Okay so picture this... a line up of heroes, all bound and forced to their knees in front of whumper.

Whumper paces in front of them calmly. They have their hands clasped behind their back as they begin to threaten or make demands of Leader. Then they slowly stop in front of our whumpee. Maybe they look the youngest, most inexperienced, or the most scared but something about them catches whumper's eye.

Leader's eyes go wide as they try to redirect whumper's attention back to them, but it's too late. Whumper places a hand under Youngest's jaw and lifts their gaze to force eye contact. They see the barely hidden fear behind a shaky mask of indifference and they *smile.*

casual reminder that the more money going into a media property the more that property is controlled which limits story choices and risks. 

When I see people saying that movies nowadays are so bad ‘who cares if ai takes their jobs ‘ blah blah .   ..uh. no.the writers are not the reason why movies arnt hitting like they used to. Its because more control is exercised over these HUGE BUDGET LEGACY PROJECTS.  There are outliers sure, that are big budget and manage to be good but - ya’ll thats the exception not the rule.  Networks/broadcasters/project partners/executive producers/  all can have a say of what goes through and what doesnt.  Adjustments to storys,characters, events, designs . One time on a preschool show there was an adjustment to a characters clothing color cuz there were concerns it woould make him look too gay. ( not verbatum but that was pretty much why )  Sure thats not everyone in those positions - but again, EXCEPTIONS, NOT THE RULE. I happen to work on a show that I feel gives me a ton of creative freedom but it really comes down to the people on the show - not the structure itself. I just got lucky because i’ve also heard some of the most high tier nonsense.  all they want to do is see the line go up. You want good media again? support all the strikes and deal with things not airing. The entertainment industry has cranked out SO MANY THINGS we can deal with a stop to the flood if it means people can fight for their rights. 

support people , without them there are no stories.

I made myself sad, if Aizawa got taken before the sports festival then that means he probably never even met shinsou let alone trained him, and shinsou probably never makes it into the hero course 🥲

Part of me wants to believe he’d still find a way, because he’s definitely determined enough to keep trying. But Aizawa was such a key part of him making it…

So many peoples lives are changed by Aizawa not being there 😭

Yeah, Aizawa's absence from the story comes with HUGE consequences. Like even if we don't consider him existing as a Nomu and his eventual rescue/return. We have individuals whose lives are altered. He isn't there to take Shinsou under his wing and teach him how to be successful with his disadvantaged quirk. He isn't there to help contain the chaos at the summer camp, leading to more students injured/taken/possibly worse. He isn't there to be one of the few people Bakugou respected enough to help him on his journey to being a legitimate hero-in-training. He isn't there to help speed along the raid on the Shie Hassaikai, resulting in Overhaul escaping with Eri or, if they caught up to Overhaul in time regardless, unable to be there to stop Eri from losing control and killing Midoriya. He isn't there alongside Mic to trigger Oboro's temporary awakening in order for the heroes to locate Garaki and the correct hospital housing Shigaraki. He is LITERALLYYYYYYY the biggest opposing hard counter to the story’s major villain(s). Those are just the obvious things off the top of my head

That's not even mentioning the overall major consequences of AFO/Garaki now possessing Erasure. It takes time to copy/integrate quirks into Nomu so it's not an immediate impact, but in relation to this AU specifically it theoretically means that Yabureme is not the only thing wielding Erasure any longer. Considering how much AFO wanted Erasure it's basically a given. How do you come up against that? Having Aizawa on the heroes side is the lynchpin keeping society together and it's not acknowledged nearly enough in canon

sometimes being fucked out of his mind doesn't chase all the monster away. sometimes dazai still lies awake going over memories he wishes to forget. sometimes not even the arms around his waist are enough to save him from himself.

to dazai's credit, he leaves to get a drink of water. he stands in the kitchen, eyeing the cutlery like he's about to do battle with it as he nurses the glass of cold water. his throat feels raw from screaming his lover's name and that pain grounds him enough in reality.

it's the sound of that same lover's voice that douses dazai in ice. the glass is left forgotten on the counter as he's drawn to fyodor's wails. his eyes widen, staring at the tortured soul who writhes like a caged bird. he's asking for him. calling for him. his angel. dazai has never felt divine until he was in fyodor's presence, when the man prays with kisses against his thighs and asks him for salvation. ah, this must be what he needs saving from.

he reaches out to place a sure hand within growing black locks. dazai is almost taken aback by the thing that roils under his touch. it fights back, vicious and cold like plunging into a frozen lake. it claws at dazai, trying to tear him apart. but it doesn't get the chance. nothing ever gets the chance. no longer human pins it down with it's unrivaled strength and snuffs it out like a candle losing oxygen.

I've got a rough draft of the Maddie/Doug one written, but its gotta be fleshed out because it feels kinda rushed right now. Plus gotta get a computer or something besides my phone to write it on so the format looks ok, so it's gonna be at least another month maybe less before I get the first story actually posted unfortunately.I do wanna say that Maddie isn't only gonna be seeing Buck as someone she needs to protect, she's gonna be protective over Chimney as well, so there's people she's gonna kill for him too, cough father cough. I will say if people like Abby they won't like one of the stories cause I'm gonna have Maddie get custody of Buck so he doesn't have mommy issues, lol. And instead Abbys gonna have a hard time taking no for an answer. Also, there's gonna be a few times that Eddie and Maddie team up to protect their loved ones. I would say I'm spoiling the stories but just watching the show will let people know what characters are likely to be on Meddies hut list, lol.

there's absolutely no rush! take all the time you need! i know it can be hard, bc you wanna get it out and share and sometimes maybe don't feel great about yourself if you don't write fast, but taking your time with a story is very nice and helpful and good and readers arent going anywhere. and yeahhhh this sounds like a really cool twist to canon and i look forward to it!
