Super (Kara Danvers/Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Are you sure that you want to do this?” Lena asked and you nodded. “It could kill you.”
“But it won’t, you’d never let me die,” you said and Lena sighed. “Have a little faith in yourself. You’re a freaking genius.”
“Lay down and relax, deep breath in,” Lena instructed and you complied. Before you could take the deep breath out, she injected you with a serum. It was experimental, but Alex, Lena, and a whole team of scientists had been working on it, so you had a pretty good feeling about everything. “You’ll need to stay in this cell until we’re certain that it bound itself to your cells.”
“What happens if it doesn’t?” Lena made an explosion motion with her hand and you took a deep breath.
“Relax, have a little faith in me. I wouldn’t have let you know about this if I wasn’t sure you’d survive it,” Lena promised you. She left you in the cell and every single hour on the dot somebody would come in and check your vitals as well as take a swab. This continued for almost a week before Alex took you somewhere more private to train.
“If you can’t fly, how are you gonna teach me to fly?” You crossed your arms over your chest as you questioned Alex’s knowledge on your powers.
“I grew up with Kara. Do you want me to ask her in here to help you?” Alex offered and you shook your head. “Today isn’t about flying, it’s about basic combat skills.”
“I did this whole thing so that I could take Kara flying,” you said and Alex pinched the bridge of her nose. “She takes me all the time and I never get to take her. It isn’t fair. Besides, I think it’s super romantic.”
“It is, but that’s besides the point,” Alex said, giving you a little smile. You worked out a schedule for training that allowed you to spend time with Kara and keep working your job. You didn’t live with Kara, which definitely helped out with you keeping your powers a secret. Nothing with Kara had been made difficult, up until you started receiving extra attention from Lena, who just wanted to make sure nothing was overwhelming you. You didn’t have Kryptonian powers, but you had superhuman strength, speed, and some shaky flight powers that might have just been really impressive jumps.
“(Y/n), hey, do you have a minute?” Kara asked you. She grabbed onto your shoulder and seemed perplexed when you didn’t stop walking. You did stop after a couple of steps and turn to see what it was she wanted. “There’s something different about you. Did something happen when you went to those labs?”
“I’m fine Kara, actually I’m better than fine. Tonight, I think it’d be a good idea if you met me on the roof,” you said and Kara agreed. She spent the rest of the day “secretly” fretting over you when she could. After work, the two of you met on the roof with a six pack of soda and three pizzas.
“Okay, what is this about?” Kara asked and you grabbed a slice of pizza and a can of soda. You ate the pizza as you ran and jumped off the roof, causing her to immediately panic. She watched as you landed safely on your feet and then threw the soda back up to her. You jumped up from the ground and back onto the roof of the building. “You have superpowers.”
“The flying isn’t flying though, but yeah I do. I hope you don’t mind I kept this from you,” you said and Kara started laughing.
“Never jump off a building without prefacing that it won’t end in your imminent death please,” Kara said and you smiled at her.
“I won’t,” you promised. She kissed you softly and then dragged you back over to the pizzas. “Alex and Lena are working on getting me a suit so I’ll really be like a Super.”
“I think the two of us are gonna make a great team,” Kara said and you nodded, smiling.

Impress (Alex Danvers/Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The world seemed to be in a constant disarray. In all honesty, it had never been perfect, but compared to what it had very recently been, things were going pretty well. Still, it was fucked up enough for you to find yourself in one of the few bars in town where you felt you belonged. You weren’t an alien, but people seemed to be a lot more accepting here and the drinks were less expensive than most of the other bars and clubs in the city.
“Oops, sorry.” You turned your head to see a very cute blonde with glasses standing next to you. She had bumped into you and you could tell that this was an actual accident. “I’ll get you a new drink, I’m really sorry. I’m Kara.”
“(Y/n) (Y/l/n),” you said, shaking her hand. “It’s fine, I shouldn’t be drinking now anyways. Not great strategy to get drunk before a game day.”
“Game day?” Kara asked and you nodded.
“Yep, you’re looking at the star forward of the National City Nighthawks. We honestly don’t generate a lot of press,” you said and Kara smiled.
“You can join my friends and I if you’d like. I’m not drinking tonight and we’re pretty fun company. Beats hanging out alone and you can tell us all about the Nighthawks,” Kara offered and you agreed. Something about her was very difficult to say no to, but you didn’t really care. She brought you over to her table and introduced you to her group of friends, Lena, Brainy, Nia, and Alex.
“So, you’re a professional hockey player?” Lena asked and you made a face.
