Watching S1 of Teen wolf

Episode 5

Watching alone this time, so this one is dedicated to @whowasfuckenreddieforit, since they couldnt join me.

Wowee did i shake with joy when Peter appeared at the video store. Yes i know he was a-murderin but its PetER HaLe.

As my mutual likes to say, i "scream 'Peter omg its peter' everytime a corpse shows up on screen" which might or might not be true,

I will admit, that shot with Jackie and Lyds was hilarous. The most unrealistic part: Jackie not already knowing exACTLY where The Notebook is shelved😂😂

Also Stiles Stilinski is the absolute cutest and yes, Oral Fixation stiles is one of my headcanon

Derek seems a lot calmer than i expected. Him just out here casually breaking Scott's hand and the calm in his voice when he says "It'll heal".

This man is tired of dealing with this whinny teenager, poor Scott. But Derek's face when he does it, its like he doesnt want to hurt scott but he thinks its the best way to teach him.

Also Stiles is 100% more involved and worried about the werewolf stuff than Scott, like Stiles has his priorities straight (might be the only straight thing about him lol), even though hes not even a werewolf. Like, when Stiles goes to check up on Lydia, he asks about the "Mountain Lion" business first, not at all like Scott when he needed the Wolfsbane bullet from Allison.

Kate makes me want to curl up and cry but then we immediately get some Hoechlin eye candy so i feel a little better. Also the workOUT MUSICC ISTG-

Oh no I'm crying again, because Laura deserved better. Fuck you, crazy-Peter. But mostly fuck kate. Because Peter wouldnt have gone crazy if she had just nOT BEEN A FUCKING PEICE OF SHIT AND KILLED HIS WHOLE FAMILY, CHASING AWAY HIS LAST PACKMATES WHO FLED OUT OF JUSTIFIED FEAR

And now I'm heartbroken because Derek said at the start "We're predators", about werewolves, but like Kate talking about licking Derek makes my skin crawwl amd really, she's the real predator here. Idk. Its just scary to me. You know. Cuz of the whole using-him-to-kill-his-entire-family thing.

The Scallison scenes scattered in just give me anxiety, i wanna know whats happening with DEREK AND STILES GODDAMMIT! SCALLISON WE GET IT, YOURE IN LOVE.

Stiles is just 100% main character material for this tho, he's out here trying to contact people, figure out the mystery.

MY BABY IS BEING TORTURED WITH 900 000 VOLTS AND IM CRYING INSIDE AGAIN.

Kate's voice makes me so uncomfortable, and the actress did an absolutely amAZING job at playing the villain, i want to make sure i credit her for that. She played her role remorselessly.

I really sympathise with derek, cuz even tho he's big, tough and strong, he is still just a scared little boy being revisited by his nightmares and it broke me even though I already knew all this.

Yes, before anyone asks I simped over security-cam Peter Hale. Very eerie imagery, one of the shows stronger points. The spooky parts are my fave

Oh look, MORE scallison. Im sorry it just frustrates me because their romance is one of the weakest points of the show to me, like even Jackie and Lyds as the Bitchy Duo has more flavour to me. Closeted and rude gay/lesbian solidarity, anyone?

Aw Jackie bby nooo. I know he's been a dick but hes just a sweetie, the poor kid. Just this scene of him crying and losing his cool, trying over and over and failing at getting the ball in, breaking down in the end. Too sad, and it really hit close to home.

Lydia getting her shit together was honestly motivating. This girl, i really can't handle her sometimes, but she is a queen honestly just for being able to pick herself up. At the end of the day, she trying to live in this world, she's just more viscious and and motivated to get to the top. Hearing the way her paremts spoke about her, and Lyds putting her perfect, cold, unaffected face on in the mirror made me feel like "This girl KNOWS what they must be saying, but she is sitting here with a little smile because she KNOWS she has proven them wrong". And that. That is admirable.

Also coach cupcake is the best and Sheriff Stilinski always ready to back his boy up. The similairities between Stiles and his dad has me wanting to give a standing ovation to both actors. You can just tell the characters are related in the way they speak and their facial expressions

The teacher beatin down on Mama McCall has me FUMING! SHE IS A GODDAMN GIFT. Fucking sexist- acting like she aint doing her absolute best smh.

