Christmas isn't over until I said so

I am so WEAK for those Santa dresses I fuck with that aesthetic so hard. I am also weak for Teru in dresses.. and I'm just weak for Teru in general. NO I am NOT a simp how dare you assume that?? If you'll excuse me I'll be going back to rewatching his debut episode for the 100th time.

Also Klaus makes for a good Christmas tree. Why bother buying one when you have him right there? He's also free. This was also probably Wales' idea.

“Are you drawing a Christmas tree on me?” Brian’s question came paired with a glance over his shoulder, trying to confirm what his wife was up to.

“Definitely. It has a star on top and everything.” The sunscreen she was using as paint clicked shut and Tabby ran her fingers through her masterpiece, breaking it up to smear SPF protection all over Brian’s back.

After a long, busy year, the choice to escape south for the holiday season had been an easy one. Tabby loved the mountains and their cabin, but sometimes what a girl needed was the crash of ocean waves and warm sand between her toes. They had traded eggnog for crisp Mexican beer, roast ham for crunchy fish tacos. While Deacon sent messages to the team chat complaining about being in line at the store along with two of his kids, both of whom needed an exorcism, Tabby responded with a hug emoji, and Brian sent a snap of their view of the Pacific.

Traveling light meant leaving gifts at home to be unwrapped at a later date. The traditional bottle of whisky would keep, as would the other small things she’d picked out. Tabby did sneak one into her bag; a new Dodgers cap for the upcoming season and currently concealing Brian’s sea-mussed hair. The small reminder that home would be waiting for them after the holidays, even as Tabby tilted the blue brim up to drop a kiss on Brian’s sun-warmed lips.
