactly what I wanted to hear, girls. I’ll see you at the opera house tonight, and remember–“
This time, you didn’t have to fake your smile.
“Don’t let Neuvillette go a moment without your delightful company.”

“You make me ill.”
Neuvillette’s words pierce through your heart like daggers. His orchid eyes stare you down and indicate absolutely nothing; his sudden confession left you in a circle between shock and confusion.
The words spread throughout your body like poison, but in reality you’re only staring back at him. The hurt starts to become visible on your face, but your mouth seems to be unable to let out a noise; yet, the voice in your head yells and begs to know the answer as to why.
You clutch the rainbow rose he brought you close to your chest, being the first to take your eyes off him. You look at the ground, feeling the familiar clump in your throat that starts to form.
Neuvillette has been feeling sick as of late. Or at least, that’s what he thought - well, what else could explain that he feels his temperature rise, his heart beating so fast it could escape his chest, making even his voice tremble? “No, this cannot be-“ Neuvillette thought frantically, massaging his temples, “It’s time for a professional to evaluate.”
Though, as expected - the doctor was of no help. She giggled to herself, “I apologize, monsieur Neuvillette, I’m afraid I can’t help in this case. I can assure you however, you’re perfectly healthy.” The chief of justice felt the uncomfortable feeling of embarrassment, but thanked the doctor and left the room.
After yet another trial where Neuvillette seemed to be somewhere else with his thoughts, Furina confronted him with a tinge of annoyance in her voice. The white haired man could only mutter a thing, that he does not feel well; at the sound of his pathetic excuse, Furina stood up from her seat furiously, throwing her hands in the air, “You aren’t sick, fool! You’re in love!”The hydro archon’s cheeks flushed a slight pink at her own statement, but she was no match for her subordinate; she pushed the sudden bashfulness away, “n-now, do something about it immediately! I will not tolerate it in the courtroom any longer!” Furina crossed her arms and sat down again, furrowing her brows and watching the empty seats below her.
Seeing you divert your eyes away, Neuvillette’s expression softened significantly, his line of sight mimicking yours and shifting to a nearby bench.
“Why?”
Neuvillette blinks quickly, his eyelashes batting at you in surprise, “Come again? What do you mean?”
“Why do you hate me?”
He could feel the boiling hot feeling spreading through his body, although not a pleasant one. His eyes widened at you and his lips parted ever so slightly - but Neuvillette could only hear his heart beating so fast, beating to the rhythm of worry and uncertainty.
Before he could react properly, he saw a small tear dripping down your cheek, onto the cold pavement.
But his body moved without thinking.
He cups your cheeks gently with his gloved hands and moves your head up, just enough so you could look at him. His thumbs wipe your tears off your face, sighing deeply and finally speaking the real deal.
“You… make my heart race. It beats ungodly fast whenever I lay my eyes on you. You’ve been occupying my thoughts for many months, and even if I try to think about anything else - I cannot bring myself to do it, because it all comes back to you. I can’t… stop thinking about you, I can’t stop myself from admiring your ravishing beauty, I want you-“
“Wait!” You yell just enough to make him stop, both of you avoiding each other’s gazes and blushing bright red, but his hands stayed firmly on your face, no longer drying off tears, but caressing the apples of your cheeks he gently, “if that’s how you feel, then why…? Why did you say it like that?” For what it feels like first time in forever, you look into his gorgeous eyes that resemble the finest amethyst.
“I… I apologize, I didn’t want you to misunderstand me,” Neuvillette gasps slightly when he feels your delicate palms on his own hands, “but I truly mean it - I…”
Your breath hitches in your throat; the butterflies in your stomach don’t seem to help, but the anticipation has you almost shaking.
“I love you.”
Neuvillette can’t describe the weight that’s been lifted off his shoulders; but the sinking sensation in his stomach of not knowing what will happen next is making him nervous more than anything. When more tears meet his hands yet again, he fears for the worst.
“It’s alright, please do not shed any more tears because of me. I’m happy enough to have said it,” except, he doesn’t. He feels his heart break in half, getting filled by nothing but a void of emptiness.
The clouds become gloomy - looks like it’s going to rain later.
Just as his hands slide down and he begins to turn away, you reach out for his arm and grab it, causing him to spare you one, last look.
“Wait! I’m sorry, don’t go… I love you too, silly.” You manage to murmur the last few words loud enough that he could hear.
Neuvillette can’t believe it’s actually happening. He appears stunned for a minute, watching you in disbelief, but then a genuine smile graces his lips; his hands play with your fingers and silently ask to be intertwined with yours. When your interlaced hands give him a small squeeze, he gives you the softest, most lovesick look with his eyes that no one could ever imagine.
He places a quick kiss on your forehead and leans against it. Neuvillette’s eyes close for a moment, absorbing the fleeting moment.
It doesn’t take long before the chief of justice pushes your chin up with his fingers, his thumb brushing your lower lip, awaiting for your answer, “Can I, ma chérie?”
It only takes seconds for him to finally lock your lips together, and he wishes to feel that tenderness forever from this day forward.
Neuvillette certainly has to learn a bit more about expressing feelings - now, with your help.
The golden sun returns to adorn the clear skies once more.

neuvillette x afab!reader
the first time neuvi experiences the feeling of your pretty mouth<3
warnings: 18+ MINORS DNI, oral (male receiving hehe), cum eating
Tumblr media
neuvillette had never considered pleasure such as this; your delicate lips pressing kisses over the bulge in his boxers the moment you had unzipped his slacks enough to get to it. his cock was already aching at your light touch and the heat of your breath through the little fabric that separated you spread through his entire body quickly. he had not known this to be something that humans indulged in or that you would be so eager as to do so in his office when stopping by to visit him at work but your dear monsieur neuvillette was never one to deny you.
heavy lashes darken the violet eyes that stare down at you on your knees in front of hin, nestled between his thighs, your own sparkling orbs unable to leave the impressive length that you reveal upon freeing him from his fabric confines. of course you knew how big he was. it wasn’t the first time you had been intimate together but the sight of his devine cock, long and thick with a pretty pink tip, always made your mouth water and right now you found that to be especially true.
before you could move further however, the familiar texture of his gloves brushes against the underside of your chin and with such tenderness he lifts your gaze to his. sunlight pours in from the windows and illuminates him in a soft glow, the rosiness of his cheeks unmistakable on his pale skin and so striking against the swirling purple of his primal, loving, eyes.
