Thank you for the request @kai-lee08, hope you like it!

If you’re a STAY you know how close the members are. I mean they’re pretty much glued together to each other. The same thing will happen with you, their partner/girlfriend/boyfriend. Some people have emotional support animals, SKZ has an emotional support partner. All eight of them love being close to you and if two days go by when they don’t see you, they become anxious. They feel incomplete without their partner by their sides.
Dates are often executed in pairs or trios if they involve going out. Movie dates are always all of you together. Some date pairs/trios:
Shopping dates always include Jeongin, he’s the fashionista of the relationship after all, and often times Hyunjin too. The two love going out with you to look at clothes and see how good you look and also being able to buy matching outfits for all of you. Changbin joins every now and then, and the times that he joins, don’t you dare try to pay for anything, he will be offended if you even think of paying for your food, clothes, whatever. The same goes for Hyunjin and Jeongin, if they reach for their wallets, Changbin will glare at them.
Café/picnic dates include Minho, Felix, and Jisung. If it was a café date, Felix or Jisung would have spent hours searching for some cute café that’s sort of hidden away from the public, then they would order every cake, cookie, and everything that the café had so be prepared to be there for hours. If it’s a picnic date, Felix and Minho will have spent a couple of hours in the kitchen baking and making food for the date. Felix will make brownies and cookies, and Minho will prepare any food that you mentioned you wanted, sandwiches, salads, pasta, pizza, whatever it was he fixed it. Jisung and you were in charge of choosing the location and fixing the blanket for the date. As long as the weather allowed it, the four of you would stay out for hours. Playing games like hide and seek because why not?
Bang Chan and Seungmin are sort of wildcards, they can do whatever as long as it is with you. While the two often work they love having you around. If Bang Chan is busy working on making songs for the group, he would love it if you surprised him by showing up with lunch and then staying with him, sitting beside him, or just in the studio, he might not be able to talk too much as he is so focused but knowing you’re there helps him, he becomes more inspired and suddenly the song he struggled with was finished in a few minutes. Seungmin takes his job very seriously and he always schedules extra vocal training sessions during which he is very happy when you decide to join him to listen to his silky warm voice and get lost in the sound. During the breaks that they take they always give you hugs and kisses, thanking you for being there with them.
Your favorite dates are those spent at home with all eight of them though. Choosing movies, ordering food, eating snacks, snuggling close on the couch to them, the hugs and kisses, the hand holding, the innocent touches, the not-so-innocent touches, the deep talks, just everything with them. Let’s just say that being in a poly relationship with SKZ will be fun, filled with laughter, and you will rarely be alone because Stray kids have separation anxiety.

Fated To Be...
Tumblr media
Enhypen OT7 x afab! reader
Wordcount ≈  5k
Warnings: talk of (Y/n) almost dying, angst, mention of committing suicide, mention of wanting to die,
Summary: (Y/n) has a choice to make, forgive Enhypen for everything they did or walk away and stay alone for the rest of her life. Are they Fated To Be Together? Or Fated To Be Alone?
While writing this I was listening to 5SOS’ “Story Of Another Us” so I would recommend listening to it while reading!
We have reached the third and final part of the Fated series. Thank you for all the support on this and I hope you like this part too.
Taglist: lol6sposts, @lene03, @tamii4, @soobawrz,

She looked at Enhypen, their faces were filled with regret and sadness, they looked very different from how they looked the last time she saw them. They looked softer now, perhaps because now their eyes weren’t filled with disgust as they looked at her. “(Y/n)?” Kyle tried again, but yet again, he was left without a response. “(Y/n), please, can we talk?” Jay tried asking, hoping she would say yes.
Tumblr media
Third person POV
“Don’t you think you guys have done enough already? What more could you possibly have to say?” Moa came running out with hers, Kyle’s, and (Y/n)’s things, just as Jay asked (Y/n) the question. Moa was furious. For the first time in so long, (Y/n) was finally happy and they just had to ruin it. “(Y/n), please, please, hear us out,” “I-I-” (Y/n) tried to say something but she couldn’t get further than saying ‘I’.
(Y/n)’s heart was beating so hard it hurt, her lungs were struggling to work, she couldn’t breathe, and everything was spinning. “Please, we’re sorry, we know we messed up,” Jungwon said as he took a step closer to (Y/n). (Y/n) flinched, trying to move closer to Kyle in order to get away from Enhypen. Kyle noticed and moved in front of (Y/n) to shield her, Moa ran over to her soulmate and her best friend, giving Enhypen a nasty glare. “Don’t you dare come closer to her. I don’t care how sorry you are, you’ve done enough, you almost killed her, where were you then? Where was this remorse when you told her to ruin someone else’s life?” Moa’s words were filled with hatred and malice toward the boys. “She almost died?” “Yes, because of you,” Moa didn’t give them any more information, only emphasizing that it was their fault it happened.
“Can we meet up tomorrow and talk? Please, we don’t want to lose (Y/n), again” Heesung tried as he looked at Moa, understanding that right now, it wasn’t (Y/n) they were negotiating with but with Moa. Moa was thinking, would (Y/n) want to meet with them? Once she had some time to think it through, she might want to. “Give me a number I can reach you at, if she’s up to it, I’ll message you, if you don’t hear anything. Assume that she doesn’t ever want to see you again, because of what you did,” “Thank you, here, this is my number,” Sunghoon walked toward Moa giving her his number. All the boys could do now was hope that (Y/n) would say yes to meeting with them.
Kyle and Moa helped (Y/n) walk away from Enhypen, stopping a bit away to call a taxi. When the trio came back to the hotel, Moa told Kyle that she would stay with (Y/n) that night to make sure she would be okay. Kyle understood and said that if they needed anything, he was available. Once inside, (Y/n) lay down on the bed, feeling numb. And confused. Very confused. “Come on, (Y/n), you need to get out of the dress and remove your make-up,” “Moa,” “Yes?” “I’m lost,” “I know, I get that. It’s okay. For now, let’s get ready for bed and sleep. Clarity will come in the morning,” (Y/n) got out of her dress as Moa got some cotton pads and make-up remover. Soon enough, the two were lying in bed, fast asleep, as they held each other close.
* The next day *
When (Y/n) woke up, Moa was still sleeping. (Y/n) got out of bed and got dressed in some comfortable clothes, she wrote a note to Moa saying she was heading to the roof for some fresh air. As she got up to the roof she took in the city that she once loved. (Y/n) thought about the past, everything she had been through. The happiness of finding each set of initials on her body on her birthdays, the excitement of finding out she was fated to be with Enhypen, and then the heartbreak of being rejected.
“Did I do something wrong in a past life? Or did you mess something up, Fate? I thought the soulmate thing was supposed to be easy,” (Y/n) spoke out into the morning breeze, No one else was on the roof so she was alone to speak her thoughts aloud. “Can I come past what they said and did? Should I forgive? Do I want to forgive them?” (Y/n) stood on the roof for an hour, part of it thinking of her life and part of it she just watched the buzz of the city.
“(Y/n), how long have you been here?” Moa had woken up and found the note, so after getting dressed she walked up to the roof to find her best friend. “I don’t really know, maybe an hour?” Moa walked over to stand beside (Y/n), looking out over the city. “How are you doing? After yesterday?” “I’m sad we had to leave so early, Jaehyun’s probably disappointed so I’ll have to explain what happened to him. And regarding the guys, I’m confused. Some part of me wants to just forgive them right now while another part of me wants to leave the country again,” “That’s reasonable, there is always going to be a part of you that feels connected to them, and there’s also always going to be the part of you that was betrayed by them,”
(Y/n) turned around so that her back was now facing the edge of the building. She let out a loud sigh. “If you were in my position, would you meet with them? Talk with them?” Moa stayed facing the city, looking around at all the buildings and the people. “I don’t know. I know I am furious with them as your best friend and I want nothing more than to scream at them, but if I was you in this scenario? I don’t know,” “I feel so thorn, Moa, I feel like my brain is splitting in two from the different opinions in my mind,”
Moa turned her head toward (Y/n). “If I were you, I would meet with them. Hear them out, and then, decide whether they deserve a second, or actually third, chance. Personally, I don’t think they deserve it, no matter what they say. But at the end of the day, it is up to you to choose,” (Y/n) looked into Moa’s eyes for a few seconds before looking back down toward the floor. “Text them and tell them that I’ll see them. I want it to be somewhere private, somewhere where it’s only us, no outsiders, I’m sure I’ll cry and I don’t want to cause a scene in public,”
~ Three hours later, at Enhypen’s dorm, Third person POV ~
The Enhypen members were very happy when Sunghoon’s phone dinged, showing a text from an unknown number. It was from Moa. (Y/n) would meet with them. After reading the request for a private space, Sunghoon responded by asking if their apartment would be okay as it was very private. Moa said that it would be fine and so the boys sent their address to her, and then they waited.
As (Y/n), Moa, and Kyle arrived at the building, in which Enhypen lived. Jungwon was waiting by the entrance to help them get inside. Jungwon greeted the trio but only received a low ‘Hi’ from Kyle. Neither (Y/n) nor Moa said anything. For the last three hours, (Y/n) had been thinking over what she should do. She was very thorn over her own feelings.
A part of (Y/n) was thinking back to her younger self, before the soulmate marks, who dreamed of meeting her soulmate or soulmates. The little girl who dreamed of love, of connection, of the kind of love she saw all around her between the soulmates in the world. Another part of (Y/n), can only think of the pain, the hurt, and the feeling of losing herself after being rejected. Yet another part of her is thinking of the future. A future where she does forgive the boys and they get together, living happily with each other. But also, a future where she can find love in someone else, someone who never hurt her, love with someone who cares about her just as much as Moa, love with someone who has known the same kind of pain that she has felt. What is the right choice? What is she supposed to choose?
The elevator ride up to Enhypen’s apartment felt like it took hours even if only took a mere 3 minutes. (Y/n) felt her palms becoming a little sweaty, her breath becoming a little choppy, and her eyes were suddenly finding it hard to focus. (Y/n) felt like she was standing in front of the whole world with two buttons to choose between, if she chose the red button she would end world hunger, if she chose the blue button she would end the climate crisis. That’s the amount of pressure, anxiety, and stress she was feeling.
Inside the apartment, the other boys were waiting anxiously. They hoped that (Y/n) would give them a new chance. One they wouldn’t fuck up. They knew that they had no power here, not really, all they could do was speak from their hearts and hope for the best. Jungwon was gradually becoming more and more worried after inspecting (Y/n)’s facial expression and body language in the elevator, it didn’t look good for them. The members' heart rates instantly picked up as the door opened and (Y/n), Moa, Kyle, and Jungwon stepped inside.
The air between the ten people in the room was tense, no one was speaking or moving as they all sat around the large dinner table. (Y/n) was focusing all her attention on trying not to cry and to keep her body from trembling too much. Her mind was still going to war with itself because of her conflicting feelings and thoughts.
Moa was the first to speak, a chill was sent down the Enhypen members' backs as she spoke with an angry tone. “Apologize then, if you’re not going to speak then we’ll leave, we have better things to do than just sit here,” (Y/n) looked toward Moa, feeling a little relieved that she wasn’t there alone. Had she been alone, she would have been a crying mess by now.
“We’re so sorry, about everything. When we first met (name) we really thought she was our soulmate, even if we didn’t have the true reaction to her she said she had the reaction. And we believed her. By the time we had figured out it wasn’t true, we had already fallen in love with her. We thought that we would never meet our true soulmate so it would be fine to stay with the woman we loved.” Heesung began explaining. Just the mention of (name), made (Y/n)’s heart hurt, she clenched her jaw tighter to hold back her tears.
“She was very controlling, afraid we would leave her. She told us countless times that she loved us and that she had left her true soulmate for us and we should do the same for her if we ever ran into our true soulmate. We were blinded by love so we made her that promise,” Jay continued. All the boys were visibly clenching their jaws and some even their fists, silent tears were running down their cheeks. (Y/n) couldn’t look at them anymore, so she faced the table, trying to shield her eyes from their view.
“We truly believed that things would work out and everything would be fine, we loved each other and we loved her, we didn’t understand how much we were really missing the final piece of our puzzle. The moment we met you, we felt things we had never done before but we couldn’t admit it. We just couldn’t hurt (name), we were so blinded that we hurt you instead because we were under her control,” Jake was full-on crying as he spoke, he struggled to get the words out.
“Being around you, felt like the beginning of spring, when the sun begins to thaw away at the snow and all the flowers prepare to bloom. Like a warm summer breeze dancing through the leaves and over the ocean waves. The more we felt toward you, the more we pushed you away. The more we wanted you, the more we hurt you. When (name) found out that we had met you, she told us to have you fired or even kill you, that if we dared to accept you, she would kill herself,” Sunghoon continued. Moa who at first was looking at them like they were worth nothing now held a softer look in her eyes as the truth began to settle in. They still caused (Y/n) immense pain but they suffered too.
“Even if we began feeling the soulmate bond toward you, we still had feelings for (name), and we didn’t know what to do. We were torn between fate and free will. Looking back at it, we should have just talked with you, and explained the situation, but we were driven by (name) to stay with only her,” Sunoo tried wiping away his tears as he talked, his eyes were red and swollen from the tears. As were all the others. Even Moa and Kyle had begun crying as they listened to Enypen explain why they did everything they did.
“So we pushed you away, we hurt you, and told you we hated you. That was a lie, all of it was a lie but we were like marionettes. Though we can’t put all the blame on (name), we had a choice and we chose the wrong option. Not too long after you left, we found out that (name) had been lying to us. She hadn’t rejected her true soulmate, no she was still with him but she pretended to love us in order to get money. We immediately broke up with her and threw her out. It wasn’t until then that we understood what we had done to you. It was like we could finally see clearly, and we deeply regret everything we did,” Jungwon was finding it hard to speak as he had so many emotions swirling around in him, love, hatred, sadness, hope, and many more.
“We are so sorry for hurting you, we are so sorry for everything we said and did. I wish we could say that it wasn’t us but that would be a lie. And we don’t want to lie to you or hurt you anymore, never again. We know that it’s almost impossible for you to forgive us, we don’t deserve to be forgiven. But we want to apologize and make it up to you. Could you find it in you to give us one more chance? A chance to prove our love, if you do, we promise to never hurt you ever again and we promise to give you all the love in the world. Because that’s what you deserve,” Niki was the last of the seven boys to speak. He, just like (Y/n), was facing the table as it was too hard to look at anyone else.
(Y/n) took in everything they said. None of it helped her reach clarity on what she should do. Forgive them? Leave them? She was still just as torn. They admitted to feeling the bond yet they hurt her as badly as they did, that hurt more than if they hadn’t felt the bond at all. Yet her heart yearned for them as they too had suffered from the situation, (Name) had abused and used them. Her head felt like it would explode any second now from all the thoughts.
“Would it be okay if (Y/n) and I went out on the balcony for some air? So she can think about her decision without feeling your eyes on her,” Moa asked as she stood up from her chair and gently helped (Y/n) to stand, supporting (Y/n)’s almost limp body. The boys said yes and opened the balcony door for the two girls. Once outside, Moa helped (Y/n) sit down on the little couch on the balcony and sat down beside her. Moa embraced her best friend in a gentle hug as (Y/n) began crying hysterically.
“Cry all you want, take all the time you need. This isn’t an easy choice, if you need more time, days or weeks, take that. No one would blame you for it,” (Y/n) just tightened the hug as she cried some more. For 15 minutes the two girls sat outside holding one another close as they cried. Moa hated seeing her best friend so weak and hurt, and all she could do for her was sit there and hold her. A tiny knock was heard from inside, Moa looked at the door to find Kyle standing there with two cups in his hands signaling to ask if he could come outside. Moa waved him over and he walked out.
“I brought some tea out for you, it’s a little cold outside and I was worried,” “Thank you, darling,” (Y/n) let go of Moa as she heard Kyle’s voice. She couldn’t say anything but she gladly took the cup of tea from his hands and took a few sips. The warm liquid soothed her throat. “Do you want me to get you some blankets or something else?” “Yes please-” “Could you just stay here with us?” Moa was about to answer her soulmate’s question but she was interrupted by (Y/n). “Of course, if you want me to stay, then I’ll stay,” Kyle sat down on the other side of (Y/n), he might not have the same bond with her that Moa did but he still cared deeply for his soulmate’s best friend. (Y/n) was like a sister to him.
“I don’t know what to do, a part of me wants to just leave because I can’t forgive them, another part of me wants to run in there and hug them and forgive them. A third part of me wants to jump off the building so I don’t have to choose,” (Y/n) continued sipping on her tea and crying as she tried to explain her feelings. Kyle looked up at the sky before he let out a deep sigh. “Of course, you would be torn on the matter. It’s reasonable, you are driven by logic and emotions, not one or the other. Your emotions are trying to say that you should give them a chance while the logical part of you can only see their previous actions. These last few years that I have gotten to know you, I have seen the type of person you are, (Y/n). You are the type of person who doesn’t want to hurt anyone, but this choice is difficult because you either have to hurt them or possibly hurt yourself,” Moa was surprised at the way her soulmate was speaking, but happy that he was trying to help (Y/n).
“During these years, you have never once done or said anything that would intentionally hurt anyone. I have only seen you doing everything you can to make others smile even though you have been feeling so much pain. I have never met anyone like you before, someone who is so good through and through. I’m so thankful that Moa is my soulmate because not only did I gain a soulmate, I gained a sister too,” (Y/n) began crying even more after hearing Kyle explain that he saw her as a sister. These tears were happy tears though compared to the frustrated tears she shed a few seconds ago.
“What would you do, Kyle?” “I can’t say, (Y/n). This is your choice. It doesn’t matter what I would do, cause I can’t say. I’m not in your shoes, and I can’t imagine how it would be. All that matters is what you want to do,” “(Y/n), we will support you no matter what choice you make but we can’t make it for you,” Moa chipped into the conversation. (Y/n) let out a loud sigh, staring down into her now empty cup. “I need some alone time to think everything through,” “Alright, we’ll go inside, just give us a wave or something if you want us to come back out or if you need a blanket or more tea,” Kyle said before he and Moa stood up and walked back inside.
(Y/n) got up from the couch and walked over to the fence on the balcony. She stood looking over the city just like she did earlier in the day on the roof of the hotel. The sky was darkening as night was approaching, the sun was creeping down little by little. Logic versus feelings. What should she listen to? Which part is right? Which choice is the right one?
(Y/n)’s POV
As I looked down on the city below, I once again thought of a 5-year-old me who dreamed of finding her soulmate. It was my only dream, my only goal, it was all I wanted. To then grow older and find out I was to have seven soulmates, was intimidating but oh so exciting too. I imagined a perfect world where I met the boys before (name) and we would have a perfect relationship, like Moa and Kyle. I saw the 5-year-old me gleaming with happiness. I also saw the 20-year-old me who was heartbroken. The me who wished the ground would swallow her whole. The me who wished to be removed from this world.
I closed my eyes and felt the cold breeze as it passed by. The cold to some would have been hard to stand but to me, it didn’t even come close to the pain I have felt in my life. The cold was welcoming in a way, helping me weed through the sea of thoughts in my mind. After spending another 15 minutes out on that balcony, I finally reached clarity. I had made my choice.
I walked over to the door, opened it, and walked back inside. The nine people inside all turned to look at me, Enhypen had hopeful looks in their eyes, while Moa and Kyle had concern swirling around in theirs. I stopped a few steps away from the chair I had been sitting on during Enhypen’s apology. It felt better to stand up rather than sit down as I told them what I had decided.
“I have made my decision. It has been far from easy and to this very second I’m still contemplating if I’m making the right choice. Should I listen to logic or to feelings? What you said and did, hurt more than anything. For many days I could barely breathe, it felt like I was suffocating every second of every day. I wanted nothing more than to die, my entire childhood I dreamed of meeting my soulmates and spending the rest of my life with them. You ruined that for me that day. If I couldn’t have that, I didn’t want to live. Eventually, the marks began fading and so did that hopeless feeling. I began to heal, finding value in myself, a reason to live without you. But then fate brought us together again, and I soon found myself enveloped in that darkness once more. The reasonable, logical choice would be to leave and reject you because as you said, you don’t deserve my forgiveness. However, the emotional side of me can’t help but dream of how it would feel to be in love with you and you in love with me. Would it live up to the expectations that my 5-year-old self had? Would I be happy? Could I forget the pain that you put me through?”
The boys were crying hysterically as they listened to me, I was crying as well now that I had taken a break from speaking. My throat was closing up, the way it often does when you try to speak while crying. I hope that this choice is the right one.
Tumblr media
~ Logical ending, third person POV ~
“My choice is,” (Y/n) took another deep breath as she looked around at the boys. Heesung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Niki. “To leave, I’m sorry,” (Y/n) broke down, she was crying so much that her legs gave out, causing her to fall to the floor. The Enhypen boys felt their hearts break into a thousand pieces as they heard what (Y/n) had decided on. Moa ran over to (Y/n), hugging her. “It’s okay, darling, it’s alright, shhh, it’s okay, I’m here,” Moa tried to calm (Y/n) down a little, though her attempt was fatal as nothing helped.
After a few minutes, (Y/n) managed to gain some control of herself again. She stayed on the floor but she continued explaining her choice.
“I can’t forgive you. The pain you caused me, it can’t be forgotten. Every moment I spend with you I am reminded of all the words you said and the feeling of suffocating. The feeling of wanting to die, I don’t want to live in that darkness. Because no matter how good the future would be, the past would constantly haunt me. I would never be able to truly live in the light and feel the love that you wish to give me. I can’t go through that again, I can’t nor do I want to. I’m sorry,”
“We understand, it hurts and we’re sad, of course. But we understand, what we did was horrible, I wouldn’t forgive someone who had done that to me either,” Jungwon said. All the boys were trying to say something but they barely managed to form the words “It’s okay” or “We understand”.
(Y/n), Moa and Kyle soon left the apartment. (Y/n) left her soulmates in that apartment, to never see them again. Her heart felt heavy but her shoulders were relieved, a weight had been lifted off of them. She could finally breathe easily. She felt free. Free from the darkness she had been living in since the rejection. Free to live her own life. She didn’t know if she would ever find someone that she could fall in love with, but she was fine with that. As long as she knew that she deserved happiness without conditions, she would be fine.
The initials that once decorated her body were no longer visible. No matter how hard one would search, they wouldn’t find a single trace of a soulmate mark. Her initials that once decorated the Enhypen members’ bodies had faded into nothing too. Only their memories remained, except for those, there was no proof of them ever having an eighth soulmate. Fated no more, fated to be alone.
Tumblr media
~ Emotional ending, third person POV ~
“My choice is” (Y/n) looked at Moa and Kyle, trying to find one last push to announce her choice. Kyle gave (Y/n) a small smile and a tiny nod, it gave her just enough courage to finish the sentence. “To give you a chance,” “REALLY?” Jake hurriedly stood up as he loudly spoke his question. “Yes,” The tears were running down (Y/n)’s cheeks like a wild river.
“Through this all, I keep thinking back to the young me who wanted to share this bond with someone destined to be with me. The young me who wanted this so badly that she would stop at nothing to achieve it. I don’t know if I can forgive you but I can give you a chance to show that you can treat me well and that what you did wasn’t the real you,”
They all ran over to (Y/n), giving her a big group hug. Shouting broken “thank you’s” as they cried happy tears at being given a chance. “We’ll be good to you, I promise, we’ll give you all the love we have and more,” Sunoo said. Moa cleared her throat to gain the soulmates’ attention. “You better treat her well, take care of her. If you dare to hurt her again, I’ll hurt you. Do you understand?” “We promise, we’ll treat her right this time,” Jay said as he met Moa’s stern eyes. “Good, (Y/n)?” “Yeah, Moa?” “Kyle and I will leave now, we’re going back to the hotel. Wanna come with us or stay with them?” (Y/n) looked around her at the seven boys who still held her close in a hug. “I’ll stay, I’ll call you tomorrow,” And so Moa and Kyle left, leaving the eighth soulmates to mend their wounds together.
With time, all wounds can heal. Enhypen did as they promised. (Y/n) and Enhypen lived happily together, moving toward the future and away from the past. The eighth of them were happier than ever and soon enough, they barely remembered the pain they felt in the past. Fated to be together, fated forever.

