Sejarah Palestina - Israel

Intro - Tanah Palestina

Nabi Nuh as punya 4 putra yang setelah banjir besar, anak-anaknya di sebar :

- Kanaan (tidak ikut kapal)

- Sem

- Yafet

- Ham : punya anak bernama Kanaan bin Ham

Tanah Kanaan - wilayah Palestina, Lebanon, dan sekitarnya.

Tanah Palestina awalnya dihuni oleh keturunan Kanaan bin Ham bin Nuh as.

(Menurut Al-Kitab : Tanah Kanaan adalah tanah perjanjian yang diberikan Tuhan kepada Abraham dan keturunannya.)

Bani Israil : anak keturunan Nabi Ya'qub

Singkat cerita, Nabi Yusuf menjadi bendahara di Mesir.

Seluruh keluarganya berpindah dari Palestina ke Mesir, untuk kehidupan yang lebih baik.

Bani Israil di Mesir

Diperbudak oleh Fir'aun - dijadikan rakyat kelas rendah.

Bani Israil kemudian dipimpin oleh Nabi Musa dan Nabi Harun. Singkat cerita, mereka diselamatkan Allah dari kejaran Fir'aun.

Mereka tidak mau. Justru menyuruh Nabi Musa dan Allah berperang.

Nabi Musa berdoa kepada Allah karena tindakan Bani Israil sudah keterlaluan.

Bani Israil dihukum 40 tahun tidak bisa masuk tanah Palestina.

Kemudian mereka bertaubat - Yahudi (orang-orang yang bertaubat)

Bani Israil di Palestina

Bani Israil bisa masuk tanah Palestina setelah di pimpin oleh Yusya bin Nun.

Singkat cerita, Bani Israil dipimpin oleh Nabi Daud - mendirikan sebuah kerajaan Israel di Palestina.

Bani Israil membuat masalah (monopoli perdagangan dsb), akhirnya di usir dari Yerusalem oleh Kerajaan Persia.

Saat dunia dikuasai oleh Romawi, Bani Israil kembali ke Yerusalem.

Mereka kembali membuat ulah dan mengganggu stabilitas ekonomi disana, akhirnya mereka diusir lagi oleh Kaisar Romawi.

Bani Israil/ Yahudi di Madinah

Mereka merasa putus asa. Akhirnya memutuskan untuk pergi ke Madinah karena di dalam kitab mereka, tertulis bahwa akan ada Nabi terakhir yang diutus oleh Allah di Mekkah (kemudian hijrah di Madinah, makanya Yahudi menunggu di Madinah, karena tidak ingin ikut berjuang di Mekkah)

Orang-orang Yahudi/ Bani Israil sudah tau ciri-ciri lengkap dari Nabi Muhammad karena tertulis di Taurat.

Ternyata...

Nabi Muhammad merupakan keturunan dari Nabi Ismail as.

Bukan dari Nabi Ishak - Nabi Ya'qub dst (Bani Israil) sehingga mereka tidak mau mengakui Nabi Muhammad.

Mereka merasa Nabi Muhammad tidak diutus menjadi Nabi mereka.

Khilafah Turki Utsmani

Daulah Nabi - Khulafaur Rasyidin - Umayyah 1 - Abbasiyah - Umayyah 2 - Utsmani

Kekhilafahan Turki Utsmani pernah menguasai 2/3 wilayah dunia. Menjadi negara adidaya satu-satunya di dunia.

Mendekati tahun 1900-an, Turki Utsmani mulai melemah.

Banyak kehilangan wilayahnya.

Negara2 arab dipecah belah dan diprovokasi oleh Inggris agar memberontak dari Kekhilafahan Utsmani dengan iming-iming kedaulatan atas wilayahnya sendiri. Bahkan sampai dibuatkan bendera untuk menanamkan paham nasionalisme.

Tujuan utama Inggris : Meruntuhkan Khilafah Utsmani

Zionisme adalah gerakan nasionalis Yahudi internasional yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah negara Yahudi di wilayah Palestina.

Negara Arab yang sudah terpecah belah tadi ternyata tidak diberi kedaulatan. Inggris menghianati janjinya.

Negara-negara Arab tersebut dibagi oleh Inggris dan Perancis menjadi wilayah jajahan mereka.

Zionisme mendapatkan support dana dari Keluarga Rothschild (Keluarga konglomerat Yahudi, pemilik Bank terbesar di Amerika Serikat)

Amerika Serikat "membujuk" Inggris menyerahkan Tanah Palestina ke Israel. Dan disetujui oleh Inggris.

Peristiwa Holokaus (1933-1945)

Holokaus adalah genosida terhadap kira-kira enam juta Yahudi Eropa selama Perang Dunia II, suatu program pembunuhan sistematis yang didukung oleh negara Jerman Nazi, dipimpin oleh Adolf Hitler, dan berlangsung di seluruh wilayah yang dikuasai oleh Nazi.

Penyebab : yahudi menyebabkan situasi internal Jerman bermasalah dari segi ekonomi, militer, dll akibat ulat Yahudi. Sehingga Jerman kalah di perang dunia 1 dari mengalami kerugian besar.

Resolusi Khartoum (1967)

Liga Arab (persatuan negara Arab) mengeluarkan 3 resolusi :

1. Tidak ada perdamaian dengan Israel,

2. Tidak ada negosiasi dengan Israel,

3. Tidak ada pengakuan terhadap Israel

Namun waktu berjalan, Palestina tidak kunjung merdeka. Negara-negara Arab banyak yang melanggar Resolusi Khartoum. Banyak yang bekerja sama dengan Israel.

Berdirinya HAMAS (1987)

Harakah Al-Muqawwamah Al-Islamiyah

HAMAS dibentuk pada akhir tahun 1987 pada awal intifada (pemberontakan) Palestina yang pertama.

Didirikan oleh Syekh Ahmad Yasin.

(karena Palestina tidak bisa berharap pada Negara-negara Arab)

Ulama alumni Al-Azhar Mesir yang lumpuh namun semangat perjuangannya bisa tersampaikan kepada Hamas dengan baik.

HAMAS meluncurkan 5000 rudal ke target militer di Israel sebagai bentuk perlawanan.

Israel menuduh HAMAS membunuh wanita dan memenggal 40 bayi laki-laki -> digunakan sebagai pembenaran Israel membombardir Gaza dengan dalih self defence.

Berita bohong -> sudah diklarifikasi media Amerika. Tapi bombardir tetap berlanjut.

Israel menghancurkan seluruh masjid, gereja, semua sekolah, satu-satunya universitas Gaza, semua sumber mata air di Gaza, semua toko roti, semua rumah sakit yang ada di Gaza, tempat pengungsian warga.

Propaganda Hasbara Project -> taktik Israel mengendalikan opini publik melalui media global seperti CNN, CNBC, Buzzer sosial media, influencer, dll. Supaya tidak ada yang mendukung Palestina dan menegaskan bahwa HAMAS adalah teroris.

Hamas -> Pejuang Islam yang ingin membebaskan Palestina dari penjajahan Israel.

Dukungan Negara lain :

- Amerika -> mengirimkan bantuan militer besar-besaran untuk tentara Israel agar bisa membombardir Gaza.

- Inggris, Perancis, dll berada di pihak Israel.

