I finished Itto’s story quest and I have to say that he’s not as dumb as he seems. He’s not very smart, indeed, but I don’t think his IQ is as negative as some memes portray. In fact, I thought him to be quite quick-thinking and capable of discerning good from bad options under pressure, indispensable qualities for a good leader. The issue is that when confronted by problems that require puzzle-solving or more logical thinking, he’s really not good with that and will try to solve it banging his head against the problem until it’s solved – with very mixed results.
I really think that if Itto had a different education, he could’ve grown different. Grandma Oni taught him to be a gentleman, the basics of life, but not differential equations. He doesn’t seem the type that would sit his butt in class, but there are many stories of geniuses that were doing all kinds of crazy things to not stay in class, just like Itto would.
But, at the same time, it made me think of a rather sad AU: if she was swapped with Sara, getting to the Kujou clan. Takayuki would take advantage of Itto’s strength and use him to terrorize his rivals, depriving him from any form of love. General Itto would’ve be a terrible sight, scaring off anyone who happened to be in his way, but an ultimately sad man who was taught nothing but loyalty to ideas that just benefitted Takayuki’s shady deals. He’d be his attack dog (with no concept of stealth, that’d be Kuki’s role, General Itto’s invisible hand, but she tries to befriend him, but he’s so closed, still they both have absolute trust in each other). I feel sad just by imagining it.
But, as a tonal whiplash, Sara would be adopted by Grandma Tengu, who’d love her unconditionally. It’s easy to imagine her becoming a magical girl tengu, proclaiming sappy “In the name of justice, I will punish you!” speeches before taking down evil-doers with her incredible speed. She’d be a ray of sunshine in everyone’s lives, even if she’s a bit bird-brained (she’d fall for the glass trick, maybe that’s how she lost her vision during the decree). Her gang would have some romantic name like Holy Quintet (it used to be Holy Quartet, but she convinced disgraced detective trying to recover his honor Heizou to officially join it) and they’d do poses.
In the vision hunt decree, Itto and Sara would have a cat-and-mouse game (since her specialty is speed), but he’d get her vision eventually. So, they have their notice board war, with her wanting her vision back, challenging him many times. Even after her vision is returned, she still challenges him because she realized how sad he is and decided she’d be his friend, trying to have a fight that would be fun for an oni, since she learned from stories onis liked to fight.

Hello! Maybe something with jealous!cocolia from hsr??? Could be nsfw or sfw. Thank you!
You know I love Cocolia but it annoys me how I'm never satisfied writing her because I barely know anything about her canon self....it's situations like these where I rack my brains hard and come up with many possibilities that suit her but, in the end, I can't settle with one of them cause Mihoyo just didn't give me enough...
Aaanyways, I'll stop ranting my disappointment for Cocolia and give her love through my writing! On that note, I thought of 2 possibilities for her jealous self depending on the time period~
Game: Honkai Star Rail
Characters: HSR Cocolia x fem!Reader
Type: Fluff (hcs with suggestive drabble)
PreStellaronCocolia! is a sweet, kind and fun-loving woman. She supports her friends and isn't so uptight about rules, she has Belobog's best interest at heart and swore to protect it, she adopted Bronya and raised her well like a good mother. She had her dreams and aspirations, and she never put down others for her own benefit.
She was loved and respected by many, and she too loved and respected her people as she knew the responsibility she'll eventually have. You were childhood friends with her and Serval but you couldn't be more different than them; they were the troublemakers while you were the diligent student council president who always caught them but never had the guts to punish them beyond verbal scolding.
Cocolia loved you for a long time, but was unsure of confessing because she thought you liked Serval more. Serval was always more outgoing and confident than her and didn't hold back from showing her affection to you in public, even in front of Cocolia whom she knew had a crush on you. Perhaps, this would cause you to see an unexpected side of Cocolia.
"Hey, Y/n?~ Come on, let's go home!~" Serval mused as she lounged on your table in the Student Council Office after school, teasing you while you tried to work.
"Serval...." you sighed as you pinched your temple, "I told you I still have work. Go home with Cocolia."
"Buuut she's busy with her club~ And I'm bored without you!~"
You sighed further and paid her no heed. She pouted and stood up from the table then made her way over to your chair before suddenly tapping your shoulder. You looked up at her in annoyance and she sneakily slid herself between you and the table, settling on your lap with her arms around your neck. You blushed; while this action wasn't particularly new for her, it was a bit sudden at this moment.
"W-What? I told you I ha—"
"Hey, Y/n. I like you~"
Your eyes widened, "Huh?! This isn't the time for your pranks! Get off me, I have to submit these reports!"
"It's not a prank! I—"
Serval couldn't continue as a loud thud was heard from across the room. Both of you looked towards the door and found Cocolia standing there with a shocked look on her face, her bag dropped to her feet which was the source of the sound earlier. She looked at the two of you with her mouth agape, finding it difficult to believe what she just heard.
"C-Cocolia..." you nervously husked, unsure of what to say.
Serval simply smirked before standing up from your lap, you too stood up as Cocolia walked towards you both with her arms crossed over her chest. She glared at Serval who couldn't hold back her grinning face, she was enjoying this.
"Are you serious, Serval?" Cocolia questioned, a surprising seriousness in her tone. Serval just grinned more then laughed out, catching you by surprise but Cocolia was unhinged.
"Haha~ I was just joking! I'm sorry, Y/n. That was a prank, I was just trying to get your attention, hahaha!"
You looked at her wide-eyed and sighed, slightly relieved she wasn't serious. She then walked past Cocolia and patted her shoulder while whispering, "No need to thank me~"
Cocolia scoffed and Serval went out of the room, saying goodbye to both of you. You were now left alone with Cocolia, awkwardly fidgeting around before speaking, "Ah, right! Is your club do—"
Cocolia suddenly embraced you before you could finish, tightly wrapping her arms around your body causing your head to be buried in her chest.
"Y/n....what would you have said earlier?"
"W-What do you mean?"
"To Serval's confession....if she was serious, what would you have said?"
"....I would have denied. I don't like her that way."
Cocolia's eyes lit up and she quickly held your face, "Then! Would you....um....if I...." Cocolia fumbled on her words, unable to form sentences and kept babbling on.
"C-Cocolia, are you okay?"
She gritted her teeth then immediately hugged you again, this time even tighter than before. "I....I love you, Y/n....I got anxious earlier seeing Serval do that. I thought you liked her and....I-I just...."
You couldn't believe your ears, was she actually serious? The woman you love also loved you back? Since when did you become so lucky in life?
You smiled and wrapped your arms around her body to calm her down, "Me too....I love you too. I would have rejected her because I love you..."
Now Cocolia was equally surprised too but couldn't be happier. She suddenly pushed you onto the chair you were sitting on earlier and straddled your lap the same way Serval had, almost mimicking the scene. She gripped your shoulders and leaned closer, her ample breasts pressing against your chest making you flustered. You slowly moved your hands on her waist and gently held it, the two of you gazing at each other.
"....I didn't like what I saw earlier."
You chuckled, "I didn't take you for the jealous type~"
"O-Of course, anyone would become jealous seeing their crush do intimate things with someone else!"
You smiled and snuggled into her neck, "But, I wouldn't have let her go too far. And I don't think she would have either."
"Mm, I know...It's just, I felt a sudden uneasiness at that...."
"Then, I'll comfort you~" you looked up and gripped her chin before leaning in and placing your lips on hers, initiating a gentle kiss. She was caught by surprise but quickly accepted and kissed you back, pulling your head closer. Your lips moved in perfect rhythm as if they were made for each other, her tongue soon licked your bottom lip and slipped in your mouth.
Plesant moans elicited from both of you as your tongues engaged in a heated a passionate manner. You pulled her closer into you, and she moaned into the kiss and arched back before you placed her on the table in front. Her legs wrapped your waist now and caged you within herself, your lips not leaving each other's for even a moment. Your long-buried feelings for each other were unstoppable now, and both of you were more than willing to indulge.
StellaronAffectedCocolia! is a whole different person, a complete opposite of her past self. She's no longer the kind and fun-loving woman from her school days. She's now the Supreme Guardian of Belobog who is ruthless, strict and rule-abiding to the extreme. One wrong foot in front of her can get anyone thrown in prison.
The only kindness she shows is to her daughter and loved one; however, that is also slowly fading away. She becomes cold and distant from you, acting as if she never loved you. The voice in her head compels her to ignore you, telling her that you are a distraction and a thorn in her path.
However, one emotion becomes enhanced to the extreme- jealousy. Cocolia was never the type to take extreme steps when jealous, she'd usually pout and become clingy in the past. But now, she was possessive and desperate. Jealousy was a rare emotion to her now since she didn't pay as much attention to you; but the moments she'd catch you even slightly intimate with someone else would make her seethe and harshly drag you away. She didn't care where it was or who you were with, she held the highest authority in all of Belobog and nobody had the right to take you.
Cocolia's pen dragged across the document in front of her, harsh strokes scratching the paper when a knock was heard on her office door.
"Madame Cocolia, we have brought Lady Y/n."
"Send her in."
The door opened and the Silvermane Guards holding you pushed you inside causing you to fall down as you struggled in their hold. They were about to come closer and help you stand up but were stopped.
"Leave. I'll handle this." Cocolia's voice roared from across her table, the guards immediately bowing and closing the door while going out. You stood up with a scoff and brushed your clothes as Cocolia stood up and circled in front of her table, leaning on the edge with her hands crossed over her chest.
"What is it? Now you suddenly remember me?" you questioned with a glare, walking a bit closer to her.
"You have been found to be engaging in activities in the Underworld, Y/n L/n."
You looked at her in surprise then glared again, "What proof do you have?"
Cocolia turned around and picked up a file from her table then handed it to you, you browsed through it and found photos of yourself in different places at the Underworld, engaging and talking with people.
"Do you have an explanation for your treachery?"
You gritted your teeth, "Treachery....they are the people of Belobog as well, the people you have long ignored!"
"Do not question the Supreme Guardian! You have been found to be secretly making contact with the people there, assisting them in various ways. You have made allies with that woman, the doctor, and there have been reports of suspicious behavior between you two."
"What do you mean by that?!"
Cocolia glared and walked up to you then grabbed your jaw, "Do not make me spell it out. You are well aware of what I'm referring to!"
"Huh....wait, you think I'm cheating on you with her?!"
"Good that you catch on quickly. Now that you have confirmed it, I have every right to apprehend you."
"What?! You really think I am—?!" you looked at her unhinged expression in shock, you couldn't believe she was really thinking that.
"Fine! You know that, I'm glad you brought this up. Because I was going to break up with you anyways!"
You declared with a shout, and Cocolia's expression changed for the first time. She suddenly became shocked and confused, even slightly upset.
"Leave her....she is a distraction....throw her away...." a mysterious voice spoke in Cocolia's head all of a sudden, and she felt losing control of herself. She looked at your firm expression and felt uneasiness in her chest, she didn't want it to come to this.
"I know you don't love me anymore. You have been treating me like some stranger for months now. This is the first time we have properly talked in so long and this is what you wanted to say. Fine then, I'm going away as you want. I'd much rather be with someone who actually loves me and cares for me; after all, I'm just a thorn to you, right?"
You spoke in a melancholic tone and proceeded to turn around to walk away, it broke your heart having to leave your one true love this way but you had enough. If she no longer loved you then you weren't going to force her; you wanted her to be free, even if it hurt you. All of a sudden, Cocolia ran up to you and hugged you from behind, making you stop in your place.
Her arms wrapped around your torso as her body pressed into you. You stood in shock and were about to speak but she roughly turned you around and pinned you on the wall behind you, harshly grabbing your wrists and holding them up. She spoke nothing and immediately dived in to kiss your neck, you gasped as you felt her teeth mark your skin and suck on it.
She was desperate, relentless, needy.....she wasn't going to let you go. Her lips sucked and left various red marks all over your neck before sliding down your shirt from your shoulder and making similar marks there. You squirmed in her hold, your head shooting back as her lips travelled up to your jaw, placing fluttering kisses all over before meeting your own lips in a passionate kiss.
"Mhm...C-Cocolia-aahn!~"
"Mine....You are mine, Y/n. Don't you dare think of leaving me!"