“Professional is a stretch. I mean, we’re NWHL sponsored, but it doesn’t feel like much more than a recreational league sometimes. There are a lot of problems, I honestly wish we’d get bought out or the NHL would fund us,” you said and Lena nodded. “I’d like to think that if we had funding and better resource management, we’d be able to draw in crowds and revenue, but nobody seems to want to give us a chance.”
“Perhaps L-Corp could do something about that,” Lena said and you were shocked. “I’d have to see your team play first, when’s your next game?”
“Tomorrow,” you said, dumbfounded. You told them a bit about what you normally did at games, what time your game was, and how much tickets were. By the end of the night, you were a few more beers in than you had been before as you walked back to your apartment, thinking about your new friends. Brainy had been insanely smart and a bit awkward, which was endearing. His girlfriend was gorgeous and funny, reminding you a lot of Kara. It was obvious to you that Kara and Lena had something going on by how the brunette kept one hand on the blonde at all times and how Kara leaned into her touch. Alex seemed pretty single and just your type.
The next day you got a text from Kara wishing you good luck and you forgot that you’d even exchanged numbers with her. Your practice had went very well and before you knew it, it was game time. You would be playing the Connecticut Whales and while you had a few pre-game jitters, you knew that you would do good. You noticed Kara and her friends sitting in the front row and you played, wanting to prove to Lena that you were worth funding. And maybe, just maybe, you wanted to impress Alex. By the end of the game the score was 5-3 in the Nighthawk’s favor with an impressive hat trick for yourself. Surprisingly, this was your first game in a few seasons where you hadn’t been to the penalty box.
“Why is Lena Luthor in our locker room?” One of your teammates asked you. You pulled off your torso padding and stood up to greet her, noticing Alex checking you out behind her.
“What’d you think?” you asked them, playing with the ties on your hockey pants.
“You’re very skilled, it was entertaining,” Lena said and Kara nodded in agreement. “I’m happy to provide your league with funding and whatever else it needs.”
“Wait a minute, is that why you were on your best behavior?” You rolled your eyes at your teammate’s question, hoping she’d shut her mouth, but of course, she didn’t. “I knew something had to be up. I swear, she’s a wild one out there, normally she’s in the penalty box a couple times a game. She’s what makes it interesting, very aggressive.”
“Thank you, shut up now before she gets a demonstration!” You clapped your hands together and your teammate got the hint. You turned back to everybody else and smiled. “Drinks?”
“Definitely,” Alex answered and you smiled.
“Just let me shower and then I’ll meet you guys in the parking lot,” you said and they left. You showered quickly, changed, and then went out to meet them. You guys went back to Alex’s apartment instead of a bar, Lena and Kara going to pick up extra booze. “That yours?”
“Yeah,” Alex said, leaning against a really nice motorcycle. “You ride?”
“Nope, I have to keep this body as safe as possible,” you said, leaning against your car. “I did have a Vespa though, but it broke down a couple months ago, so I got a real car.”
“There’s not really a lot of parking at my place, if you want I can give you a ride, it’s very safe,” Alex said and you agreed to riding with her. You were glad that you had a parking pass so you could keep your car there overnight. You got on the back of the motorcycle and held on tightly to Alex’s waist as she drove you to her place. You could feel her abs through her shirt and it was hot, you wanted to know what she did to get a body like that.
“How did they beat us?” you asked as Alex let you into her apartment. Kara and Lena were sitting on the couch, cuddled up next to each other. There was an open bottle of some really nice whiskey on the table. “Damn, the nicer bottle in my apartment is some Crown Royal a teammate left once.”
“Just accept it,” Alex whispered in your ear, pouring two glasses. She handed one to you and you cheers to what could be described as one of the best nights of your life. “So, what got you into hockey?”
“Always loved it, then I took a trip to Canada when I was little and saw how aggressive they played. That was when I really fell for it. I’m sure my mom would have liked me to play soccer or softball, something a bit less nerve wracking for a parent,” you said with a chuckle.
“That was kind of scary,” Kara said and you shrugged. “Aren’t you afraid of something really bad happening?”
“Nope,” you said nonchalantly. “Yeah, there’s always the chance of injury, but even in the moment, we’re careful not to end somebody else’s career early. I can show you guys some moves later if you want, we can even get out on the ice. It’d be a great way to really get involved in your newest investment.”
“Alright, I’m in,” Lena said and Kara and Alex agreed to join in as well. The four of you chatted and drank for a couple of hours, Kara getting a very tipsy Lena back to her apartment while you stretched out on the couch, your  head on Alex’s lap.
“This is comfy,” you said and Alex nodded. “So, are you a hockey fan now?”
