Mr. Compress is such a fun character to play around with because I can make him do basically anything and it would make sense.

He just referenced Don Quixote and made a big deal out of it when he realized nobody understood what he was talking about? Makes sense, I could see him being a literature nerd.

He was loudly explaining how to safely have gay sex to Spinner when he caught him staring at Shigaraki for a little too long? Classic Compress.

He knows a disturbing amount of communist and anarchist theory, and has been waiting for the day to apply it? Of course he has!

The only thing that would be slightly unbelievable is him being a runway model in the past. The rest of the League reasons he just doesn't have the stage presence for it.

Shiagraki knows you shouldn't find him anything but revolting. Yet you look him in the eyes and say impressive shit like he's pretty. That his eyes are beautiful or that his hands are sexy. For someone who has never felt any other kind of love than the one who takes away his peace of mind, it's puzzling. 

There's a quiet sense of comfort to your words, followed by the growing anxiety of ignoring how to react, despite desperately wishing to. At times, the worst parts of him yell that you're lying. It itches everywhere, making him uneasy. 

Even after explaining the reason behind treating him with mind-wrecking kindness is that you love him and not that he is your leader, Tomura finds such a thing more than hard to believe.

"I'm taking it off now, okay?" you say lovingly. 

Shigaraki slowly nods. Then you remove his shirt, after which he helps you peel off his pants. You help him get into the hot tub you prepared earlier. The components of this new dermatological foam you bought for him soothe the itching of his skin almost instantly. 

Allowing you to see the most intimate parts in the most vulnerable moments feels all kinds of raw. Wrong and good all at once. You're always doing soft things Tomura explicitly tells you he doesn't need, and little by little you managed to tumble down his walls. At first, it irked him. But now Shigaraki can't picture his life if you weren't there. It's as shocking as it is terrifying, and even so, Tomura is right here, letting you do this. 

"Feels good?" you ask. A warm smile draws on your face.

That question suddenly seems abstract. "I guess so," Tomura says. "It helped."

"I'm glad,” you comment lightly. “I like when you look relaxed. It brings out how cute you are."

A tickling-like sensation swirls inside his stomach. Vibrant, candid, and exciting in ways Shigaraki doesn't quite know how to process. His cheeks instantly burn bright. 

"I am not- You shouldn't lie so nonchalantly." 

You hum in response, removing a couple of wet locks from his face to take a better look. His wrinkles and damaged skin look much healthier after a couple of days of using the cream you gave him. 

"I'm not lying to you," you tell him, gently grasping his hair to wash it. "I do think you are cute.” You scanned him with your eyes, pretending to think. “Maybe it’s your nose."

“Maybe you need glasses,” Tomura thinks out loud, stunned. 

You give out a small laugh. It’s light, soft, and soothing. You lean, gazing into Tomura’s eyes with such a loving look he almost feels out of place. “Hmm, yep, it’s definitely your nose. It’s quite boopable.” 

“How about you finish what you started instead of saying nonsense?” Tomura says, barely holding himself together due to embarrassment. He passes you a soft hypoallergenic sponge.

“Fine, fine. You don’t need to be grumpy,” you tease.

“I am not grumpy,” he tells you, narrowing his eyes. 

"Is the water temperature okay?"

"It's fine." 

You begin washing his chest, massaging his shoulder with your free hand. Shigaraki sighs, leaning back against the tub as he lets his head fall back. There's a moment of silence after that. 

You decide to massage both shoulders, squeezing his points of tension. Tomura’s muscles were rock hard, as it couldn't be otherwise after all the sleepless nights fighting machia, not to mention all the re-Destro drama.

You sigh. While you admire what he does, it's painful seeing him hurting. So you do your best to sweeten up Tomura’s spare time the best you can. And it pays off fairly well, as Shigaraki often thinks it’s only during these moments between you that he can forget everything. 

When you caress his cheek, Shigaraki glances at you before poking under your eye with a single shaky finger.  "Seems like you could keep something inside those bags."

You gape, covering the place he touched with your hand, utterly offended. Your expression seems to be funny to him.

"Rude."

"No. I'm just saying you're tired too, aren't you?" Tomura reasons, “I’m fine. You can go rest.”

