WHAT I FIRMLY BELIEVE THE HQ BOYS' CANONICAL FAVORITE DRINK (AND SOMETIMES FOOD) ORDERS ARE WITH LITTLE TO NO EXPLANATION

SAWAMURA DAICHI - regular hot drip coffee, probs with a bit of ordinary cream/milk

SUGAWARA KOSHI - iced brown sugar oat milk latte with light ice

AZUMANE ASAHI - a bottle of apple juice but then he gets laughed at so he puts it back and orders a hot honey citrus tea

NISHINOYA YUU - grape frappuccino with extra whipped cream and pistachios on top

TANAKA RYUNOSUKE - bro gets a chocolate croissant and an iced water usually, but sometimes he'll get hot chocolate with extra whipped cream and a warmed cheese danish with strawberry jam on top on the side when he's in a good mood

KAGEYAMA TOBIO - blueberry milk tea latte with cheese foam and tapioca is his fav but sometimes he can't speak properly and just orders a cup of steamed milk

HINATA SHOYO - strawberry acai refresher with extra berries and one of those cheese and grapes and crackers boxes

TSUKISHIMA KEI - hot oolong tea with honey usually, but he'll also get the occasional twice-a-year java chip frappucino

YAMAGUCHI TADASHI - vanilla creme frappucino

KUROO TETSURO - hot black coffee

KAI NOBUYUKI - hot hazelnut soy milk latte

YAKU MORISUKE - peach green tea (switches if he wants iced or hot based on mood and weather) with 2/3rds of a sugar packet or half a pump of cane sugar

YAMAMOTO TAKETORA - prides himself in having never gotten an overpriced cafe drink

KOZUME KENMA -large strawberry creme frappuccino with extra extra whipped cream, extra strawberry syrup, extra freeze-dried strawberry powder, and an extra pump of simple syrup

FUKUNAGA SHOHEI -lemon tea (changes if he wants iced or hot based on his mood)

INUOKA SO - mango dragonfruit refresher with strawberry base, light ice, extra dragonfruit bits

HAIBA LEV -says"i'll take whatever your favorite drink is!" then records it, and doesnt give it to the worker and just keeps it (he never understood the vids where they would give it to the worker. hes just like bro why'd u order it if u werent gonna drink it)

SHIBAYAMA YUKI - strawberry frappucino with extra freeze-dried strawberry bits

OIKAWA TOORU - vanilla creme frappucino or iced sugar cookie latte in the winter (will scream at u if u call him a basic white girl)

Okay I've been meaning to do this for ages so here we go woo !!

Also before we start I'd like to say I'm probably biased bc of my ships and also projecting lmfao

Sorry if you think I'm pushing identities onto characters too !! they're just hcs and it's entirely possible i went too far lmfao

Hinata Shouyou - pansexual (I think he'd just date who he wants to date tbh) also maybe trans, he/him pronouns

Kageyama Tobio - gay and demiromantic (he probably never thought about romance bc he never felt attracted to anyone that way but then he forms an emotional bond with someone and woo), he/him

Tsukishima Kei - gay and demisexual (I feel like he'd think he's ace but then he'd realize that he's demi ??), he/him

Yamaguchi Tadashi - bisexual (he gives such bisexual energy I don't think anyone disagrees) also he/they pronouns

okay so i lowkey had trouble w this one like i’ll write for a really good libero but u said the boys and whenever i see that i just automatically assume it’s karasuno but if you meant other boys don't be afraid to tell me LOL !

you were talking about receiving one day and some short kid ran up to you and asked if you played volleyball

after that moment, you and nishinoya became bffs

you played for the girl’s team but the boys never had the chance to see you play & vice versa

until one day you visited them after one of your practices ended early

ukai asked if you wanted to join their practice game for shits and giggles and u were like eh what the heck

you watched asahi run up to ball and slam it down on your side of the court

you made a perfect pass to sugawara before it hit the floor tho

the boys are a little shook that you moved quick enough to get the ball

“c’mon ace! i know you can hit harder than that!”