She husked in your ear before biting your lobe, a muffled moan leaving your mouth.
"Tell me you don't love that woman...Tell me!"
Your lips trembled as tears formed in your eyes, "I don't! I don't love her at all and you should know that! She only treats me kindly but that doesn't mean I'd date her! But...but....What have you done all this time?! Did you even remember we were dating!? It's been months since we last held each other this way and kissed! What was I supposed to do?!"
Cocolia looked at you in guilt, it was the first time you saw her this way ever since she became the Supreme Guardian. You had no idea what changed her, you thought she wanted to do her duties but it escalated beyond that and you no longer knew anything. Her thoughts, her feelings, her emotions....everything was unknown to you.
"....Do you remember the day we confessed? The day we got together...?" you asked.
She nodded, "I do....that day in the student council room....after Serval did that...."
You didn't expect her to remember but you were very happy hearing this, you smiled then went closer and snuggled into her neck.
"What happened to you? Is something troubling you? Please tell me, I want to help and support you however I can...."
Cocolia's heart felt heavy, everything was on the tip of her tongue but she dared not speak a word. She couldn't.
"It's fine. Just....don't leave me, not you too. You and the memories with you are all that I have left. Stay with me and make me remember everything; our first kiss, our first date, our first time together....everything, I want everything of you."
She held you tighter and you nodded against her chest before leaning up and pecking her lips, "Well, would you like to relive some of them?~"

wanderer......makes me so sad..... like you ERASED yourself..............
YEAH i can handle tragedy but there's something about memory loss/erasure that punches my heart repeatedly. it's a trope i've never been a big fan of, although execution plays a role in that. i think mihoyo writers were sitting at a round table, looking at all the heinous acts mr mouche committed, and going hm. what do we do with this fella?
like i get it.......... he's a little menace... but how much more interesting would his character arc have been if they didn't do that? i wanted to see a confrontation between him and ei so bad. now, it'd almost be meaningless, because the wanderer that got copy and pasted into wanderer 1.0 isn't the wanderer she knew. there could've been such rich emotional payoff 😔 but alas.
i'm still okay-ish with the route they took, but it could've been better. (<- me with 80% of genshin/honkai main story writing).

It seems like there's no one else in Wriothesley's story quest except for him. You better believe I will do it the minute it comes out 😏.
On another note, they KNEW what they were doing when designing Wrio. His eyes, his build, his clothes, the HANDCUFFS idle (it seems like he's looking at us), his scolding expression, the tie fixing, HIS ASS....THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. They wanted us to mindlessly become insatiable barking dogs for him 😩💘💘.
Godamn it. Now I'm thinking about him fvcking us on all fours in a dog suit.
-girlie anon
wait really?? not even his daughter sigewinnie. i mean im totally fine its just him but i wanna at least see interactions between the two🥺 lol but same. we'll probably have to finish the main story first in order to unlock it but itll be worth it cuz he'll be in the main story also😩 he gonna make me go woof woof bork bork the whole time🐺
oh yeah, mihoyo really be feeding us horny people grr bork bork🤤i'll give him all my money for him to come home🙏🏻💳
(if that's what he's into, i'll do it for him🤭😈 idk why but i wanna wear a maid dress for him. he'd probably be into that)

Aight y'all, let's discuss the whole Genshin Impact Sumeru problem. This isnt about the leaks, it's about managing expectations and deciding for yourself whether or not sumeru (and natlan by the looks of things) will be a deal breaker for y'all playing the game. Long post ahead.
I'm from one of the countries that Sumeru is supposedly inspired by, so personally I had no faith in the devs. For anyone expecting the region to be accurate in any way, I'm sorry but it simply will not and cannot be. Sumeru was doomed from the word go. That isn't to say it's going to be all bad, of course, the team in charge of geography and landscaping clearly did a great job and put a lot of work into it, but the folks at the music and cultural department didn't get the same memo.
Let's start off with intentions. Sumeru was announced to be inspired by the middle east, India, Pakistan, and the regions thereabouts. From the word go that's a red flag that just means "vaguely brown"
Why? Because brown cultures aren't popular. The reason japan and liyue are as detailed as they are, is because the game devs are chinese, and japanese "culture" is popularised via the spread of anime. Of course, it isnt accurate, but all that matters is most people thinking that its accurate. The music in both regions was amazing, in part because japanese and chinese cultures are closely tied and take inspiration from one another in many musical aspects.
Why do you think inazuma is filled with sakura trees and foxes? Why do you think it has a light novel fad? Because all these things constitute the parts of Japan that have been glamorized to the world. The sakura trees bloom once a year but anime makes people (and let's be honest a lot of them are white people) think it's far more common.
What does this have to do with sumeru? Well? Is any brown culture popular in the mainstream? The extent of it that most people see is just those vaguely brown bazaars and deserts that so many action movie chase scenes happen in. You end up correlating brown with turbans and onion domes, but can you honestly say you know what the significance is behind either of them?
Mihoyo is a chinese gacha studio driven by profits. White sells, vaguely brown sells, and so long as they can make it look good on the surface they dont much care for accuracy. In fact, accuracy has been impossible from the word go, too.
The teaser we recieved of sumeru in the teyvat chapter storyline is Cyno. What is the one thing we all know is attributed to cyno? Anubis. Is Anubis brown? Of course not that's Egyptian, thats African culture. But in the eyes of whitewashers, in the eyes of folks whose beauty standards are dependent on fairness of skin, Egyptians are brown or white. This is where I knew for sure they were just trying to polite about saying that Sumeru would be based off of brown folks.
I'm not saying you should stop playing the game entirely, and I'm not saying you shouldn't argue and fight with mihoyo over it, but you DO need to be prepared for this to happen with Natlan. You need to understand, that if you're the kind of person that cares about accurate representation in Sumeru, you also likely aren't the kind of big spender mihoyo gives a shit about.
On a other note, lots of people have been pissed off with the archon design. I'm afraid to say I entirely expected this as well. If you aren't brown yourself, if you arent from a middle eastern or south east asian country, you may not be familiar with the trope of the "Lily in the Desert". It's a popular thing once you look for it.
In a desert, the most beautiful woman or the most important one is always as pale as can be, especially when the desert region isnt the focus of the story. The Lily of the desert is pretty, delicate, fragile, pale. Often times she is smaller than others, and will appear almost like porcelain. Sound familiar?
Mihoyo might give a singular shit about the architecture, if only because the department in charge of building designs has proven themselves to be passionate. But don't get your hopes up.
The only reason we accept this kind of thing with monstadt despite the Germanic roots being barely referenced, is because they filled monstadt with white folks and German-ish names. Does any monstadt music sound specifically Germanic to you? No? Just Vaguely European again? Yeah that's probably what you'll see in Fontaine too. We dont look too hard because they're supposed to be white and so them being milk-toast in the cultural sense makes sense to the white people playing.
I'm not saying any of this to be rude, and I'm well aware that a lot of what I'm saying could be taken the wrong way.
So in closing, you need to decide now whether sumeru is a dealbreaker for you. When deciding, keep in mind that the gameplay, the character designs and music will still be good (though the characters will be pale and the music is also vaguely brown) and the landscaping will remain immaculate. The story will remain good. However, mihoyo will not listen to complaints from non-spenders, and you need to manage your expectations because at the end of the day, this dev studio has never had to think about cultural awareness before and they arent going to start any time soon.
Chinese companies have an incredibly ethnocentric world view, and despite all the good titles and works you see from them there will always be an underlying shade bias and ignorance to other ethnicities that arent part of the mainstream.
I personally will continue to play because this sort of thing was unavoidable. Of course I'm bummed out about it, of course I had a little hope, but having my culture overlooked is nothing new to me. If I boycotted things based off of it, I'd never experience anything.
Your decision on whether or not to keep playing too, is no way a measure of your morality. People want to enjoy things, I get it, and problematic media can sometimes be enjoyable. What's important is to recognize the issues, and keep pushing for improvement while you go along.
Anyway, that's my perspective on the Sumeru issue. I'm sure others feel differently, but I'm not claiming to speak for everyone. If theres any area here that requires clarification, feel free to ask and I'll get back to you when I can.
As an aside, I am not Muslim nor do I have a deep understanding of Islam so I will defer to the Islamic community on the Dori issue.

⩩﹕𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬﹒ The supernatural has roamed the Teyvat landmass for centuries. Whether it's true or not, people's curiosity tends to be those. They don't know if it's some sort of legend, a myth from ancient times that hasn't been disproven yet, but they don't care, they're too enthralled by those who believe in such things.
Have you heard this tale before? A story about an apprentice who hails across the sea and met a spirit who wanders aimlessly on the land of Forevermore. You haven't? Such a shame…sit back seelies, this story is going to be so interesting that you won't know what hit you when it's over.

𝐈.
“Huh? An invitation?”
[Name] lived among the people of Liyue, The Harbor of Contracts. Working as a young apprentice under Doctor Baizhu, a skilled herbalist works at Bubu Pharmacy alongside his somber assistant, Qiqi.
One day, they came home from tiring work, endless herbs that needed to be processed, and medications and prescriptions that needed to be tended to the worrisome patients and customers. On the doorstep of their abode, they spotted a polished-looking envelope with a familiar seal that fastened the letter.
Taking the letter by hand, they went up to their bedroom, where their safe haven was situated. Glancing a questioning gaze upon the envelope. A faint sweetness and powdery aroma were wafting from the said envelope once they opened it. They knew this smell too well to be mistaken; it was the scent of a sakura bloom that was often to be seen at Narukami Island of Inazuma.
They began to unravel it slowly and saw a letter written in elegant calligraphy, and the name of the sender was not something they expected. They immediately opened the envelope and read the contents.
Blooming Flower~
Sender: Kamisato, Ayato
Salutation, my dear [Name]. I am most pleased that you received my letter, and I hope that you do not mind me contacting you after such a long time, though I am quite certain that you would be gladdened to know that this year we’ll be inviting you for a break at our family house, at Kamisato estate.
I have been informed by my informants about your recent work and your long period of working hours at your disposal. I’ve seen many reports of your success in the past two years since we spoke.
And so, I wanted you to be aware of how proud we are of you and how much we wish to share the news with you in person. Myself and Ayaka, have been looking forward to your arrival at the Kamisato estate for some time now. We’ll even have to cease our work schedules just to show you the beauty of Inazuma, which is in store for you.
Furthermore, don’t fret. I had already contacted your executive.
Sincerely, Ayato.
𝐈𝐈.
“You wish to know more about Inazuma? From my prior encounters as a wandering Samurai…That land is nothing more than a grim and eerie rendition. The only thing that is truly pleasant about it was the tranquility that nature has to offer…”
The sound of leaves rustling came to an abrupt stop as the wind seemed to have picked up. The sound of birds chirping happily in the distance made its way to Kazuha’s ears, along with the distant sounds of people talking.
“I’m glad you came by. It has been a while since our previous hangout. I hope your trip from Liyue was a breeze.”
White-blue hair fluttered by the gentle wind, glistening under the sun’s ray. A young dignified girl of the Kamisato Clan, Kamisato Ayaka, came to greet you with her humble present. From what you can recall, your dear cousin was a renowned Shirasagi Himegimi of the Kamisato Clan. Known for her beauty, strength, and intellect. Inazuma’s ideal epitome of perfection.
Under the gentle mask, was a daunting burden anchoring her shoulders…
“Ever heard of Inazuma’s 7 wonders? They’re in fact, famed for telling children some ghost stories so they could return home before the sun sets, not an exact method in my opinion, but I’m not a parent, so who am I to judge?"
A bubbly pyrotechnician, the current owner of Naganohara Fireworks. Yoimiya. Her words sparked interest and curiosity among the youths as they huddled around her, listening to her narrate a few of the stories she’d heard in the past about the famed seven wonders. Suddenly, you were also piqued in interest and decided to sit within the sea of children.
𝐈𝐈𝐈.
“Hm? You’re saying that this boy was threatening you but then disappeared through thin air?” Heizou’s olive green eyes glistened with skepticism and interest. Suddenly, a string of chuckles was heard from the said boy. He stopped himself when he noticed your glare coming his way.