Third Person POV
Beomgyu had always found solace in the melodies he crafted, pouring his heart and soul into every note he played. It was during one of his impromptu piano sessions in the school's music room that fate intervened, weaving the threads of their destinies together. (Y/n) wandered the halls aimlessly, the strains of music drawing her like a magnet. Intrigued, she followed the sound until she found herself standing at the threshold of the music room, where a boy her age sat at the piano, lost in his own world of music. Mesmerized by both the beauty of the melody and the boy who created it, (Y/n) couldn't tear her gaze away. And as Beomgyu turned to find her standing there, a smile lighting up her face, he felt something stir within him, something he couldn't quite explain. They exchanged shy introductions, their hearts beating in tandem with the rhythm of the music that surrounded them. In that moment, two souls collided, bound together by the invisible threads of fate and the shared love of music.
From that serendipitous moment in the music room, Beomgyu and (Y/n) were inseparable. Their love grew like a melody, sweet and harmonious, filling every corner of their hearts. They spent endless hours together, sharing their hopes, dreams, and fears as they navigated the complexities of adolescence hand in hand. It didn't take long for them to realize the depth of their feelings for each other, and with hearts brimming with courage, they confessed their love under the soft glow of moonlight, their voices trembling with emotion. From that day forward, they were no longer just two individuals; they were a united force, bound by an unbreakable bond forged in the fires of passion and devotion. Their love was a symphony, each moment a beautiful crescendo building towards a future filled with endless possibilities.
As the years passed, Beomgyu and (Y/n) remained steadfast in their love, their bond growing stronger with each passing day. They journeyed through the trials and triumphs of young adulthood together, facing the world hand in hand.
Beomgyu pursued his passion for music with unwavering determination, honing his skills as a songwriter and musician. His melodies became a reflection of their love, each chord a testament to the depth of his feelings for (Y/n). Through his music, he poured out his heart, weaving their story into every verse, every chorus.
(Y/n), too, found her place in the world, her dreams intertwining with Beomgyu's as they embarked on their journey together. She pursued her own passions with fervor, her unwavering support serving as a constant source of strength for Beomgyu as he chased his dreams.
Together, they navigated the highs and lows of life, finding solace in each other's embrace during moments of doubt and uncertainty. Their love was a beacon of hope, guiding them through the darkest of times and illuminating the path ahead with the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
And though challenges arose, threatening to test the foundation of their love, Beomgyu and (Y/n) stood unwavering, their hearts intertwined in an unbreakable bond forged in the fires of adversity. For they knew that as long as they had each other, they could weather any storm that came their way.
As they stood on the precipice of the future, their hearts filled with hope and anticipation, Beomgyu and (Y/n) knew that their love would endure, transcending time and space to weave their destinies together for eternity.
As the fifth anniversary of their love approached, Beomgyu felt a surge of excitement coursing through his veins. This wasn't just any anniversary—it was a milestone, a testament to the enduring strength of their love. And he was determined to make it unforgettable.
With meticulous care and unwavering determination, Beomgyu set out to plan the perfect proposal for (Y/n). He enlisted the help of his closest friends, who eagerly joined forces to bring his vision to life. Together, they plotted and schemed, each detail carefully orchestrated to ensure that this day would be nothing short of magical.
On the morning of their anniversary, Beomgyu woke with a nervous energy thrumming beneath his skin. He double-checked every detail of his plan, making sure that everything was in place for the evening ahead. With a fluttering heart and a sense of anticipation building within him, he set out to prepare for the momentous occasion.
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the beach, Beomgyu and (Y/n) arrived hand in hand, the sea breeze tousling their hair. What (Y/n) didn't know was that this wasn't just a casual outing—it was the beginning of a new chapter in their love story.
With a smile playing at the corners of his lips, Beomgyu led (Y/n) to a secluded spot on the sand, where a blanket was spread out beneath the starlit sky. The sound of crashing waves provided the soundtrack to their evening as they settled in, the air buzzing with anticipation.
As they sat together, sharing stories and laughter, Beomgyu's heart beat a frantic rhythm in his chest. And then, as the moment of truth drew near, he took (Y/n)'s hand in his, his gaze locked with hers, the world falling away around them.
With a trembling voice and tears glistening in his eyes, Beomgyu poured out his heart, professing his love for (Y/n) in words that danced on the breeze. And then, with a shaking hand, he produced a small velvet box from his pocket, opening it to reveal the shimmering ring nestled within.
"Will you marry me?" he whispered, his voice barely more than a breath, his heart hanging in the balance.
And at that moment, as (Y/n)'s eyes widened with shock and joy, Beomgyu knew that this—this was the best day of his life so far.
As Beomgyu's heartfelt proposal hung in the air, (Y/n)'s eyes filled with tears of joy, her heart overflowing with love. With a radiant smile, she nodded eagerly, her voice choked with emotion as she whispered, "Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!"
And in that moment, as the setting sun painted the sky in hues of orange, pink, and purple, Beomgyu and (Y/n) shared a tender, passionate kiss, sealing their love and commitment to each other under the watchful gaze of the heavens above. Time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in each other's embrace, the world around them fading into insignificance.
Wrapped in the warmth of their love, they knew that their journey together was only just beginning. With the promise of forever shining brightly in their hearts, Beomgyu and (Y/n) embarked on the next chapter of their love story, hand in hand, hearts entwined, and souls united as one.
As they watched the sun dip below the horizon, casting a blanket of stars across the night sky, they knew that their love would endure for eternity, a beacon of hope and light guiding them through the darkest of nights and the brightest of days.
Together, they stood against the backdrop of the universe, their love a masterpiece painted across the canvas of time, a testament to the power of love and the beauty of two souls finding their way back to each other, time and time again.
As Beomgyu and (Y/n) made their way home, their hearts still soaring from the magic of their engagement, fate had other plans in store. In the blink of an eye, their joyous journey was interrupted by the screech of tires and the sickening crunch of metal.
The world seemed to tilt on its axis as their car was violently jolted, spinning out of control in a cacophony of chaos and confusion. Time slowed to a crawl as Beomgyu's desperate cries filled the air, his hands tightening around the steering wheel in a futile attempt to regain control.
And then, with a deafening crash, everything went dark.
When Beomgyu finally regained consciousness, his head swimming and his body aching, he found himself surrounded by the wreckage of their car. Panic surged through him as he frantically searched for (Y/n), his heart seizing in his chest at the sight of her motionless form beside him.
With trembling hands, he reached out to gently shake her, his voice trembling with fear as he called out her name. And then, as if in a dream, (Y/n) stirred, her eyelids fluttering open to reveal dazed and confused eyes.
Relief flooded through Beomgyu like a tidal wave as he pulled her into his arms, holding her close as if afraid she might vanish into thin air. But even as he held her, a sense of dread gnawed at the edges of his consciousness, the realization sinking in that their lives would never be the same again.
As the sirens wailed in the distance and the lights of emergency vehicles illuminated the night sky, Beomgyu and (Y/n) clung to each other amidst the wreckage, their love serving as a beacon of hope in the darkness that surrounded them.
But for now, in this moment of uncertainty and fear, all that mattered was that they were together, united against the chaos of the world, their love a light in the darkness guiding them towards an uncertain future.
Beomgyu's heart pounded in his chest as he struggled to make sense of his surroundings. The sterile scent of antiseptic hung heavy in the air, and the steady beep of machines served as a constant reminder of the fragility of life. Desperate to find (Y/n), he called out her name, his voice hoarse with emotion.
The nurses rushed to his side, their faces etched with concern as they gently explained the situation. (Y/n) was still in the operating room, they told him, her condition critical but stable. Beomgyu's breath caught in his throat at the news, his mind reeling with fear and uncertainty.
With trembling hands, he allowed the nurses to perform their examinations, their touch gentle but clinical as they assessed his injuries. But all the while, his thoughts remained fixated on (Y/n), his heart aching with the need to see her, to hold her close and reassure himself that she was alive and well.
As the minutes stretched into hours, Beomgyu found himself consumed by a sense of helplessness, his world narrowing to a single, all-consuming desire: to be by (Y/n)'s side. As he lay in his hospital bed, his body battered and broken, he made a silent vow to himself: no matter what it took, he would find a way to bring her back to him.
For she was his everything, his reason for living, and he would move heaven and earth to ensure that she emerged from this trial stronger than ever before.
And so, with determination burning bright in his eyes, Beomgyu closed his eyes and whispered a silent prayer to the universe, a plea for (Y/n)'s swift recovery and a future filled with love and happiness.
Relief flooded through Beomgyu like a tidal wave as the nurse delivered the news. With a heart full of hope and trepidation, he followed her down the sterile hospital corridors, each step bringing him closer to (Y/n)'s bedside.
As he entered the room, his breath caught in his throat at the sight of her lying there, pale and still, surrounded by a tangle of wires and tubes. His heart ached at the sight of her, so fragile and vulnerable, yet still so undeniably beautiful.
With trembling hands, Beomgyu approached the bed, his eyes never leaving (Y/n)'s face as he pulled up a chair beside her. Gently, he reached out to brush a stray lock of hair from her forehead, his touch feather-light against her skin.
"Hey there, love," he whispered, his voice barely more than a whisper as he leaned in closer, his lips brushing against her cheek. "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."
And then, with a heavy heart and a soul weighed down by worry, Beomgyu settled into the chair beside (Y/n)'s bed, his gaze never wavering from her face as he waited for her to awaken.
Hours passed in a blur of anxious anticipation, each moment stretching into eternity as Beomgyu sat vigil by (Y/n)'s side. And then, just as he felt himself beginning to lose hope, a soft sigh escaped (Y/n)'s lips, her eyelids fluttering open to reveal dazed and confused eyes.
"(Y/n)?" Beomgyu breathed, his heart pounding in his chest as he leaned in closer, his eyes searching hers for any sign of recognition.
And then, in that moment, as their gazes locked and their souls connected, Beomgyu knew that everything would be okay. For they had weathered the storm together, and nothing in this world could ever tear them apart.
“Who are you?”
Beomgyu's world shattered in an instant as (Y/n)'s words pierced his heart like a dagger. The weight of her question hung heavy in the air, each syllable a crushing blow to his spirit. She didn't remember him. She didn't remember their love.
A suffocating wave of despair washed over him, stealing the air from his lungs and leaving him gasping for breath. He felt as though he were drowning, his mind consumed by a swirling vortex of confusion and anguish.
His body trembled uncontrollably as panic tightened its grip around his chest, squeezing the life from his veins. He couldn't breathe, couldn't think, couldn't do anything but succumb to the overwhelming tide of emotion crashing over him.
The nurses rushed to his side, their voices a distant echo in the chaos of his mind as they guided him out of the room. His legs felt like lead, his steps unsteady as he stumbled blindly down the corridor, his vision blurred by tears he couldn't hold back.
And then, as the world spun around him and the darkness threatened to consume him whole, Beomgyu collapsed against the cold, unforgiving floor, his body wracked with sobs of despair.
For in that moment, as he lay broken and defeated, Beomgyu knew that he had lost more than just the love of his life. He had lost a part of himself, a part that could never be reclaimed.
And as the tears continued to fall and the echoes of his anguish reverberated through the empty halls, Beomgyu realized that he was truly alone.
As the days dragged on in the wake of the accident, Beomgyu found himself adrift in a sea of emptiness, his heart weighed down by the burden of (Y/n)'s forgotten love. Every moment without her felt like an eternity, each passing second a painful reminder of the gaping void that now occupied his soul.
Despite his own pain, Beomgyu knew that (Y/n) needed her family now more than ever. And so, with a heavy heart and a sense of resignation gnawing at his insides, he made the agonizing decision to reach out to them, to explain the situation and seek their help in guiding her through this tumultuous time.
The phone call was a blur of stilted conversation and forced pleasantries, the distance between them palpable even through the static of the line. (Y/n)'s parents offered words of comfort and reassurance, their voices laced with sympathy and concern. But try as they might, they could offer little solace to the shattered remains of Beomgyu's heart.
As the call came to an end and the line fell silent once more, Beomgyu felt a sense of desolation wash over him like a tidal wave. He was alone, utterly and completely alone, with nothing but his own thoughts and the echo of (Y/n)'s voice haunting his every waking moment.
Days turned into nights, and still, Beomgyu found himself trapped in the suffocating embrace of his grief. His once vibrant spirit had been extinguished, replaced by a hollow shell of the man he used to be.
And as he lay alone in the darkness, his tears a silent testament to the pain that consumed him, Beomgyu knew that he would never be whole again. For the love he had lost was a wound that would never fully heal, a scar etched into the fabric of his being for all eternity.
Yeonjun's heart weighed heavy with concern as he made his way to the hospital, his mind racing with thoughts of (Y/n) and the devastating impact the accident had wrought upon her life. He knew that he couldn't stand idly by while his friend suffered, that he had to do everything in his power to help her, to bring back the memories that had been stolen from her.
As he arrived at the hospital, Yeonjun's steps faltered for a moment, the gravity of the situation hitting him like a ton of bricks. But he quickly gathered his resolve, steeling himself for the task that lay ahead.
With a determined expression set upon his face, Yeonjun made his way to (Y/n)'s room, where her parents sat by her bedside, their faces etched with worry and exhaustion.
"Mr. and Mrs. [Last Name]," Yeonjun greeted them with a respectful nod, his voice soft but filled with conviction. "I know this must be a difficult time for all of us, but I want you to know that I'm here to help in any way I can."
(Y/n)'s parents looked up at Yeonjun with a mixture of surprise and gratitude, their eyes reflecting the pain and uncertainty that plagued their hearts.
"We appreciate your kindness, Yeonjun," (Y/n)'s mother said, her voice trembling slightly with emotion. "But we're at a loss as to how to help (Y/n). She doesn't remember anything, not even us."
Yeonjun's heart ached at the despair in her voice, his mind racing as he searched for a solution. And then, an idea sparked to life within him, a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness that threatened to consume them all.
"I have an idea," Yeonjun said, his voice filled with determination. "It may be a long shot, but I think there's something we can try."
And with that, Yeonjun outlined his plan to (Y/n)'s parents, his words infused with a sense of hope and optimism that had been sorely lacking in the days since the accident.
For he knew that even in the darkest of times, there was always a sliver of light waiting to be found. And if there was even the slightest chance that they could bring back (Y/n)'s memories, then it was a chance worth taking.
Yeonjun's heart raced with newfound determination as he clung to the glimmer of hope that had ignited within him. Beomgyu's music—it was the key, the thread that could unravel the tangled web of (Y/n)'s lost memories. He had to believe it, had to cling to the possibility that the melodies Beomgyu had poured his heart and soul into could serve as a lifeline to the woman he loved.
With a sense of urgency propelling him forward, Yeonjun dashed back to Beomgyu's apartment, his mind ablaze with thoughts of the plan that had taken root in his mind. He burst through the door, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he searched for his friend amidst the shadows that loomed like specters in the dimly lit room.
"Beomgyu!" Yeonjun called out, his voice echoing in the silence that enveloped the apartment. "We need to go to the hospital, now!"
Beomgyu looked up from where he sat slumped on the couch, his eyes hollow and haunted, his spirit broken by the weight of his own grief. But there was a spark of something in Yeonjun's voice, a flicker of hope that refused to be extinguished.
"What's going on?" Beomgyu asked, his voice barely more than a whisper as he struggled to comprehend the urgency in his friend's words.
Yeonjun wasted no time in explaining his plan, his words tumbling out in a rush as he outlined his belief that Beomgyu's music held the power to awaken (Y/n)'s dormant memories. He pleaded with Beomgyu to come with him to the hospital, to play his songs for (Y/n) in the hopes that they would serve as a catalyst for her recovery.
For a moment, Beomgyu hesitated, the weight of his own doubts and fears threatening to crush him beneath their oppressive weight. But then, with a steely resolve burning in his eyes, he rose to his feet, his heart beating in time with the rhythm of his own determination.
"Let's go," Beomgyu said, his voice firm and unwavering as he followed Yeonjun out the door and into the unknown.
And as they made their way to the hospital, their footsteps echoing in the empty streets like a drumbeat of defiance, Beomgyu clung to the hope that had been ignited within him, praying to whatever higher power might be listening that his music would be enough to bring (Y/n) back to him.
As Beomgyu set up his small keyboard in (Y/n)'s hospital room, his heart pounded in his chest with a mixture of anticipation and fear. The weight of the moment hung heavy in the air, the room filled with a palpable tension as the doctors and nurses looked on, their expressions a mix of skepticism and cautious optimism.
Beomgyu's hands trembled as he reached out to touch the keys, his fingers dancing across the familiar patterns with a sense of urgency born of desperation. His eyes were stained with tears, his heart heavy with the knowledge that (Y/n) still didn't remember his name, still didn't remember the love they had shared.
But he refused to give up hope. Not now, not when they had come so far, when they stood on the precipice of a miracle that could change everything.
With a deep breath and a silent prayer on his lips, Beomgyu began to play. The melody flowed from his fingertips like water from a spring, each note a brushstroke painting a portrait of their love, a testament to the bond that had once held them together.
And as the music filled the room, weaving its way into the very fabric of (Y/n)'s soul, Beomgyu felt something shift within him, a glimmer of recognition sparking to life in her eyes.
For a fleeting moment, it was as if time stood still as if the world held its breath in anticipation of what was to come. And then, with a soft sigh, (Y/n) spoke, her voice barely more than a whisper.
"I remember this melody," she said, her words a balm to Beomgyu's wounded heart. "It's beautiful."
Tears welled in Beomgyu's eyes as he looked into (Y/n)'s gaze, seeing a flicker of something familiar, something he had feared lost forever. And in that moment, he knew that no matter what the future held, they would face it together, united by the power of love and the music that had brought them back to each other once more.
Week after week, Beomgyu returned to (Y/n)'s hospital room, his heart heavy with both hope and apprehension. With each visit, he watched as fragments of her memory began to resurface, like puzzle pieces slowly falling into place to reveal the picture of her past.
But alongside the moments of clarity and recognition, there were still shadows lurking in the corners of (Y/n)'s mind. Her short-term memory remained elusive, slipping through her fingers like grains of sand, leaving her grasping at memories that seemed just beyond her reach.
And yet, Beomgyu refused to lose faith. He continued to play his music for (Y/n), pouring his heart and soul into every note in the hopes that it would serve as a lifeline to the woman he loved.
With each melody that filled the room, Beomgyu watched as (Y/n)'s eyes lit up with a spark of recognition, her fingers tapping along to the rhythm as if trying to unlock the secrets hidden within the music.
And though she still struggled to remember his name, Beomgyu could see the progress she was making, the way her memories began to stitch themselves back together like a tapestry woven from the threads of her past.
But for Beomgyu, the most important thing was that (Y/n) was still fighting, still clinging to the hope that one day she would reclaim the memories that had been stolen from her.
And as he stood by her side, holding her hand and whispering words of encouragement into the silence of the hospital room, Beomgyu knew that no matter how long the road ahead might be, he would walk it with her, every step of the way.
For theirs was a love that transcended time and space, a bond forged in the fires of adversity and strengthened by the trials they had faced together. And no matter what the future held, Beomgyu would never give up hope that one day, (Y/n) would say his name once again.
Each week, as Beomgyu stepped into (Y/n)'s hospital room, his heart heavy with the weight of unspoken longing, he couldn't shake the feeling of deja vu that washed over him like a tidal wave. It was as if time stood still in that room, trapped in an endless cycle of repetition and heartache.
As he approached (Y/n)'s bedside, his footsteps echoing in the silence of the room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of dread creeping over him. The familiar routine of introducing himself, of reaching out to a stranger who bore the face of the woman he loved, felt like a cruel twist of fate, a constant reminder of the gulf that lay between them.
And yet, despite the pain that threatened to consume him, Beomgyu refused to give up hope. Each week, he poured his heart and soul into his music, playing for (Y/n) with a fervor born of desperation, hoping against hope that this would be the moment when she would finally remember.
But week after week, his efforts were met with silence, (Y/n)'s eyes devoid of recognition as she gazed upon him with a mix of confusion and curiosity. It was like trying to break through a wall of glass, his words and music bouncing off the surface without ever making a dent.
And as the weeks turned into months, Beomgyu found himself trapped in a never-ending cycle of deja vu, each visit to (Y/n)'s bedside a painful reminder of the love that once was and the love that could be again if only she would remember.
But still, he refused to give up. For in the depths of his heart, he knew that their love was worth fighting for, worth enduring the pain and the uncertainty for the chance to hold her in his arms once more.
And so, with a heavy heart and a soul weighed down by the burden of unspoken longing, Beomgyu continued to visit (Y/n) each week, his love for her burning bright even in the darkest of times.
As the seasons changed and a year slipped by, (Y/n) was finally deemed well enough to return home, her recovery a slow and arduous journey fraught with uncertainty and setbacks. And yet, despite the progress she had made, there was one name that continued to elude her, one memory that remained stubbornly out of reach.
Beomgyu.
Try as she might, (Y/n) couldn't seem to recall the face or the voice of the piano boy who had once held her heart in the palm of his hand. His name felt like a puzzle piece that refused to fit into the intricate tapestry of her memories, a glaring absence in an otherwise complete picture.
And for Beomgyu, each passing day without (Y/n) by his side felt like a slow descent into madness, his heart aching with the pain of her absence. He had held onto hope for so long, clinging to the belief that one day she would remember him, that their love would triumph over the barriers of her fractured mind.
But as the months stretched into years and (Y/n)'s memory remained stubbornly elusive, Beomgyu found himself grappling with a sense of despair unlike anything he had ever known. It was like losing her all over again, the agony of her absence tearing at the very fabric of his soul.
And yet, despite the pain and the heartache, Beomgyu refused to give up hope. For deep down, he knew that their love was stronger than the vagaries of memory, that even if (Y/n) couldn't remember him now, there was still a chance that she would one day find her way back to him.
And so, with a heavy heart and a soul weighed down by the burden of unspoken longing, Beomgyu continued to hold onto hope, his love for (Y/n) burning bright even in the darkest of times.
For he knew that no matter how long the road ahead might be, their love would endure, a beacon of light guiding them through the darkest of nights and the brightest of days.
As the weeks turned into months and (Y/n) settled back into the familiarity of her parents' home, Beomgyu's visits became less frequent, until eventually, they ceased altogether. The pain of seeing her, of being so close yet so far from the love they once shared, had become too much to bear.
For Beomgyu, each visit had been like reopening a wound that refused to heal, the memories of their life together a constant reminder of everything they had lost. The sound of his music echoing through the empty corridors of (Y/n)'s mind served only to deepen the chasm between them, each note a dagger that pierced his heart with every melody.
And so, with a heavy heart and a soul weighed down by the burden of unspoken longing, Beomgyu retreated into the silence of his own grief, his memories of their life together a bittersweet symphony that played on a loop in the recesses of his mind.
Each resemblance to what once was, each flicker of recognition in (Y/n)'s eyes that never came, slowly chipped away at his soul, until all that was left was a hollow shell of the man he used to be. The pain of their lost love weighed heavy on his heart, dragging him down into the depths of despair with each passing day.
And as he stood alone in the silence of his empty apartment, the echoes of their laughter haunting the corners of his mind, Beomgyu knew that he had lost more than just (Y/n). He had lost a part of himself, a part that could never be reclaimed.
But even in the darkness, a small ember of hope still flickered within him, a reminder that love, no matter how lost or broken, could never truly be extinguished. And as he closed his eyes and let the tears fall, Beomgyu made a silent vow to himself: to carry the memories of their love with him always, even as he walked the lonely road ahead.
As the sweet piano notes that had become a familiar presence in (Y/n)'s home fell silent, the emptiness that filled the air seemed to weigh heavily on her heart. Though she couldn't recall the face or name of the person who had played those melodies, their absence left a void that echoed throughout the once lively house.
(Y/n) found herself drawn to the room where the piano stood, its keys untouched and gathering dust. With each passing day, the longing to remember grew stronger within her, a nagging ache that refused to be ignored. She yearned to unravel the mysteries of her past, to reclaim the memories that had slipped through her fingers like grains of sand.
Yeonjun, ever the devoted friend, tried his best to help (Y/n) piece together the fragments of her shattered memory, but despite his efforts, the memories remained stubbornly out of reach. The name "Beomgyu" felt like a distant echo in the recesses of her mind, just beyond her grasp.
And yet, (Y/n) refused to give up hope. She poured over old photographs and listened to recordings of the piano melodies that had once filled her home, hoping against hope that something would spark a flicker of recognition, a glimmer of memory.
She wanted to remember. She wanted it so badly.
Each day, (Y/n) felt as though she were standing on the edge of a precipice, teetering on the brink of something profound and life-altering. And though the journey ahead was fraught with uncertainty and fear, she knew that she couldn't turn back.
For buried deep within her heart, beneath the layers of forgotten memories and lost dreams, (Y/n) held onto a glimmer of hope—a belief that love, true and enduring, would always find a way to overcome even the greatest of obstacles.
And as she closed her eyes and let the haunting strains of Beomgyu's music wash over her, (Y/n) made a silent vow to herself: to never stop searching, to never stop hoping, until she had unlocked the secrets of her past and found her way back to the love she had lost.
As the night sky stretched out above them, a tapestry of stars glittering in the darkness, Yeonjun took (Y/n)'s hand in his, a gentle smile playing on his lips.
"Let's go for a walk," he suggested softly, his voice carrying on the gentle breeze that stirred the night air. "I want to show you something."
(Y/n) hesitated for a moment, uncertainty flickering in her eyes, but something in Yeonjun's earnest gaze convinced her to take a chance. And so, hand in hand, they ventured out into the cool night air, their footsteps echoing in the quiet stillness of the night.
As they walked, Yeonjun couldn't shake the feeling of anticipation that coursed through him, the hope that tonight might be the night when everything changed. He glanced ahead and saw Beomgyu standing under the canopy of stars, his silhouette a familiar yet distant figure against the night sky.
With a silent prayer in his heart, Yeonjun urged (Y/n) forward, his heart pounding in his chest as he willed fate to intervene. Perhaps if she ran into Beomgyu here, surrounded by the beauty of the night, she would remember. Perhaps the stars themselves would guide her back to him.
But as they drew closer, (Y/n) remained oblivious to the figure standing just ahead of them, her gaze fixed on the shimmering expanse of the night sky above. And though Yeonjun's heart sank with disappointment, he couldn't bring himself to give up hope.
As Beomgyu caught sight of Yeonjun and (Y/n) walking hand in hand beneath the canopy of stars, a rush of emotions flooded through him like a tidal wave. His heart ached with longing, his soul reaching out to her with a yearning that knew no bounds.
In that moment, he couldn't tear his gaze away from her, from the woman he had loved with every fiber of his being, the woman who still held a piece of his heart even as she stood just out of reach.
Memories of their time together flooded his mind, like fragments of a dream that he couldn't quite grasp. He remembered the day of the accident, the day they had gotten engaged, the promise he had made to her as they watched the setting sun paint the sky in hues of orange and pink.
"I'll always be here for you," he had whispered, his voice filled with conviction as he slipped the engagement ring onto her finger, a symbol of their love and commitment to each other.
And now, as he stood beneath the starlit sky, the weight of the ring pressing against his pocket, Beomgyu couldn't help but wonder if perhaps tonight was the night when everything would change. Perhaps tonight, under the watchful gaze of the stars above, (Y/n) would remember him, would remember the love they had shared.
With trembling hands, Beomgyu took a hesitant step forward, his heart pounding in his chest as he dared to hope for a miracle. He wanted nothing more than to hold her in his arms like he used to, to whisper words of love and devotion into her ear until she remembered.
But even as he longed to reach out to her, to bridge the distance that separated them, Beomgyu knew that he couldn't force her to remember. Memories, like stars in the night sky, were fleeting and elusive, and all he could do was wait and hope for the day when (Y/n) would find her way back to him.
And so, with a heavy heart and a soul weighed down by the burden of unspoken longing, Beomgyu watched from a distance as Yeonjun and (Y/n) disappeared into the night, their silhouettes fading into the darkness like shadows on the wind.
But even as they disappeared from view, Beomgyu held onto hope, a flickering ember of light burning bright within him as he vowed to never give up on the love that had once defined his very existence.
For in the end, he knew that love was stronger than memory, stronger than time itself, and no matter how long the road ahead might be, he would always be waiting for (Y/n) with open arms and an open heart.
With a heavy heart and a soul weighed down by the weight of unspoken sorrow, Beomgyu made his way to (Y/n)'s home, his steps slow and deliberate as he prepared to face the painful truth that had been haunting him for far too long.
Two years had passed since the accident, two years of hoping and praying for a miracle that never came. Fate, it seemed, had made its decision, and no amount of wishing or yearning could change the hand they had been dealt.
With a heavy heart and a soul weighed down by the weight of unspoken sorrow, Beomgyu made his way to (Y/n)'s home, his footsteps slow and measured as he walked the familiar path one last time. The weight of the engagement ring in his pocket felt like a burden too heavy to bear, a constant reminder of the love they had shared and the dreams they had once dared to dream.
As he stood before (Y/n)'s doorstep, his heart pounding in his chest, Beomgyu knew that this was the moment he had been dreading, the moment when he would have to say goodbye to the woman he had loved with every fiber of his being.
With trembling hands, he reached into his pocket and retrieved the ring, its glimmering surface catching the soft light of the moon as he held it in his palm. It felt like a piece of his heart, a symbol of the love that had once bound them together, and now, it was time to set it free.
Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Beomgyu knocked softly on the door, his heart in his throat as he waited for (Y/n) to answer. And when she did, the sight of her took his breath away, her beauty undimmed by the passage of time.
"(Y/n)," he began, his voice barely above a whisper as he held out the ring to her. "I want you to have this. It's... it's the ring I proposed to you with. I want you to have it, to remember..."
But before he could finish his sentence, (Y/n) reached out and took the ring from his hand, her eyes brimming with unshed tears as she gazed up at him with a mixture of sadness and understanding.
"Thank you," she whispered, her voice barely audible above the sound of their beating hearts. "Thank you for everything."
And then, without another word, Beomgyu felt the tears begin to fall as he pulled (Y/n) into his arms, holding her close one last time. It was a bittersweet embrace, filled with the echoes of a love that could never be, a love that had been lost to the sands of time.
But even as he held her, Beomgyu knew that it was time to let go, to release her from the chains of their shared past and set her free to find her own path in life. And as they pulled away from each other, their eyes locked in a silent exchange of understanding, Beomgyu knew that he would always carry a piece of (Y/n) with him, a piece of her heart that would forever be intertwined with his own.
With a heavy heart and a soul weighed down by the burden of unspoken longing, Beomgyu turned and walked away, his footsteps echoing in the silence of the night as he left behind the love he had once held so dear.
For sometimes, he realized, fate had other plans. And even though their story had come to an end, Beomgyu knew that the memories of their love would live on forever in his heart.
As (Y/n) sat on her bed, the weight of the ring in her hand felt like a tangible reminder of a past she couldn't quite grasp. She remembered the man who had given it to her, remembered his gentle smile and the sadness in his eyes, but his name remained just out of reach, a phantom echo in the recesses of her mind.
And yet, as she stared at the ring, tracing the intricate design with her fingertips, a flood of memories washed over her like a tidal wave. She saw flashes of a beach, the soft sand beneath her feet, the gentle crash of waves against the shore. She saw the sky ablaze with hues of pink and orange as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the world in shades of fire and gold.
And then, she heard it—a warm and familiar voice whispering words of love and devotion into her ear, the sound sending shivers down her spine. "I love you," the voice said, its timbre like music to her ears, filling her with a sense of warmth and longing that she couldn't quite explain.
In that moment, (Y/n) felt a spark of recognition flicker to life within her, a sense of connection that transcended the boundaries of memory and time. Though she couldn't remember his name, she knew deep down that the man who had given her this ring had been someone special, someone who had touched her heart in ways she couldn't fully comprehend.
With a sense of determination settling over her like a cloak, (Y/n) made a silent vow to herself: to keep searching, to keep reaching for the memories that lay just beyond her grasp. For she knew that somewhere, deep within the recesses of her mind, the answers she sought were waiting to be found.
And as she slipped the ring onto her finger, feeling its weight against her skin like a promise of things to come, (Y/n) closed her eyes and whispered a silent prayer into the night, a prayer for guidance and for clarity, for the strength to remember the love that had once been hers.
For even if the road ahead was long and uncertain, (Y/n) knew that she would never stop searching for the truth, for the answers that lay hidden within the depths of her own heart.
As (Y/n) stepped out onto the street, her mind focused on the simple task of buying snacks, she was unaware of the danger that lurked just around the corner. Oblivious to the world around her, she continued on her way, the sounds of the city fading into the background as she lost herself in her thoughts.
But then, as she reached the middle of the street, a sense of unease washed over her like a wave, a feeling of impending danger that sent a shiver down her spine. And before she could react, she heard the screech of tires and the roar of an engine, the sound of impending disaster echoing in her ears.
In that split second, time seemed to stand still as (Y/n) found herself frozen in place, her heart pounding in her chest as she stared down the oncoming car, its headlights bearing down on her like a freight train hurtling towards its target.
And then, just as the car was about to make impact, a pair of strong arms wrapped around her, pulling her close to their chest with a force that knocked the breath from her lungs. She felt herself being lifted off her feet, carried to safety just in the nick of time as the car barreled past with inches to spare.
As the adrenaline coursed through her veins, (Y/n) clung to her savior, her heart pounding in her chest as she struggled to catch her breath. And as she looked up into the face of the person who had saved her, she felt a surge of recognition wash over her like a tidal wave.
It was him—the man from her memories, the man whose name still eluded her but whose presence felt like coming home. In that moment, as they stood together in the aftermath of the near miss, (Y/n) felt a sense of connection that transcended the boundaries of time and memory, a bond forged in the fires of adversity.
And as she looked into his eyes, she knew with a certainty that defied explanation: fate had brought them together once again, and this time, she wouldn't let him slip away.
As the word "Beomgyu" slipped past (Y/n)'s lips, it hung in the air like a melody, a single note that reverberated through the silence of the street. And though she couldn't explain the sudden surge of recognition that washed over her, she knew with a certainty that defied logic: this was his name, the name of the man who had saved her life and captured her heart.
Beomgyu's breath caught in his throat as he stared down at her, his heart pounding in his chest with a ferocity that threatened to consume him. It was as if time stood still in that moment, the world falling away until there was only the two of them, bound together by the invisible threads of fate and destiny.
"Say it louder, please," Beomgyu whispered, his voice barely above a whisper as he pleaded with her to speak his name once more. His heart hung in the balance, teetering on the edge of hope and despair as he waited with bated breath for her response.
And then, as if guided by some unseen force, (Y/n) took a deep breath and said it again, louder this time, with a sense of conviction that sent shivers down Beomgyu's spine.
"Beomgyu."
The sound of her voice filled him with a sense of wonder and awe, like the first rays of sunlight breaking through the clouds after a storm. It was a name that held within it the promise of a love that had transcended time and space, a love that had endured even in the face of overwhelming odds.
And as he looked into her eyes, Beomgyu felt a sense of peace settle over him like a warm blanket, knowing that no matter what trials lay ahead, they would face them together, united by the bond that had been forged between them.
"Thank you," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion as he pulled her into his arms, holding her close as if he never wanted to let her go. "Thank you for remembering."
And as they stood together in the glow of the streetlights, their hearts beating as one, (Y/n) knew with a certainty that defied explanation: fate had brought them together for a reason, and nothing in this world could ever tear them apart again.
As (Y/n) stood there, wrapped in Beomgyu's embrace, a sense of clarity washed over her like a cleansing tide. Though she still couldn't recall every detail of their past, she knew with a certainty that defied explanation: her future was with him, and nothing in this world could ever change that.
With tears glistening in her eyes, (Y/n) looked up at Beomgyu, her voice filled with conviction as she spoke the words that echoed in her heart.
"I remember that my future is you, Beomgyu," she whispered, her words a solemn vow that hung in the air between them like a promise. "My future is with you."
And as she spoke, Beomgyu felt a sense of wonder and awe wash over him, like a wave crashing against the shore of his soul. It was a moment of profound realization, a moment when the pieces of their shattered past began to fall into place, forming a mosaic of love and hope that stretched out before them like a roadmap to eternity.
With a smile that lit up the darkness of the night, Beomgyu took (Y/n)'s hand in his, his heart overflowing with gratitude and joy. In that moment, as they stood together beneath the starlit sky, he knew with a certainty that defied explanation: their love was stronger than fate, stronger than memory, stronger than anything this world could ever throw their way.
And as they walked hand in hand into the uncertain future that lay ahead, (Y/n) and Beomgyu knew that no matter what trials they faced, they would face them together, united in a love that had endured the test of time.
For in the end, they had found each other once again, and in each other's arms, they knew they had found home.