Chris Argent trying to fight Mama McCall is funny he couldnt even for a SECOND. Like listen Papa Argent, you are hot af for an older man, but Mama McCall is my Mommy (YES I MEAN THAT IN AN INCRIMINATING WAY) and no way is your attitude helping you win me over lmaoo.

OH GOD THEY HIT THE FUCKING SHERIFF WITH A CAR.

Oop- Papa Argent just saved the day. Guess i might forgive him a lil bit for hashing it out with Melissa.

Basically I love love love Stanlon, Steddie and Kasplon so this made my entire world shake I have no idea why I’ve not heard bout it before!!

> Stan notices almost straight away and starts i wonder why, so eventually asks Eddie about it

> Turns out Eddie thinks that if he’s always touchy with Stan that Mike will be put off or will think he’s not got a chance with Stan

> Stanny thinks that’s ridiculous because he likes Eddie lots, and he likes all the time they spend together. Not being like he usually is makes him realise that maybe he likes him in ways more than how friends do…??

> He doesn’t tell Eddie that though, he’s a confused little gay bless him. This sucks because Eddie might just feel the same way about Stan, maybe he has felt that for a while

> Big old pile of confused feelings and mixed messages!! Oh lordy

> As the end of May comes around Mike has more free time and starts to hang around with Eddie and Stan a lot more, sometimes all three, other times only him and Eddie or him and Stan

> He gets to a point where he realises it really is both of them that he likes, not just one or the other

> Mike’s a pretty straight forward type of guy, he doesn’t mess about with all that guessing stuff so h decided that the best thing to do it to just tell them both

> He organises a picnic with Eddie and Stan, they have a lovely afternoon of snacks and soda and lots of laughing and happiness

> The way the three of them get on makes Mike real hopeful, maybe this could work afterall!

> As the sun sets over the farm, the three boys get the best view from the top of the big hilly fields of the Hanlon land

> Mike sighs happily and tells them, saying something along the lines of “I think I like you both, and I’m not quite sure why or how but I thought I’d let you know

> Both Stan and Eddie watch him closely and at the exact same time after a short pause say “Me too” in perfect unison

> The two of them look from Mike to eachother and have a look of surprise and excitement in their eyes. Eddie speaks up first and says “Wait really? Me and Mike!?” which is met by an nod from Stan

> All three of them are overjoyed!! It feels amazing that all their feelings are mutual

> They figure it all out sitting on that hill as the twisted red and auburn sky fades slowly into a deep purpley-blue and the stars begin to appear in clumps across the night

> They laugh and smile and talk about what to tell the others

> Nothing else seems to matter right now but the three of them and the Anciet Greek stories attached to the stars that Mike is telling them all about

> After that night, Stan and Eddie got very close again, only now it wasn’t just the two of them… Mike was always there, snuggling up or holding the hand of one or both of them

ok so being the only child and only heir to your father's company is absolute shit

you have to go to these obnoxious parties all the time and personally get to know the sponsors and partners of the company for future references

and sometimes its nice to see familiar faces

but 90% of the time its an old guy who looks like he might die any minute because their wives planned the murder

ANYWAYS, its rare to go to a party and see someone your age

so whenever you do, you always make the effort to get to know them

and one of them in particular, has been going to the same parties as you

and look who it is!! jeon wonwoo who now becomes your partner in crime whenever you guys attend the same party

and it also helps that his father is one of the closest partners to your father's company

so you guys see each other almost all the time

and it's been going on since you were old enough to grasp about financing and stuff

aka since you were 13

most of the time, you try to run away from your father's watchful eyes and go sneaking around with wonwoo if there's good snacks around

and sometimes he'll bring his best friend jun because he knows where all the good stuff is placed

no, not alcohol i don't allow underage drinking in my christian suburbs

but more like those extravagant desserts that chefs make for the restauraunts in the hotels

"wonwu, you already took 2 of those and i only took one you greedy butt >:(("

"buts its too good D:"