Ketua Dewan HAM PBB mengundurkan diri karena tidak bisa mencegah Genosida di Gaza. Beliau menuturkan kalau solusinya hanya 2 :

- Kemerdekaan Palestina

- Pembubaran Israel

Kenapa para negara adidaya sangat kuat dukungannya kepada Israel?

Diawal sudah dijelaskan kalau bangsa Yahudi tersebar di seluruh dunia dan menguasai perekonomian negara tersebut. Salah satunya keluarga Rothschild (sponsor terbesar zionis).

Sekarang bisa kita amati, hampir semua unicorn dan perusahaan raksasa adalah milik orang Yahudi!

Seperti, meta. Ya, Mark Zuckerberg memiliki darah Yahudi.

Cek aja di google. Banyak orang Yahudi yang menjadi konglomerat dan menguasai perekonomian dunia.

Amerika Serikat adalah negara yang memiliki hutang terbesar di dunia.

Dana terbesar diperoleh dari bankir-bankir Yahudi.

Mungkin yang kita tahu, Amerika adalah negara adidaya terkuat di dunia.. Tapi kenyataannya, justru Amerika sejatinya berada di bawah kendali Yahudi secara ekonomi.

Presiden Perancis : Israel harus berhenti membunuh anak-anak dan wanita tidak bersalah.

Netanyahu : Presiden Perancis telah melakukan kesalahan besar.

Antisemitism and the Jewish State

Jews have always been in the minority in their temporary diasporic homes, and so they have usually been at the mercy of antisemites. If at a given time and place they are not actively persecuted, the possibility of persecution always remains, as European and even American Jews are rediscovering today. The commandment to keep one’s suitcase packed is no less apt today than in previous centuries.

Despite the heartwarming (but illusory) feeling of a worldwide solidarity of good people engendered by Yair Lapid’s recent remarks that antisemitism is just a particular form of a much more general collection of religious, ethnic, racial (etc.) hatreds that all those of good will should decry, the pervasiveness of antisemitism over the millennia and its shape-shifting nature show that it is indeed sui generis, unique. And we learned from the Holocaust that the Jewish people ultimately must stand alone against it.

Early Zionists like Moses Hess, Leo Pinsker, A. D. Gordon, and of course Theodor Herzl thought that the rebirth of Jewish sovereignty would remove much of the basis for antisemitism, by ending the parasitic economic life of diaspora Jews and restoring to them their self-respect as productive beings. The world had forgotten that the Jews had a homeland and saw them only as a people who belonged nowhere, and who were permanently aliens no matter how long they lived in a particular place. Of course the Jews themselves never forgot, but that only added to their foreign and exotic nature in the eyes of their hosts.

Gordon thought that through the labor involved in the creation of a self-sufficient state, the Jewish people could be fundamentally changed. With the removal of the restrictions of the diaspora, Jews could now engage in truly productive work, especially agriculture, which would create a “new Jew,” a strong, self-reliant one, different from the cringing targets of diasporic pogroms. A Jew that for once knew how to defend himself! The socialist kibbutz movements that actualized Gordon’s program did in fact create such a Jew (although the loss of Jewish tradition and spiritual motivation that followed did not serve the state well. But that’s another story). Once the Jews became an “ordinary” people, with an ordinary homeland containing Jewish police and Jewish prostitutes, it was expected that antisemitism would die out.

Today Israel has plenty of both police and prostitutes. But antisemitism did not die with the reestablishment of a sovereign Jewish state. It simply mutated, and today its virulent “Delta Variant” is the extreme, irrational, obsessive hatred of the Jewish state that I’ve called misoziony. Hand in hand with traditional religious, racial, and political antisemitism, misoziony became a useful tool for Islamic dictatorships and other anti-Western forces. In particular, the Soviet Union invested a great deal of ingenuity employing it as a tool to develop an anti-American (and of course anti-Israel) bloc in the UN. Today, various forms of antisemitism permeate the world.

Imagine that it were possible to assemble Bogdan Chmielnicki, Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin, Louis Farrakhan, Ismail Haniyeh, Jeremy Corbyn, Rashida Tlaib, Lara Friedman, and Gideon Levy in one room. Antisemites all, albeit of greater or lesser import. They would agree about very little except the vileness of the Jewish people. Their followers and their ideas are everywhere; the initial impetus by the KGB in the 1960s and 70s set fire to the latent Jew-hatred whose overt manifestation today is so shocking to those who don’t know the history of the Jewish people.

Most initiatives to “fight antisemitism” rely on some form of educational enterprise. These are doomed to fail, especially “Holocaust education,” which is intended to make people behave better toward Jews by making them feel sorry for them. Psychologically, this has the opposite effect, causing subjects to distance themselves from Jews. Antisemites respond that the Holocaust is either a Jewish lie, or if it did happen, it was because Jewish behavior precipitated it, and they are encouraged by Hitler’s partial success and want to finish the job. They add that Jews are like Nazis. Misozionists insist absurdly that their “criticism of Israel” is different from antisemitism rather than a mutant form of it. They too add that Israelis are like Nazis.

Misozionists will also say that the existence of the state is the whole problem. If Israel didn’t exist, there would be no conflict, no terrorism, no hatred. I point to the entire history of the Jewish people prior to 1948 as a counterexample.

One thing that has been learned is that Jews cannot end antisemitism by improving themselves, either by involvement in “social justice” activities to help other oppressed groups (many of whose members don’t like Jews much anyway), or by becoming “new Jews” who drive tractors and milk cows rather than lending money.

Bari Weiss wrote a book called “How to fight Antisemitism.” I liked the book, but the title is a poor one. The enemy is not “antisemitism;” it is antisemites. There is only one way to “fight antisemitism” and that is to instill enough respect for – and fear of – Jewish power in antisemites to deter them from their anti-Jewish activities. The ideology can die out on its own (or not, we don’t care). The real enemy is not an abstract ideology, but concrete and specific: we and they know who they are.

And that is why a Jewish state, even though the fact of its existence does not itself prevent antisemitism, is invaluable in ending it. A stateless people is a powerless one, and the use of power is the best remedy for Jew-hatred. The Jewish state has bombed nuclear reactors in enemy countries, and Israel’s covert services have arrested or killed terrorists all over the world. Jewish police protect Jews in Israel from terrorism, and Jewish diplomacy, backed by military and economic power, can defend them in the diaspora. Ultimately, persecuted Jews can go to the Jewish state; indeed, Israel has preemptively rescued Jewish populations in danger in places like Ethiopia and Yemen.

If there is a problem, it is that too many Israelis have forgotten Jewish history and even the history of their state. They think that now we are a “normal” people in a “normal” state, and so we can relax and live normal lives. We aren’t and we can’t. Our state has a unique responsibility: to protect and nurture our people in a hostile world.

Daily update post:

A 47 years old mother and her 15 years old son were seriously injured in a Hezbollah rocket attack today, aimed at the northern city of Kiryat Shmona. I'll just point out that even though the Iran-funded terrorism group always claims their attacks on Israelis are a retaliation for this or for that, they chose to open fire at Israel on Oct 7 (when this country was busy with Hamas terrorists still infiltrating it in the south), and they haven't stopped since.

