So ya'll think obi wan has them boots polished by the droids?
I mean a busy jedi master, council member and war general has got no time for polishing his gucci boots has he?
But since he is a vain little b*tch and fabulous and since the shiny boots belong to his signature look he can't go out without them nice and shiny
I'm also in full believe that he has a lifesize mirror in his room. At least i would if i was him to always be able to stop by and look at that magnificent beauty whenever theres a chance.
He also probably spends an hour in the bathroom in the morning i mean that glorious hair and beard won't take care of itself.
And you know what? He has every right to

One of the padawans asked me today who my favourite Star Wars character is.
He's a 15 year old boy so I lied and said Ahsoka.
I don't think I fooled him though, he has seen my keys 😂😂😂

I know nothing about Doctor Who except what friends occasionally excitedly tell me. I am also bored. Here is an undoubtably factual explanation of each of the ‘new?’ Doctors:
Doctor…. Who??????:
Tumblr media
I know nothing about this guy. Nobody I know talks about Christopher Eccleston nor have I caught wind of any internet discussion. My conclusion is there is a conspiracy to not talk about him for no reason other than the fandom got bored and thought it would be funny. I think this Doctor would like to go to football matches and would get very upset if the team he likes doesn’t win. You would probably randomly meet him at a pub and would have a nice chat with him, however, he’d take you back to the Tardis and you would most likely die via Dalek plunger (a thing I am informed they can kill you with). I also think he would like watching reality TV, he gives of that vibe.
Tumblr Doctor:
Tumblr media
The internet likes this guy. David Tennant is cool, so I understand. I think this is ‘wibbly wobbly timey wimey’ guy so I am inclined to think that he also says things like ‘milkys’ and ‘dindins’ to his friends. Even if he is not ‘timey wimey’ guy I still think he still would say ‘milkys’ and the like, gives off that vibe.
He has some angst to do with a woman. I’m not sure why but I’m guessing it’s to do with Thomas Edison. The Doctor knows he stole most of his inventions because he can time travel and saw it happen, not stopping him is one of the Doctor’s greatest failures, however, his lady friend is a victim of the British Education system and thinks otherwise. They break up over it, angst ensues, Thomas Edison has ruined someone else’s life even after he’s dead.
‘I don’t like this guy’ Doctor:
Tumblr media
I do not like this Doctor, worst one. Nothing against Matt Smith or his performance, I’m sure it was brilliant, I’ve seen that Van Gough clip and it made me cry 10/10. More importantly than that however, my supposed childhood best friend who was actually just bullying and manipulating me said he was her favourite so I look at him and remember I wasted my childhood with her. He can make it up to me if he time travels and gets child me a better friend. Then he will be the best Doctor.
He or Tumblr Doctor has a wife????? I think???? I’m not sure but which one it is but because of my bias I’m saying it’s this guy. I know it’s dodgy because of time travel so he needs to go to space jail (or as Tumblr Doctor probably calls it, the ‘Naughty Step’). I’m assuming they also have a child, making every reincarnation of the Doctor from here on out a deadbeat who needs to pay A LOT of child support. That is why he regenerated, so he could avoid paying it, ‘Court can’t prove I’m the Dad if I don’t have his face.’ Arsehole.
Screwdriver scandal TM Doctor:
Tumblr media
He looks like a nice guy. This Doctor would sit you down and give you a therapy session after you nearly get killed by a Weeping Angel. I would like having a talk with him, it would be nice. I feel like he is the most well adjusted Doctor, although that could just be Peter Capaldi’s immaculate vibes. This Doctor pays his taxes. He doesn’t like Paddington Bear for some reason. Due to his well adjustedness, I am lead to believe the twist in Paddington 3 is that Paddington is The Master (who I think is a villain) and will go on a rampage across London, turning people into Marmalade. It will be up to the Doctor and the family I’ve forgotten the name of, to stop him. This would also provide an explanation for why the Mum’s actor has changed, to fix Paddingtons mess they had to time travel which led to the Dad marrying a different woman.