The first day of senior year was both exciting and nerve-wracking. As I entered the classroom, my eyes caught sight of him – Zhang Hao. His mere presence seemed to illuminate the room, and my heart skipped a beat. I found an empty seat near the back, but my gaze lingered on him as he engaged in conversation with classmates, effortlessly blending into the vibrant tapestry of high school life.
Days turned into weeks, and my infatuation with Zhang Hao only deepened. He was not just a face in the crowd; he was a magnetic force that drew my attention like a moth to a flame. I admired him from afar, appreciating the way he treated everyone with kindness, his laughter echoing through the halls.
One day, summoning every ounce of courage, I decided it was time to break free from my silent admiration. After all, how could I ever know if there was a chance for something more if I didn't try? I approached him after class, my palms sweating with nervous anticipation.
"Hey, Hao, right?" I mustered a smile, hoping it didn't come off as awkward. "I'm (Y/n), we're in the same class."
His warm brown eyes met mine, and a friendly grin lit up his face. "Yeah, (Y/n)! I've seen you around. What's up?"
I stumbled through some small talk, feeling a mixture of excitement and anxiety. Hao, true to his nature, was easy to talk to. We discussed classes, hobbies, and before I knew it, we were laughing about something silly.
Days turned into weeks of this routine – shared conversations, stolen glances, and an ever-growing bond. Yet, despite our connection, I couldn't shake the uncertainty about his feelings. Sometimes, he'd look at me with a gaze that hinted at something more, while other times, his friendliness seemed to extend to everyone equally.
As our friendship blossomed, so did my feelings. I found myself yearning for more, caught in the delicate dance of teenage emotions. The question lingered in the air like an unspoken secret: Did Zhang Hao feel the same way, or was I merely another friend in his life?
Summer break felt like an eternity. I scrolled through my social media feed, catching glimpses of Hao's life through the snippets he shared online. As the days turned into weeks, I told myself that the infatuation I harbored for him would dissipate with time. After all, how could a crush survive the absence of its subject?
But as I walked through the school doors on the first day of the second year, my heart betrayed my rational thoughts. There he was, Zhang Hao, with that infectious smile that could light up the darkest room. It had been weeks since I'd seen him, yet the sight of him ignited a familiar flutter in my chest.
"Hey, (Y/n)!" Hao's voice reached me, and I turned to find him approaching with that trademark friendliness. "How was your summer?"
"Oh, it was good," I stammered, attempting to sound casual while my heart raced. "Yours?"
He animatedly shared tales of his summer adventures, and I couldn't help but hang on to every word. The casual conversations continued, and we fell back into the rhythm of friendship as if the break had never happened.
Throughout the second year, Hao and I became inseparable. We shared inside jokes, studied together, and attended school events as a pair. It felt like a dream, and yet, my heart couldn't escape the reality that lurked beneath the surface. The more time we spent together, the deeper my feelings for him grew.
One day, as we sat in the library, surrounded by the hushed whispers of students engrossed in their studies, I mustered the courage to address the elephant in the room. "Hao, can I ask you something?"
"Of course, (Y/n)! Anything," he replied, his eyes sincere.
I hesitated, then blurted out, "Do you ever feel like... I don't know, there's something more between us?"
His brows furrowed slightly, a hint of confusion in his expression. "What do you mean?"
I stumbled through my words, trying to convey the complexity of my emotions. "I mean, sometimes it feels like you might... like me more than just a friend, but then other times, I'm not so sure. Am I reading too much into things?"
Hao's eyes softened, and he sighed. "I never want to lead you on, (Y/n). You're an amazing friend, and I care about you a lot. But..."
"But?" I pressed, my heart pounding in my ears.
"It's just... relationships are complicated, you know? I value our friendship too much to risk losing it."
The words hung in the air, a bittersweet acknowledgment of unspoken feelings. As the school year progressed, our friendship endured, but the tension of unrequited emotions lingered, casting a shadow over the moments we shared.
The awkwardness between Hao and me dissipated with time, like a passing storm leaving behind a clear sky. We fell back into our friendly routine, laughter echoing through the hallways, shared jokes lightening up even the dullest classes. But beneath the surface, a silent struggle persisted.
I couldn't shake the dreams that lingered in the corners of my mind – dreams of a connection that went beyond friendship. The subtle touches and affectionate words from Hao fueled the flame of hope within me, a flame that refused to be extinguished. It was as if he were sending mixed signals deliberately, leaving me suspended in a state of perpetual uncertainty.
Weeks turned into months, and I found myself caught in the paradox of our relationship. Hao was my confidant, the person with whom I shared my hopes and fears, yet I couldn't escape the nagging feeling that I was merely a side character in his story. The warmth of his friendship contrasted with the chill of unspoken truths, creating a delicate balance that threatened to tip at any moment.
One evening, as we sat in his room, surrounded by the soft glow of fairy lights, I couldn't hold back the weight on my chest any longer. "Hao, can I talk to you about something?" I asked, my voice hesitant.
"Of course, (Y/n)." Hao's eyes met mine, and for a moment, I saw a flicker of understanding in his gaze.
"I... I appreciate our friendship, I really do," I began, choosing my words carefully. "But sometimes, it feels like there's something unsaid between us. Am I just imagining things, or is there something more?"
Hao sighed, his shoulders slumping. "I knew this conversation would come eventually. Look, (Y/n), you mean a lot to me. I've never met anyone as special as you, but relationships... they complicate things. I don't want to risk losing you by taking that step."
The words hit me like a wave, crashing over my carefully constructed hopes. I nodded, my heart heavy with the weight of unspoken emotions. "I understand," I whispered, a forced smile on my lips.
From that moment, our friendship continued, but a subtle shift had occurred. I navigated the halls of high school, living in Hao's presence yet feeling like a spectator in his life, a character who yearned for a different role in the narrative. The lingering touches and loving words persisted, but their meaning remained elusive, leaving me trapped in a story that seemed to have no clear resolution.
The approaching graduation day hung in the air like a bittersweet melody. Hao and I were both headed to the same university, an exciting prospect that, at the same time, carried an unspoken weight. We had chosen different majors, branching into separate paths that mirrored the growing distance I felt between us.
As we navigated the final months of high school, I couldn't escape the realization that our connection was evolving, not in the direction I had hoped. Hao remained friendly and happy in my presence, yet there was an intangible shift, like the ebb and flow of tides gently pulling us apart. We were heading toward different horizons, and I couldn't ignore the sense that I was becoming a footnote in his story.
The nights became a canvas for my unspoken desires. Each dream painted with hues of his laughter and the warmth of moments we shared. Love songs transformed into a soundtrack that echoed the symphony of my unrequited feelings. I found myself wondering if he ever thought of me, if the thought of our friendship slipping away ever crossed his mind.
The dilemma weighed heavily on my heart – should I persist in preserving the fragments of our friendship, or should I accept the inevitability of becoming a distant memory in his past? It was a question that echoed in the silence of my thoughts, a question with no easy answer.
As we donned our graduation gowns and tossed our caps into the air, I stood at the crossroads of uncertainty. The future stretched before us like an unexplored landscape, and the prospect of clinging to the familiarity of our friendship warred with the ache of unfulfilled longing. The truth was, I wasn't sure if I could continue pretending that my feelings for Hao were just a fleeting chapter of my life.
The decision loomed, and as we hugged in a farewell embrace, the unspoken words lingered in the air. "Keep in touch, (Y/n)," he said, his smile genuine but tinged with the awareness that we were venturing into separate worlds.
As I watched him walk away, disappearing into the crowd of graduates, I grappled with the choice ahead. Should I hold onto the threads of our connection, even if they threatened to unravel, or should I allow myself to become a distant echo in the corridors of his past? The answers remained elusive, shrouded in the uncertainty of the future.
The summer breeze carried with it a sense of change, and as I packed my belongings, preparing to embark on the journey to university, the anticipation of a new chapter in my life consumed my thoughts. Surprisingly, amidst the chaos of preparation, Zhang Hao's name didn't cross my mind even once. It seemed the whirlwind of excitement and nerves had swept away the lingering echoes of unspoken feelings.
The first day at university brought a mix of emotions—nervousness, excitement, and the thrill of new beginnings. Amidst the sea of unfamiliar faces, I found myself at the orientation, navigating the maze of information about classes, campus life, and dormitory rules. It was there that I met Jiwoong, a guy a year above me in the same major.
Jiwoong was a striking figure, almost god-like in his appearance. His handsome features were complemented by a warm and welcoming demeanor. He exuded confidence, and as we struck up a conversation, I couldn't help but notice the striking contrast between him and Zhang Hao. Jiwoong's humor was infectious, and in some inexplicable way, he reminded me of Hao, yet there was an undeniable difference.
As the days unfolded, Jiwoong became a reassuring presence in the whirlwind of new experiences. We attended classes together, explored the campus, and shared laughter that echoed through the hallways of the dormitory. It was a friendship that developed effortlessly, as if the universe had orchestrated our meeting to ease the transition into this new phase of life.
In Jiwoong, I found solace and companionship. He made the unfamiliar feel familiar, and his humor became a beacon of light in the occasionally overwhelming landscape of university life. Yet, in the quiet moments before sleep claimed my consciousness, Zhang Hao's face would sometimes flicker in my mind, a ghost of a memory that refused to fade entirely.
The duality of my emotions remained, the past and the present entwined as I navigated the intricacies of university life. Jiwoong was a breath of fresh air, a new chapter unfolding, but the shadow of unspoken feelings and the memories of Zhang Hao lingered like subtle echoes, reminders of a time that felt simultaneously distant and near.
Two months into university, Jiwoong extended an invitation that promised to add a spark of excitement to my freshman experience—an invitation to a party hosted by the upperclassmen. The exclusivity of the event, where freshmen could only attend if invited by someone from the second year or above, fueled my anticipation. I eagerly accepted, thrilled at the prospect of attending my first university party.
As the night of the party approached, a mix of nerves and excitement bubbled within me. What do you wear to a university party? I spent hours deliberating before settling on a cute yet slightly sexy top paired with my favorite pair of jeans. The outfit struck a balance between casual and stylish, and I hoped it conveyed the perfect mix of confidence and approachability.
The night finally arrived, and I stood before the mirror, assessing my appearance with a mixture of excitement and apprehension. The top hugged my figure just right, and the jeans accentuated my curves. A hint of nervousness fluttered in my stomach, but I took a deep breath, reminding myself that this was an opportunity to step outside my comfort zone.
Jiwoong arrived in his car, and as I stepped out to join him, a rush of confidence washed over me. His eyes lingered on my outfit, and a genuine compliment escaped his lips, making my heart flutter. The night had an air of possibility, and the sound of laughter and music drifted through the air as we made our way to the party.
The venue buzzed with energy as we entered, the rhythmic beats of the music vibrating through the air. The dim lighting cast a playful ambiance, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration. Jiwoong guided me through the crowd, introducing me to his friends and fellow students from different majors.
As the night unfolded, the initial nervousness melted away, replaced by the joy of newfound friendships and shared experiences. Jiwoong and I danced, laughed, and immersed ourselves in the vibrant tapestry of university life. The party marked a significant moment in my freshman year, a memorable chapter illuminated by the glow of laughter, music, and the camaraderie that blossomed under the neon lights.
As the music pulsed through the crowded room, Jiwoong and I found ourselves lost in the rhythm, dancing for hours as if time had slowed just for us. The world around us faded into a blur, and for a while, it felt like there was no one else in the room but him and me.
As the DJ transitioned into a more sensual song, the atmosphere shifted. The lights dimmed, casting a soft glow over the dance floor. Jiwoong, with a subtle yet confident move, placed his hand on my waist. The touch sent a shiver down my spine, and I met his gaze, finding a depth of emotion in his eyes that mirrored the unspoken connection we had been building.
In that intimate moment, the distance between us closed. Jiwoong leaned in, and the world around us seemed to vanish. The music became a mere backdrop to the soft, lingering touch of his lips against mine. Time stood still as the kiss unfolded, a gentle exploration of emotions that had been simmering beneath the surface.
The sensation was electrifying, a blend of passion and uncertainty that hung in the air. As the music played on, we pulled away, our eyes meeting in a shared acknowledgment of the uncharted territory we had just entered. The crowded room, the pulsating music, and the whirlwind of the party all faded into the background, leaving us in a suspended moment, caught between the reality of the party and the newfound awareness of something changing between us.
The magical kiss left my heart pounding, and as we broke away, I found myself gazing into Jiwoong's eyes. In that moment, I felt seen in a way I had never experienced before. Confidence surged through me, and the world seemed to sparkle with newfound happiness, especially when Jiwoong's smile hinted at a shared joy.
As he leaned in for another kiss, my anticipation mirrored his. I moved closer, eager to capture the enchantment of the moment. However, just as our lips were about to meet once more, a sudden wave of anxiety washed over me. My eyes, which had been locked onto Jiwoong's, nervously wandered away and landed on a figure standing a few steps behind him.
My heart sank as I registered the familiar face – Zhang Hao. A jolt of panic surged through me, and I instinctively jerked away from Jiwoong. My body, overtaken by the unwelcome anxiety of the unexpected encounter, left me caught between the joy of the present and the shadows of the past.
Jiwoong, sensing the abrupt shift in my demeanor, gazed at me with a questioning expression. Confusion flickered in his eyes as he sought to understand the sudden change. "Is everything okay?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine concern.
My eyes flickered between Jiwoong and Zhang Hao, torn between the conflicting emotions that swirled within me. "I... I just saw someone I know," I stammered, attempting to mask the unease that gripped me.
Jiwoong turned to follow my gaze, his eyes narrowing as he noticed Hao standing a few steps away. The atmosphere shifted, and an unspoken tension settled between us. Jiwoong's gaze returned to mine, his expression a mix of curiosity and concern. The weight of the unspoken past hung in the air, leaving me grappling with the unexpected collision of two worlds that, until that moment, had existed in separate realms of my life.
As Zhang Hao walked closer, his gaze locked onto mine, a whirlwind of conflicting emotions enveloped me. It had been months since we last saw each other, and there he stood, seemingly better than ever. His appearance was impeccable, as always, but the usual bright smile that adorned his lips was notably absent, replaced by an unfamiliar frown.
The air thickened with an unspoken tension as Hao stopped in front of me. His eyes, once warm and inviting, now carried a hint of hurt and confusion. "Hey, (Y/n)," he greeted, the words tinged with a touch of uncertainty.
"Hi, Hao," I replied, my voice betraying the mixture of emotions that churned within me. The unexpected reunion intensified the unease that had settled over me since our eyes first met.
Jiwoong, sensing the weight of the situation, glanced between Hao and me. The atmosphere around us became charged with an unspoken history, a narrative that seemed to transcend time and space. As Hao continued to gaze at me, a thousand unspoken words lingered between us.
"I didn't expect to see you here," he finally spoke, his tone carrying a subtle undercurrent of emotion.
"Yeah, well, things change," I replied, attempting to keep my voice steady despite the turmoil within.
Hao's frown deepened, and for a moment, the silence hung in the air like a heavy cloud. The energy shifted, and I found myself caught between the past and the present, torn between the familiar warmth of our shared history and the uncertainty of the future. As the party continued around us, the reunion with Zhang Hao marked a pivotal moment, a collision of worlds that forced me to confront the complexities of emotions that lingered beneath the surface.
As Zhang Hao requested a private conversation, Jiwoong, sensing the tension, intervened with a cautious inquiry. "Are you sure about this, (Y/n)? Everything okay?" he asked, his eyes reflecting genuine concern.
I hesitated for a moment, torn between the desire to address the unresolved emotions with Hao and the potential impact on my budding connection with Jiwoong. "Yeah, I'll be okay. Let's meet up again in 15 minutes," I assured Jiwoong, sensing his reluctance but also his respect for my decision.
Reluctantly, Jiwoong agreed, his gaze lingering on me for a moment before he disappeared back into the pulsating energy of the party. I followed Hao outside, the cool night air a stark contrast to the warmth and intensity of the party.
Once we were alone, the atmosphere thickened with unspoken emotions. Hao's gaze bore into mine, and with a tinge of anger, he demanded, "Who was that guy, (Y/n)?"
I took a deep breath, the weight of the past and the present converging in that moment. "His name is Jiwoong. We met here at university. He's a friend," I explained, choosing my words carefully.
Hao's expression shifted between frustration and confusion. "A friend? That didn't look like just friendship back there," he remarked, his voice tinged with an edge of bitterness.
"We're just friends," I insisted, feeling the need to defend the newfound connection with Jiwoong.
Hao's gaze softened, and a hint of hurt crossed his features. "I didn't expect to see you with someone else, especially like that," he admitted, his vulnerability breaking through the façade of anger.
The complexity of emotions hung in the air as we navigated the delicate dance of addressing the unspoken history between us. The reunion outside the party became a confrontation of feelings, a moment where the past and the present collided in a tangled web of unresolved emotions.
The anger surged through me, an intense wave that broke the surface of composed emotions. "Maybe I wouldn't be here with someone else if you had given us a chance, or done something, months, even years ago!" The words burst forth from my lips, carrying the weight of pent-up frustration and unspoken feelings.
Hao's eyes widened momentarily, as if taken aback by the force of my words. Then, a mix of emotions flickered across his face – surprise, guilt, and a touch of defensiveness. "What are you talking about, (Y/n)? We were friends," he responded, his tone tinged with a hint of confusion.
I took a step closer, my frustration refusing to be contained. "Friends? Is that all you ever wanted us to be, Hao?" I shot back, my voice sharp with the sting of disappointment. "You never made a move?, never showed any sign that you wanted more? Hao, you constantly kept leaning in, saying loving things, touches that seemed like more than something you would give to just a friend,"
Hao's brows furrowed, and a subtle tension hung in the air as we faced each other in the dimly lit space outside the party. "I... I didn't want to ruin our friendship," he admitted, his gaze dropping to the ground.
"Ruin our friendship? Do you know how much it hurt, watching you send me mixed signals, never knowing where I stood with you?" I continued, my frustration fueling the words that poured out. "I waited, Hao. I waited for a sign, for anything, but it never came."
He looked up, and the vulnerability in his eyes momentarily softened the edges of my anger. "I didn't realize you felt that way," he confessed, a touch of regret in his voice.
"Of course you didn't. Because the two times I asked you if we were more than friends, wasn't clear enough?" I retorted, the bitterness of unspoken words hanging heavily between us. "Now, seeing you upset because I'm with someone else – it's too little, too late."
Hao's expression hardened, a mix of frustration and realization. "So, what? You've moved on just like that?" he questioned, the hurt evident in his eyes.
"I had to," I replied, my voice quieter but no less resolute. "I can't keep waiting for something that might never happen."
The silence that followed was heavy with the weight of unspoken regrets, a poignant reminder of the complexities that had driven a wedge between us. As the argument lingered in the night air, the echoes of our words carried the unresolved emotions that had defined our relationship, leaving us standing in the shadows of what could have been.
The heaviness of the argument lingered, settling like an unwelcome weight on my shoulders. In the midst of the tension, I found a moment of clarity, and the words spilled out, each one laden with the pain of unspoken truths.
"I silently begged for you to love me," I admitted, my voice a fragile whisper in the night. "I wanted it so badly, Hao, yet I knew deep down that it could never happen. You made that clear. But I stayed, and I tried because I loved you, and you gave me hope, even though you hurt me each time."
Hao's eyes, a mix of regret and realization, met mine. The vulnerability that flickered in his gaze didn't erase the years of heartache, but it spoke to a shared history that neither of us could escape.
"Now that I'm finally happy, when I finally found someone who makes me smile and who likes me back, you suddenly want me?" I continued, my frustration and disbelief underscoring each word. "I can't keep living in the shadows of what could have been, Hao. I deserve to be happy, too."
He took a step forward, a plea in his eyes. "I didn't realize how much you meant to me until now," he confessed, his voice tinged with remorse.
I shook my head, tears threatening to spill. "You had your chance, Hao. I can't keep holding on to what might be. Jiwoong... he makes me happy. He sees me, he wants to be with me, and he doesn't keep me hanging in uncertainty. For once, I'm not living in the shadow of someone,"
Hao's expression shifted, a mixture of understanding and regret. "I messed up, (Y/n). I should have been more honest, more open about my feelings. But it's not too late, is it?"
I took a step back, the space between us filled with the weight of the past and the present. "It's too late for us, Hao. I can't go back to the pain and uncertainty. I've moved on, and I need to see where this new path takes me."
As I turned away, the echoes of our shared history lingered in the air, a poignant reminder of the choices that had shaped our journey. The tears that had been held back finally escaped, a mix of sorrow for what could have been and relief for the possibility of a new beginning.
Tears welled up in my eyes as I met Jiwoong's gaze. His eyes reflected concern, and then anger as he directed his attention toward Hao. Jiwoong wasted no time, sensing my vulnerability. Without a word, he removed his jacket and gently draped it over my shoulders, his protective gesture providing both warmth and comfort.
As the jacket enveloped my frame, I became acutely aware of the chill in the night air. The contrast between the cold reality of the situation and the warmth offered by Jiwoong's gesture highlighted the emotional tumult I was experiencing.
Hao, standing a few steps away, observed the exchange with a mix of regret and realization. The tension between the three of us lingered in the air, a tangible force that underscored the complexities of the moment.
Jiwoong, still wearing the anger on his face, spoke in a calm yet firm tone. "I think it's best if we go back inside," he suggested, his gaze never leaving Hao. With a protective arm around me, Jiwoong led the way, leaving the unresolved emotions of the confrontation behind us.
The jacket draped over my shoulders, a physical manifestation of Jiwoong's care, brought a soothing sense of reassurance. The warmth of the fabric, combined with Jiwoong's steady presence, provided a shield against the emotional storm that had unfolded outside.
As we returned to the party, the night continued, but the encounter with Hao lingered in the background. The jacket served as a tangible reminder of the protective embrace I had found in Jiwoong, and as we navigated through the pulsating music and laughter, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the newfound warmth that had entered my life.
Jiwoong led me into a quiet corner, concern etched across his face. "Do you want to talk about what happened out there?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine care.
I took a deep breath, the weight of the recent encounter with Zhang Hao lingering in the air. "Yeah, I think I should," I replied, appreciating Jiwoong's willingness to navigate the complexities of the moment.
As we found a secluded spot away from the pulsating rhythm of the party, Jiwoong's eyes met mine, awaiting an explanation. "Who is Zhang Hao?" he inquired gently.
I hesitated for a moment before deciding to open up. "He's someone from my past, Jiwoong. We were friends, but it was complicated. I had feelings for him, and it never really went anywhere. Tonight was unexpected, and I just needed to confront some unresolved emotions," I explained, my voice carrying the weight of the unspoken history.
Jiwoong listened attentively, his expression understanding. "I appreciate you sharing that with me. You don't have to face these things alone," he reassured, his hand reaching for mine.
As his fingers intertwined with mine, I felt a sense of comfort. The honesty between us became a bridge, connecting the past with the present. The quiet corner, once filled with uncertainty, transformed into a space where two people navigated the complexities of their histories, laying the foundation for a shared narrative yet to unfold.
In the quiet corner, as Jiwoong's understanding gaze held mine, he leaned in once more. His hand cradled my cheek, a gentle touch that felt like a reassurance in the midst of emotional echoes. Our lips met again in a soft, lingering kiss, a shared moment that spoke of comfort and connection.
I kissed him back, the warmth of the embrace dissipating the residual tension from the earlier encounter. In that simple exchange of affection, the unspoken promises of a new beginning emerged, overshadowing the shadows of the past. The quiet corner became a sanctuary where two hearts, entwined in the dance of shared emotions, found solace in the language of a kiss.
As our lips parted, a subtle blush painted my cheeks. Jiwoong, with a playful glint in his eyes, smiled at me. "Guess I needed that second kiss I didn't get earlier," he remarked, his tone light and teasing.
I couldn't help but chuckle at his playful comment, the tension from earlier dissipating further. Jiwoong's easygoing nature and sense of humor added a layer of comfort to the moment, turning what could have been an emotionally charged night into a shared experience filled with laughter and newfound connections.
Feeling a sense of vulnerability, I knew I needed clarity about where Jiwoong stood in this evolving connection. The fear of uncertainty, born from past experiences, gnawed at the edges of my emotions. Sensing my unease, Jiwoong looked into my eyes with a reassuring understanding.
"You're not alone in this, (Y/n)," he said, his voice carrying a genuine sincerity. "I don't want you to feel like you're in the dark about us."
Relief washed over me at his words, and before I could articulate my concerns, Jiwoong easily erased the lingering fear. With a soft smile, he took my hand in his and said, "How about we make this official? Will you be my girlfriend?"
His simple yet heartfelt question dissolved the lingering uncertainties, replacing them with a warmth that blossomed in my chest. I met his gaze, and with a smile of my own, I nodded. "Yes, Jiwoong. I would love that." The weight of the past began to lift, and in that moment, a new chapter unfolded, marked by shared laughter, understanding, and the promise of a connection that held the potential to rewrite the narrative of my heart.
Later in the night, as the party's lively atmosphere began to wind down, (Y/n) and Jiwoong, the new couple that had emerged from the emotional whirlwind, prepared to leave. Amidst the fading music and the soft glow of fairy lights, Zhang Hao found Jiwoong standing alone, a somber expression on his face.
Approaching with a heavy heart, Hao took a moment before speaking, "Take care of (Y/n), Jiwoong." His words carried a weight of unspoken regret and acceptance, acknowledging the changing dynamics of the night.
Jiwoong, unfazed by the gravity of the moment, responded with a smug confidence that echoed through the dimly lit space. "I already am."
The words hung in the air, a subtle yet impactful exchange that marked a shift in the narrative. It turned out that Zhang Hao was the side character in (Y/n)'s story, and not the other way around. The realization settled over Hao with a quiet poignancy, as he watched (Y/n) and Jiwoong make their way toward the exit, their intertwined fingers reflecting a newfound connection that had taken center stage in (Y/n)'s journey.
As the door closed behind them, Zhang Hao remained in the fading echoes of the party, a character whose significance had been redefined. The narrative had evolved, and in the quiet aftermath, he stood as a silhouette in the background, a part of (Y/n)'s past but no longer a defining chapter in her story.

