a3! | juza hyodo as your boyfriend...
part 1. part 2.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
he cannot believe it at first
how could someone as kind and well-loved as you choose someone as intimidating and reserved as him? he can’t wrap his head around what you could possibly see in him
it takes a lot of words of affirmation to finally convince juza that he is so much more than he thinks
it saddens you that someone as hard-working and deeply involved in the company as juza could still doubt himself. he always says that he wished he could do more for mankai company, but to you he already does more than enough. although it took him some time to perfect his acting, his passion on stage inspires all the other actors to do their very best and mesmerises the audience
whenever he gets too stressed or pushes himself too hard, you offer him pastries and a long, soothing hug. you have him take breaks and go outside so that when he gets back, he feels a little lighter and more energized to resume his work
to thank you for your unwavering support, he invites you on surprise dates or takes you for a ride on his motorcycle. because juza isn’t the best at expressing his emotions, his love language is acts of service and he always makes sure to be available when you also need his help
when it is you who gets too anxious, he will hold you tightly and listen to you vent about the issue at hand. he will try to offer you words of comfort, but his primary course of action is to help solve the problem at the root
he gets more demonstrative over time, holding your hand in the streets or kissing you on the cheek in public. he is really proud of you and your relationship, but his fear of staining your reputation because of his scary looks holds him back from displaying affection more openly
in private, he is the sweetest. juza is self-conscious about his clumsy use of words, so he makes up for it by showing you love through physical touch and sharing his favourite snacks with you
he won’t say it out loud, but juza melts when it’s you who wraps him in your arms or hugs him from behind. being held is something new to him, and it feels so special, almost a sacred moment - before that, most of the physical contact he had with people was blocking punches or trying not to hurt anyone, so someone lovingly and willingly touching him moves him beyond reason. when you run your fingers through his hair and kiss his neck, his deep and raucous sighs speak louder than words
juza is straightforward and honest so he doesn’t shy away from telling you how grateful he is for you - especially when he is drunk. after a couple of drinks, he will look even more serious than usual, save for the tinge of redness blooming on his cheeks, and say the most heart-wrenching things about how you make him a better man and he wants to guard your happiness forever
he comes to you for help whenever he struggles with the interpretation of a line or wants to try out different acting techniques. reading lines together and acting out scenes is one of your favourite activities to do together, so you happily give him a hand with case studies or character analysis. if the scene involves yelling or violence, juza will apologise and make an effort to be extra affectionate with you when you’re done
you wave at him from the front row and offer him flowers after his plays - banri teases him about it, but juza can’t stop smiling and shrugs it off by telling banri that he’s just jealous. juza feels incredibly lucky to have you by his side
kumon adores you and plans family activities that you can join in. because they know juza so well, he and muku can notice the way his face lights up whenever you’re around
omi often asks juza and you to help him with baking because he guessed that juza has a sweet tooth and you find cooking relaxing. juza likes to taste the sugary ingredients just to make sure that they haven’t turned sour and are still good to eat, which always makes omi and you laugh because you can easily see through his excuses
although he is still a little bashful about his voice, you love to hear juza sing. knowing that you appreciate his singing is a huge motivation for juza to overcome his shyness and find the confidence to sing on stage
he is an attentive listener. it makes him happy that you trust him enough to confide in him, but he also enjoys listening to you talk about your hobbies and your current interests. he remembers many details about them and is never against watching something with you or looking up something you’ve been reading online. you do so much for him, so he wants to be equally there for you and
the two of you have a lot of fun together. although juza appears stoic and still has many insecurities to work through, having you by his side never fails to brighten up his days and fill his heart with joy. when you are hanging out, he smiles a lot more and is less apologetic about his behaviour, even cracking jokes from time to time (he feels like it’s awkward, but you find it exceptionally endearing). he hopes that you feel fulfilled, so he always offers you a shoulder to cry on when you’re feeling down or does his best to make you smile. he wants to learn all about your preferences and passions so that he can fully enter your world
most of all, he just wishes for you to be happy and safe. he has never been loved like this before and he wants to do everything in his power to reciprocate your love with as much force and sincerity

Drabblecember Day 2: Baking Together
Word count: 515
Taglist: @make-my-dream
“Are you sure they’re supposed to look like that?” Lu asked, staring at the tray of gingerbread cookies Sakuya had just taken out of the oven.
“I think so? They should be fine,” he replied hesitantly, setting them down on the counter.
Lu turned away from the freshly-made icing, trying to get a closer look.
“They seem a little…”
“…burnt.”
The two turned to each other, then back to the cookies, then back to the other. They screwed up.
“At least they’re not black, right? There’s no smoke, that’s good!” Lu remarked, trying her best to stay positive.
“Right! They should be salvageable,” Sakuya agreed, “they’ll probably be fine once we ice them.”
“Yeah, they should,” she affirmed, turning back to the icing she was supervising.
Once the two were sure the cookies cooled, they piled the icing into a piping bag and hoped for the best.
Unfortunately, their best was not enough, as the bag burst the second Sakuya gave it a gentle squeeze. Lu cursed, attempting to wipe it up as Sakuya apologized profusely, with Lu continuing to say it wasn’t his fault, it was hers, as she was the one who made it and put it into the bags.
As the two fussed over the disaster, Juza stepped into the lounge, muttering a monologue to himself, only to notice the couple in the kitchen, along with the tray of freshly baked, and partially iced, cookies.
“Hey,” he greeted, stepping up to the counter. “‘S good to see ya, Lu, Sakuya.”
“Oh, hi, Juza! Sorry about the mess, these won’t be ready for a bit!” Lu replied, awkwardly speeding up her cleaning.
“Can I try one?” Juza asked, eyeing the tray once more.
“I guess it wouldn’t hurt, right?” Sakuya said, handing him one that Lu had successfully iced, “Just be aware they’re kinda burnt.”
Juza took the cookie, nodding in thanks, and bit into it. Immediately, his eyes lit up, the way they did with every sweet he ate.
“‘S good. Not too sweet. Can’t really tell it’s burnt, either.”
Lu and Sakuya turned to each other, their expressions brightening just as Juza’s did moments ago.
“All right!” Lu cheered, high-fiving her boyfriend.
“Thanks, Juza!” Sakuya exclaimed excitedly, already beginning to return to fixing their previous mess.
“Dunno what I did, but you’re welcome.”
“Hyodo, there you are! You can’t just run off during a break from practice, the next fan meeting’s in two weeks!” Banri scolded, marching into the room.
“Settsu, try one’a these,” Juza replied, handing him one of the cookies.
“Hah? That’s what you take away from this?”
“Lu ‘n’ Sakuya made ‘em.”
“You two did, huh? Then I’ll have one. Just to make sure I can one-up it. Gimme.”
Lu sighed, sticking her tongue out at Banri as she handed him one of the cookies.
He took a bite as the two held their breath, only for his expression to sour.
“What the hell?! These are burnt, what kinda sick joke is this?!”
The couple turned to each other once more, expressions grim. They were doomed.

self indulgent but! juza and his male s/o on their first anniversary please!
I'm so so late Lu but know I love you asdfghjk
Please enjoy! 💕
Celebrating your first anniversary (Juza x Male! Reader)
Juza. Oh Juza.
He has no idea what to do.
Don’t take him the wrong way please. He has been quietly agonizing for weeks over getting the perfect anniversary gift, but has no clue what would be good enough for you -and at this point doesn’t have to confidence to ask anyone at the dorm either.
He stares at the courtyard in the garden. He stares at Omi’s food -he tries some and it’s good, but he doesn’t think he can copy anything that’s half edible-. He stares at Yuki’s fashion magazines. He stares at Itaru’s videogames. He stares at everything, trying to come up with something that might make you smile.
At some point Banri exploits. “For fuck’s sake Hyodo, you could knit him a shitty sock and he would be happy.”
Juza grunts. "Shut up."
Once the day arrives Juza wakes up with a morning audio from you letting him know how excited you are, merely confirming the time you both had decided to meet. The sound of your voice however makes Juza close his eyes and repeat the audio just one more time. He can never find the courage to send one back though, so he texts, hoping adding one of Kazunari’s stickers make up for it enough. You always said you found them cute after all.
"Juza, here!" you wave towards the tall male, and you look so radiant he almost averts his eyes. You run, launching onto him in the middle of the square. "Happy anniversary!"
The enthusiasm of your words sends a thrill through Juza.
He has always strived to be a good boyfriend. He knows he's not great with words and takes time to sort his own emotions -especially strong ones-, but you have never seemed to mind. "Happy anniversary." Juza murmurs back, gold eyes softening. You smile, reaching to peck his lips.
