Drabble Game #005

Juza Hyodo + "I could've saved you!" + “I don’t think so, you’re the greatest person I know.”

Juza was nothing but bad news… that's what you were told at least. He got into fights, he didn’t care about anything school related. He beat up a lot of people your age and was surrounded by bad people… That’s usually how things would go when you would hear about him. At school people avoided him no matter what. People would pick fights with him and he would win. You even heard that he got in a fight with a student from another school. 

But despite all these reasons, you were intrigued by this boy. You didn’t see him as a delinquent, you didn’t see him as someone bad. You saw him as someone who was quiet and reserved, only choosing to speak if necessary. You saw him as someone with a lot of thoughts that needed to be shared. You saw him for that one instance of kindness that one night. 

You were being followed and you knew it. A suspicious looking man was following you on your way home so you decided to stop by the nearest convenience store on your way home. This only confirmed your suspicion as the man had followed you inside.  You were beyond scared,  you didn’t know what to do… You didn’t know who to call as you knew most of your friends wouldn’t be in the vicinity which would be a problem if this man would continue to follow you. 

All of a sudden someone tapped you on the shoulder, you squeaked in surprise only to be met face to face by your classmate, Juza Hyodo. He looked at you with a look of concern and looked around, as if he knew the situation. 

He whispered to you, “I noticed the man following you, I assume that you don’t know him?”

You nodded softly. 

“I’m going to walk you home, but you have to pretend to be my girlfriend so it seems more convincing. “

You looked at him wide eyed for a bit, then took his hand and smiled, “Thank you, this means a lot to me.”

True enough, as you and Juza exited the convenience store, the man tried to strike a conversation. 

“Hey beauty, mind giving me your number?” He asked, ignoring Juza slightly. 

Juza smiled in a threatening way, “Excuse me sir, but I don’t think that's how you should talk to my girlfriend.”

The man, realizing how threatening Juza’s aura is, apologized in a half-assed manner and started running away. 

Back to the present, you often think of that scenario and that was what truly brought you and Juza together. Now, you were proud to call him your boyfriend, the so-called delinquent they said could not love anyone. 

Juza looked at you from his spot on your lap, “What’s wrong, y/n?”

You laughed, “Nothing, I was just wondering why you saved me that night…”

He looked at you with calm eyes, “Well, I didn’t want my last train of thought to be; I could’ve saved you. When I had the capacity to do exactly that. I didn’t care about if you wouldn’t accept, I just wanted to try… and thank god you did.”

You ran your fingers through his hair, “I don’t think so, you’re the greatest person I know. I mean, I don’t think I would ever have said no if I went back in time… Also you are truly the greatest person I know, Juza. I love you…”

He sits up smiling, “I love you too.”  He says sealing the moment with a kiss.

Actually really rich now that you think of it

Super sweet and helpful

She and her brother Aether get into trouble a lot though

“Aether I swear to god what prank is it this time?”

More like he gets into trouble

Funny since they don’t even go to the same school

Loves playing sports, varsity volleyball player and taekwondo athlete

Basically she can kick your ass

Xiao helps her with her math

Because Aether doesn’t like helping her

Buys a lot of sweets when they’re abroad

Knows a lot about being a capitalist

Loves playing jokes on people

If there are people he idolizes in pranks

It would have to be the Weasley Twins

He loves playing pranks with his friends

Is close friends with Bennett, they play all sorts of pranks

Lumine has to cover for him most of the time

So their parents don’t take away his credit card

But either way he knows how to make money

He sells all kinds of things that are in

He supplied almost a half of his schools’ metal straw population

“The girls will love it if you save the turtles.”

