I'm not saying that I've watched this episode of Lost Girl (4x01) hundreds of times but I can quote it word for word and describe each minute expression and why it's my favorite.

Seriously. These two. The constant complimenting. The protective tendencies. The sexual tension. Never. Over. It.

I'm just sorry the episode cuts off right as Dyson and Kenzi pick up the compass. Such a shame.

Prize (Vex/Shifter!Reader)

Requested by Anon.

The thick scent of sweat, alcohol, and cologne assaulted your nostrils as you pushed your way through the club. It was dingy, dark, and dirty, exactly how he liked things. You’d agreed to come along with your father Dyson on this little mission to find Vex, but you were quickly regretting it. There was a thrill of your father finding out that you’d spent much more time around the dark haired Fae than you’d let on, but you weren’t sure if the repercussions would be worth it. You were supposed to be light after all.

“He’d like to speak with you.” You followed one of Vex’s goons to a private room in the back. There was no doubt that Dyson was still looking around for Vex while trying to contain Kenzi. You were safe for at least 5 minutes, this was a big place and there was a lot of different things going on, so Dyson would be distracted. You smiled a little when you saw him sitting on his little couch, much nicer than the ones in the main part of the club.

“This hunt thing we’ve got going on is fun. What’s my prize?” Vex asked and you crossed your arms, frowning at him. “So much like your daddy.”

“Gross,” you muttered as he leaned forward, reaching for your hand. You met him halfway and he pressed a light kiss to your hand before pulling you onto his lap. “So, what mess have you managed to tangle yourself up in now?”

“Do you know what my favorite part of you being here is?” Vex asked and you shook your head. “It’s the fact that every single time you come into one of my clubs, you’re looking for me. You get this determined look on your face, like I’m the prize of some royal hunt. It’s adorable, it really is, but I think I like hunting you a little bit better.”

“I’m not a prize Vex,” you said, sitting up a bit. You began to get up, but he pulled you in for a quick kiss, holding onto your hand for a moment or two longer than necessary. “I should be getting back.”

“Come find me again,” Vex said and you nodded. You gave him a small smile as you left and fell back into the crowd of the club. You would have to find Vex later tonight, hopefully getting more time with him then.