The plan was simple: A one-day trip to that famous area your friends had talked to you about to spend the day using Juza's motorbike. Fun, cheap, and gives you two alone time.
You two had even opted to pick up some food (and desserts, that goes without saying on such a special day) to eat along the way.
As Juza offers you the helmet however you stop him.
“I know we have the whole day ahead but! I wanted to give it to you before we leave,” you say. It’s a small box, understated black and contrasting with Juza’s big, rusty hands.
“The idea is that you open it,” you prompt jokingly, after seeing no movement from his part. “That way you get to find out what’s inside.”
It's a leather keychain containing a photo of the two of you, and on the inside, a little message signed with your initial: I love you more. That's it. I win.
You hum content with his expression.
“I wanted you to have something you could carry. What do you think? You could put the dorm's keys, the motorbike one, maybe even...”
Juza focuses his attention on you, his boyfriend. Over the course of him opening the gift, you’ve settled into a comfortable space next to him, sharing your warmth. You continue talking, unaware of his intense gaze focused on you, as if nothing else existed.
"I love you."
Your stop mid-sentence, because it's not always the autumn member is this upfront. In seconds, heat rises to your cheeks. Before you can articulate a response he takes up something from his bag. "Here."
Still processing everything you open it, finding a small little charm, meticulously carved and painted. You pick it up. It’s engraved with a date you don’t recognize. Thank you, it says.
“This is not, uh, our anniversary date, right?” you can’t really pinpoint what happened that day.
"...we met."
"Uh?"
Juza rests a hand on the back of his neck, something you have come to notice when he's embarrassed. "S'the day we met," he says eventually. "I— kept thinkin' bout it lately 'cause it was an important day... Sorry if it’s lame.”
You look back at the charm, warmth rushing into your chest. Indeed, you two had known each other for a while before entering into a relationship. But to think the autumn member cherished that time just as much took your breath away.
It makes you cry a little, scaring him along the way.
"Y/N?"
You shake your head before cupping his head to kiss him. "It's perfect."
Because it’s so like Juza to see you as much more than just his boyfriend. You are his pilar. His confident. His proud partner in life.
And as the motorbike finally starts moving, your arms tightly wrapped around him, knowing you have nothing to worry about, you can only wish for the next anniversary to be as special as this one.
___________________________________________________________
I suck at thinking about gifts but let's pretend they are cute pls
Wishing you all a wonderful day! 💕

Juza with 23?
Hyodo Juza:
“Why would you… keep that a secret?”
Juza swallowed hard, looking down at his hands that were tightly clasped in his lap; he was hunched over too, like he was trying to protect himself from some outside force. You watched him carefully but kept your hand over your mouth, trying to process the severity of what he had just told you. Juza really was never one for keeping secrets in the long friendship you had and now that you were dating, you had set a rule that honesty should be key (or at least open communication, as you didn’t want him to think he didn’t have any privacy just because you were dating). But to think he had a secret to confess right off the bat…
“Juza…”
He finally looked up, meeting your eye.
“I know you like sweet things, baby. I’ve known for awhile but… thank you for finally confessing to me.” Juza looked startled as you took his hands in yours, rubbing them soothingly. “We should tell your mother soon, I think she’d be very accepting.”
“…You’re teasin’ me now.”
“A little.” You leaned down to kiss his hand, amused at the way he tensed up then relaxed once he realized what you were doing. “I really thought you were going to say you wanted to be with someone else or something, not just… you liked sweet things.”
“I wouldn’t ever do that to you.” Juza frowned, removing his hands from yours and placing them back on his lap; why had he been so nervous about this? The way you were giggling at him now was just embarrassing, he felt foolish for thinking this was some big secret that would change the way you thought about him. “I know it’s stupid an’ all but I wanted to… be honest, like you said I should be.”
“It makes me happy that you’re serious about me, so don’t worry about looking silly!” You can see the insecurity beginning to creep in, the same one that had reared its ugly head before and had nearly ruined your chance to confess your feelings for him. “I promise I don’t think any differently of you. You’re my sweet sweets lovin’ boyfriend~”
That word still felt so new to him, and to be referred to as yours…
There was no dessert on the planet that could compete with the sweetness of that.

Autumn Troupe x Reader: First Kiss
Has: Banri x Reader and Juza x Reader (separately)
A/N: I’m sorry I wrote the autumn troupe again I am a little biased :,)
Banri:
He would probably initiate the first kiss and if not he’d tease you into starting it.
You two are extremely comfortable at this moment of time, going back and forth with innocent questions for each other and teasing whatever the outcome is.
Eventually Banri would ask if you had your first kiss, and saying no, he was at a loss for words.
When he would have time to react he’d smirk and inch closer to you, smiling as he held your face by the chin gently.
“Really now? Sounds like an easy fix...”
Before he goes for it himself, he backs away ever so slightly to speak again.
“...If that’s alright with you. I mean, no rush it doesn’t have to be right n-“
The “neo gangster” had tested your patience enough as you went in for the kiss yourself by pulling him by the collar and leaning into a passion-filled yet somewhat gentle kiss.
His lips smirk against yours, but he keeps his eyes closed and puts his hands over yours.
You’re the first to pull away, coming to a shocking realization after that adrenaline rush what you did.
Banri stares at you with bright red cheeks and a shit-eating grin to cover his embarrassment.
“Shit, Y/N, I didn’t think you had it in you.”
You might be too embarrassed to respond after the adrenaline runs out, so even when the two of you are done hanging out, Banri’s still thinking about that kiss when he gets to his room with Juza, who notices something completely off.
“Settsu, you’re looking differe-“
“Shut the hell up, Hyodo, I don’t wanna hear it.”
Juza:
You would definitely be the first one to initiate it, leaving an extremely flustered Juza.
Unless...
Both you and Juza had recently been dating, and the poor boy was a nervous wreck.
He wanted everything with you to be perfect, and so he took advice from his closest romance advisor, Muku.
Being the fanatic he is he gave Juza as much of his shoujo manga knowledge as he could. Juza had binged several shoujos over night that he had come up with one conclusion; he had to give you your first kiss.
Juza had spontaneously asked if you wanted to go with him on a walk around Veludo way, claiming he knew a shortcut to a bakery he wanted you to try.
There in that secluded spot, he had gently pinned you to a wall with his arm over your head, towering over you with a nervous look on his face.
You reacted with shock, as it was something you didn’t expect from your boyfriend, but were extremely flustered.
Juza quickly took this as fear and worry painted over his facial expression.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you, Y/N.”
His response startled you. “What? No, not by a long shot, Juza.”
“But, the look on your face probably meant that-“
“Don’t worry,” you tried to reassure him by putting your hands over the nape of his neck.
His cheeks grew red but he avoided eye contact with you. “You sure?”
“Want me to show you?”
His eyes widened as he looked back at you to feel your hand travel from his neck to caress his cheek.
“M-Mhm...” he nodded hesitantly, closing his eyes and leaning his face into the palm of your hand.
Considering his height and the “kabedon” position, you had to slightly tiptoe to be able to give him a soft and gentle kiss on the lips that gave him the most reassurance words could have ever gotten by with.
You held onto his jacket for support, and he kept his hands at the wall for you to balance. He was stiff at first, but with your guidance he eased into the sweet kiss, finding it hard to pull away from a moment like this.
The way you two stared into each other’s eyes was too much for him, his face heating up in your hands from the physical intimacy you both had.
“See?” You whispered, smiling at his flustered self. “Nothing to be scared of.”
“You’re right...”

Can you write scenario were y/n taking care of kumon while his sick. He deserves some love. And you do too, take care of yourself okay? Love your writing and you! (ෆ`꒳´ෆ)❤
Of course, honey! (Can‘t make any promises to take care of myself because I often forget it... hehe...~) And thank you! \(//∇//)\ I hope that you like!~ Have a great day!
Tumblr media
It happened again. Kumon was getting a little bit too nervous and excited, resulting in him getting a high fever and his brother dragging him to his bed and telling him to stay there. It was not because of another play, he felt nervous and excited – no, it was because of a certain someone. His someone. A year ago, he had fallen in love with a sweet person and later, he had the courage to finally tell them how he felt! How his stomach felt full of butterflies and how he would sweat and get nervous around them. He was deeply in love with (y/n) and nothing could ever change it.
But Kumon was quite busy with playing baseball until he went to the Mankai Company in hopes to become a great actor like his big brother Juza, which is why the sweet lovers never had gone to a date. Of course, dear (y/n) wasn’t mad at it, as they tried to spend their time with Kumon during his breaks and while they walked to school and back home together. They always found a way to spend their time together until Kumon scratched his neck, nervously asking his s/o on a date and like every sane person, (y/n) jumped up and down, excited and happily nodding to his question.