“you are breathtaking, my love.”
if you weren’t flushed under his attention before it was certainly evident that you were now with how his words affected you, adorably shy for someone so needy on their knees before him. his honest and sweet words made your heart beat uncontrollably and you nuzzle into the large hand still lifting your chin before slipping from his grasp to do what you had been so desperate to do.
the way the air left his lungs the moment your tongue licked up the underside of his cock, flat and hot, right along a pretty vein that ran straight up to his flushed tip, was enough to have your pussy clenching around nothing and the taste of him only added to the wetness that damped your panties.
he wants to speak, tell you how good you feel but the back of his gloved hand on his mouth trying to stifle the groans rumbling from his chest keeps him from getting any words out. and when your delicate hand grabs the base of cock to give you a better angle to envelope his tip between your lips, slowly -inch by inch taking him until he hits the back of your throat, he does not know if can speak at all.
your throat tight around him, the heaviness of him on your tongue, his precum melting against your tastebuds and sticking in your mouth. he had indeed never experienced this type of pleasure and was so very in love with the sweet whimpers you let out as you seemed to be enjoying this as well.
his was fixated on you, pupils thin slits in the lavender glow of his eyes taking in every bit of you. the squeeze of your legs looking for friction. the wetness of the side of your lips and hand that pumps what you can not fit in your mouth. your other hand holding tightly onto his muscular thigh, just above where the tops of his boot rested. the flutter of your eyelashes with each intoxicating motion of your hollowed cheeks and eager tongue.
with a deep, primal, groan you feel him pulse in your hand and against the tip of your tongue when, after taking him as deep as you could, you pull away for a moment of air, your mouth messy with webs of precum and salvia. he doesn’t miss the sinful sight or the way it makes him greed to taste you too despite having just learned of this.. activity.
even needing air isn’t enough to pull you completely from him, not when it was this addicting to have him like this. through the deep breaths you took you continued to kiss the length of him, swirl the pad of your thumb over his leaking slit, licking him teasingly that gave a growl to his tone.
“mhm- i would appreciate your good behavior darling.”
“i can’t help myself,” you pout, undoubtedly cock drunk but you didn’t care how evident it was, loving how he reacts to you but stopping your fleeting touches to give him proper attention, kissing and sucking his tip, cashmere soft, coating your lips in him.
instinct led him to bury a hand into your hair, first moving back the tresses that had escaped from their place behind your ear, his heart skipping far too many beats at your honied hums when you lean into his touch and pump his dick thrice before taking him in your warm mouth once more.
his fingers flex in your hair, a light tug that would never hurt you falling in time with a groan of your name from the esteemed chief justice who was losing himself at your ministrations. with each attentive lick and swallow of his length, each time you try to take him deeper a small choke contracting around his cock followed by a muffled moan, he grew closer and closer to his release.
with the way you bobbed up and down on him, he can’t help but throw his head back, looking away for the first time since you got on your knees, cascades of long white spilling over the edges of his seat. his fingers tangle further into your own hair and his hips rocks lightly in sync with your movements. deep, hot, breaths turn into a rumble within the depths of his chest as he spills his cum down your throat, plentiful and thick, unable to hold back a single drop with how well you take him and suck him through his orgasm.
amethyst eyes find you before you can pull off of him completely with a pop, though hazy post orgasm bliss watching the string of saliva and cum that still connects you break and make your lips glisten in a mix of you both that he’s quick to taste. his tongue is on your lips before you have even calmed down yourself, powerful hands cradling your face with gentleness despite how desperate his kiss is with him hovering about you. you whimper as his tongue slides into your mouth and claims you desperately, like the taste of him on your tongue was the nourishment he’d been needing for so long.
“neuvillette~” you say breathlessly against his lips when he pulls away to allow you a moment to breathe but your mind is full of nothing but him, how badly you need him and love him and couldn’t bear to be apart from him, not an inch.
he knew, feeling very much the same and kisses you passionately in reply, devouring and swallowing every little murmur you give him. he continues his kisses while helping you to your feet without breaking from you, strong arms being your strength when your knees feel numb but you’re hardly standing for more than a moment before he pulls you into his lap. bangs white as snow and soft as feathers tickling your face at this proximity, your arms wrap around his neck and his embrace tightening around you as if you were not close enough already when he speaks against your lips.
“when i taste you, will you call my name then as well?”

the five times neuvillette knew he loved you
warnings: minor 4.2 spoilers, female reader, major fluff minus a sad neuvi who needs comforting in one part
▶ i recommend listening to the song till forever falls apart by ashe and finneas while reading this chapter <3
Tumblr media
The first instance was when he saw you making a routine out of regularly interacting amongst the Melusine with nothing but care, practically treating them like your own children. The Melusine are virtually your favorite people in Fontaine, besides him of course. You’re always sure to greet them, never messing up their pronouns, and giving them presents on their birthdays. It is also a common occurrence for you to give them handmade lunches. The first time Neuvillette saw you in the Palais Mermonia, giving Sedene a handmade lunch his heart swelled with affection for you, the sweetest person he has ever had the privilege of meeting. He watched you in admiration, speculating that this feeling in his chest must be love developing for you.
Secondly, is how you taste water with him despite how silly everyone thinks it is. You never fail to cooperate with tasting different waters, assuring him that you can in fact taste the difference, even going so far as to pick a favorite to make him happy by participating in his hobby. You even created a hierarchy ranking system just to rank which waters you like, and which you don’t. Neuvillette loves when you engage in the hobby of water tasting with him, and he thinks he’d wouldn’t rather share this with anyone else but you, because no one else is more worthy of drinking the more expensive speciality bottled waters he has. He thinks, “Maybe I love her and that is why I wish so much to share my hobby with her?”
Thirdly, was the first time you bid him goodbye when he left for work in the morning. He had spent the night at your house for the first time as well, and waking up to you the next morning was almost the sweetest part of everything that happened. You practically begged him to stay for the day, to blow off work- even though you know he really can’t. He could not help but giggle over how clingy you are in the morning, after you’ve just woken up. This already had warm feelings stirring within him, but then… when he was about to head for the door, that is what had his heart wanting to burst out of his chest. You stopped him before he walked out, kissing him on the cheek and fixing his crooked collar. The moment was so sweet and domestic. He felt heat rising on his cheeks as you walked him out the door telling him that you’d bring him lunch later. As he walked the rest of the way to the Palais Mermonia, his thoughts were only filled with you, replaying that moment in his head and thinking, “is this what love truly feels like?”