I just wanted to show you what it looks like when Israel's border is being fired at, but please keep in mind that Iron Dome was only implemented in 2011, but we have been fired at by one hostile entity or another (often more than one) for a very long time. I can't remember a time when we weren't afraid of rockets being fired at us. And Iron Dome, as demonstrated again today, with all due respect to it, is like every other defence system: it's not foolproof. Any person who wouldn't accept being at the receiving end of these rocket barrages, has no right to demand that Israel continues to accept this distorted reality.

So this is a reminder that this is what Israel has been dealing with almost non-stop since Oct 7 from several fronts.

Here in Israel, we continue to follow with alarm the rise of antisemitic incidents around the globe. This time, I have to share with you this horrifying bit of news, about a Jewish student, Lahav Shapira, being beaten so badly, that he had to be hospitalized and undergo surgery for the facial injuries that he endured at the hands of an Arab (so called "pro-Palestinian") student. Police says this was following an argument over the war in Gaza, Lahav's family says he and his gf were stalked, then he was jumped, while the attacker shouted, "Why are you posting pictures of kidnapped people?" To make matters worse, this happened in Berlin, and Lahav is the grandson of an Israeli athelete who was murdered by Palestinian terrorists in Germany, while he was participating in the 1972 Olympic Games. Berlin's Free University's response was weak, focused on explaining that the law prevents them from expelling the attacking student.

While ignorant social media users insist that what's happening to the Palestinians is a genocide, the niece of Qatar-based Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh gave birth in an Israeli hospital. Her baby was born prematurely, and is taken care of in the NICU. Haniyeh has 3 sisters who married Israeli Bedouin Arabs, got Israeli citizenship through that, and live in Israel with full citizen rights. I've worked with so many victims of actual cases of genocide, and NONE went to get medical treatment from the people who were massacring them.

I've now seen Tumblr posts accusing Israel of bombing over one million people in Rafah. These are posts referring to the rescue raid, where Israeli soldiers raided one apartment, SAVED two hostages, and then left. If you're trying to save two hostages from terrorists who would kill their prisoners and themselves first, you wanna sneak in there as discreetly as possible. You wouldn't bomb an entire city. Even Hamas' false spin, blaming Israel of a massacre (and don't forget that Hamas is the organization telling the world how many died during this operation), didn't try to claim that the IDF attacked the whole population of the city. There's something insanely wrong in a reality where people on social media uncritically pass along lies that not even a terrorist organization dares to tell.

The graduating student in the cap is Matan Levi.

He studied law, and was about to have his graduation ceremony when Hamas' massacre took place. He left everything, and went south to fight as a reservist that verey day. On Oct 14, he was hit by a mortar, and when he woke up in the hospital, he discovered that he had lost his eyesight. According to his own account, that was very hard to hear, but his first thought was regarding how this won't break him, how he can move on from this. Since then, he's been accompanied by a former soldier named Amit Barel:

Amit fought and was injured in the Second Lebanon War, back in 2006. He lost his sight, too. He has since developed a career, married, and had kids. He's a part of a program where wounded former soldiers are helping those who have been recently injured to cope with their new challenges. He said that simply seeing that life is possible even with serious injuries is very helpful to a lot of the newly wounded soldiers. I thought it's inspirational, how people can put their misfortune to good use, to help others, how these new bonds and friendships get formed, so I wanted to share the story of this touching project.

But I also wanted to reflect on how Israel is a society of wounded people. Not just physically. We have the collective trauma caused by thousands of years of antisemitic persecution, including the Holocaust and the expulsion of Mizrachi Jews from Arab and Muslim countries, and we have the on going trauma caused by the continued use of violence against us in a war that was started against us in 1947, and has never really ended, whatever form it has taken at different points in time. No one has a right to speak about this conflict, unless they're willing to acknowledge this hurt, too.

Understanding the development of Alzheimer’s disease is a hot topic in today’s health discourse. Science advances have suggested everything from genetics to lifestyle choices as risk factors for this cognitive decline.

Despite consistent investigation and clinical trials, the exact reasons some develop Alzheimer’s are murky. While new research is still emerging, you may want to check your teeth and gums.

When people think of dementia and Alzheimer’s, they don’t first think about gum disease and oral health.

However, research over the last several years suggests that advanced periodontitis (stage IV gum disease) might not just be associated with Alzheimer’s. There’s a chance it could be the root cause.

For years, Alzheimer’s has been discussed as a genetic and lifestyle-based inevitability. But what if it’s an infectious issue instead?

The Problem with Modern Alzheimer’s Treatments

Although Alzheimer’s disease has been researched for years, current treatment methods are shockingly ineffective. Some can even have adverse effects. A staggering 99% of Alzheimer’s disease drugs fail. Clearly, we don’t fully understand the cause of Alzheimer’s just yet.

This lack of efficacy is potentially due to current research looking for links instead of causative factors. Many drugs on the market are created to treat symptoms, not to prevent the disease. At Ask the Dentist, we are all about prevention first. We believe discovering the foundational reasons for Alzheimer’s is better than simply treating its effects.

How Gingivitis Gets to the Brain

Some scientists have begun to investigate a bacteria called Porphyromonas gingivalis (P. gingivalis) as a possible causative agent of Alzheimer’s disease. This pathogen is known to trigger gum disease and cause gingivitis in its early stages.

Doctors have found that Alzheimer’s patients have a much higher rate of gingivitis and advanced periodontal disease than others.

Furthermore, researchers are finding uncommonly high concentrations of proteins produced by P. gingivalis in the brains of people with Alzheimer’s disease.

These proteins react with amyloid beta proteins and toxic enzymes to form amyloid plaques. This insoluble plaque creates inflammation and destroys brain cells. This inflammation and destruction leads to the symptoms of Alzheimer’s.

But how does this bacteria from our teeth get into our brain? It seems that the bacteria that cause gum disease can sneak into spinal fluid, according to the Journal of Science Advances, not to mention the bloodstream. Eventually, they make their way to the brain tissue.

Missing teeth and the holes they leave may be another pathway. In fact, dementia rates rise with the number of teeth lost. Tooth loss is often a result of periodontal disease, seemingly linking infected gums to Alzheimer’s disease.

Evidence for Causation: Gum Disease and Alzheimer’s

While research is years from proving causation beyond a shadow of a doubt, here’s what we know right now:

At least one study found that people with the least teeth left were at the greatest risk for dementia.

Periodontitis, or gum disease, causes great deals of inflammation. Scientists linked this disease to inflammation of the brain, commonly seen in Alzheimer’s disease.

The P. gingivalis, or gum disease bacteria, easily travels to the brain and builds there over time. In mice, this pathogen injures neurons, increases inflammation in the brain. The inflammation in turn causes dementia– and Alzheimer’s-like symptoms.

P. gingivalis produces toxins called gingipains. In patients with Alzheimer’s, gingipain levels correlate with the amount of toxic tau tangles within brain cells.

Another study found that inhibiting the gingipains in the brains of mice reduced neuroinflammation. Furthermore, it reduced the existing brain infection, and rescued neurons in the hippocampus.

In that last new study, published in January 2019, the scientists proposed a causative link, which is a big deal in the science world. Most health-related science relies on correlations. These predict that with a specific studied behavior, you’re likely to get a certain result.

However, causation is a much more tricky thing to prove. Nevertheless, we’ve found compelling evidence for this bacteria as a cause in the last year. Proposing an actual cause, as opposed to linking the disease to one factor, is unusual. This is an incredibly significant development when it comes to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

It tells us that a much bigger emphasis on the prevention and treatment of gum disease may be necessary to help people avoid the tragic pain of age-related brain diseases like these.