(Y/n)’s POV
After we had finished eating, Seungmin and I regrouped with the others before, once again, splitting up as the members had some different schedules up until lunch. “Have you decided who you wanna go with for now, (Y/n)?” Changbin asked while we all began walking to the elevators. “Yeah, I decided to go with Danceracha up until lunch and after that, we’ll see,” “Yes! We got (Y/n)!” Felix exclaimed happily making some of the employees around us look at him with weird looks before they returned to what they did previously. “Alright, Changbin and I’s meeting should be over around 2 pm, maybe a little later. Do you think the rest of you will be ready for lunch by then or sooner or later?” “I can’t really say for us, it depends on how many changes we wanna do to the choreo and how long it takes us to learn it,” Minho answered Bang Chan, it sounded a bit complicated but I think seeing them dance will be a lot of fun. “Our vocal training with the coach is scheduled between 9.00 am to 1.30 pm, so we should be done by 2 unless we run over too but I don’t think we will as the coach is on a very strict schedule,” Seungmin said, he was apparently the one who had booked the training session so of course he was the one who knew all the details. “Mm, okay. Well, when the three of you are done with your vocal training, why don’t you stop by the dance studio and see how it’s going for Danceracha, if they seem to be running late, bring (Y/n) with you and meet up with us for lunch. Minho, Hyunjin, and Felix will just have to eat later unless the other choreographers want to eat too so you can take a break,” “Yeah, that sounds good to us, how about for you (Y/n)?” “Oh, yeah, that’s fine, Jinnie,” “Great, we’ll see you later. We have to go now or we’re gonna be late,” And with that, the group split up.
Minho took my hand and led me into an elevator with Hyunjin and Felix following us. They guided me to a big room with an entire wall made up of mirrors, in one corner there was a small-ish black couch, and beside the couch, there was something that seemed like a computer - probably where they controlled what song played in the speakers. I looked around the room with awe, it had a somewhat cozy feeling as I turned back to the mirrors and saw how the three dancers were looking at me with love-filled eyes and sweet smiles. “Want to warm up with us, (Y/n)?” Hyunjin asked as Minho walked over to the computer and began typing away. “I don’t know how,” “That’s fine! We usually follow one another, today it’s Hyunjin’s turn to lead the warm-up so all you need to do is face the mirror and imitate Hyunjin’s movements, and if you struggle with anything you can ask any of us for help, but really all you need to do is try your best,” Felix said as he came over and put his hands gently on my shoulders before shaking me lightly to make me smile. “Okay, I’ll try!” “Great, let’s start then. In 30 minutes the choreographer is coming so we need to be ready by then. Jinnie the floor is yours,” Minho said, using a tone I was unfamiliar with, it was stern, leaving no room for arguments.
Hyunjin faced the mirrors just like the rest of us, though he was standing a few steps in front of us, I stood beside Felix, watching Hyunjin’s reflection in the mirror carefully. “Have fun, (Y/n)!” “Hm!” I nodded my head before focusing on Hyunjin once again. Minho took out his phone and hit play and a second later music filled the room and Hyunjin began moving, with the rest of us following his lead. Minho and Felix had no problem keeping up but I struggled a bit, the other two probably knew what movements would follow one another, I, however, did not. But as I remembered what Felix said before we started I began calming down and stopped focusing on all the mistakes I made and rather focused on just having fun as I tried to keep up with Danceracha. After warming up for 15 minutes I was sweating like crazy and I was very tired, my vision was becoming a bit blurry, and my movements were slower. “Hey stop! (Y/n)’s about to faint,” Felix shouted alerting everyone, even myself, of my swaying body and my weak legs. Felix quickly stepped closer to me before he gently hooked his arm around my waist and helped me walk over to the couch in the corner of the room. Minho and Hyunjin went to get some water and towels. With just over 10 minutes left before they had to meet with the choreographer, and I was taking up their time. This is why no one likes you. This is why no one wants you. An angry, dark voice resonated inside my head. The voice made me shrink back into my shy and shut-off self, I couldn’t look at Felix, I knew he would be angry, I should have been able to do this, hybrids are supposed to be good at exercises, but I’m not. “Hey, (Y/n). Are you okay? Does anything hurt? Can you see me? Are your eyes okay?” His voice was silky smooth, deep, and warm, it was filled with worry and love. He doesn’t actually care. If you look at him you know he’ll hit you. “(Y/n), please, look up at me?” Run away, he doesn’t want you. They don’t want you. They hate you. You’re a waste of space. Felix gently put one of his hands on my chin and then lightly tilted it upward so my eyes would meet his, I froze as soon as my eyes met his. His eyes were full of worry, adoration, love, fright, and anxiety, no matter how hard I searched for any feeling of hatred, I could find nothing alike it. It’s all fake. “Are you okay?” “I, -” My voice cracked as I just noticed how dry my throat was both from the exhaustion but also from the anxiety the evil voice brought with it. I broke out in a small coughing fit as I tried to catch my breath. “It’s okay, look at me, you’re fine, (Y/n), I’m here. Minho-hyung will be back in a few seconds with some water for you,” As soon as Felix had said it, Minho came jogging back into the room with four water bottles in his hands, closely followed by Hyunjin who had some towels in his arms. “Here,” Minho said as he handed a water bottle to Felix who opened it before giving it to me. I gladly took it and gulped down half the bottle, soothing my sore throat. “Feeling better now?” Felix asked as he took the water bottle from me, closing it before taking a towel from Hyunjin’s arms. He unfolded it and carefully patted it against my forehead, wiping away my sweat. “ I’m sorry,” “Why are you sorry? (Y/n), you don’t have to apologize,”
“I ruin everything,” “(Y/n), I’m sorry but I’m going to raise my voice a bit right now. You don’t ruin everything. Anyone can faint when exercising, you don’t mean any less to us because of this, we are the ones to blame because we should have thought about the possibility of this happening. This is not your fault. It could just as likely have been me or any of the others who fainted. We all love you, so so so much, nothing would change that. Okay? Listen to me, WE LOVE YOU” I was startled as Felix raised his voice at me, he wasn’t screaming but he was speaking significantly louder than he ever had before around me. Usually, something like this would have me shivering and crying, yet with Felix my eyes were locked with his, I was frozen as I listened to his warm voice as I saw the tears escaping from his eyes. There was nothing but sincerity in his voice. Minho and Hyunjin had walked out of the room shortly before this to stop the choreographer from stepping inside before Felix and I had calmed down. I could hear their voices as they conversed outside the door, joined by an unfamiliar voice that I assumed belonged to the choreographer. “Please, (Y/n). Don’t put yourself down, we love you, I love you, so please, please love yourself, if not for your sake for ours,” I slowly moved my hand up to his face and wiped away the tears that had streaked his cheeks. “I’ll try, for you,” Felix enveloped me in a warm hug before he took a deep breath and calmed down from his crying. We sat there, our arms encircled around each other, as we were shaking from crying, sniffling, and trying to calm down from what just happened. “Please (Y/n), please believe me when I say that we love you,” I couldn’t answer him verbally so I opted to just give him a tighter squeeze before I let go of him and moved back a tiny bit. I shakily put my hand on his cheek and wiped away some of his tears with my thumb. Felix took a deep breath before wiping away my tears too. “I have to get ready now, we can’t keep the choreographer waiting any longer,” “I’ll just stay here so that you guys can focus,” “(Y/n), you wouldn’t be in the way,” “I know, but I still feel shaky, I don’t think I can stand up just yet,” “Are you sure you want to stay here then? You don’t want to go to some of the others?” “I’m sure, I want to see you and Minho and Hyunjin dance,” “Okay, bunny. Just let us know if you need anything,” “I promise,” “Good,” Felix gave me a kiss on my forehead before he stood up and walked over to the door to let Minho and Hyunjin back inside.
15 minutes later and I finally stopped feeling nauseous and shaky. My eyes were locked solidly onto the way that Danceracha was moving. The smoothness, the precision, the look in their eyes, it was mesmerizing. “With this move, I would prefer if we could do it like this,” Minho said as he showed what he meant, the choreographer watched closely before discussing it further with Minho going back and forth until they reached a move they were both happy with. All three of them glanced back at me every now and then, when they saw that I was watching them they just smiled and looked away again. Soon a few hours had passed and it was time for lunch, to me though, it felt like only a few minutes had passed from the moment I shared with Felix, as we both cried, holding each other. “Come on, let’s meet up with the others,” Hyunjin said as he waved me over with a tired but happy smile on his lips. Danceracha looked exhausted, quite frankly they reeked of sweat but they had been dancing none stop for a few hours. “Weren’t Han, Seungmin, and Jeongin supposed to stop by when their training was over?” “Yeah, they should be coming any second, it’s only 1.35 pm. The vocal room they had booked is five floors above this one so it takes a few minutes to walk between them,” Felix answered as he tenderly took one of my hands into his before leading me to the door. After we had stepped outside my nose picked up the familiar scent of the youngest Stray Kid.
“Hyungs! (Y/n)! Hi!” “Ya, Innie, you’re not supposed to scream right after training,” Jeongin just turned and gave Seungmin a playful glare in return before he continued smiling and jogging in my direction. “Hi” I waved to the three of them. Seeing them run and smile, being so carefree and happy, it made me feel like maybe there is hope for me too, that one day I can be freed from all of my worries, from my past. As long as I stay with them, as long as I’m with my family I’ll be fine. No more being alone. No more darkness. “How was it? Watching dance practice?” Jisung asked once he too caught up with us. I looked at Danceracha, pondering over whether or not I should tell the others about my accident. “It was fun, I wish I could dance like them,” Minho looked at me, understanding my decision of not telling them yet, or I think he did because he began talking about something else as he began walking toward the elevators with the rest of us following. Seungmin walked beside Felix and me, he tenderly took my free hand into his as we were walking. It wasn’t until he did that that I realized just how cold my hands were, when Felix took my hand into his I didn’t think about the heat difference as Felix had just been dancing for a long time but Seungmin had not and his hand almost felt like it was on fire compared to mine. “Wow, did you take a trip to the North Pole? Your hands are so cold!” Seungmin proclaimed as he laughed. “Oh, I didn’t even think about it, holy, (Y/n), we need to get you some tea or some hot chocolate to warm you up,” As the two began fussing over me Minho looked back, surely after he heard them speak of my icy hands. His eyes spoke so loudly, as he stared into mine, he knew I was cold after the panic attack, even if I had calmed down and wasn’t crying anymore, my unconscious mind hadn’t let it go just yet, it had pretty much shut down.  “I’m sure she’ll be fine after she gets some food, we all need it so come on, let’s move it, Chan-hyung and Changbin are waiting for us by the cafeteria, their meeting ended a little earlier than they thought it would,” Chan had apparently texted Minho that info just now, I didn’t even notice him checking his phone.
After arriving at the cafeteria we quickly found Chan and Changbin, they had taken a large table so we could all sit together this time. We ordered our food and then Minho told Chan, and the others, about what happened in the dance studio. Everyone looked worried but they were happy nothing worse happened. “Maybe it would be best for you (Y/n) if you went home to rest for the rest of the day. You’ve experienced a lot today and maybe we shouldn’t hurry this exposure too much or things like this will happen. We need to gradually expose you to our hectic schedules. If you want I can come home with you,” “What about the meetings?” “Changbin can handle them, the hardest one is finished already, the last one is just for the name of the album and we’ve never had a problem with those meetings before, besides Changbin has handled meetings like this alone other times too,” “I’m actually feeling quite worn out so maybe going home would be best,” “Uh, hyung, actually, I don’t think I can take this next meeting on my own,” “Huh? Why not?” “They changed the schedule, the album name meeting is tomorrow, and after lunch, we have the meeting regarding the music videos,” Bang Chan let out a loud sigh, he looked really annoyed, but I wasn’t scared of him, because I knew he wasn’t upset with me, and he isn’t like my previous owners, he wouldn’t hit me. “Ugh, why do they change the schedule every time? We always put it like this, then they change it only to switch back to OUR original schedule… ugh. Well, (Y/n), sorry that means I can’t take you home,” Chan looked at me, he looked disappointed. “It’s okay. I think I can just rest on the couch in the dance studio, don’t worry,” “I could take her home, we don’t have that much left to go over for the dances so the part I miss Minho-hyung and Lixie can teach me tomorrow,” “As long as it’s okay with Minho and Felix, it’s okay with me, you know I rarely but in regarding the dances, that’s Minho’s responsibility,” Chan said the last part as he chuckled because Minho gave him a fake annoyed glare. “Mm, take the bunny home, make sure she gets some rest,” “I will,” Hyunjin gave me a smile before we all continued eating our lunches.
After we all had finished eating Hyunjin called their driver to come and pick the two of us up and drive us to the dorm. “Take care and rest well, (Y/n). We’ll see you tonight,” Jisung said as he gave me a warm and tight hug. “Change into the new pajamas we got for you, you know the one that was so warm and fluffy!” Jeongin said as he then reminded Hyunjin where it was. Everyone either hugged me before saying goodbye or just waved and smiled. Soon it was just Hyunjin and I, as we waited in the lobby for the driver to come. “He’s here, come on, (Y/n), we can go home and watch a movie and maybe draw some more,” “That -” YAWN “- sounds nice” “Haha, tired I see,” And so we got in the car, I barely sat down before my eyes were closing. The last thing I remember is hearing a low humming from Hyunjin as I rested my head against his shoulder before I fell into a deep sleep.

Boyfriend things with XH
Tumblr media
Wordcount ≈ 650
Warnings: None
Things XH would do as boyfriends
Please reblog!
Tumblr media
Gunil
Gunil would be so concerned about his partner not eating enough, no matter how much the partner actually eats, he would take any opportunity he has to feed them. If they’re at a restaurant, Gunil will put food on his fork and reach over to his partner saying “Here love, try this” with the sweetest smile so his partner can’t turn him down. He would also at times show up with food or snacks to give his partner. When his partner asked him about he just said, “I just love you so I give you food,”
Tumblr media
Jungsu
Jungsu knows how much his partner loves his voice so this man would break out into song at the most random times to serenade his partner. It could be two minutes after waking up, as they are brushing their teeth, when they’re out on a walk, just as they’ve laid down in bed, in the car, or over the phone, the man would even try doing it over text. He just wants to make his partner happy and why not do it through his breathtaking vocals?
Tumblr media
O.de/Seungmin
He would be so in love with his partner that he ends up being starstruck every time they do something together because he still can’t believe that they’re a couple. Because of this, Seungmin would end up letting out a happy yelp after every little kiss, while having the biggest dorkiest smile. As soon as he sees his partner approaching he would let out a happy yelp before running, and I mean running, to hug them. However, as soon as the hug or the kiss is over, he is back to trying to act cool both for his partner but also for the people around him. This adorable dork is just soooo in love with his partner.
Tumblr media
Gaon/Jiseok
Jiseok’s main priority is always making sure his partner is happy, not just happy, but laughing like a maniac until they can barely breathe. So, this little clown will be ready to run around, scream, make jokes, and make a fool out of himself, at any point of the day if he so much as imagines a frown on his partner’s face. If his partner isn’t dying of laughter and complaining about their cheeks hurting from all the smiling, Jiseok hasn’t done a good job in his opinion. So for the sake of this man’s dignity, I hope his partner is smiling 24/7 and that it’s a real smile.
Tumblr media
Jun Han/Hyeong-jun
Hyeong-jun is the type that shows his love through small and often quiet actions. He’s like a mind-reader, he just knows exactly what his partner needs without them saying anything. They might be out and his partner is beginning to feel a little cold but they don’t say anything, seconds later Hyeong-jun is draping a jacket or a blanket over his partner’s shoulders to keep them warm. Or he comes with a bandaid the second his partner accidentally cuts themselves while making food, Hyeong-jun wasn’t even in the kitchen nor did he hear his partner saying anything, he just knew. He might not say ‘I love you’ all that often with words but his actions speak way louder and his partner will never have to question if Hyeong-jun loves them or not.
Tumblr media
Jooyeon
This man will be holding onto his partner 25/8. He will be holding their hand, hugging them, half laying on them even when standing up, he will be playing with their hair, just touching them all the time. Jooyeon loves his partner, and therefore he wants to be close to them  - all the time. So if he can touch them, he will. And please let him because otherwise, he is going to pout and sulk until his partner clings onto him, telling him how much they love him.

Third person POV
Kwon Soonyoung, aka, Hosh, is one of the most popular people at Pledis University. He’s well known for his great dance skills, his energy, his looks, and also… for being relentless against anyone who is mean toward anyone he cares about. Hoshi is a tiger hybrid, a big cat with sharp claws. As long as you stay on his good side, he’s just as cuddly as a teddy-bear but make one wrong move and it’s the last thing you do. Hoshi can be very territorial, especially toward his beloved girlfriend, (Y/n). A cute hamster hybrid. (Y/n) is quite small in stature, timid too, very smart, and to bullies, an easy target. How these two began dating? Well, let’s just say that Hoshi saw (Y/n) one day and he fell in love. He then spent 4 months becoming friends with her and then finally asking her out, to which she said yes as she too had fallen in love with the tiger.
(Y/n) was often scared of walking around the hallways of the university on her own, afraid that one of her bullies would do something to her. The only time she truly felt safe was when she was enveloped in the warm embrace of her boyfriend, with him nothing bad could happen. At least, that’s how she felt. Usually, she would tell Soonyoung about anyone who bothered her and he would talk with them, after that they wouldn’t bother her again. But with these bullies, (Y/n) didn’t dare tell him. When it was just one person, it was fine to let Hoshi take care of it but now we’re talking about more than 10. (Y/n) didn’t want him to get hurt so she thought it would be better to keep it secret. Which went quite well for about 2 months. Hoshi didn’t notice (Y/n) being a bit more skittish around campus as when she was with him, she was calm. The tiger is her safe space. The problem was, as previously mentioned when she was alone. For two months, as soon as she was alone - which she mostly was unless she was hanging out with her boyfriend, sometimes one of his friends would go with her if their classes were close to each other - her bullies would crowd around her, saying mean things about until she was crying. But that was fine. As long as Hoshi didn’t find out. But now, after two months of mental torture, the bullies were bored so they found new ways to entertain themselves. They began throwing things at (Y/n), which then turned into pushes, punches, and kicking. This is when (Y/n) could no longer hide the torment from her boyfriend.
Hoshi and three of his friends were in their designated dance room deciding on what song they would use for their new assignment. The four boys always teamed up whenever they could. Being best friends and knowing each other’s dance skills to a T really helped them and made it easy for them to work efficiently. (Y/n) was supposed to join them in the dance room at 3 pm to watch them work and then go home with Hoshi at 5 pm. Hoshi kept looking at the clock, becoming more and more worried as the clock hit 3, then it became 3.15, to 3.30, and still no (Y/n). Not a single person had even been close to the door, Soonyoung had strained his ears trying to hear his beloved hamster girlfriend’s footsteps, but to no avail.
“Hyung, if you’re so worried why don’t you try calling her?” “I don’t want to pressure her, what if she’s just talking to a friend or something? And I call her, worried, she already deals with my possessive self enough, she doesn’t need me acting paranoid too,” The young lion, aka Chan, tried to help Hoshi to calm down but it didn’t help so he looked over to the panther and the leopard for help. Jun walked over, his black ears twitching noticeably in his blonde hair, his tail swishing behind him. “Soon, breathe, if (Y/n) hasn’t shown up nor contacted you before 4, we’ll all go and look for her. Okay?” “Okay, 30 more minutes… I can wait for 30 minutes,” And so the four boys got back in formation and began going over the few steps they had already decided on. 5 minutes later, the door to the practice room was opened and the small hamster hybrid stepped inside. All four boys could smell the fear and distress on her. Hoshi ran up to (Y/n) and looked down at her, full of worry. “Baby, what’s happened? What’s wrong?” (Y/n) tried to hold the tears at bay, but her attempts were futile, the second Hoshi’s hands touched her shoulders she broke down. Her tears streamed down her face like rivers, her whole body shivering. “It’s, it’s nothing,” Soonyoung enveloped (Y/n) in a tight hug, partly to comfort her and partly to see if he could find any scents on her that could help him figure out what had happened. Soonyoung found 2 scents that he recognized, but what really made his blood boil, was the bruises that littered (Y/n)’s back. He knew for a fact that she didn’t have them this morning, as he may or may not have spent the entire night with her - naked - so the bruises were new. Hoshi couldn’t help the angry growl that rumbled in his chest. “What happened? Don’t lie to me, please (Y/n),” Soonyoung lightly pulled (Y/n) with him to the center of the room and sat down on the floor with her, still keeping her close to give her comfort. “Do you want us to leave?” Minghao asked in a soft voice, not wanting to make it worse for the crying girl. Hoshi carefully looked at (Y/n) waiting to see what she decided, to which he found her giving a tiny shake of her head. “No, she wants you to stay,” “Okay, we’ll stay, but if you want us to leave we will be gone in a second,” Hoshi looked back at his girlfriend after giving his friends a thankful smile. “Baby, please. I can’t help you if I don’t know what’s happened” “I didn’t want to worry you, so I didn’t say anything, but it just kept getting worse,” “What did?” “They, at first it was just words, and it was fine, but then they began throwing things at me and now they’re pushing, punching, and kicking me,” Hoshi let out a loud growl, but he wasn’t alone, the other three boys also growled, they all felt protective of their friend’s girlfriend. She was their friend too after all, so why wouldn’t they? “Who?” Hoshi’s voice was rough, laced with anger that anyone would dare to do these things to his beloved girlfriend. (Y/n) named all the names she could remember at the spot, there were more that she couldn’t remember at the moment but it was enough for Hoshi to at least go after these people for now. He’ll take the others later. “You can always tell me these things, (Y/n), you know I love protecting you. It makes me happy when you rely on me. I just want you to be happy and safe,” “But, they’re so many of them. I don’t want you to get hurt,” Soonyoung’s heart skipped a beat at the look in (Y/n)’s eyes, so full of love and worry for him. “Honey, I’m not stupid. I wouldn’t confront them on my own if I knew there were gonna be too many of them. Besides, I know that all the boys would come with me if I even mentioned that someone had dared look at you the wrong way, not to mention actually hurt you.” “He’s right you know, no one messes with our pack, and you’re a part of it,” Dino said as he came closer to the pair on the floor. Dino was probably the one that (Y/n) felt closest to after Hoshi, she had spent a lot of time with the maknae and he was very considerate of her, all of them were, but Dino just made her feel safe in a similar way to Hoshi. “What if any of you get hurt?” Jun and Minghao walked over too, deciding that it was okay to do so by the shift of Hoshi’s aura becoming a little more relaxed as (Y/n)’s crying slowed down. “You don’t have to worry about us, we’re big boys, besides, compared to us, the people you mentioned aren’t nearly as agile, smart, or strong. I’d bet that if Seungcheol-hyung even looked at them they’d run away in fear. I think, one of them actually kneeled in fear of Jihoon last week because he glared at them for being loud in the cafeteria,” Jun spoke in a playful and cocky, yet reassuring tone. “You don’t have to worry about us, you should worry about what mr. Tiger here is going to do to them, I think we might need a medic on standby,” Minghao said in a teasing tone as he nudged Soonyoung’s shoulder, which earned him a low growl. (Y/n) looked around at the four big cat hybrids who were trying to make her feel better. Never once, had she been scared of them even though it was literally in her instincts to be. “Thank you,” Soonyoung wiped the half-dried tears away from her face as she had now stopped crying, feeling safe in her boyfriend’s arms and the presence of their friends.
“Come on, we’re going home to take care of these bruises. And then I’m calling the others so we can prepare a meeting with these scumbags tomorrow,” Hoshi’s tail kept swishing angrily behind him, truthfully he wanted to storm over to the group of bullies immediately but he held himself back, (Y/n) was more important right now. “I’m sorry I disrupted your practice time,” “Don’t worry about that, we weren’t doing much anyway. You’re more important anyway,” (Y/n) stood up, feeling a little shaky from everything that had happened, her body was sore from the beating, and she was exhausted from crying and panicking. “I got you, darling. Don’t worry. You can lean on me,” Soonyoung said as he carefully laid his arm around her waist to give her support and comfort.
The next morning, (Y/n) was told that Seungkwan was on his way over to walk her to school as Hoshi needed to leave early but he didn’t want her going with him or alone. (Y/n) knew, that Hoshi didn’t want her going with him because he and the other boys were going to have a talk with her bullies and he didn’t want her to see that. 30 minutes later, a knock was heard and (Y/n) opened to door to be met with a smiling red panda, also known as Boo Seungkwan. “Good morning, (Y/n). How are you this fine morning?” “My back is still hurting from yesterday, that’s where they landed the most kicks and punches, but it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. Other than that, I’m fine, how are you?” “I’m good, do you want to stop by and get a coffee on the way? We’re not in a hurry or anything,” “Yeah I’d like that,” “Let’s go! I’ll text DK to tell him to meet us there” Seungkwan and DK were two of the few none predators in the group so (Y/n) naturally felt a connection to them, mostly though it was because of their kind and easy-going personalities.
* At the college campus *
Hoshi, Seungcheol, Jihoon, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, Dino, Jun, Jeonghan, Joshua, and Minghao were the 11 chosen to handle this confrontation. Joshua, Wonwoo, and Minghao were mainly there to be mediators, they are the best at staying level headed in these situations whilst most of the others prefer to act first and think second. Those three could definitely fight if they needed to, but they preferred a more civil way of solving problems when possible. The group moved almost as one as they stalked toward the group sitting around a table in the backyard of the college. Anyone who saw them quickly moved out of their way and hoped the group wasn’t heading for them as their auras screamed authority and anger. As Hoshi and Seungcheol, who had been leading the group, came to a stop in front of the bullies they both cleared their throats to announce their presence - though the bullies had already heard them and seen them. The leader of their group, Hanbin, turned around and tried to sound confident as he faced the tiger and the wolf. “What?” Hoshi growled at him, showing off his fangs, Cheol did the same thing before he nudged Hoshi’s arm. “I heard that you’ve been bullying (Y/n), I’m giving you one chance to admit it right now, if you do that and then apologize to her and then promise to leave her alone, I’ll forget about it. But if you don’t,” Hoshi paused before he once again showed off his fangs, and his sharp claws, before also looking to his sides where 10 0f his friends stood all glaring at Hanbin and his group. “Well, I don’t think you want to know what would happen then,” Hoshi finished by giving him a smile so fake even a blind person could have seen it. Hanbin wanted to seem like he wasn’t scared, but anyone could tell that he was literally shaking in fear. It was natural really, Hanbin was a domestic dog breed and he was facing a wolf hybrid with a very strong alpha aura, a furious tiger hybrid, and 9 other scary guys who could easily take on anyone in his own group without breaking a sweat. “I’m sorry. I promise I’ll apologize. Please, just don’t hurt us,” Hanbin got down on his knees begging for forgiveness. “Call, DK, and Boo, and tell them it’s safe to bring her to campus now,” Seungcheol instructed as he still glared at Hanbin. Joshua called up the pair who was supposed to keep (Y/n) occupied and away from campus in case the meeting took a turn for the worse.
* At the café *
“(Y/n), (Y/n), how about we go shopping tomorrow? I saw a really pretty dress the other day that I think would look super good on you for the ball,” Just as (Y/n) was about to answer DK, Seungkwan’s phone rang on the table, the ID showing it was Joshua. “Hey Shua-hyung, mm okay. Alright, yes, the backyard. Yes, mm. We’re coming, bye-bye,” Dokyeom and (Y/n) looked at Seungkwan with curious eyes, “The meeting is over, they want us to come to the backyard of campus so that those idiots can apologize to you,” (Y/n) nodded. Even though she didn’t really want to meet them she knew that this was part of their punishment from Hoshi. So the trio got up from their table and began walking to campus, it wasn’t too far. They would be there in 5 minutes. “Did Joshua say anything about whether or not they actually got in a fight?” “No, but he seemed calm so I don’t think they had to fight,” “That’s good then,” As the trio came closer to their group of friends they all saw the group who had been bullying (Y/n) kneeling on the ground in front of their friends with embarrassed looks on their faces. “Baby!” Hoshi turned around as soon as he heard the trio’s footsteps and ran up to them to envelop his girlfriend in a hug and peppered her face with kisses. No, Hoshi was not scared of showing affection in public - he’s territorial, and he actually loves doing it. “There are some people here who have something to say to you,” Hoshi walked toward the kneeling group with (Y/n) as he kept an arm around her waist. As they stopped right in front of Hanbin, Hoshi once again cleared his throat to signal Hanbin to start his apology. “I’m so sorry (Y/n). I’ve behaved like an idiot, and I’m so sorry for everything I have said and done to you. I don’t even deserve to breathe the same air as you, that’s how insignificant I am because of what I have done. I promise to become a better person and I will never ever bother you again,” Hanbin spoke with a waver in his voice, not because he didn’t mean what he said, but because he was afraid it wouldn’t be enough for Hoshi to let him go. “Thank you for apologizing. I’m glad you’re going to stop bullying me, and anyone else, but I won’t forgive you. What you did to me wasn’t okay, I’m glad you realise it too but I can’t just forgive you. Because you’re only apologizing out of fear for my boyfriend and our friends, not because you realized that your actions were wrong on your own. Because of that, I can’t forgive you,” Hoshi was proud of (Y/n) for speaking so confidently and expressing her own anger with the hybrid who had bullied her. Never before had she been this sure or confident in front of someone who wasn’t Hoshi. Having him and the other 12 boys with her made her feel safe enough to actually speak her mind. Cheol looked over at Hoshi with a questioning look to which Hoshi answered with a nod. “Now scatter. If I hear about any of you saying or doing anything malicious to anyone ever again, I’ll come for you,” Seungcheol growled out a threatening warning to the group to which they all cowered away, and as soon as they stood up they ran away.
“There, now you don’t have to worry about them anymore. Also, (Y/n), darling, I know I might seem annoying for this but please don’t go anywhere on your own anymore. My heart can’t take any more worrying about you. It doesn’t have to be me but just bring at least one of us with you, please. I don’t want you to get hurt,” “Alright if it makes you feel better. It actually makes me feel safer too,” Soonyoung gently put one of his hands on one of (Y/n)’s cheeks before leaning in and giving her a loving kiss. “I love you,” “I love you too,” “Horanghae,” (Y/n) just giggled at her boyfriend as he made a cute face and pose to go with his personalized I love you.