haikyuu general headcanons from my sleep deprived ass

hEy this is sleep deprived me who is in in the verge of crying AND ready to go party and rob a bank

yes my kids, it's weird feelings time

ANYWAY here i suppose i'll write both angsty and fluffy and crack headcanons because i really don't know what's happening anymore

me after writing this: nope, it's all crack and fluff my guys. no angst. i couldn't bring myself to make myself more sad lmaoo

warnings: the first part is set on 2012, hence why kenma doesn't own a wii, not a switch. also there's manga spoilers but i out a warning before it heheheh

also not proof read and written while being really fucking tired. it will probably not make sense

general random headcanons

– akaashi wears clip hair locks when he has to study

– kunimi smokes weed like everyday. he'll be in class and his brain will be on another galaxy thinking about his donkey who happens to be actually a dog who happens to actually not exist. completely permafried but somehow keeps a gpa of 3.8 (in spain we don't have gpa but we have average mark which is the same lol)

– bokuto is really really good at physics. probably recites the three laws of newton while spiking and his serve routine includes him replaying the boyle laws on his mind. probably the reason why kuroo and him get along so well. kuroo prefers chemistry so they have this inside argument where bokuto hits him with his physics fats while kuroo just yells compounds and their nomeclature

– oikawa has a cat. that's it. that's the headcanon.

– makki and mattsun have the dumbes longest pet names for each other. "i love you so much, you meme of my computer, bread of my cheese, ass of my chair, you little silly beautiful brow man with the longest muscliest most tanned and amazingest arms in the world" "oh, is that so? i of course love you more you pink creampuff with no other reason of existence than to be beautiful even with that peach haircut, incredible man i'd 100% recommend 5 stars on booking, 5 of 5 in every stat, wig snatched, my pores cleared, hotel trivago" "please shut the fuck yo the both of you"

– washio: snowy owls. he just loves how they are. loves all of his aunt's owls tho.

– onaga: short eared owl. mainly because they remind him of someone *cough* komi *cough* and he just laughs everytime he thinks about it

– sarukui: northern hawk owl. just because.

– suzumeda: another sucker for snowy owls. she loves their name and their colour. and also because they remind her of yukie. which is a plus

– yukie: none in particular really. but her favourite owl in washio's aunt backyard is a verreaux eagle owl.

– kenma doesn't have a wii because not a lot of his favourite games are available on it. but he's saving for a ps4 since it's coming soon and his ps3 is kinda on the edge of dying of overuse

– the first time hinata had to go to karasuno was also the first time he actually rode a bike and he almost crashed with around twenty cars lmao

– on his second year, kageyama invited the second years to his birthday (hinata yamaguchi yachi AND tsukishima, not tanaka noya ennoshita narita and kinoshita lmao) and tsukishima DID go. he kept saltying over everything but after that, he and kageyama got aling wayyy better. (though the bantering enver stopped)

– akaken headcanon that they sometimes study together if a training camp is near finals week. akaashi is real bad at english and kenma has 0 brain for history

– kenma does actually own a house in roppongi hills, but didn't tell kuroo until the bedheaded went to bring kenma food and found out the house had been destroyed and was now being used as a gardening school

Since you’re taking in Kiyoko requests what about the team finding out she has a boyfriend (or s/o if you want it gender neutral) and they’re just... protective lmao. But the guy is just such a good guy they can’t not like him lmfao thanks! Hcs or scenario works !

I do think the majority of the time would be a bit wary of her partner but eventually they’ll come around. It will however take different amount of time for each Karasuno member so that’s why I separated it into 4 different categories.

The majority of the team;

Daichi, Suga, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Kageyama, Ennoshita, Narita and Kinoshita.

They’re the reasonable ones.

All of them expected it because anyone could tell that you and Kiyoko were really close.

Suga might be a bit cold at first, but that’s because he’s just looking out for his friend. He want to make sure that her boyfriend is a good person.

Once he started getting to know you he ended up warming up to you quickly.

All in all, these people would be happy for the two of you when you make it official.