He threw away the Sonic Screwdriver apparently. Previously mentioned childhood best friend complained to no end about it to me. Knowing fanbases other people were also likely very upset, I’m guessing it felt like it did to me when Luke Skywalker chucked his lightsaber over his shoulder in The Last Jedi. I also think Screwdrivergate is a tragedy because they didn’t take the opportunity to replace the Screwdriver with another, even sillier, Sonic _______. I suggest either a Sonic Scented Candle or a Sonic Keyring. Alas, it was not to be.
‘WOMAN AAAAAAAAAAAAA’ Doctor:
Tumblr media
People don’t like her because woman. People also don’t like her because of bad writing. Last time I checked, neither of these are Jodie Whittaker’s fault. I don’t have much to say about her except my new, (actually great this time) friend who likes Doctor Who has an emotional reaction every time she is brought up. Genuine sadness and disappointment in my friends eyes. I suggest that this means this is a fantastic Doctor, to the point it is art. A sign of good art is something that garners a strong emotional reaction. Despair at the state of the franchise and societies misogyny may not have been the intention, but a strong reaction is incurred nonetheless, so success, this is art now.
‘Guess Who’s back!’ Doctor:
Tumblr media
Erm, not sure how in canon this works but David Tennant seems to be having a nice time so it’s good. The alternative name for this Doctor is ‘Production Budget Doctor’ because from the ends of episodes I’ve seen (I watch Strictly Come Dancing because ooo pretty dresses and it’s on after) the Tardis looks very fancy and like it’s from a big budget film. Coffee also got spilled on it which is funny because it messed the Tardis up, meaning not even the technology of a near God can withstand dumbass humans with liquids. Hilarious. Also, an apt metaphor for many things.
In conclusion: I’m sorry for any brain damage caused to the good members of the Doctor Who fanbase who read this. Have a nice day.

MY THOUGHTS ON TALES OF THE EMPIRE BELOW WITH GRAINY SCREENSHOTS
@jedimasterbailey
Tumblr media
They got our baby girl in the same prison suit that Lumi had on 😭😭😭 the Jedi logo on the shoulder GOD. She looks so miserable
Tumblr media
Interesting outfit here. Is it me or does she look malnourished 🥺 (Also why dont we get to hear her speak at all???)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Grand Inquisitor! She does not look like she wants to be doing this. Also the fact that she's using a green lightsaber here like Lumi 🥺😭 AHHHHHHHHHH
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Could that be Luminara??? 😢 She just looks more like her. Also before anyone says she's fighting Barriss, nope. That inquisitor is a diff lady, refer to last screenshot. I think Barriss is the one running in the foreground in the first screenshot and I hope it's to save her Master 😭 I really dont want them to make her evil. I hope it's more like she's forced to and is trying to find ways to get away or find Lumi and then get away.
Tumblr media
Vader just passed by 😳 Does she know? Cuz she was the first to bow and since her face was exposed i wonder if it was to hide since he'd def kill her
Just FUCKKKK I NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS THOUGHT THIS WOULD HAPPEN. They better do her justice I swear cuz she would not willingly be an inquisitor or work for the Empire in any way and i will die on that hill

Ahsoka Tano & Ursa Wren
The Promise
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Story Summary: One night before the Purge of Mandalore, Ursa Wren makes a desperate plea to Ahsoka Tano.
“Lady Tano,” called Huyang. “There is a call coming through for you. It is labeled urgent by the sender.”
Ahsoka Tano opened her eyes, coming up from a deep meditation. Ill tidings could be felt through the Force and her dreams of late had been filled with fire and death.
She rose slowly from the training floor within her T-6 shuttle; the lights were dimmed inside at her command, the only sound being the quiet hum of the engines as they traveled through hyperspace. Grabbing a night robe from the nearby worktable and slipping it on, she walked into the cockpit, giving a nod to Huyang.
He switched the comm channel open. A hazy blue light began to emanate from the instrument panel before sharpening into the image of a familiar figure.