“Yeah, I am,” Alex admitted and you sat up a bit, smiling at her. The two of you were very close, not even a foot apart. “There was a very impressive player, scored a hat trick even.”
“Well, maybe she was trying to impress this cute redhead,” you said and Alex closed to gap between the two of you. The kiss was firm, she knew what she wanted and so did you, but there was a playfulness to it that you didn’t expect. “I suppose this means I impressed.”
“It does,” Alex said and you mentally high fived yourself.

Modern Day Amazon (Wonder Woman x Wayne!Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There were a lot of upsides and downsides to being Bruce Wayne’s daughter. One of the upsides was that you were rich and had a superhero as a dad. A big part of that upside was that you got to meet other superheroes, including Aquaman, Superman, Flash, and Wonder Woman. A downside to that was that you had developed a huge crush on Wonder Woman, but couldn’t really act on it. To be fair, everybody had a bit of a crush on Wonder Woman when they met her, but yours had been festering since you were a teenager, but now you were a grown woman of 20.
“(Y/n)!” Barry yelled excitedly, running to hug you. You hugged him back before the rest of your dad’s superhero buddies came over. The Justice League had always been a pretty big part of your life and you wanted nothing more than to train as a superhero to one day join them, but the closest you had ever gotten to that was a self-defense lesson your dad gave you before you went off to summer camp. “Any closer in joining us on the field?”
“Not a chance,” Bruce interrupted and you rolled your eyes.
“Wait, I want to do it this time,” you said, holding your hand up to silence your father. “It’s too dangerous for you out there. I could never forgive myself if something happened to you. We have enough heroes out there. You’ve proven yourself in other ways. Did I miss anything?”
“(Y/n), you know don’t know what’s out there,” Bruce said and you sighed. He was coming up with new things.
“Neither do you,” Wonder Woman said and you perked up at the sound of her voice. “Bruce, you can’t leave her here her entire life. Let her train, if you’d like, she can receive Amazon training.”
“Yeah, I’ll be a modern day Amazon!” You were excited at the idea of training, especially like an Amazon. “Dad please, I promise that I’ll be smart about what I do out there. No rushing headfirst into danger without a plan. I just want to help people.”
“There are other, safer ways of helping,” Bruce said and Arthur put a hand on his shoulder.
“She’s an adult and look at that. You can see it in her eyes, she’s a natural born hero Bruce,” Arthur said and you were glad he was on your side.
“Yeah, I am an adult, I’m going to Themyscira whether you want me to or not.” You stood your ground and he sighed, knowing he’d finally been beaten on this issue.
“I will personally take up her training Bruce,” Diana said, putting an arm around your shoulders.
“I know,” Bruce said, slightly more relieved.
You packed up your things for your trip with Diana while your father did his superhero stuff with the Justice League. You were sent off with some snacks and a heartfelt goodbye from your father. In all honesty, he was being dramatic, but then again, that was his signature move in your book. Themyscira was absolutely gorgeous when you arrived and you were immediately in awe of everything.
“This is your home?” You asked Diana in disbelief. “When do we start training?”
“Eager, I like it, but first you should get some rest,” Diana said, showing you to what would be your room for your stay. You did rest and then she had you up at first light to begin training. Over the course of months, she trained in sword fighting, archery, hand to hand combat, the use of spears, and then some more unconventional weaponry. As you got stronger, so did your feelings towards her. It had become almost unbearable until one day everything seemed to shift and the weight of your crush felt so much lighter.
“What are we doing today?” you asked when Diana came to get you at first light. You hadn’t been a morning person, but when she was waking you up, suddenly you didn’t mind. Besides, the sunrises here were unlike anything you’d ever gotten to see before. “It’s been a hot minute since we’ve sparred.”
“Patience, I’ll tell you what we are doing when we get where we need to be,” Diana said and you wordlessly followed her. The two of you made your way across the island, which was quite a feat in itself, before you settled on a cliff that overlooked the a beach that you hadn’t seen before.
“This is gorgeous,” you said and Diana set a plastic bag in front of you. She motioned for you to open it, so you did, surprised to see snacks inside.
“You’ve been doing remarkable with your training, so I got you a reward. I flew to get them last night, hopefully you like them,” Diana said, sounding somewhat nervous.
“Thank you, I love them,” you said, opening a package of sour gummy worms. You offered her some and sat back, watching the waves crash into the shoreline.
“I think you are ready to get out there,” Diana said and you shrugged. “If it is okay, I would like to protect the world with you.”
“Even though I can’t stop bullets with shiny metal wristbands?” Diana shoved you lightly and you dramatically fell onto her lap.