Actually really smart

Gets a lot of warning slips

Forgets his school ID a lot

Doesn’t wear the uniform right

Loves playing sports

Is the star of the  baseball team

Does really well in the math subjects

Also tutors people

“You didn’t get this...it's actually this…”

Tutors Bennett the most tho

Bennett has so much bad luck but it never rubs off on him

Once they were passing by the cafeteria

Some chairs were newly painted

Bennett sat on a wet paint one

Aether did not

Just really unlucky

A really good student

Hardworking

No one likes being grouped with him tho

That’s bc his group projects always somehow

But his best friend is in ABM

“Why do I always have rotten luck?”

Voted to be the most concerning with regards to his future

Its not because he’s dumb

It's because he’s just hella unlucky

He’s really outgoing though

Has fun with people

But at times people hang out with him at a safe distance

That's only when things get worse

Plays basketball

Surprisingly lucky there

He’s the star player

Its seems like all his luck goes into academics or sports

But not into his daily life activities

Hello!!! As you may or may not know, I am from the Philippines! I’ve been thinking of which schools the Genshin Characters would fit into in my country. She’s one of those kids with a handkerchief at all times

“Ate Hu Tao can suffer.”

Loves her Kuya Baizhu and he’s always caught in between their fights.

Best friends with Klee from a different school somehow

The really LOUD and chaotic grade schooler

Talks even in class 24/7

She is loved by her classmates

But that's because she makes them laugh

Is Diluc’s younger sibling

“Kuya Diluc I want ice cream!”

Once got a verbal warning slip

Because she hit a sign in the classroom almost causing it to fall

Doesn’t really get along with Diona, a middle schooler

Diona

Very noisy

Loves going out with friends

Is really short for a middle schooler

Looks like she’s in grade school

But she’s grade 6 

Loves making fun of the older students

Loves cats

Is not close with the younger ones

Hates Diluc, her cousin

“Kuya Diluc you’re annoying”

Is Kaeya’s younger sibling

“Kuya Kaeya can we go watch movies?”

Kaeya spoils her

Probably why she’s so bratty

Just like her kuya

Jean is the only one she actually listens to

“I’m sorry ate Jean…”

Is exposed to so much information

Well duh she’s Kaeya’s sister

Knows about alcohol

Found her sibling drunk once and figured it all out from there.

Just a Boy, Just a Girl.

hello! It’s been a while. My main downfall would always be consistency but I’m trying to fix that. I’ve come up with a writing schedule to train my consistency and today is the first day! Here’s a little Oikawa Tooru x Reader that may have hit a little close to home. tw // self-confidence issues self-doubt and just being unconfident in everything. 

Genre: Somewhat angst(?) with a happy ending.

”What do you see yourself doing for the rest of your life, Tooru?” You asked the brunette one night as you both gaze at the stars.

Oikawa Tooru was no doubt going to answer volleyball, the boy was smart, alluring and sometimes somewhat scary because of how good he was at what he is known for, being a setter.  Tooru to many, is the one person who deserved to go to nationals, but never could. The one person who is strong enough to conduct a whole team better than those who conduct orchestras. He was powerful, his aura commanded attention no matter what. 

And there was you, plain old you. Or at least, that is how you viewed yourself as. You could never compare to Tooru, Iwa or any of your school peers at Aoba Johsai. In fact, you weren't sure how you even got in the school in the first place. It was a prestigious private school, filled with those who excelled. You aren't too sure if you do any of those excelling things at all. Hell, you aren't even sure what you want to do with your life. Your fears of not being good enough for anything you actually love doing always creep in. 

You'll never reach the height of your dreams. 

You better find another, more attainable dream to work with. 

Thoughts like these invade the confines of your brain and give you reasons to eat away at your confidence yourself. 

"I'll be playing volleyball of course, and you dear y/n?" Tooru replied, as he turned from his position laying on the grass beside you. 

So when he directed the question towards you, you didn't even know how to reply.  It was unfair really, how everyone else had their shit together. Yet you on the other hand struggled to even get your college applications in. You opened your mouth but no words came out and you could only look ahead as Tooru kept looking at you. You didn't even know when, but you started crying. 

