one year ago, this week: São Paulo GP 2021

NOVEMBER 13TH, 2021, 16:00 (BRT):

after a string of disappointing races, lewis hamilton, second in the championship standings by 19 points, qualified in P1 for the upcoming sprint race. after qualifying, hamilton was referred to the stewards for a technical infringement; the car’s drag reduction system's (DRS) opening slot was larger than permitted. he was later disqualified from qualifying, forcing him to start at the back of the grid for the sprint race the next day.

NOVEMBER 14TH, 2021, 16:30 (BRT):

at the sprint qualifying, hamilton stormed through the field, managing to go from P20 to P5 in just 24 laps. however, hamilton received a five-place grid penalty for exceeding his quota of internal combustion engines (ICE), thus starting the race in P10.

NOVEMBER 15TH 2021, 14:00 (BRT):

during the race, hamilton had a mega start, getting up to P6 before the first lap was even completed. by lap 18 out of 71 total, he was running P2, chasing max verstappen. by lap 44, after two rounds of pit stops, he was once again P2, closing in on the race leader.  on lap 48 he attempted to overtake verstappen, moving around the outside at turn 4 – but verstappen pushed him wide, off the track. the stewards deemed no investigation necessary. on lap 59, hamilton had DRS on the run up to turn 4. he made the move around the outside on the straight, claiming P1. ultimately, lewis hamilton won the race by 10.4 seconds, waving the brazilian flag, to the delight of the passionate fans on the interlagos grandstands.

F1 world is sometimes so funny to me like...people ask Lewis about Max, and they are baffled about his answers, call him petty and disrespectful and other names. Bitch please, he is one-half of the brocedes, of the silver war. He was serving cunt right up there with male manipulator Nico Rosberg in who was the pettiest (Grammarly corrected this to prettiest, which, ok, i agree). Why are people so surprised (and offended), honestly? Have they forgotten? Maybe they did. Nico, go get vaccinated and offend everyone. They are growing mellow.

I force myself to go to the gym because I tell myself Lewis would be proud of me. It’s embarrassing but it really works…..

It's not embarrassing. Not at all. Whatever works, works.

I've been trying to motivate myself too using all sorts of excuses but my mind is way too stubborn. I am always ready to give up just after the first set of my workout (which is literally the warm up 😭😭😭). Maybe it's a phase but I haven't been able to stick to my diet or my workout at all. So, I just resort to skipping meals or starving myself in order to make up for the lack of exercise.

But I've made up my mind that once i hit a certain benchmark in terms of my weight, I'll join the gym 😭