While the evidence is far from conclusive, it seems we’ve discovered one previously unknown cause of Alzheimer’s. It’s unlikely that periodontal disease is the only causative factor, but this is one of the most promising findings in recent times. It also has enormous potential to assist in curing, and not just managing, this disease.

Prevent Gum Disease for Your Brain

Tests in the aforementioned January 2019 study found that medications that stop gingipains toxic effects within the brain might help to stop P. gingivalis from bioaccumulating. With or without medication, taking preventative measures against gum disease is always the right decision.

Chronic periodontitis can lead to tooth loss and worse. Now, knowing that it might lead to a healthier, happier old age, it’s more important than ever before.

Beyond ramping up your oral hygiene, you can implement a gum disease diet. Be proactive, and even if you haven’t been diagnosed, tell your dentist about any bleeding in your gums. It doesn’t take long for gum damage to become irreversible, so I recommend communicating immediately about any changes in gum health.

If you’re currently battling gingivitis, no shame here. Bleeding gums are reversible, and three out of four Americans will experience it at some point in their lives.

No matter what state your gums are in, it’s crucial to take intentional care of them, for your health and for your future. As you have read, dental hygiene is a major health concern.

You can improve gum health by reducing stress, a known contributor to gum disease. Also, I advise upping your vitamin C intake, cutting down on smoking, and staying hydrated.

As this science emerges, a pharmaceutical company in California called Cortexyme is working on a new drug. It aims to stop the production of amyloid beta and inhibit gingipains. This article will be updated as news continues about this exciting research.

Analisi di Attack on Titan, Capitolo 107 - Runaway Eren

Oggi è il 6 di Luglio, fa caldissimo (ma per quanto mi riguarda, fa "caldissimo" anche con 25 onesti gradi, odio l'estate) e la temperatura sta salendo come direbbero i dj dei portentosi anni 80 per l'uscita non solo del capitolo 107 ma ANCHE della terza stagione animata. Io non so voi ma la sto aspettando con un desiderio pazzesco. Non ansia, so cosa succede e mi divertirò un sacco a guardare le reaction genuine su Youtube (ce ne sono alcune commoventi ed esilaranti insieme!) e continuerò a ricordarmi quanto lo Studio Wit sia straordinario nel lavoro che fa.

Ma, capitolo 107, il capitolo degli spiegoni in salsa Isayama, ossia: non spiego niente, vi confondo di più e alla fine vi lascio lì ad aspettare agosto.

Come sempre spoiler selvaggio ed inaspettato, portatevi le pokeball o andate a vedere video di Floral Foam che viene schiacciata (sul serio, è una droga).

In questo capitolo, che inizialmente ho sfogliato compulsivamente quando sono usciti i "Bacteria's Leak" microscopici e pixellosissimi mi sono accorta subito del tratto di Isayama che, a parte alcuni ritratti straordinari (Levi e Zeke sopra gli altri), sembrava molto sporco, quasi tornato non dico agli inizi ma a quelle tavole un po' troppo statiche di personaggi seduti o che passeggiano assieme, quelle che ti fanno dimenticare quanto straordinario questo artista possa essere nelle tavole dinamiche. Se all'inizio mi sembrava una nota di "demerito", come un aver realizzato il numero in maniera frettolosa, idea partorita dalla mia cinica mente occidentale perchè so benissimo che a parte pochissime eccezioni, gli artisti del calibro di Isayama non permetterebbero mai un'uscita editoriale che non fosse all'altezza del resto dell'opera. Isayama non è eccelso nelle scene statiche ma è sempre riuscito a fare lavori eccellenti con l'espressività dei personaggi e questo capitolo verte praticamente UNICAMENTE su quella. I personaggi si confrontano con scoperte e rivelazioni terribili, devono affrontare scelte terribili e noi dobbiamo riuscire ad essere lì, con loro, silenziosi spettatori nella terza o quarta fila, dobbiamo guardare questi duri volti di china e capire completamente come si stanno sentendo.

Ma andiamo con ordine, altrimenti è un casino.

Eren è in cella, come gli avevano garantito sarebbe stato. La scena riparte esattamente da dove l'abbiamo lasciata nel 106: un giovane uomo determinato al limite dell'ossessione di fronte ad un traboccante lavello, di fronte al proprio riflesso nello specchio che, chissà, forse non riesce più a riconoscere. Anche in questo momento di intimità e solitudine, Eren non riesce a sedersi e prendere fiato, facendo il punto della propria situazione e, magari, mettendola in dubbio. No, continua a predicare e a tentare di convincere sé stesso che "o questo o niente", il piano è questo, lui DOVEVA agire così.

Eren sembra un uomo reduce da una difficile scelta pescata fra altre difficili scelte e che l'ha compiuta per disperata necessità. Ma è davvero così? Ha davvero fatto tutto di testa sua, anche se in questo numero iniziamo a vedere le crepe dell'incomprensione aprirsi fra lui ed i suoi compagni per motivi del tutto legittimi? Non è che, magari, Zeke l'ha spinto su questa linea d'azione facendogli credere di poter scegliere ma lasciandogli alla fine solo una scelta percorribile?

Faccio una divagazione stupida che mi servirà anche per il futuro: vi ricordate nel film dei Simpson, il personaggio di Russ Cargill, il "cattivo" che propone al presidente Schwarzenegger "cinque scelte inammissibili e ciascuna provocherà sofferenze incalcolabili"? Ecco, Zeke è IDENTICO. Zeke ti offre una serie di scelte ma poi, con la sua straordinaria scaltrezza, ti porterà a fare la scelta che lui ha già impacchettato per te e per cui ha già scritto un piano infallibile. Vi lascio sotto questa clip divertente, purtroppo in inglese ma è il succo del discorso.

Torniamo quindi alla nostra cella con il nostro pensieroso Eren che viene raggiunto da Hanji. Il nostro attuale Comandante manca del tutto dell'empatia che nonostante costruita in modo strano, Erwin Smith possedeva: inizialmente prova a comunicare con lui in modo cameratesco ma diventa immediatamente stramba come quando giocherellava attorno a Sawney e Bean (pur ottenendo risultati eccellenti).

Eren d'altro canto è proprio sul pianeta Lasciatemistare, galassia dell'Incomunicabilità e credo a questo punto che neanche un telepatico sarebbe riuscito a fare tanto meglio di Hanji, tant'è che Eren non le risponde mai, tranne quando, stizzito, la interroga sul vero motivo della sua visita. Eren è infuriato per qualcosa e quel qualcosa credo l'abbia spinto al di là del mare, al massacro di Marley ma che si tratti solo della punta del proverbiale iceberg. L'ultima battuta di Eren, il succo, si potrebbe dire, è riassunto in una sola vignetta "Non avevi nessun bisogno di sacrificare Historia. Ne ero certo."

Se non avessi già visto l'ultima pagina durante i giorni di spoiler selvaggio mi starei domandando cosa possa essere capitato ad Historia ma, visto che lo so, posso solo dire che mi ha stupito enormemente. Una svolta pazzesca, soprattutto ricordando che Attack on Titan resta uno Shonen anche se un po' atipico.