Pick-up lines & Library kisses
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jock! Sunwoo x afab! nerd! Reader
Wordcount ≈ 2.1k
Warnings: very cliche, overuse of the word ‘cute’, Sunwoo sorta kissing reader with consent, flirting, I think that’s it.
Summary: Kim Sunwoo is a campus flirt, well known for his attractiveness, his skills as a soccer player, his extroversion, and mostly for his flirtatious ways. The man can flirt with a wall and make it blush. Though the only one he wants to flirt with is Lee (Y/n), the cute girl who spends most of her time in the library reading books, and, unfortunately, doesn’t pay him any attention.
Note: (Y/n) is Juyeon’s younger sister. All the boys are the same age, (Y/n) is a year younger. Though you can imagine her looking any way you want, if it helps imagine them being like step-siblings or something.

Sunwoo’s POV
“Great practice today boys! Keep up this energy for tomorrow and we’ll win the match!” As the coach yelled out his points for tomorrow I looked toward the bleachers, looking for a certain someone who would probably be nose-deep in a book of some kind. “Looking for your girlfriend?” Changmin jokingly said as he came up to me. I tutted, “She’s not my girlfriend, idiot,” “I heard Juyeon say that (Y/n) was gonna be in the library with Chanhee,” Eric said as he came over to the two. “Yah, don’t be so loud, it’s bad enough that pretty much all of the team knows of my crush, if Juyeon finds out, he’ll kill me,” “Dude, he already knows, I mean it’s so obvious that you’re head over heels for (Y/n),” I pushed Changmin and Eric a little as they taunted me. “SHUT UP! You idiots,” “(Y/n)!” I almost jumped a meter in the air as Juyeon called out his sister’s name. She was jogging over to him, she was facing down to the ground as she was embarrassed, she’s quite shy, how, I don’t know. “Juuu, don’t be so loud,” “Sorry sis, did you find the book you were looking for?” “No, the system said they should have it but I can’t find it anywhere, Chanhee and I looked through the entire fantasy section but couldn’t find it,” (Y/n) was pouting as she looked up at her brother, (Y/n) loved reading and she would often sit on the bleachers reading during soccer practice to wait for her brother, I loved when she did that because it gave me more time during the day to admire her beauty and also to do this: “If you wanna live out a fantasy, I’m right here,” (Y/n) looked at me as I began talking and she blushed and looked away as I ended my line with a wink. “Watch your mouth, number 19. Wouldn’t wanna be number benched tomorrow, right?” Juyeon gave me a friendly glare while threatening me. Though I knew he would never bench me as I’m the star player, I still raised my hands in the air as we all laughed. Throughout the years of knowing Juyeon and (Y/n), I’ve always felt something special for (Y/n). (Y/n) though, has probably never taken me seriously, whenever I tried to flirt with her or do anything to get closer she would always just look away and tell me to “be serious” before she would return to her books. “Can we go home now? I have to try to find my book somewhere else,” “Yeah, come on, I just have to get my bag. Wanna start walking to the car?” “Mm, see ya there,” “I’ll walk with you,” I quickly offered before she walked off. “See ya tomorrow, Sunwooooo,” Eric said in a high-pitched voice as he blinked his eyes at me, I’m so getting him back someday.
(Y/n) and I walked in silence for a while, (Y/n) looked literally anywhere that wasn’t me. “So, what book were you looking for today?” “Um, it’s this one book, it’s quite new, so it’s popular, but the status in the library finally said it was available, however, someone must have taken it without logging in and checking it out, because Chanhee and I searched through the entire section without finding it and the librarian didn’t know where it was either,” (Y/n) began talking about the book, telling me pretty much every piece of information she knew on the book except for the name of it. She was so excited and cute. Too soon we had reached her brother’s car and this also marked the end of our conversation, if you can even call it that. “Why don’t you try looking for the book again tomorrow? I can help you during lunch and even after classes too, I have some time before the match,” “You don’t have to help me, thanks though. But I’ll just ask Ju and maybe Jacob to help me,” “Come on, Juyeon will be busy preparing for the match as the captain since Sangyeon is sick, and Cobbie is supposed to help Haknyeon with some project, so just let me help you, I’m good at finding things,” “Like what?” “Like your cuteness or your adorable smile,” “Be serious, Woo,” “I am serious, let me help you?” “Alright, thanks Sunwoo,” “See you tomorrow, cutie,” I gave her a wink and a little wave before I walked away.
Third person POV
A few minutes later Juyeon came up to the car and we got in and drove home. “I’m sorry I can’t help you search for your book tomorrow, I just have a lot of preparations to make for the game and I’m also working with Kevin to prepare some things for the dance on Saturday, maybe we can go on Monday?” “It’s fine Ju, don’t worry about it. Sunwoo said he would help me tomorrow so hopefully, we can find it. If not, I’ll just have to wait until I find it. Oh, by the way, how’s the dance prep going? Chanhee said that they were a bit behind schedule since Younghoon caught a cold,” “Well, yeah it’s a bit behind schedule with prepping the dance hall so Sangyeon, Hyunjae, Eric, and I are gonna help them after the game tomorrow so I can’t drive you home cause we’re gonna stay until everything is fixed,” “I can help out too, the dance committee really need to get some more members, there’s so few of them,” “No, you should go home tomorrow, or you won’t have any energy for the dance. And, yeah, you’re right, the dance committee is so short-staffed, everyone loves their events but no one wants to help them,” “Mm, I’ll text Yeji and ask if she can give me a ride, it’s on the way for her anyway,” “I don’t think she can, Yeji and the other cheerleaders are doing prep of their own for the dance,” “Oh, then I guess I’ll just take the bus,” “I could ask Sunwoo to take you home, he’s not helping out with the dance prep cause I’m scared he’ll start bickering with Chanhee and ruin something,” (Y/n) looked at her brother a bit quizzically, (Y/n) was pretty confident that Sunwoo had a crush on her and if she knew, that meant Juyeon definitely knew. (Y/n) was surprised that Juyeon would still allow Sunwoo to be close to her, last time someone had a crush on her, Juyeon literally chased the guy away, with the help of his teammates. “I wouldn’t want to bother, Sunwoo, I can just get home on my own,” “He’ll gladly do it, besides I don’t want you to go home on your own that late. Here, take my phone and text him,” “Okay,” (Y/n) took Juyeon’s phone and opened it to text Sunwoo. *Hey, can you drive (Y/n) home tomorrow after the game?* *Yeah, absolutely, no problem, see ya tomorrow, cap* “He said he’ll take me home tomorrow,” “Great,” Not long after, the two siblings arrived home, ate dinner, and then headed to bed.
Sunwoo’s POV
I swear that time was moving slower than ever this morning. My classes seemed to take forever, maybe I was just too eager to meet up with (Y/n), I don’t know but I’m certain that the clock in that lecture hall was only moving every fifth minute instead of each second. Not a second too late the lunch bell rang and I ran out of the room to begin sprinting toward the library, where I was gonna meet (Y/n). “(Y/n)! Cute shirt,” As soon as I reached her I noticed her wearing a very familiar t-shirt, it just so happened that Juyeon accidentally brought one of my t-shirts with him home one day and (Y/n) probably thought the shirt belonged to Juyeon, but nope, it’s mine. “Hi Sunwoo, thanks, it’s Juyeon’s shirt, it was cool so I took it, he didn’t seem to notice though,” I couldn’t help but smile even wider at how cute she was as she looked down at the print on the t-shirt. “You sure it’s Juyeon’s?” “I mean I took it from his wardrobe so I’m pretty sure,” “Have you ever seen him wearing it?” We walked into the library and began scanning the fantasy section for her book without her answering my question, she looked really focused so I thought she might have forgotten about the question. “Now that you mention it, no. I’ve never seen him wear it but I think I remember seeing someone else wearing it,” “Really? Who?” She looked toward me with a somewhat embarrassed look, “You,” I tried to quiet down my laugh as I nodded resulting in her blushing like crazy. “That’s right, it’s my shirt. However, I think it might be yours now, 'cause you look so cute in it,” I walked closer to her while she covered her face with her hands. “(Y/n)?” “Yeah?” “Look at me,” “No,” “I found your book,” She removed her hands from her face and looked up at me happily, “REAL-mm?!” I swooped down and gave her a peck on her lips, “Shh, we’re in a library,” (Y/n) froze, she just stood there staring at me while one of her hands lightly covered her lips. “Why?” “Why what?” “Why did you kiss me Sunwoo?” “Because I like you,” “Seriously?” “Yes, (Y/n) I’ve liked you for a long time and I haven’t been subtle about it, I’m surprised you didn’t know already. So, do you like me back?” “Mmm, I will if you can find my book for me,” “That’s easy then, considering that I did find it,” I reached over her head and took down a book, the one she had been looking for, and handed it to her. “But, I searched for hours yesterday, how could you just find it in 30 minutes??” “I had my good luck charm with me, everything is easy when I have you with me, but, since I found it, that means you like me?” She turned her back to me as she clutched the book to her chest. “Yeah, I like you,” She tried to walk away from me but I followed after her, probably smiling like a dork because I was so happy. As we stepped out of the library (Y/n) finally stopped to look back at me for a second and then she began walking again. “Wait, (Y/n), I have two very important questions to ask you,” She stopped and turned to face me once more, her face was as red as a tomato from how much she was blushing. She’s so cute. “Alright, what’s the questions?” “This isn’t one of them but do you not want to spend time with me? You seem to want to run away?” “I’m embarrassed and don’t know what to do right now, I need to find Chanhee to get advice,” “You don’t have to be embarrassed, I like you and you like me, no need to feel embarrassed. Anyway, my first question: (Y/n), would you do me the honor of going to the dance with me?” “Yes, I’d like that,” “Great, secondly: be my girlfriend?” She took a step closer to me and leaned a little closer, kissed me on the cheek, whispered ‘yes’ and then she ran away before I could react. “See ya after school, good luck on the match, bye,” She shouted as she ran. “YESSSSSS!” I shouted and did a little dance before I walked toward my next class. Lee (Y/n) is officially my girlfriend and I couldn’t be happier, let’s just hope Juyeon doesn’t kill me for dating his sister.

Jeonghan’s POV
(Y/n) and I were getting ready to go to Seungcheol’s birthday party. I was just about done and was now sitting on the bed waiting for (Y/n), I was excited to celebrate my best friend’s birthday but at the same time, I didn’t have too much energy and would have preferred to just stay in and watch a movie while cuddling had it been any other day. “Hannie, did I leave my earring on the counter in there? I can only find one here,” “Uh, I don’t know but I’ll check,” I walked over to the counter and as expected, (Y/n)’s earring lay there right where she had put it before going into the bathroom. I picked it up and walked into the bathroom, as I walked in and laid my eyes on (Y/n) I gulped. “Holy shit, babe, honey, love, you look amazing! When did you buy this dress? And how come you’re wearing it for Seungcheol?” “Jeonghan!” She turned to me with a playful glare and also gave me a playful weak push on my chest as we both laughed. “I meant what I said though, you look so good, oh, and also, I found your earring, here,” “Thanks, honey, you don’t look too bad yourself. Wearing your shirt so open for Seungcheol, or maybe for Shua?” “Of course, I have it so unbuttoned for Joshua, and Seungcheol, I have to remind them that I’m incredibly hot,” “Ahh, yes, of course,” We both burst out into laughter. I loved this about our relationship, we have been dating for a long time and we’re never awkward with each other, we always have a lot of fun and act like we’re best friends most of the time. We have many inside jokes, it’s amazing. “The taxi will be here any minute, you almost done?” “Yeah, the earring was the last piece of the puzzle so I’m ready,” “You sure?” “What? Why? Have I forgotten something?” “Yeah, your lipstick is a little messy,” “Huh?!? No it isn’t?” (Y/n) quickly turned to look in the mirror before she looked quizzically at me, as she turned back to me I quickly moved closer and kissed her. As I pulled away I gave her a wink. “It is now,” “Yoon Jeonghan! You damn devil,” “You love me and my devilishness,” “I do, I really do. Huh, who knew you would look better in my lipstick than me?” I just chuckled before taking a makeup wipe and wiping my lips to remove the lipstick.
Soon we found ourselves outside the venue where Seungcheol was having his party, the music was blasting so high we heard it from 3 blocks away, the venue was overflowing with people, the stank of alcohol mixed with sweat was very potent in the air, and lights were blinking every color you could imagine. “Let’s go!” (Y/n) was very excited, we haven’t seen the boys in quite a while, having been too busy with our jobs and everything. We walked in and tried to find some of our friends, which took a while because Seungcheol invited every person on Earth or something like that. After around 30 minutes we managed to find Seungcheol, Hoshi, Joshua, Dino, Jun, and Minghao. “Happy birthday CHEOL!” “Thank you, (Y/n)! Yoo girl you’re looking so good, damn that dress is fire!” “Thanks, Cheollie, though I should really thank Minghao, he was the one who said I should buy it when we were out shopping a few months ago,” “I got an eye for fashion, what can I say, I’m a fashion god,” Now, most people would probably think I would get jealous because Seungcheol complimented my girlfriend and Minghao went shopping with her, but here’s the thing, I’m not, I know (Y/n) is looking super good right now, and she often goes shopping with Hao because she values his advice when it comes to fashion, they’re like siblings though. I have no reason to worry, also I trust her, I know she loves me and I love her. We stayed there chatting for a while before (Y/n) said she was gonna go and try to find some of her girlfriends to say hi.
About an hour and a half later I decide to try and find (Y/n) again to see if she’s eaten anything yet or if she wants to hit the buffet with me. It took a while but eventually, I found (Y/n) sitting on a bench talking with some guy, which usually doesn’t bother me but this dude was sitting very close to her and he was flirting like crazy. (Y/n) didn’t seem to notice though as she was talking about a trip she and I went on last year. “Hey, you’re really pretty, wanna get out of here and do something fun?” “What? Uh, no” “Why not? I’m hot and really good in bed, I can promise you that you would be satisfied,” I heard (Y/n) let out a sigh before she answered him. “Mmm, really? You can guarantee it?” I couldn’t believe it, was she considering it? It didn’t seem like her. “Of course, I can already guess what you like,” “Really?” (Y/n) crept a little closer to the guy, almost like she was about to kiss him. “Then, you know exactly what I want right now?” The guy leaned closer too, staring at her lips. “Yeah I do,” He seemed very confident. (Y/n) put one hand on his cheek before smirking. “Then, how come you’re still here? Leave me alone, I said no, accept it and fuck off,” She harshly turned his head right before he could kiss her and I couldn’t help but start laughing at his face, his expression. “Hannie!” (Y/n) got up and ran over to me the second she saw me. “Hey baby, I’ve been looking for you, wanna hit the buffet with me?” “I’d love to,” For good measure, and to settle the jealousy that had sprouted at the thought of (Y/n) flirting with the guy, I gave her a passionate kiss. As we parted from the kiss the guy was looking like he was seconds away from crying. “Come on, do you think they have pineapple at the buffet? I’ve been craving it like crazy lately,” “I don’t know, let’s go check,”
After we had gotten some food, and a lot of pineapple slices, (Y/n) and I found a spot to sit down at. “Jeonghan, were you jealous or worried when you found me talking to that douchebag?” “Well, to be honest, I was jealous when it seemed like you were into him but as I got closer I heard you telling him about our trip last year but that feeling just wasn’t leaving,” “You know I only have eyes for you. I love you. Only you. He approached me and it seemed fine when he only wanted to know where I got this bracelet, you know the one you bought me during the trip, so I told him but I don’t think he listened or heard me say that it was an anniversary present from my boyfriend.” “I know. I love you too, only you. Seems like he was more interested in your lips and curves rather than the bracelet,” “Yeah, I realize that now. I’m just glad he actually left us alone after I rejected him the second time,” She gave me a peck on the cheek as we began talking about something else.
“Wanna go home? It’s like 3 am,” “Yeah, let’s go home,” We called a taxi and went home after having spent the last hour dancing and talking with our closest friends. When we got home I couldn’t help but remember how it felt to be jealous, it was probably my first time feeling like that, it was not fun. But I know something that would help make me feel better and that is fun. “Hey (Y/n),” “Huh? OH!” She turned to me and I pulled her close kissing her passionately, she returned the kiss with just as much passion. “You look amazing in the dress but right now I’d prefer you without it,” I gave her a wink after I had whispered that by her ear and began pulling the dress off of her body. “Yoon Jeonghan, you handsome devil,” Though I doubt she was complaining as she unbuttoned my shirt. Let’s just say that we definitely solved the jealousy.

The Art of You
Tumblr media
Model Seonghwa x photographer afab! reader
Requested by: @shinestarhwaa “Anything with Seonghwa, maybe with another job than idol”
Summary:
Park Seonghwa works as a model, and he is well-known in the industry for two reasons:
He’s incredibly good-looking.
He’s extremely tough to work with.
His agency is close to firing Seonghwa because of all the trouble he creates, but they decide to give him one more chance by pairing him up with one of their newer photographers who, just like Seonghwa, doesn’t have the best reputation. (Y/n) (L/n) is well-known to be a great photographer, however, she is troublesome to work with as she never seems satisfied with the photos which irritate most people she works with. The agency decides that hopefully the two young and talented people would find some balance by working together, if not maybe letting them go would be better for the agency.

Warnings: cursing, mentions of bullying, some offensive comments (About someone’s work and talent), insecurities about one's own looks, Seonghwa being a bit arrogant and at times described as lazy, let me know if I have missed anything.
Please reblog and like!
This isn’t my best work but I hope you still like it!