Tooru looked at you with wide eyes at first, but he knew you so well. He knew how long you had held all of this inside. He knew that you had such a bad habit of beating yourself up, even if he knew that you were the opposite of all those self doubts. Tooru knew you better than you thought. 

He knew you as the vibrant yet awkward y/n. The beautiful girl in his class that he is lucky to call his friend, someone he wished he had more with. You lit up his world. He knew that you were vulnerable. He knew that you were just a girl. But you were also more than just a girl. He knew that you were powerful in your own right and that you could command respect if you wanted to. He knew that you chewed on your straw when you would think of things that would be a cause for you to self doubt. He had always wanted to find a way to stop you from thinking this way. 

Because he loved you, no matter how you viewed yourself.

He held you close, as you laid on his chest that night. The stars in the sky being one of your only comforts. 

“I think you know what you want to do, you just don’t feel like you’re enough,” He paused, taking a deep breath. 

“I’d give anything for you to feel, at least once, that you are enough.”

And that’s how you were reminded, that your Tooru was just a boy as well. 

Tooru was just a boy who feared that he wasn’t good enough almost all the time as well. Beating himself up whenever they would lose in matches, especially to Shiratorizawa. He was just a wide eyed boy with big dreams, but you knew he had the capacity to reach these heights. He had fears of his own, fears of not being able to reach these wonderful things as well. But then you knew that, although you both are the same, you both are not at the same time. Tooru chooses to move forward, and you choose to stay still. 

So you finally say those words, the words he’s been wanting to hear, and words you knew you needed as well. 

“Tooru, I want to become a writer, I want to be myself and love myself again.”

He smiled at you, petting your hair “That’s my girl, that’s the y/n I’ve been looking for.”

This was a step, it may not seem like a big one, but it is. He knew that both of you had a long way to go, and he hadn’t even confessed yet. But he knew in that moment, that you both would be there for each other, no matter what were to happen.

Will You Find Your Way Back?

A Kitsune!Akaashi x Reader Reincarnation!AU

Loosely based on what a Kitsune is, its more of a reference than a really in-depth depiction. I hope you enjoy as I am back ^-^

Akaashi has always loved you, will you always find your way back home to him?

Living for centuries now isn’t something Akaashi had thought he would be happy with. If you had told him exactly fifteen centuries ago that he would be living in a time where there were no horses on the main streets and cobblestone roads would eventually turn into smooth pavements, he would have laughed. He would’ve laughed even more if you had told him that he would be waiting, every lifetime, for one person only. A person who he would repeat the same cycle with all the time.

Someone whom he loved dearly, his y/n.

If you had told the newly turned, at the time, kitsune all this you would’ve just earned a laugh from him… Akaashi Keiji, now around ten thousand years old, could only wonder if he would react this way… It was now the year 2050 and this would be by far, the most frustrating lifetime his partner has had so far.

There was always some way for them to meet. Some chance, some encounter that would bring them together… but for some odd reason, it was taking way too long. The days dragged on for way too long. He was feeling restless as each day passed. He wanted nothing more but to feel her presence, the spirit he knew to be one with his.

The last time it took her this long to come back to him, well, wasn’t that a story to tell.

It was the age of princesses, kings and ruling monarchs… she was a princess from a neighbouring country. He remembered the way his “brothers” wanted her, the way she lit up the room. The way she commanded respect, the way that her culture was so different from that of theirs.

You see, the way that Akaashi and y/n are able to keep this cycle going is through a promise made between them and the moon. The moon appreciated the dedication and love both had for each other, thus the moon granted them this, eternal lives with each other, as long as they were dedicated enough to each other.

As the young prince Keiji sat by his father and older brothers,  he felt a presence he knew all too well and a ghost of a smile crept onto his face. Something that was rather a rare sight to see in the young prince for sure. His father, the king, looked at his son and thought that he had seen the young princesses on his walk before coming into the throne room.

