i was looking for a marauders era playlist, but i couldn't find one with songs made before or during the marauders era (i mean 1971-1978) and i was so sad because i really wanted to vibe to something sirius, remus james and peter would actually vibe to in the gryffindor common room.

Andromeda Black is the middle child and was born between 1951 and 1955. I personally go with 1953 so she is two years younger than Bellatrix and two years older than Narcissa.
Even though Molly Prewett was born the year before Arthur Weasley, because of the month, she was in his year (just like Hermione, Harry and Ron).
I am not sure when Barty and Evan are born, but according to my research, Regulus and Evan are born in 1961 and Barty is born in 1962 but they are only a few months meaning that they are still in the same year at Hogwarts.
It isn’t really clear when Narcissa and Lucius got married, but according to my research it happened between 1976 and 1979. I personally got with 1978 (two years before Draco is born)
Ted Tonks was born in the 1950s.
Not sure when Ted and Andromeda got married, but I’m assuming it was when she left Hogwarts in 1971. After marrying him, she was disowned and then in 1973 Andromeda gives birth to Nymphadora.
I headcanon Pandora and Evan and twins
Amos Diggory was born in 1960 or earlier.
Frank Longbottom was born between September 2, 1957 and August 31, 1959 or earlier.

Also I was looking on Etsy for marauders stuff like I found a sick band tee that I think I’m gonna get but also there’s ones with “Wolfstar 1971-1978” like… I’m not gonna wear a ship on my shirt.. in public.. where people with eyes can see. Then people who know will be like are you okay? And people who don’t know will be like what’s wolfstar and I’d have to figure out some lie and hope to god they don’t fucking google it.

I’m like halfway through with my Marauders headcanon series, so here’s my version of Sirius Black's life.
Once again, this is partly inspired by gorgeous accounts like @halfblood-princes-crown, @moonlightdancer26, and @thecarnivorousmuffinmeta - thanks to you all for the inspiration!
PS: I think there are minor inconsistencies between my Marauders hcs, such as on what exact day a specific event happens, but that’s minor and is largely because I wrote those on separate occasions and in the middle of the night. Apologies in advance.
I will also post the referenced Jily Wedding at some point (the one referenced at the end of this post).
The Marauders’s Journey - Sirius
Full name: Sirius Orion Black

In Hogwarts: 1971-1978
-he grows up with massive blood purists as parents
-had the pressure of being the oldest/heir on him and hates it like Bellatrix
-unlike her though, S rebels by not buying into the pureblood ideology
-he is on good terms with his younger brother and feels protective of him
-despite not believing in the Ideology, he does have internalised classicism
-he meets James on the H Express and likes him instantly (both are rich purebloods, both hate the Ideology)
-to him, Slytherin = bad, so when he sees Sev he takes an immediate dislike to him (Sev wishes to be in Slytherin and looks poor [internalised classicism])
-was terrified of being Sorted into Slytherin, but more than relieved to be in Gryffindor with J
-latches onto J as an escape from his awful family and because he actually likes him
-his internalised classicism makes him pick Sev as his punching bag
-likes Peter because he idolises him and J; Remus because he’s nice and helps with homework
-gets shite at home for being in Gryffindor and being friends with non-blood supremacists
-this contributes to his hatred and bullying of Sev
-R's frequent disappearances pique his interest
-when he finds out about 🐺, he is supportive but mainly sees it as a challenge and adventure (and "aren’t I such a good person for befriending an outcast")
-the longer S is in Gryffindor and has those Friends, the more shite he gets at home
-meanwhile, Regulus is now favoured as he’s in Slytherin and buys into blood purity
-all of this fosters his hatred of Sev
-he is the last person to become an animagus, which upsets him (he of course lets it out on Sev)
-he loves the adventures once a month, and focuses much more on that rather than Remus being in pain
-February 1976, he bullies Sev and when it does not have the desired effect, he tells Sev that if he wants to stop the bullying, he must touch the knot on the Whomping Willow and follow the tunnel
-he is not punished for this
-SWM
-summer 1976 he has another huge fight with his parents and for the first time they actually hit him across the face
-that is the final straw for him and he leaves and moves in with the Potters
-this fuels his hatred for Slytherin and everything Sev stands for, so S bullies him even more
-he becomes more and more aware of the war and wants to fight
-he slowly changes his mind about Lily and actually starts rooting for Jily
-tries his very best to get them together
-likes both Peter and Remus, but mainly sees them as charity friends
-moves into his own house after graduation (inherited from Alphard)
-starts auror training, but drops out after a few months to fully focus on the war
-is J's best man
-is overjoyed to be named Harry’s godfather
-R often goes on long solo missions around the time Peter starts leaking information, so S suspects R of being the spy
-S is made the Potters's Secret Keeper in 1980
-he goes on a few missions where he watches many people die
-is torn up because of suspecting R to be a spy
-in October 1981 he is on a mission with members of the Bones family (they die and S is gravely injured)
-he decides that him being SC is no longer safe (if something were to happen to him, the Secret would become weaker or at least he thinks so) and suggests P instead (since he mistrusts R who’s on another long Order mission)