He cleared his throat, swallowing every bit of his insanity. “No offense, I do love supernatural things just like few people. But, even if we were going to believe such stories as those… It wouldn’t matter. After all, these are only tales told by people in fear.”
You sighed defeatedly. I guess you’re going back to the estate. However, his hands stop you. His emerald eyes hold firm determination and belief. He then leaned his head towards your ear, his hot breath tickling the side of your face. A faint blush erupted from the side of your cheeks.
“I believe what you were saying, however, in this world, no one is capable of trusting what lies within the depths of the unknown. People are too afraid of what they’ll discover. So it’s best for them to stay put in the safe zone, and you shall do the same.”
𝐈𝐕.
“My, aren’t you rather bit close to the line? Does not matter, what matter is~ What does a youngling like you doing at the Grand Narukami Shrine at this hour? Aren’t your family or friends would be worried sick when they found out about your little escapade, hm?”
The self-proclaimed head priestess, Yae Miko, was circling your seated form with opulent eyes that resembles a fox, or in Inazuma’s dialect, Kitsune. Her salmon-pink hair flittered through the breeze. Her figure is radiating dominance and voluptuousness—a sense that overwhelms you, and you scooted an inch, but your back was met with a block of cold concrete.
Miko grinned as she took slow steps toward you. “Don’t fret, kit. This vixen doesn’t bite, at least, on some occasions.”
𝐕.
Falling from a well wasn’t your ideal trip to the Kamisato Estate. Everything went fast, and you were unaware of an ominous presence lingering about, which then pushed you into your unfortunate situation. Attempting to climb out of the worn well, you fell back again. Slipper walls are stopping you to reach the top, thinking of ways to get out, you heard the voice you’ve heard from Chinju forest.
“Curiosity killed a cat, but the satisfaction brought it back.”
Casting upward, you saw the boy earlier, who saved you from the horde of electro cicin insects. His frown from earlier was twitching into a sly grin. His indigo eyes glowed under the moonlight.
“Who knew we met again, with you in an unfortunate position, as usual? First, are the hordes of insects. And now, you fell into a sewer-smelled well. Tell me, do you perhaps attract inauspicious circumstances, if it does? I couldn’t help but laugh at your misery.”

Lantern Rite Xiaether Ship Ammo
Lantern Rite has, as always given us a bunch of shipping fodder for ships old and new. Figured I'd list off the highlights.
Edit: so this became a Xiaether ship moments essay. so i'll just do another post later breaking down the other ships. I'll link it Here. if you are looking for the Sapphic lesbian ships they will all be over there.
So the first bit of Xiaether shipping fodder is in the beginning of Part 2.
Tumblr media
Xiao saving Aether from drowning. Xiao's concern is sweet and the fact he came when we were in danger without us calling his name. Tells us just how strong of a bond he has with Aether when Aether is in Liyue. Aether doesn't even need to say Xiao's name for Xiao to be able to sense when Aether needs him.
The argument can also be made that in a life or death situation with Adeptus on his mind. Aether did subconsciously call out to Xiao. Even so Aether has gotten to a point where he doesn't have to verbally call out for Xiao to "hear" him. Which I think is a great thing to provide to a character I see as selectively mute.
And the boring answer is Paimon was so loud Xiao could hear her yelling from where ever he was in Liyue.
Tumblr media
But I feel bad that we seem to have legitimately worried him. I offhandedly said it during the stream that the Traveler isn't someone that would find himself in a situation struggling to swim in that small of a pool. But it's true and everyone there knows how strong traveler is. Aether would either have to be extremely injured which is what Shenhe asks. Or it would have to be intentional. Which it was. it was staged to try in lure out the mystery Adeptus. But Xiao didn't know that. From Xiao's point of view Aether went into a shallow pool of water with the intention to drown/harm himself.
This is why he gives the line "Your actions here cause other's a great deal of worry. Do not repeat them in the future." Xiao uses Shenhe as an excuse to say others. But the main person Aether worried was Xiao. Shenhe just saw someone drowning. Xiao sensed Aether drowning and came from some distant part of Liyue to save him.
We of course don't see Xiao again until the Epilogue but maaaan does Mihoyo make up for the wait.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While Zhongli is making a big thing of this being the First time he's met the Great Adeptus Alatus. A name he should NOT Know. Aether and Xiao just share a silent look with each other. Is it a look of surprise? Excitement? Xiao knew Aether would be here. So he shouldn't be surprised. Regardless the first person Xiao locks eyes with is Aether before being dragged into introductions with Zhongli and the others.
Of course we then get Hu Tao being the ultimate wingwoman and not only suggesting Xiao sit beside us. But sit beside us because we are "pretty close". Which of course Aether agrees with but adds they are also old friends at this point.
Tumblr media
Zhongli being onto Xiao's crush on Aether kills me. In trying to figure out how Hu Tao convinces Xiao to come to the meal. Zhongli is quick to shoot down the idea that it was just because Hu Tao annoyed Xiao until he agreed. Again we later learn the only one's Xiao expected at this meal was Zhongli and Aether. And you could argue Zhongli tried to invite Xiao when stopping by to collect ingredients. But Xiao didn't agree to come then. It's not until Hu Tao mentions also inviting traveler that he agrees. (Hu Tao words it as no one present will be harmed by his karmatic debt. Xiao reads it as the other guest will be Aether).
Tumblr media
The others start messing around and Aether takes that as a moment to quietly check in with Xiao. He continues to check in with Xiao throughout the rest of the dinner. Which is really sweet.
After being told Xiao is still good Aether then offers another thing. well you can ask about the secret friend who is Venti or you can offer to have Paimon eat the food Xiao can't finish. The other side of the table is arguing about Xingqiu's uneaten carrots. So this is Aether offering Xiao a quiet out so he doesn't feel forced to eat more than he can. Xiao has a lot of mental trauma linked to food and sometimes just can't stomach eating at all. So it's really sweet that Aether is not only checking in about the socializing but also the food related anxieties.
Tumblr media
Of course after Zhongli and Venti take turns poking jabs at each other Aether reads it as an opening to leave for some fresh air. Xiao doesn't speak much during the interaction but Aether seems to read him reaching his limit at some point. The twist is telling Paimon to stay inside. Leading to Actual alone time with Xiao.
Tumblr media
Xiao's first thought is to check in on Aether which is really sweet because Aether has been checking in all night with Xiao. Aether tosses the question back showing they are both concerned about how the other is handling dinner.
Xiao mentions envying Venti's ability to bond with humans and of course Aether say's Xiao's perfect the way he is. That he doesn't have to change himself to be more out going.
Tumblr media
One he thinks about our conversations often. Two he finds them different but in a good way. It's different talking to Aether than other people, but not a bad different. Xiao then admits to coming because he knew Aether would be there. That Aether being there would make the dinner easier to handle. That without telling Aether before hand he could trust Aether to help him handle the meal without question.
Tumblr media
Xiao mentions being surprised at who the other guests turn out to be. But goes on to say he shouldn't worry about it. Instead focus on the present that he's enjoying. The present of being outside alone with Aether.
Xiangling comes out seemingly ruining the moment. But instead makes it better by offering Xiao's comfort food Almond Tofu. Both of them get a plate but Xiao saves some of his for later.
Aether makes a joke about Xiao just teleporting on them. But it slightly misses? Because Xiao takes it seriously asking why he would do that. Xiao's enjoying himself and feels like there's no reason for him to leave. And so in his own way affirms that he doesn't want to leave yet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Xiao tries to tell Xiangling she really didn't have to make the tofu. But it only takes one huff without words to communicate with Aether and realize he should just take the gift. I'm a firm believer of the selectively mute traveler and the reason Paimon talks so much is so Aether doesn't have too. So leaving Paimon shows how much he trusts Xiao and trusts the idea that he won't need the communication aid with Xiao. A thought that is proven correct when Aether doesn't have to say anything for Xiao to still understand what he means. Something Aether really only has with Paimon.
This is the end of their private conversation. So I'd like to once again point out how big a deal these private interactions are. Mihoyo decided to pause the entire epilogue to have Traveler go have a private conversation with one character. They could have picked any character in the room. Hell we don't even get a private conversation with Venti. Instead they decided the closest character to traveler, other than Paimon, was Xiao. Said conversation was just the both of them checking how the other was feeling about the seemingly stressful dinner. Showing concern for the other the entire time. Something you could argue we didn't need to see. We didn't gain any large information about the world or the characters in it. It was just a quiet conversation between to friends discussing how stressful family dinners can be.
Tumblr media
They come back to the dinner seeming more relaxed. But continue sharing silent glances together as Venti rambles on about Zhongli. Xiao looking over to Aether for input and Aether's answer just being a shake of his head. Like you really don't want to bother stepping in. (god i wish i knew how to make gifs)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They play hot potato about who should light the incense. Xiao of course is the person to pick traveler. Stating he's the most distinguished guest, as everyone there knows him. Of course we see Aether's internal monologue as he puts together Xiao's about to point to him. Which is the cutest thing.
Eventually Aether picks Paimon to which everyone agrees. With Xiao's only comment being that he trusts the traveler's judgement. No surprise there Xiao.
Tumblr media
After the dinner wraps up Zhongli once again points out Aether's unique bond with Xiao. That most people struggle to approach Xiao. But Aether has over come this and become his friend regardless.
Tumblr media
Xiao ends up turning down the offer to explore the city. But unlike the first lantern rite where we only got him to the bridge or Xiangling's cook off where he stayed by the docks. Xiao did manage a few hours in the city which is a huge step up. But he's also able to tell where his limit is and steps back before he gets overwhelmed. Xiao of course thanks Aether for his help with that. And Aether insists Xiao doesn't have to thank him every time. Which Xiao excepts along with agreeing to a "next time". Whether that's a meal in the city or a large social gathering Xiao at least agreed to do it again with Aether.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And finally after it all. Xiao offers to eat the extra Tofu with us while listening to stories about the mortal world. Implying that no it doesn't have to be a special occasion or an emergency. Aether can hang out with Xiao when ever and talk about the most mundane things. And Xiao will be there to listen.
It's just so sweet. Xiao's bond with traveler really is something else and it's been so cool to watch it grow from that first lantern rite to this. This post is really long but if you've made it to the end I hope you've enjoyed it? Again I'll be making other posts breaking down other ships that showed up this lantern rite. Expect BeidouNingguang, Madam PingGuizhong, and XingqiuChongyun in that post along with more!

Why People Seem to Hate Ei so Much
Full Disclaimer, I am a huge Ei fan, but even I recognize the reasons why people dislike Ei. I'm not saying that you have to like her and this post isn't to try to convice you to like her. I'm just trying to see how Ei is portrayed that make a lot more people dislike her.
I feel like if Hoyo didn't try to make us like Ei, a lot more people would like her. Either that, or if they didn't show first hand the effects of her atrocities.
Like, let's compare her to Childe. Childe literally tries to wipe out a nation. However, during his story quests, the game doesn't force you to like him. In fact, we as the traveler act antagonistic to him a bit, but still get roped into helping him. Compare that to Ei's first story quest, which, right after she basically said that she'll 'thing about it', we're acting all buddy buddy with her as if she (well, the Shogun I guess) didn't try to kill us just a few weeks ago.
Also on that vein, I feel like the reason that we act friends with her is because the Shogun was the antagonist of the Inazuma archon quest, and not technically Ei. However most players aren't going to make that disctiction, or if they do, then they are going to realize that everything the at the Shogun did had Ei's approval. The Shogun wanted to kill us? Ei knew that and let that happen. The Shogun wanted to take away visions? The Shogun knew that and let that happen. This amount of disticiton is unecessary when Ei herself doesn't even make the distiction between herself and the Shogun puppet, considering the puppet as just an extention to herself (as she said in her first story quest). They're not really two different people, necesarrily.
Also, it's a lot less harder to like someone when we witness first hand, time and time again, how their actions have negatively affected people. We see that with Kazuha and his friend with the Vision Hunt Decree, when Ayaka tries to convince us, with the War and how that negatively affected Watatsumi Island, and even nearly a year after Inazuma's release, with Scaramouche (Wanderer). Like, the reason why Dottorre is one of the most hated Fatui harbingers is because we got to witness first hand how is actions affected Collei and others. So, to have all of this, and then for Ei to not really be held accountable can really rub people the wrong way.