Third person POV
A busy buzzing was occupying a large office, phone calls, conversations, clicking of the keys on a keyboard, faded music from a screen or two, and of course, the signature sign of this office - the clicking of a camera snapping a photo. This is KQ Agency, the number one agency to be at if you want to be a model or professional photographer. If someone needs a model or photographer the first place they call is KQ.
In a far-off corner, you will find the boss of this operation, Mr. Choi, who wasn’t having a very good day. Lately, he has gotten nothing but complaints regarding one of his models and one of his photographers. Both also happen to be the best in their own line of work.
*Knock knock*
“Come in,” Mr. Choi was sitting at his desk looking over several papers when a firm knock was planted on his door. The person who stepped inside was the head manager of the entire agency, the right-hand man of Mr. Choi, Mr. Kim. The two were also great friends, having spent a lot of time working together and going on way too many after-works together to not be friends both inside and outside the office. “Hey man, what’s up? Haven’t seen you all day,” Mr. Choi, moved his attention from the papers toward his friend who had an exhausted look. “We got yet another complaint regarding Park Seonghwa today, it’s the third one from today. It’s ridiculous,” Mr. Kim sat down on the little couch in the room and let out an exasperated sigh after delivering the news to his boss and friend. Mr. Choi too let out a sigh. “What was it this time?” “First it was his attitude, apparently he was complaining about the lighting not being good enough, then it was laziness, he wouldn’t leave his make-up chair until he ‘felt like it’, then lastly, once again. His attitude, he wasn’t happy with how the photographer was taking the photos so, Mr. Park told the photographer that he was ‘a useless amateur who could be replaced by the wall because it has more talent and knowledge than him…’ At this rate, it isn’t even worth keeping Park Seonghwa at the agency, we have tried pairing him up with almost every photographer at our agency and others… How can we keep a model that no photographer wants to work with?” Mr. Choi let out another heavy sigh. He liked Seonghwa, he did, because Seonghwa has talent, he was almost an expert without any training when he first came to the agency, however, Mr. Choi quickly realized that the young man had a lot of opinions and he was too stubborn to let anyone else have their way. “Also, we have another problem,” “Let me guess, Miss (Y/n) (L/n). Our famous photographer,” “You are right my friend, the client complained that Miss (L/n) was impossible to work with as she was never satisfied with the set, the lighting, the poses, the pictures, nothing. So eventually the client walked away without finishing the shoot,” The two men sighed once again, their two most talented employees were also, unfortunately, their two most troublesome employees. “So, what do we do my friend?” Mr. Choi was troubled, he genuinely believed that the two youngsters were the most talented people in the industry but unless they stopped being such perfectionists they won’t find any work. “We’re at the end of the road here, but perhaps their final chance can be with each other. Considering their personalities when it comes to work, they might actually be a good pair. And if they can prove that they can work together, then we might be able to keep them here,” Mr. Kim said as he stood up from his seat on the couch. “Perhaps you are right my friend. Did we have anything upcoming for either of them?” “No, as of today neither of them has any planned schedules for another month or so. Miss (l/n) has the cherry blossom shoot at the end of March but until then she is free. Mr. Park is free until the beginning of April for his birthday shoot,” “That’s great, now don’t you think we need some new pictures to represent the company? And who better to model for them than our most popular model? And who better to take the pictures than our best photographer?” “That’s a great idea, boss. I will let the two know of their new schedules,” The two men finally smiled and hoped that their plan would work.
That very night (Y/n) and Seonghwa received an email announcing their assigned project as well as a paragraph explaining that the two must prove themselves to stay with the agency. While they felt a bit annoyed at the situation itself neither one could deny the fact that they looked forward to working with the other. Maybe this time they could work with someone who understands the art of photography and perfection.
The next morning at the office
At exactly 7:55 AM (Y/n) walked into the office, the photographer always arrived at this exact time, never a minute earlier or later.  (Y/n) was walking with confident steps to her office room as she always does, however, on the inside, she was a nervous mess. Of course, she had heard about the Park Seonghwa. He was probably the hottest man on earth, at least in (Y/n)’s eyes. He carries himself with such grace and one could believe he is a god because of his beauty. Although, (Y/n) had also heard that he, just like her, could be quite the pain to work with so this could become quite interesting to see if they will clash or be able to work in harmony. The young woman sat down in her chair after walking inside her room and shutting the door. She had a meeting booked with Seonghwa at 8.30 so until then she would prepare some examples of concepts for the project, as they are supposed to represent the company they need a couple of different sets. (Y/n) found some inspo pics to show her ideas.
At 8:05 AM, Park Seonghwa calmly walked into the office. Unless he had a meeting at 8 or there was a photoshoot, you wouldn’t catch him coming to work on time. He always thought “What’s the use of being here at 8 AM sharp if I don’t have anything to do?” And in a way he is right, his job isn’t to come up with the concepts - no, his job is to look hot and pose for the photos. His first stop was the coffee machine to grab a cup of coffee before he would go and sit down in the room where he would meet (Y/n). Seonghwa had heard of the photographer, how could he not? Almost every single person he has ever worked for has asked him if he knows her and if he could introduce them to her. Even though she wasn’t the person in front of the camera, she seemed more famous than any female model he knew. Of course, he knew that the photographer was talented, he had seen some of her work. He was always fascinated with her ideas, the way she could make even the most boring product seem incredible with the way she posed it, and just how amazing she was at her job. Seonghwa had seen her around the office a couple of times too, though he didn’t know it, he always thought that someone that beautiful must be a model.
At 8.30 sharp, a woman opened the door to the meeting room and Seonghwa opened his resting eyes and turned toward the door to greet his new partner. The model was shocked to find the beautiful woman he sometimes saw walking around in the office walking inside the room, holding a bunch of papers in her hands and a big bag, a camera bag. This, this was (Y/n) (L/n). Holy hell. I’m gonna be working with her? Seonghwa thought as he looked her up and down before clearing his throat and standing up. (Y/n), too was a bit stunned as she opened the door to the room, she had heard from multiple people that Seonghwa wasn’t the best at being on time hence she expected him to be late. So, she was shocked to find him inside the room, meaning he was early, and based on the fact that he seemed to have made himself comfortable on the chair and even had a coffee mug on the table, he had been there for at least 5 minutes. As he stood up, (Y/n) almost swooned at his lean build and handsome face, though she did not miss the way he looked her up and down in what seemed to be awe. “Hello, I’m Park Seonghwa. Nice to meet you,” He extended his hand toward (Y/n) though she awkwardly looked up at him before they both looked down at her hands which were full of papers and the camera bag. Seonghwa chuckled a little. “Oh, sorry. haha. Come on in, sit down,” “Haha, thank you. Nice to meet you too. I’m (Y/n) (L/n),” She walked inside and put down all her things on the table. Once that was done, she extended her hand toward the model while also giving him a smile. “There, now I can shake your hand” Seonghwa involuntarily began smiling because of how cute she seemed. Hwa extended his hand once again and carefully took (Y/n)’s smaller hand into his before lightly shaking it. “Well, now we can officially begin this partnership as we have done the mandatory handshake,” They both laughed at Seonghwa’s comment before sitting down and discussing the project.
The discussion went quite smoothly, Seonghwa was satisfied with the way she had multiple examples of each concept and how she took into account how well he would fit them. An example is, one concept needs to be a cuter and lighter vibe however with his looks that doesn’t really make sense but (Y/n) had an idea of making it a concept of him with a sibling to give it a cuter and lighter feeling without disrupting his usual manner. (Y/n) was happy with the response she was receiving from Seonghwa and how well their teamwork seemed to go. Weird, from what I have heard he’s usually not this easy to get started with… And so the meeting ended without any arguments or problems, to everyone’s surprise. As (Y/n) was beginning to pack up the papers, ready to go back to her room so she could book some venues for the photoshoots, Seonghwa asked her a question that she had never imagined he would, to anyone. “Hey, (Y/n). How come you’re not a model? I mean you’re so pretty, you would be even more popular than I am,” The photographer turned her eyes away from him and back to her papers. “I have my reasons, thank you for calling me pretty but I would much rather stand behind the camera than stand before it,” Hwa seemed a bit disappointed with her answer but he understood. 2 hours ago they had never spoken a word to each other and suddenly he’s asking her a very private question, of course, she wouldn’t answer it. “Would you ever tell me those reasons?” “Maybe someday, if we end up becoming close friends, maybe then” And with that (Y/n) walked out of the room, leaving Seonghwa behind.
A few days later the partners were meeting up at a park at 5 am to have an outdoor workout photoshoot. The two showed up at 4:55 AM even though they came by separate means they ended up arriving at the same time. “Good morning, I have your outfit here in this bag and while you get changed I’ll set up the equipment,” (Y/n) said with a little yawn. “Good morning, okay sounds good but don’t you have a team to help you set up?” Seonghwa said as he also gave (Y/n) a little wave. “Nah, when possible I usually don’t bring a team because it just takes longer with them because I have to explain how I want things multiple times and then I end up doing it on my own either way,” “Ah, I see. Well, I’ll get changed so you can set up in peace,” And so the partners were left with their own chores for a few minutes. (Y/n) had just finished her setup when Seonghwa came back to the location dressed in a tank top that showed off his tan, well-sculpted arms, and a pair of sweatpants, his hair was styled to look a bit messy - as if he had been running his hands through it a couple of times but he still looked incredibly sexy. “Okay, let’s get this over with,” (Y/n) admired how well Hwa posed and especially how good he looked. Damn, I have never wanted to kiss a man more than now…  “Okay, let’s do some more over here of you jogging around, If you could I’d like to overemphasize the movement so that it comes out clearer in the pictures. And I want you to first run away from me and then turn around and run back. Got it?” Seonghwa admired how (Y/n) described her vision so well and never before had he been so satisfied with a photographer. “Yes, if I do this is it good or do you want more or less?” Hwa demonstrated an example of how he would jog. “Mm, the movement is perfect in size however I would like to change your form, it might feel a little awkward but try to move a little stiffer and don’t look at the camera, I want the photo to seem like I found a random person jogging in the park and not a model,” “Alright, so more like this?” “Yes, perfect! Alright let’s get going, this is the last set of pics, we should be done in maybe 15 minutes,” Seonghwa gave a thumbs up before drinking some water and then he moved over to start jogging. And so after 20 minutes, the two had packed up their things and began their separate journeys to the company.
(Y/n) immediately went to her office to sit down and work on editing the photos she took this morning. After choosing the best ones and touching up the lighting she was satisfied, they didn’t need much fixing because Seonghwa was perfection in human form. (Y/n) sent a message to Seonghwa asking him to come by her office, to which he responded ‘on my way’. Minutes later Hwa was knocking on her door. “Come on in partner,” “Good afternoon, I brought you a cola,” “Thank you! Come, sit down here beside me. I wanna show you the photos from today,” Seonghwa walked over and sat down on the chair beside (Y/n), they sat so close to each other that their arms were touching. Seonghwa couldn’t help but admire how pretty (Y/n) looked with her hair thrown into a messy ponytail and the way she was so focused on the computer in front of her. “Okay, so here are my favorites, we need to choose just 3 of them and I have about 15 favorites so I need your help to narrow them down,” “Am I that good-looking?” “Nope, most of my favorites are pictures of you making weird faces.” “haha, you liar. I always look good no matter what,” While (Y/n) couldn’t help but think that it was true, she just shoved him playfully before they began looking at the photos.
And so their partnership continued and after 2 weeks, the two had become quite good friends. Finding companionship in each other’s perfectionism and personality. While the two also began harboring romantic feelings for one another, neither wanted to say anything, afraid of being rejected and saying something too early. Seonghwa still wondered what reasons (Y/n) had to stay behind the camera, in his eyes the photographer was insanely pretty and beautiful so he couldn’t understand why she wasn’t a model or an actress or something like that.
One night after a long photoshoot at a street market, their last photoshoot for the project. Seonghwa and (Y/n) decided to have a little dinner party in Seonghwa’s apartment. The party consisted of just the two of them, some pizza, some snacks, and soda - not even alcohol, but they were happy with this.
“Okay, did you know that Jung Wooyoung is number 2 on the list, just after you, of models you kind of don’t want to work with?” “What? No, I didn’t. Woo’s actually a friend of mine, I get why people don’t like me because I’m such a perfectionist and so but why don’t they like him?” “It’s not that they don’t like him, he’s very likable and sociable but that’s one of the problems. He’s so energetic and he’s not a master of concentration so he has a tendency to distract the set workers and himself. So, when working with him, the only way for it to work is if you’re doing a one-on-one shoot or Kim Hongjoong is there. Hongjoong seems to be the only one that can keep Wooyoung in check,” “Yeah, that does sound like Wooyoung. You should see him when he’s with Choi San. They’re a nightmare when together, not even Hongjoong can contain them then,” “Mm, I can imagine that. I’ve done one shoot with Wooyoung before but fortunately, I did a double of him and Hongjoong so I didn’t have that many problems. I think that was one of the few shoots I didn’t receive any complaints about,” “Yeah, it was the one featuring the new make-up line of (insert makeup brand), right?” “Exactly, Hongjoong’s an ambassador for it, and Wooyoung just happened to be picked for the pairing,” And so they continued talking about their different experiences at work and some funny stories of their private lives.
“Hey, (Y/n)?” “Hm, yeah what is it?” “You don’t have to answer but how come you never seem to take any photos of yourself? I mean, your insta is full of pictures of your friends and place but not a single one of you” (Y/n) looked away from Seonghwa and down at the floor. Seonghwa feared that he had ruined their comfortable atmosphere with his question. “It’s because, from a young age, I always found that my photos turned out way better if I took a picture of something or someone I loved. And during my childhood, I struggled a lot with loving myself and whenever I took a picture of myself, I couldn’t see anything good with it so I stopped taking photos of myself. I know it sounds stupid, but while I can find beauty in most things, I can’t find it in myself. So, yeah. I only photograph what I love. That’s why I’m so obsessed with having my sets be perfect,” Seonghwa had a hard time believing that someone as beautiful as (Y/n), struggled with her own looks because, in his eyes, no one could compare to her. However, he also knows that you can’t decide for someone else whether they love something or not, even if that thing is themselves. “I understand that it can be challenging to find yourself beautiful, I struggle with it too. I actually never thought I could be a model, nonetheless be so popular, but now, I love it. It took quite some time for me to fall in love with the art that is me. So, maybe it is the same way for you. In my eyes, you’re the prettiest, most beautiful person I have ever seen. I have fallen in love with the art of you,” As soon as Seonghwa said it, he realized the words that had fallen from his mouth. (Y/n) too realized what the model had actually said. He’s in love with me? (Y/n) finally looked up at Seonghwa again, finding sincerity and fear in his eyes. Seonghwa found confusion and sadness swirling around in (Y/n)’s eyes. “You’re in love with me?” Seonghwa blushed as he was a little embarrassed, this was not how he was planning on telling her. “Yes. How could I not be? We’re like a match made in heaven, we complement each other so well and you’re such a beautiful person inside and out,” (Y/n) began blushing now, no one had ever spoken to her like this. No one had ever made her feel so special before. “I like you too. I can’t say I love you just yet but I know that I really like you, Seonghwa. Working with you for the past month has been amazing and the way you talk about me, is, is so new. Maybe with your help, I can finally fall in love with the art that is me,” Seonghwa gave (Y/n) a warm smile in return for her confession before he enveloped her in his arms to give her a long hug. After hugging for a couple of minutes, Seonghwa gently released his hold on the photographer to look at her face. “Be my girlfriend?” (Y/n) couldn’t help but laugh at the childish grin on his face and the way his eyes seemed so lovestruck. “Yeah, I’ll be your girlfriend,” As soon as the words had left her mouth, Seonghwa once again leaned forward and gave (Y/n) a sweet kiss on her lips before pulling away and smiling at her again. (Y/n) picked up her phone from the coffee table in front of them and opened the camera, before turning around so that her back was against Hwa’s chest, Hwa quickly opened his arms to pull her closer. (Y/n) carefully snapped a photo of the two of them, while she was looking at the camera, Seonghwa was looking down at her with a silly smile on his lips and happiness in his eyes. Although (Y/n) had half a mind to delete the picture because she thought she looked bad, she didn’t. She kept it. Because even if she couldn’t find beauty in herself just yet, she didn’t have heart enough to delete the picture when Seonghwa looked so good in it. “You know what?” “What?” “You gave me a really good idea for the name of the project. I struggled with finding a good name for it considering the fact that there are many different concepts and we’re representing the company as a whole… but, thanks to you I know just what to call it,”
And so, a few days later. The KQ agency launched their new representative photos taken by (Y/n) of model Park Seonghwa under the project name “The Art of You” a collection of photos that show different sides of a person both in casual and professional settings. The project was highly praised by the entire industry and especially by the company representatives who had assigned it to this particular pair. And with that, the new couple became permanent partners for the majority of their future work under KQ Agency.
With Seonghwa’s help, (Y/n) began finding beauty in herself, especially whenever she was photographed together with her beloved boyfriend.

Third person POV
The winds were harsh, the cold rain was pouring down, and lightning and thunder were booming around the sky. Someone must have angered one of the mighty gods. The weather was ruthless, anyone who stepped outside would be swept away by the wind and be drenched by the rain. The people of the Earthland wondered what could have angered the God of the sky, also known as the King of the clouds, so badly for them to receive his message of fury. The answer would only be known to the heavenly beings, the gods, the fairies, and the demons.
Choi Seungcheol is the infamous God of the Sky or King of the Clouds, the highest-ranked god in this world. Though it was a difficult duty to be the King of the Clouds, Seungcheol quite enjoyed it. From a young age, the god had shown great potential both in power and knowledge so when he was crowned to be the leader of the gods, no one was surprised. His ancestors saw the way he helped his brothers with their assignments when they struggled and the way he cared for the fairies around the palace. The ancestors knew that all thirteen brothers were loved by their people, fairies, demons, and humans alike. But there was something about the way Seungcheol carried himself and the way he acted that proved to the ancestors that with him as the leader, everyone would be safe and happy. The greatest challenge for Seungcheol was managing his brothers, he loved them, they are very, very dear to him but sometimes they drive him crazy. Especially his brothers Jeonghan and Joshua, the mischievous twins, and the energetic trio that is Soonyoung, Seungkwan, and Chan. Today, his favorite brothers were definitely Wonwoo, the god of knowledge for he was mostly unproblematic and calm, Jihoon, the god of melody for he was always busy overlooking the new and old melodies of the world, Minghao, the god of balance just as his duty implies, Minghao isn’t one to let chaos rain, and finally, Vernon, the god of Tranquility, the kid can be energetic and hard to manage if in the mood but many a time you will find him calmly sitting beside the chaos spacing out. Junhui, Seokmin, and Mingyu were all wildcards. Some days, they were calm and easy while other days they were a part of the endless chaos that livened up the palace. The reason behind his bad mood today, was, of course, the mischievous twins or rather one of them.
“Jeonghan, what have you done to all the fairies?” Jeonghan looked up at his older brother with an innocent smile from his seat where he sat, drinking tea with his twin Joshua. “Whatever do you mean, brother? Has something happened to our dear fairies?” “Jeonghan, I know this is your doing, stop pretending to be innocent,” “How do you know it is my doing? It could just as well be Joshua, or why not Chan, he could have imitated our power just to mess with you,” Seungcheol sighed loudly, now glaring at the twins. Jeonghan and Joshua were a powerful duo, together they were the god of chaos one entity, and apart they are the two gods of light and darkness. Though it is not only their godly powers that make them a dreadful duo, it is their intelligence, they can find a way to win any game, going against them thinking you will win is something only a fool would do. “Since early this morning, Chan has been locked inside his room for imitating Minghao’s power and almost removing gravity from the Earthland, he’s grounded for a month unless he shows explicitly well behavior during the closest days, so I know it’s not his doing, that leaves the two of you, and I happen to know that Joshua was in a meeting with Junhui and Jihoon this morning, so that leaves, you” At the end of his little monologue, Seungcheol pointed directly at Jeonghan with a stern look. After performing his morning duties, Seungcheol emerged from the throne room to find that the fairies either had been blinded, were unable to stand from nausea, or were invisible. Cheol was extra worried about one particular fairy, his dear partner (Y/n). The fairy wasn’t the strongest nor the weakest, simply average, but their personality was what captivated Seungcheol. The fairy wasn’t afraid to help out anyone in need, if another fairy was feeling unwell, (Y/n) would tell them to rest and that they would carry out the sick fairy’s assignments for the day even if (Y/n) already had a lot on their plate. When Seungcheol had stepped out into the garden he found (Y/n) laying on the ground unconscious and he ran up to them to check what was wrong only to find a mark that revealed a spell had been cast on the fairy by someone welding the power of light and darkness leading him to now, confronting the two who could be the culprit. “Fine, I’m guilty but come on, no one was injured for real, it was just a little prank,” Jeonghan said as a smirk graced his lips. “(Y/n) is unconscious in the infirmary right now and Seokmin can’t seem to heal them, at least 10 other fairies are in the infirmary too waiting to be healed, because of this prank, all the assignments and duties of the fairies have not been finished, do you know how much work they do around here? If one fairy falls behind on their duties one day, it wouldn’t be noticeable but when all 300 fairies working at our palace fall behind we will definitely notice it. It means no food, no clean clothes, the flowers have not been cared for, the animals have not been fed, nothing has been cleaned, and so much more,” Seungcheol’s anger was rising with every second that passed, the clouds around the palace became thicker and darker, the winds picked up, and so the devilish weather began falling upon Earthland and spiraling around the Sky palace. Jeonghan and Joshua looked at each other with worried looks, just now realizing what this prank had resulted in. No one had seen Seungcheol this angry in decades, the King was usually good at dealing with his brother’s nonsense but today he was releasing the control of his emotions and letting his rage take over. He was seeing red, almost ready to actually hurt the twins, even though Jeonghan was the one who had cast the spell, Cheol knew that Joshua too had been a part of constructing the prank. Seungcheol’s eyes began changing color from a warm brown to a vibrant, fiery red, and a strong dark wind began whirling around him as he glared at the two gods who had now abandoned their tea, ready to try and protect themselves from their king’s rage.
“Cheol!” The second Seungcheol heard the voice of his beloved partner the whirling storm around him disappeared and his eyes changed back to their warm and kind brown color. Cheol turned around to find a tired (Y/n) standing beside a panting Seokmin and a shocked Seungkwan. “(Y/n), you’re awake,” He let out a sigh of relief at seeing his partner standing on their own legs, once again awakened from the stupid prank. (Y/n) walked closer to him and Cheol did the same to meet them in the middle. “Yeah, Seokmin poured a lot of energy into healing me, he can barely stand on his now, he’s completely drained, yet he rushed out after me to find you once we realized that the storm was of your doing,” Seungcheol looked over to one his younger brothers, Seokmin, the god of healing. They were lucky to have him, more than once a day someone would end up with an injury or a sickness so having a powerful healer was quite beneficial. “Thank you, Seokmin, you’ve done a good job. Go rest, you need to regain your energy,” Seokmin lightly bowed before erupting in his usual bright smile. “No problem, my lord. I’ll see you later, the other fairies will recover after some rest, they will all be fine,” Seungcheol sent a nod his way before looking at Seungkwan. “Can I help you Boo?” “No, I just rushed out to see why you were fighting so seriously, I thought we might be under attack,” “I’m sorry for losing my temper, I hope I didn’t worry you too much. Could you seek out Mingyu and ask him if he is capable of throwing together some dinner for us and all the fairies?” “Of course,” Once Seungkwan had gone back into the palace, Cheol once again turned toward the twins with yet another stern look on his face. “The two of you will personally make sure that all of the fairies' duties are finished before sunrise tomorrow morning, without using your spells, I will have Wonwoo install the anti-spell charms on you, and after that, you will apologize to every single person who was affected by this idiotic prank of yours. You will also be on house arrest for the coming two weeks, meaning no spring festival for you,” “Cheol, no spring festival is too harsh, besides, they’re the gods of light, they’re kind of a big part of the festival, remember?” (Y/n) took a hold of Cheol’s hand to make him look at them as they tried to plead for Jeonghan and Joshua. “Fine, for the coming week, you shall assist the fairies in their daily duties if you wish to attend the spring festival,” Seungcheol rarely ever used his king voice, it was a voice he could use to make commands to his fellow gods and his followers that did not allow them to deny him. “Yes, my lord,” Jeonghan and Joshua answered in unison before bowing and then beginning to attend to the fairy duties.
“Are you alright, my darling?” “Yes, my king. I am alright. The nausea just hit me quite hard so I ended up fainting and when I fainted I hit my head because of the fall but Seokmin healed me up completely so I have no remaining injuries,” “That’s good, I don’t know what I would do if you had been seriously hurt,” Seungcheol rested his head on his partner’s shoulder just breathing in their scent. “It’s okay Cheol. I’m alright, I will always be alright, as long as I have you,” (Y/n) lightly pushed Cheol away from them, enough to be able to lean in and kiss him. Seungcheol immediately kissed them back. The only thing that could always, without fail calm down the all-mighty King of the Clouds, was the delicate fairy who had since long stolen the king’s heart.

Never Try and Steal a Wolf’s Mate
Tumblr media
Kim Namjoon x female reader
Wolf AU, werewolf AU, soulmates AU
Wordcount ≈ 4.7k
Warnings: possessive behavior, violence, age difference (Namjoon is 25 in this & reader is 20), I think that’s it but do let me know if you can find anything else.
Please reblog! Requests are open!
Third person POV
Tall. Handsome. Dangerous. Those are three words that perfectly describe Kim Namjoon. Everyone knows that he is someone you don’t want to cross. He’s always had a frightening vibe to him. Yet, every girl in the town would give anything to be with him because he is handsome. Very handsome.
To say that Namjoon is dangerous might be an understatement though. There is a reason why his aura is so strong that even the guys in school who were taller and more built than him would back away from him. The reason is that he’s a shifter. A wolf - some people may call it a Werewolf. However, he is more than just a wolf. He’s an alpha - a born alpha. His father sometimes struggled to raise his son as Namjoon’s alpha side surfaced from a young age. Namjoon would often lash out at anyone who got in his way or disagreed with him. His father who was the alpha at the time tried to keep Namjoon in check but his attempts did not do much. Namjoon’s alpha was strong and he wouldn’t bow down to anyone, not even his own father. As he grew up Namjoon learned to control that side of him; however even while holding back it was clear that he would win any fight that he joined. Namjoon had mastered the ability to control his temper so that he would not lash out and kill someone for nothing. Though, there is one thing that makes his blood boil more than anything. The idea of someone messing with his mate. His girlfriend. Especially since she is human. Thus, she can’t fight in the same way that he and his pack can. So if you want to see Namjoon angry, just approach his mate with the wrong look in your eyes. I promise you, you’ll face a very pissed-off Namjoon but I can’t promise that you’ll survive the experience.
So to summarize:
Name - Kim Namjoon
Age - 25
Creature - Shifter, aka wolf, aka werewolf
Position - Alpha
Tall, handsome, dangerous, very strong, and a little (more like extremely) possessive.
Now let’s meet his mate.
Short. Beautiful. Smart. Three words, of many, that describe (L/n) (Y/n). The girl that every boy in town has or has had a crush on. She’s always been top of her class in almost everything - every subject except for PE. There is one more thing, (Y/n)’s always been a little weak - no matter how much she tries she just can’t get strong, she can’t run longer than a few meters before she’s exhausted, these things have always been a struggle for her.
(Y/n) was aware that shifters and such creatures excited long before she met Namjoon, though she never knew she lived in the same town as a whole pack of them. (Y/n) was just visiting the university the day that she met Namjoon, which was also one of his last days in that very school.
So to summarize:
Name - (L/n) (Y/n)
Age - 20
Creature - Human
Position - Nerd, good girl, or smart girl (I guess)
Short, beautiful, smart, weak.
Let’s go back to how they met.
The day that the two met for the first time was quite an eventful day for both of them.
(Y/n) had for a week been planning to visit Hybe University - aka, HU. It was her dream university, it has a great reputation and it was located in her hometown.  She had won a competition by writing an essay on intelligence which allowed her to visit the school during an ordinary school day - something they usually don’t allow. However, that very morning (Y/n) ended up oversleeping so she didn’t have time to really dress up rather she just threw on a pair of leggings and a hoodie before running out of the door. Though, she could only keep that pace for a few steps before she felt like she would suffocate from not being able to breathe. She realized that her only option for making it in time was to take a taxi. Luckily, many taxis passed the street she lived on even while they weren’t driving anyone already. As soon as she was inside the car and the driver knew where to take her she realized that her hair was a catastrophe. (Y/n) tried taming it with her hand but it was a futile attempt. She ended up making a low ponytail as it looked the most okay out of all the hairstyles she could think of.
While our dear (Y/n) was fighting with time, Namjoon had other things to deal with making his morning quite eventful.
Namjoon’s POV
Growls. All I felt were the vibrations in my chest formed by my growling. My body grew hotter as my anger rose. My fangs protruded out of my lips, my claws grew longer, and the wolf side of me was trying to come out - the alpha trying to take control. Why? Because two of my closest friends, who also happen to be my betas (second in commands), were fighting at 6 am… “This would have never happened if I had been in charge of the patrol all the time. You know, I’ve never messed it up. My teams always have full control over everything,” “Well, if you’re so great then how come Namjoon made me a beta after you? because he saw that you couldn’t actually handle it so he needed someone to do what you couldn’t,” “But he still chose me first,” “SHUT UP!” I said loudly in my alpha tone. My eyes had grown red, as red as fresh blood. The two betas shut their mouths and turned to me. My breathing was hard, that isn’t a good sign - it means I am struggling to hold back. “First of all. It is 6 am, why the hell are you in my house screaming at each other, at 6 fucking am?” “We’re sorry, alpha. But, this morning a rouge entered our territory. Only briefly though, we quickly found him, and then he ran off, so I came to report this as I was in charge of patrols this night,” I strained my eyes at him. “A rouge entered MY territory and I only find out about it now? Why didn’t you mind-link me when it happened, Hoseok?” “It only happened 15 minutes ago and I forgot to link you as I chased after him…” He lowered his head in submission as he felt how I let my alpha aura grow more protruding. “And you, Seokjin, why are you here?” As soon as his name left my lips, panic filled his eyes as the tone I used wasn’t a friendly one. “I happened to be awake as I heard a commotion by my house, as I looked outside I saw Hoseok chasing after the rouge just as it left the territory. I went outside to see what had happened only to find out that Hoseok had been slacking off and wasn’t patrolling as he should, so I came here to make sure you knew about it,” “It never crossed your mind that perhaps you should have contacted me at the scene?” “No alpha, sorry alpha. It slipped my mind,” I sighed. “You both may be two of my closest friends but frankly, I made you betas because I thought you were best suited for it - yes both of you as you both balance each other out but now I am starting to regret my decision and I am thinking that maybe Yoongi would have been a better choice even if he has a more hostile personality sometimes. If you two want to keep your titles then you both better start taking this seriously and work as a team, because that’s what you are. A team. Right now you’re acting like children, and I am getting tired of it. One more chance, either of you fuck up again and you both lose the title. Now get out of here, I need to get ready for school, even if I should have been able to sleep for another hour. Take care of the breach problem together, if it isn’t fixed by the time I am back from school - it will be bye-bye to the beta position…” “YES ALPHA!” Seokjin and Hoseok said in unison before they ran outside.
I went to my home gym where I keep a boxing bag. I approached the boxing bag and hit it repeatedly while adding more strength with each punch until the bag flung off the hanger from the roof. “ARGH!!!” My breathing was erratic, my sight was blurry, and the frustration kept pumping adrenalin through my body. With a couple more screams and growls, I finally managed to tame the anger and calm down. Having this power is often a good thing, few other packs try to attack us - they know it’s no use - even rouges stay far away, well most of them at least. However, this power is a pain as well. The tiniest thing can make me lash out and even one hit from me can kill someone, it’s hard to stay in control. It would be easier with a mate, an anchor, someone that would be able to calm the wolf - my alpha side - it would only cave for my mate. Unfortunately, I have not been lucky enough to find my mate yet. Most shifters find their mate when they’re around 16, I’m 23 and have yet to find them. Which is only agitating my alpha, he wants his mate and he wants them now - and honestly, I agree.
After my rampage in the gym room, I went to shower, eat some breakfast, and then went to school. Just a few more days and then I would be finished.  Third person POV
Namjoon arrived at the same time he usually does, he found his younger packmates Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook before walking inside. The younger ones were joking around while Namjoon was thinking about a presentation he was to hold this afternoon when his enhanced hearing caught the sound of what seemed to be a fight. Worried that one of his packmates was involved he hurried over to the commotion.
The commotion was: (Y/n) and a bunch of people she didn’t know.
The taxi pulled up 2 minutes before (Y/n) needed to be at the entrance to meet her guide for the day. She quickly paid before she got out, she speed walked to the entrance which made her breathing a little erratic. As (Y/n) opened the door, the clock stroke 8 am which was when she was told to meet the guide. She looked around but didn’t know who she was looking for, she had only been given the name of the guide so she had no idea who to look for. The guide had her picture though, so they should be able to recognize her. Everyone inside was staring at her, she wasn’t surprised though - she looked as lost as someone expecting a wedding but ending up at a funeral. “Hey there pretty girl, what are you doing here?” Some guy walked up to her and frankly, he walked up way too close to her. Her breathing was still erratic, her nerves weren’t helping either. (Y/n) hoped that if she didn’t look at him he would back away. “I, uh, I’m here to visit. I’m waiting for a guide,” The guy was annoyed by her avoiding eye contact so he decided to fix that, by putting his hand on her chin and moving her head up. Though, just as he was about to touch her someone spoke up. “Ya! Minhyuck, back off. You’re just being disgusting acting like this,” It was a girl, she was tall - well taller than the average female. “Don’t but in Han Sora,” (Y/n) jerked her head to the female, Han Sora - that was the name of her guide. A crowd formed around them, Sora walked up to the guy, and (Y/n), as she stood in front of them Sora grabbed ahold of (Y/n)’s arm and pulled her to her side. (Y/n) was immediately thinking that she would have a bruise on her arm within an hour, she always bruised very easily as well. The guy just wouldn’t back down no matter what Sora said.
Namjoon turned a corner and he was now close enough to hear the actual words being said and not just noise. It was Minhyuck causing trouble with some girl again. Fortunately, Minhyuck wasn’t a shifter however Sora was. Thus, making this a problem for him. If someone from his pack is involved in a fight he has to make sure they don’t kill whoever they are fighting. His alpha was pushing inside his head the closer they got, he didn’t understand why, this wasn’t bad enough for Namjoon to need to go full alpha. Namjoon didn’t understand until he saw the commotion, until he saw the girl being protected by Sora. As soon as his eyes landed on that girl, his inner wolf loudly roared mate. Sora, step back. I got this. Yes, alpha. Sora turned around to face (Y/n), “Hey, let’s go over here,” Namjoon was about to lash out at Sora for touching his mate when Minhyuck decided he had the opportunity to do something to Sora. His body language clearly showed that he had the intention of pushing Sora which would result in her falling on top of Namjoon’s mate. Right before Minhyuck’s hands could come in contact with Sora’s back Namjoon caught them in a tight grip which allowed Sora to pull (Y/n) with her to the side. Minhyuck was frozen as he looked up at Namjoon with a terrified face, the senior seemed to be ready to kill him. This was not Namjoon’s first time lecturing Minhyuck, though this time was probably the one time Namjoon shouldn’t have been the one to stand before Minhyuck. The reason for that is, for the first time in many years, Namjoon had almost no control over his wolf - so the possibility och him killing Minhyuck was very big. Sora could feel her alpha’s anger growing, she knew that she needed to find some way to bring the human side of Namjoon to the surface. Sora herself wouldn’t be enough to come in contact with him, but (Y/n) would definitely do the trick.
“(Y/n), I need you to do something for me” Sora whispered, “What?” (Y/n) answered with a low tone, but it was enough to catch Namjoon’s attention. Sora noticed that as soon as (Y/n) said ‘what’ Namjoon tilted his head so that he could see the two of them in his peripheral vision. “I need you to scream Namjoon, and I need you to do it like now. Or something really bad is going to happen,” (Y/n) gave Sora a confused look, after thinking about it for a few seconds she nodded.
While Sora spoke with (Y/n), Namjoon had cornered Minhyck against a wall. He was breathing heavily, his eyes shifting between his usual warm brown and his blood-red, his claws and fangs were on the verge of protruding.  The only thought in his mind was to kill the one who tried to steal his mate. Namjoon himself was fighting his wolf on this matter, Namjoon knew that he shouldn’t kill Minhyuck no matter how much he actually wanted to. But eventually, his wolf won. He raised his fist, a low growl rumbling from deep within his chest, his eyes were no longer shifting between his human and wolf eyes - they were now staying as the blood-red glowing eyes. Namjoon pulled his fist back a little before he shot it forward.
“NAMJOON!!”
Right before his fist came in contact with Minhuck’s face he stopped. The human side is back in control. Namjoon pushed Minhyuck aside, “Don’t ever try something like this again. Okay?” “Yeah,” Namjoon turned to see Sora holding the girl who was shaking like a leaf. Sora, bring her with you to our section room. I’ll meet you there, I just need to calm down a little more first. Sora nodded before Namjoon left.
“Hey, (Y/n). Come with me, I’ll take you to a room where you can rest a little and then we can begin the tour. Or we can fix a new day for you to have a look around if today has been too much for you,” “Okay,” Sora lead the way to the section room that belonged to the club of Lycans - which too many people were a club for the strong, popular, and inhumanly attractive people but in reality, it was for the shifters in school. As soon as (Y/n) read the name of the club on the door, she knew what had happened. That was when she understood who and what Namjoon was.
Namjoon was a wolf shifter. And (Y/n), was his mate.
(Y/n)’s POV
Sora opened the door and let me walk in first, I immediately localized a couch and sat down on it. “You okay?” “Sora, are you a shifter?” “What? How did you know?” “I’ve sort of always known that these mythological creatures existed but I didn’t know that some lived in the same town as me.” “Well, yeah. You’re right, I’m a wolf shifter,” “And so is Namjoon, right? In fact, he’s the alpha isn’t he?” Just as I asked that the door opened again, and in walked Namjoon. “Yes, that is correct. I am the alpha,” Although he spoke with such confidence I could see his eyes shaking with uncertainty, the uncertainty of how I would respond to all of this. He walked over and sat down beside me while still keeping some space between us. “I think I’ll leave now and give the two of you some space if that is alright with everyone?” Sora began walking towards the door. Namjoon looked at me to see what I would answer, he was alright with being alone with me but the question was if I was alright with being alone with him. “Yeah, that’s okay,” I heard Namjoon letting out a relieved breath as Sora waved goodbye before she left the room. I slightly turned my body so that I was facing Namjoon instead of facing away from him, Namjoon did the same thing. “So… you’re a wolf shifter and an alpha…” “Yeah…” He awkwardly scratched at his neck, avoiding my eyes. Surely, he was nervous about telling me I was his mate. “Did you react that way because Sora was involved or was it because of me?” “It was because of you, Sora can handle herself, she’s never a problem for me. But I almost lost control out there, I only came back to it because you shouted my name. It only happened because you’re my mate and someone was threatening you,” “So, I am your mate? What does that mean?” “It basically means that we are soulmates. That you are the only one who can keep me calm, who I will listen to, the only one I would bow down to. The only one I could ever truly be in love with. Though, it’s different for you. As you’re not a shifter, you’re not as affected by this. I have no choice but to be with you, but you can choose if you want me or not,” “What would happen if I said no?” “I would go through excruciating pain for the rest of my life and I would become a monster because I wouldn’t be able to hold back my wolf so I would kill anyone who stood in my way, but I want you to know that if you don’t want me then that is okay. I’ll find a way to manage everything, I don’t want to pressure you into this.” “When do I have to answer?” “Before the next full moon or my wolf will end up seeking you once the moon has risen in the sky. If he ends up finding you, he will mark you meaning you have no choice but to accept me,” “Okay, the full moon is in 2 weeks, right?” “yeah,” “How about we try and get to know each other during these two weeks and then I’ll give you my answer?” “That sounds great,” Namjoon gave me a big smile that revealed adorable dimples. Cute. I gave him a smile in return. “This might be a bit weird, but would it be alright if I hugged you, for a few seconds?” “Um, why?” “Just to calm my wolf, he’s still worried that something happened to you but if we could hold you we would both calm down,” “Okay, just a few seconds though,” Namjoon nodded before he moved his arms so they were wrapped around me and then he pulled me forward into his chest. He was warm, I could feel how strong he was, even though I knew that this man could turn into a beast and kill me within a second I felt strangely safe within his embrace. He smelled of burned cedar wood, it was a nice scent for him. He held his promise and let go of the hug after 7 seconds, just a few seconds he had said. For some reason, I was a little disappointed over the hug ending but I knew more chances would come. “Hey, you came here to check out the school, right?” “Yeah, I did. Sora was supposed to be my guide but she said we could schedule another day if I didn’t want to do it today.” “How about I show you around? No one will mess with you and we can spend some time together and get to know one another” “That sounds nice,” “Great, come on!” During the tour I found out that Namjoon was a senior meaning this was one of his last days here, it also meant that he was 5 years older than me. I was a little worried about what my parents would think but then I remembered that they too already knew of shifters so I wouldn’t have to explain much to them.
Third Person POV
And that was how the two met for the first time. Fast forward two weeks from that day and (Y/n) told Namjoon that she accepted to be his mate - which made him very happy and resulted in him marking her right then. Now, let us go to the couple celebrating their 2-year anniversary.
Namjoon’s POV
I had, with the help of Seokjin and Yoongi, prepared a fancy meal for my date with (Y/n). We would be eating at home but I didn’t want her to cook or for us to order food so I said I would cook. However, I happen to be a terrible chef, thus I asked two of my betas - yes I ended up making Yoongi a beta as well because Seokjin and Hoseok just kept arguing over stupid things so Yoongi is the beta in charge of the betas - who are excellent chefs to help me out, which honestly means that they did everything and I watched from afar.
It’s our two-year anniversary since we became a couple and mates. I really wanted to do something special, since our first year anniversary wasn’t celebrated the way I had preferred… My heat, or rut, ended up coming at that time because it had been a year since I marked (Y/n) but we hadn’t engaged in any spicy activities because we wanted to wait. However, my heat had other plans. (Y/n) was very willing to help me out so it worked out nicely, however my vision for our first anniversary had not been to be a sex-crazed beast for 3 days straight… Therefore, our second anniversary was very important to me. It had to be perfect to make up for last year and to show her how much I love her.
~ A few minutes after Seokjin and Yoongi left ~
I was anxiously waiting for (Y/n) to arrive, I didn’t like being away from her. She is just so precious to me and I would hate for something bad to happen to her. During these two years, I have gotten to know her very well. We really do complement each other, (Y/n) is quite weak while I am very strong physically speaking, however, when it comes to mentality she is far stronger than me.
(Y/n) had been at the university before she would come here, and she said that she would get ready there. I told her to dress fancy, which also made me worry about her getting ready at school… All those people who were interested in her would surely try to steal her away if they saw her in one of her fancy outfits. I mean, she looks good in anything but there’s just something about her fancy outfits, the vibe of them, and just how confident she is when she wears them.
A rhythmic knock landed on the front door. I walked over and opened it. “Hello, my love,” “Hello to you too, Namjoon,” I looked her over, wow. She really did dress fancy, though the thing that made me the happiest was to see her smile and her eyes that were full of adoration and love. Although, the fact that her shoulders were uncovered, showing off the mating mark was a close contender for first place. I let her in and we walked over to the table. “This is wonderful, but I guess you had some help, didn’t you?” I scratched my neck like I usually do when I am embarrassed or nervous. “Yeah, Soekjin and Yoongi helped me cook and prepare pretty much everything,” “I didn’t expect anything else, I actually prefer knowing they helped out so that I can safely eat the food. I love you Kim Namjoon, but cooking is not for you,” “Ya ya, I know. I love you too, my (Y/n)” We then sat down and ate the food while conversing about everything and nothing.
“You know, I guess we have Minhyuck to thank for our relationship,” “What do you mean? Why would we thank that asshole? He tried to hit on you…” “Yeah, but if he hadn’t caused a commotion, you wouldn’t have met me that day. So, if it wasn’t for him being an asshole and you almost killing him, we wouldn’t have met… At least, not that day,” “I guess you’re right, I still regret not hitting him. It would have taught him to never try and steal a wolf’s mate. Especially my mate,” (Y/n) burst out in a laughing fit. “Oh Namjoon, believe me. He knows he shouldn’t have done that. And he never tried anything again. Even though he had an entire year without you in the school when he could have done something, he didn’t. In fact, every time he saw me approaching he would turn and run the other way while looking around him. He was terrified that you would show up and beat him up for only being in the same room as me,” “To be honest, had I been there, I definitely would have done that,” “I know, you’re overprotective and everything but trust me. No one at school dares try anything like that with me because everyone knows I’m dating the very scary CEO of Kim Corporations and some know that I am even dating an alpha,” I stood up and walked over to her, pulling her up from her chair and close to me. “I love you, (Y/n). I’m so happy that you are my mate and that you accepted me as yours,” “I love you too, Namjoon. I wouldn’t want anyone else, not when I can have you,” I leaned down and gave her a passionate kiss that she instantly reciprocated. The rest of the night was, well.. let’s just say it was heated, but neither of us would have wanted it any other way.