Fourthly, was when Charlotte asked him about you during an interview. Charlotte finally got that interview she wanted with Neuvillette, and she just had to get the hottest scoop on him. She asked him many work related related questions, but she couldn't not ask him about you after she saw the two of you together- she needs a good story! She asked him, “So, Monsieur Neuvillette, I saw you at the cafe with a woman a few days ago, care to tell me who that was?” and Neuvillette’s face immediately lights up at the mention of you, he goes, “oh, that is my beloved…” He practically goes on a rant saying sweet things about you, but he catches what he is doing and cuts himself off with a clearing of his throat as his face starts to go pink. Charlotte is standing there smiling at him widely and she says to him, “You sure seem to like her a lot don’t you?” Neuvillette does not hesitate to answer, “yes, I think it is safe to say I like her a lot, perhaps I am even growing to love her…” knowing it will be the top story in the Steambird newspaper within a few days that Fontaine’s one and only chief justice has found a lover.
The fifth and final instance was the first time you comforted him after a hard trial. Since the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale is no longer working due to recent events, he has taken charge of deciding people's verdicts on his own. Which, as you can imagine, is a draining task- especially when a criminal’s charges are of a sensitive matter. One day, after a particularly hard case, that hurt him to have to sentence the person as guilty… all he wanted was to be in your company. He showed up at your doorstep in the pouring rain, his clothes soaked completely through. Of course, you immediately rushed him inside and gave him a change of clothing. While he was changing, you threw a pot of tea on the stove for him- and he couldn’t be more thankful for you. He quietly drank his tea in your company to warm up after being chilled to the bone from rain soaked clothing, and you stayed with him not forcing him to talk about what was wrong until he was ready. When he was ready to talk, he tugged you along to your bed to cuddle with you. For once, you held him as he spilled his hardships from the day, the rain outside never letting up; however, he quickly settled into the comfort you gave him, growing to feel at ease- and that is when he knew. He loves you, with every fiber of his being. So, he finally says, “I love you with all my heart.” and all you can do is reply that you feel the same, holding him tighter.

Trial By Combat - 6
Requested By: No one. Original Work
CW: manipulation?
Summary: Arlecchino’s got a secret…
Note: You all asked and I will provide! Here’s part six <3 this chapter is a bit slow but I promise it’s leading up to something great!
Part One —> Part Five
Tumblr media
-
Fontaine, for the most part, had finally begun to go back to normal. Although no trials have been held since the Creators trial, many shops have reopened their doors to the public once more. It’s as if Fontainians want to disregard the event entirely, treating it as a work of fiction like the Prophecy. However, this doesn’t stop The Steambird from posting every single update regarding the Creator, nor does it stop every copy from selling out.
Despite the lack of trials, it hasn’t prevented the Chief Justice from sending criminals to the Fortress of Meropide, and only hours from now, Paimon and Aether would be a part of the group sent there. The two were the only customers dining at Cafe Lutece this afternoon, the owner seemed almost eager to provide the gluttonous amount of food the duo had ordered.
“Oh Paimon is feeling a bunch of nerves right now and it’s just making her more hungry.” She whines while rubbing her stomach. “I’m just hoping that the food in the Fortress is actually tasty.”
Aether lets out a soft chuckle, “it’s a prison Paimon. I doubt that the food will be any good”
Paimon pouts crossing her arms. “Hopefully will be rightfully compensated for our due diligence. Oh! Maybe even something from the Creator themselves!”
The traveler gives her a look, “you shouldn’t think like that Paimon, not when they are currently missing right now.”
The travel guide immediately covers her lips, muttering out a small apology.
“Speaking of the Creator,” Paimon says, “do you really think Childe might know something? I mean, we’ve heard how he’s talked about them before.”
It was true, during their time in Liyue when they had met Childe, he had expressed how heavily he revered the Creator. Not just him, all of the harbingers they’ve met have mentioned the Creator in a positive light. Aether even recalls when the Wanderer told him that the only thing all of the harbingers could agree on was their ultimate respect for them.
“Based off our interactions with the Fatui before, they might have some respect for Their Grace. But we still have no idea why they want the Gnosis, maybe it’s connected to the Creator.”
Paimon nods in agreement. “You’re right. If the gnosis are what connect the Archons to Celestia, then maybe the Creator has something similar?”
“Hopefully if the Fatui got their hands on Their Grace, they haven’t left Fontaine yet. We should still be able to rescue them.” Aether adds.
“Paimon hopes so too! Oh I can only imagine the type of horrors they could be putting them through!”
“Are you talking about Their Grace?!”
A familiar girl with a pink bob holding a camera in her head pops out of a bush quickly approaching the table. It was Charlotte, and she had a large smile on her face.
“Do you two have any nuggets of information about Their Grace? Oh please share it with me, I’ll make it worth your while!”
Paimon and Aether share a look before looking back at the journalist.
“We don’t have any new information on The Creator.” Paimon explained, “we didn’t even know they had returned until Monsieur Neuvillette told us.”
Charlotte makes a look of surprise, “wait seriously? It was such big news! I’m sure everyone in Teyvat wrote the piece I had written.”
Charlotte places her camera on the table taking a seat across from them. “I’m just hoping for Their Grace to have a speedy recovery. I would love to interview them if they let me, it just seems like all of the big names in Fontaine never have the time for an interview. Monsieur Neuvillette and the Duke of Meropide have been on the top of my list for ages now!”
“Oh right, you’re a journalist Charlotte! ” Paimon exclaimed, “do you have an information about the Duke?”
Charlotte ponders for a moment, “not really, just the same regurgitated information I get from people who leave the Fortress. Why do you ask?”
“We actually are going to the Fortress later today.” Aether answers.
Charlotte’s eyes get as big as saucers as she’s jumping in her seat. “You two are going to the Fortress?! Will you two please get some information about the Duke for me?
Noticing the restrained looks on their face, Charlotte quickly adds, “I’ll pay for your meal! Yeah…! Let’s make it a deal, you get information on the Duke for me and this meal of yours is on me!”
Paimon grins, “it’s a deal!”
Charlotte shares Paimon’s enthusiasm as she pulls out a small bag of mora ready to pay for the meal. At that moment, the owner returns with multiple plates and bowls filled with various amounts of entrees and desserts wheeling it to the table.
“H—how much did you order…?”
———
Many journalist stood outside of the Palais Mermonia demanding answers from their Archon who had entered the building earlier that morning. Luckily, gardes stood outside preventing anyone from entering.
Inside of the chief justice’s office was him, the God of Justice, and the Champion Duelist whose hair was damp with sea water.
“I checked the surrounding area,” Clorinde says, “there is no traces of Their Grace anywhere. The only logical conclusion is that the Fatui must’ve done something with them.”
Neuvillette nods. “Thank you for looking Clorinde, your help is appreciated.”
Clorinde nods, “it’s no trouble. We all want Their Grace to be found safe and sound.”
