Amelia/(Good Mimi) x Good Iggy Koopa?

This is a relationship that I don't think Piantissimo, Mario, Peach, Rosalina, Luigi, Daisy, O'Chunks, Nastasia, Lemmy Koopa, Roy Koopa, Bowser or even Nostradamus seen coming!!

The Prelude to the Relationship:

(Amelia has been already helped by Rosalina's star-spirit magic after she reverted to her evil-possessed personality as Mimi for the 2nd time and was made good again as Amelia.)

It started during late Part 4, Iggy (who was still a Koopaling) and Amelia were already best friends, due to how the two work together well during times of heroic duty and leisure. Both kept discovering similar interests they had in common, such as how both liked having tangerines as a snack and using their legs to hang upside down from trees. Lastly, both liked Sherbet Shy Guy's ice cream and both liked to play "Rock, Paper, Scissors" using their shift-shaping capabilities to turn into the literal objects of the game.

Plus, the two kept supporting each other whenever they dealt with the adversities of fitting in with the Mario crew as former villains. Amelia and Iggy often isolated themselves from the Mario crew whenever the crew was too unfair to them. Whenever they stayed together, despite being best friends, they subconsciously felt subtle romance towards each another.

How Amelia and Iggy fell in love:

During the beginning of Part 5 after Iggy accidentally turned himself human, Amelia saw Iggy as a human for the first time with surprise and instantly fell in love with him. On the other hand, when Iggy saw Amelia through human eyes for the first time, he instantly fell in love with her too, but he got scared of Amelia and hid under a table. Amelia told Iggy not to be afraid, Iggy shyly came out from the table and embraced his new feelings towards her.

(Due to Iggy having the mind of a human now, he found human-like girls more attractive than other koopa-girls, despite Amelia being a Beanish girl).

Iggy on the same day he fell in love asked Amelia if she would like to be his girlfriend, despite how he's really a koopaling. Amelia gleefully agreed by hugging him and gave Iggy a 3-second kiss on the cheek. She told Iggy as she hugged him that it did not matter whether he was a koopaling or human, he will always be her sweet, brave goofball. Iggy also told Amelia that she can decide whenever she would like for him to be human, whenever the spell wears off.

So yeah, I recently found out there's a free version of Photoshop called Photopea, so I've (sort of) been able to regain momentum with some older artworks I've been leaving on the backburner. Kirby Alt Headcanons

Keeby (yellow Kirby) is really playful and loves hanging out with Mario and Luigi (reference to Keeby’s color pallets being Miyamoto’s suggestion).

The red Kirby (Kabby) is a bit more defensive of its food than Kirby and it frequently drinks apple juice.

The blue Kirby (Kooby) asks lots of questions to the other fighters about human stuff, one time it ate toothpaste to see why humans use it.

The Green Kirby (Kippy) loves wearing yellow shoes and plays dress up with Isabelle.

The orange Kirby, (Kolby), likes cheese.

How I spent my Sahmain this year!!!!

I moved to a new apartment this year and I’m living on my own for the first time, so I don’t really have a defined altar space yet, so I used the dresser drawers as an altar! Even though it was a little makeshift, I’m sure that my great-grandmothers, grandfather, uncle, and best friend appreciated the fact that they got to see my new place :-)

I’ll describe everything I did in detail under the cut :-)

As for the other stuff I did: I woke up very early and baked my version of my mom’s pumpkin pie (use a graham cracker crust instead of normal pie crust!!!! I s2g it will change your life) so that I could chill it all day to perfection, and offered my loved ones the first and most perfect slice (pictured; the whipped cream is a little deflated bc I set up the altar before dinner and took the picture after).

I also made my potpourri potion, which I make every year! This year, it had the pumpkin scraps from my mini jack-o-lantern, some candy corn, water, rosé, apple juice, the zest and juice of a tangerine, a TON of pumpkin spice, vanilla extract, some red pepper flakes, and a splash of mango white claw because my best friend would’ve loved it if it had been around when he was still around.

You’re technically supposed to pour the liquid from it onto your grass after you’re done, but I live on the 8th floor so I opted for just dumping it in my sink. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Don’t think the dead minded too much! It’s the thought that counts :-)

On my altar, I went with a bunch of Sahmain-y fruits, tangerines for each deceased loved one I wanted to honor, an apple just because, and a pomegranate as an offering for Hades and Persephone to thank them for taking good care of my loved ones. I also have a bowl of candy corn, because it’s Halloween, a slice of pumpkin pie (see above, you can also ask for my recipe if you want), a white claw for my best friend, my jack-o-lantern, pictures & candles, and a tarot spread for the new year!

Death is at the center because I want one main thing from the new year: change and transformation. I want to become more like the person I’m supposed to be, and make great financial, academic, and personal moves for myself :-)

And, finally, how I spent the evening: aside from all my witchy stuff, I whipped up a nice thanksgiving-esque meal for my boyfriend and I, with publix rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese (from scratch), salad, and Hawaiian rolls :-)

After dinner, we played Luigi’s Mansion, watched Star Trek, and cuddled. All in all, a very successful Sahmain! For any recipes or more detailed instructions on any of this, just shoot me an ask :-)