“I have to go! (y/n) is waiting!” The sick actor cried out loud, grasping at his brother. “Let me gooo!” Juza shook his head, sighing at his younger brother and told him to stay in the comfortable bed. “I already called (y/n). They will come and visit you.” The older Hyodo said, shrugging with his shoulders as Kumon tried to sat himself up, panickily. “What!? No! They shouldn’t see me like this…” Unfortunately, it was too late, as his beloved (y/n) came through the door, holding a bottle of water and a bowl of fresh and hot soup and their hands. “Are you alright, Ku-chan?” Worried for your boyfriend, you walked to him, placing the food on the nearby desk as his brother left the room. “W-What are you doing here, (y/n)?” He had asked you, coughing in between. Your fingers graced his forehead, feeling the warmth of his fever on them. He felt as hot a fire that you couldn’t extinguish.
“Juza-san told me about your fever. Let’s go on a date, when you feel better, alright?” You smiled at him lovingly. “B-But we wanted to do so much today…” Kumon pouted, his eyes falling close for a few seconds, trying to stay awake as long as possible, while you put a cold towel on his forehead, trying to cool him down. “I know, but you are much more important than our date.” Oh, how you always found a way to make him blush. He wasn’t even sure, if he was blushing because of you or if his face was as red as Taichi’s hair, because of the fever he got. He slightly pulled his blanked over his face, trying to hide his blush. “How it seems, I have to play your nurse today.~” You winked at him, as his cheeks got redder by your words.
Kumon thanked the gods above that you were his s/o. He was so lucky to have found you, as you were always there for him. You were his light and the greatest angel alive! The purplehead was sure of it, as you were taking care of the current sick actor.

The Hyodos | Juza Hyodo
Anon says: May I please have Family with Juza? Like, maybe Juza is introducing his s/o to his family or something cute like that? Merry Christmas, by the way!! 💖💖💖
Aimee replies: Thank you so much for your patience, anon! Of course you may! But since I only finished this approximately 8 months before Christmas time again, I wish you a very advanced merry Christmas!
Anyway, I really enjoyed making this fic despite revising it a lot of times. Hopefully, you guys will enjoy reading it too! Btw, the story takes place before Act 2 so Kumon’s not in the MANKAI dorm yet.
For ‘A December With You’ writing event.
Tumblr media
You tightly gripped the basket as you stared at the house before you. It was a simple modern Japanese house, but it was not just “someone’s” residence. That place was where your boyfriend and his family lived! You have no clue on what your boyfriend’s family was like. Were they the interrogating type as if you were a criminal for dating their son? Were they the demanding family who required a fifty-page report on why you loved your boyfriend? Or were they the doting kind wherein they would already plan for their son’s wedding?
You stiffened as something warm enveloped your trembling hand. However, your shoulders quickly relaxed when you saw a familiar large hand wrapped around yours.
“What’s wrong?” Your boyfriend asked. Besides the blush that painted his cheeks, you noticed the concern behind his golden eyes.
Coming up with a bunch of descriptions for his family was too embarrassing to admit. Hence, you said, “It’s just... I’m really nervous.”
“Just be yourself.” Juza squeezed your hand.
You looked down on the ground. “But what if they still won’t like me?”
The chilling breeze nor the honking of the cars were unable to distract you from this unnerving silence. You shuffled your feet. You knew it was a difficult question for your boyfriend. After all, Juza highly valued his family’s opinions. He always considered their thoughts in all of his endeavors.
And you understood that you were one of those endeavors.
You were snapped out of your trance when you felt Juza’s hand on your head. You looked up to see his tender smile, making your heart pound.
“’m sure my family will like you ‘cause… I really like you,” your boyfriend quietly but firmly said.
A soft smile made its way on your lips. No matter how irrational his reasoning was, you felt assured. Perhaps it was because of his sincerity and Juza’s faith in you, himself, and his family.
Before you could reply, the door suddenly slammed open. “Ah! Nii-chan, you’re already here!”
The younger boy jumped on your boyfriend and hugged him. Juza almost toppled on the ground if not for his fast reflexes. As he quickly wrapped his arms around his younger brother, Juza let out an exasperated sigh. “Kumon, that’s dangerous, you know?”
Kumon giggled. “I just missed you so much, nii-chan!”
Then your gaze met with the younger boy. Unwrapping his arms from his older brother, he curiously stared at you. “Nii-chan, is she your girlfriend?”
Juza nodded. “Her name’s (First Name) (Last Name).”
You held your basket with one hand while you stuck out your other hand to the young boy. “H-hello! Nice to meet you.”
As he accepted your handshake, the young boy grinned at you. It was so bright that it rivaled the sun itself. “Hello! My name is Kumon Hyodo. Thank you for always taking care of nii-chan!”
You shook your head. “I am always in Juza’s care. Thank you for having a great nii-chan.”
Kumon’s eyes sparkled. “Nii-chan’s so great, right? One time, there was a robber in a convenience store. And…!”
As Kumon continued to ramble on, you smiled. You could see why Juza said before that everyone loved him. His presence was warm and comforting. It was also cute to see Kumon fanboying about his brother. With that, you understood why your boyfriend had this fond look whenever he talked about his younger brother.
Juza suddenly patted his younger brother’s head, momentarily distracting him. “Kumon, go help mom and dad set up the table first.”
Kumon’s eyes widened. “Oh! You’re right!”
You waved your hand. “You can continue telling me about your nii-chan later, okay?”
Kumon happily nodded before quickly entering the dining room. Then Juza scratched his head. “Sorry ‘bout that.”
You chuckled. “It’s alright. I find it touching that your baby bro loves you so much.” Your laughter increased when Juza's cheeks became a dark shade of red.
After calming each other down, the two of you removed your shoes. Juza let you enter first, closing the door when he set foot in the living room.
“Excuse me for the intrusion,” you said.
As your boyfriend led you to the dining room, a woman in her mid-forties stopped chopping some fruits and turned to you. Her wrinkles were noticeable but her grin stood out the most. Now you knew where Kumon had gotten his sunny smile.
“Hello, (First Name)-chan! We’ve been waiting for you.”
You bowed at Mrs. Hyodo and presented your basket. “Thank you for having me, Hyodo-san. Please accept this as an advanced Christmas gift.”
Mrs. Hyodo gasped at the bottles that filled the basket. “Thank you so much for the condiments! I will gratefully use them in my cooking."
You grinned. "You're welcome, Hyodo-san." Mr. Hyodo, who was standing beside his wife, peeked at the basket. Without a word, he slowly took it and placed it on one of the shelves.
As Juza sat on the chair nearest to him, you chose to sit beside him. You gaped at the food on the table - salad, miso soup, braised pork belly, wagashi and even a Christmas cake. All of them looked like a three-star Michelin chef cooked them.
Your eyes widened when you saw Kumon placing a plate of (Favorite Dish) on the table. You shot a questioning glance at your boyfriend. Juza rubbed the back of his nape as he said, “I asked mom if she could cook your fav food.”
"Nii-chan even chose the ingredients for it!" Kumon proudly declared as he sat beside his beloved brother.
“It was so sweet of Juza!" Mrs. Hyodo squealed as she set down the plate with fruits beside the salad. Then she sat down on the chair across from you, Mr. Hyodo following suit.
All of you clasped your hands. "Thank you for the food!"
While you wanted to savor Mrs. Hyodo's cooking, you could barely focus on eating. Mr. Hyodo's eyes scrutinized your every move like surveillance cameras. As an attempted distraction, you chatted with Mrs. Hyodo. However, Mr. Hyodo's gaze was too intense to ignore.
It was when you were drinking water to cool your nerves off that Mr. Hyodo suddenly spoke, “(First Name) (Last Name), what do you see in my son?”
You choked on your water. Juza rubbed your back, his worried eyes looking at you.
"(First Name)-san, are you alright?" Kumon said. You nodded despite almost dying because your air supply was momentarily cut off.
Mrs. Hyodo sighed at her husband. "Dear, don't go asking such questions so suddenly."
Mr. Hyodo averted his eyes from you and mumbled 'sorry.' You shook your head. “It's fine, Hyodo-san. And to answer your question..."
Two words immediately popped into your head when you thought of your boyfriend. Without any hesitation, you said, “I see Juza’s his passion and dedication in everything he does, especially in acting.”
Kumon's head popped into your view. “Then (First Name)-san, have you watched ‘Picaresque’?”