Furina had a worried look on her face as she paces back and forth in the office. “W—what are we supposed to do now? We looked all over Fontaine and they aren’t anywhere.”
“Lady Furina.”
Furina stops pacing, turning her gaze over to Neuvillette who looked calm considering the situation. “I think it’s time to meet with the Kanve, wouldn’t you agree?”
“T—that Knave?” Furina stammers, “ha, why would we meet with her? Don’t we have more important things to worry about?”
Neuvillette clears his throat, “until we find Their Grace, we must operate like normal. If the others find out that we lost Their Grace—“
Furina lets out a breath putting on a confident stance, “yes! Right of course!” She interrupts, “I was thinking the same thing… I will prepare for the two of us to discuss relations with her as soon as possible.”
“Who said that I would be joining you?”
Focalors lets out a short gasp as she quickly approaches his desk, her gloved hands balling into fists. “Y—you expect me to attend the meeting alone! No! You must go with me!”
Neuvillette closes his eyes as he shake her head, “I must focus all my attention on the Creator, we must locate them before the rest of Fontaine and Teyvat begin asking questions. As the Archon, this is something you should be able to handle. Correct?”
Furina tenses slightly but lets out a sigh. “But… wouldn’t attending the meeting be the best thing for Their Grace?”
Neuvillette furrows his brows, “What do you mean?”
Furina’s confident flair was back just as quickly as it dissipated, “Attending the meeting will give us the chance to indirectly interrogate the harbingers before she even knows that we suspect her.”
Noticing the look on the chief justice’s face, Furina lets out a boastful laugh. “Naturally I, the God of Justice, would be the first one to think of this! Worry not Neuvillette, I believe that after this meeting, the truth shall be revealed!”
Clorinde mutters how she needed a towel and Neuvillette lets out a sigh.
“Very well... I will participate in the meeting.”

In between Fontaine’s Lumidouce Harbor and Chenyu Vale, a large ship was anchored the familiar insignia imprinted in the sail. There was a plethora of Fatui agents stationed on the ship that it was overwhelming, it would be impossible to infiltrate the ship without being spotted.
Many of the agents weren’t even aware why there was such an urgency to return to the homeland. Curious glances and whispers spread throughout the ship like wildfire, wondering what could the Knave possibly be doing in the lower deck that no one else was allowed to enter unless they brought news from Fontaine. All of them knew better than to question their harbinger, but she hadn’t been seen since the night before.
“Your Grace.”
Arlecchino’s soft voice cuts through your thoughts. Fontaine was in danger and you were the only one who could help, at least that’s what she believed. It was only a matter of time before the nation was completely wiped off the map, Lady Furina has done nothing but bury her head in the sand.
You glance at her face, despite her sharp features she still had a soft yet powerful air around her. Maybe that’s why the children from the House of the Hearth trust her so much.
“Are you hungry? I have chefs on board, they can prepare anything you desire.” Her hand rested on top of yours, her long nails rubbing against your knuckles in a comforting way.
You were famished. You knew she was capable of, but she was making you feel so welcomed. It felt as if you could trust her, tell her anything and she would understand.
You nod slowly and she smiles.
“I’ll be right back.”
She stands up from her spot next to you leaving the room. Her luscious black and white hair that was pulled into a low ponytail flowed behind her. Arlecchino returned quickly letting out a soft sigh.
“They are preparing a Snezhnayian specialty, the food is quite delicious. I hope it’s to your liking” She commented placing her hand right back on top of yours.
“We will be heading towards Snezhnaya at sunset.” She says. “Although leaving Fontaine wasn’t originally apart of my plan, but considering the circumstances, changes had to be made.”
You furrow your brows. “The circumstances?”
Arlecchino nods. “Your power…or rather, lack there of.”
“I have a colleague, I do not trust nor like him very much but I cannot deny his intelligence, I believe he may be able to figure out the answer… or even Her Majesty may know.”
So there was a colleague within the Fatui who had extreme intelligence that might be able to help you. Maybe he would even know why you were healing so quickly? Or does that tie into your “godly” abilities too?
“Is that why we are leaving so quickly? Because of my supposed amnesia?” You ask.
The Knave shakes her head, “not necessarily. It’s mainly for your safety, you don’t wish to stay in a nation that tried to kill you, right Your Grace?”
You were forced into a corner with that question. Wanting to stay in a nation that almost killed you was bad, but wanting to go to a nation that had the capability to kidnap you wasn’t any better. Yet you had to pick your poison, and in that moment you decided—
“Right.” You reply. “Leaving Fontaine is the smartest option.”
“I knew that you would see it my way,” she praises, “I only want what’s best for you and all of Teyvat.” She gives your hand a squeeze a small smile spreading on her red lips.
A small knock on the door interrupts the moment, Arlecchino looks at the door her gaze becoming icy. “You may enter.”
The door opens and a young lady whose face is obscured by a mask enters and she immediately kneels.
“Y—your Grace… Lady Harbinger.” Her voice was almost breathless, her gaze transfixed on you. “I have news from Fontaine.”
Arlecchino lets out a sigh crossing her legs. “News? What is it?”
“Focalors has agreed to have a political meeting with you. The chief justice Neuvillette will also be attending.”
The Knave doesn’t even try to hide the smirk that spreads on her face, “Very well then. Was there a time mentioned for this meeting?”
“In the next few hours Lady Harbinger. We’ve already got a boat ready to return back to Fontaine’s harbor.”
Arlecchino stands, her gaze becomes soft once more when she looks back at you. “Your Grace, I will return as soon as I can. If you have any needs anyone on the ship will be more than happy to serve you.”
She exchanges a few whispers with the agent before giving you one last smile leaving the bottom deck. The agent looks at you one last time before stuttering out.
“I—I’ll go get your meal immediately Your Grace!” She rushes out of the door leaving you alone once more.

The Fortress of Meropide was more grand than Aether had anticipated. Surrounded by Fontaine’s sea, there was no escape from this prison besides the path they embarked, which was at the rear of the Opera Epiclese.
After heaving their mugshots taken, Aether and Paimon are escorted onto a ship where they meet their tour guide, who is also just another prisoner within the Fortress. The entire tour he was standoffish and dry only giving the required amount of information. If the two asked for more information about credit coupons, secret rules, or about the Creator, he would say they’d have to pay for that.
The prisoner leads the two down the large hallway of the Fortress when multiple gardemeks came around the corner. The traveler immediately takes a stance ready for a fight when a voice eases his worries coming around the corner with the machinery.
“Welcome to the Fortress of Meropide,” the man greets. He had dark clothing and dark hair with a scar under his eye.
“Y—your Grace!” The tour guide quickly says, his standoffish nature immediately disappears. “Lovely weather we’re having!”