I Like The View chapter 5
Tumblr media
Summary: Minho and Felix both want to get a cat to have in the dorm. Hyunjin and Seungmin want to get a dog. Jeongin, Changbin, and Jisung don’t really care, they just want a pet. Bang Chan isn’t sure about either idea as he doesn’t see them having the time to take care of a pet. However, can Bang Chan resist the idea of a pet, or well a hybrid, when the cute little bunny hybrid stands before him?
Warnings: Some sad talk about a dead pet, that’s it I think
Wordcount: ≈ 2k (sorry it’s so short)

Please reblog!
“Sorry,” “No don’t apologize, I just don’t want you to give yourself those problems,” And so (Y/n) stayed sitting close by as she listened to 3racha working on the song, slowly sipping on her smoothie, waiting for the tall and lean dancer.
Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4, Chapter 6, Chapter 7,
Listening to 3Racha working was quite interesting, the way they spoke about why a certain part in a song would fit a certain member and the way they came up with beats and lyrics. “I was thinking for this track, as we start off very hard and we have a more EDM-inspired beat - what if we end it with a very melodious bit that is quite stripped away in the instrumental?” Bang Chan turned away from his computer toward the other two as he explained his idea which immediately awoke some interest in Changbin and Han. “Oh, yeah that would be unexpected but still feel like us, what melody are you thinking?” Han answered while already thinking of some lyrics that might fit that part. Chan showed them an example of what he was thinking which earned him happy nods from his friends. “Hyung! That sounds amazing!” Changbin exclaimed (Does anyone know what song I’m thinking of?). (Y/n) was impressed by how harmonious they were, a perfectly oiled machine. Just after this, the bunny straightened up in her seat as she caught the sound of the front door opening and low voices filled the entrance to the apartment. Han noticed (Y/n)’s reaction and understood what was happening. “I think Minho-hyung and Hyunjin-hyung are back,” (Y/n) gave him a shy smile before she whispered a ‘bye’ to 3racha and hurried out into the hall so that she could hopefully speak with Hyunjin.
“We still need to work on the details for the last transition move, it doesn’t look natural and frankly we could do better,” “Yeah, I know. I was thinking about it too. We still have 2 weeks until we need to be done, so we should be able to work it out until then hyung,” Just as (Y/n) walked around the corner into the entrance hall she could hear the two dancers discussing whatever routine they had been working on. She suddenly stopped walking, realizing that Hyunjin might not want to speak with her now and that she might be intruding on his - and Minho’s - personal space by interrupting them. Hyunjin turned around after removing his shoes, about to pick up his bag again when he noticed (Y/n) standing at the end of the hall glancing around while fidgeting with her fingers. “Hey (Y/n)! What are you doing?” Minho also turned around and greeted the hybrid after Hyunjin had said her name. “Hi…” (Y/n) whispered while still refusing to meet the two dancer’s eyes and fidgeting with her fingers. “Um, I’m waiting for you…” Hyunjin and Minho looked at each other as they both were surprised by the hybrid’s statement. “Ah, were you waiting for Minho-hyung?” “Well, I, um, actually, I was waiting for you,” Hyunjin froze, he was surprised at this. “You were waiting for me?” (Y/n) was still hesitant to look up and meet his eyes, scared that he wouldn’t be happy that she wanted to spend time with him. Minho picked up his things and walked past Hyunjin who barely noticed him until he stopped beside (Y/n). Minho leaned closer and whispered to (Y/n). “Look at him, he’s very happy that you waited for him, don’t be scared bunny. We all love you,” After finishing his sentence, Minho continued walking into their home, toward his room. (Y/n) took a deep breath, collecting some confidence from what Minho told her. We all love you. No one had ever said that before. She never thought she would find someone who truly loves her, nonetheless 8 people who would. (Y/n) looked up and met Hyunjin’s eyes, the second their eyes met, a huge bright smile spread across his lips. “Alright, what do you want to do? I’m fine with whatever, as long as I can spend some time with you,” Hyunjin began walking toward (Y/n) as he waited for her to answer. “I don’t know, I just want to spend time with you,” “Okay, do you like paintings?” “I think so,” (Y/n) shyly looked at Hyunjin a bit worried that he would be disappointed with her answer. “That’s okay, I recently found a passion for painting and making art other than music. It turns out I’m pretty good at it, at least that’s what everyone says. I still think I can do much better, but most importantly it’s fun and another way for me to express my feelings. If you want to we can go to my room and I’ll show you some paintings, we could even paint a little together if you want to,” “I’d like that” Hyunjin extended his hand so that (Y/n) could hold it while she walked with Hyunjin to his room.
The first stop was outside Hyunjin’s door where the painting of Kkami was. “This is a painting I made of a dog my family and I had when I was younger, his name was Kkami,” (Y/n) carefully inspected every part of the painting with awe at how beautiful it was. “Woah, it’s so pretty,” Hyunjin brightly smiled at the hybrid’s reaction as he saw the way her eyes sparkled at his art. It warmed his heart to see her pure and sweet reaction. “Thank you, I decided to paint him on my door because he is a very important part of who I am. He was my best friend when I was a child, in every single memory I have with him I am smiling. So whenever I look at my door I smile, because it’s like muscle memory. Kkami makes me smile, he makes me happy even when he isn't here anymore. So if I’ve ever had a bad day I can still smile as I come here because Kkami is here,” (why did this almost make me cry?) (Y/n) looked up at Hyunjin as he told the story behind the painting, (Y/n) noticed how his eyes became glossy, he was holding back tears. Kkami must have really meant a lot to him. Without thinking about it (Y/n) squeezed Hyunjin’s hand a little to gain his attention. Once Hyunjin looked down at her (Y/n) gave him a sweet smile and she said, “Even if you can’t see him, I’m sure Kkami is here supporting you. If he was your best friend you must have been his too. So I’m sure he’s still here by your side rooting for you as you become a star. A dog would never leave their best friend alone,” Those words brought Hyunjin to tears, a few tears escaped his eyes but he didn’t feel sad, he felt happy. Hyunjin wiped away his tears as he saw the worry spreading across (Y/n)’s face and smiled while slightly sniffling. “Yeah, maybe he is. But I think he can finally rest now because I’m not alone. I have the other members, they’re like my brothers, and now we have you. So I’m not alone anymore, but to think that he’s still looking after me makes me happy and nostalgic,” “All animals are loyal if you treat them right, but dogs are just a little extra loyal especially if they build a bond with their owner. I’m sure Kkami loved you 3 times as much as you loved him so, of course, he would look after you because you looked after him,” “Thank you, (Y/n). I never thought that I would need to hear that from someone but it makes me feel relieved. To know that he’s been with me all this time… Anyway, let’s go inside and paint.” (Y/n) understood that Hyunjin didn’t want to keep talking about Kkami right now but she knew that sometime in the future he would and she promise to be there when that time arrives. As she said, all animals are loyal if you treat them right.
For the coming 3 hours, (Y/n) and Hyunjin sat inside his room on the floor painting, 2 of the hours were spent with Hyunjin teaching (Y/n) how to sketch, blend colors, hold a brush, and some more technical things. Until finally, she was ready to try on her own. Hyunjin had a hard time focusing on his own painting as his eyes were drawn to the bunny in front of him, the way her ears twitched every now and then, the concentrated look on her face, and the way she looked so at peace. After 3 hours a knock was heard on the door, “Yeah?” Hyunjin answered. “Dinner’s ready, Minho-hyung says that if you don’t bring (Y/n) out there in 3 seconds he’ll give your food to Changbin-hyung,” Seungmin responded while laughing. (Y/n) looked at Hyunjin with panic thinking they were serious. Hyunjin laughed in response to Seungmin’s message. “Don’t worry, (Y/n). Minho-hyung is only joking. He wouldn’t actually let any of us go without food. He’s only saying that so that I will hurry up, I can be a bit slow sometimes when I’ve been painting,” “Oh, okay.” “Yeah, we often have playful threats like these, I don’t know why. It’s our jargon I guess,” “What does that mean? jar, shark?” “Jargon, it means like inside jokes or a way you speak with a certain group of people,” “Oh I think I understand,” “Yeah, come on. Let’s go wash away some paint from your hands and then go eat dinner before Minho-hyung actually gives away my food,” The two left the dancer’s room laughing and with hearts that felt just a little bit lighter from all the strain they have or are feeling.
During dinner, all the members could tell that their beloved hybrid had let down her walls just a little more than they were earlier. She was speaking a little bit louder, she dared meet everyone’s eyes, and she dared ask for a second serving of food. Maybe a heart-to-heart talk and some comfortable silence were what she needed. After dinner, (Y/n) was struggling to keep her eyes open, all the things that had happened that day finally caught up with her and she needed to rest now to be ready for new adventures tomorrow when she will go with the members to the company for the first time.
“Come on bunny, time to sleep,” Minho carefully took her hand and walked with her to the bathroom to brush their teeth and get ready for bed. The dancer was quite tired too and he had nothing against an early night for once. Once the two were ready they walked by the living room where all the others were watching a movie and said good night. Then they ventured to Minho’s room to sleep. That night, (Y/n) dreamt of how tomorrow would be. The company. The thought was a bit frightening but also exciting, to see how her family worked. She wanted to see it, she wanted to know what they did, after spending some time with 3racha she was curious about the others. Tomorrow will be a good day, it has to be.
~ To be continued ~
Hope you like this Hyunjin centered part. Next time, going to JYP Ent for the first time.