“Of course! Closing night was amazing! Actually, every performance Juza’s in is really good.” You beamed at your boyfriend who suddenly had the urge to chug down a glass of water.
“Yeah! But I really want to see Nii-chan as Luciano again.” You chuckled as you saw the familiar sparkles in Kumon’s eyes.
Mr. Hyodo cleared his throat. “I have another question for you, (First Name)-san.”
Cold sweats formed on your forehead as Mr. Hyodo’s (golden) gaze at you defeated the freezing air outside. With a deep and threatening voice, he said, “Do you like sweets?”
You slowly blinked. Did your ears hear Mr. Hyodo's words right?
Seeing your frozen state, Juza sighed at his father. “Dad, that’s unnecessary...”
After recovering from your initial shock, you managed to reply, “Well, I’m willing to eat sweets if it’s with Juza."
“If that’s so, I can bake some for your dates!” Mrs. Hyodo giggled, making the younger couple blush.
Meanwhile, Mr. Hyodo put his interlocked hands beneath his chin as he intently stared at his son. Juza stopped eating his cake and looked up. When he locked eyes with his father, Juza stared back at him with the same fervor.
In the middle of the fierce staring contest, Mr. Hyodo gave a thumbs up with the same serious expression. “I approve of her.”
You were unaware of how much you held back from breathing until you let out a deep sigh. Then your lips curled upwards. Meeting with the Hyodo family wasn’t as bad as you previously thought.

his mind is basically shifting to “damn i actually love him. i feel like i would have never become the person that i am today without meeting him and i’m so grateful i got to- oh is it two or three eggs?
when he’s done he’s packing them like a real pro. then if hyodo laughs at his face he can says that he bought them and shut him up. ok? ok.
now here’s his next problem; how the fuck is he going to give it to him casually? is he just about to walk up and tell him “this is for you” and run away? should he instead stand his ground and stare into his eyes in order to assert dominance?
...... wait, it doesn’t even count as a confession, as they’re already dating. (he’s still not convinced it’s reality). he doesn’t need to be embarrassed. he’s giving a chocolate gift to his boyfriend. it’s pretty normal.
fuck this. this is a bad idea. hyodo doesn’t need it, he eat sweet shit like this every god damn day. (he even have a stash in their room)
so banri hides the precociously prepared box in his room, in a spot where hyodo won’t find, and go to sleep. (next to juza, mind you.)
the next morning, hyodo is gone already. banri doesn’t have class until 10AM, so he can sleep in a bit.
at school, banri is given a few boxes by some of his classmates, and some girls he doesn’t even know, and he tries to act grateful. (he is, but not really.)
but while he’s given all the presents, he observes the way they’re giving him the chocolate and... he can’t see himself do any of those with hyodo. oh fuck. how is he gonna do?
it’s kinda late when he comes back at the dorms. hyodo is hunched at his desk doing his homework, but banri can see a bag filled with chocolate boxes that weren’t here before. which means... either hyodo went on a rampage, or... he got them as presents.
ugh.
when hyodo notices banri’s presence he immediately turns around and see banri staring at the bag.
“some classmates gave them to me...”
“figured. surprised you didn’t eat them all already, though.”
“i wanted to, but...”
there’s a moment of silence before banri raises an eyebrow, urging him to continue.
“i wanted to eat yours first.”
hyodo blushes at that, and banri freezes. what the hell? he can’t do that. he can’t be that cute. he’s gonna slap him.
at his lack of answer, juza’s expression quickly fades back to his neutral one.
“oh. you don’t have any. my bad.”
banri rolls his eyes as the disappointment on hyodo’s face almost hurt him. he grabs the box he made this night and walk to hyodo, handing it to him.
“of course i do. who do you think i am?”
juza’s eyes lit up and a little smile appear. oh. banri’s so screwed.
“thanks, settsu.”
hyodo stands up and walk across the room to his school bag, taking something out of it before coming back to banri.
it’s a box. a chocolate one. and judging by how it’s presented, it’s not a cheap one.
“here, it’s for you. sorry, it’s not homemade because i didn’t trust myself to not eat whatever i would prepare before giving it to you...”
banri takes it a little too eagerly, and he’s wondering if hyodo notices how he’s blushing. if he is, he doesn’t say anything.
they’re just staring at each other now, each other’s presents in hands.
banri is the one who close the space between them, indulging himself with a kiss, but hyodo happily leans into it.
they end up sitting next to each other under a cover, eating their chocolates in silence and enjoying each other’s presence.

Forgetful (Juban)
note: i promise more genshin and haikyuu content will come soon but i really need to dump all the a3 crap i wrote when i was high on caffeine and fatigue.
word count: 945
Banri Settsu was a person who didn't like to think.
Banri was never much of a thinker. He was naturally talented in everything, that's why he found it unnecessary to second guess or even plan out the things that he'd be doing. Hell, he passed high school with flying colors by flipping through the textbooks ten minutes before their exams.
Apart from that, Banri loved Saturdays.
It was the day when the director let them have free days to do whatever they wanted to do. Usually, Banri would be chilling with Itaru and gaming. There also happened to be a special time-limited event in one of their video games, which is why Banri's phone has been blowing up with constant texts and DMs from Itaru asking him where he was and why the hell he wasn't online to co-op yet.
Banri hated thinking and he loved Saturdays. That's why he was genuinely confused as to why he wasn't gaming with Itaru on this particular Saturday
Why was he walking towards the jewelry store again?
Oh.
It was Hyodo's birthday in a couple of weeks.
Much to his dismay, Banri actually caught feelings for his roommate not long after their first performance together. To be honest, everyone in the troupe already caught on, but Banri refused to admit it until a good three months after it happened. It was quite hilarious, really. Seeing Banri "accidentally" bring home an extra pudding cup for Juza to eat one too many times always made Omi and Taichi giggle amongst themselves.
To Banri's surprise, his rival actually reciprocated his feelings. Apparently, Hyodo was also intrigued by how Banri motivated him to keep doing better in all the things he was doing. Though Banri would never admit it, that always sent warm sensations tugging at his heartstrings. He'd rather just say, "Shut up, Hyodo." than blush and act flattered at his boyfriend's kind words.
Boyfriend.
Banri dug his hands in the pockets of his gray hoodie as a faint red spread across his pale cheeks. His bleached hair was covered by the hood, which made him look oddly suspicious walking down the street with a brisk and sloppy pace. Nobody needed to know that the Banri Settsu was blushing at the thought of stupid, crappy, pretty Hyodo while he was walking to the damn jewelry store to get a stupid, crappy, pretty birthday gift for him.
He quickly checked his phone to keep his mind off the idea of Juza in their bedroom, still asleep and probably dreaming about shoving another scone in his mouth.
Taruchi: Where the heck are u lolol I'm gonna leave u the event is starting in like 20 minutes
He tapped out a reply to notify his gaming companion.
NEO: Lolol I'm out the dorm I left like an hour ago I gotta grab something real quick
A speech bubble appeared by Itaru's display photo, signifying that he was typing something out.
Taruchi: LOL better get ur ass back here real quick if you don't want to get left behind. I'm assuming ur boyfriend is with u too??
Banri's eyebrows furrowed together.
NEO: Wdym?? I didn't leave with him
Taruchi: Oh fr? Azuma said he saw Juza leave the dorm earlier today I thought u were together lolol
Banri swore that Hyodo was still asleep when he left. There was a lump under his blanket and everything
Oh.
NEO: LOL dunno where he's at. DM me if he comes home, I'll be back to play the event later
Taruchi: Kk
Was he that dumb to fall for the old pillow under the sheets trick? Nevermind that, where did Hyodo run off to? How dare he leave the dorm and not tell him where he was going? Not that he particularly cared.
"Stupid Hyodo," He muttered, obviously pissed. His strides became longer and faster, a sign that he was, indeed, royally pissed at the idea that Hyodo dared to go somewhere without informing him first. Did the boyfriend status not mean anything to him at all???
It wasn't even Hyodo's birthday until a couple of weeks from now, and yet he already went out to buy a gift for him. As cheesy at it may sound, Banri wanted to buy a promise ring. Ew, gross, disgusting, revolting. Why did he want to buy a promise ring anyway?
To remind Hyodo that he'd be there for him whenever he needed someone.
To remind Hyodo that he's no longer a (complete) rival, but rather an inspiration to continue achieving their dreams together.
To promise Hyodo that he'd never leave him.
To promise Hyodo all the things that he could never put into words.
Banri shook his head. This was getting too embarrassing to even think about.
He put his hand on the cold metal bar on the door of the jewelry store he liked and pushed it open.
"Hyodo wouldn't even want it," He whispered.
