I really enjoy the whole parasitic fungus and host having a Symbiotic relationship not only in the sense of nutrients in return for an expanded physcial capacity and memory but also in the sense of the host teaching the fungus and treating it as if it is a child that needs to be taught. Like if you've ever read 'What Moves the Dead' by tkingfisher or hell the story its based off by Edgar Allan poe, 'The Fall of the House of Usher', the relationship Madeline has with the parasitic fungus is interesting because she treats it like a child, teaching it how to speak and read and referring to it with the Gallacian pronouns used for children. I just think its interesting and I wish more media depicted the parasite/host relationship in this way. It's also interesting that this fungi has the capacity and intelligence to learn at all, although some of it is indeed based in reality given the fact that many fungi do have some form of short term memory. It's almost motherly the way Madeline treats her parasite, and if the book by T. kingfisher was longer, they could have expanded on this even more which would have been so interesting.
Idk maybe this type of relationship is actually super common and it just flew over my head, but if it's so used, I guess its weird I barely hear people mentioning it.

I wonder who the first person William killed was.
The somewhat confusing timeline in Yuumori leads my poor math skills to conclude that Liam moved in with the Moriartys when he was around ten. We start in 1866 and end in 1879 as the grown brothers use their criminal network. At this time, Liam is 24. Given that some time has passed - Louis had surgery and has recovered - I would put him at ten at the time of moving in. Before this episode, they were street kids and at least lived in two orphanages. Liam gave tips for bank robbers, and there was the court hearing. When Albert finally saw him in the orphanage, there was his call to kill nobles.
When exactly did he first decide to kill someone? I doubt the Moriartys were the first victims. Of course, we also know very little about the lives of Liam and Louis before they roamed the streets as orphans. The only clue is Liam's letter to Sherlock, sending him to one of the poorest corners of London. They are there before in the Jack the Ripper case, and Bond's inquiry into their past lives ends with "according to William, the place no longer exists." But the orphanage is still there. Questions upon questions

alright but listen, [and beware of spoilers for the second movie] the whole HTTYD2 movie happens basically in one day, or at least in 24h. from one morning to another. meeting Eret and Stoick's death happen in a few hours timespan. Why does that feel so crazy to me?

You know, when i watch wendigoon i often hear him say "i have loss sleep over this subject" or "i genuinely find this subject to be horrifying/terrifying" which makes me think "hmm.. maybe i shouldnt?" But then remember every video of his ive watched and choose to continue watching it then leave with some excitement/enlightenment of the subject he was covering.. which has lead me to 2 conclusions... either wendigoon is a scaredy cat who likes to be scared.. or im too heady empy, flat brained to be negatively impacted long term by the video subject. Either one is equally funny to me

Tags are REALLY weird guys. Has anyone else noticed that? I had to DIG to find art I liked. Reblogging everything I find. It's funny cause stuff I see that would usually grab a lot of attention just.. isn't because it's buried so deep. And then some art just won't pop up in the tags at all. Reblogs, guys! Get stuff out there! And it's not just my art that isn't popping up. Plenty of other artists too. That's the main thing that kinda concerned me lol 😭
Anyway I love all you losers. Happy day-after-easter and I hope you've all been doing well.

So I finally read The Night Children (enjoyed it very much) and this was a very unexpected plot twist
No thought or analysis, just a genuine unexpected twist