The man glances over at the tour guide, “Hm? Oh yes, I guess the weather is nice. If we could see it.”
The prisoner lets out an awkward laugh as the Duke looks back at Paimon and Aether. “I’m Wriothesley, but you can call me Your Grace.”
“You’re the Duke of Meropide?” Paimon asks in a shocked tone. Wriothesley nods.
“So, how was your tour?” He asks, “was everything up to standard?”
Aether glances as the tour guide for a moment before giving Wriothesley a firm nod. “Yep. No complaints here.”
“Wonderful.” Wriothesley smiles, “I think we should be able to reward you with more credit coupons then?”
“T—thank you Your Grace! Thank you!” The tour guide says. He then looks over at the traveler, “and thank you for such kind words! If you ever need anything! Anything at all! Please come find me!”
Once he rushes off, the Duke turns his attention back onto the newcomers.
“So, is it normal for you to greet all newbies in person like this?” Paimon asks.
Wriothesley lets out a soft laugh. “No it’s not. I just heard that you two were friends with Neuvillette so I figured I finish the tour myself.”
“Wait, how do you know that?” Aether questions.
“The Fortress might look like it’s cut off from the rest of the world but word still travels fast. Just like what happened to Their Eminence.”
Paimon glances at the traveler briefly. Wriothesley continues, “Many people in the Fortress were ready to leave just for a chance at seeing the Creator. But since they are still in the hospital recovering, I managed to keep them under control.”
“What else do you know about the Creator?” Aether asks.
“Nothing really.” He responds, “I haven’t had the time to leave the Fortress and go visit them myself. Unless you’re talking about the basic information, there’s books all around the Fortress that can tell you that.”
Wriothesley continues on with the tour, showing the where the so-called cafeteria was, the Pankration Ring, and where they would report to work everyday. He also mentions Sigewinne, the nurse who looks after anyone who gets hurt or sick.
Lastly, he shows them where they’ll be sleeping. As he explains the procedures for their room, Aether gazes falls onto someone walking nearby. An oddly familiar magician.
Lyney stops walking and looks back at him, but once Wriothesley notices, Lyney lets out a soft laugh doing a dramatic bow.
“Well hello there Your Grace! It’s lovely to see you out of your office!”
Wriothesley crosses his arms, “it’s good to see you too, but shouldn’t you be reporting to work?”
The magician gives him a cheeky smile as he stands back up, “of course! That’s where I was heading right now! But these two must be very important to get a personal tour from the Duke himself.”
Wriothesley says nothing in response but Lyney quickly excuses himself, his gaze falling onto Aether once more before walking out of sight.
“Come on,” Wriothesley says, “there’s one last stop I’d like to make.”
———
The three sit at one of the tables in the cafeteria, the chef bringing over three welfare meals. They remove the lids revealing the delectable meals inside causing Paimons mouth to water.
“Oh is this what the food is like in the Fortress?” She rubes her hands together, “Paimon could get used to this!”
“Actually, I managed to pull a few strings to get this meal, after today, you might not get another meal like this.”
The fairy didn’t seem to be paying attention as she keeps shoving more food into her mouth. The traveler rolls his eyes at his companion, looking back at the Duke.
“So you said there was books in the Fortress about the Creator?” Aether asks, his fork pushing around his meal mindlessly.
Wriothesley nods. “There are groups within the Fortress to make people feel more welcome or comfortable. There’s quite a few revolved around Their Eminence. Prayer groups, wanting a stronger relationship, or just normal worship in general, they’re actually pretty popular.”
Paimon swallows the food in her mouth, “How do you feel about them?”
Wriothesley ponders for a second, “I don’t know anyone who has a negative view on Their Eminence, including myself. I would be honored to go up to the surface soon and share a cup of tea with them.”
Aether didn’t say anything in response, but he had a feeling that Wriothesley knew more about the Creator than he let on. He did say word travels fast from the surface, is it possible he already knows the Creator is missing?
“Anyways,” Wriothesley says, “I have other things to attend to, enjoy your time in the Fortress and try not to cause any trouble.”
The Duke gives one last farewell, leaving the table without another word. Aether and Paimon continue eating their welfare meals preparing themselves to adjust to their new situation and figure what exactly Childe may know about the Creator.
———
“You were right.”
In a dark corner of the Fortress, the twins from the House of the Hearth spoke in quiet whispers.
“Paimon and the Traveler, I just saw them.” Lyney explained.
Lynette’s ear lay flat on her head, her tail swaying slightly. “Monsieur Neuvillette must’ve told them and they’re here to investigate.”
“We have to do what Father told us to do.“ Lyney adds, “although playing ignorant to figure what they know won’t hurt either.”
Lynette lets out a sigh. “…and what about Tartaglia?”
Lyney shrugs, “what about him? He’s not here. We have to focus on the Creator. Without Their Grace, the Fatui won’t be able to—“
“I know.” Lynette interrupts. “Let’s just focus on the traveler for now.
Tumblr media
“I must say, the timing of this meeting seems almost convient…” Arlecchino narrows her gaze as she brings her teacup up to her lips.
“I’ll just cut straight to the chase. I’m here about my colleague, Childe and of course, Their Grace.”
The table inside of Neuvillette’s office was covered in sweets from Snezhnaya, something the Kanve brought to ease the tensions within the meeting. Yet, it doesn’t seem to be working.
“Childe was declared innocent by you, the Iudex, yet was still given a guilty verdict by the Oratrice…” Arlecchino explains, “and only days after that, you declare that Their Grace is an imposter and almost kill them.”
Furina shifts uncomfortably in her seat, “Y-yes… we are aware of our… transgressions. The Creator is being well looked after and is healing quite quickly.”
Arlecchino perks up, “Oh? They are? So is it possible for me to see them for myself?”
“That won’t be possible at the moment, I apologize.” Neuvillette quickly adds in.
Arlecchino brings a forkful of cake up to her mouth as she lets out a scoff. “An outright refusal? I must say, I am surprised…”
Neuvillette crosses his arms, “this meeting wasn’t called to talk about Their Grace, but rather Mr. Tartaglia, correct?”
“That is correct. Then am I able to enter the Fortress to check on the wellbeing of my colleague?”
“That also won’t be possible.”
Arlecchino sighs, “so I cannot see Their Grace and I cannot see Childe. What exactly will this meeting accomplish?”
“We already have a course of action for Their Grace.” Focalors adds, “but we cannot share it with you or any other nations for now. This meeting was just a… common courtesy”
“And as for Mr. Tartaglia I am investigating matter.” The chief justice adds.
