I honestly don’t find Harrison Ford charming, like at all. Maybe because the recent interviews I’ve seen of him is generally him being freaking old but there are a LOT of old actors who have life in them. People find the “I don’t care” attitude of Harrison Ford kind of idk breath of fresh air and I’m like no I’d rather hear from an actor passionate about his or her own work, THAT TO ME is a breath of fresh air because to me celebs and actors are more interested in themselves rather than the work their in. It’s crazy how far Ford has gone when his general attitude to me ABOUT EVERYTHING is just “I’m in it for the money.”. It seems those are the types of celebs and actors who actually succeed in the world.

Compare that to Mark Hamill and Hayden Christensen... though mostly Hayden, because when Hayden talks about star wars or any of the work he’s in, he’s really invested in the story telling and character he’s playing. He appreciates every one, even the characters that have set his career back. I mean I would think he would resent playing Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader much like how Natalie Portman had come to resent Star Wars and playing Padme, but he isn’t and it’s just so incredible to me.  He’s so humble and grateful of the stuff he’s in and never shows this characteristic attitude shown by actors of how they’ve been wronged just because they’ve been in one bad movie that fans and critics have demolished.

Actors have it hard, but Hayden... all he did was buy a farm and move on with his life.

And he still talks about Star Wars, what a honor it was playing Anakin, and how much of a fan he is as well. 

Mark Hamill is the same.

Man... Mark Hamill and Hayden Christensen are so underrated. I wish we saw more of the them, or that we will anyway. Mostly Hayden anyway. I don’t like how Mark treated Rian Johnson. Mark’s attitude in things with Star Wars seems more aligned with what the fans want, while Hayden seems to respect the creator’s vision while telling fans they can want whatever they want but in the end of the day, art belongs to the person who creates it and what they wanted their art to be. Art is a form of expression by the creator. It’s never about what your fans want, it’s about what you want to bring to the table.

Still both Mark and Hayden are FAR more interesting than Harrison Ford, whose name I just forgot just by talking about Hayden and Mark ONLY because those two can talk about the stuff their in and I’m invested. Ford on the other hand always seems like he just got out of bed and can’t find his thoughts whenever you ask him a question. Maybe it’s old age, idk. But like why in the world to people love actors who are just there for the paycheck? 

I mean where’s the passion? 

I guess life is just about working for the paycheck and we know actors get a buttload. 

Can’t say anything about Ewan. I think Ewan takes his job seriously and he loves Star Wars, I mean he’s the reason Obi-Wan Kenobi became a tv series (even though I feel like the show was unnecessary, I love how it brought back the prequel love and I’m grateful for that.) Ewan is so damn likable, you can’t really say anything negative about the guy. I’m so glad his career has become so diverse over the years. Wish the same was for Hayden, but Hayden has been in some great some and I am sooo gonna bingewatch that shit, once I very very slowly finish some pages on my bullet journal, watch some youtube videos I have open and read some articles too lol.

I also need to start watching some movies on my movie list too.

the try guys, fellow ex-buzzfeed employees, had their own tv specials on food network (based off their youtube shows, btw) & a documentary made about them as well

rosanna pansino has also been on numerous food network shows both as a host & a judge

quinta brunsun, another fellow ex-buzzfeed employee, went on to create her own whole ass sitcom that has been highly praised

matpat cameo'd in the fnaf movie because of his theories & multiple other fnaf creators had small cameos through the employee of the month board easter egg

markiplier made multiple high-quality shows on youtube & is now working on a highly anticipated movie (he was also planned to cameo in the fnaf movie but couldn't due to conflicting schedules with his own movie)

hot ones got their own tv gameshow due to their popularity & they are still one of the most wellknown, beloved & respected internet shows

many short films made on youtube went on to premiere at film festivals & even in theaters

the hit horror film "talk to me" was created by youtubers rackaracka

webseries of actual fucking tv shows have also existed for literal decades

the list goes on.

to seriously think that overproduced bullshit is all you need to make "tv quality content" is not only tone-deaf, but shows they do not even know what they're talking about. many tv shows & huge blockbuster movies are made with absolutely microscopic budgets & small teams, & they still get praised & awarded for the passion, dedication, & creativity that shined brightly under those restrictions.

the blair witch project is probably the most wellknown & highly praised example of this, but it is far from the Only example

it is a whole other slap in the face, again ESPECIALLY when puppet history is one of their most popular shows, to spit in the face of internet history. to see the success of their predecessors, even ppl they fucking worked with at buzzfeed, & deny them of all their success & efforts to get where they ended up.