Since Daichi has been friends with the two of you for so long, he wasn’t sure who he was supposed to give the “hurt them and you’ll pay” talk.

So he ends up giving it to you both.

Asahi and Hinata

They’d be pretty dense and would need some time to figure out that the two of you were more than just friends.

It wasn’t until they saw you and Kiyoko hold hands that it became crystal clear that there was something more going on between you two.

The two of them would be more worried than happy for her at first though.

Like Suga, they just want to make sure that you are a good person.

You did get along with Hinata pretty quickly.

Asahi on the other hand took a bit longer to convince.

His gazes does make you a bit uncomfortable, since Asahi can get a bit intense without realizing it.

But there was no denying it that you made Kiyoko happy.

So he would eventually come around and the two of you would actually end up becoming friends.

Tanaka and Nishinoya

Now these two.. These two were not having it at ALL.

Although the rest of the team was wary of you in the beginning, they eventually came around.

Tanaka and Nishinoya on the other hand are NOT that easy.

They would stick to Kiyoko like glue and would not let you come near her when you visited for practice.

I can see both of them trying to quiz you on what you know about her – trying to prove that you are not worthy enough.

If they go too far Kiyoko will speak up.

However you won’t let it faze you at all. (At least on the outside.)

Tanaka is the first one to realize that you’re indeed, a decent person. But you won’t hear him admit it.

It wasn’t until the event where you for once were able to speak with Kiyoko during practice and a ball came aiming towards her.

You know she can easily push it out of her way herself since she’s used to it, but for some reason your body moved on it’s on.

Which ended up with you getting smacked right in the face by one of Asahi’s killer serves.

Ever since that incident, although they still get protective from time to time, both Tanaka and Nishinoya came around and gave you their blessing.

Anyone who would put their body in danger for Kiyoko was truly a great candidate as her partner.

And let’s face it, with you and Yachi’s forces combined, the two of them were able to see Kiyoko with a big smile on her face way more during practice.

Yachi

Would be absolutely devastated.

Okay joking aside let’s face it she would already know everything about you before the two of you would make it official.

Since Kiyoko rely on Yachi and see her as a dear friend she had already long ago confided in her.

Like way way way waay before when the two of you were still in your awkward stages.

So she was the least surprised out of the entire team.

Yachi would be a bit protective as well — she would actually put herself out there for Kiyoko’s sake and ask around about you in school.

She would also secretly check on how you act to make sure that you were a decent person.

Okay, so imagine Tsukishima having to need a pet sitter for his adorable little red corn snake while he and his family will be going on their annual family vacation, and usually he’d ask Yamaguchi to pet-sit, but guess what!! Yamaguchi is joining Kei’s trip this year, so Tsukishima has to find a replacement while he’s away for a couple of days.

Tsukishima’s next best option would be to ask either Daichi or Suga, since they’re ya know, responsible, (Asahi had blacked out a bit when Tsukishima told him exactly what he’d be feeding the snake) but they had prior agreements and weren’t available that week.

Tsukishima had even asked Ennoshita, but he too was busy that week wrapping up a film he had been working on. Both Narita and Kinoshita also weren’t available that week since both of them were on set helping out Ennoshita with the final scenes.

Ennoshita then suggested Tsukishima to ask either Tanaka or Noya (since they are, by default not by choice, the next unfortunate choices next-in-line) but just the thought of those two in a room with his precious pet were giving him heart palpations. Just no.

Same thought and emotions were going through Tsukishima when Yamaguchi suggested either Kuroo or Bokuto since, “you have their numbers, so why not? And since they’re adults - technically and it’s only for a couple of days? What’s the worst that could happen?” Tsukishima had to sit down for a second for that one. Who knows what Tsukishima would come home to. After his interaction with them during the Training Camp, he certainly did not want them in his house, especially in his room.

Akaashi was the next best option, but Tsukishima didn’t want to burden Akaashi to travel almost 2 hours daily.*

Yachi unfortunately couldn’t pet-sit either only because she was just too nervous in case something went wrong! Despite Yamaguchi’s reassurance that she’d only be feeding Tsukishima’s snake twice out of the week, and only be changing the water and checking the temperature and the humidity, Yachi still felt that she’d rather have someone experienced watching over the animals just in case.