“A common courtesy?” The Knave questions, “everyone in Teyvat is wondering just what exactly will Fontaine do after committing the biggest sin known to man… and all you can say is that it’s confidential? Not to mention the prophecy you refuse to address.”
Furina shoves another bite of cake into her mouth, scooting her chair closer to Neuvillette.
“As long as Their Grace is in our nation, they are under our jurisdiction.” Neuvillette explains.
Arlecchino clicks her tongue. “A disappointing outcome indeed… but I cannot say I am shocked.”
Arlecchino finished her tea, “the Fatui is willing to extend our help if you need it. You all seem to have a lot on your plate at the moment. Maybe it’s best to pass some of the responsibility onto someone else?”
“That won’t be necessary.” Neuvillette states.
The Knave stands from her seat, brushing her bangs out of the way, revealing her red X eyes. “I think it’s safe to say this meeting is concluded, I have to return back to Snezhnaya immediately.”
Furina raises a brow, “returing so soon? W—why such a rush to leave?”
It falls silent in the room for a few seconds.
“Her Majesty cares very dearly about the Creator, I am expected to report any and all news directly to her.” Arlecchino explains, her back facing the two.
“Snezhnaya as a whole cares deeply about Their Grace, and once they heal completely we will welcome them with open arms… not a trial.”
Focalors looks down at her lap as Arlecchino leaves the office returning to her ship anchored near the border of Fontaine and Liyue. A sinister smile spread on her lips while Neuvillette and Furina sit in the office in silence, a sour taste lingering in their mouth even with the baked goods in front of them.

neuvillette thinks he is losing his mind.
he was perpetually alone, his figure an aquamarine blur that fades into the hustle and bustle of the city, his face only visible when he is perched upon the throne during a trial.
the chief justice didn’t think there is a need for the people of fontaine to know anything else to him besides his title and the law he has sworn to uphold. he isn’t even sure himself if there is anything else to know about him, really. the only time people have seen him outside the courtroom and not making a beeline to his residence was when he hosted a water-tasting party, to which people lauded his sharp perception of water’s different tastes but few words were uttered beyond that.
he didn’t think there is a need for personal connections, either. making any sort of acquaintance will only sway his judgement, taint his pristine reputation, and risk the absolute supremacy of law and justice. not a single soul in fontaine - no, in all of teyvat, has even heard of his first name. what is a name, if not something to make a personal connection with? just chief justice neuvillette will do, please.
he didn’t have much understanding of the concept of “the self”. he may as well be synonymous to the law itself, not merely a person chosen to uphold it, a “phase in his career”, as he says. what is the point of self awareness, when all is eventually doomed to be buried by their own sins?
the undisturbed water is most peaceful as a mirror, a tapestry of liquid silk that one finds their own reflections in. but one ripple will soon turn into more, and before he knows it, his figure blurs and fades into oblivion, justice and equity long buried beneath the surface. humans, to him, are like droplets of water that disturb that serene, almost surreal peace.
but with you, he feels the claws of want, desperation, desire, jealousy, and possessiveness scratching at his very core. he has never felt such strong emotions, let alone so many of them all at once, that he briefly considered the possibility that he has been disintegrated by the primordial sea water and reduced to a puddle.
because how could someone so selfless, so equitable, so unfalteringly composed be in love?
he does not try to understand humans. he didn’t find the necessity in it, but now he is dying to know more. he wants to memorize the way you talk, the way you move, the way you so effortlessly light up the entire room and the way you so perfectly fit against him. he’s mesmerized. he wants to know every last thing about your entire existence, the highs and lows and everything in between, he wants to engrave them into his mind lest the infinity of time washes it away.
the itchiness in his heart does not fade with every passing moment. if anything, they grow stronger, like an invisible string pulling him towards you and he finds his feet leading him to your door once more. gloved knuckles tapping at the wood, the hollow sound quickly replaced by the excited shuffle of your footsteps and before he knows it, you’ve appeared before him, basked in glorious sunlight and neuvillette feels as if all his sins have been washed away.
no, he doesn’t just want you in his life. he needs you like a fish needs water, like a bird needs the sky, like the people of fontaine need their impartial iudex.
from then on, his shadow blurs a little slower on the crowded streets, aquamarine accompanied by bright shades of pinks, purples, and yellows, the sparkling stone hanging on your necklace matching the tie pin on his cravat. but if it were up to him, he’d dress you in the finest shades of blue, just so the entire world knows you’re his, and he’s yours.
to you, he’s not monsieur neuvillette, chief justice and iudex of fontaine. though the trials continue as normal and verdicts continue to be delivered impartially, any sharp-eyed person would soon notice the sun shining brighter and rainy days shorter.
he has lived thousands of years sealed inside a bubble that no one dared breaking, in its crystalline confinement even as winter turned into spring, as pages of the calendar are flipped and flipped again. human emotions are nothing but a distraction, he told himself, the law did not need such distractions and biases.
perhaps he found human emotion superfluous because he hadn’t known you yet.
under the sheets after the night falls, when his fingers are intertwined with yours, when your skin is bathing in the ivory moonlight, his name tumbles past your lips in a soft whisper, and he catches it with his own. the name that not a single soul has uttered in millennia, now a living proof of his devotion to you.
if humans are ripples to the water's surface, then let you be an entire storm that turns his world upside down.

When someone else calls their s/o with their last name for the first time
(bc boys version) Haikyuu boys version here
So I decided to do a little quick piece amidst the 1700 event requests, because I miss black clover contents and I personally loved this fic and idea hehe. Here's one for all of you, something sweet and fuzzy.
Tumblr media
Yami | Nozel | Fuegoleon | Zenon x F! Reader TW: unchecked You may of may not want to read this before reading yami's fic
Yami Sukehiro
You had to drag you husband’s ass out to the apartment viewing. You knew that low key, he found it hard to leave the bulls HQ. Afterall it was a place he found, built and had for a very long time.
But now that you’re married, it was only right for you two to have some alone and peaceful time without the walls breaking or anything catching fire at home.
Yami compromised to move and you compromised to find a place where the base can be nearby too.
“So, Mr Yami, your wife came the other day and she loved this place, how do you like it?”
“Yeah, whatever she likes.” Yami shrugged, he was okay with whatever, so long as you’re living with him.
“You have a lovely hubby, Mrs Yami. Aren’t you a lucky lady~” the agent smiled at you before her phone rang.
“Oh I have to get this, please excuse me for awhile, feel free to look around!” And she stepped out of the apartment
“So, Mrs Yami,” you were wrapped by his huge frame from the back, “is this our new love nest?”
You blushed and swatted him playfully, “if you like it!”