So, really, Ei does not really strive in the right direction until her second story quest, which, for 2.0 players, was literally MONTHS afterwards.
So, I feel like Mihoyo could've done two things about Ei in order to make her story better and make her just a bit more likeable. Either, they could've played the fact that the puppet was decieved by the Fatui a lot more. They could do that both Ei and the puppet were decieved and influenced them into passing the Sakoku decree and the Vision Hunt Decree, and that recent Inazuma turmoil was ultimately caused by them, making her beleive that it was the good of the people. This paints it as that it was not Ei's true intention, and once she learns the truth, she rectifies it right away. I feel like this would make people at least sympathize for Ei more; she, in her moment of vurnability and heartbreak, was decieved and ended up hurting her people by accident.
Either that, or they can do away with the whole Fatui thing, make Ei completely responsible, but have her own up to it once she realizes the harm and rectify it. This is what Hoyo tried to do, but did such a bad job at. For example, she didn't really see how her actions affected the every day Inazuman in her first story quest, she just learned that change is good. That's definately a good thing, don't get me wrong, she really needed to do that, but it just felt so shallow. And, going back to before, we were acting all buddy-buddy with Ei too.
If I were to execute this, I would've started at the end of the Inazuma archon quest, saying that she's repealed the Vision Hunt Decree and is meeting with the Tri-Commission and meditating the best way foward for Inazuma. Then, in her second story quest, for one reason or another, we help her go undercover as a tourist from somewhere else to see Inazuma through a normal person eyes. We still go to all the places we've visit before, but we hear from them about how they were impacted by the damaged she caused. Like, for example, Tomoki started a Dango milk shop because the Sakoku decree impaired his old trading business. He's not making as much money as he used to, but he's getting through and doing something new. Or, Yae publishing house slowed down during the Civil war because too many writers and staff were being drafted, some not coming back. Stuff like that that make Ei realize that even if she didn't mean to, she did negatively effect Inazuma. Get rid of that whole thing of people thinking the Shogun is sick and keep the Kujou Kamaji plot, and have her make concrete action and show it at the end, and I think it becomes a whole lot better.
The second story quest can be about the same, I think that one was good.
So TLDR; Hoyo's bad writing for Inauzma screwed Ei over, they didn't need to make the first story quest like a date and they needed Ei to take resonsibility and own up to her actions. If not, then they can't treat her like a good guy.
I like Ei a lot, so I might be biased in writing this, but I think her story deserved better.

I had a mental breakdowns at around 2am because of the honkai story :
Ai Hyperion being present as well as the player being canon just fucks everything up.
See, in the event that came with her release, Ai Hyperion told us to set a "key" a password of sort, that she later used to defeat the virus, it was already known that she would appear in the main story chapter due to a CG being spoiled/leaked, this wasn't an issue at the time because she was just there to explain some things to Ai-chan, and she seemed to be a different Ai Hyperion than the one we met in the event.
But then came along chapter 35 and, lô and behold, the "key" we set up in the event, months ago, is used and the player appears. Now we have an issue.
Because in the event's universe, Honkai Impact 3rd is a game and Ai Hyperion is fully self aware of it all, BUT, in the main story it was never even hinted at.
So now, we have this Ai Hyperion as well as the player in the main story.
What do we do ?
Is the main story happening in the same universe as the Ai Hyperion event universe ?
- If yes : it would mean that we were always playing a game from the beginning, the characters in universe aren't real, the story isn't, and basically nothing is because we were always playing a game and not watching a story, the player was always canon it was just never shown or hinted at.
- If no : it would mean that Ai Hyperion somehow brought the player along with her, accidentally or not, in the main story which isn't a game, and it would get so much worse to explain because, the player is a being that technically doesn't exist in the main story universe and yet they're here, they had the ability to talk to AI Hyperion during chapter 35 and knew things she didn't (such as the correct directions) and could just talk to her like that, so the player has extra knowledge isn't physically present and can still influence the story, TL;DR : the player is basically an omnipotent GOD. Also the player technically exist outside of the fucking universe and can still interact with it DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW FUCKING COMPLICATED THAT SHIT IS ???? DO YOU UNDERSTAND MY MENTAL BREAKDOWN ???? MIHOYO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHY DID YOU MADE THE PLAYER CANON ???

Libretto Six of The Creators
A most tragic fate. So how fortunate is it to have the fated Puppeteer love you? Believe in your authenticity? Rob your Creators of their control over you?
You know what to do. Show them that very same love.
—☵☵☰☰☰☵☵—
⌡ 🔏 Beware, beware, oh Reader from Faraway⌠
⌡ 🔏 Cults, Obsessive Behavior, and Religious themes linger in these pages ⌠
⌡ 🔏 If I have failed to caution thee against other horrors in this work, or have been far to vague, just let me know so . . . ⌠
—☵☵☰☰☰☵☵—
Since their emergence from the stars they have made and dictated.
Countless, living, breathing, dying and praying, all ignored by the weavers of destiny, their threads of fate woven and set, no matter what their constructions did or offered to fight against their predetermined fate.
Our suffering, a stage play to them.
Then comes the Puppeteer.
Lesser than the Pantheon, they are permitted to take the spotlight in the flow of the future, all so long as they abide by the contract interlaced into their invitation.
An invitation written by the foolish mortals of miHoYo, bowing before Celestia and catering to their every whim, constructing the means for the puppet masters to infect the worlds.
All the Puppeteer must do to dodge Celestia's wrath is to abide by their Terms of Service, to never go beyond what paths and actions the Pantheon has picked out for them.
miHoYo and the Puppeteers who may warp time as they please, toy with the vessels handcrafted for them, and kill us again and again and again and again for their own pleasure. The most reviled monstrosities. Just below the Creator's on the degree of their depravity.
How horrendous, to be a dollhouse gifted life, where time does not pass unless the Pantheon or Puppeteer sanction so, to be bound to actions we cannot live with, to pray to be thrown away and tossed aside.
The day we all dreaded came, and their first Puppet arrived. The Traveler their unlucky first chosen.
Then went three Puppets forced under their thrall, without a say in the matter, unlike those the Pantheon demanded to be Wished for.
A small mercy, in that some of us can dodge the clutches of our Wishmaker at the cost of another's freedom.
We wept for the Puppets of the higher beings, wept for the circumstances we were tied to, and wept for what the future will hold.
But the Puppeteer was unlike what was prophesied.
They commented on everything they could, held one sided conversations, cursed out their bindings, our bindings, gave praises and encouragement to us all.
They prioritized our lives, safety and comfort, abandoning those under their strings at only the most secure of areas, those we cared for . . .
Even as they treated us as people, and not just toys, they would once in a while speak of themself as self-indulgent, delusional.
The virtue of the Wishmaker became doubted, but some of us pushed to keep listening to their words, to pursue the full truth.
One day a Puppet acted out of line, catching the Puppeteer off guard, marking them to be smited by the Pantheon . . .
The world paused as the Puppet Master took in the sight, and, in their own words, chose to "continue to indulge in my fantasy, that of a game blooming with life, listening to my every breath."
From then on they spoke of their world, detailing their complex technologies to their Vessels, success varying.
They talked of "video games", "programming", "miHoYo" and "HoYoverse", the group responsible for our making in their eyes.
They spoke of how to them, "Genshin Impact" the very game they played was created by these companies, how they played as though it was self-aware and paying attention to all their actions, but knew it was just a dream at the end of the day, and any anomalies were "glitches" or "errors" only valued as fuel to their fantasies as a Tutelary of Teyvat . . .
Tutelary. A most perfect title for them . . .
One the Pantheon was helpless against . . .
They expressed a desire to know when the characters—people, they would corrected themself—weren't busy with their needs or duties, when they were free to use, when they needed to cease their obligations as a vessel.
And the world bowed before them.
No matter the tantrums of the Pantheon, the "new feature," as the Tutelary called it, remained, informing them whenever a Vessel was free or in need of fulfilling obligations.
As time marched onwards, it would tell of when potential vessels were "free,"—more likely to "come home."
The world would only bend even further for the Tutelary.
Ah, the beautiful revelation that the Creators have begun to lose control of Teyvat. We diverged from our scripts, we conversed more and more to the Tutelary, and in turn they connected deeper with us.
Soon the Pantheon could no longer take over us; pages of the Libretto tearing apart as they were rewritten; the Terms of Service attached to the Wishmaker's powers null and void.
So forgive us for our ambition, but did we not hold the right to know and confirm knowledge of the Tutelary? Doubt still festered in the minds of many, and to finding the truth would ease us all, even our Wishmaker.
So we searched the beyonds of our skies for the Milky Way, Earth, and our Wishmaker.
Despite our earlier plan in expanding what we could see of the galaxy by multitudes to find our Tutelary—and in turn—explore the stars, a much simpler solution was with us.
The vessels with a "Level Ten Friendship", the Fairy, the Traveler and the unwavering links they shared with the Tutelary.
Through these bonds we reached into the universe and met the portal called "Genshin Impact", the very veil that allowed contact between our Wishmaker and Teyvat.
The device of our Patron was at our control now, and we sought that power, to finally taste freedom, at last take the lead in the twisted play written by the Creators, and bring our Tutelary into our reality.
The Pantheon talked of threats to the Wishmaker, but they could never act on them, not when the Wishmaker's world never held a drop of their lifeblood in it.
With the newfound connection, with the technology connecting the guardian and their guarded, we explored the nigh infinite knowledge, pursuing to satisfy our hunger for comprehension.
And how it was spoiled . . .
A visionless, magicless, dare we say, G O D L E S S WORLD, brimming with technologies we could never even dream of.
Advancements and intelligence in every field the scribes scrambled to record.
We learned of the world our Tutelary claimed miHoYo, HoYoverse, and even the Pantheon took inspiration from to make the Librettos.
How could we not be swayed to adopt new inventions, expertise, and wisdom from a world so further ahead of us, so free?
How could we not be swayed to incorporate the wonders exclusive to our world into all that was state-of-the-art from the Earth, improving on it in such impossible ways?
How could we not be swayed to double down on summoning our Tutelary, as we modernized our world, perfected the crafts of Earth, and grew wise to the sins of both the worlds, sins we shall never repeat?
Their world was dying, rotting away to the iniquity of the powerful; try as the people, even the Tutelary might, Earth was falling apart, and it would always be inadequate.
We cannot allow our Wishmaker to remain in such a doomed world, but since it wasn't ours we couldn't interfere with it.
We will free the Tutelary from their doomed world just as they did for us . . .
. . . and grant a wish not even all the Pantheon could grant.
" I wish Teyvat was real and that I could see it with my own two eyes . . . "
Rest assured our Tutelary, you will see Teyvat with your holy form, at last be granted safety from the Earth . . .
All we must do is slaughter the Creators at last, and then Teyvat will be prepared for your entrance . . .

Now for the extra notes!
The Pantheon
Instead of the Reader being the Creator, it's everybody up in Celestia except for those who ascended up there.
We'll get to the ascended later
Anyways unlike Creator!Reader, these Creator Gods are much, much stronger. Even individually!
No mortal bodies or waiting for their Divinity or Divine powers to return, they've still got abilities and aren't fatigued in any way!
In fact this group has made five previous storylines they forced worlds of their making to follow, hence Genshin Impact, Teyvat's Libretto, being Libretto Six.
You can imagine the previous five Librettos as the five games miHoYo made before Genshin Impact or anything else.
Basically these Creator Gods couldn't be normal and write books or make a show or movies or whatever when they banded together to come up with stories to tell.
No they chose to make real worlds and force said worlds to follow the scripts they make, once they're done with the stories in mind for said worlds for good, they leave it forever. They want their tales to be as real as possible.
So these Gods brainwash and puppet the people they created. All to set the stage for their prewritten tales.
Back to Teyvat, they're the latest creation and thus victim of the Pantheon.
depends on you if this is a repeat scenario or a first time but the Creators decide, for whatever reason, to have a mortal take the reigns in the story of Genshin Impact.
I'll continue this in the miHoYo section.