“Presenting, the King and Queen of (y/c) and their daughters.” Once they were announced Akaashi and his family stood to greet them and there she was.

There was y/n. She wasn’t the prettiest of the princesses, they would say. But Akaashi knew that they were all wrong. y/n’s eyes glimmered like gems of the best quality, her hair felt like the finest of silk. But these were all shallow reasons as to why she was the prettiest princess.

But unlike Keiji, his brothers wouldn’t see it the way he did.

A few hours after the tea party with the neighboring countries’ nobles, Keiji and his brothers were left alone.

"That one princess, y/n I believe was her name, I think she's the prettiest…" His oldest brother, Akinori, says as Keiji looks at him secretly with narrowed eyes.

The twins, Osamu and Atsumu nod as they look up from their game of chess.

“She is, indeed, the prettiest.” Osamu says in agreement.

“Who do you think father would let her marry though? I hear she is to marry one of us…” Atsumu thinks out loud.

Keiji’s eyes widen as he looks up from his calligraphy, still listening to his brothers.

Akinori lets out a hearty laugh, “Well, if none of you would object, I would be asking father for her hand.”

Keiji sighs, “I believe that a princess like her would prefer to choose who she marries. She strikes me as someone with a will and mind of her own, dear brother.”

“That is true, Prince Keiji.” The four princes turn to the source of the voice, the very princess that is the subject of interest…

Looking back, Keiji found it funny as his brothers tried everything to win her over, so did the princes of neighbouring kingdoms. But as fate would have it, they would always be drawn to each other. After months of turning down princes, and silly banter between the two, the strong willed princess y/n became his in that cycle of theirs…

So why was it taking so long for her to return? Keiji longed for her to put her arms around him, for her to press flush against his chest. He longed to love her just like he would cherish her in every lifetime.

He was a manga writer and editor in this new cycle. He was gaining attention and had gained a following for the manga he had written based on his many lives with his beloved. Everything he did was for her, and her only. He could only wait for the day she would show up in this life, and then the next and so on until they become lovers for all eternity.

As a kitsune, it's rather not normal for them to only have one soul attached to theirs, or just one someone who their soul resonates with rather. But with y/n, he felt no need to love anyone else… or so he thought.

On a sunny day, he thought of y/n and the many memories they have made over their lifetimes… Her soul was so pure, so untainted and filled with love for only him… Little did Keiji know that he had attracted another soul in the process. He was on his way to work when he had sensed a rather, odd presence. It wasn’t y/n, yet he felt as if this was a spirit close to him in a previous life.

Then it hit him, and he knew who it was.

He was the team captain of the volleyball team he was in a past lifetime with y/n, Bokuto Kotaro.

Bokuto was a free spirit, someone Akaashi and y/n herself was close with. They bonded so often that everyone thought that they were all in a relationship together. Not that he would mind, but Akaashi wanted to keep y/n for himself for as long as he could.

For some reason, Bokuto’s spirit was now somewhat connected to both y/n’s and Akaashi’s. Akaashi would have to find out why but for now he wanted to see the former captain. Even if he would not have any recollection of his past life. As he wandered around, he was suddenly hit with a familiar feeling, it was her.

She was finally near, he could sense her a mile away.

He knew where she was, he knew the area like the back of his hand.

As he neared the coffee shop he felt her presence at, he was hit with another, this time it was Bokuto’s. He found this odd but let it slide nonetheless. He knew that, in this lifetime, they would most likely have the same names and look the same… Fate was odd that way, yet Akaashi wouldn’t have it any other way.

As he ran to the shop he bumped into the people he sought after.

“Oh, I’m truly sorry. I wasn’t looking.” He bows as they dust themselves off as well.

Bokuto is the first to reply. “It’s alright, it was an accident.”

He looks at them and y/n smiles, “I’m sorry this may be weird, but have we met before?”