Ma andiamoci dietro con ordine.

La nostra storia torna indietro di due anni, durante i primi difficoltosi e scettici incontri fra gli Walldian e i ribelli di Zeke, capitanati da Yelena. La soldatessa che vede in Zeke un Dio Vendicatore, un Ezechiele pronto a guidare il suo popolo verso la libertà spezzando il giogo lo imprigiona, ha perso un po' le somiglianze con Brienne di Tarth e sembra sempre di più una fanatica a tratti pericolosa, assolutamente impavida, come fosse certa di una salvezza oltre l'imprevisto di un Walldian particolarmente livoroso che ti spara in fronte. Yelena non ha paura di tendere la mano verso di loro ma non perchè sia "buona" o speranzosa, lei crede a Zeke, Zeke deve averle centrifugato il cervello (come fa con TUTTI) ed averla caricata per renderla un incrollabile seguace a prova di proiettile. E' come i Kamikaze, come uno dei devoti Ismailiti strafatti di hashish durante una missione. E' intossicata dalla fede e dall'amore nel suo dio in carne ed ossa.

Ve la ricordate Yelena nel numero scorso, fronteggiare a pochi metri Eren in versione gigante? Insomma, io un brividino l'avrei provato. Lei invece è mossa dalla sua fede e niente sembra poterla fermare. Personaggio interessantissimo: se accadesse qualcosa a Zeke cosa farebbe? Si frantumerebbe in sé stessa o farebbe di sè stessa una Giovanna d'Arco immune ai proiettili? Staremo a vedere. Levi durante questa conversazione, mantiene le distanze e si frappone fra il gruppo di Yelena ed Eren. Levi sembra l'unico ad avere zero remore nel sembrare uno squilibrato mentale particolarmente aggressivo, non gli frega niente. Lui ha capito che il piano di Zeke è tutt'altro che limpido e che questa matta non sta raccontando ancora tutta la storia per intero. Levi, anche nel presente, è l'unico che riesce a temere Zeke fino quasi in fondo. Non in fondo in fondo perchè credo che nemmeno lui abbia capito la reale pericolosità del rampollo dei Fritz. Ogni volta che Zeke apre la bocca, Levi chiude le orecchie. Le parole di Zeke sono miele avvelenato, tutti quelli che sono venuti in contatto con lui, alla fine, l'hanno ascoltato. Come un cobra incantatore li ha tenuti ancorati e li ha spediti a casa con un "fantastico piano" e con ancora più fantastiche promesse. Come Totò in "Totò truffa '62" che ti vende la Fontana di Trevi. Punto focale di questo numero è l'arrivo della delegazione di Hizuru dove, finalmente, rivediamo la nostra Manekineko preferita, la signora Kyomi Azumabito. Ecco qui l'unico e solo alleato di Eldia in questa guerra totale che si sta preparando all'orizzonte. Ovviamente a far da intermediario c'è Yelena e, sopra ancora, ovviamente, Zeke. Io adoro Zeke ma me lo ricordo ancora bene quando ha "interagito" con Mike. Certo, me lo ricordo io e ve lo ricordate voi. Peccato che nessuno abbia visto una scena del genere perchè forse e dico "forse", avrebbero avuto più remore nei suoi confronti. Un conto è affrontarlo sul campo di battaglia: ha disintegrato gli Scout perchè si trovavano fra lui e la sua "meta" ma la morte di Mike è stata gratuita, terribile e sadica. Credo che lì Zeke abbia mostrato la sua vera natura, ovviamente ad un uomo morto.

E' proprio Yelena (guarda un po'!) ad introdurre Mikasa a Kyomi. Ora, correggetemi se sbaglio ma: chi sa delle origini Asian di Mikasa? Lei stessa non ha mai mostrato il suo marchio a nessuno dopo averlo promesso a sua madre, perchè l'avrebbe esposta ad un rischio elevato da parte di qualche fanatico e solo Eren fa presente (davanti a tutti, il solito genio), di averlo visto quando erano bambini. Quindi questa informazione come è arrivata a Yelena o a Zeke? Quanti altri infiltrati ci sono ad Eldia di cui non sappiamo? Sembra che la nazione di Hizuru sia qui, disponibile ad appoggiare Eldia, per attingere alle sue cospicue risorse, come già in tempi non sospetti voleva fare il Generale Carby di Marley. Ma non stiamo parlando di risorse qualunque, perchè Zeke, durante un misterioso incontro proprio con Kyomi, sembra che le abbia offerto in studio proprio la "botticella" che è il vero motore del dispositivo di manovra tridimensionale (di Mike, ecco dov'era finito).

Una cosa che forse tendiamo a dimenticare (io me l'ero dimenticato) è il metodo di funzionamento del dispositivo: all'interno della botticella (che nell'anime invece è una sorta di dispositivo con due eliche alla base) si trova una Iceburst Stone, immaginaria pietra dalle proprietà straordinarie che si origina naturalmente nelle profondità delle grotte sotto la Factory City, centro industriale all'interno delle mura che produce armi e attrezzature incorporando materiali come l'Ultrahard Steel e l'Iron Bamboo. Le caverne trovate sotto la Factory City erano una volta caldere vulcaniche: quando le temperature sotto terra diminuirono al cessare dell'attività vulcanica, i gas naturali all'interno delle caverne si solidificarono ad altissime pressioni, diventando come pietre ghiacciate. Se esposte a temperature superiori alle temperature di congelamento nelle caverne in cui si trovano, le pietre si vaporizzano rapidamente. Questo crea una piccola esplosione da cui queste pietre prendono il nome diventando indispensabili per i soldati Walldian che, senza, non potrebbero "volare."

Ho provato a documentarmi un po' e non ho trovato nell'immediato riscontro di pietre vulcaniche contenenti gas che possano fornire vera e propria energia. TUttavia un vecchio articolo postato su Wired parlava di come nella centrale geotermica di Hellisheidi in Islanda, si fosse riusciti ad intrappolare la CO2 ed iniettarla nel terreno, trasformandola in pietre (per diminuire l'inquinamento atmosferico, ancora niente islandesi volanti. Per ora.)

L'anidride carbonica allo stato puro è infatti un gas altamente instabile che al minimo errore risulta pericolo e può causare esplosioni. Forse Isayama, che da quel che ho potuto capire non lascia niente al caso o al troppo campato per aria, ha preso spunto da qui? Sarebbe molto affascinante. Anche perchè torneremmo a far visita a quelle terre impervie di fuoco e ghiaccio, grembo del mito di feroci guerrieri. E di giganti.

Un'altra piccola parentesi (e alla fine ne saremo SOMMERSI) vorrei farla proprio su questo ricordarci delle grotte e delle loro pietre da parte di Isayama. Ora che la saga sta compiendo i suoi ultimi archi siamo tornati indietro, alle origini, lontani da Marley, lontani da Carby, Magath e Willy Tybur. Siamo tornati ad Eldia e a una delle prime cose che impariamo nel manga, una delle caratteristiche distintive della storia: come funziona il dispositivo di manovra tridimensionale. Forse anche la storia stessa si sta avvitando sulle proprie spire e scava nella terra misteriosa di Eldia, sprofondando nei suoi segreti inspiegabili, forse fino alla "fonte di tutto il potere"? Fino ad una di quelle grotte in cui una certa Ymir Fritz incontro il Daichi no Akuma, il Diavolo di Tutte le Terre?