“I thought you said a modern day Amazon does just fine with high tech body armor,” Diana teased and you nodded. She glanced down at you and her smile fell, but not in a bad way. She looked at your lips and you felt the urge to lean up and kiss her. Luckily for both of you, following your urges was something that you were a lot better at than restraining yourself, so you did. Her lips were soft and perfect, but what else could be expected of a literal goddess. “That’s a good note to end our date on.”
“Definitely,” you said, unaware that this had been a date, but realizing now that it could have easily been assumed. “We’ve got a world to protect.”
“Also, Bruce and Victor are almost done with your suit. We’ll have to test to see how you move in it,” Diana said and you knew that meant sparring.
“Let’s get a move on then,” you said excitedly. You were ready to go out into the world and be a superhero, protecting the world with Diana by your side.

Lady Killer (Lena Luthor x Reader)
Whenever you took a job, you never thought to ask about who was employing you. It didn’t really matter, as long as you got paid. Something about this one, however, felt a little different. You always had your client’s information, in case a payment wasn’t completed, but even though you were certain a job this big would mean a large payoff, you kept it anyways. Normally you just went after scumbags and rich assholes who had it coming anyways, but this time, your target was far from it. You’d been hired to kill Lena Luthor.
You scoped out your target, getting her schedule down to figure out the most efficient and easiest way to take her out. She was a big name, so this couldn’t look like a straight up murder. You had to be smart about this, so you sat back for a bit and watched her. Your client could wait a bit, you weren’t exactly somebody who could be bossed around. They were asking you for help after all. So, after months of watching her and taking notes on her day to day life, you had learned a lot about her.
For starters, she didn’t deserve to be killed. She seemed like a lovely woman, so you went back and looked on your client’s information. You couldn’t find a single thing on them or their organization. Which caused you to do some digging, where you came up empty. The second thing you’d learned was that she had it kinda rough. Her best friend was lying to her about being the cousin of her brother’s nemesis. Then there was the mess of her family, which you backed out almost immediately. In conclusion, you’d decided that sparing her life would be worth potentially having to look over both your shoulder and hers for the rest of your lives.
That was how you found yourself sitting outside of her apartment. She had come home from work early, which was a rarity, but you were glad to see it. Even if she didn’t know it, she had one more person looking out for her. You went back on the contract, which had resulted in a few threats, but you weren’t too worried about those in all honesty. It was her life that you were scared for, if they hired you, they wanted her dead. You were about to turn in for the night when you saw someone enter her apartment from a window. Quickly and quietly, you followed them in, catching them just as they reached the hallway. She was in the kitchen or living room, so she had no idea they, or you, were in her apartment. Without a breath or second thought, you snapped their neck, catching the body as it fell. You were about to drag the body out when you heard a gasp.
“I can explain this,” you said, dropping the body onto the floor. “I was protecting you, I swear.”
“W-what are you doing in my apartment?” Lena asked and you tried to calm yourself down a bit. She was panicking and for some odd reason it made you panic as well. “Who the hell are you?”
“Most people call me Lady Killer. I don’t kill other women, but it’s more that I’m a lady that kills people. I’ve got a lot to explain, can we sit somewhere?” Lena took you into her living room and you sat down on her couch.
“Get to explaining before I call the police,” Lena said, arms crossed in front of her chest.
“So I was hired to kill you by somebody, not sure who yet, still trying to figure that one out for myself. Anywho, I kinda stalked you to figure out the best way to do the job, but then I decided not to and cancelled it. I’ve been watching your back for a couple months now, there’s been like 10 of these assholes after you, but this is the first one to make a house call. Look, it’s my fault you’re in this mess and I’m just trying to get you out of it, I promise. If you want, I’ll stay as far away from you as possible, but I’m not leaving you unprotected,” you said and Lena’s look softened.
“I’m not too happy with this situation, but thank you. You can stay inside if you’d like, might make things easier,” Lena offered and you nodded. “Thank you for keeping me alive.”
“No problem, nice change of pace honestly,” you said with a chuckle. “Now, I’ve got a body to deal with and you should get to bed. People make better decisions when they aren’t sleep deprived.”
“If I made better decisions would I really have let an assassin stay in my apartment with me alone and unarmed?” Lena asked and you had to admit that for a genius, that was a dumb decision.
“Go sleep, I’ll have a cover up as your assistant for tomorrow,” you said and Lena stayed on her couch. “Most people sleep in their bed.”
“There’s a dead body between me and my bedroom,” Lena pointed out and you immediately went to take care of it before taking a station by her window to make sure nobody else was coming.

