((Scott’s dad, Charlie, was not a good dad. Scott learned what kind of dad he wanted to be by being the opposite of his dad. And it turned out to be very easy for him to do that.

((Charlie’s family wasn’t a fan of him, and sometimes that extended to his wife and children. Most of the time, the Lang family was civil to Coraline Lang or Cori for short and Scott and Sadie. But it was Cori’s family that actually treated them like family.

((When Scott was four years old, Charlie got injured on the job in an accident that could’ve been avoided. To cover up for the company’s negligence, the company blamed Charlie for the accident and fired him. Despite Charlie’s attempts to take the company to court, he lost and it threw the family into financial trouble. Cori had to go back to work, and Charlie had to recover.

((The accident became a curse because Charlie became addicted to pain meds and alcohol in his attempts to cope. He became bitter and angry and hateful. He became verbally abusive, especially to his wife. His children definitely noticed but didn’t know what to do about it. Cori’s parents insisted she do something for her sake and the children’s sake. But she loved Charlie, and she believed he could come back from this if he fought for it.

((Sometimes he would and sometimes he wouldn’t. When he wouldn’t, he relapsed, and his relapses further depressed him and made him angrier. His verbal abuse extended to his children more and more, and Cori became afraid something worse was coming.

((When Scott was eleven years old, Charlie verbally lashed out at his wife, and Scott stood in defense for his momma. And in his rage, Charlie landed a blow to his son’s face. Cori shrieked and physically lashed out at Charlie as Sadie grabbed Scott and escaped out the door to their maternal grandparents’ house down the street.

((Cori survived unscathed. Charlie did not. Cori Lang left him and took her children with her, and they never heard from Charlie Lang again.))

I februar sprang hans ene korsbånd (senen i knæet), og der var tvivl om han kunne opereres eller måtte aflives. Han endte med at blive opereret, og har nu haft kronisk chicken leg i halvanden måned fordi de måtte barbere hele hans ene bagben. Det går godt nu. Dyrlægen siger at han har mindst fem gode år tilbage.

Buller synes, det har været tre fuckin lange måneder, så send ham jeres kærlighed.

The sound of deep thumps and metal clashing stopped as soon as Bucky approached the gym. Most of the team had been training. Loki in particular threw himself into drill works with his daggers. He stopped momentarily when he saw Barnes walk into the gymnasium. As did all the other men who were there.

Loki noted that only Xu and Lang were the only ones who continued their exercises. As if they didn’t need to know the outcome of Barnes’ photoshoot with you.

“It’s not me guys,” he said with the most forlorn expression. Wilson came up to him and patted him on the shoulder. Rogers just crossed his arms with a trivial look of smugness on his face.

A small bud of hope bloomed inside of Loki as Thor nudged him on the shoulder. “Ikke bry deg om de, bror. Helvete vil ønske deg velkommen raskere med all din bekymring.” (Don’t pay them any attention, brother. Hell would welcome you faster with all your worrying.)

“Peace. Peace.” Thor said to everyone else. “As you were.” But inside, Thor felt as giddy as spring maidens frolicking in the newly bloomed fields of Asgard.

Meanwhile, Nat, Wanda, and Pepper had taken you out of the tower completely to have dinner. They saw you break down. You haven’t been yourself in a while and they missed your usual joyful nature.

Pepper took you all to an exclusive restaurant where you had a private booth in the back all to yourselves. The dinner was exquisite and you were all just drinking and relaxing talking about various life pursuits.

“So, how’s the calendar coming along?” Pepper asked. “Tony isn’t overworking you, is he?”

“No. No, he’s not. He’s been very lax about it actually.” You answered.

“So why do you look like you’re so wound up?” Wanda asked sipping her cocktail.

“Well imagine, that every single day of your job, you have to fend off the advances of different men hoping to get your attention. Some of them being your closest friends and others really just breaking your heart.”

Nat snorted and gave you the side-eye. “Ok miss perfect. I get it,” you said to her.

“Why don’t you just tell them it’s Laufeyson and get it over with? You should’ve just done that from the beginning.” Nat said.

“Ok, you knew?!” You exclaimed.

“We all did,” Pepper said.

“Frankly I don’t know why it’s taking the guys so long to figure it out. It’s so freaking obvious.” Wanda chimed in.

“Which brings me back to my question. Why don’t you just say it’s him and get it over with?” Nat asked again.

“Because he doesn’t like me, Nat. He only thinks of me as a friend.” The collective groan from the three women made you cringe. “I’m not ready for that rejection.”

“You’re just as oblivious as the men!” Wanda yelled, signaling the bartender for another cocktail.

“They’re probably all in the gym right now. Working out, thinking that they need that extra muscle to show off.” Pepper giggled. “When in reality it’s the…”

“…the arms,” Nat interjected. “When you can trace that vein up his arms and rolled-up sleeves because he’s straining to keep his unbridled desire for you.”

“Or the stare. When he sees you walk into a room and his eyes darken and his jaw clenches at the sight of you and he loses all train of thought.” Wanda added.

“…the whispers in your ear.” Pepper finally finished, looking out into the restaurant, lost in her train of thought. “The sweet romantic ones of love and support. Then the dirty naughty ones when no one is watching.” All four of you tittered at Pepper’s thoughts.

“No. They’re all at the gym right now working out because they can’t understand the female gaze.”

“To the female gaze.” Nat raised her drink up high.

“To the female gaze,” you all followed.

✨ I paid for our car's maintenance this year. We had to change the spark plug and breakpads.

✨ I got diagnosed with Acute Upper Respiratory illness, 1st week ng September but I got through it, SL for 1 day lang talaga dapat but my Manager asked for a Med Cert so I had to do consultation, then yun nga haha. 3 days bedrest with antibiotics, pero I am grateful that I got through it agad. I feel so healthy.

✨ Ralph & I talked. never told anyone the full story, maliban kay Chesca & Ginnie.

✨ Built my first vintage F1 Lego that I bought sa Live Selling sa office. hahah! It reminds me of my brother because he loves cars!! and also, as an F1 driver (aka fearless driver), para sakin to. lol. anyway, I am into Legos now, I might buy 4 cars pa. Limit ko na yon. lol tinabi ko sa picture ni Lowell kasi miss ko na sya. & yes, my brother's name is Lowell. akala ko madali lang yan kasi maliit lang yan, amp naka 1 hour din ako. I might buy bigger ones (Harry Potter & Disney castle) kapag alam ko na saan ilalagay hehe.
