*Part 2*

Elijah had been the one to tell Hayley about your location and it only took her a couple of days to come by the house to see you. “So you're the pack royalty that they were talking about.” You said as you looked at her. “When I am technically royalty but I never lived with my parents, the only reason I found out was because I was pregnant with Klaus’ child.” Hayley explained. “That sounds taxing.” Stiles said from where he was sitting across the room, his laptop was open as he worked through some case files. “I didn't expect that there would still be royal families alive, at least not ones that still followed the old rules.” Hayley said and you shrugged. “My Dad’s strong, smart, he knows to keep close, he never really bothered with the outside world too much but I really didn’t want to be a princess in the first place.” You shrugged “I came here because there were enough supernatural creatures here that I could blend in a little but I ended up finding these guys and I’m happy here now.” “Yeah, well if you ever need help you can count on the crescent moon pack.” Hayley said. “You know you don’t have to do this to fix the whole Klaus situation.” You said and she looked at you and shook her head. “That’s not what this is.” She said. “Then what is it?” You asked. “Elijah was right, you really are cautious.” You said. “I care about everyone here and I know that there is no one in the world that gives without expecting something in return.” You explained. “I just want the guarantee that if something happens to us there will be a place here for Hope.” She said and you looked at her and frowned. “Why here?” You asked. “Given the state of your pack you accept all species and she’ll need that if anything happens to us.” Hayley explained. “Well I have no problem with your daughter coming here as long as the alpha agrees.” You said. “The alpha is going to agree even if she’s just like her dad.” Stiles muttered and you rolled your eyes. “Stop.” You ordered. “There is a place for her.”

The day that your daughter was born it was a happy day for the pack, everyone loved the new addition and you were home happy and healthy, you had just managed to get her to go to sleep when a knock sounded at the door, you walked down the stairs but Scott had gotten to the door before you did but you recognised the scent of an old acquaintance. “Is (Y/N) here?” He asked. “Can I ask who you are?” Scott asked. “An old friend.” He answered. “That’s not what I would call you.” You said making your presence known in that sentence Scott put himself between you and the man at the door. “Leave.” Scott ordered and the man looked at him and smirked. “Sorry but I’m not a werewolf, your whole Alpha thing won’t work on me.” He said and you looked at him and rolled your eyes. “But you're still a vampire and if he bites you, you will die, so do you want to be a part of that fight or not?” You asked. “Leave.” “You belong to me, your father promised my family. We were together.” He glared at you and you rolled your eyes. “We both know that it was over the moment that your parents betrayed him.” You answered. “Leave now or I’ll make you.” Scott ordered, his fangs flashed in warning. “Your family thinks itself royalty amongst the vampires so what do you think would happen if I told the originals that?” You asked. “They’re a myth-” “Go to New Orleans and then come back here if you still think it's a myth.” You taunted him, he frowned. “They’re in New Orleans?” He asked. “Just leave.” You ordered before turning to walk back up the stairs.

You were in the nursery making sure that you little girl was okay “how is she?” Scott asked softly as he walked in wrapping an arm around your waist. “She's fine, still sleeping.” You answered as he guided you back to the chair urging you to sit down. “Who was that?” He asked. “An ex, his family were killing off the human members of the pack back when I was younger and the families devised a plan for peace which involved an arranged marriage but the vampires betrayed the alliance and the marriage was called off.” You explained. “I guess he heard that I was here and thought that he might be able to call on a claim.” “Don’t worry I’ll protect you, no matter what.” He promised as he pressed a gentle kiss to your lips. “I know you will.” You smiled. “You should get some rest.” He said and you nodded. “In a minute I just want to watch her for a moment.” You said.

The next morning there was commotion when you woke up, it seemed that the pack was in the middle of something. “What is going on?” You asked as you made you way down the stairs, Lydia was holding little Andrea and Liam had his back pressed against the front door. “Um nothing.” He answered. “Nothing?” You asked. “Mm.” He hummed, nodding his head. “Open the front door.” You ordered. “There’s nothing out there, why don’t you go back upstairs or something.” Liam suggested. “Open the door.” You insisted and he sighed before opening the door, your eyes widened when you realised that your father was at the door. “There you are.” He smiled. “What are you doing here?” You asked. “I’m not going home.” “I’m not here to try and take you anywhere, I understand that you are happy here.” He said with his hands up. “I just wanted to know my granddaughter and promise that if you need it we will be here to help.” He explained. “Mm.” You hummed as you looked at your daughter across the room. “Well you can start by dealing with that family you promised me to.” “Done.” He said as he waved off two of the 4 guards that had been with him. “So where is she?” “Wait, you have to promise that you aren’t going to bring any problems with you.” You ordered. “Her safety is all the matters, the same as yours.” He promised. “The first slip up and you're gone.” you warned him. “Fine , then meet your granddaughter.” You said as you allowed him to come in, and walked over to Lydia who handed you your baby “Andrea.” “It’s lovely to meet you little one.” He said softly as he looked at her glad that he had come by to see her, the future of the pack.