(Artemis x Reader)
Requested by @bloatedandlonly
You had been assigned to help the Outlaws on their latest mission. You hadn’t been briefed on what you were doing, but you knew that it was important. You may have been one of the youngest agents, but you were well-decorated and respected at the bureau. There was a way that you conducted business that made sure the job you were given would get done in a timely and clean fashion.
To prepare for the mission, you trained with the Outlaws. While Bizzaro and Red Hood were fun to train with, you loved training with Artemis. Truth be told, you had developed a slight crush on her, but that wouldn’t be getting in the way of the mission. The two of you spent the amount of time necessary together and didn’t try to push any personal relationships further. Both of you respected the other’s efforts at professionalism. Bizzaro and Red Hood, however, did not.
“Hey, want to go catch a movie with Artemis and me tonight?” Jason asked and you raised an eyebrow at him. “It can be at the theater or like, not.”
“Jason, are you hitting on me for you or for Artemis?” You sat up a bit and he backed away from you. You were intimidating, but it helped with the job, a lot. “Because we went over this, you aren’t my type pal.”
“I know that, but Artemis totally is your type and you’d be adorable together,” Jason pleaded and you sighed. “Besides, you’ll be here for a few more days at the very least and you don’t want to miss your chance.”
“Maybe if the circumstances were different and we weren’t affiliated by work,” you said and Jason groaned. “If that’s all, I’m going to go train.”
“Alright, but no promises that a certain clone won’t be trying to get Artemis to ask you out,” Jason said and you grabbed your bag and left. He must’ve warned Bizzaro to scram before you got there because Artemis looked relieved, yet annoyed and nobody else was in sight.
“They bothering you too?” Artemis asked and you nodded. “Why can’t they let us be?”
“Because they’re pushy, but they seem to really care,” you said and Artemis sighed. The two of you had worked into a routine, but it had made you much better. The way she fought was unlike anything you’d really gone up against before and she seemed to enjoy the many challenges you were capable up putting her up against.
After your sparring session, you went back to your room to look over the tactic report you’d made for yourself. Artemis would stop by in the morning to look at it, or you would bring it to her. Jason and Bizzaro would probably wait until the last minute to come and look, but you knew they wouldn’t ignore it. Tactics weren’t technically your expertise, but your time on the field had helped you to grasp a basic understanding of everything.
The days leading up to the mission were both intense and relaxed. You, like always, crawled into yourself a bit, despite Jason and Bizzaro’s attempts to stop you. Artemis let you be, but mainly because you continued to train with her. Finally, the day came and you did your part, which was just backup, but backup was often important. When you got the signal, you went in and made sure that everything  went according to plan. As you were about to part ways, Artemis stopped you, the two of you falling behind Jason and Bizzaro.
“So, you’re gonna go off now and do your thing...” Artemis trailed off and you nodded. “Do you think there’s time for us to grab a coffee or something? I mean, we’re not working together anymore.”
“I’ll be in town until tomorrow evening, brunch sounds nice,” you said and Artemis smiled at you.
“Until then.” Artemis kissed you softly, arms falling around your back. When she backed away, both of you were a little breathless.
“Until then,” you repeated back to her, but more to yourself as she walked away.

Ookay, so could I please request a Artemis ( from RHATO rebirth) x fem reader where the reader ( one of the youngest time burrow agents) is assigned to temporarily help the outlaws on some mission. Artemis has the a huge crush on the reader but the reader remain strictly professional and avoids talking about anything not mission related. So Jason and bizzaro try to push both of them together
It'll take awhile for me to brush up, but I'll definitely get it done.

Somewhere (ThunderGrace)
Requested by anon
AN: This isn’t what I had planned in my head, but it’s what came out. Hopefully I didn’t fuck it up.
Somewhere along the line, Grace had gotten used to running. She ran from things that she didn’t necessarily want to. Anissa was something Grace didn’t really want to run from. At first, it was an instinct, something in her gut told her to run. By the time that Grace had stopped running, she realized that she shouldn’t be listening to that nagging feeling in her gut. Instead, Grace began to listen to her heart, which always told her to stay.
Staying with Anissa had been one of the smartest things Grace believed she could have done. Anissa protected her, but also made sure that Grace protected herself as well. Anissa wasn’t overbearing or holding her back, but helping her to excel. Grace had fun with Anissa and assumed that Anissa had fun with Grace as well. Eventually, that little feeling of doubt in Grace went away in regards to Anissa. Somewhere along the line, Grace realized that the only running she’d want to be doing was towards Anissa.
Somewhere along the line, Grace managed to fall helplessly in love with Anissa, and she absolutely loved the feeling of it.