“I don’t need resting,” you retort as you keep washing him off. “I’m okay.”

“Don’t contradict your leader,” he says in a bantering tone. “Go. Get some rest.”

“You’re more than the leader to me,” you voice, giving Tomura a sweet smile. “You know that, right?”

You hold his face sweetly. “ I want to take care of you and I want you to be okay because I love you. So you better get used to this.”

There it is again. The type of affection Shigaraki doesn't understand, yet he feels it bubbling in his guts. And it's so fucking good he can't help being eager for more. Suddenly, he gives two fucks if you're lying. Shigaraki clings to your words, and it's now clear on his mind that he's never letting you go.

"Fine, but I won't be selfish this time." 

You quirk a brow.

 Shigaraki holds your wrist with only three fingers. "Get in the tub with me."

All you can do is blink at him, perplexed. "I- I don’t think that’s good for your skin." 

"It's fine. It's not itchy anymore." Or at least not as much.

He's dead serious. You can tell by the look in his eyes.

“Are you sure?” 

“Yes.”

The second you start stripping, Shigaraki glues his gaze to the wall as if his life depends on it. He wants to make sure you know he didn't do this because he's some kind of creep. It's about reciprocity. 

He notices then that this is the first time he's allowed you so close to him. The prospect of sharing something so intimate tickles his tummy.

You press your back on the opposite side of the tub, letting out a sigh of relief as the warm water soothes you. "Ah, soo nice!" 

You gaze at Tomura, who's looking at you with a glow you’ve never seen in his eyes. Would it be okay to stretch the limit a bit? You bet on it.

"Come here," you tell him while opening your arms to him. 

Shigaraki grimaces. "How?" 

"Press your back to me, and relax. I'll keep massaging your shoulders."

Tomura tilts his head. "The point of this was even things up."

"There's nothing to even up." you retort, "But if you want to do something for me, just come here." You stop in your tracks at the sound of that sentence and hastily add, "Only if you're okay with it!"

Tomura mulls it over for a second before he motions up. "Don't look."

You grin, "No, sir." You cover your eyes with both hands and only open them when you feel his back trying to settle against your chest. Shigaraki winds up resting his head over your shoulder as you embrace him from behind. 

You kiss the top of his head.

“I don’t hate this,” he grants. It sounds as if he just realized it.

You had first met Spinner at one of your gigs. Him and Mr. Compress had gone out since out of everyone within the league, it was the safest for them to have fun and let loose

When you first saw Spinner, you tilted your head in curiosity and even sent him a drink after your gig.

At first, Spinner was flattered but didn’t entertain your advances because of A) his line of work and B) his appearance. Eventually, Mr. Compress had convinced him to at least meet you.

You two met after one of your late night gigs, when people were more inebriated and it was frankly easier to meet up. And to Spinner’s surprise, you two hit it off extremely well.

Your PR team had done their best to keep you up to date with all the villain attacks, but Spinner somehow went unreported to you. (Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows? 😉)

After hitting it off, and a few home dates with Spinner (at your home because let’s be real, even if you like him you still don’t want to be too careful with strange men) you two officially became a thing!

Spinner was over the moon when it happened! This boy started dropping off flowers every so often and even writing little messages like “be safe” “thank you” “drink water”

On the rare night off spinner had, you were working. Originally, you told him to stay home and rest and take it easy. But Spinner knew what kind of people lurked in the shadows and he wasn't going to let you go out alone! What kind of boyfriend would he be?

He knew you were a type of performer, but he didn't know what you did. So, after you left he put on a jacket and a hood to cover his face and went to the bar you worked at

You worked as a bartender when you weren't performing and you spotted Spinner the moment he walked in.

"I told you to stay home and reest, didn't I?" You said as he approached the bar and ordered his usual.

"And miss my girlfriend performing tonight? Not a chance," he said with a sincere smile. He never failed to warm your heart.

You talked with him for a few moments before you manager told you it was time to perform. You gave Spinner a kiss on the cheek before going up to the stage.

You smiled warmly at the crowd who cheered and clapped for you. You did your small opener of greeting everyone and asking if they were having a good night before your guitarist began the song.