He'd just think that it was weird, creepy, too fast, too cheesy, too sappy. Definitely not a Banri Settsu kind of gift, but what was so wrong with wanting to let him know that he just wants to care about his boyfriend? Banri felt like he was going to barf.
"He'd probably be satisfied with a 10-pack of pudding."
He thought about the possible alternatives he could buy for Hyodo.
His eyes flitted up to see a familiar set of amber eyes looking wide and surprised.
"S-Settsu?!"
"W-What the hell're you doin' here?!"
"Ah, is the ring for him, sir? How charming."
Banri blinked twice.
Banri Settsu didn't like to think.
He also liked Saturdays.
He checked the date.
September 7th.
He forgot his own birthday.

Hey! I didnt find your rules so I hope my request is okay? Can I have some autumn troupe hcs when they sleep with you and you're a restless sleeper like always tossing and trying to find the most comfy position and changing to the other side etc. Thanks <3
Yes, please don’t worry this request was fun to make! Thanks for the request 💕
Settsu Banri
Banri would suddenly wake up with you accidentally hitting him as you moved in your side of the bed for a comfortable sleeping position
Letting out a groan, he whined about how he couldn’t sleep with you moving around so much. He needs his beauty sleep, mind you
“I can’t find a good position to sleep in.” You mumbled tiredly
Your boyfriend looked at your face and noticed how you continuously yawned as your eyelids were already dropping yet you still wouldn’t fall asleep
He would feel embarrassed about his little outburst from earlier but rather than voicing out his apologies he would pull you into his arms as he lazily rubs circles around your waist in attempt of relaxing you and lulling you to sleep
“Will this work?” You would snort while he answers with a scoff
“Course it would, you’re in my arms after all.” Even if you weren’t looking at his face, you could tell that he was smirking
But you didn’t have the energy to argue with him as your eyes finally close, finally letting you enter dreamland, maybe sleeping with Banri would actually help you in sleeping better?
Hyodo Juza
Juza’s confused and lost. You’ve been moving around so much. Did you need to use the bathroom? Was he taking in too much space? Did he accidentally use too much of the blanket, leaving you cold? That last thought made him push the blanket off of him and move it towards you
But still you continued to move around, he could feel it. How you would change your legs position, how the pillows would move as you placed your arms under it and remove it after a few seconds
Out of curiosity, he turned to his side to face you, to see you looking frustrated as you tried to find a position to fall asleep in
“...are you okay?” He would ask you as he watched you stretch your body and let out a groan
“I can’t sleep.” You answer him with a pout
Juza doesn’t know what to do. It wasn’t his fault, he never slept beside anyone aside from his family and...Azuma  so he didn’t know whether he should suggest sleeping in his arms (But he was worried he might unconsciously crush you as you two sleep) or talking with you until you finally fall asleep
“.....” Juza thinks of his next action, maybe he should have took Muku’s manga for advice?
“Can I try cuddling you?” You asked hopefully
Juza let you and opened his arms awkwardly, causing you to let out a tired smile and you snuggled into his chest, already feeling sleepy with how warm his body was
Juza just felt relieved that you fell asleep, he didn’t even tell you anything the next morning about how you accidentally kicked him in your sleep
Fushimi Omi
Omi would immediately notice your distress
He’s Omi Fushimi, of course he would know when his partner’s feeling troubled
Opening his eyes, he watched you move around for a few minutes before he actually said something
“Can’t sleep?”
If you weren’t feeling the tiredness kicking in, you would have melted at the deep and raspy voice he has whenever he wakes up
But you were tired
“Yeah.” You admitted after rubbing your eyes, “I hate this weird feeling whenever I can’t find a good sleeping position.” You groaned
Omi hummed, “Want me to you some tea or warm milk?” Omi suggested but you shook your head and let him know you just couldn’t find a good position to sleep in
He would not, “Come here.” He would say warmly as he places a hand around your waist, “Tell me if you still feel uncomfortable, alright?”
Nanao Taichi
Taichi would wake up with you turning from side to side, rubbing his eyes, he would watch you curiously as you moved around the bed
“Aren’t you sleepy?” He would ask as he yawns and rubs his eyes
“I am, I just can’t get comfortable.” You groaned and stretched your back, letting out a defeated sigh
“Want me to stay awake with you until you fall asleep?”
“Will you do that for me?” You asked, yes you were sleepy but you were also thankful for your boyfriend who was willing to keep you company as you turned side to side and changed positions to sleep onto
But after some time, Taichi would eventually fall asleep while you were in a position where he was holding onto your arms, leaving you no choice but just let him cuddle your arm as you looked up the ceiling
You didn’t know when you fell asleep but when you woke up your arm was wet
Furuichi Sakyo
Sakyo’s a light sleeper so he would wake up with the simplest movements
He’s going to scold you but seeing your tired face he would keep his monologue short and instead ask you what your reason is for staying up
“I can’t find a good position.” You said as you moved your leg up the bed and turned to the side just to groan and straighten it back
Sakyo sighed as he watched you move around the bed, thinking of possible ways to help you
“Sakyo,” You called out, “Hug me.” You proposed the idea to him
“You find it hard to sleep because you can’t find a good position, how would hugging you help?”
“Come on let’s just try.” You opened his arms and entered the premises of his arms
“You know, I just noticed but despite being quite skinny you actually have some muscles, don’t you?” You commented as you felt his arms
“I’m going to remove my arms around you.” He threatened
But you just hummed as you felt your eyes start to close, the exhaustion finally taking over your system as you fell asleep
Sakyo waited until you were asleep, fixing the blankets around you two he then started to drift onto sleep, your soft and gentle breathing putting him to sleep

This is VERY late, and I have no excuse. But I hope you guys can still enjoy it, I’m still trying to find my groove in writing things others wish to see and I’m sorry about that:(((
Drabble Game #005
Juza Hyodo + "I could've saved you!" + “I don’t think so, you’re the greatest person I know.”
Juza was nothing but bad news… that's what you were told at least. He got into fights, he didn’t care about anything school related. He beat up a lot of people your age and was surrounded by bad people… That’s usually how things would go when you would hear about him. At school people avoided him no matter what. People would pick fights with him and he would win. You even heard that he got in a fight with a student from another school.
But despite all these reasons, you were intrigued by this boy. You didn’t see him as a delinquent, you didn’t see him as someone bad. You saw him as someone who was quiet and reserved, only choosing to speak if necessary. You saw him as someone with a lot of thoughts that needed to be shared. You saw him for that one instance of kindness that one night.
You were being followed and you knew it. A suspicious looking man was following you on your way home so you decided to stop by the nearest convenience store on your way home. This only confirmed your suspicion as the man had followed you inside.  You were beyond scared,  you didn’t know what to do… You didn’t know who to call as you knew most of your friends wouldn’t be in the vicinity which would be a problem if this man would continue to follow you.
All of a sudden someone tapped you on the shoulder, you squeaked in surprise only to be met face to face by your classmate, Juza Hyodo. He looked at you with a look of concern and looked around, as if he knew the situation.
He whispered to you, “I noticed the man following you, I assume that you don’t know him?”
You nodded softly.
“I’m going to walk you home, but you have to pretend to be my girlfriend so it seems more convincing. “
You looked at him wide eyed for a bit, then took his hand and smiled, “Thank you, this means a lot to me.”
True enough, as you and Juza exited the convenience store, the man tried to strike a conversation.
“Hey beauty, mind giving me your number?” He asked, ignoring Juza slightly.
Juza smiled in a threatening way, “Excuse me sir, but I don’t think that's how you should talk to my girlfriend.”
The man, realizing how threatening Juza’s aura is, apologized in a half-assed manner and started running away.
Back to the present, you often think of that scenario and that was what truly brought you and Juza together. Now, you were proud to call him your boyfriend, the so-called delinquent they said could not love anyone.
Juza looked at you from his spot on your lap, “What’s wrong, y/n?”
You laughed, “Nothing, I was just wondering why you saved me that night…”
He looked at you with calm eyes, “Well, I didn’t want my last train of thought to be; I could’ve saved you. When I had the capacity to do exactly that. I didn’t care about if you wouldn’t accept, I just wanted to try… and thank god you did.”
You ran your fingers through his hair, “I don’t think so, you’re the greatest person I know. I mean, I don’t think I would ever have said no if I went back in time… Also you are truly the greatest person I know, Juza. I love you…”
He sits up smiling, “I love you too.”  He says sealing the moment with a kiss.

Tumblr media
“Will you let him stay for a while?” Tsumugi asked you, your eyes immediately shifting to the tall, purple-haired man beside him. Though his expression was tough, he refused to even spare you a glance save for the when he first entered the store.
