Penny and Don. When a character admits to being a smuggler straight to the captain of a spaceship to save the life of the kid? Instant older brother acquisition acquired. Penny go get your parents, there's a new Robinson that needs to be adopted.

Maleficent and Aurora. That unfortunate situation where one curses a toddler to fall asleep forever on their 16th birthday only to end up loving that child like a daughter and being unable to break her own curse because 'no power on Earth' can do it. Oh how the turntables turntable... 🥺. And how I just EAT THAT STUFF UP!

Crowley and Warlock. It's kinda sad how much I love this one considering there's like 5 minutes of on-screen interaction. BUT I love the angst potential of Warlock having felt abandoned by his Nanny Ashtoreth and coming across Crowley and just... recognizing him on sight.

When they decided to add Greek mythology characters to the series. 

Hale/Kenzi/Massimo plot line 

The fact Evony is not allowed to be an actual threat to Bo and Lauren due to how brainlessly horny she is in later seasons. 

Vex never allowed to be a proper part of the group until he dates Dyson’s son.

okay i’ll talk a little bit about bo/tamsin or “valkubus” as i believe the fandom calls them because the love triangle is just, too big a can of worms for me to open on this particular night,

so it’s a little bit of a complicated thing because i for the most part... really like tamsin’s arc in season 3?? i have some issues with her relationship with bo specifically (i think the... idk, fervency of tamsin’s feelings for her, ie “you’re not like anyone i’ve ever met, in any of my lifetimes” is a bit underdeveloped but that’s uh, par for the course with Bo Ships -- i also think it kinda sucks that so much of the focus went there when tamsin and dyson’s dynamic started out so strong). but i like the idea of tamsin falling in love and being really conflicted about her mission because of it, and i think it brought good enough character stuff out of her to make the whole thing worth it!

i just wish it had ended when tamsin died that season. there was really no need to continue it into tamsin’s reincarnation arc. like. the show has always been about (well not SOLELY, but you know what i mean) the bo/dyson/laurel love triangle that adding in this extra element of someone ELSE being in love with bo feels like narrative weight we don’t need, for one thing. for another, like... god, like, let tamsin move on with her life??

tamsin was dealt a lot of shitty hands and she finally got a chance for a happy life and a support system and to bog it down with this unrequited love stuff that she can’t seem to get over was just... eugh. and a lot of it doesn’t really paint bo in a super likeable light. let dyson and tamsin be a thing. or just let... tamsin exist without a love interest if nothing else; her dynamic with kenzi was strong enough for that to have been her main drive

and then, if there was any redeemability to bo/tamsin at all as a pairing it kind of drained away in season 5 when uh. well i’ve already told you what happened with that, but suffice to say THAT elevated it from “ship that’s just kind of boring and unnecessary and unpleasant for the characters involved” to “something that becomes actively uncomfortable to think about”

basically just, i’m a tamsin stan and i think she deserves better, shh

10.  Is there a fandom you read fic from but don’t write in?

Oh tons! Glee, Leverage, Stranger Things, Harry Potter, X-Men if it’s related to The New Mutants, sometimes MCU stuff. I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting. And yes I still read Glee because the w/w fic there, if you weed through the bad, can be incredible.

16. Are their any popular ships in your fandom which you dislike?

Buffy/Spike and Buffy/Angel for Buffy. I don’t like either. 

Bo/Lauren and Bo/Dyson for Lost Girl, because I can SEE potential but Bo should be poly because it’s in her nature to need multiple sexual partners and neither of them seem to get that? They’re both like “I want Bo, no I want Bo, no you take Bo, no YOU take Bo” like just fucking accept that you can BOTH bang Bo like what the hell guys, communicate better. I don’t really ship Bo/Tamsin but at least Tamsin just liked Bo and didn’t make it a BO issue. I’m so glad I didn’t get invested in any romance on this show and watched for the Bo and Kenzi relationship.

Most ships in the MCU because of their fandom.

19. Is there a ship which you wished you could get behind, but you just don’t feel them?

Nate/Sophie, Buffy/Willow, Nico/Karolina from Hulu’s Runaways (i haven’t finished the season tho), Myka/HG, Korra/Asami.

Some of those I don’t even know why, it’s not that I DON’T ship them but I don’t feel that PULL you get, you know? That last one I felt for a few months after the show finished but it didn’t continue, which really saddens me.

Also Q/Eliot in fic. Like, I love them in the show, I LOVE THEM, but fandom has ruined m/m fanfiction for me, and also I get unfair-peeved when I see yet another Queliot fic and all I want is for other characters to get SO MUCH MORE fic. I know I know, it’s unfair! I’m sorry! I’m also working to Be The Change I Want In The World and I’m working on fic about other characters so I’m trying here!