It was Ursa Wren, the mother of her padawan, Sabine Wren. The Countess of Clan Wren stood tall and proud, garbed in her beskar armor, but her face was noticeably more lined and wearier than Ahsoka had ever seen it.
"Hello, Ahsoka," she said. Even exhausted, the Mandalorian's eyes burned with a tenacity that the Jedi found intimidating, despite her years of experience as a warrior.
Ahsoka, hiding her surprise, adopted a neutral tone. She wasn't particularly close to Sabine's mother; Sabine had warned against it, considering the subject of her Jedi training was a touchy subject with Ursa.
"Hello, Ursa," she replied. "I take it you have news?"
Ursa nodded. "The Clans are preparing for war."
Ahsoka grimaced. It was to be expected but she had thought the Empire would not be so bold as to move against Mandalore this late in the war.
But Moff Gideon was no ordinary servant of the Empire. There were no lines he would not cross to please his master.
"No word from Bo?" asked Ahsoka. She knew that Bo Katan, leader of Mandalore, had gone to meet with Moff Gideon as a last-ditch effort to stay his hand.
The Mandalorian shook her head. "None. I cannot tell you if she is being held hostage or worse."
She paused. "I think this attack, Ahsoka," she finally said after a long moment, "will be the worst Mandalore has seen in generations. I think this will be the end."
Ahsoka sucked in a breath. "What do you mean, Ursa?"
Ursa smiled bitterly. "I think this is the death of us all."
"Mandalore," Ahsoka argued, "has survived worse. It survived Maul."
"We had a Republic and a plucky young Jedi who helped us out of that particular situation," Ursa remarked wryly. "We have none of those now."
"Sabine and I can be there within a day," Ahsoka said. "I'm nearby - "
"No." Ursa's statement struck Ahsoka with its finality, stopping her from finishing her reply.
She blinked in shock. "No? You don't want us to help?"
Ursa took a deep breath and closed her eyes before replying. "Correct. I want you to keep Sabine far away from Mandalore."
Ahsoka leaned back in her chair and folded her arms. She stared at the hologram for a moment, thinking. Ursa was an experienced warrior, just as she was; she had seen action during the Clone Wars and had fought alongside her and Bo Katan in re-taking Mandalore from Maul. Ahsoka knew better than to doubt her judgment.
If Ursa thought this was the end of Mandalore, then it was.
"That will be a difficult task," Ahsoka pointed out. "You know how stubborn Sabine is. She will want to help."
Ursa snorted. "I trust you can handle her. You've been keeping her in line so far."
"Barely," Huyang said from beside her. Ahsoka turned in her chair to glare at the droid. He shrugged.
"What if I leave Sabine behind and come to you by myself? Surely - "
"No!" Ursa shouted. "I want you beside Sabine when this goes down. Without you there to stop her, she'll find a way to Mandalore and she will die. I will not see her die here!"
"Ursa," Ahsoka said firmly, "Sabine is your daughter. Her place is by your side. With her family. With her clan!"
Ursa's smile was sad. "Not anymore. Our paths diverged a long time ago. She has a new family now."
Ahsoka shook her head. "She would disagree. The Ghost crew is not a replacement for you, Alrich, and Tristan."
Ursa stared at Ahsoka. "Listen to me closely, Jedi. I am not asking you to do this. I am telling you. You are to keep my daughter safe and away from this madness."
Ahsoka narrowed her eyes. "I don't take orders from you, Mandalorian."
"This," seethed Ursa, "is the natural order of things. Sabine will realize that someday."
"Sabine will - ", Ahsoka started to argue but was cut off.
"Oh, she will rage," Ursa interjected. "She will be furious, I know. She will grieve. But, most importantly to me, she will be alive. This is how it should be. When I lost my own parents to a civil war between clans, I felt the same way; I raged at the cruelty of the universe, at its unfairness. And do you know how it answered me?"
"How?" Ahsoka asked quietly.
Tears in her eyes, Ursa said, "It told me that it was better that I should lose them, rather that they lose me. It told me that it had seen grief a thousand times over, since the first star bloomed to life in the darkness of space; that it had seen countless children lose their parents to senseless tragedy. I was no different. And that is how it should be. That is how it always should be; that children bury their parents and mourn for them and not the other way around."