“Well…” you trailed off, still a little conflicted on what decision to make. On one hand, it was hard to refuse one of the flower shop’s regulars— especially when the explanation behind his sudden request reasonable enough. On the other hand, as nice as Juza probably was on the inside, if he was just going to stay silent the whole time it not only would be awkward, but there was a chance he’d scare some customers away.
As soon as the thought entered your head, you felt a little awful. He literally hasn’t said a word to you?
Making up your mind, you slowly nodded in response. “I don’t mind. He’ll just be observing the flowers, right? And looking at the reference book?”
“Yes, that’s pretty much it. Thank you for accepting,” Tsumugi turned to look at his junior, patting his arm lightly, “see you back home.”
“Thank you for your patronage, Tsukioka-san.”
“… see you, Tsumugi-san.”
As soon as the blue-haired man left the building, all was silent again.
What were you supposed to do? Would he appreciate you showing him round the store? Telling him about all the flowers? Do you ask him about what he needed to know for this role? Would he prefer to be left to his own devices and do it on his own?
When he suddenly called you by your name, well, surname, you’re caught off-guard. You turned to face him, and though he still can’t look you straight in the eyes, he at least knew you were listening.
“… sorry, I’ll try not to be a bother,” he says, frown still present but voice unexpectedly genuine, “…might scare your customers away, though.”
He didn’t sound sad about it, resigned if anything, but you found that you were kicking yourself anyway despite him not knowing what was going through your head a while ago. While you couldn’t comfort him or anything, there was at least something you could do to help him.
“Juza-kun,” you said, and for the first time, his eyes met yours. Perhaps if the two of you were to lock gazes at another place and time, you would have been intimidated; enclosed at the space of your flower shop, you somehow figured you’d end up enjoying his company.
“Would you like to see some flowers?”
Sunday.
“… don’t really get it,” Juza muttered, the pads of his fingers carefully brushing against the petals, “why I got chosen for this role.”
You paused your previous ministrations, setting aside your spray water bottle to look at him questioningly. By the manner Tsukioka-san explained Juza’s situation earlier, he made it seem as though the latter was enthusiastic to play this role— was he mistaken?
“What do you mean?” you asked, walking over to the same spot Juza stood. Neither of you faced the other, as though you two were talking to the vibrant colours instead.
“Flowers are delicate,” the petal slipped from his index, “I’m not,” he said matter-of-factly.
Neither of you could deny that.
“… maybe you’re focusing too much on thinking of flowers generally,” you replied, the silence consuming the both of you thereafter.
The two of you barely talked the rest of the day, the only other time the two of you glanced at each other was when he said his farewell.
Monday.
Coming back from school for your shift at the shop, you didn’t expect to run into the purple-haired man on the way there.
“Juza-kun?” He stood quietly at a street corner, his stillness making you wonder how long he’d been there. Weren’t… weren’t people looking at him suspiciously? Did he notice? What was he doing?
He greeted you back, and you found yourself in an awkward stare-off with him for a few seconds. With a cough, he darted his eyes away from yours. “You weren’t at the shop,” he replied gruffly.
Oh, was he waiting for you?
You let out a little laugh as you asked him to follow you, failing to miss the small hint of surprise on Juza’s face as he walked behind you. The walk was quiet, but your mind was noisy with questions.
“Did you want to look at the flowers again?”
“… thought about what you said.”
You couldn’t react immediately, already stood at the storefront. Stepping into the shop, you greeted your co-worker and your companion quickly distanced himself, taking to the assortment of potted plants instead.
“Is that delinquent your boyfriend or something?” your co-worker whispered quietly, peeking behind you worriedly. You stopped in the middle of tying your work apron, narrowing your eyes.
“What?”
“He was standing outside a while ago,” she explained, “but he left pretty quickly. I thought he was being shady, but then he comes in with you?”
You sighed, rubbing your temples. Right, you didn’t get the chance to mention Tsukioka-san’s request from yesterday. You didn’t think you had to?
“He’s not my boyfriend,” you corrected, immediately shutting down whatever notion she had in her head, “Tsukioka-san asked me to help him with something.”
You almost giggled at how quickly she perked up at the familiar name. You bet he didn’t even realise how popular he was.
As you bid your adieus in advance, you exited the storage backroom and nearly yelped at the sight of Juza hunched over the counter, looking through the reference book.
“Are you looking for something specific?” you asked, leaning onto the counter to peer over the pages.
“… yesterday, you said I was being too general.”
You raised your eyebrows. Was he still thinking about that? “Guess I did, yeah.”
He flipped over another page, eyebrows furrowed as he skimmed through the content in front of him. You were sure he was trying his best to absorb the content, but you had a feeling it wasn’t working out as well as he had hoped.
You placed a hand over the book, and though you barely covered anything he got your intention pretty quickly.
“That’s going to take you forever,” you insisted, angling the book to face you instead as you flipped the pages over to the table of contents.
“What do you need for your characterisation, anyway?” from the corner of your eye, you could see the gears turning in his brain.
“Something happy,” he started, and you found yourself mentally listing down all the readily available flowers that fit into that meaning. Should be easy enough, there were many flowers that corresponded to happiness—
“Something calm,” he continued, and you found yourself turning around to look at him incredulously. “Something innocent.”
Was he gonna keep going?
“Something passionate, and something about new beginnings.”
“That’s a lot,” you stated the obvious, racking your brain for any flower that could possibly mean all of those. Maybe even a set of flowers from the same family? Happiness and innocence were often associated with each other anyway, and there were many flowers that meant passion anyway— though more on the love side of things. The other two, though…
“I’d need to look a bit more into that,” you apologised, eyes flitting from name to name to find a similar flower, “did Tsukioka-san say anything that could help?”
Juza let out a small hum, “he gave me a list.”
You thought he’d pull out his phone or something, so you couldn’t help the small laugh as he brought out a ripped out piece of notebook paper from his pocket. As soon as he handed it to you, you found yourself ticking off the flowers that wouldn’t work— whether it be obscurity or having a too vague meaning.
Lavender… Lily… Magnolia…
You stopped at the next flower listed. Oh, that could actually work?
“I think I have a reference for you,” you said. Unbeknownst to you, Juza subconsciously registered that as the first time you smiled at him.
Tuesday.
Why weren’t you surprised he would be at the street corner?
“Juza-kun, just wait inside the store,” you told him, a little exasperated. You understood his intentions, but he didn’t have to keep waiting outside every time for your arrival? "What if I got back a little late?”
“S’fine,” he mumbled quietly, falling into step with you, “it was only for a few minutes.”
“Ouka High is a lot closer, though,” you reminded him, “at this rate you’re gonna end up as a landmark.”
The conversation fell short again, the background noise filling up your silence. The door chime rang as you opened the door, and you checked in with your co-worker while Juza found himself with the flowers again.
“Did the delivery—?”
“Yep, it came today! Aha, he’s actually looking at some of them right now?”
Thanking her, you headed over to him and stared at the vibrant pink.
“Gentleness,” you said, loud enough for Juza to hear you, “pastel pink pansies mean something along the lines of gentleness and innocence.”
With Juza’s head bowed down, you thought he himself looked a lot like a pansy— a flower that resembled the human face, intelligent and pensive, nodding forward late in the summer as though deep in thought. The colour of his hair didn’t help diminish your imagination, either. After minutes of silence, he finally spoke up again.
“Muku,” he muttered. You tilted your head in confusion.
“Muku?”
“… my cousin,” he explained, “is a lot like this flower.”
Maybe it was your imagination, but somehow he sounded, looked a little softer.
“You must be pretty fond of him,” even if he weren’t to reply, you knew you already had your answer.
Wednesday.
You were running. Somehow you got distracted by the new cookies they were advertising at a cafe near your high school. Perhaps it was because of your ongoing situation with Juza, but as soon as you read the words “dessert” and “edible flowers” you made a bee-line for the store.
… and you ended up buying more than one, too. A whole pack of 6, actually. Really, who could blame you? The blue, pressed pansies atop the honey glazed lemon shortbread cookies looked absolutely scrumptious!
But now you were in a rush to get to work, and in your haste, you accidentally bumped into someone. You found yourself a little shocked as you looked up, familiar purple hair coming into vision.
“Oh, Juza-kun,” you greeted, “you’re actually not at the corner today?”
“Got dismissed late,” he said with a shrug, “you?”
You let out a chuckle, lifting the paper bag so he could see. “I bought some cookies after school. I thought the flowers on them were cute,” you explained, and for a split second, you swore Juza’s eyes widened slightly.
“… cookies?”