"fine then you'll have to ask the chef for another one since you ate the portion we were suppose to cut in half"

and it's a never-ending cycle of sneaking around and finding good places to hide from these people full of money

because all they ever talk about is growth, expansion and partnerships

and its much more interesting to listen to wonwoo's point of view

because he doesn't only talk about the positivities but also other things he have suspicioned about the other companies

like theres this one dude who only speaks to the higher ups and suck up to them

and even 13 year old wonwoo caught sight of him and told his dad about how fishy the guy was being

a year later and the man was arrested for illegal money lending

and hearing his stories are way more interesting than having to focus on just one aspect

because wonwoo CAN talk alot if its something he's interested in

so sometimes he makes references to games whenever he sees fit because its way more easier for a teenager to understand

and he's generally really nice and open-minded for a scrawny 13 year old

so when the both of you got enrolled into the same high school and knock into each other during orientation

the both of you were so delighted!!

so delighted to the point you almost screamed and embarrassed him in front of a huge crowd of a thousand people

and he doesnt look any different than the suits he wear but he looks more like his age with the uniform on

and so did you!!

from then on, the both of you introduced each other to one another's friends

and had lunch with each other's mutual friends

and it's way more comfortable than the stuffy chandelier-lit halls you've gotten used to

but the both of you agree that the melon bread sold at school tasted way more better than the desserts at the hotels

its way more simpler than having to disect some kind of sphere structure with a concocted cream in it or something

and sooner or later, your friends have come to realize how they feel left out when the both of you talk about the parties

and they don't mean it in a rude way!!

because seeing the both of you light up about a topic that you guys simultaneously had in your heads is like watching some kind of twin telepathy

and sometimes soonyoung likes to tease wonwoo that the two of you were so similar to the point that you guys might end up dating

and soonyoung says it when you're not around because that one time he did, the both of you didn't talk to each other for a whole week just to 'prove' to the others that you guys weren't alike at all

and papa scoups didn't like seeing wonu get more frustrated when they play games together at his house

and also mainly because they keep losing even if their opponents were terrible

so papa scoups did his job to give soonyoung an earful and make sure he doesnt bring it up around the both of you again

and tbh, ever since that day, you couldn't really see wonwoo in the same light again

you could still remember how he looked like when he was a quiet 13 year old

but he seemed more dashing and charming than he used to be

even in the school uniform, he looked as heart-throbbing as he did when he wears his black suit to the parties

and you just push those thoughts away because wonwoo?? the guy you nerd out with?? looks damn hot?? i dont know her

and wowee, the same goes for wonwoo

because he's finding your laugh to be more addicting even if you snort from time to times

and the way your eyes crinkle when you smile so wide and it just clenches his heart

mmm love me some best friends pining for one another

but you guys try to avoid the thoughts and continue your normal routine as if nothing happened

the both of you think you guys are doing Great™ at hiding your feelings but ooo boi

its always either one of you admiring each other subconciously

and always bringing up about the other person when they're not around

and your friends are all getting really frustrated because why aren't you guys feeding them #powercouple content??

so being the best friends that they were planned a little something

they planned that soonyoung would bring up the dating topic again but with a twist

it is for you guys to prove to your friends that the both of you didn't look good together

aka give it a damn try or neither one of you will know you airheads >:((

but of course with papa scoups permission because they wouldnt want to have to deal with a nagging old man in a teenager's body

so the plan took place during lunch and just when the both of you brought up about a past event, soonyoung brings up the topic once more

but jeonghan was quick to interrupt and add on the extra spicy details ;))

and the both of you are like "FinE but We'll sAy wE toLd You sO whEn iT doeSnt woRk oUt"

so you being competitive holds wonwoo'ss hand, startling him and turning him bright red as you turned your head towards jeonghan with fire in your eyes

"stop looking at me like that, your new boyfriend wonwoo will get jealous," jeonghan teased as wonwoo has his mouth gaping like a goldfish

and the thought of him riles him up a little but not to the point where he got really annoyed

so he simply brushed it off and confidently said that "they can do whatever they want, it's not like we're super entitled or whatever,"

and you're just like riGht you guys aren't 'actually' dating

but it wouldn't hurt if you saw it that way right?