“I like it so long as the neighbours are okay with loud noises,” he smirked.
Nozel Silva
You were really busy with the wedding preparations , so you sent your fiancé to collect your customised gifts for your bridesmaids.
He stepped into the store and handed the receipt to the shopkeeper.
“Oh Mrs Silva’s gifts~” the lady said as she scurried to the back of the store.
Nozel stood there, stunned by what she said.
“Here you go,” she handed him the gifts awhile later, “you are Mr Silva?”
Nozel blinked, coming back to his senses, “yes.”
“Ah, Mrs Silva speaks a lot of you, I can tell she loves you very much.”
A blush crept up Nozel’s cheeks and painted it a tint of pink.
When he came home, he handed you the gifts.
“Thank you honey,” you smiled as you inspected the meticulous work.
“You’re welcome, Mrs Silva” he whispered in your ears before pressing a peck on your cheek.
Fuegoleon Vermillion
“Is Mrs Vermillion in?” A florist came into the crimson lion HQ one day.
“Mereo!” Fue was walking out from the pantry, “someone’s looking for you”
Mereo came out from the pantry with a cup of coffee in hand, “what?”
“Mrs Vermillion, I was told to come here to meet you,”
Mereo stared at the man for a few seconds, “what did you call me?”
The poor man read out the name on the paper carefully, “Mrs Ver-Mil-Lion, did I get that right?”
“Oi, dumb brother,” Mereo marched into Fue’s office to drag him out.
“Say it louder to his face, you’re looking for who again?”
“Mrs Vermillion, sir.”
Fuegoleon’s face turned bright red as he heard it from someone else for the first time.
“M-my wife-”
“Oh the florist is here!” You suddenly came in through the doors.
“Ah, Mrs Vermillion, I’ve been looking for you,” he bowed.
Fue stood there smiling with pride, he had to purse his lips a little so his smile wouldn’t get too wide as he listened in on the conversation with you and the florist on how to decor the place for the upcoming Crimson Lion anniversary.
You thanked the florist as he left.
“Mrs Vermillion sounds good on you, honey” he couldn’t contain his wide smiles.
“Oh honey,” you rolled your eyes cheekily at him, “please, your lips are about to reach your ears!”
Zenon Zogratis
He was kinda mad at you for going on a mission without telling him, so he didn't say a single word on the way to the restaurant as you celebrated your monthly date night.
"Do you have a reservation monsieur?" a waiter greeted you both.
"y/n." Zenon gave the waiter your name, since you booked the restaurant for tonight.
"let me see..." he scanned through the list of names, "ahh, Mrs Zogratis, si?"
"yep." you nodded shyly.
"And you must be Mr Zogratis, sir." the waiter beamed at the both of you, "lovely couple we have tonight, welcome in~"
He led you both to a quiet corner where you could oversee the spade kingdom. "Let me know when you're ready to order, Mr and Mrs Zogratis."
"are you still mad, Zen? You weren't back yet and it was a fast mission, so it slipped my mind to leave a note for you," you jutted your lip, pouting at your man.
"how could I stay mad, Mrs Zogratis?" his head rested on one hand, as he looked at you with soft ocean blue eyes.
You smiled shyly, it seemed surreal that now, you were married to this man.
"hmm, I should use this trump card more often~" you joked.
Zenon chuckled as he shook his head, what will he ever do with you.

𝐑𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐬 - 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐱 𝐟𝐞𝐦!𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫
Tumblr media
pixie says: i got him i got hydro daddy so here’s some celebration fluff ft my babies the Melusine’s.
Tumblr media
Imagine Neuvillette coming to you, a small box in his hands and a Melusine skipping alongside.
You had been close to the Iudex for a very long time, two of the eldest beings in Fontaine. The Hydro Dragon and the leader of the remaining Naiads were bound together by fate - spirits and embodiments of the nation’s elements. Although he posed now as the Chief Justice, as you as a florist - you maintained that friendship from all that time ago.
However, his arrival at the beach you would always sit on after work with his small companion, Liath - you recognised - was unexpected. The fact he knew where to find you was enough to set your heart alight.
“Madame Y/N, please do excuse our interruption - I hope we are not intruding?” Neuvilette asks, poised as ever.
“Nonsense, Neuvilette. Come, sit. Hello Liath, how has your day been?” You say, patting the space your large cloak has been spread out on the sand.
Liath immediately pulls Neuvillette by the hand and they sit down beside you, the Melusine immediately climbing to sit on the man’s lap and the soft smile on his face makes your stomach feel warm and fluttery.
“I’m afraid I must ask for your assistance, it appears a skill of yours has eluded my talents. A skill in which Liath is currently searching for.” He says.
“Oh? How can I help?” You smile, turning to sit facing them.
“Liath came to me today, mentioning how much she admired the style you wore your hair in several days ago - however, I am not well versed in the art of braiding.” He says, face extraordinarily serious for a man asking for braiding advice.
“Oh well that is something I can help with! You want your hair to be like mine, Liath?” You ask, patting her small hand.
She nods and turns to Neuvillette who passes her the box on his right. Her small hands present the blue box tied with a blue ribbon to you and you unravel the bow to find a ridiculously excessive amount of hair clips, bows, ribbons and bands laying underneath a silver soft bristled hair brush.
“I was not entirely sure of what accoutrements you would need for this endeavour, Madame, so I collected everything I could think of. I do hope the brush will suffice, it is my own.” The man says, resting his cane against his leg as Liath crawls from his lap into yours.
“This is more than enough, I could braid the hair of every Melusine in Fontaine with all of this!” You smile.
“Can you do my hair like yours, please? The one long plait with a big ribbon at the end?” The darling on your lap asks.
“Of course, sweetling. Monsieur, sit closer - I will teach you how to do this in the event I’m ever occupied.” You say, patting the space beside you, to which obliges and shifts to sit at your side.
You pointedly ignore the hammering in your chest when the breeze wafts his scent toward you: sea salt, fresh air and something cool and calming.
You begin to brush the Melusine’s hair, soft gentle strokes removing any tangles and easing a path for the style.
“So you just gather hair as you go along, make sure you have three strands - and you overlap them like so, see? If it’s tighter, it will last longer - however I find if they’re too tight it tends to give me quite the headache so I’ll do it nice and loose for this little angel.”
Neuvillette watches your fingers weave through the silky strands and deftly manoeuvre it to your will - or rather - Liath’s will.
“And ta-da!” You say, securing the soft pink ribbon at the end.
Liath reaches up and feels her hair, before looking at the small compact mirror you produce from your bag and smiling.
“Oh thank you so much! I look almost as beautiful as you now! Papa - doesn’t it look pretty!” She spins toward the man beside you.
