Concept designs for Reese Hawkins (formerly Heidi Tombs) in an alternate universe on my friends, @dani-luminae , fic, Stars On Earth, that we talk about at times.
The adopted daughter of Jim Hawkins and adopted younger sister of Lia, Reese doesn't like discussing her biological father, Hades, since he never really bothered to parent her, only giving her attention if it was to remind her how much of a failure she was being to him...though she guesses she must acknowledge his lack of attention is why she ended up in a family that does care about her, since she only really knew Jim and Lia from running into them in the market a-lot as Reese got curious about Jim's inventions if he had them on him, but then one day, Jim saw Reese walking around with a broken leg gained from trying to retrieve something from a high place after Mad Maddy threw it up there, and after learning her father didn't even care then, he ultimately decided enough was enough and Reese didn't return home that day, going to Jim's and Lia's instead and whatever Jim did to scare Hades ensured Reese and Hades never had an encounter that point onwards.
Loyal to her sister and an inventor like her father, Reese longs to leave the Isle one day like her family and see space...but much to disagreements with the two sister's father, also shares her sister's hopes in seeing the world beyond the Isle at least once, but despite it seeming hopeless after six months of nothing since the king's coronation and the Isle getting worser, Lia and Reese are surprised to find one day on the Isle, the king himself - and Lia and Reese decide to try and keep him safe. This decision sets off an adventure that will change their lives.

A little scenario before I go to sleep even though it’s 6:45. Inspiration is princess and the frog :
I was trying to be angry at him over a minor incident. However, he put on the song "Ma Belle Evangeline" by Jim Cummings and Terence Blanchard, knowing that I loved it from the movie. I smiled at him and said, "You know, I wrote poems about this song."
"No wonder you love it so much," he replied. I came closer to him and wrapped my arms around his neck, rolling my eyes. "I love this song because it's romantic. He sang it to his love," I explained. "Who was a star," he argued. "Do you want me to forgive you or not?" I retorted. "Actually, I love this song and its context," he replied, trying to get on my good side. I hummed playfully and started swaying to the song, soon we were dancing to it silently.

hi, everyone!

A 26-year-old woman was shot and killed after residents in a Texas neighborhood saw her burglarizing cars, police say.
The shooting happened around 3:45 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, on the northwest side of Houston, where police found the gunshot victim “in a ditch next to the roadway,” according to a news release. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Multiple witnesses said the woman and a man were burglarizing vehicles in the neighborhood when one of the residents fired shots, police said. The woman was struck by the gunfire, while the unidentified man fled.
Charges have not been filed against the resident. The case will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
“I was asleep, and I just heard maybe 10 shots,” nearby resident Jim Blanchard told KHOU. “And then I got up and looked out the window, and then my neighbors, who’ve been there for 20 to 30 years, I saw them come out and look around and then go back in the house.”
Two weapons were taken from one of the homes on the block, police told KPRC.
Anyone with information about the male suspect is asked to contact Houston police at 713-308-3600.