Ahsoka just sat there, listening to her words.
"I will not," said Ursa, her voice quavering, "bury my daughter. I won't. I refuse to lead her to a certain death. As her mother, who raised her to never run away from a fight, it kills me to deny her. I would love to have her fight by my side one last time. But, also as a mother, I cannot allow it."
"What about Tristan?" Ahsoka countered. "Is he not your child also?"
Ursa grimaced. "He's already here. I cannot dissuade him from his choice, no matter how hard I try. He refuses to leave."
She looked away for a moment. "I raised him too well. He is a Mandalorian, through and through."
Ahsoka looked at Ursa, seeing the tears stream down the woman's face. "She won't take your decision well," said Ahsoka.
Ursa shrugged. "I'm used to it. Sabine hating me is nothing new."
"No," Ahsoka said, suddenly feeling tired. "Sabine never hated you. You've never seen her hate."
Ursa raised an eyebrow in surprise. "I haven't?"
Ahsoka smiled. "She's not capable of it. There's too much good in her."
Ursa smiled back. "I wonder where she gets that from."
Ahsoka snorted. "From you, Ursa. And Alrich."
"You don't know us that well," Ursa pointed out.
"I know Sabine," Ahsoka replied. "And I see the best of you within her."
Ursa was silent in the moment after Ahsoka's comment. "You'll do it, then?" she asked, her voice rough. "You'll keep her away?"
Ahsoka sighed. "Yes. I will. I promise. I'll leave your involvement out of it, as well."
Ursa cocked her head at Ahsoka. "You don't have to do that. She'll be furious with you."
Ahsoka shrugged. "I can handle it. I'm no stranger to anger."
Ursa nodded. "I can see that," she acknowledged. "And . . . thank you."
"You're welcome," replied Ahsoka. "And this isn't a good-bye. Nothing is certain. You can still survive this."
"I will try," Ursa promised. "Unlike you Jedi, that is all we can do." She paused again, hesitant.
"Something else?" Ahsoka offered.
"You'll stay by her side? Continue her training?" asked Ursa.
"Of course," said Ahsoka.
Relief eased into Ursa' rigid stance. "Good. She has a promise to keep, after all. Between you and the Bridger boy, once you find him, I think she'll be alright."
Ahsoka quirked an eyebrow. "You like Ezra, don't you?"
Ursa frowned. "Don't be ridiculous. Sabine likes him. I tolerate him, on her behalf."
"You approve of their . . . relationship?" asked Ahsoka carefully. She wondered how much Ursa had intuited about Sabine's feelings for her lost friend.
Ursa shrugged. "A Jedi and a Mandalorian are a unique pairing. Never heard of one before. The songs that will be sung for them are sure to be legendary."
She glanced at Ahsoka with a knowing look. "Bridger cares deeply for my Sabine. He has already sacrificed much to protect her and the people he cares for. And he is an excellent warrior, courtesy of his Jedi training. I can ask for nothing more in a life partner for my daughter."
"Yes," Ahsoka murmured. "I'm sure." She does know.
Privately, Ahsoka found it amusing that many people around Sabine seemed to know about her and Ezra before she did.
Ursa turned to the side, listening to someone speak from off-screen. She nodded and turned to face Ahsoka once more, her expression grim.
"Time to go?" asked Ahsoka.
"It is," Ursa responded somberly. "If the worst comes to pass, please tell Sabine that . . . I'm sorry. I don't regret the decisions I made to protect her, but I regret the cost that came with them. I was grateful that she came back and the time we spent together since then. And that I'm proud of her and all she has accomplished. And, also, that I . . . "
Ursa stopped there, uncertain of what to say next. Ahsoka said, "She knows, Ursa. Everything you've said, everything you're going to say - Sabine knows already."
The Mandalorian nodded. "This is hard," she observed.
"What is?" asked Ahsoka.
"Letting go," replied Ursa. "I don't know how you Jedi do it."