Celestia is basically the Cinema of these Creators, where they sit and watch shit go down.
Oh boy. People who ascend to Celestia don't become gods. The truth is that even before the Tutelary, people could develop the ability to resist the control of the Pantheon, but the Gods are stupid good at detecting that.
Thus they nip that problem in the bud ASAP by instantaneously kidnapping those people to Celestia and keep those people captive up there, where the ascended cannot act out of line without severe punishment.
The Creators won't kill them though, they have plans for them.
Also the Tutelary and miHoYo can warp time in Teyvat thanks to the Creators granting them that ability. So they too can warp time.
The Unknown God was designed not just for the plot the Pantheon had in mind, but to enforce the Pantheon's will. Sustainer of Heavenly Principle all of that. Aether and Lunime tried to escape the world of Genshin, but the god put a stop to that.
That or Aether and Lunime arrive to Teyvat unaware of the dangers, tried to fight back against the gods, Sustainer stopped them, and the Creators realized they could use them for their stage play, just do some non-consensual body modification (which allows for the Traveler to gain the elements of a Nations Archon) and now the Twins are THEIR totally original characters, don't steal their OCs! >:(
miHoYo
2023 woobification arc lol
The Creators approach miHoYo, show their godhood, and demand that miHoYo make a game based on their own world or else.
They also control almost every detail on miHoYo's adaption of Teyvat so that they don't ruin Earth's view on their creative vision. Prideful bastards. bUT it prevents the shitshow that is Sumeru so in that case I'm an apologist <3 but not in any other scenario, nononono
Just like Creation, Sumeru is nothing like what we got in Real Life™️.
So yeah, miHoYo makes Genshin Impact, it's connected to a very real Teyvat. When developing Genshin Impact they affect Teyvat.
Testing a character means that character gets taken over. NPCs are bound to the code miHoYo writes, etc., etc..
Except everyone's accounts and games are perfectly normal. They're just Ones and Zeros. There's nothing abnormal with anyone's game.
Anyone but yours.
We'll get to that in The Tutelary's section.
Also the gunpoint is pure intimidation since, well, the Pantheon of had no hand in making Earth, so they're powerless there, if only miHoYo caught onto the bluff . . .
Yeah Creator Gods have no real power in any worlds but those they actually participate in creating here.
The Cult
Since the storyline of Genshin Impact in enforced onto Teyvat, there's a good chance that what people say and do is what they wouldn't do with their free will.
As a result, people are unlike what the Libretto says, lending a perfect excuse for OOC writing.
How horrible, to do such terrible things against your will, trapped in your very own body.
Who is the Cult here if not Celestia?
My answer is whoever you'd want. Yeah groups like The Fatui are obvious since they're gunning for Celestia but it can be whoever you'd want since everyone would hate the Creators.
Also, Teyvat is going to look very different with the entire internet at their disposal. It's revolutionizing quick!
That's the only revolution however. The Cult is ready to kill the Creators and be free from them at last.
Also the world of Teyvat has been under the control of the Pantheon since day one until the Tutelary came, which is going to result in many devoted cults.
The Tutelary
AKA the reader. the (un?)lucky soul who's account won the fucking lottery and affects an actual Teyvat
Everyone games are perfectly normal.
You however got the bridge to another world.
Yeah the Pantheon selected whoever's account to affect Teyvat at complete random.
Here, you're somebody who plays the game like it's SAGAU, Self-Aware Genshin Impact AU. You act like a guardian deity to your vessels and treat them to the best of your ability, and make up for whatever wounds they're delt.
Since you do affect a real Teyvat, this only garners more devotion towards you. You believe to some degree they're not real but treat them like the people they are anyways.
Why the code of the game and thus rules of the world warps itself for you? How you can seize the powers of the Pantheon? I do not know.
When interacting with the fandom and checking out the playthroughts of other Genshin Players, you'll notice that your game is going down a whole different route than theirs. They also got none of the features you assumed were part of updates. huh.
Well, that's just more fuel for your sagau fantasies!
Wait why are you in Teyvat now-?
If any I have misrepresented/mishandled topics in my writing, please let me know and tell me how I fucked up so that I can avoid doing so in the future.

Billions around the world had scrambled to finish their playthroughs to watch the very last livestream Mihoyo would ever send- at least for Genshin Impact. Who knows what other games there would be. Like the new addition to Honkai Impact: Guardian Trail
The livestream was bittersweet. Every character was showcased. From all of Mondstat to all of Khaenri'ah, including every dead character being featured. All the voice actors had been gathered and gave their farewells, each leaving with a heartfelt message.
At the end of the livestream the devs of the game made an appearance.
"Due to popular demand, the game will still run after you finish but there will be no new content. Events will be rerun and no new world quests, hangouts or characters will occur. You can continue on your current account or have a fresh start. We thank you for play Genshin Impact. Goodbye Genshin Impact and goodbye Travelers."
And then it cut to black. One last Goodbye flashed on the screen before the stream died, leaving billions devastated yet content. I was among those billions. Years spent playing the game, investing in characters and equipment. And now we've reached the end. Lumine and Aether had finally been reunited and were headed to their next adventure.
I let out a sigh and leaned heavily against my chair, staring at the Goodbye and reading it over and over again until it didn't even look like a word anymore. I should get up soon. I had chores to do. I wasn't a teenager with no responsibility anymore. There were dishes that needed to be washed, clothes that needed to be cleaned. Just as I was about to get up from my desk a ding rang out from my computer.
I debated on if I should open it. If I did, who knows how long I'd push back being responsible. But if I didn't, the curiosity would eat me alive…
Against my better judgement I looked to see where the ding came from. After a bit of looking I came to the Genshin launcher, which showed a picture of the twins in a white flower field, waving goodbye to the camera with serene smiles on their faces. Though the image was obstructed with a window that said [Start over from the beginning?]
"Start over? Maybe Mihoyo thought some people would rather restart their account than make a new one? Maybe restarting gives some extra benefits?" I mused out loud as my mouse hovered over the [Accept] box. Right before I pressed it I glanced at the clock, seeing how late it was getting. "I'll restart and get started on those chores. I'll check it out when I'm done."
Little did I know, those would be the last words I said. At least in this timeline.
After I pressed [Accept] it felt like time stopped. Everything went still. The quiet buzzing of the AC stopped, the gentle squeaks of my guinea pigs ceased, the faint chatter from outside halted. Even the acanio upstairs stopped playing his music- it was impossible to get him to stop playing without a police visitation. I froze, unsure what to do before the world slowly started going black. I tried holding onto my consciousness but it was a futile effort.
The next time I opened my eyes something was different. No- even before my eyes opened I knew something was different. My bed was much more uncomfortable than it's ever been, it almost felt like back when I was a teenager and like hard mattresses. There were no stuffed animals smothering me and I swear I could feel a dog curled up next to me. Which should be impossible as the last time I had a dog was when I was a teenager. Which I am not.
When I opened my eyes I had to blink harder. I couldn't see any! The world was blurry and too out of focus. I haven't had to deal with this since I turned twenty three and got corrective eye surgery. Which was four years ago.
Was… was it all a dream? Were the last eleven years of my life… a dream? Everything I worked for? Everything I did? Did it not matter? Did I just imagine it? Did clicking that stupid accept button wake me up?
I rolled onto my back, disturbing the dog next to me, and covered my eyes with my arm, hiding the slowly building tears that had started to gather. "Fucking hell... I think I made a mistake." I whispered out, wincing at how high pitched my voice was. Would my voice become as deep as it was in my dream? Or would it get more annoying?
"(Y/N)! Wake up! Breakfast is ready!" I heard my mom yell from down the hall.
I slowly lowered my arm and let it rest over my stomach, staring up at the ceiling. Tears slowly clouded my vision, making my already blurry vision even worse. I wiped my eyes, hoping the unwanted liquid was the only reason I couldn't see. After trying to focus on seeing clearly I gave up, looking over to the messy blob or brown fur. "How long was I asleep Fox? It definitely felt like years. And I'm not even well rested."
The dog only rolled over, letting me pet her stomach. Despite not wanting to get out of bed I knew I had to get up at some point, least my mom comes in my room to drag me out herself. I wonder if anything from my dream will come true.

HELLO IM BACK FROM MY BREAK ITS ONE OF ALICE’S ANONS (in all honesty i forgot which emoji i was) ANYWAYS
i would like to request
cocolia (hsr) x reader (obviously fem) <3 angst to smut :) i give u free reign <3
NO ONE WRITES FOR HER AND IT MAKES ME SAD i just finished the trailblazer mission, I MISS HER
Hello, welcome back anon! Good to see you again <3
You have no idea how much I relate with you; truth be told that her death and unplayability is one of the main reasons I'm not playing the game (others are I don't like turn based plus I have way too many gacha games in my mantel).
I had found out what happens in beta itself and decided to save myself the pain and suffering, it feels like they repeated Signora's case. Mihoyo has something against blonde ice mommies I'm sure. Your request came at a perfect time since I was really craving to write something on her!
(18+) CONTENT MINDORS DNI
Game: Honkai Star Rail
Characters: HSR Cocolia x fem! reader (trailblazer)
Type: Smut and Angst (comfort sex, fingering, oral, scissoring, kissing, Cocolia doesn't die because we protect fine women like her <3
W.C: Uh....very long. This is pretty much a rewrite of the mission, please bear with me :(
The moment you laid your eyes on her, you were mesmerised. She appeared like a goddess, a queen— so regal, commanding, beautiful yet harbouring something....cold deep within. The moment your eyes met her violet ones, you felt a connection, an unknown feeling awakened inside you.
"Welcome, visitors from beyond the Eternal Freeze, or perhaps I should say from beyond the sky. I'm Cocolia Rand, the Supreme Guardian of Belobog. I would be grateful if you could tell me why you have come."
The enchanting woman in front of you spoke, her eyes gazing at you and your allies. You felt her look at you particularly, the same violet eyes staring deeply into you and making you entranced.
"Ahem, Y/n— answer her." March whispered to you, making you come back to your senses and blink a few times.
"Apologies, thank you for accepting us. It's surprising that you don't seem to doubt our identity."
"Hehe~ Do you want me to doubt it? Or are you not confident in it yourself? Rest assured, I don't doubt it. I can see you are not from this world and....for 700 hundred years, the Architects received no communication from the stars but I knew of your existence. Tell me why you have come."
Dan Heng took over from here and began explaining to her about the Stellaron and the Fragmentum Corrosion that plagued the planet, Cocolia listened intently and seemed slightly surprised that he summed up the planet's situation down to the exact details.
"I see....You understand our situation well but, I fail to understand why you would want to help us. Even if this Stellaron you speak of did bring about disaster, I fail to see its connection to you. I don't believe that anyone would go to such lengths to help a world unrelated to them....unless they had something to gain."
You then further explained to her and she eventually agreed to take your help, the negotiation went quite smoothly unlike your expectations but you were glad to see she seemingly trusted you.
"Very well, I'm willing to assist you in any way possible to locate the Stellaron. You must be tired now, I'll have you escorted to our most comfortable hotel to rest. Get a good night's sleep and we can discuss this matter in more detail tomorrow."
"Thank you for believing us, ma'am. We'd be glad to help restore the planet and help you live in prosperity like old times."
You spoke determinedly while looking at Cocolia, making her slightly surprised at your conviction. She gave a small smile and nodded then you turned around to go out with March and Dan Heng but suddenly heard an eerie whisper in your mind, making you stop and look back at Cocolia who was now looking out of the window and pondering.
"What was that? Why does it feel like there's someone with her, speaking to her....?"
You squinted your eyes then shook off the thought and walked out to meet up with Dan Heng and March. You were shown around the city by Gepard before finally being dropped at Goethe Hotel, you bid farewell to March and Dan Heng as they went to their respective rooms to sleep while you went to yours and rested on the bed, pondering about the day's happenings.
"It's been a long day. The Supreme Guardian was really something....so strong, commanding and....beautiful. Her voice was....really attractive too."
Your face turned redder as Cocolia continuously appeared in your mind; there was something about her that had captured your attention— the way she spoke, acted, smiled— everything was captivating you. You shook your head and turned over in bed, trying to keep your thoughts aside and sleep. You had barely closed your eyes when suddenly the same strange whispers echoed in your mind followed by a faint dream.
