story revolves around iverea maryon, who is the younger cousin of brelyna maryon, and iida maryon, brelyna’s rambunctious twin sister who happens to be the dragonborn

to start with iverea, she’s a quiet little dunmer who is trying to find iida because of the whole “miraak enslaving solstheim oh no” thing, but is Hopelessly Lost because the extremely flirty and childish stray altmer she picked up along the way (her name is korira) keeps getting distracted and thus she keeps getting distracted

“ive…please!! the little kids are being tortured by the evil old woman! can we kill her pretty please…”

so yeah, they start the dark brotherhood quest by accident LOL

and iida, who is going through the main questline, is in immense shit because she Hates Politics and just wants to go home to her wife and kids ;((

thus a massive goose chase across skyrim: iverea trying to Stop Becoming An Assassin, iida trying to solve problems too big for her little sapphic self, and korira who is being a pain in iverea’s ass (but they love each other anyway)

thats basically it but i will probbaly flesh it out more over the coming days

i might also make a new side blog (probably will be called gaylittledragonborn so look out for that lol) for JUST skyrim things so uh yeah

haha no not yet, but i absolutely would LOVE to one day !!!!!!!

13.  Describe your writing process from idea to polished

OOOO OKAY OKAY. so usually it starts from either watching a piece of media that inspires a random Thought (usually “what if something was different”) and im like OMFG I HAVE TO WRITE THIS. occasionally i get inspiration from my dreams tho

and then i usually just, write a few sentences (i usually get these random ideas when i’m out so i can’t do much), and when i go to bed i sort of…expand on the idea WHILE im trying to sleep (which loses me a lot of hours of sleep but WHATEVER)

if an idea is important enough that i remember it the next morning, it goes straight into my drafts. does not matter how stupid it is, if it’s a funny line i have to include or a whole plotline. it will go in the draft.

then i just…write, i guess. usually make a whole playlist to try and get the ~vibe~ and yeah

i don’t edit my stuff often (because otherwise i will stare at it until i absolutely hate it and delete it), but when i do, it’s usually to find synonyms for words i thought were Ugly or Un-Vibe-Fitting.

21.  Who is/are your favourite character(s) to write?

hmmmm funnee question…i write a bit of kpop stuff, usually twice or other girl groups. but i also write a bit of squid game (the LESBIANS), and (as of now) some skyrim. in skyrim i tend to lean a lot towards ysolda and brelyna because omg i love them so much

24.  Favourite genre to write and read

HMM well i love reading a lot of fluffy happy stuff usually, but with plot, because it hooks me in easier and also ensures i won’t need the tissues. that said, i still love fantasy book with bittersweet endings because (a) i will cry my lungs out and (b) the plot twists are usually *chef’s kiss*

i love writing angst more though. like, it’s just so easy! i have the bad tendency to kill off characters i love the most. which is funny because i absolutely adore my skyrim oc korira (she’s basically me but better yet flawed), so maybe she will d—

the curse, the blessing, the love

hellooooo yall its @tes-summer-fest day THREEEEEEE

with our disaster lesbians after a long, hard day doing whatever the hell they do which usually includes some form of calamity. so uh here

some context; korira was possessed by somethign that wanted to kill iverea, she’s still shaken about it, stuff ensues

The moonlight dapples their campsite with a gentle silver glow, glistening off the water running through the river, catching Korira’s golden hair— she’s beautiful.

The Altmer girl is lying on her side, eyes closed, breathing quietly. She’s tired, as is normal for one who has been through what she has. Iverea has always admired how her sometimes-annoying stubbornness somehow bleeds into every other aspect of her. Korira is so strong.

It’s hard to think that she could’ve lost her. Iverea still feels shivers run down her spine at the memory; seeing Korira’s usually happy eyes a deep, bone-chilling red, seeing her reach out with hands that weren’t hers, seeing her lunge for her neck with surprising agility and clawed fingers.

That wasn’t Korira. That wasn’t the girl Iverea has come to know, has come to care for, over the past months. That wasn’t the girl she loves.

That was a monster.

(“What if…” Korira had said when the colour flooded back into her eyes, scrambling back from Iverea, putting distance between them, “what if I am the curse…? I…I don’t want to hurt you, Ive…”

Iverea had moved carefully towards her, even as Korira flinched. If she reached out, she would be able to touch Korira’s cheek. “You’re not a curse, Korira.” A smile. “You’re the blessing.”)

Iverea is shaken from her moonlit thoughts when she feels the Altmer shift beside her, and wonders…

“…what would you do if I said that I love you?”

Iverea expects silence, expects the soft snore of her amber-eyed companion, and she gently lies on her side, before hearing:

“Then I would say that I love you too.”

The last thing Iverea feels is warmth, and Korira’s warm breath behind her ear.