“Hm? Yeah. Do you like cookies?”
“… they’re fine,” he turned to face sideways, though that didn’t hide the pink blooming on his cheeks.
Oh?
“I’ll give you one later,” you said, doing your best to stifle the laugh that threatened to escape. How unexpected! That was kind of cute, actually. “We’re going to keep blocking the sidewalk at this rate, we should go.”
Somehow, the silence wasn’t so awkward this time, a little calming, even.
Thursday.
That was weird. No sight of Juza on the way to the flower shop— was he running late? Would he not be coming today, after all? For some reason, the thought made you a little sad. Perhaps you were starting to enjoy his company, after all.
Your co-worker gave you a knowing glance as soon as you entered the building, and any confusion immediately dissipated as you saw your purple-haired… friend? (Did he consider you two as friends?) by the yellow pansies.
“Juza-kun!” you greeted with a smile, pleased to hear him say your name as he greeted you back. Even with just this much, you were glad to have crossed a new boundary with him.
You nearly ran over to him, only stopping midway as you heard quiet laughter. You turned to face your fellow florist, holding up your work apron.
Aha, right.
“I’m only doing this as a favour to Tsukioka-san,” she mimicked as soon as you stepped in the backroom, “he’s not my boyfriend~”
How was this woman older than you?
You groaned, trying to put on your apron as fast as possible before bolting out the door. “Byeeee,” you said, hiding from her line of sight as you rushed over to Juza.
“Hey,” you greeted again, alerting him of your presence, even though he probably already knew you were there beforehand.
“Haven’t seen this one yet,” he commented, eyes a little narrower as he looked at the bouquet of yellow blotch pansies. “You said they meant happiness, right?”
The corners of your lips turned upward. “Oh, you remembered!” you said in delight, if not a little proud, “yep! Happiness in general… but,” you trailed off, causing your companion to look at you with interest.
“Is there another meaning?”
You laughed a little awkwardly, not meeting his gaze while not exactly avoiding it either. “I mean, it’s more of a personal interpretation, so it’s not really important.”
You could still feel his eyes on you, making you feel a bit self-conscious. Aha, seriously, the atmosphere between the two of you was already good— what were you doing?
“… I do think your opinion is important, though.”
You coughed, looking at him with a mixture and disbelief. Surprisingly, he didn’t retract or back down from his statement at all, further amplifying your flustered feelings. He remained unbothered, almost as if he somehow didn’t realise your reaction?
“Um, well,” you began, “you know how there’s like a dark coloured blotch within the yellow follower?”
Juza hummed in response, letting you know that he was following.
“On one hand, I think it could mean pretending to be happy even though you’re in a dark place,” you explained, “but it could mean finding happiness even though you’re battling your inner demons…”
He doesn’t respond for what seems like minutes, and you have half the mind to quickly change the topic. Your interpretation was probably a bit of a reach, wasn’t it? Too edgy, perhaps?
“… that was good,” he said, “I liked what you said.”
Though his praise was simple, you found yourself beaming anyway. It… was nice to know that he appreciated what you said.
Before you could get another word in, you heard the door swing open. You should probably attend to that.
You turned your back to Juza, about to walk away from him until you felt a tug on your arm. You stilled, wondering what could have possibly prompted the sudden contact.
“Juza-kun?” you asked quietly, voice unexpectedly shaky.
“… your apron is loose.”
“Oh! Thanks, I, uh, probably didn’t tie it properly,” you reasoned, your arms reaching back behind you to tie it, a somewhat futile attempt but an attempt nonetheless.
You failed to notice the cherry red blush on Juza’s face, to focused on trying to remove your own.
Friday.
“So how many colours are there?”
“Way too many,” you answered, “like sometimes they come in one colour, sometimes two or three; sometimes pastel, bright, or dark— all of them probably have different meanings too.”
You propped your elbows on the counter, hands cupping your face. In the past few days, you were able to accompany Juza wherever in the shop, but Fridays tended to be more busy compared to the other weekdays, causing the need to be heedful for incoming customers.
“So even more colours to learn…” you laughed out loud. How seriously was he taking this? Just for one flower?
“I mean you only really need to stay until you have enough info to flesh out your character,” you pointed out.
He didn’t reply for a while, and you had nearly worried that something had happened back there, but Juza piped back in the conversation eventually.
“So red symbolises passion, right?”
“Yep!” you said, fingers idly playing with the loose thread of your apron, “though I supposed a lot of red flowers mean passion and love, huh.”
“… and the white pansies?”
“It can mean purity and spirituality,” you started to explain, “but some say that when you give it to someone, you’re telling them to give you a chance.”
The room fell silent once more, but over the course of a week you didn’t mind it anymore. It was a little comforting, actually, having someone around— not even to help you with the shop or anything, but just a friend to talk to.
As you were about to close the shop, Juza appeared in front of you.
“I think I have my character figured out now,” he told you, and you felt yourself swelling with happiness and accomplishment.
“That’s great! Our hard work finally pulled through!”
The tiny hint of loneliness that you felt got left unsaid.
“Sorry for bothering you all week.”
“Trust me, I wasn’t bothered at all!”
Saturday.
“Huh, he’s not gonna be here today?” your co-worker asked as you arrived for your shift, “I legit thought you were joking about just helping him out of the goodness of your heart or whatever.”
You smiled a little sheepishly, “he already figured out what to do for his role. I’m sure he must be busy practising now, so I probably won’t see him around.”
You pretended to not see the look of sympathy thrown your way.
Sunday.
Two weeks had passed since you last saw him, and you chided yourself for thinking that the shop felt a bit emptier lately. At what point did you get so fond of him?
Even now, on the way to the shop, you found yourself stopping at the street corner, as though he’d be there again and was just too shy to enter without you.
Seriously, just what were you doing? Friends could go a while without seeing each other, it wasn’t a big deal.
Or at least that was what you told yourself for a grand total of three minutes, because that all came crumbling down as you saw his familiar figure standing outside the flower shop.
“Juza-kun?”
You approached him with slow steps, briefly wondering if you just went through some next level hallucination, but the closer you got the more evident that he was the real thing.
“Umm, is there something you need?”
His eyes wouldn’t meet yours, not unlike the first couple of days you spent with him. “… here,” he unloaded the two things into your hands, one of which you recognised while the other was a mystery.
You checked the envelope first, a pleasant surprise greeting you.
“A play… your play ticket?” you asked him, and he nodded as though to confirm your assumption.
“I remember you said you weren’t busy during that time and day, so…” with a gentle smile, you tucked the ticket back inside the envelope for safe-keeping.
“I’ll be there to support you, for sure.”
With the mystery item set aside, only the white paper bag with the flower logo was left. Somehow, even without opening it, you already knew what the contents would be.
“… they had other colours and flavours for the cookies,” he said as you took out the small box of 6, “the ones with the white pansies are vanilla and cinnamon flavoured, and the ones with the pink pansies are dark chocolate and raspberry flavoured.”
It took a while for you to comprehend the situation, still a little befuddled by him even appearing again until you realised what he was trying to say.
“White and pink pansies,” you said with a laugh, before ushering him back inside the shop.
You suddenly felt a lot less lonely.
Tumblr media
“ thank you for your hard work today at the flower shop! here, feel free to take home these pansies with you~ ”
【 pansy 】 admiration, remembrance  【 pink pansies 】 gentle tenderness, innocence 【 blue pansies 】 calmness, trustworthiness  【 yellow pansies 】 happiness, bright disposition 【 red pansies 】 passion, love 【 white pansies 】 innocence, purity, “take a chance on me”
“ maybe you’d like some more flowers before heading home? ”

first off, i adore your writing style.
if it's not too heavy could i request a pre-t ftm reader with Juza? (if it's too heavy, or you don't feel you could do it accurately, that's fine as well ^^)
Aww thank you so so much! Really made me happy knowing you like my style! 💕
I’m sorry it took me this long to do though. I wanted you and everyone to enjoy it so I wanted to do some reading about the topic before. Apologize if how I wrote some things might not be completely right! I hope people who are more educated on the topic will hopefully help me improve educate myself better.
Hope you guys like it. Enjoy!💕
Title: Lovely smile
Pairing: Juza Hyodo x pre-t ftm! reader
Theme: Comfort/fluff
Juza might not understand it fully well, but since the first moment, he doesn’t mind
“S’okay”
You blink stunned, digesting his fast acceptance
He shrugs when he sees you are not reacting, trying to explain himself
“…that means you’re just as much of a man as I am, aint’ it? Fine by me. I love you the way you are... or choose to be. If you like yourself, that’s enough for me”
Oh, you could feel your mind and body releasing all the tension you had contained as he said those things to you. Juza thanking you for sitting him down with him after you calm down
Which makes you kiss him so hard he turns rigid and a blushing mess
I believe he would have some difficulties understanding some aspects
Probably will be found reading about gender identity in between the autumn plays so he can be of help and understand you better
You eventually talk to everyone at Mankai too. Of course, everyone does nothing but support you!