Spinner was surprised to hear the guitar play but what shocked him was your voice. It was soft and gentle with a slight southern twang that hypnotized the crowd. You voice carried through the bar and it seemed like the whole world faded away.

Spinner was sitting with his mouth wide open and his eyes wild. He couldn't believe you were a singer, and a great one at that! He swore his heart actually melted in his chest when you made eye contact with him and smiled as you sang.

He could listen to you for hours as you sang. He wanted nothing more than to listen to you sing for the rest of his life, but his thoughts were interrupted. y the cheering of the crowd around him as you finished your first song.

As you continued to sing and gain confidence as the set went on, Spinner found himself falling even more in love with you. you moved around the bar like you owned the place and made each person there feel special and seen.

You ended your st with Jolene by Dolly Parton and gods, Spinner nearly fell out of his chair listening to you.

When you were finished, you went up to Spinner with a sheepish grin and asked what he thought. It took him a minute to compose himself but when he did, he wrapped his arms around you and spun you in the air. The nearby people smiling at the display.

"That was amazing! You are incredible!" Compliment after compliment until you were sure your face was beet red and even then he didn't stop.

He was almost hurt that you kept this part of you hidden from him, but that didn’t last long as you promised to sing around him

From now on, you sung more around Spinner. Humming a tune in the kitchen as you cooked, at your desk as you did some work, in the shower where you had amazing acoustics.

Spinner was drowning in your beautiful voice and he was over the moon with happiness. He loved your voice so much, and loved you even more

The problem with the League’s relationship is that they don’t see past whatever “goals” they present to each other. Take Tomura for example. The League never seemed to question or even care about his horrific upbringing/weird relationship with AFO. They do, however, care for and respect his goal to destroy society. But we all know that his “goal” was just a trauma response AFO forced onto him, a goal that has/will end up destroying Tomura’s true self. The League doesn’t see that though, because they all share this self destructive goal and see it as the only way for them to fit in to society. This is why they need the hero kids to help them. They all need somebody to show them that the destruction of society isn’t going to help them, that all they truly want is to be loved and accepted. The League members simply can’t provide this for each other cause they’re all fucked up in various ways

Some theories about Compress' character and past

The end of the manga is near, he was shown looking particularly sad in the panel with Geten. If you think about that it's kinda weird that he has that expression when he's usually sarcastic and arrogant even in bad situations.

I know that he wore the mask during 99.9% of the manga but idk, I don't think he has ever shown that much emotion. C'mon look at him, he looks like a small puppy who didn't get his treat😭

I have this theory that he is actually a sad person with a sad past and "hides it" behind his sarcastic villain persona, the "mask" metaphorically speaking.

THAT'S WHAT THE MASK IS

The scene in the anime where his dad talks to him, telling how "the blood of bla flows bla" makes canon the fact that he was born just for the sake of keeping the "bloodline", making him a villain since he was a kid, not like Shig, Dabi or Toga who were traumatized.

So then why does he say this to Deku? Something about "choosing your future" as you want to... while he is actually the one who didn't have many options.

Also we all know he is an ex - entertainer

And how he loves magic and was poor af. Maybe he really only had his father and maybe he died when he was young, making Atsuhiro a young teen/man who lives by himself in the streets. That would also explain him being responsible, mature and more serious than the others. He had more experience, apart from being 32.

I think he didn't want to be a villain in the first place.

That's why he says to the younger people to follow the path they want to, not the one the others told them to.

Or maybe it's just his rebellious nature, he is still a villain after all.

But I like to think that his dream, the path he wanted to follow was being a magician.

To add something else to the theory there's also some scenes where he says that he doesn't really like violence and doesn't steal if it's not a necessity.

Now I don't want to search for every one of them cuz I'm lazy but this one sums up what I just said.

Oh and also when he says this to Bakugo

I'm going to be honest, I wasn't going to write about the leaks in this chapter (I still like to see more leakers posting about this, especially those I trust the most), but if there is something more obnoxious than the shipper discurse, that is the men discurse and the way in which they interpret the characters in shonen, because believe me, shonen is a genre where the worst takes by men on characters are concentrated, especially when you talk about the side emotional. Seriously, many men have not left their edgy child phase who believes that the world is horrible and that the characters have to see reality, etc., outside of the children/teenagers who watch the shonen genre more than anything for the fights, etc. many men who literally have hundreds of followers who analyze the stories as if they were experts on the subject, from the most toxic masculinity perspective.

