Would Levi let these people babysit your kid?

Erwin: He would but only for a few hours, he trusts Erwin with a lot of things but his kid? Not so much. Erwin never held a baby, he wouldn't be able to handle a toddler and Levi is afraid thay Erwin would forget about your kids since he is busy with work.

Hange: He trusts them too just not with his kid, even if his kid has fun anytime they babysit them, he has to explain to them that they can't experiment anywhere near his kid.

Nanaba: Yes and surprisingly she is good with kids. Although it takes her a bit to get comfortable around the kid, she manages. You have to ask her twice, it is kind of hard to convince her.

Miche: So so, unlike Nanaba, Miche isn't good with kids, he would be like a silent guardian watching over the kid like a hwak.

Moblit: Out of everyone, Levi would definitely let Moblit babysit. He knows how caring Moblit can be, he still warns him not to drink around your child tho.

His squad: Yes, they don't let him down in anything so he has no problem leaving them to look after his child. Petra is especially sweet with the kid.

Eren: Actually he would but would check up every 15 minutes to make sure that Eren's dumb ass isn't messing up.

Mikasa: He would, she would care and be careful with his kid more than anyone in that squad. She is also has a soft spot for the kid despite denying so.

Connie, Jean: You have to beg him for this if there is no other option. Levi explains to them 300 times what they can and can't do. Connie is also good with kids, he has siblings too so he can handle the little Ackerman, most of the time at least.

Sasha: Yes, she knows how to handle kids because she has younger siblings and is funny so your kid would have fun. Levi isn't surprised that the lunch box from his kid is empty for once.

Historia: He would, she is sweet and besides, she can use it as training when she has her own.

Ymir: Nope. She said "Fuck them kids" and Levi doesn't even try asking.

Kenny: Absolutely not. Do I even need to explain why not?

I think everyone in Levi's squad appreciated him and liked him, but was too scared to actually tell him

They did for sure! It's pretty evident that Petra admired Levi a lot and had a lot of respect for him. His whole squad did, they trusted him more than anyone. I wish we got to see more of them tho, they were all so interesting to me and it clearly hurt Levi a lot when he lost them. And I think Levi knew it too especially since Petra's father told him how much she admired him, that scene hurts so bad.

I still find it sad that these 30 Scouts were the last remaining good soldiers of the branch that didn't disobey their commanding officers

My best guess, after rebuilding the Survey Corps after retaking Wall Maria, due to the lack of veterans, Levi now had to be a commanding officer of a larger unit rather than a small elite team.

Though, given that these 30 soldiers were assigned to guard Zeke with Levi, means that they have to be very skilled enough in order to be given that task. Meaning Levi trained them hard into REAL Scouts

Ahh, this snippet of a scene in Chapter 136, i've always wished there would be more stories during the time of the vets. Seeing them gathered around the campfire, and seeing this is a memory reminisced by Levi at such a time makes it so sad knowing how much these moments are being cherished and remembered. I can hear So ist es emmer playing softly in the background as i see this. 😭

So imagine my happiness discovering someone who created a storyline of this particular scene. It is all i have all hoped it to be and more.

It's so beautiful and unfortunately the creator does not allow reposting it so im sharing the twitter link below. The thread is in 3 parts and shows a story that is amazing and bittersweet. Just all of them huddled together, telling stories and Levi nonchalantly sharing something that made them all laugh out loud so much. It is a moment that is so simple and yet so meaningful.

You just have to see it, it's wonderful 🤍

I dont know why snk especially the vets time affects me so much. It's like what Levi just said, that it was a time when they dreamt an exhaustingly idealistic world. Full of hope, purpose and pure determination, and then presented with the sharp edge of reality of the world at large. Everytime i think about it just makes me damn cry.

Isayama created something really so cruel yet beautiful.

And maybe like Levi, i also long for such simpler times.