Nomad laughed, “Fair, wouldn’t want to take the title of Grampa away from CW. Besides we’re both half Vlad, so I think brother works best here.” She frowned, looking thoughtful, “Maybe half brother?”

Dan considered, “Half-brother could work. Though it gives Vlad more credit than he deserves.”

“Oh come on, can you imagine the look on his face if we went in together on suing him for child support?” Nomad asked, fanged grin wicked. Dan’s face lit up at the idea, and Kon felt like they were rapidly heading towards the two ghosts running off to go and go torment whoever this Vlad guy was rather then them help deal with the current demonic problem at hand.

“Can you please explain what any of that means?” Kon asked, more a squeak than anything else. He was starting to get a headache.

the distance between your eyes is roughly one eye. the corners of your mouth dont extend past the middle of each eye. ears are roughly in the middle of the tip of the nose and the eyebrow. the eyes are in the very centre of the head. the neck is just a Little slimmer than the width of the head (varies with fat distribution, but fat tends to build up under the chin). hair is easier to draw when you plot out the hairline and then where it parts. leaving appropriate distance on the side of the face (cheekbone area and back to ear) contributes to making characters look more realistic/hot as hell. i dont know specific tips for that so use reference. an amazing reference/study site is lineofaction.com . if you think of the face in planes it makes it easier to construct (look up tutorials). if you draw a spiral like a tornado it can help you figure out awkward perspective for extended limbs (look up foreshortening coil technique). tangent lines are when two lines intersect and cause visual confusion (when it looks like a line that defines an arm is part of the line that defines a building, for example) and avoiding them makes your art way easier to comprehend. quick trick to good composition: choose a focal point (where you want your viewer to focus), detail that area the most, and make sure various elements of the piece are pointing to that focal point. you can use colours to contrast hue, saturation, and brightness and make certain elements of your drawing stand out. drawing in greyscale can help you figure out values. using black in a piece isn't illegal but you should know what you're doing when you do use it- it desaturates a piece and if used as a shading colour can desaturate and dull whatever youre shading too. if you use almost-black lineart and then add black to darken the very darkest areas it will do a lot to add some nice depth. the tip of your thumb ends just above the start of your index finger- your thumb also has two knuckles and all your other fingers have three. if you see an artist doing something you like (the way they draw noses or eyes or hair or anything else) you can try to copy that and see if you want to incorporate it in your style <- this is ENCOURAGED and how a lot of us learned and developed our styles. there are ways to add wrinkles to faces and bodies without making the character look a million years old, you just have to keep experimenting with it. The smile wrinkles around your muzzle dont connect to your mouth or to your nose; there should be a small space in between smile or nose and the wrinkle line. eyes when viewed in profile are like < aka a little triangle shape. think of the pupil like a disk and apply foreshortening to it (it looks like a line when seen from the side instead of a full round dot). subtle gradients can add a LOT to a piece. texture can also add a LOT. look up Tommy Arnold's work (his murderbot pieces are some of my FAVOURITE) and zoom in. find those random little circles he added and try to figure out why he added them there. light bounces. there's lots of way light bounces. sometimes it even spreads through the skin. i do not know these light tricks yet but i want you to know that they exist. draw a circle to indicate hand placement, draw a straight line between that circle and the shoulder, and then (normally at a right angle) draw a straight line on top of that line to find the placement of the elbow. elbows are normally placed Just above the hip when standing and your arm is at rest. there are no bad colour combos if you're brave enough about it, just fuck with the saturation and brightness until it works. keep playing. try new things. add your own tips to this post if you want or even expand on some ive mentioned here. good luck go ham etc