Also, in all the previous chapters I wanted to do an analysis about Tomura and Izuku but no matter how much I wanted, the words didn't come, these leaks plus certain comments managed to unlock my words.

I'm going to start with Tomura because he's the birthday boy. The takes I have read of this character throughout the manga, especially outside tumblr and by men, are terrible, however nothing compares to the comments after these leaks, from people saying that it was great because his character didn't deserve redemption, that at the end was nothing more than a puppet of AFO and therefore his construction doesn’t matter or not exist because Tomura for them didn’t exist outside as an object for AFO, etc. One of the insights that chapter 418 left is that Tomura/Tenko has never made a single decision in his life and that his path has always been marked and signed by AFO. Those words remained in the minds of the readers and were validated by the fact that the origin of Decay was made by AFO and even Tenko’s birth was planned by AFO, because again AFO is the villain of  thousand plans and is in every step. Seriously, Tenko was only born to be another pawn in AFO's game, because according to the leaks AFO created him and therefore even Tomura's decisions are only a permitted ramification of what AFO wanted him to feel and think.

However, it’s a damn lie, it doesn't matter that AFO was a starting point for Tomura, his ideas, his relationships with the LOV, are HIS. It’s that he chose, not for nothing his last words before of being swallowed by AFO were "even if all my hatred fades and only an empty shell remains, I must still be a hero for them (the villains/his LOV)” it’s the first time since the final battle began that Tomura looked closer to peace and his words were reflected in being a hero for his people, the helpless who are abandoned by society. The decay's "awakening" was a traumatic event that was exacerbated for Kotaro, who beat his son and instilled fear in him, not for nothing Tenko was having a breakdown when his quirk "awakened", he didn’t want to kill Mon-chan, his sister, his mother or family, he was a scared child who just wanted to reach a safe place. The only death where Tenko could say that he has a minimum will is with Kotaro but ignoring the context is a mistake.

It’s not innocent that during the fight in the fortress Tenko would have felt more violent and resurfaced when he saw how all the heroes around him gave their lives to revive bk, we have him screaming "why no one helped me when there was still time, when I wasn't that broken yet" (not exact words but a paraphrase), Tenko was still there fighting against AFO, Tenko never disappeared no matter how hard AFO tried to quell him, the pain of a society that ignored him formed his vision of a heroes society like something rotten, the vision of All Might as the hero who shapes a society that hides everything among shiny things but forgets those that the heroes ignore or not fit in.

Because something that we can’t ignore that the society that gave rise to villains like Tomura and even AFO, is an apathetic and cruel society to people that doesn’t fit. We can argue that beyond all the things that AFO has done, perhaps he wouldn’t be what he is now if he had not grown up in a society that had just discovered the quirks and saw some of them as monsters and others as something to worship (he kills the shine baby because he was praised), society is so apathetic that it ignores or encourages a cruelty that creates its villains and then is surprised by it. Tomura is also the result of those people who saw a child walking in the streets in shock and stained with blood and passed by and when a single person approached him, just looked at him and said well the heroes will take care of it, leaving him alone. Maybe nothing would have changed because AFO already had a plan for Tomura but the apathy of that society that prefers to ignore responsibility (I'm not talking about citizens having to enter burning buildings replacing professionals, but doing small things, helping people in a small way example helping a lost child, etc). A society that was happy with someone like All Might protected them but when he began to fail and couldn’t take his place turned their backs on him, the same citizens who are seeing children fighting a war and the only thing they think about is losing faith when the results are adverse or when they had to give a safe place to civilians like them or heroes like Deku.

It’s this society that Tomura wants to destroy and it’s understandable because, we can discuss whether the way Tomura wants to do it is correct or not, but let's not deny that Tomura gave a place to people that society pushed away because they didn’t fit in and that he wants protect. What I'm trying to get at is that everything that shaped Tomura and his decisions to create the LOV are his decisions, he isn’t a puppet and his vision isn’t to be a pawn just because AFO gave him his quirk, his vision of society isn’t wrong, Tomura chose his path, he chose his people.
