🌙 MOON - what is your oc's greatest wish? how far are they willing to go for it?

I think that deep down, Cal just wants to be accepted. But "how far are they willing to go"? Not too far. They want to be accepted for who they are, not some other version of themself.

🙈 SEE-NO-EVIL - whats a side of your oc that they don't want to show other people?

Cal is rather impulsive, and not always the best with her words. Her words can come out the wrong way especially if she's not watching herself when she's angry. (And if she's angry enough to yell, well, she will not be watching herself.) That's something she really doesn't want to inflict on others, especially loved ones.

🌈 RAINBOW - what advice would they give to their younger self?

"You don't need to change to be loved."

💘 HEART W/ ARROW - what traits do they look for in a relationship? do they believe in love at first sight?

Cal isn't generally looking for a relationship. They go with the flow, and if things evolve into one, then that's great, but it's not usually the initial goal that Cal has when hooking up with someone. So by default, generally the first thing they're looking for is sexual compatibility.

Other than that, someone who can make them laugh and who doesn't mind them being incredibly touchy-feely, someone who will be their partner in crime, who doesn't judge them or try to change them or talk down to them, someone who understands them and how they operate. Someone who likes to try new things with them, who'll come on adventures with them.

Cal wants to be able to be themself, and wants to feel loved and be adored by someone who they can cherish in turn.

To no one’s surprise, tswift was my top listened to artist because of folklore. This song makes me think of Helia and Rue. I see Helia in these lyrics “there goes the last great American dynasty/ Who knows, if she never showed up, what could've been” because she really shakes up MACUSA and the American pureblood high society circles by just being Helia, self-possessed and soft-spoken and taking no shit. Rue is definitely the lyric She had a marvelous time ruining everything, referencing how she quietly literally ruins all of Dumbledore’s careful plans. 

50. Stay Awake by London Grammar 

THIS SONG. I don’t know why it isn’t higher on the list I swore I listened to it way more times because this is Peak Rue/Tom™️. Literally, their ship tag comes from the first verse. I am the blank page before you/ I am the fine idea you crave. The second verse tho, unparalleled in how perfect it is for Rum. 75. Shrike by Hozier 

Okay, so the theme of rebirth, while not quite resurrection but in the same vein, makes me think of Brynna, and therefore her relationship with Klaus. The second verse in particular: All of that goodness is going with you now/ Then when I met you, my virtues uncounted/ All of my goodness is going with you now. The idea of losing his goodness alongside his love, as if her dying/leaving has taken his heart/humanity with her very much fits Klaus and how he changes in the absence of Brynna.

@lorettastwilight aha so. Emsy was always supposed to be a Scott replacement. BUT since I was reading a bunch of reborn as so and so and need to survive mangas and specifically read Scumbag Villain Self Serving System, I did briefly entertain the idea of having an oc dropped into Kate Argent and try to sort out the mess without getting killed by Peter

But that was a mess of an idea bc it'd be post Hale fire and idk how said oc would be able to convince anyone that she isnt the same Kate that killed everyone 😬