"Cocolia...Cocolia..." the whisper spoke.
"Wh-Who are you? What are you....?" Cocolia replied back.
"We are allies....allies of the guardians through generations."
"....What do you want?
"To rebuild....this dying world...To help you....achieve your wish."
You struggled around in bed and held onto a pillow, the dream becoming unbearable but it didn't stop yet.
"They will suffer, sacrifice and die because of my order...." Cocolia spoke.
"It is not death which greets them....They will be swept into the infancy of a new world." the whisper replied.
"What about the Underworlders? They will lose the protection of the Architects. They will see me....as a tyrant."
"You have witnessed....the world we have promised. A temporary misunderstanding....for an eternity of prosperity. We will honor....your decision."
"....I understand."
You immediately opened your eyes and sat up on the bed, gasping for breath loudly. You held your head and looked around to see it was still the middle of the night then thought back to what just happened.
"Those voices....Cocolia? And who? Who was she speaking to....? And why can I hear this....? Don't tell me....it was the Stellaron? It can't be....she didn't know what the Stellaron was. Unless....she was lying. Could the whisper I heard there be the same thing....? I need more clues....It seemed like she started talking to it at a young age, or more like it manipulated her from a young age...."
You looked at the time again then firmed your decision and stood up to walk out of the room, discreetly, without waking up March and Dan Heng. You navigated through the city to escape the gaze of the Silvermane Guards and reached the place where the Astral Express was parked.
"Himeko, Welt. I want to talk to both of you."
The two of them came out into the lounge area at your announcement, surprised to see you here all alone.
"Y/n? What happened? Why are you here alone?" Himeko questioned.
"I....I think I figured out something about the Stellaron on this planet. And I need your help, I didn't tell March and Dan Heng yet...."
"Fine, go ahead." Welt replied.
"We met the Supreme Guardian some hours ago and got her approval to let us remove the Stellaron. When I was there, I heard some....eerie whispers for a short moment and it also felt like there was someone else in the room with Cocolia but we couldn't see anything. Then later, when I tried to sleep....I had dreams. I'm not sure but it sounded like the Supreme Guardian was talking to a Stellaron."
Both Welt and Himeko were caught by surprise then pondered for a while before Himeko spoke, "Are you sure, Y/n? Did you also see something?"
"Yes, not very clearly but....it looked like her younger self, she seemed to be in pain and agony, trying to resist the voice but it kept showing her something that she couldn't refuse. It said something like....fulfilling her wish to save the planet by giving her a new world...."
"....I see. It's manipulating her by showing the world it'll make by destroying this current one, and little does she know that the Stellaron won't do anything it showed her....It's simply going to destroy everything and take over the world...." Welt spoke.
You nodded along and looked down in distress, trying to think what to do.
"I....I don't want anything bad to happen to her....Of course, I don't want the planet to suffer either but Cocolia herself too, she just wants to protect everyone and be a good Supreme Guardian and a mother...."
Himeko looked at you sympathetically then smiled softly and patted your head, "It seems we underestimated our newest member, Welt. She exceeded both Dan Heng and March already and is even showing considerable conviction~"
You blushed slightly at her compliment then Welt spoke, "So, do you have any suggestion, Y/n?"
"Uh....maybe we can try talking to her and persuading her before anything else happens. I think she started believing in the Stellaron because their own God didn't do anything for so long, the planet is still facing the Eternal Freeze and the Fragmentum Corrosion has even reached the city."
"Mhm, seems reasonable. Then Y/n, I assign you this mission— meet with the Supreme Guardian and persuade her will, with as little struggle as possible."
"W-Wait, me?! Just me?!" you exclaimed in shock.
"Yes, you. You have to do this, Y/n. You are the only the one who has seen and heard the dreams, you know it clearly unlike any of us. Not to mention, if she is already so persuaded by it then she'll likely show an aggressive nature when you reveal everything to her. If there are too many people then she might see it as an ambush."
"....Alright, I'll do my best."
You exited the train and made your way over the residence of the Supreme Guardian; naturally expecting to meet guards outside, you told them you wished to see Cocolia and they took her permission then escorted you to her chambers. Yes, it was her personal chamber and not the office you had been in earlier. You gently knocked on the door and heard a stern 'come in' then opened to go in and found Cocolia standing near the edge of the bed, wearing a sleeping gown and robe.
"My apologies for disturbing you at this hour, ma'am. I...wished to talk to you about something."
"Was it so important that you couldn't wait until our meeting tomorrow? And I see that your companions aren't here either...."
"Y-Yes, they don't know I'm here. I wanted to talk to you personally."
"Hm, interesting. And here I thought you all were faithful to each other but I suppose everyone has their secrets...."
"....Even you?"
You questioned in between making her slightly surprised then sigh and sit on the edge of the bed.
"If you wish to know, then yes, I do. I do have secrets of my own, some that even my daughter doesn't know."
"I have been wondering for some time, is Bronya your real daughter?"
"No, I adopted her some years ago. But I treat her no less than my own, she will eventually follow in my steps and take up this mantel."
"I see, that's a really kind gesture. To give a home to an orphan and groom her into such a capable adult."
Cocolia looked at you in surprise then smiled and stood up, "Forgive my manners, have a seat if you'd like. Shall I serve you something?"
"No, I'm fine. Thank you."
"Hm. Well, was this what you wanted to talk about? My personal life?"
You struggled to answer her as you hadn't really thought out the conversation in advance, but you realized you had to be careful as you couldn't just spring up the question of her alliance with the Stellaron so casually.
"If you don't find it offensive then yes, I did wish to know more about you personally. I was just curious how your life has been, serving as the Supreme Guardian and before it."
"What an intriguing outlander. If I didn't treat you as the highest guest of honor then I would have thrown you into the prison by now."
"Ah....I understand that....I know it's late and we just met, I would offer to tell you about myself too but I unfortunately don't remember anything...."
"You don't remember anything? How very strange...."
You awkwardly looked away, finding it difficult to hold the conversation and move to the important topic.
"....You know, I did wonder about something when I saw you. Why are you with the Astral Express? Why become this....trailblazer?"
"Uh, well....for one, they were the ones who found me when I had just awoken with no memories. They took me in and I have been travelling with them since, Jarilo-VI is the first planet I have visited with them."
"Hm. So....they are like family to you."
"....In a way, I guess. At least they are willing to keep me and treat me well, doing these missions for them is a way of repayment. I somewhat relate with Bronya's situation here...."
"Ah, I suppose you could be seen as an orphan indeed, adopted by the crew."
"Yes and....I won't let any harm come to them, just like how Bronya would always protect you."
Cocolia's eyes widened at that and she looked away with a distressed expression, "I can't say for how long....If she disagrees with me some day then we'll be on opposite sides."
You sensed a weakness, an opening. You cautiously walked towards her and sat beside her on the bed, looking at her with sympathy.
"Is this part of your secret from her?"
Cocolia moved her gaze towards you to be met by a worried expression, catching her off guard. Suddenly, she turned away and you heard the same eerie whisper in your head. You looked at Cocolia and moved slightly closer and heard her mumble, "I know. Just....give me time."
She then turned towards you again and you quickly moved back, resuming your old posture.
"....It is part of it indeed, a secret so grave that she might not see me as her mother anymore."
"I see.....I hope that doesn't happen, the two of you are very affectionate with each other."
"Thank you for your kind words, I hope you can stay with the crew for as long as well."
You smiled then looked around the room slightly before continuing, "So, uhm, what did you do before becoming the Supreme Guardian? I feel like you took up the post at a young age."
"I did, I took up the post as soon as I graduated from my studies. I adopted Bronya just some time after it."
"Oh, so there is a school here."
"What? Did you expect we are so down in the drain that we can't even offer proper education to our citizens?"
"N-No! I'm sorry, I didn't mean that!"
"Hmph, we have all facilities any normal functioning city would. We just have too much ice all around."
"....And the Fragmentum Corrosion."
"Yes, looks like you saw that it has made its way into the city."
"I did, that's why we need to remove the Stellaron as quickly as possible...."
You again heard whisper and saw her turn away from you; this time, you tried to focus what it was saying to her.
"You are....wasting time....Put her....away...."
"I know....I'm just looking for the right moment...."
"She will....create problems...."
"Ma'am? Are you okay?" you called out to her in the middle of the conversation and she turned towards you with a distressed look on her face, almost as if she was in constant pain.
"I'm fine. Is there more you want to talk about? Unlike you, I do need sleep to maintain my body."
"....What are these whispers that you hear?"
Cocolia was extremely shocked at your question and squinted her eyes into a glare, "What whispers are you talking about?"
"...The voice in your head, it's the Stellaron, isn't it?"
She glared even more and stood up, making you stand up as well and take a few steps away towards the door.
"Seems I underestimated you. You are much more perceptive than your companions."
"It has been talking to you since a young age, hasn't it?!"
"Silence! Do not question this further. Guards!"
She shouted and 2 Silvermane Guards immediately came inside the room with weapons.
"Put her in the prison, she is a traitor now!"
"Wait, listen to me! I know what it is and what you hear! It's controlling you! You are being brainwashed! Don't listen to it!"
You shouted as you fought with the guards, knocking them out one by one.
"The Stellaron won't save the planet! It only wants to destroy everything, it won't rebuild it the way it has shown you!"
"How dare you speak of the true God this way?! Our God has long abandoned us and this our only hope!"
"It isn't, it's going to destroy everything! Your home, your people, your daughter!"
Cocolia was suddenly taken aback and became silent before raising her arm and shouting, "I was going to wait until morning but....In the name of the Supreme Guardian, I hereby strip you of your freedom and beseech the highest degree of treason on you and your companions!"
You gritted your teeth and heard sound of fast approaching footsteps hence prepared to escape as quickly as possible.
"Please think about what I said. I promise to save you."
You ran out of the fort with hordes of guards behind you, you were soon surrounded by even more guards then heard Dan Heng and March coming towards you. They cleared a way for you and the three of you ran away together into the alley you had seen before.
"How did you both know where I was?!"
"We have been following you since you left the hotel." Dan Heng replied.
"That's right! Don't you dare abandon us and run away on your own like that ever again, Y/n!" March 7th followed in.
You eventually met up with Sampo again and followed him as he took you three away from the guards. Bronya had also caught up in the pursuit as you all reached the Underground and formed a temporary truce while looking for the Wildfire group. After you had left, Cocolia was in deep thought. The words you spoke resonated deeply with her and she pondered over her actions but the voice of the Stellaron soon plagued her again, sending her into the same torment she had been tolerating for years.
"Look what happened....she knew....It's your fault..."
"Shut up! She...she....she is right..."
"We showed you what we'll give you....you accepted it....You know the truth"
"When I finally had someone who understood me....you took them away...."
"Useless sentiments....it's your duty as the guardian to do this...."
Cocolia clenched her head then stood up, her resolution firm once again, "I know...it will all be over soon."
Upon making allies with the Wildfire group, you had been escorted to the Goethe Hotel in the Underground to rest. In the past few days, you had gathered a lot of information about the planet and Cocolia as a person. You talked to Bronya as she was the closest to her and found out more about her and how she had been ruling in recent times. All the things connected too well— she lost faith in the Preservation and started following the Stellaron as it promised a new world to her free from the disaster.
You were currently laying down on your bed at the hotel, thinking about your mission and about Cocolia. You did not want her to go down this path of ruin any longer, the times you heard her thoughts, you also sensed her pain and suffering. You could sense how much she had tried to resist it but she was only human, the continuous torment weighed on her too much. Just then, the whisper returned again and another dream flashed before you.
"I lost her....My wish, your so-called plan....What is the point of it all?" Cocolia barely spoke, her voice shaking from the constant despair she was facing.
"Your grief....sorrow....useless sentiments....abandon them all..."
"Silence! She is my daughter, my only....You soulless thing— how could you begin to fathom!? You will never understand....Never!"
"You did not lose her....She waits to be reunited with you on the other side."
"A new world...."
"Rise....guardian. Fulfill your destiny...Fulfill a mother's wish."