Akaashi smiles, “You two actually look familiar as well.”

“Well, my name is Bokuto Kotaro,”

“Akaashi Keiji.”

“And this, is my loving wife, l/n y/n.”

Akaashi felt like the world had crashed on him as they smiled at him, realizing that their souls were actually meant for this.

How cruel was fate and the moon to such a poor kitsune who chose to love one person for all his life?

hello!

I’m really sorry I disappeared again...I pressured myself too much and kept thinking that I would never be able to deliver as best as I could and ended up burning myself out. I love writing and creating art but for some reason, as others would also feel, insecurities would creep in and I would feel really lost in thought and such. It’s a process and for me to go back into this cycle made me feel so worthless. But then I realized that I need to be more confident and try to feel like I can do things, I’m doing better now...I’ll try to post soon, so don’t worry!

Tsukishima Kei + “I think I wanna marry you.” + “Was That a reference to a song or?”

Non lazy days with Kei were rare. But since there was a dinosaur exhibit in town, he was excited to bring you out of the house. It has been at least 7 years since you two have met. You were both in your first year of high school at Karasuno when you had met the so-called salty boy. 

You were one of the members of the light music club and you were on vocals and the keyboard. You don’t know how you found yourself at the entrance of the boys volleyball team gym… oh wait, you did know. Kiyoko was your cousin and you needed to give her something from your mom. You two were close and she supported you whenever you had performances with your band even in junior high. When you and your bandmates all passed Karasuno, you were all happy. In turn she wanted you to meet more of the volleyball team. 

So there you were, at the entrance of the volleyball team’s gym when Kiyoko notices you and smiles. Your friend Yachi also smiled as you entered the gym, she was now the first year manager for the team after all. You were then introduced to all the boys, and to the coach and advisor. 

Eventually you grew close to all of them, and managed to fall in love with your now long time boyfriend, Tsukishima Kei. 

Kei looked at you as you both tried various games at the exhibit, you may have not fallen for him at once. But he surely fell for you the first time he saw you. Which was not at the gym where you had “first met”. 

Truth be told, he had first seen you at a busking event you had with your team during a festival in Miyagi...

Kei wandered around with Yamaguchi as they tried out different treats and went around different booths. They were about to leave, since he was getting bored and well, Yamaguchi couldn’t say no. That was until he saw you and your band, playing a song…

It was an English song to be exact, a song he will never forget to this day. He was so entranced by the way your fingers glided over the keyboard. Or how you could focus on both singing and playing amazed him even more. 

Tsukishima Kei had never told you of this encounter with you, well… not until years later. 

As you stand beside Kei as a band of teens around the age you were when you first met were busking, he couldn’t help but remember what happened all those years ago. He truly loved you, he loved listening to your voice, voice cracks and all. He loved how you couldn’t play sports to save your life, but you supported him nonetheless. So there he stands, ready to tell you about the actual day he first saw you. 

“Hey y/n?”

You look at him, “Yes Kei?”

“You know, I actually saw you before that day at the gym… in an event similar to this.”

“Oh wait! You were at the festival weren’t you? You did look very familiar.” You teased, smiling as he actually remembered this all this time. 

“Yeah,” he stood closer to you, “I remember the song you were singing that day… I think I wanna marry you…”

Your eyes grew wide, he even remembered the song? That was so sweet of him… then it dawned on you, wait… was just that…?

“Was that a reference to the song or?” 

Boy were you wrong, and you were so happy to be…

He got down on one knee and the band of teens noticed and actually played the song you played with your own band all those years ago. 

“y/n l/n, that was me trying to tell you. But will you be mine forever? Will you be Tsukishima y/n?”

You cried as you felt like you were back in Karasuno, in high school, everything felt so surreal but you knew it was reality. 

You nodded as he slipped the ring on your finger. Who knew that a song like that would be the beginning and end to a chapter you had together?