from then on, wonwoo would try his best to surprise you with something before class, like melon bread or your favourite drink

and then he would just internally scream because he's always been doing that anyway

and walking you to your next class?? he's also done that ever since the first day of school

and he's trying to think of something else he could do to surprise you while he waited for your class to finish

but then a guy from your class walks over to your desk with a smirk grin, hand on your desk as he bends down to see you eye to eye

and you're like??? we've never spoken to each other since the term started?? what do you want from me??

and this guy just has the audacity to look you up and down like a piece of meat

and Let Me Tell You, when wonwoo saw how that guy didn't give you respect and the space that you desperately needed

he barged into the class and peeled the guy away from your desk

"what matters do you have with her?"

and the guy scoffs, sending him a side eye "who do you think you are? her boyfriend or something? the last time i heard, she was single and not dating her best friend,"

and taking advantage of his fake title, he grabs you bg the waist and brings you closer to him

"you must've heard that a long time ago. they're mine, so if you could kindly back off and mind your own damn business,"

AND EVERYONE IS OOING SO LOUDLY that the guy just staggers backwards and with that glare that wonwoo was shooting at the guy, he backs off and bows down with an apology

and he's so lucky that the class had already ended because he just whisks you away from the crowd

because he's blushing bright red and turning sweaty with all those eyes at him that the pits of his blazer might just soak through

oh boy your heart is beating so loudly that youre afraid he might hear

dont worry his heart beating pretty loudly too

and you're just so surprised by this confident wonwoo that you couldnt help but fall deeper in love with him

would it be like this if the both of you actually dated?? to be treated so lovingly by someone you loved with all your heart??

but everything soon grew awkward once again as he let go of your hand and clear his throat while you brushed through your hair

“im sorry-” the both of you simultaneously apologised, earning a confused look from wonwoo as you blushed furiously under his gaze

“what are you sorry for?” he inquired

“it’s just- you having to rescue me from that weird situation,,,”

you trailed off before wonwoo lets out a soft chuckle

“how many times have i saved you from a creepy jerk at a party? Im just doing my job as a best friend,”

and then it hit you

is that all he ever saw you as ?? a best friend ??

“wait what?”

and without you noticing, you had spilled the words and feelings you had kept for so long

“I- I’m sorry Wonwoo i dont know what got over me, just forget it. we better get to class,”

but a hand tugs you back away from wherever you were running to as your face collides into something, or someone

and a pair of arms prevents you from escaping as your surprised yelp was muffled by his chest

“Do you want this to be an actual relationship?”

and you’re speechless

because one minute he’s saying you’re his best friend and now he’s saying about making this real

“wonwoo- please I just- we’re friends and we wanted to prove we were just that-”

“then are you going to ignore my feelings? for the sake of proving to people that we don’t have something that’s obviously there?”

he spoke up, bringing you to face him as you held your breath from the short distance between the both of you

“i can already feel them saying i told you so,” you trailed off, your eyes trailing down to his lips and back to his glistening dark eyes

“at least I’m not single at the end of the day, unlike those losers,”

he chuckles, bringing your face closer to his until both your lips touch and melt at the contact

“i tOld yoU So,” a voice echoed through the hallway as you see Minghao and Jun running through the corridor, assuming that they were going to spread the good news to the rest

“looks like I have an actual date to the parties now”

and your relationship from then on was pretty much the same

except the feeling of sneaky arms around your waist when youre talking to another heir at a party and the dominant gaze you felt beside you

or the fact that wonwoo now leaves cheesy post-it notes on your favourite bread and drink when he has to rush to his own class

ps he makes sure he writes them before he goes to school because yknow the boys will never let him live if they saw those cute notes

because he’ll either write his favourite lines from books that reminded him of you or add gaming pick up lines that you may or may not understand

but you know he puts efforts in those so you always give him a peck on his forehead or his cheek to show your appreciation

because jeon wonwoo isnt the type to naturally show his affection

and because pda isnt really his thing

but dont worry because he showers you in kisses and cuddles you as much as you want when the both of you are alone

aka whenever the both of you sneak out from parties or when the both of you meet up at each other’s houses

just saying but both your parents fully support this relationship because it ensures that this partnership continues for the next generation

like they are So totally not planning your wedding already they are obv yall are so cute wtf

ive got my sun , moon , and venus in scorpio what does that mean

wowee...w the sun/moon combo you probably come off as pretty intense or mysterious, and that’s what makes you attractive in the eyes of others. these two placements together can make someone that's like “I know what I want and literally nothing is going to stop me”. when u care about something, ur heart and soul goes into it. but u also can a tendency to be too “proud” and stubborn, which can drive people away.