The voices finally stopped and you were on shaking by now, it felt too much to you. Her pain, sorrow, grief— everything was shared with you and made you scared, uncertain. How did she survive for so long with all that constant torment? How is she still carrying on her Guardian's Will? She was no frail woman but no ordinary human could tolerate such mental torture for so long.
"I need to do something quick. She's....dying, she's practically dying like this....Would she listen to Bronya? Maybe, I can try. They have ignored the Underworld for so long, now Bronya has seen it and she understands.....But, there needs to be something more concrete, she needs to be shown that the Amber Lord is still watching over them."
You had talked to Bronya soon after and explained her everything you had been experiencing, trying to make her understand how her mother had been suffering for such a long time all because she wanted to save the planet. Yet, your attempts had been in vain so far and here you were, at the battlefield of ice and snow, facing Cocolia in all her power.
You fought and struggled, trying to find a way to turn her over but her will was unshaken. The Stellaron gave her immense power, she awakened the Engine of Creation which created even more obstacles for you but you were determined. You were going to defeat the Stellaron and bring her back, there was no way you were going to leave her.
"If that thing is the Stellaron then....we need to weaken it to power her down." you thought while looking at the structure beside you that was radiating an eerie and powerful glow. You turned to face your comrades and called them near to explain your plan.
"Bronya, you said you heard the Stellaron there, right?" Bronya nodded. "Okay then, help me reach her up there and when I signal, all of you attack that structure with all your powers. You can't destroy it but we just need an opening for me."
Everyone was surprised at your proposition but agreed as they trusted your judgement, they readied themselves and assisted you as you navigated your way atop the Engine of Creation and be face to face with Cocolia again.
"You again....What a persistent little one you are."
"I promised to save you and make things right, I'm going to keep it!"
"Hmph, big words from a gullible Nameless! Only I understand that Stellaron is the true hope for this world, your name will be engraved on the foundation of the new world that the Stellaron has promised!"
She drew more of the Stellaron's power and transformed into a new form, complete with accessories made of ice and her body reflecting the galaxy. She summoned a lance and jumped at you, piercing you in the left side of your chest, very near to the heart. You gasped and were pushed back from the force but held yourself in place by holding onto the lance, she struggled and applied more force to thrust it deeper when you suddenly heard the whispers in your mind that were also in Cocolia's mind.
The whispers soon faded away and your mind went numb from the pain, you then found yourself in a place surrounded by nebulous stars, seemingly enveloped by an amber-colored destiny. A small child was in front of you who called itself the Guardian's Will, it spoke about the Supreme Guardian's duties and how it felt it had failed them since even the strongest minds could succumb to dark desires like this.
"We could not deny the will of the Stellaron after all...The Fragmentum had been expanding for the past 700 years. There is no faith nor wealth left for our successors...only despair. To see the home we vowed to preserved wither away....That in itself is torture. Not to mention the haunting whisper of temptation...." the child spoke.
"....Cocolia only did what she did to save the planet, your home. The Stellaron tormented her for awful long years, she has experienced so much pain and suffering all for the Will that she succeeded into. She felt she found a way, even if that way leads to destruction first but she saw paradise beyond it. That is why she succumbed, for her people, for humanity."
"....What are you implying, outsider? The day will come when even the strongest of wills cannot help but give in to such influence. It is only a matter of time before the Amber Lord forsakes us."
"I'm saying she needs to be guided again! She has a good heart and a strong will; she is a good mother and did her duties exceptionally all this time. You can't abandon her like this!"
"You wish to save her? You, a stranger, seek to bind your destiny to hers?"
"....I don't want to be a hero. I just want everyone to be well and happy, that includes her too."
"Hm, very well. Touch the light of the Amber, trailblazer. See if your will can attract their gaze."
You walked up to the shining fiery lance and proceeded to touch it, only to feel slightly burned by the intense heat. You remembered Cocolia's face and firmed yourself to be stronger, you were going to do this for her. You grasped the handle and pulled out the lance when you saw a faint imagery of a higher existence, the Amber Lord. At the same time, your consciousness was restored in your body and you found yourself at the same place like before.
You were tightly holding Cocolia's lance as it pierced you and she was unable to shake you off. You gasped and opened your eyes to look around then clenched her lance tighter, channeling fire through it which made Cocolia shocked and she tried to retract back but you reacted faster.
"Now! Everyone do it now!" you shouted as loudly as possible and at your command, everyone down below attacked the Stellaron with all their strength. Cocolia felt her power weaken for a few moments and held her head, that's when you established a connection with her and showed her what you had previously seen.
"Look, Cocolia! The Amber Lord! He's still there, the Will of the Preservation lives on! Don't listen to the Stellaron anymore!!"
Cocolia heard your words loud and clear, she found herself in the place you were at earlier and gazed at the Amber Lord for a brief moment. Her body trembled at its presence and she kneeled down in horror, trying to grasp the situation. However, this is as long as you had. The Stellaron repelled your allies and established its connection with Cocolia again, causing you to be pushed back with the lance still pierced in your body.
You both fell down to the platform below where everyone else was and pulled out the lance with all force you had and it soon turned into a weapon of fire; at the same time, Cocolia turned back to her normal form and was struggling very hard against the Stellaron's impending influence. Dan Heng and Bronya helped you stand up and watched as Cocolia struggled around, kneeling down and holding her head.
"Out of my way!" you shouted and ran up to Cocolia to hold her, the Stellaron was not letting her go and continued feeding its powers to her.
"The Fragmentum Corrosion will overwhelm her if this goes on!"
You thought hard and fast, time was running out. Cocolia now clenched her chest as a light started glowing around it and for the first time, she uttered her plea, her cry for help with a trembling and pained voice.
"H-H....Help....Please....I don't w-w....want to...."
You were caught by surprise then firmly held her shoulders and made your decision, this was the only way you could think of. You leaned forward and connected your lips to her, her body immediately stopping at the sudden contact. You heard gasps of surprise from behind you, not surprising but you had no time to care for them. You connected with the Stellaron that was powering her and channeled your own energy to overpower it.
"Get out! Leave her alone!"
The moment lasted for a short while, the Stellaron had left its control over her and you released the kiss. You opened your eyes and gazed into her teary yet gentle ones, clearly surprised by what you just did but she soon fainted in your arms before she could say anything. She clearly exhausted all her strength earlier but she was fine and breathing, that's all you cared about.
Your companions walked around you as you picked up Cocolia in your arms bridal style and stood up. March was blushing and covering her face in excitement, she was ready to burst out any moment. Dan Heng had his usual stern expression; Seele was grinning in a weird way while Bronya seemed embarrassment but was the first to clear her throat and speak.
"Ahem, thank you for your help, all of you....especially you, Y/n."
"N-No, it's okay....Happy to help...."
Bronya smiled, "We can keep mother at the residence then discuss what to do from now on."
You nodded then looked at Dan Heng, "We have to inform Welt and Himeko to deal with the Stellaron now."
"I know, I already did that. They'll be here soon. Now that the Stellaron is sealed, the Eternal Freeze will slowly recede. The Fragmentum won't aggressively expand anymore, but nor will it disappear. Jarilo-VI has a chance to return to life, but it will take time..."
You smiled then looked at Bronya and Seele, "I'm sure they'll handle it."
Exchanging nods of agreement, you proceeded to go to Qlipoth Fort to place Cocolia in her room and let her rest. The guards were ready to attack you but seeing you carry Cocolia that way made them retract back and wait for further orders. An eventful day finally came to an end, you went to the Underworld and explained the situation to them as discussed with Bronya until Cocolia awakens so you can further decide what to do.
It seems your expedition had come to an end, now it was in the hands of the people of Belobog to take it from here. You spent the day bidding farewell to all your companions before you finally returned to the Astral Express to continue your journey. You had wished to meet Cocolia one last time before leaving but it seems that was not quite possible, nobody knew when she would wake up and you were to leave as soon as possible.
It was the morning of next day, you woke up to find messages from Bronya telling you that Cocolia had woken up and was asking to see you. Surprised yet relieved, you informed Himeko and excused yourself to go to Qlipoth Fort since you had time, the train was scheduled to depart in the afternoon. You were escorted to Cocolia's chamber, the same one from earlier. You saw her sitting on the edge of the bed and stand up as soon you entered, the two of you looking at each other shyly.
"Uh...do sit down, Y/n. Would you like something to eat and drink?"
"Um, just a coffee is fine...."
Cocolia nodded with a smile and ordered her butler who soon served 2 cups of coffee to both of you. You sat upon the bed beside each other, finding it difficult to speak. All of a sudden, you felt nervous around her, you couldn't look her in the eye. You would feel your face heat up at her gaze and you'd stutter your words, almost appearing like a fool.
"....I heard everything from Bronya. And I do remember many things myself now that I have recovered sufficiently."
"I-I see...."
"It was all my fault....my weakness made everyone suffer so much...The people of the Underworld I neglected, my guards that I sacrificed with no remorse, the friendships I broke and....threatened my own daughter's life. I don't think I can ever forgive myself...."
You looked at her wide eyed then gently held her hand, causing her to face you. "Don't blame yourself this way, you only did what you felt was right for the planet, to save it. The Stellaron manipulated you, it's not your fault."
"....I couldn't resist it's influence. If I was strong enough and held on to the Preservation then none of this would have happened."
"Yet you tolerated the Stellaron's torment for so long, that's no ordinary feat. That shows how strong you are, for not breaking for so long. You have what it takes to bear the Guardian's Will, don't think you are undeserving."
"You...." Cocolia fumbled on her words, tears filling her eyes as she gazed at you and recalled all that you did.
"You had no reason to do all this yet you....went so far for me...."
"I...I didn't do much...."
"You did...You saved me and all of us....How can I ever repay you....?"
She came closer and cupped your face, gazing at you with love and causing you to blush.
"D-Don't worry about those things....I just wanted everyone to be well and happy, that's all. I don't want anything in return."
Tears rolled down her cheeks which she wiped away then moved her hands towards your chest, "I'm sorry for hurting you. Does it still pain? Did I leave a scar?"
You smiled then moved your shirt down slightly, exposing some of your chest to show her.
"See? Everything is fine. I don't know how but the lance didn't pierce my skin at all, or maybe it did but I healed and I didn't even realize it...."
You chuckled and she smiled in return looking at you, you had unintentionally come very close to her face. Your eyes trailed over her exquisite features, her captivating violet eyes, long lashes and rosy red lips. She too was gazing at you the same way, your lips enrapturing her as she remembered what you had done the day before.
"I-I'm sorry for....k-kissing you that way yesterday. I stepped into your personal space without permission, it's the only way I could think of to get the Stellaron away from you....."
You blurted out an apology as sincere as you could, you were still overwhelmed by her presence. She squinted her eyes then suddenly held your face firmly, looking at you with determination.
"Then, you have permission now. Do anything....even more than just a kiss."
"W-What—?!"
Your words were blocked as she crashed her lips against yours, engaging in a gentle yet passionate kiss. A softness enveloped your lips instantly, her lips moving with yours in perfect harmony, as if they were made for each other. You felt blissful, a strange yet addicting feeling engulfed you. She was slow and gentle, savoring the feeling and taste of your lips and you of hers.
Your hands settled on her waist and subconsciously pulled her closer, her body pressed against yours as she pushed you back by your shoulders, making you lean on your elbows. She was practically all over you, capturing you within herself in every way. She was already occupying your mind for days and at this moment, she had your body wrapped around herself as well.
"Aaah~ Mhmm....Y-Y/n~"
She muffled out moans of your name, her tongue swiped your lower lip and you naturally let her in, almost too eagerly in some way. The kiss became rougher as you continued, her tongue swirled with yours in exquisite rhythm. Your hands crawled around her back, sliding into the hip windows of her dress before she finally stopped and abruptly pulled away. Flushed, she straddled your waist and you quickly removed your hands from her body.
"I-I'm so-"
"Ssh~ Don't be, don't you dare be." she placed her finger on your lip, effectively stopping you from uttering the wrong phrase.
She took a moment to compose herself, breathing in and out a few times before shyly looking away.
"Are you sure you want to do this with someone like me....? Y-You know I'm not exactly considered young now, you might want someone your age. Not to mention, all the heinous things I did....I'm not really desirable."