Hogwarts Years For Various Characters
So, I'm getting a lot of mixed opinions on who went to Hogwarts when. Like all (and I do mean all) the adult characters going to Hogwarts with the Marauders, etc. So, I decided to do some extensive investigative work based on where the characters are in the books and what JKR said about them and their ages. If there's no information, I just looked up the actors who played them, and their ages at the time the movie was released (and when the movie is set). And yes, I will be including Hogwarts Mystery characters. Deal with it.
A few more notes, I find it extremely unlikely that half the OG Order of the Phoenix was made up of newly graduated Hogwarts students. Frank and Alice Longbottom have already made names for themselves as famous aurors by 1981, and it takes 3 years of training to become an auror. Same with Dorcas Meadows (I don't think she was an auror, but she was badass enough to be killed by Voldy personally).
As for Marlene McKinnon, Emmeline Vance, Amelia Bones, Hestia Jones, and Dedulus Diggle...
If Marlene was Lily's best friend and Sirius' lover (or even ex-lover), wouldn't Lily be more emotional about her death and say something like "I'm so sorry about Marlene. I know how much she meant to you."? And wouldn't she have mentioned her by name? "Marlene and her family" instead of "the McKinnons"?
If Emmeline Vance, Hestia Jones, and Dedulus Diggle were friends with Lily and James, wouldn't they (or Remus or Sirius) mention that to Harry? You would think that with all these "friends" of Harry's parents, going to Grimmauld Place would be like "coming home" to him.
Amelia Bones is described as having "grey hair" in OOTP, and the actress who portrayed her was 57 when Deathly Hallows part 1 was released, so she's almost 20 years older than the Marauders.

My hyper fixation on the Marauders era caused me to spend my entire evening plotting down birthdays, death days, anniversaries, and Hogwarts years of characters I often see in Marauders fics who are either misplaced in time (such as Molly and Arthur being friends with the Marauders in their sixth despite the fact that would have graduated well before then) or just need more added to them in my mind (see Marlene, Barty, any parents, etc.)

Your classmates sound nice. Why do you think I would like Remus so much? Or is it just because he does what he’s told? I’m not some teacher’s pet, you know. Mum’s always saying you shouldn’t cheek your older sister.
That brat James sounds like he needs pushing in the river. I hope your mate Severus isn’t letting him bully you or I’ll be having words. Don’t let them rub off on you. I don’t want you to come home at Christmas a different person.
I’m not going to say sorry for ignoring you because Severus really was a piece of work and I just don’t understand how you could take his side on that but I can’t stay mad at you for so long. You can tell Severus to send me a letter to apologise if he decides he’s going to re-invent himself as a decent human being.
Benjamin was asking after you today. I told him you went to boarding school in Scotland and he was really upset that you didn’t say goodbye. I gave him your address so I expect he’ll write to you. I don’t know what you’re going to tell him about the school, but he really wants to see you at Christmas. You know he gets along with you in a way he just doesn’t with the boys in my year.
He did tell me a secret though. That you went up the heap to the wheel. I won’t tell on you though because I made him take me up there after school on the bikes. You couldn’t get me to climb that thing for love nor money though. It looks alright from the street but standing underneath it I swear it was touching the sky.
The big school is same as always, though now your year’s come in I’m not a little one anymore which is nice. It’s a bit weird seeing your friends and not seeing you though - sometimes I forget you’re away and think things are like last year and I’ll meet you after school. I have to pack my things so quickly and leave early so no one catches me to ask where you are because I don’t know what I would say to them.