“Beautiful as a pluie lotus, dearest.” He responds.
“I’m going to show Sedene!” She scampers off toward the Palais, leaving you with the Iudex.
Somehow - this became routine. Every day, Neuvillette and Liath would show up to your spot on the beach, or your florist as it rains - and you would fix the hair of the Melusine. However, the second day - Sedene joined too. Then Aeife, then Elphane, then Blathine and soon you had a gaggle of giggling Melusines decorating each others hair in a chain of styling.
“Madame Y/N?” Liath asks about a month into this newfound tradition.
“Yes, sweetling?” You say, finishing up her hair as she turns to curl into you.
“Are you our mama?” She asks, yawning and nuzzling into you.
At this, the Iudex snaps his head from the newspaper he was reading across from you.
“Would you like me to be?” You ask the cuddled up bundle.
“Very much so. You do our hair, and take care of us if we’re not well and give us kisses. And since Monsieur Neuvillette is like our papa - and he thinks you’re beautiful and he feels a lot of love when he looks at you then that would make you our Mama!”
The Melusine has no idea what she’s said.
You snap your head to look at the hydro dragon.
His eyes are wide, newspaper held tighter in his grip as he looks between you and the little gossip.
“Does he now? Well, then - I suppose I am your mama, if you would allow me the pleasure.” You smile, settling a blanket on the sleepy child.
As she drifts off to a well deserved nap - the man turns to you.
“I do apologise, Madame. Liath - I did not expect her to be so free with her words. If my presence makes you uncomfortable I shall take my leave immediately.” His horns seem to droop slightly, and the sky turns a little bit greyer.
“Well - someone had to make a move. After all, I have been waiting for 700 years.” You smirk, shifting to stand and lay Liath on the armchair of your apartment above your shop.
Neuvillette snaps his head to you.
“I - 700 years? That was when -” The man stands up and walks toward you.
“When we met, yes.” You take his hand and pull him to your kitchen - where you can speak without volume concerns.
He looks at you as if you’ve grown another head.
“I have been in love with you since the moment I stormed into your old home with intention of befriending the mighty Sovereign of Hydro.” You laugh, taking your hand and placing it on his cheek to which he subconsciously leans in to - every touch starved ounce of his body singing in delight.
“A Melusine revealing my love for you wasn’t quite my intention, yet I fear my lack of romanticism would have impeded any attempts made by myself.” He says, and you huff a small laugh at him - never giving himself enough credit.
“Yet, as we are here now - I’ll do my utmost. You have enchanted me, body and soul, from the day a young Naiad flung open my doors. I’m sure you’re reasoning for keeping these feelings to yourself are similar to mine - you were far too precious and integral to my life to allow myself the risk of you no longer being a part of it.” He says, stroking a long finger across the rise of your cheek. You agree with him, voicing the same opinion that he was far too meaningful to you to potentially lose, yet you figured he felt for you about 50 years ago - but thought it best for him to figure it all out by himself rather than moulding things for him - given his nature and responsibilities. You can see a trail of shimmer on his lower lashes, this sweet, oh-so sensitive man. You wipe the beginnings of tears from his eyes.
“Hydro dragon, hydro dragon, please don’t cry.” You smile, seeing him grin down at you and the mirth in his eyes lights your heart.
You tilt your head up to him and he cups your face with his large hands.
“May I kiss you, my darling girl?” He asks in the gentlest voice imaginable.
“Please.”
His soft lips press to yours and you feel as if you’re floating in the purest, warmest most divine pool of water as the clarity of kissing your love sets in. The kiss is gentle, romantic and full of pent up longing - the soft swipe of your tongue across his lower lip makes his hand grip tighter on your waist as you wind your hand into the silky white hair cascading down his back.
He pulls away, both needing a reality check - he looks at you as if to ensure you’re real and you smile at him, pecking his lips once more.
“I love you, Neuvillette.”
“I love you, dearest Mate of the Hydro Dragon”
“And we love you both too!”
The cheerful, loud voices of 3 melusine’s make you both jump as they appear at your door - boxes of cakes and sweets in their arms.
“Liath! Wake up! Papa finally kissed Mama!”

Tim Drake didn't particularly like the occult.
But Constantine said the two were their best bet against the demon uprising. The magic-user, howeover, refused to contact them himself, claiming that it was a bad idea to involve them, that they were better off dealing with the problem on their own than . . . outsourcing. Unfortunately, Tim (and the rest of the Batfamily really) was stubborn. If they had potential allies to help them, wouldn't it be worth to take the risk?
This mission to contact those people then dragged him to a downtown bar to talk to famous designer Marinette Dupain-Cheng, who he was ninety-five percent sure was one of the two Constantine was talking about.
Tim told himself that perhaps a little bit of sweet-talking would do. His hand inched closer to hers on the tabletop, but she immediately pulled away. "This night has been fun, Monsieur Drake." She smiled sweetly. "But I don't think my husband will appreciate me staying out late."
She showed him a glowing band on her finger, which Tim completely missed when they met. He, too, pulled away, cheeks turning pink. "Uhh, yeah, sorry 'bout that. Don't let me keep you."
Although Marinette had slipped out, he still had a mission to do.
He decided to follow her.
He knew of her potential danger, signified by the fact that she was walking on a dark, deserted, Gotham street by herself. He held his breath when she stopped right below a flickering lamppost.
She turned around, plump red lips stretching into a sinister smile. "That's quite sneaky of you, Monsieur Drake. Why don't you be direct with what you want, hm?"
And he took a step out of the shadows, dropping his act. "We need your help."
"Who told you about me?"
". . . John Constantine."
Her nose wrinkled. "That soul-whore? Figures."
Tim definitely didn't show it, but the way she stood, her mere presence was unnerving like a beast waiting to pounce. But at the same time, she was so unfairly beautiful even in the darkness.
Marinette smoothed down her hair. "What makes you think we're willing to help?"
Tim's eyebrows raised. "'We'?"
A sudden chill arrived with the wind, summoning goosebumps all over his skin. The lamp switched off in a blink, and when it turned on again, a shadow had appeared beside Marinette, which morphed into a human. Or at least he thought it was a human.
"Yes, 'we'," a new voice said. "She and her husband."
Fuck. The man was dressed in elegant clothes, a perfect match with his wife. His hair was slicked back but with strands softly falling on top of his ethereal eyes. Tim swore those were fangs under his pale lips, sharp like the gaze he was shooting at him. Both his deep blue eyes and Marinette's seemed to shine under the moonlight.
Tim was officially scared. He never did like the occult, but goddamn, the occult was causing his bi-panic.