Torniamo all'incontro fra Kyomi e Mikasa: finalmente anche la nostra guerriera smette di brillare della malata luce riflessa di Eren e inizia a mostrarci il suo splendore. E notiamo la peculiarità di questo incontro. Kyomi è una donna furba e potente ed inizia trattando con le armi in pugno che le ha fornito direttamente Yelena. Certo, a Kyomi interessano le risorse energetiche di Paradis (roba che la fa salivare quanto la nostra compianta Sasha alla sola idea), tuttavia sembra che a dipingerle di sgomento il viso sia proprio il marchio che Mikasa porta sul polso, quello che la identifica come vera "sana e forte" erede del potente Shogun della terra di Hizuru, lo Shogun (suppongo) Azumabito che, in tempi non (troppo) sospetti aveva stipulato una solida ed intima amicizia con la famiglia reale dei Fritz. Che caso, eh?

Vi ricordate Krueger che raccomandava a Grisha la salvezza di Mikasa ed Armin? Non è quindi che Zeke abbia avuto informazioni molto dettagliate su Mikasa proprio da Eren Krueger? Sto per arrivare anche a questo punto.

Un'altra domanda che mi sono posta e, ho cercato di immaginarne lo scenario, riguarda proprio la fine dell'alleanza\amicizia fra i Fritz e le minoranze "etniche" degli Ackerman e degli Azumabito. Sappiamo che a un certo punto Re Fritz non solo non è più loro amico ed alleato ma inizia uno sterminio sistematico, una pulizia etnica terribile a cui mettono fine solo Uri e Kenny Ackerman. Cosa ha rotto quest'amicizia tanto da trasformarla in una letale caccia alle streghe? Sappiamo che gli Azumabito, come gli Ackerman, non possono essere influenzati dalla cancellazione della memoria dei Fritz, in quanto non-eldian e quindi possiamo solo supporre che ad un certo punto queste due potenti e fedeli famiglie possano aver visto il marciume che stava crescendo dietro questa cancellazione continua del passato, che abbiano cercato prima di far ragionare Fritz e poi gli si siano opposte.

Tutto il resto, è storia.

Mikasa viene chiamata "La speranza di Hizuru" e questa definizione ci lascia intendere che a Kyomi interessino le risorse per la sua terra ma che, soprattutto le interessi Mikasa. Kyomi ha lanciato il suo strale, l'ha lasciato lì conficcato nella mente di Mikasa che vediamo estremamente colpita, pensierosa: come Historia è l'ultima della "più importante famiglia del mondo" (WOW!) quindi il suo ruolo è una chiave importantissima per la nostra storia. Come però ci ricorda Pixis, i Walldian sono come bambini che hanno appena scoperto il mondo degli adulti: per la prima volta si rendono conto dell'esistenza di un mondo attorno a Paradis, un mondo che è andato avanti e che ha affilato denti ed artigli in conflitti fra nazioni, in giochi politici crudeli e spietati. Tutti sembrano aver proposte interessanti per Paradis ma se persino Kyomi SBAVA platealmente pensando alle sue risorse, mi verrebbe davvero da domandarmi "Il gioco vale la candela?" e "ci state davvero dicendo tutto?".

Kyomi si sente in dovere di dire a Mikasa, in sostanza, che in qualsiasi momento potrà mollare tutto e "tornare a casa", cosa che sicuramente per il momento non farà, perchè il suo sangue Ackerman la incatena ad Eren e alle sue scelte scellerate. E Zeke, questo, lo sa. La signora di Hizuru desidera anche informare gli Walldian che questa alleanza nasce proprio da Zeke che ha offerto ad Hizuru le risorse di Paradis e molto probabilmente li ha informati dell'esistenza di Mikasa. Insomma, è di nuovo Totò che vende la Fontana di Trevi. E qui arriviamo ad una rivelazione MOLTO importante: vediamo il flashback della chiacchierata fra Zeke e la signora Kyomi e notiamo, anzitutto, che Zeke ha i capelli lunghi, non ha quel suo taglio militare di sempre. Vuol dire che due anni fa il nostro giovane Fritz se ne stava un po' a zonzo, lontano da occhi indiscreti. Zeke confessa a Kyomi di essere stato PARTE DEI RESTORAZIONISTI DI ELDIA,

quindi non uno stupido bamboccio vittima degli eventi, troppo traumatizzato dai genitori peggiori del mondo (sì, Grisha, facevi veramente schifo). Analizziamo questa nuova notizia quindi: il piccolo Zeke (sette anni), già un bravo soldatino Marlean vive una doppia vita. Da un lato è un bravo soldatino marlean, dall'altra è l'arma segreta dei Restorazionisti. All'inizio pensiamo che il piccolo Zeke sia solo uno strumento ma qui, lo Zeke adulto, ci spiega il perchè abbia venduto i suoi genitori condannadoli ad una straziante separazione (soprattutto la povera Dina). Un bambino di SETTE anni, per quanto sveglio e intelligente come lui riesce a fare questo ragionamento: i miei genitori stanno gestendo la questione dei Restorazionisti come due macachi e stanno per essere beccati, è meglio che io (BAMBINO DI SETTE ANNI) tranci questo ramo incapace del gruppo per salvare me stesso e i miei nonni (ricordiamo che Marley non va per il sottile con i traditori: come ci ricorda Reiner quando sente Falco tergiversare a proposito della propria fedeltà). Innanzi tutto io non credo che un bambino di sette anni possa fare questo ragionamento, neanche se è Zeke Jaeger. Secondo, non credo che Zeke Jaeger sia uomo da "spiegoni" e non credo che Isayama sia autore da spiegoni e NON CREDO che Isayama sia uomo da mettere in bocca lo spiegone ad un personaggio amibguo, bugiardo ed infido come Zeke. Ohhh. Mi sento meglio. Io credo che Zeke non sia un "bugiardo" completo, non mente perchè gli va. Lui dice tutte mezze verità in modo da accontentare i suoi ascoltatori, renderli fiduciosi, far abbassare loro le barriere (pensiamo solo cosa ha fatto con Marley, Carby e Magath: li ha mossi come pedine della dama, nemmeno degli scacchi). La mia teoria è che dietro alla denuncia di Dina e Grisha ci fosse Krueger e, forse "Mistery Man Goggle Kun": alla fine i Restorazionisti appartenevano più a Krueger che a Grisha ed è stato Krueger a mandare Dina, l'ultima Fritz rimasta, da Grisha. E quando alla fine Dina è stata condannata ad essere trasformata, Krueger senza alcuna ombra di pietà ha detto a Grisha "Scappa, FATTI UNA FAMIGLIA, fai dei figli". E' un po' strano come augurio, no? Krueger ha insistito molto su questo punto: avere una nuova famiglia, nuova moglie, nuovi figli. Krueger sembrava aver bisogno di tutto questo spettacolo, quasi morendo sui piedi di Grisha per dargli l'Attacking Titan. Quindi continuo a sostenere che Krueger sia stata la principare ispirazione e fonte di informazioni di Zeke e che Zeke, attualmente, sia il nuovo "Owl", nuovo capo dei Restorazionisti. Ma non è tutto. Zeke è un maestro degli inganni e, secondo me, nasconde ancora molte cose: il suo fine è solo suo, Zeke è alleato di tutti, amico di nessuno. Ce lo dice lui stesso, affermando che mentre lavorava alla liberazione degli Eldian, li maciullava sul campo di battaglia perchè gli Scout erano evidentemente perdite sacrificabili. E tutto questo poteva continuare a funzionare solo se il suo segreto (il suo Zekret!) fosse rimasto celato: ossia il suo sangue reale.