I didnt believe Petunia when she said youd gone to boarding school but she actually gave me the address so I suppose she must be telling the truth. I cant believe you didnt say goodbye to me. I was looking for you this whole month at school cos I didnt even know you were gone.
The address Petunia gave me was a bit weird. What kind of name for a school is Hogwarts? I cant believe youre all the way in Scotland which is pretty much like being in another country. Do you get to visit anywhere or do you just have to be in school all the time? Is it like the Malory Towers books you and Petunia used to read?
Why are you even there anyway? Why not just come to the big school here? Is it a special school like for really clever kids or what? And how come your parents didnt send Petunia? I just dont get it.

I really hope I see you at Christmas. It was nice that your sister wanted to play out with me today (she wanted to go to the heap!?) but my old mate Billy (you remember him cos he once stole your pencil) moved away to Leeds and now I kind of have friends but I dont have any really good friends. Not near where I live anyway.
Speaking of, I havent seen that boy that you used to hang around with. You know the one Petunia doesnt like? I cant remember his name it was like Slivius or something weird. But anyway he hasnt been around in ages and usually I see him all the time cos he sort of wanders in the estate but his parents had a massive fight the other day and it must have been outside in the street cos I could hear them from my bedroom window. Dunno what it was about though.
Anyway I miss you loads (even though you didnt say bye to me) and if this isnt a pretend address your sister gave me then please write back I would like to still be friends even though were far away.

Part 5/6 of my Marauders Era headcanons, and it’s about Remus Lupin.

The Marauders’s Journey - Remus
Full name: Remus John Lupin
DOB: 10.03.1960
Born in: Yorkshire
Parents: Hope Lupin (née Howell) & Lyall Lupin
House: Gryffindor
In Hogwarts: 1971-1978
-was bitten by Fenrir Greyback in February 1965
-dreads his transformation every month
-is grateful to his parents for their support
-grows up lonely, as he is afraid to get close to anyone (because he doesn’t wanna hurt anyone nor have anyone find out his secret)
-is afraid of stigmatisation
-never dreamed of attending Hogwarts, so when APWBD appears to tell him he can go, he becomes forever grateful
-initially sits alone in his carriage, but is soon joined by Peter Pettigrew
-they get along well, but R is still wary of letting anyone get too close
-meets J&S later that day in their dormitory
-he likes them well enough and supports them academically
-both he and P are happy to be included in a friend group, so they don’t stop any pranks/bullying (P because he mostly enjoys it, R because he doesn’t want to lose his first and only friends)
-he is friendly to all students, but never lets anyone get too close
-is initially horrified when JSP find out about 🐺, but is even happier when they accept him
-does not approve of bullying Sev, but doesn’t say anything as he doesn’t want to lose his friends
-is beyond amazed when JSP become animagi
-they have a lot of adventures together both during the full moon and on other days
-starts thinking about his post-school future from year 5 onwards
-WWI February 1976 - R is horrified that he nearly murdered/mauled a classmate (HIS BIGGEST FEAR) and that his supposed friend just told his secret like that
-he doesn’t realise it at the time, but he never fully trusts S again after that
-he has a brief argument with S about it, but drops it because A) he doesn’t wanna lose his friends and B) he is scared S might tell again (with whatever intention)
-this is why he lets SWM happen
-he and P are the first M to befriend Lily, especially since R&L are Prefects
-he is happy for J when Jily starts
-he initially stays with his parents after graduation, but is supported financially by J
-joins the OOTP and is often sent on long missions A) because of his skills and B) to hide 🐺 better
-is one of J's groomsmen with P
-is aware that people suspect him of being a traitor
-is initially scared to hold baby Harry, but grows to love him a lot
-the last time he sees Jily is around his birthday in 1981
-he is sent on a two week Order mission in early/mid October 1981
-he is devastated when he finds out about Jily death
-cannot believe S is the traitor at first, but since no one told him about the Switch and he remembers S revealing his deepest secret (🐺), he comes to accept that S is the traitor
-moves out of his parents's house a few years later