Pairing: Park Sunghoon x afab! reader
Genre: fluff, good-girl bad-boy, soulmate,
Warnings: bad-boy behavior, some mean comments, some violence, sort of sexual assault - a guy who can’t take a no and tries to force a kiss, talking about loosing parents to sickness and accidents, I think that’s it let me know if I’ve missed something
Wordcount: ≈ 7k
I named the bad guy Kim Youngmin and if any idol or actor has this name I do not mean to illustrate that person - my Kim Youngmin is a fictional person who has no resemblance to any living or dead person.
In this soulmate au, you find your soulmate in many different ways but our lovely pairing can find each other by being able to hear the other’s thoughts when they are in pain after having touched each other once, then once they have established a connection - touching more times - they can speak through a mind link, meaning whenever they want they can speak with their soulmate in their minds.
italics are thoughts or mind-linking
(Y/n)’s POV
I was jealous. Angry. Furious even. How come all my friends are finding their soulmates but I’m not? For the past 3 years now, I have tried everything I can think off but I come up empty. Do I not have a soulmate? I must have one… Right? “Come on (Y/n), you’ll find your soulmate eventually, now smile,” My best friend Kim Sunoo said as he gave me his signature bright smile. “Shut up Sunoo, just because you’ve found your soulmate… knnmn” I just murmured something inaudible for the last part. Honestly, I love Sunoo. He’s my best friend and has always been there for me so I am truly happy that he found his soulmate a few weeks ago but I want to find mine as well because when I see Sunoo with his soulmate they just look so happy. I want to feel that too. “I love you too, and you know me. I’ll never shut up!” “I love you, you know that but can I please just sulk in peace for once?” “Hmm, nope! Come on now miss ‘Top of the class’ we have to go unless you want to be late for the first time ever,” Sunoo gave me a cheeky smile before he pulled me up from my spot on my favorite bench, the bench that has the perfect view of the garden where I can just forget about my problems and admire the world. We began walking while talking about the homework from yesterday, we didn’t really look in front of us as we were so focused on discussing the right answer to a question which is why we both missed that someone else was walking there. All of a sudden I bumped into something hard, startled I let out a tiny screech before I heard Sunoo gasp and pull my arm. I opened my eyes and met clothes of leather, oh no. The only guy who dresses like this and not in the uniform is… Park Sunghoon. The school’s very own Bad Boy. He’s a year above Sunoo and myself, and he’s the last person you should bump into. He looked down at me with piercing eyes and even though I saw anger in them and felt scared I couldn’t help but admire them at the same time because they were so deep, so beautiful, and so full of emotions. And anyone who didn’t think Sunghoon was hot, was lying to themselves. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to walk into you” “Look in front of you next time,” He muttered before he walked off. “Holy shit, (Y/n) you just had a k-drama moment with the Park Sunghoon,” “Shut up, let’s just go before he changes his mind about letting me off nicely.”
Third person POV
(Y/n) and Sunoo continued walking to the classroom but this time in silence as they both felt weird after the interaction with the infamous bad boy. Never before had anyone gotten away with such a slight warning from Sunghoon, he was notoriously known for at least threatening to hit the other person or pushing them and saying some harsh words but this time all he did was give (Y/n) a stern look and a verbal somewhat nice warning. Why did he suddenly treat (Y/n) differently from others? Some might think it was because (Y/n) is a female but no, other times when girls have bothered Sunghoon he has treated them the exact same way as he would with a guy. Neither (Y/n) nor Sunghoon had noticed the slight spark that appeared between them when they accidentally touched each other.
As Sunghoon walked away he too was shocked; his heart had acted up by skipping a beat as his eyes met the eyes of that girl. He didn’t understand it. That had never happened to him before. No girl he had dated previously had ever given him this feeling. As he kept walking his annoyed feeling kept rising and all he wanted to do was release it, so he did. By kicking a trashcan. A teacher saw him do this but as Sunghoon looked towards the teacher with eyes that almost seemed to be on fire the teacher felt a shiver of fear strike through him so he decided to leave it be this time instead of confronting the bad boy. Sunghoon sighed as he continued on his journey toward his class because even if he is a bad boy he does attend most of his classes.
(Y/n)’s POV
The class was quite boring as I already knew everything the teacher said because I actually studied… Unfortunately, Sunoo and I didn’t sit near each other for this class which sucks because the closest person to me is a real jerk who doesn’t understand what a ‘No’ is. His name is Kim Youngmin. Youngmin is one of the most popular guys at school, personally, I hate him. For the last 3 years, he has constantly been asking me out and no matter how many times I say that I am not interested he doesn’t get it. And lately, he has become more relentless with his approaches. More often than not he has turned to using violence in order to force me to agree on going on a date with him because he is sure I have to be his soulmate but I am quite sure we are not soulmates. Because of this unfortunate development, Sunoo tries to walk with me wherever I go so that Youngmin isn’t given a chance to approach me. However, today that wasn’t possible as he had to stay behind with the teacher to discuss an extra credits project he wanted to do. I quickly hurried out of the classroom hoping that Youngmin wouldn’t be able to see where I was going with all the other students rushing out at the same time. Alas, luck was not on my side as he could see exactly where I was going and of course, he followed me. My plan had been to hide out in the hallway that Park Sunghoon usually spent his breaks in because as it sort of was known as ‘Sunghoon’s property’ people tended to avoid using it. And I could sit there and study while waiting for Sunoo who knew where I would be waiting for him.
I walked as quickly as I could and I did not dare look behind me because I had no where to run if I saw Youngmin walking behind me. For some reason, I sort of hoped that Sunghoon would be in his infamous hang-out spot. I don’t know why I wished for this, perhaps I hoped that Youngmin would be too scared to approach me in the presence of Sunghoon, or perhaps I hoped that Sunghoon would defend me - to be fair, he had given me special treatment earlier that day who was to say he wouldn’t do it again. Just as I turned into the somewhat darker hallway my heart stopped, it was empty, and I could hear the confident stomping of Youngmin behind me… I was cornered, the hallway was a dead end, and I was alone, with no one to stand between me and the devil who won’t leave me alone.
“How nice of you to choose a quiet place for us to spend some time together” I turned around slowly to be met with Youngmin standing just a few centimeters away from me. I began shaking, this wasn’t good. With a shaky voice, I managed to whisper an answer. “I don’t want to talk with you,” Youngmin answered with a cocky scoff. “Oh we don’t need to talk baby, I think you would enjoy some much more intimate actions” “What!?!” Fear struck through me, what was he going to do? I wanted to scream for help but no sound left my mouth after the ‘what’. He pushed me against a wall, so hard that I had to chip for air as all the oxygen was forced out of my lungs. He kept pushing me back into the wall with such force that I began losing feeling in my hands. Please, help. Someone. Help. I kept asking for help in my mind as I couldn’t open my mouth, but I knew no one would hear me. It was useless. “All of this would have been so much easier if you had just accepted that you are my soulmate,”
Sunghoon’s POV
Last class of the day, sweet. I was gonna head home to get some sleep as I had stayed up a little too late last night watching a series. I began slowly walking away, first talking with one of the few people I call friends - Lee Heeseung, my one school friend. We talked about everything and nothing before we had to split up to go to our separate lockers. As I stood by my locker gathering my things I felt a weird feeling, like an ice-cold breeze, and then I heard a distorted whisper saying ‘help’. I looked around me but no one else was in the hallway with me. Then I heard it again but this time a little louder and clearer, a female voice once again saying help. That weird feeling kept growing on me and all of a sudden the voice turned into a scream that caused my heart to race quicker than ever. I began running, not even closing my locker, I didn’t know where I was running but my body just knew and so I thought that maybe, just maybe this had something to do with my soulmate. I had yet to meet them, so perhaps this could be the time for me to finally meet them. After a minute of running, I realized where I was heading, my favorite hallway - the one that was a little darker and guaranteed privacy. As I turned the corner into the hallway I saw a guy standing facing a wall with what seemed to be a girl between him and the wall. I could hear the voice very clearly in my head screaming for help. I saw how the guy's hands were going white from using so much strength, he was holding this girl forcefully against the wall. He didn’t seem to notice me so I slowly crept closer to them. “Just stay still and let me kiss you dammit, you’ll see that you’re my soulmate after that,” My blood began to boil, no way. That was my soulmate, I think at least, and there is no way I’ll let him touch her.
(Y/n)’s POV
I kept asking for help in my head hoping that a miracle would happen and someone, anyone would come here. I knew it was too early for Sunoo to be done with speaking to our teacher but I prayed that he would come around the corner and save me. “Just stay still and let me kiss you dammit, you’ll see that you’re my soulmate after that,” I slightly shook my head and tried to fight against his hold on my arms but it was no use, he was much stronger than me. “Keep your disgusting mouth to yourself,” All of a sudden Youngmin was ripped away from me and a dark voice spoke out angrily. I ended up falling to the floor as Youngmin kept his hold on my arms for a second when he was ripped away. As I looked up from the floor to my savior, I was surprised, to say the least. I didn’t even need to see the guy’s face to know who it was as his leather-clad back and tall figure was enough to let me know that Park Sunghoon had come to my rescue. The Park Sunghoon. Notorious bad boy had just saved me. Youngmin lay on the floor, face full of fear as he looked up to be met with Sunghoon’s, what I assume to be, angry face. “Com- come on man, I was just having some fun with my soulmate,”
Sunghoon’s POV
“Com- come on man, I was just having some fun with my soulmate,” The guy, who I now saw was Kim Youngmin, tried to defend his actions but he only ended up making me more furious than I already was. “Didn’t look like she was having much fun to me. And, if she was your soulmate I doubt you would have to act like this. I’ll give you one warning - come close to her again and I’ll beat the shit out of you.” He was still seated on the floor and he backed away until his back hit the wall. I slowly walked closer to him and lowered myself before I gave him an evil smile while I lightly (or rather harshly) patted his cheek. “Do we have a deal, Youngmin?” I saw that he looked behind me towards the girl whom I did not know the name of, I corrected his eyes to me with a push on his cheek. “3 seconds until the deal is off and I beat the shit out of you right here, right now…” He shrunk back even more and lowered his eyes. “Deal” He rushed out. I gave him a wicked smile, “Good choice, and remember I will know if you try anything… Now, get out of here,” He quickly got up and ran away as fast as he could. I turned around to find the girl on the floor holding her wrists with silent tears running down her face, I could see her slightly trembling as well. Once again I heard the voice in my head and now I was certain that she is my soulmate. Sunghoon. It was just my name, but who else would be thinking of my name right now?
I walked toward her and sat down in front of her, giving my kindest and most sincere smile, hoping she wasn’t scared of me. I recognized her as the girl who bumped into me this morning.
(Y/n)’s POV
Sunghoon sat down in front of me and he gave me a really sweet almost cute smile. A look I had never seen on him before. “Hey, I’m Park Sunghoon. And I think I’m your soulmate,” “(Y/n), (L/n) (Y/n),” “Are your wrists hurting?” I only nodded, this was weird. Park Sunghoon, bad boy, was sitting in front of me smiling as a prince from some Disney movie would, it just made no sense to me. “Are you afraid of me, (Y/n)?” I was shocked by the question but more so by how sad he sounded. I dared look up and meet his eyes for the first time since this morning, once again I found a plethora of emotions that danced around in his deep warm eyes. “A little, but not as much as before. I think I’m still shaken up from what happened with, him” As I said him I noticed how Sunghoon’s eyes darkened a little and how the right side of his mouth seemed to twitch a little - like an angry tick. “I’m sorry that you find me a little scary or intimidating, I guess I shouldn’t expect anything else though because of how I act. I’m also sorry that I didn’t get here sooner,” I gave him a surprised look as he apologized for not getting here sooner. “Why are you apologizing for that last part? How were you supposed to know I needed help? We’ve never spoken with each other prior to me bumping into you this morning, there is no reason for you to apologize for that,” “But I could hear you calling out for help. That’s why I said I think I’m your soulmate. I was by my locker and suddenly an ice-cold breeze came upon me and then I heard a voice, your voice, calling out for help and my body just ran on pure impulses until I came here to find you and that jerk. So I am apologizing for not getting here quicker when you needed me,” “You could here me in your head?” “Yeah, I also heard you saying my name right as I sat down in front of you a few minutes before,” “But I have never heard your voice in my head? Have you ever heard it before?” I gave him a confused look as I genuinely couldn’t understand how this made sense. “No I haven’t heard a voice like that before, it happened for the first time this afternoon. Let me try and think of something to see if you can hear me,” “Okay,” Sunghoon closed his eyes and seemed to think very hard and I tried my best to see if I could hear anything but all I heard was our breaths. He opened his eyes and smiled at me while tilting his head like a curious puppy. “I didn’t hear anything,” I was quite disappointed, I had hoped that he was right and that I finally found my soulmate but it didn’t seem like this was right. How come you hate me so much universe? You gave me hope that someone as hot as Sunghoon could be my soulmate only to fool me… “You think I am hot?” I snapped my head up so quickly that I think I gave myself whiplash, “What? How did you-” “I could hear you, you asked the universe why it hates you and why it gave you hope that someone as hot as I could be your soulmate,” Sunghoon had a look of pride on his face as he tried to once again prove that we were indeed soulmates. “How come you can hear me but I can’t hear you?” “Hmm, I don’t know but maybe it could have something to do with your wrists,” I looked down at my wrists, which were still red and very sore from the previous assault. “What do you mean?” “Well, I assume that you were here with him for a while, but I only heard you for a short time - perhaps from when you began feeling pain. I am not in any pain, hence you can’t hear me but you are in pain thus I can hear you. I could test it out, I could hit the wall and hurt my hand a little to see if you can hear me then,” “No! You shouldn’t do stupid stuff like that,” I instinctively reached for his hand when he made a fist with it and punched the air to stop him from doing what he said. We both ended up freezing over as I held his fist in my hands, a tingling feeling was spreading through my body and I assume the same for him as I saw him blinking rapidly. I began pulling my hands away when he quickly but gently reached out and grabbed my hands in his. “Please, can we just stay like this for a little longer?” I nodded as I couldn’t find any words, he looked so happy sitting there in the hallway holding my small hands in his large ones. I couldn’t help but smile a little at the childish look on his face. “We should get some ice for your wrists, you’ll most definitely get bruises there but if we ice them they shouldn’t be as bad. Do you have bandages and things at home?” “I don’t think so,” “If you’re okay with it then I can take you to my place, I have everything we could possibly need to treat your wrists. But I understand if you feel uncomfortable going home with me the first time we meet,” “I trust you, Sunghoon. You might seem scary sometimes but with the way you’ve acted now, I don’t think you’ll do anything to hurt me,” Sunghoon’s face became even brighter as he gave me a big smile. “Thank you for trusting me, (Y/n). Can you stand up?” I nodded before standing up, I tried not to use my hands so much to minimize the pain and I managed with some help from Sunghoon to keep me steady when I accidentally brushed my left arm against my leg and winced hard from the pain. “Okay, I just need to go to my locker and hope no one stole my phone or my keys. I kind of left it open when I ran to find you,” “Oh, well let’s hurry then,” We began walking in comfortable silence, I once again noticed how tall Sunghoon was compared to me and how fast he can walk. His long legs carried him with grace and speed across the floor while my short legs carried me slowly no matter how much I tried to keep up with him, I just couldn’t. So I did the first thing I could think of, Slow down you giant. Sunghoon came to an abrupt stop as he turned around to find me a few meters behind him. “Did you just call me a giant?” “Yes, I did. I know I said that we should hurry but can we hurry at my pace? You know, the person with short legs and slow pace…” He gave a hearty laugh. “You’re so cute. Okay, I’ll slow down for you,” We continued walking, this time at my pace, and Sunghoon made sure to stay beside me and not walk ahead of me. Once we arrived at his locker it was still opened and fortunately, all of his things lay inside, untouched. Which was probably for the best, because who would want to deal with a pissed Sunghoon? No one is the answer to that. “Oh, right. I have to text Sunoo,” Sunghoon raised his head as he heard an unfamiliar name. “Who’s Sunoo?” “Oh, he’s my best friend. I don’t know if you noticed him this morning but I was walking with him when I bumped into you,”
Third person POV
Sunghoon thought back to the morning incident and he did remember a black-haired boy walking beside (Y/n). He felt slight jealousy at the fact that his soulmate’s first thought was to text someone else and not spend time with him. “Why do you need to text him now?” Sunghoon must admit that it was stupid of him to be sulking over this and to be jealous, but he couldn’t help it. He had dreamt of meeting his soulmate for so long, had (Y/n) not done the same? Was she not happy about meeting him? “Because I was supposed to meet him in that hallway to go study together and I know he’ll be worried if he goes there and can’t find me. And, I need to tell him I finally found my soulmate!” Immediately, Sunghoon’s green monster died down and transformed into pure happiness. She was going to tell her friend about him.
Sunoo responded directly as he was waiting for his teacher to print out a paper. His answer was along the lines of: “THAT BASTARD DID WHAT? BEST FOR HIM THAT HE DOESN’T SHOW HIS FACE AGAIN!!! AND WOW, FINALLY, YOUR SOULMATE! BUT HOLY SHIT IT’S SUNGHOON, I WAS TOTALLY RIGHT THIS MORNING YOU HAD A K-DRAMA MOMENT! WHO’S THE BEST AT FORTUNE TELLING? I AM!!! WELL, BYE GOOD LUCK, AND DON’T FORGET ABOUT ME NOW THAT YOU HAVE A HOT BOYFRIEND”
Of course, he had to play the ‘I told you so’ card. Typical Sunoo. But he’s my best friend and I love him so I can’t blame him, and I would totally have done the same if the roles were reversed.
“I have everything, are you ready to go?” “Yeah, just one quick question.” “What?” “How do we get to your place? And if you say motorcycle, I’ll die,” “No, I might be a ‘bad boy’ but I actually don’t have a motorcycle. I have a car, and yes I can drive. Don’t worry, I won’t kill you” “Okay, that’s good. I’m terrified of motorcycles,” “Then, I promise to never buy one, or go on one,” “Good!” And so the newfound soulmates went out into the parking lot and Sunghoon showed the way to his car. They got in and he drove off towards his place. “Here we are!” As promised, he got them there safe and sound even though (Y/n) would argue that he drove a little too fast like all the time and Sunghoon would say that it was boring driving so slow. “Wow,” (Y/n) looked out in awe at the building - it was small yet beautiful though what really caught her attention was the marvelous garden. Grand bushes filled with bright red roses, two fruit trees, perhaps pear or apple, and some other flowers in wonderfully decorated groups all come to surround a dark park bench in the middle of the garden. Though the bench looked lonely. Worn out. It seemed to be the only thing in the entire garden that wasn’t being taken care of. It appeared as though the bench had been, abandoned. “(Y/n), hello? Earth to (Y/n)” (Y/n) shook her head as she came out of the daze she ended up falling into as she stared at the bench and the garden. “Sorry, the garden is just so, so. Beautiful,” “Like you then,” Sunghoon said as he gave his soulmate a wink along with his charming smile. “Stop it, I’m not that beautiful, anyway, what were you trying you say when I didn’t hear you?” “I was trying to ask if we should  head inside so that we can actually ice down your wrists and everything?” “Oh, yeah. Sorry about spacing out,” “Don’t worry about it, I do that too out here sometimes,” And so the two got out of the car to then slowly tread over the green grass to the chestnut-brown front door. The interior was almost exactly like (Y/n) expected it to be. Messy. Dark. You know, the general bad boy design. The one thing that felt out of place was a small peach-colored glass vase on a wooden desk with a bouquet of the same red roses from the garden. On that same desk was a golden-specked black frame with a photo of Sunghoon and two other boys and a woman who was quite similar to Sunghoon, his mother (Y/n) presumed, he was a few years younger in the photo than what he is now. Sunghoon chuckled as (Y/n) was once again spaced out in his presence. Maybe I’m just not interesting, Sunghoon thought. After he took off his shoes, Sunghoon walked closer to (Y/n) and he carefully enveloped his arms around her shorter frame in a back hug which was when he realized what had stolen her attention.
Sunghoon’s POV
As I wrapped my arms around her body, I was filled with happiness. The feeling of finally holding my soulmate within my arms was unlike anything I’d ever felt before. Warmth, happiness, contentment, tranquility. At first, my eyes were closed as I took in the satisfaction of holding her but once I opened them I found the item which had stolen her attention away from me. For some reason, I felt jealous when her eyes weren’t on me as I had just found her after 4 long years. My eyes stared at the photo as my mind was filled with nostalgia and sentiment. “That’s my mother, she was an amazing mother. I often felt bad for her, dealing with me wasn’t always easy, I have always been headstrong and a troublemaker so raising me on her own must have been tough,” I rarely ever talk about my mother, or my childhood, but now, with (Y/n), it just felt so easy. I think (Y/n) understood that this was important to me so she simply stood there, listening, though I felt her relax back into my embrace which made me happy and it gave me more courage to continue telling her this story. “My father died when I was about 2 years old so I don’t remember him, it’s always been just my mother and me. Until I turned 7, that’s when I met Jay and Jake, the two other boys in the photo, they’re my best friends. In this photo, we’re 12 years old, I had just won my first competition in figure skating - yes I used to figure skate, it was the one thing I put my entire heart into without causing any trouble. Jay and Jake never bullied me or made fun of me for doing such a ‘girly’ or ‘lame’ sport, they actually found it fascinating to see me gliding over the ice. I didn’t think I would ever win a competition, but they said I would in every single one I entered. Unfortunately, I didn’t win every one but this was my fifth competition and my first win. Mom promised that if I got within the top three she would treat me and the 2 Js to dinner. So that’s where we are heading when my coach took this photo, this was my family - they still are. That’s why I keep this photo here so that the first thing I see when I come home is my family,” It felt good to finally say all that.  It has been a while since I last told anyone. “Thank you for telling me Sunghoon, though you didn’t have to tell me so I hope you didn’t feel pressured to do so,” “I wanted to tell you, it just felt so right,” “Um, could I ask a question though?” “Well, darling. You just did but go ahead, you may ask another one,” “Oh shush. You don’t have to tell me, but you said that your mother was an amazing mother, is she no longer a good mother?” I sighed at her question. “No, she would still be an amazing mother had she been alive -” “I’m sorry, Sunghoon I didn’t know. I’m sorry,” (Y/n) quickly turned around in my embrace her watery sad eyes met my own, and I gave her a smile. “Don’t worry, I didn’t have to tell you. Isn’t it ironic though? Both of my parents have died, my father from some illness and my mother from an accident on the sea,” (Y/n) carefully enveloped her arms around me and leaned her head against my chest before she whispered out an I’m sorry. I tightened my arms around her and leaned my head against hers.
“Come on, let’s go to the living room so that I can treat your bruises,” She backed out of my arms even though I didn’t want her to but it was a must - for now, as soon as I could have her back in my arms I would make sure to keep her there. “Okay, let’s go,” I lead her over to the living room and told her to sit down on the couch while I get the supplies we need. I got two bandages, some soothing cream, two small towels, and lastly some frozen vegetables to cool the bruises down. I walked back to the living room and sat down on my knees in front of (Y/n) before I put all the things I was holding down on the floor. “Firstly we have to ice them down, this might be really uncomfortable but for about five minutes do you think you could sit with your hands out like this on your lap? So that we can ice down the largest area at the same time,” While I spoke I also tried to show her what I meant. “Yeah, I think I can handle that for a few minutes,” “Great,” She put her hands as I had shown her, and then she met my eyes with a questioning look as if asking: ‘What now?’ I wrapped up the frozen vegetables in the two towels and then carefully laid them down on her awaiting wrists. (Y/n) slightly flinched from the cold but then she giggled a little and I answered with a smile. “Okay, now we wait for a few minutes, and then we’ll put on some soothing cream and bandage them up. Would you like to talk or should we put on a movie or something while we wait?” “We could talk or watch a movie, I don’t mind either option,” “Okay, anything special you’d wanna talk about?” “Hmm, that’s a hard question haha. When you told me about that photo you said that you used to do figure skating, why don’t you anymore?” “From the moment I first stepped out on the ice I fell in love with the sport, I still love it, but after my mother’s death, it was hard for me to continue not for economic reasons but for the sentiment I always felt. I lost my concentration and one day during training I ended up falling and I got hurt, it wasn’t serious but for a month I couldn’t skate and during that time I missed it a lot but once I got back on the ice it just felt wrong. So I decided to quit, for a year after that I began dancing instead with Jay and Jake but I’m not really doing that anymore either,” “Wow, I’m sorry. Do you live alone here then?” “Yeah, the house belonged to my mother and she didn’t have any debt when she died so it was passed down to me. So it’s just me and all my stuff,” “Isn’t that lonely?” “Well, most of the time either Jay, Jake, or both of them come and stay with me so then it isn’t lonely but yeah I have to say, sometimes it does feel pretty lonely,” “I couldn’t imagine that, being alone so much. I have two younger brothers, who never leave me alone, and my parents as well so the house is always packed. Also, whenever I am not home with them I spend my time with Sunoo - the two of us have always been friends so he’s pretty much like my third brother or well twin I guess. I don’t think I have ever been alone in the way that you are,” Listening to how (Y/n) described her family and home life I felt lonelier than ever, having a house full of sound and life, sounds amazing. “Your family sounds lively, do you think they’d like me?” (Y/n) lifted her eyes from her arms to meet my eyes, a sweet smile on her lips. “Well, my brothers would definitely love you with this bad boy look of yours and my parents would like your personality once they get to know you - they might be a bit questioning at first because they will believe you’re some heartbreaker jerk or something but I know you’re not despite all the rumors going around at school,” “So you’ve heard all of the rumors, huh? I kinda hoped you hadn’t…” “Hey Sunghoon, look at me. It’s impossible to not hear those rumors - you’re kind of the talk of the town you know… But even before I knew you I could tell that the rumors about you being a heartbreaker weren’t true, maybe the rumors about you being part of some mafia or something but not you breaking everyone’s hearts for fun,” I was surprised that she could believe I was a gang member but not a heartbreaker. “I guess I do give off that impression. And just so you know, I am not a gang member - or a boss, I just have a tendency to act on my anger through violence - that started after I quit skating, I just get so angry and I don’t know how to deal with it unless I kick and punch,” “I’m glad you’re not in a gang but we should try to find some other way for you to deal with your anger other than through violence,” My heart skipped a beat as she said we, we should find some way for me to deal with my anger. Not that I should, but we. That’s right, I’m not alone anymore - I have her now, my (Y/n). I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it had been about five minutes. “Okay, we can remove the frozen vegetables now,” I removed them and put them on the table, then I put some soothing cream on the bruises, and lastly I bandaged them up so that the cream and do its thing. “There, you are all set for now!” “Thank you, Sunghoon” She moved her hands a little before she stood up from the couch and walked over to me, she threw her arms around me so that she could hug me. I quickly returned the hug, even when she tried to let go of me I didn’t let her. I didn't want to let go, so I just tightened my hold. “Sunghoon -” “Please, just for a little longer. I don’t want to let go, I don’t want to feel alone, just for a minute,” “Hey, I’m not leaving. I was just thinking it would be more comfortable if we sit down on the couch and we could watch a movie but still cuddle,” I loosened my hold and looked her in the eyes. “Yeah, that’s true. Sorry, I just love the feeling of holding you in my arms,” “Don’t apologize, Hoon, I love being in your arms too,”
Third person POV
They sat down on the couch, first a bit apart from each other while Sunghoon put on a movie for them to watch. Then, once the movie began they naturally moved closer to each other until (Y/n) ended up leaning against Sunghoon’s chest with her back as he had his arms around her, they both felt comfortable and relished in each other’s embraces. “Hey, (Y/n)?” “Hm, yeah?” “What would happen if Sunoo doesn’t like me? Cause you said he’s like your twin, what if he doesn’t like me?” “Sunghoon, even if I value Sunoo’s opinion, I wouldn’t let him not liking you keep me from being with my soulmate who happens to be you. And besides Sunoo definitely likes you, trust me,” Sunghoon looked down at (Y/n) as she turned her head so she could meet his gaze, they smiled at each other before they moved back to their original position. “It’s getting late, I should probably take you home or your family will get worried,” “Let me just go to the bathroom, which door is that by the way?” Sunghoon pointed in the direction of the bathroom and (Y/n) got up to walk toward it, Sunghoon began cleaning up all the things on the living room table.
Once she had locked the door, (Y/n) took out her phone from her pocket and dialed her mother’s number. “Hey mom, I’m sorry that this is with such short notice but would it be alright if I have a friend over for dinner?” “Hey honey, of course. Is it Sunoo?” “Um, no. It’s a new friend” “Oh, a new friend! How fun! Yes yes, bring them over!” “Thanks, mom, see you soon” “Bye, love you, darling,” (Y/n) let out a relieved sigh, now she just had to hope that Sunghoon would be okay with eating dinner along with her and her family. She then flushed the toilet and washed her hands before leaving the bathroom. Sunghoon was standing in the hall putting on his shoes. “Hey, Sunghoon,” “Yeah?” “What would you say if I invited you to eat dinner with me and my family tonight?” Sunghoon looked up at (Y/n) in shock. “That I am terrified but that I would love to either way,” “Great because I’ve kind of already told my mom that I’m bringing someone over for dinner,” “Well, let’s go then. I don’t want to be late for my first time meeting my soulmate’s family, don’t want to make a bad first impression,” And so the couple hurried out to the car and speed off toward (Y/n)’s home.
Luckily, (Y/n)’s family quickly took a liking to Sunghoon, and her parents were thrilled about her finally finding her soulmate. (I’m sorry to skip this interaction but this is already way too long - let me know if you would like to see another part where I write about the dinner)
After the dinner Sunghoon went back to his house feeling happy and at peace for the first time in a long time. Both Sunghoon and (Y/n) laid in bed that night just waiting for tomorrow to arrive so they could see the other again.
(Y/n)’s POV (in this part only Sunghoon’s mindlink is in italics)
I wonder how everything will be tomorrow at school. What if people stare at me? Hey, if anyone messes with you they’ll have to deal with me. Wait! Sunghoon!?! I could hear you, but I’m not in pain, are you? Can you hear me? Yes I can hear you, no I’m not hurt. I think maybe we’ve just developed our bond after spending so much time together. Oh yeah, that sounds reasonable. Well, good night. Soulmate. Good night to you too, my soulmate.

What a boyfriend is for

Warnings: stress, anxiety, exams, not eating because of stress, food, eating,
(y/n)’s POV
Being a college student is hard, especially when exams are coming up and no matter how much you study you feel like you don’t know anything. So the closer exams are, the more anxious and stressed out you become. That is me right now. I haven’t checked my phone all day as I've been trying to study, though the more I read the less I understand. I don’t think I’ve eaten all day, honestly, I don’t remember. I’m so close to crying, actually, if I think about it, I’m actually crying already, probs have been crying the entire day. I’m sitting on the floor, surrounded by books and my notes, yet nothing seems to help me remember or understand anything for the exam.
It was close to 8.30 pm when I heard a knock on my front door, I thought it might be my neighbor who was worried after hearing my cries all day, so I ignored it. A minute later I heard the lock turning, someone was breaking into my apartment with a key?!? I began stressing over that, yet I didn’t move, only thinking over the scenario of someone breaking into my apartment. “Jagi? (Y/n)? Love? Are you here?” I was so anxious that I didn’t hear my boyfriend’s voice calling out for me, I didn’t notice him until he came into my room and sat down in front of me. “Hanbin?” “(Y/n), love, are you okay? I was so worried about you because you haven’t answered my texts or calls all day,” “I’m so stressed Hanbin, I’ve been studying for weeks yet I know nothing. I’m gonna fail, I don’t know what to do Hanbin,” Hanbin moved closer to me and wiped away some of the tears that were falling down my cheeks, and then he enveloped me in a much-needed hug. “Darling, I know how hard you’ve been studying, I’m sure you know more than you think, this is just your anxiety making you doubt yourself. Have you eaten?” “I don’t know, I don’t think I have, I’ve been so focused that the entire day just feels like a blur,” “Okay, I’ll order us some food, you go sit on the bed or on the couch and rest a little, you shouldn’t fry your brain,” “But,” “No buts, trust me,” With the help of Hanbin I got off the floor and went to go sit on the couch, waiting for Hanbin to join me.
Once our food arrived we began eating and I realized just how hungry I was. “What’s the topic for the exam?” “It’s on [insert topic/subject],” “Oh, what can you tell me about it?” “Well,-” Without realizing it I began telling Hanbin so much information on the topic I could write a 50-page essay on it. “OH! WAIT, WHAT?!? I, I know the material?” “Of course you do, honey you’ve been studying for weeks,” “But, earlier I didn’t know anything,” “Your anxiety plays a trick on you, the second you stopped overthinking it you knew the material. What day is your exam?” “It’s on the [ınsert date],” “I don’t have a schedule that day, why don’t I drop you off and pick you up, imagine I’m right there with you like right now,” “Hanbin, you’re the best, I love you,” “That’s what a boyfriend is for. I love you too!” He gave me a kiss on the lips before he motioned toward the food, reminding me to eat some more. I’m really lucky to have such a nice and handsome boyfriend who would also drop everything just to help me study, or send his bestie Zhang Hao to help me seeing as Hao has a degree as a college teacher. But for me, the kindergarten teacher's charm works better. Sung Hanbin, the man you are.

(Y/n)’s POV
It was late at night and I was laying in my bed staring at the sealing. No matter what I did I couldn’t seem to fall asleep. I missed Chan too much, I hadn’t seen him for about 2 weeks, and we had barely been able to text each other because of our busy schedules. While I was deep inside my head thinking of my boyfriend a ding was heard from my phone on the bedside table. I turned around and looked at it, only to find a text from the very person I had just been thinking about. *Hey, are you still awake?* I opened my phone and responded with a yes. *Are you hungry?*, *Not really but I could eat something, what about you Chan?*, *Great, I’ll be outside of your apartment in 5 minutes,* *Chan, it’s 1.41 am. Won’t your company be angry that you’re out so late?*, *Nah, it’s okay. We have two days off now and if you let me, I intend to spend them with you. Starting now,* *Okay, let me just get dressed, I’ll meet you outside in a minute,* *Perfect! Love you*. I chuckled a little before rushing to get dressed in some sweatpants, one of Chan’s hoodies, and put on my sneakers before running out the door. “(Y/n)! Baby,” Chan ran up to me and gave me a hug the second I stepped outside the door. “I’ve missed you too Channie,” “I love you,” He leaned in and gave me a passionate kiss to which I responded with just as much passion. “Come on, let’s go!” “You’re way too eager for someone who’s awake at 1.46 am, where are we even going?” “I’m just happy because I get to see my wonderful (Y/n), and we’re going to buy a bunch of snacks and then go back to your place and watch movies!” “Is this just an excuse to get away from your hyungs?” “Nope, that’s just a bonus!” We both chuckled as we walked side by side with our hands interlocked, just happy to be together once again. It isn’t easy dating an idol, there are many times when we won’t see each other for a very long time, and it’s hard but we’ve made it this far so I think we’ll be fine. For others, something so mundane as this, going to a convenience store might not be special but to us, these are magical moments that allow us to just be (Y/n) and Chan, not Dino of Seventeen and his partner.
“Oh, we need these chips! Oh, and cup noodles, and-” “Chan, you’re buying too much,” He gave me a pout in return. “But (Y/n), if we buy everything now, then we won’t have to leave the apartment tomorrow and we can just be alone the entire day,” I walked up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. “Alright, I love you, you know that right?” “Yeah, I know. I love you too. But um, you missed, my lips are here, not here” He pointed to his lips and then to his cheek as he gave me a little smirk. I gave him a quick peck on the lips before I kept walking down the different aisles looking for snacks and things I wanted to buy. “Hey, wait for me,” Once we had filled our cart and Chan seemed satisfied with the amount of things we had chosen we walked over to check out. That night it was an older man who was working, he smiled at us as we walked up. “You two look happy, I miss that young love, it’s beautiful,” “Thank you, sir, yeah we’re very happy together,” Chan looked at me with glimmering eyes as he smiled shyly from the man’s compliment. “Take care now you two, have a good night. Be careful, it’s very late,” “Thank you, sir, we will, same to you, have a nice night,” And then we walked out, both of us caring 2 heavy bags each, Chan tried to take all four but I stole two of them to help him out. A few minutes later we were back outside my apartment, I unlocked the door and we walked in. After unloading everything, we took a few snacks with us and went into my bedroom.
“By the way, is that my hoodie that I asked if you had a couple of days ago to which you said no?” “Uh, no?” I just smiled innocently at him as I had been found out. I loved this particular hoodie of his, it’s so soft and warm, and mostly, I didn’t want to give it back because it still smelled like him. “It’s okay, I know why you wanted to keep it. I’ve missed you so much and if it makes you feel better then I have no problem with you stealing my clothes. Why don’t I leave the hoodie I’m wearing now here and take this one with me and next time I see you we switch them again, that way you will have a hoodie of mine that still smells like me,” “That sounds like a perfect plan,” “Okay, let’s lay down now and choose a movie,” We got comfortable in bed and cuddled up to each other as we picked out a movie. For a while we just lay there in each other’s arms, watching the movie and wishing for the clock to stop so that this moment would last forever. “I missed being with you like this. Just the two of us, doing nothing at all except enjoying the other’s presence,” “I missed this too. Hey, Chan, you remember the job I applied for a while ago?” “Mm, yeah?” “I got it, I found out yesterday and I was gonna call you today to tell you,” “This means we won’t have to be away from each other as much, you really got it?” “Yeah, from Monday, I’m officially working with the Seventeen,” “I love you so so so much,” Chan gave me yet another passionate kiss, we might have our hardships but that’s fine because we only need each other, the mundane things are as I said before, magical to us. For example, laying in bed at 2.43 am and watching a movie while cuddling is way better than going to some high-end restaurant.