Did I mention Juza is very protective of you?
Like a big fluffy bear.
Someone makes a mean comment? Snort? You have to stop Juza because he’s already onto them to knock out teeth.
Will smile affectionately whenever you tell him you passed that day talking to the lady in the shopping mall
Regarding the clothes, wow, there’s not a day you are not borrowing something from him. Not that he minds, you look great.
Always right pronouns when he refers to you
Juza does his absolute best to help you with dysphoria. When you get dysphoric he usually holds you close, his strong and calming voice telling you how much of a great boyfriend you are
“My feet and hands are small”
“…like’em”
“I’m thinking of buying a binder”
“…let’s go tomorrow then”
You are everything to him, honestly. He wants you always to feel well and safe with him
-
“Thank you for coming!” the waitress smiled at you two as you paid for your coffee and cakes.
You and Juza had just finished having some sweets in the new patisserie that had opened next to Veludo Park. As you opened the door, you turned to your boyfriend when you heard a noise from behind him
“Excuse me, miss!” the waitress ran with something in her hand, “I think this is your wallet, right? You left it in our counter”
Indeed, it was yours “…uh, yes, sorry” Juza eyed you as you thanked her for noticing it before you two were farther and resumed your way out.
Having some time left before rehearsal, you two went to his shared room,  relaxing on the couch, you reading a book, while he tried to memorize the new script. A few minutes later, you noticed him staring at you. You left the book on your lap and smiled at him “Everything okay, Juza?”
Feeling caught, the autumn member blushed, looking down. You titled your head as he lifted his head again, frowning like he did when he was concentrating.
“…I wanted to ask you somethin’” he sat straighter.
You smiled at him, indicating him to keep going.
“I… ” he didn’t want to avert his eyes when asking the question. He needed to see your reaction “When people keep call you girl or miss… or give you looks, y’seem ‘kay… but I thought I’d be a shitty boyfriend if I didn’t ask… how you really feel.”
It hadn’t been that long since you had come out to Juza and you couldn’t be happier when your sweet lover didn’t think twice before accepting you.
You smiled at the memory “Okay, first? You would never be a shitty boyfriend. You’re the sweetest person I’ve ever met… metaphorically and literary” you laughed remembering how many cakes he just had eaten half an hour ago, and Juza felt his stomach swirl at the sound.
“Let’s see…” after that, you went quiet, trying to find a good way to explain your emotions and thoughts about others “To answer truthfully…” you looked up at the ceiling “It does hurt a little”
He nodded silently. He had expected a response like that “…I’m sorry” He took your hand and from the corner of your eyes you saw the way he looked at you, hoping he could take your pain away.
You pursed your lips, trying to control your emotions. You leaned and kissed his lips grateful. They tasted like chocolate and cream.
He squeezed your hand, letting you know he had liked it, and you smiled at the gesture, enjoying the clash between his rough hands against yours“…It’s okay. Really. You are here with me and so is everyone. That’s the only thing that matters to me. I might not physically be there yet but… it’ll be okay. Thank you for asking”
Juza nodded “I mean, even now you’re still the most handsome boy I’ve met… Never thought was goin’ to be a problem anyway”
You felt your face burning as you looked away, embarrassed “Juza!” you would never be able to keep a straight face when he threw you those compliments
Words like those meant more than he could ever imagine. You were a man, nothing would change that, and Juza loved you exactly like that.
He blinked, frowning confused when he saw you trying to remove the tears you had realised had formed in your eyes “…Y’okay?” he helped you drying them, caressing awkwardly your cheeks.
“Yes” he heard you whispering as you gave him a small smile, your foreheads touching as you leaned towards him again “I love you so much, Juza”
“…love you too” he murmured, relaxing before kissing you again. He truly loved your smile
 _____________________________________________________________
I truly believe Juza might be the equivalent of a life size bear in human form, love him so much.
Hope you guys liked it. Have a wonderful day! 💕

4 and 20 <3 for juza, taichi, and kumon!!
(this kinda factors into 20 for Taichi)
Hyodo Juza:
4. ♥ Do they spend a lot of time in the courting stage or attempt to get to first base as fast as possible?
Juza is nervous and completely out of his depth when it came to starting a relationship, letting alone keeping it afloat. He knew there were things he’d like to do with you, places he’d like to go with you, but how did he get that across? Fumbling with his own practice schedule while you’re busy with your own life can appear quite daunting but Juza finds it makes the time you spend together even more precious, and he realizes that the fact he’s willing to fight to spend time with you (you doing the same for him) meant that you were both on the right track.
20. ♥ How did their relationship start?
It was partially thanks to Kumon’s inability to keep the little things that Juza told him to himself, pushing Juza into action before his feelings were revealed by someone other than him. He has to quietly thank his little brother for pushing him to action as he may not have ever made a move if he didn’t, though he’s unsurprised when you confirm you’d picked up a lot of the hints that Kumon had been putting down. You’re happy that you didn’t hear his full feelings until it was directly out of his mouth, saying it made you happy to have actual confirmation that Juza was into you.
Hyodo Kumon:
4. ♥ Do they spend a lot of time in the courting stage or attempt to get to first base as fast as possible?
Kumon is the excitable type but he tries hard not to make you feel rushed, even if he’s super excited that you returned his feelings. He likes asking you out to do things with him even though he works himself up into an anxious fervor beforehand, knowing that you probably won’t reject him because you returning his feelings meant you wanted to spend time with him as well. He feared coming across to pushy, thereby making you feel obligated to go along with his whims, but you tell him you wouldn’t get caught up in his energy if you didn’t want to. You think the pace your relationship is going at, a little quicker than most but still carefully enough that you know he cares, is just fine for the two of you.
20. ♥ How did their relationship start?
Kumon knew he had to grow up a little before he could be a proper boyfriend for you, that he had to prove himself in more ways than one. He wanted to mature so that he could be exactly who you needed, someone you could lean on in your time of need, so being reunited at the point where he’s finally ready to ask you out happens a few years after the friendship is formed. You’re almost surprised to see the change in him but deep down he’s still the same old Kumon, full of energy and love, and he’s looking for a partner to go on exciting adventures with this (which he says he’s hoping will be you).
Nanao Taichi:
4. ♥ Do they spend a lot of time in the courting stage or attempt to get to first base as fast as possible?
Taichi fell head over heels nearly right away, practically ready to propose as he was sure he’d never find another person like you. Thankfully he’s surrounded by far more level-headed people who know what puppy love is, telling him not to act so desperately as it was more than likely going to scare you off if he came on too strong. He really does try to enjoy his time wooing you, happy to get to know you because he does think you’re a wonderful person.
20. ♥ How did their relationship start?
Taichi wanted it to be proper, getting a bouquet of carefully picked flowers and all on the day he finally decided to ask you out for real. There had been a bit of back and forth for awhile but he was seeing that you were coming around, that his dedication was proving that he only had eyes for you and you weren’t just a passing fancy to him. You’re glad that Taichi hadn’t lost his passion for you either, his confession loud and attention drawing when he finally pushed his nervousness deep down inside.

JuBan 1, 15, 17? :DDDD
Help I love writing for these two
1 - What are things they both find funny?
Watching Taichi beef it on a skateboard, and Kazunari mess up his tiktok dances. Banri likes to try and make Juza break character and laugh on stage because he’s a dick like that.
15 - What are traits they dislike in one another?
Banri wishes Juza would just say what he’s feeling, which is hilarious because Banri doesn’t even really know how to express his own emotions outside of anger.
“I can’t read your mind, Hyodo.”
“You’re sure as hell not easy to understand, either.”
Juza doesn’t like how difficult it seems to be for Banri to show genuine concern for anything. He has trouble taking anything seriously, and it gets annoying when Juza wants a serious answer.
“Don’t just wave this off. You can’t just assume things’ll work out for you like they always do.”
17 - What senses remind them of each other?
Anything sweet-smelling has Banri thinking of his boyfriend. He comes home with cupcakes and pastries more than he knows he should, but it’s one of the few ways he knows how to show he cares. Juza never complains.
The leaves changing in the Autumn remind Juza of Banri and when they first met. His life changed for the better that day even if he’d thought the exact opposite back then, but now he looks forward to Autumn more than any other season.