Hello Language, Miss! readers, mutuals, and everyone else hanging around! Anyone who has read my fanfic knows that I am neurodivergent! I mentioned this because of how I portray the reader insert at times! I don’t really talk to too many people about my experience, but this feels like a safe place for me to talk about what’s goin on in my brain!

So if you want to hear some cool brain stuff, stick around! (I find neuropsychology very fascinating!)

To begin with, I will start with the fact that I am diagnosed with ADHD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Bipolar Disorder type 2, and I am intellectually gifted. Now, you’ve probably heard about the first three, but the intellectually gifted part is what I’m going to focus on because there is a ton there!

So I have an IQ of 143, my verbal IQ is above the 99TH percentile and my visual IQ is at the 96TH percentile. This at first sounds great! Wow, my brain is capable of some cool things! Well, not really, at the moment! I have deficits in planning, executive functioning, and divided attention. The problem with this is that it is beyond a clinically significant difference from where my intelligence lies. I won’t go too deep into the math (unless someone wants to know because it’s cool!) but when you are looking at a bell curve, you look at standard deviations. If you’re within two standard deviations, that’s okay, but usually everything going on in your noggin should be somewhere within the same one. Over two standard deviations is clinically significant and requires treatment most of the time. With me? My diverse attention and planning skills are about four standard deviations away from my intellect! Wowee Zowee that’s far away!

Because of this, my brain gets overloaded incredibly fast. It’s moving at two completely different speeds at the same time nearly constantly! If I have to focus or put energy into more than one task at a time, I get incredibly overwhelmed and have the tendency to shut down. It’s also incredibly frustrating because a lot of the time I know things, and I know them really well, but either I can’t get what I want to say out of my mouth, or I can’t outwardly show my understanding, especially in school settings. It takes me a long time to complete assignments that shouldn’t take me anywhere near as long.

Another thing that’s different when it comes to this that for someone with a more typical brain, if they are doing something, they will just be using the sections of their brains needed for that task. With my brain, I’m essentially using the whole thing, all parts at all times, which also leads to being overwhelmed and overloaded. Similarly, I am incredibly good at memorizing or learning strings of information. However, my brain reaches a point where it no longer will accept new information. So, let’s say I have to learn vocabulary in school. I do an excellent job of learning and memorizing the new words and definitions. Afterwards I may have a math class. When it comes to memorizing the new formulas for the class, I no longer am able too after just exerting my memory on the vocabulary. Do I understand how to use these formulas? Of course! I’m wonderful at math! The problem lies where my brain has reached it’s max for that time period.

For a while, I felt quite stupid! I always got fine grades, but never straight A’s, like you would expect someone of my intellect to be capable of. I was frustrated all of the time because I could’nt prove what I knew, or I couldn’t find solutions to problems, and I simply just thought different from those around me. Due to the way my intellect grew asynchronous with my actual age and maturity level, it was incredibly hard to make friends, and I can be quite socially awkward and it can be embarrassing at times.

So what can I do? Is there a way to close the gap between my deficits and my intellect? Yes!!! It will be through a process called cognitive remediation! It’s super cool! What cognitive remediation will do is challenge my brain in a way that it basically rewrites itself and creates new connections. This will work to sort through the deficits I have and close that gap so that everything will lie within the same standard deviation or so, all working at the point where my intellect lies. I won’t feel so frustrated all of the time, I won’t be overwhelmed constantly, and I will be able to use my brain at its fullest potential! The therapy I will be getting will be three times a week for 20 minutes for about a year. It’s going to be a lot of hard work, but it will be completely worth it to be able to live without such stress on my brain!