Qui c'è un altro particolare interessante: Zeke è un po' che ce la sta menando con il "gigante dal sangue reale". Che differenza c'è fra una persona normale di sangue reale e un gigante o titan shifter di sangue reale? Evidentemente qualcosa cambia. Noi abbiamo visto attivarsi la coordinata solo quando Eren ha toccato Dina in versione Mindless. Quando ha toccato Historia, Eren ha percepito dei ricordi, degli echi di Frida e degli altri Reiss. Quindi Zeke ci fa presente che NESSUNO sa cosa può accadere quando il Founding Titan e il Titan with Royal Blood s'incontrano. Neanche Hizuru. Insomma, Zeke fa presente a Kyomi che lì, a comandare, resta sempre lui. Per non sfastidiare troppo la delegazione, Zeke offre loro il già citato "botticello" di Mike con all'interno la Iceburst Stone. Un piccolo prezzo per evitare che Kyomi gli rifiuti questo piano folle e vada a spiegare che razza di matto sia Zeke Jaeger magari proprio al generale Carby, mh?

Ma resta sempre la domanda: perchè DUE giganti? Perchè Founding e sangue reale separati e non un unico founding Reiss o Fritz? Io credo che molto semplicemente sia per via della promessa di Re Fritz: se il Founding finisse nel corpo di un Reiss o di un Fritz questo verrebbe costretto all'immobilità dalla promessa di Fritz, quindi tenerli separati è di vitale importanza.

E poi Zeke-Totò vende a miss Kyomi le risorse di Paradis e la promessa di un futuro prospero e illuminato. E, pazzesco, tutti gli credono. Mentre tutti si domandano quanto davvero interessino a Kyomi gli ideali di libertà di Zeke (Pffff), Historia ci leva d'impaccio e fa la DOMANDA che tutti noi stiamo tenendo in bocca da mesi: ma il piano di Zeke... qual è?

E casualmente, Zeke l'ha immaginata questa domanda e ha preparato TRE PIANI che causeranno "indicibile sofferenza e perdite insostenibili" come Russ Cargill. Il primo: usare l'"earth rumbling" per continuare a difendere Paradis, né più né meno quello che ha sempre minacciato Fritz, ossia il radere al suolo TUTTO e regnare felici su un mondo di morti. Il secondo piano prevede che Hizuru offra le migliori novità in campo bellico a Paradis e si prepari a combattere una guerra senza distruggere tutto con i giganti. Certo, dice Kyomi, ci vorranno UNA CINQUANTINA D'ANNI ma si può fare. Come no. Nel frattempo Marley o le altre nazioni (perchè ricordiamoci che tutto il mondo odia gli Eldian) li avrebbero bombardati peggio del delta del Mecong.

Oppure c'è l'opzione numero tre. Diciamo pure, quella giusta: continuare a tenersi il founding titan bello stretto e... un gigante di sangue reale. Zeke insiste su questo punto: il prossimo Beast Titan dovrà avere il sangue dei Reiss. Quindi dovrà essere Historia o uno dei suoi figli. Benvenuti a "Il grande impero Eldian restaurato" di Zeke Jaeger Fritz. Praticamente siamo vicini a quel che voleva fare Rod Reiss tranne per il particolare relativo all'unificare Founding e Royal Blood.

Il problema è il tempo. Cinquant'anni sono troppi, Hanji se ne rende conto, mentre seguire il corso degli eventi con una generazione di giganti dal sangue reale sembra così semplice. Così rapido.

Faccio un passetto indietro: non era Zeke che diceva, sulle mura di Eldia a Reiner e Bertholdt "Facciamo in modo che questa storia maledetta finisca", tanto da caricare il povero Bertholdt come un kamikaze fino al suo ultimo respiro, ossessionandolo sul bisogno di finire, qui e ora. Quindi Zeke ha cambiato idea e adesso promuove il ritorno del "gigante di famiglia"? O ha spudoratamente mentito perchè, allora, Bertholdt gli serviva carico ed assassino come un barile di nitroglicerina, impegnato ad infuriare su Shiganshina mentre lui cercava di prendersi Eren?

A levare tutti d'impiccio è Historia che, forse un tantino agendo d'impulso, accetta di essere l'erede del Beast Titan.

L'unico ad opporsi, idealista e forse poco concreto ma, come dargli torto? E' proprio Eren. Sopravvivere DI NUOVO cannibalizzandosi e riproducendosi per forza con adolescenti costretti a mostruose trasformazioni, a vivere nel dolore di aver divorato i propri genitori o i propri fratelli? No grazie. Eren non vuole accettare questo piano. Piuttosto prendere in esame altre opzioni o provare ad utilizzare quelle formulate in maniera diversa. Bravo Eren, saggio e posato. Mi sei piaciuto soprattutto perchè non sei scattato in piedi muggendo e lanciando le sedie. La signora Kyomi molto pacatamente fa presente che non c'è alcun bisogno di decidere subito e che potranno continuare a discuterne usando Zeke come intermediario. Intanto tutti guardano male Eren, Eren è arrabbiatissimo, Historia è sull'orlo delle lacrime perchè sa che Eren ha detto una cosa giusta... ma quanto utile? Forse si sente oltraggiata proprio per essersi offerta così in fretta come una bestia da riproduzione dal sangue speciale?

Sappiamo solo che il seme del dubbio ha attecchito e che questo è esattamente ciò che voleva Zeke.

Torniamo al presente, ad Hanji ed Eren nella prigione. Eren ha appena detto "Non c'era motivo di sacrificare Historia". E' quindi evidente pensare che, alla fine, il piano numero tre sia in qualche modo scattato o stia scattando. Hanji ammette che non c'è stata altra opzione soprattutto per il fatto che i termini di Zeke stanno arrivando (ha pochi mesi di vita) e Marley si sta preparando al contrattacco.