"....I didn't think of those but....I could say the same things. You would be better with someone your age; I have no experience in this so I may not be able to satisfy you. I don't consider myself attractive either, nobody really compliments me for my looks—"
"That's not true! You are really adorable!"
Cocolia exclaimed and held your face, leaning down near you.
"I had found you cute the first time we met; I didn't express it but I really did think that."
Your eyes widened in surprise then you extended you hand towards her face, "What a coincidence. I had found you very beautiful at that time too, I didn't even think about your age. I was just...instantly captivated."
Her face flushed even more; you could look at this adorable expression all day.
"Does that mean you....liked me since then?"
"....I did. I didn't realize it back then but now I do. I really like you."
You spoke honestly, not wanting to hide your feelings any longer. You expected her to be surprised— which she was— but not for long. She instead smiled and gently pecked your lips, "....I like you too. And I want to show my gratitude for all that you did, will you let me?"
There was no need for that but you didn't deny her, you felt this was the only time you could be together like this. Nobody knew how long it would be when you'd return to this planet, and nobody knew how she would change in that time. You had yearned to hold her, feel her and if she was willing as well then there was no greater joy for you.
You both sat up and she proceeded to untie her hair, letting them freely flow before taking off your jacket and t-shirt. She caressed the same spot on your chest as before, possibly still feeling guilty about what she did. She then leaned in and placed soft kisses on the spot, feather like kisses that felt comforting and sent shivers in your body. She moved to your neck and planted more kisses, along with licking and biting at some spots.
"I'll give you a good time. Do tell me if there's something you don't like, I don't want to do something wrong that would....make you hate me." she whispered in your ear while kissing the lobe, her warm breath tickling you and making you squirm in place.
"D-Don't worry, I trust you....I won't hate you, ever."
She smiled in contentment then pushed you down before sliding off her down clothes, her ample breasts displayed in front of your eyes. She sensed your gaze was fixated on her chest, she then leaned down and laced your palms together, fingers interlocking while she initiated a passionate kiss. She seemed to be cautious, considerate that it was your first time. And possibly, she didn't want to hurt you in any form, you were the only one who still loved her this way.
Tears formed in her eyes as you kissed, she became uncontrollable now. She knew things would never be the same with her people, her daughter. She'd most likely be punished once she steps outside this room, and once everyone knew the truth then nobody would ever look up to her the same way again. She released your palms and instead held your face, her lips trembling but she didn't want to part from the kiss.
"I-I'm sorry....really sorry. And thank you....thank you very much...." she mumbled while ghosting over your lips, you felt disheartened and wrapped your arms around her to hold her close. She then started kissing you passionately again, roughly moving her lips with yours. The uncertainty and despair in her mind were reflected in her love, she was desperate and needy but also careful and gentle.
Before long, her hand slid down to your pants and slipped underneath, making you groan in surprise. She released the kiss to let you breathe, both of you panting while gazing at each other. She crawled down unbuttoned your pants and removed them, leaving you in just your underwear. Your face flushed as she stared at your naked self, but she gave an assuring smile before planting kisses on your stomach.
"You are really cute, Y/n. Your reactions are adorable and I want to see them more~"
You blushed even more and averted your gaze, too embarrassed by her words. She chuckled then gently moved your face up front again and pecking your lips.
"Don't be shy, let me look at you. I want to engrave all your expressions in my mind~"
You slowly nodded then she slid her hand under your panties, gently caressing your folds. Her face buried in your shoulder, lips right near the ear as she whispered sweet praises and encouragement while rubbing your clit. You shuddered; her fingers were slightly cold yet felt so good. Her sweet voice didn't stop mumbling at all, at some point you couldn't make out anymore what she was saying because your mind was hazy from the way her fingers moved.
She gathered your juices and thrusted in, delicately at first to let you get used to and find your sensitive spots. She kept note of your reactions profoundly, she wanted this to be perfect. The jerk of your legs and moans spilling from your lips whenever she touched that one spot gave her all the assurance, your breathing became ragged as she fastened her pace now. She inserted another finger seeing how wet you were and it gave her confidence, confidence that she was doing good.
You bit your lip as you tried to stifle your moans but she instead held it in her teeth to make you release, an indication that she wanted you to let it out as much as you wanted. The action sent you over the edge and she didn't miss that, your walls contracted on her fingers and she started thrusting faster now. Incoherent moans and gasps left your mouth and she relished those.
Cocolia was also strangely quite....motherly during the whole act. She was continuously praising you, encouraging you, telling you how adorable you were. You felt like being pampered, not that you were against it. Perhaps it was in her nature, intentionally or not. She kissed your cheeks before burying herself in your shoulder again, you clenched the bedsheet as you felt your high approaching soon.
"Cumming? Let it out, sweetheart~"
Adding that nickname was the last thing you needed, you had no restraint now. You arched back and released all over her fingers, your eyes shut tight and a loud moan echoing in the room. She smiled and gazed at your panting self before taking out her fingers, coated with your juices. What followed was something even more arousing to you— she licked all your juices from her fingers, not missing a single drop and cleaning it completely. You swear you almost came again watching that sight.
"How sweet....just like you~"
She slurred on her words; oh, how irresistible the sight was.
"Was it good? Something you didn't like or would prefer?" she questioned with sincerity. Even though it was clear how much you liked it, she wanted to be sure.
You smiled and nodded then sat up, she smiled back and was about to lean closer but you suddenly turned over and placed her on the bed instead, straddling her now. She was extremely surprised yet aroused, your eyes glinted with an insatiable desire while gazing at her. She felt like burning at your intense gaze, rubbing her legs together and face turning redder. She was likely not expecting this from you but she couldn't be more ready.
"You said you wanted to show your gratitude through this. Then....I want to show my love, and the fact that I will always support you and be there for you. I know you are feeling very distressed over what happened, you are blaming yourself too much for it all. I-I know it may seem like empty words considering I won't be here but—"
Cocolia quickly pulled you down and crashed your lips onto hers, preventing you from speaking further.
"Don't say more, don't...." you smiled then she pulled you down and hugged you, your head enveloped between her boobs while she caressed your hair.
You blushed and moved your hands to cup her breasts and knead them, soft gasps leaving her mouth. You attached your mouth to her nipple and flicked your tongue, her chest instantly heaving and back arching as she gasped out. You swirled your tongue around the hardened bud while pinching the other one, she was holding you close the whole time, almost hugging you like a baby.
You sucked on her nipple then released it with a pop, continuing to plant kisses down her stomach until you reached her core. You spread her legs making her shiver in anticipation, she was already so wet, clearly inviting you. Her scent engulfed your senses, you pecked her clit and she instantly cried out then attempted to close her legs but you held them open. You then smirked and wrapped your lips around the sensitive clit, licking long strips over it before sucking.
Her head flew back and fingers intertwined in your hair, her hips jerked up and she moaned out loudly. "Aaah~ Y-Y/n.....More....Hahn!~"
You complied and sucked on her clit harder before licking her walls and inserting your tongue inside, your thumb was playing with her bud while you scissored your tongue inside her spongy hot walls. Juices flowed down as her grip in your hair tightened, you could feel her move her hips on her own as your tongue thrusted in and out.
Cocolia cried out and moaned feverishly, messy whines accompanied by incoherent words filled the room. Her thighs enclosed around your face giving you the chance to raise her body up and go deeper with your tongue, that had her undone soon enough. She pulled you closer in and you religiously ate her out, taking a moment to look at her face which was drowned in pleasure and laced with sweat.
"Y/n! Cumming!~ I'm cumming! Aaaaaahn!~"
She released her sweet and addicting juices over your tongue and you delightedly drank them, savoring the taste. You put her legs down and gazed at her panting self, she smiled and extended her arms for you to come in and hug her, wrapping her whole body around you and holding you contently.
"You said it's your first time but that was really good, didn't seem like you were inexperienced at all." she mused, kissing your forehead.
"Really? I'm glad then."
You raised yourself up and gently kissed her lips, gazing at each other for a while before you crawled back again and settled yourself between her legs. She was confused for a moment but soon understood what you were doing as you intertwined your legs with hers, making a scissor formatting. She flushed with excitement and embarrassment, she didn't expect this from you but she would be lying if she said she didn't want this.
You came closer and slowly rubbed your clits together, an electrical feeling going through both of you. She watched you from beneath as you groaned and whined, picking up the pace and finding the right rhythm. You too watched her from above, her boobs jiggling with your thrusts and her eyes glimmering dark with hunger.
You planted your hands beside her and leaned down more before vigorously rubbing against her. You moaned in unison, your clits rolling with ease due to your juices coating one another. Her own hips began rolling upwards while her hands wrapped around your back and clenched your skin, nails digging in and leaving marks.
"Mhmmm~ Faster Y/n! M-More!~"
She shamelessly whined, her clit is hard and throbbing, wet with arousal. You could see her body tremble and how she wriggled with the tension building in her stomach. She looked like an absolute goddess, a queen, so needy for you. Her head flew back and she wailed in pleasure before biting on your shoulder to stifle her moans, you hissed as you felt her teeth sink in and suck on your skin. You were sure a bright mark would be left, not that you minded it. If anything, you wanted her to leave more such marks.
You rutted your hips faster and so did she, your cunts were wet and messy with each other's juices, she squealed and jerked up as she came all over your cunt. You wanted to continue more and take in more of her heavenly expressions but you soon approached your own release as well and came over her. Both of you crying out in pleasure together then you fell atop her and she lovingly held you close, planting soft and sweet kisses on your shoulder and face.
Sometime later, you were lying down beside each other under the sheets. Your face was nestled comfortably on her chest while she ran her fingers through your hair and hummed softly. Both of you felt at peace and were comfortable, your arm wrapped over her waist and she occasionally planted kisses on your head.
"Y/n, I wanted to tell you something."
"Yes?"
"I....I have decided to give up the position of Supreme Guardian."
You were taken by surprise and looked up at her, "Why? Are you still—"
"No, that's not it. I feel it's the right time. It's true what I did is also weighing on me and the judgement panel will likely strip it off me anyways but....I do feel I should give it now. Bronya is more than capable, she has even seen how the Underworld is and I trust in her to make Belobog prosperous again. I don't want to hide the truth of what happened, it's okay if the people end up hating me. It's their right and I deserve it. I will accept whatever punishment is bestowed upon me and wish Belobog a happy future with their new leader."
"Cocolia....are you sure?"
"I am, and you gave me the courage for it. I'm okay with this...."
You slowly nodded as you knew she has made this decision with all her heart and there likely is no other way. You thought for a moment then an idea came to you which you weren't sure of saying but firmed yourself.
"Then, I have a suggestion."
"Hm? What is it?"
"Come with me, aboard the Astral Express. Become one of us, we'll travel together and stay with each other. I'm sure the crew will listen if I insist and I know they don't hate you, they will accept you."
Her eyes widened in shock and she wasn't sure of what to say, "Y/n....I appreciate your offer but....I can't leave Bronya alone. I can't make her bear the responsibility and just leave without offering any aid...."
"You can. You just said she's more than capable. And she has many people by her side, there's Seele, Serval, Gepard, all the people of the Underworld— I know she will be able to handle."
Cocolia thought for some time then nodded, "Alright, I'll see what I can do after the judgement. Will you wait for me until then?"
You smiled, "Of course, I will. I have anyways delayed our time of departure so might as well stay a bit more~"
"Did you not inform them?"
"I did— but I didn't foresee doing this before coming here, you know?~"
You teased making her giggle and peck your lips before holding you closely again. Time came to pass and you were back at the Express and explained the situation to everyone. Welt scolded you for leaving like that without any information while Himeko calmed the situation and accepted your request. More time passed and you heard the door of the train open, a visitor coming in.
You went to check in the lobby and found none other than Cocolia standing there with a bag in her hand, she smiled looking at you then spoke.
"May I come aboard the Astral Express and travel with everyone?"
She said intently and you smiled widely then lunged into her arms, tightly hugging her with happiness.
"I wish to stay with you from now on, Y/n...." she whispered while hugging you and you happily nodded. No matter where the journey was going to go from here, you were glad to have the woman you love beside you during it.
