Thoughts on prince Riko’s “perfect court” before anyone escaped Evermore ( @thefoxesraven pls remind me if it was you with the branding vs tagging idea on that insta live)

@snazzy-jas-z-is-a-fan-of came up with SO MUCH of the possible politics and family ties of this au, it was incredible to watch and I think I finally understand enough to post about it 😂 there’s a balance of power between the two branches of Evermore royalty, which balance is shifting slowly to the Moriyamas and by the end of the story belongs solely to them with Ichirou as king. I’ll try to explain it in a different post if there’s interest

(And lest we go a day without Abram angst: he does in fact get his brand and more, when he’s taken back to Evermore and Riko takes the chance to reclaim his property ‘like he should have done to begin with’.)

some ideas from an au where maglor just keeps living in britain (/himring?)

especially in the earlier eras he had to put a lot more effort into styling/dyeing his hair to cover his ears & the blueness/Elf Sparkle. he also wore glasses for a while to dim the Treelight Eyes (because even as badly faded as he is, it's still really obvious with how old he is).

We left Loyalty's Meander at the same time our last guests did. Apparently, the horrible murder-cult vibes weren't enough to deter them, so now we have allies! That's nice, I guess.

Blackthorn learned to walk while we were road-tripping and I couldn't get this scene from Ice Age out of my head while I was trying to draw it so you just get the scene instead.

Thanks to the vehicle mod, it only took us eight days to get here, so here we are! I can't wait to see the ship!

ok ive had enough of queering judaism. can we start judaizing queerness now. or something

#like. it feels like so much of this queering judaism shtus just layers an american/secular queer identity over judaism #which i guess is fine for certain communities. but it's only going to push you away from orthodoxy #and if as queer jews we already feel like our queerness makes us into secularized outsiders in our own communities #how does this help? is trying to get our communities to embrace an essentially secular american iteration of queer identity supposed to mak #us feel LESS like outsiders? it's not quite doing it for me #we need a queerness that comes from within judaism that is essentially jewish #ive seen a couple of articles recently from ppl talking abt how word/concept of butch doesnt exist in their language & culture #but they use it anyway #& like. i love being butch. it's important to me ill never give it up #& i am american too. but my whole identity as a butch he/him lesbian is exclusively secular american it came from the outsifr #which is definitely due in large part to the fact that my Gender Problems were really tied up w orthodox jewish gender roles #so naturally to get out of that i'd pull on something not jewish. but i wish there was another option? idk if that's possible #or how it would look #maybe that's why im obsessed w the idea of a butch w long curly payos.... 😦#i forgot where i was going w this but yeah it's frustrating #this is a large part of why im wary of starting a queer Jewish club on campus bc the people who would wanna start it w mr #well no offense but they are insufferable about this #(incidentally they're also insufferable about chanukah. no surprises there)#nachi speaks #jew blogging #others have Actually written abt all this tho

Oh my god sports anime’s your characters. The socs are actually just another team and rumbles are games and any kind of tussles beforehand are like scrimmages/ mock games or whatever depending on the sport. I don’t know jack about sports but I am thinking.

Idk who coaches would be. Maybe the oldest in each group or they’re just random characters

It's so interesting that Mats Minnhagen is your favorite artist for Nevermoor. I always love seeing what cover artists people love the most! I'm a huge fan of mamefuk's stuff for the Japanese covers and am miserable that it seems we will never get Hollowpox and beyond 🥲. I'm also a fan of the Thai and Vietnamese covers as well... and the Ukranian covers have a fun, unique vibe to them too. Deeply excited to see all the different covers for Silverborn..... ‼️

mamefuk’s and the vietnamese covers are definitely close seconds! I love them so so much, they look so warm and cozy. I wish I could read either language just so I could have an excuse to buy those versions and have the art in my hands lol. The ukrainian cover is really cool too…I’m actually obsessed with the colors+character design on it ahh <33

hey @clickergossip and @becomethesun im thinking about how my preschoolers had a valentines day dance where we had parents come and dance with us to songs that the kids chose. also thinking about how how toddler sarah and ellie would definitely choose the BEST songs

the other kids are choosing songs like let it go, we dont talk about bruno, and pup pup boogie from paw patrol. meanwhile ellie chooses “we belong together” by mariah and sarah’s chooses “at your best (you are love)” by aaliyah

#maybe nobody shows up for ellie because marlene has to work #and so while every kid is dancing and having fun with their parents for the first song joel and sarah notice ellie is alone #and sarah is like daddy can we dance with my best friend no one is dancing with her #and so joel spends the rest of the dance with one in each arm #slow dances with them to aliyah and maria and does a little daddy daughter jig to upbest songs #tommy is there too but as a volunteer because he’s tryna spend as MUCH time at that school as he can #to spend time with a certain preschool teacher with pretty curly locs #so hes serving food and watching ms. maria have fun with the kids and talk with parents and play with the babies that are little siblings #during at your best you are love everyone is slow dancing with their families and not eating #so she comes over and is like ‘take those gloves off and dance with me cowboy’#he drops those tongs so fast and almost knocks over the tray of tamales he and joel brought #they dance over by the paint wall where the parents and kids dont see ;)#i really need to stop doing this in the tags #preschool au #toddler sarah #toddler ellie #tlou au #tlou #joel miller #tommy miller #sarah miller #ellie williams #girldad joel #the millers #maria miller

Man, i can't help but feel kind of bad for Nick- bro is free falling head first for a guy who is pretty obvious about his intent to keep whatever they are strictly casual. Which is not a bad thing, but somehow Nick keeps missing like every sign until he flat out says it.

It's interesting how even when talking about Nick, Boston kinda makes it about himself lmao-

here we see Nick tell Boston that he doesn't look good in photos. Boston's way of reassuring Nick is by telling him that he takes good pictures. He doesn't say anything about Nick's attractiveness even though it's a pretty easy opening.

It's not Nick specifically that makes Boston want to take the picture, or what makes him think the photo will turn out good. He just wants to get the shot because the opportunity presented itself, and it was a good pose. He doesn't only take photos of Nick, he takes photos of everyone, because he enjoys doing it. He's good at it.

Same thing applies to their FWB situation- He isn't going to only sleep with Nick, because he doesn't see the point in that kind of relationship

and sure he calls Nick cute at the end, but he probably would have just ended the conversation with it all being thanks to his own photography skills if Nick hadn't brought up being a kid with curly hair and having a makeover (which is so interesting as someone with curly hair who grew up desperate for straight hair because they thought it would make them feel less ugly lmao) (Nick i see you i understand you but you do not need him)

i also almost feel like its worse to be called cute in this situation because it's not supposed to be a cute photo; it's an alluring photo, he should be hot and captivating but calling him cute makes it just so flippant like it doesn't have the same weight. But again, it's less about the guy and more about the photo to Boston.

IDK, I just hope Nick realizes that being a favorite doesn't mean being the only one, because that is not what Boston is implying at all. And like again, it's not a bad thing. It would be worse if Boston was making it more confusing and overly complimenting him instead of being pretty straight forward about his intentions. I just also really need Nick to catch on, for his own sanity