Hanji sperava in questa conversazione, sperava di essere sulla stessa lunghezza d'onda di Eren nonostante le parole dure che gli ha rivolto sul dirigibile, dopo avergli sbattuto in faccia quanto abbia tradito la sua, la loro fiducia. Hanji ci sta riprovando, vuole che Eren nonostante il disastro che ha fatto, torni almeno a pensarla come loro. E invece Eren le fa solo presente che ha divorato il Warhammer Titan e che in men che non si dica potrebbe mandare a gambe per aria tutto il castellino in cui è imprigionato ed uscire. Mette Hanji di fronte alla completa impossibilità di nuocere a lui o a Zeke: i fratelli Jaeger sono inarrestabili ma ancora separati: cosa accadrebbe se fossero finalmente assieme? Levi fa BENE a tenerli lontani, qualcosa di ancora molto oscuro si sta muovendo e forse Eren non ne è al corrente. Il fatto che Eren alzi da terra Hanji e le mostri come potrebbe trasformarsi da un istante con l'altro (non si è nemmeno ferito e quelle cicatrici da titan shifter gli si aprono sulle guance così? Pazzesco) non aiuta il nostra Jaeger Jr. nella sua causa. Si becca del ragazzino in perenne crisi di ribellione adolescenziale. Mentre Hanji mette in dubbio le sue qualità di comandante, troviamo Mikasa ancora al cimitero sulla tomba di Sasha (Sasha è morta, ragazzi, io ancora non riesco a riprendermi) dove assistiamo ad un triste teatrino di un soldato Eldian che sta piangendo i propri morti, che non vuole, su quel terreno, Nikolo, il soldato marlean ostaggio che ha cucinato per Sasha e che ha appena appreso della sua morte. Il soldato viene fermato e Nikolo soccorso da Jean, Connie e Mikasa: lui voleva solo portare dei fiori sulla tomba di Sasha ed è commovente quanto sia incredulo all'idea che sia morta davvero. Ecco la profondità dei personaggi di Isayama: immaginatevi Nikolo che si alza al mattino in una terra di "diavoli" dove è un ostaggio, dove è costretto a fare il cuoco anzichè il soldato. Indossa il suo vestito scuro perchè sta andando al camposanto a trovare Sasha ma, nonostante sia lì, sulla tomba della ragazza, domanda "E' davvero morta Sasha?". Non ci crede. E' la morte quando ti piove addosso e sei costretto a venerci a patti, una parte del tuo cervello pratica e razionale la sta metabolizzando, quella emotiva non ci crede, ti dice che non è possibile, stava bene fino a pochi giorni prima!

E davanti ai volti distrutti di Jean, Mikasa e Connie, Nikolo "il buon marlean" domanda "Cosa avete fatto ragazzi...". E' retorico. Lui era l'esempio di come la pace sarebbe potuta funzionare, di come, prima o poi pur con le dovute difficoltà, forse qualcosa di buono sarebbe nato. Forse però in un mondo senza giganti.

Facciamo la conoscenza anche della famiglia di Sasha: papà Blause lo conosciamo già, un cacciatore tutto d'un pezzo a cui lei era molto affezionata. Quella dietro è la mamma e, accanto, sembra proprio che ci sia la ragazzina bionda che Sasha ha salvato dopo i "fatti di Ragako". Quando qualcuno si fida di Zeke e dà la colpa della morte di Sasha ad Eren è meglio che provi a fare qualche passo indietro sul viale dei ricordi. Chi ha reso orfana questa bambina? Un gigante che ha divorato la sua mamma. Chi era questo gigante? IL PADRE DI CONNIE. Chi ha trasformato il padre di Connie? Zeke.

Se siete arrivati fino qui io vi stimo e vi ringrazi. Sto scrivendo un poema perchè questo numero è DENSISSIMO di fatti importanti.

Dunque, torniamo da Pixis e Yelena: la nostra ragazzona con i suoi uomini accanto (c'è anche uno che sembra Bertholdt post time skip, che cosa carina!) mostra a Pixis i sieri che hanno trafugato da Marley, probabilmente per produrre i Mindless per continuare a passarsi i giganti nel prossimo futuro. Tuttavia Yelena ammette che non è riuscita ad impossessarsi della tecnologia atta a preparare questo siero e che quindi dovranno farsi bastare questa ventina di bottigliette.

Per tutta risposta abbiamo il primo colpo di scena: Pixis fa puntare le armi contro Yelena e i suoi e la ragazza fa presente che loro si sono dimostrati affidabili e sinceri nei passati tre anni e che, come ringraziamento, vengono minacciati dalle stesse armi che hanno importato da Marley. Pixis confessa quindi freddamente di non aver scordato chi sia Zeke Jaeger (e neanche noi!) ma Yelena non si scompone, non ha neanche un momento di debolezza. Si augura solo che un giorno potranno sedere tutti insieme a cena attorno ad un tavolo. Ma a Pixis, come al proverbiale calabrone grasso che vola lo stesso, non frega niente di questa considerazione.

Nel frattempo, l'erede di casa Fritz, il grande buratinaio, il ragno al centro della tela è stato caricato su un carretto con i suoi quattro stracci e dei bidoni e portato nella foresta dei giganti per essere messo in condizioni di non far danni. E lui cosa fa? Ci scherza su. Domanda se è questo il suo "Hotel" (che concetto moderno!) e Levi gli risponde che questo è il posto che gli si addice di più (alberi di ottanta metri per una scimmia di diciassette? Perfetto anche per me, grazie!). Insomma, uscire dalla foresta è difficile, se ti trasformi ce ne accorgiamo, non ci sono neanche i sassi da tirare. In tutta risposta, Zeke è preoccupato quanto un tortellino in brodo e fa presente a Levi ("Hey, Captain Levi...") che vorrebbe tanto mostrare a Falco e Gabi questa meraviglia naturale. Levi torna nella fase Cleverbot ma un po' meno cattivo, gli fa presente solo che i "bambini sono solo nella sua testa" (sembrano una coppietta che litiga #zeviforever) ma poi attenzione, Levi si ammorbidisce ENORMEMENTE e non lascia il concetto appeso, gli dice che se i bambini potranno vedere o no questo magnifico spettacolo della natura, dipenderà solo da lui. Se fa il bravo, in sostanza.

Attento Levi, attento perchè Zeke cerca sempre il punto debole.

Ma parlavamo di bambini, giusto? Durante una finta crisi epilettica, Gabi frantuma la testa di un povero soldato e si dà alla fuga seguita dal povero Falco, vittima delle circostanze. I due bambini che Zeke ha definito "imprevisti" ora sono davvero la variabile impazzita nella nostra storia e nel suo piano.

Negli ultimi palpiti della storia, vediamo i nostri stanchi ragazzi del lato Marlean delle cose: Porco che s'è curato con svariate bottiglie di vino, Pieck che sembra afflitta da una tristezza cronica (e ricordiamo che è quasi morta) e Reiner. Reiner che quando si risveglia sembra riposato quanto ratto rabbioso. Un altro indizio che Reiner abbia sviluppato ulteriormente una o più altre personalità ce l'abbiamo per l'assenza di ricordi della battaglia: il suo ultimo ricordo sono Falco e Gabi che invocavano il suo nome per salvare Lady Tybur e Porco e, a quel punto, qualcosa o qualcuno dentro di lui si è svegliato, ha messo insieme quanto di più vicino all'Armored ed è uscito per mettere a posto le cose. Chi glielo dirà ora che tutti i suoi bambini sono andati, due morti orribilmente e due rapiti?

E questo gonfio tramonto rosso che sembra addirittura molto orientale, di fronte al quale una Historia pensierosa, disillusa e visibilmente incinta viene invitata ad aver più attenzione per il proprio stato, che cosa ci vuol suggerire?

"La tragedia, intrapresa dal momento della nascita, sta iniziando il conto alla rovescia per una reazione a catena". E con questo Isayama mette un'intera mandria di bufali sulla graticola e si aspetta che entro la fine del manga ci mangiamo tutto quanto. Io, personalmente, sono molto pronta. E voi? Vi è piaciuto questo capitolo?

Personalmente lo stato interessante di Historia è shocckante, chi sarà il padre??

Come sempre, ci vediamo qui ad agosto che anzichè di fare i tuffi a bomba in piscina, quest'anno starò qui a scrivere e a godermi la terza stagioneh!