The last two people left to ask were Kageyama and Hinata and while Tsukishima did trust those two (to an extent lmfao) he wasn’t too sure if they’d be comfortable to pet-sit a snake for a couple of days. It might have been easier to convince them if Tsukishima was asking either of them to pet-sit a more common household pet (ex: cat, dog, fish, etch) but to his surprise, Hinata was oddly super excited and okay with pet-sitting his snake.

Hinata was practically bouncing off the walls when Tsukishima revealed that in fact, it was a snake that needed care while he was away. “Ooh! You have a pet snake! That’s so cool! I always wanted one but my little sister is scared of them!”

Kageyama had been silent and when Yamaguchi had asked him what was wrong, Kageyama shyly asked if he would be allowed to come over and see the snake since he too was fascinated.

Tsukishima doesn’t mind as long as long as they both make sure his snake is well fed that week and well cared for. He invites them both over that night so he can go over exactly what needs to be done and to teach them how to carefully handle a snake.

Both Hinata and Kageyama are fascinated when they walk into Tsukishima’s room and notice a huge 50 gallon tank set up right across his bed. They both look at each other and wonder what kind of snake Tsukishima had that needed a 50 gal tank. Was it a python? Anaconda?!

Nope, Tsukishima gently pulls out a pale yellow corn snake, it’s tail happily wrapping around Tsukishima’s forearm and tongue flickering in and out.

Hinata can’t help but gasp in excitement at the snake. “He’s gorgeous!”

“She’s gorgeous.” Tsukishima corrects as he adjusts his arm so it lays flat for the snake’s sake. “Her name is Serpentas and she’s a corn snake.”

“A Snow corn snake actually!” Yamaguchi pipes, since he’s also well-versed in snake facts. “She’s only a year old and she’s still growing!”

Tsukishima notices Hinata and Kageyama eying the snake in interest and it shows on their faces. “If you want to hold her, you need to go wash your hands first.”

Both Hinata and Kageyama rush out of his room at the same time, trying to hold back each other to reach the sink first.

When they both return, they’re still pushing each others’ shoulders to see who would hold the snake first. At this point Tsukishima just wants to sleep and he needs to pack, so he has them both reach out their palms so he can gently lay her on them.

Tsukishima gently coxes Serpentas to untangle herself from Tsukishima’s fingers who then slowly moves to rest on Hinata’s palm. When Tsukishima elevates his whole arm, the snake slowly slides to the next palm, which is Kageyama’s.

“She’s warm!” Hinata whispers as his eyes dance between the snake and Kageyama. “She feels so weird! It-it feels like the garden hose in my backyard! A warm garden hose!”

Tsukishima:

“A what now? Please don’t call my snake a garden hose.”

At this point the snake had curled it’s tail on Hinata’s thumb and it’s body on Kageyama’s pinky finger and was now just relaxing on their hands.

Yamaguchi snickered at how Serpentas had coiled herself through their fingers, locking them both together. “Aw she likes you!”

After a couple of minutes of holding Serpentas on their hands, Tsukishima decided it was enough and took her back to her enclosure.

“Well, here’s an outline of exactly what to do, and what to feed her, etc. Text me if anything happens. And if something ever happens to her, it would be a shame if something happens to your precious volleyballs… Anyways, see you tomorrow at school.”

“SCARY!!”

*Karasuno High (Japanese: 烏野高校 Karasuno Kōkō) is a high school located in Miyagi Prefecture. Fukurōdani Academy (Japanese: 梟谷学園 Fukurōdani Gakuen) is a high school in the Kanto region. (Approx. 2-3 hours by train)

Hope this turned out fine!! I suck at naming pets (this is a girl that named her fish BEAN, so i apologize if “Serpentas” isn’t that original ! (Serpentes is the scientific name for snake) but I doubt Tsukishima would name his pets ‘noodle’ or something LMFAO