"It's never easy," said Ahsoka quietly. "Some never really master it."
"I see," said Ursa. "I wonder if I would have made a good Jedi, then."
"If you survive this," Ahsoka joked, "come see me for training."
Ursa grinned at her. "I don't know if you could handle both myself and Sabine as apprentices, Master Jedi."
And she ended the call on that note. Ahsoka stared at the space where Ursa's hologram had been for a few seconds and then bowed her head, feeling the weight of what was to come already pressing down on her.
Huyang, turning to look at her, asked, "Should I wake Lady Wren?"
Ahsoka turned in her chair to face towards the door that led to her padawan's room on the shuttle. Inside, Sabine was sleeping soundly.
Ahsoka thought for a moment. "No," she decided. "Let her have one more good night's sleep."
Tomorrow, Ahsoka thought, she might wake to a nightmare.

Imagine Obi-Wan Kenobi’s complex journey…to the dark side.
Warnings: drama, angst, violence, inappropriate/adult language—explicit smut and fluff as usual.
Warnings 2: *long* post.
Recommendations: “Lavender Haze” by Taylor Swift; “Yellow Flicker Beat” by Lorde.
No minors.
***
Preface
“When there is too much light”, you tell him, “one might lose the sight for it.”
“But when there is too much dark”, so the red haired male muses, “the fate seems to be all the same”.
You tilt your head.
“The whole point is that every excess leads to suffering. Those who claim to possess the true core of goodness are blinded by their vanity, although those who are plunged by darkness is similarly lost.”
“Then what should I do?”, you detect a hint of misery in his voice.
“I am not the wisest of beings, Obi”, you smile candidly. “You’re not on your own. You should not pick up the broken petals and try to glue them to what they used to form. No. The damage is done, but it can be mended and transformed in something better.”
There is so much to be said, but, to your disappointment, words die in his thoughts. His eyes divert away and the magic is gone.
“Obi?”, now he detects despair in your voice.
The Jedi looks back at you. His blue eyes little by little lose the spark that once colored such tempest irises.
An eclipse rises.
“I must depart”, it’s all he mutters. “Unfortunately I cannot stay, Senator Y/N.”
You don’t have to say goodbye. Obi-Wan is gone with the wind.

• Part I: The Creed.
“You look too sad, Master”, Anakin tells him concerned. “This sadness of yours has remained there in your eyes longer than I’d thought it would take. I must say I am concerned.”
“This is exhaustion to you, Anakin”, Obi-Wan remarks. “I’ve been working per usual, that is all.”
“You have been burying yourself in work since that incident with the Duchess has…”
“It was not an incident!”, Obi-Wan snaps at Anakin, who stares at his Master in bewilderment. He sighs before softening: “I just…appreciate your concern over me, Anakin. It’s going to be fine. But there are moments when I wonder where this will end. Frankly, it frustrates me that two years later Maul isn’t entirely wiped out of the galaxy.”
“He’s not like any other we faced, Master. That creature is a Sith Lord, therefore we ought to be very careful when dealing with the man”, Anakin smiles quietly, eyes filled with comprehension. “But be mindful that grief should not overcome you, after all…”
“Fear leads to anger that leads to hate that leads to suffering”, so Obi-Wan completes. “I shall not forget that. It pleases me to see you learned that well, Anakin. I forget at times how good you can actually be.”
Anakin rolls his eyes, about to say something in return when the thread is interrupted by Master Windu, who requests Obi-Wan’s presence for a mission to planet Y/C.
“It’s farther than we had formerly judged”, the said Master tells Obi-Wan. “But we understand this is an important mission in order to prevent this region to fall to the Separatists. Apparently Count Dooku has sent a spy to convert Lady Y/N to his side. You must not fail, Obi-Wan.”
“I’m sure everything will be conducted most appropriately”, assures the other male.
By then the two part in friendly terms. But Anakin, the witness of the moment, is suddenly plagued with a strange feeling. However, he has not time to uncover it or even share with his Master, for Obi-Wan doesn’t want to waste anymore of his time in Coruscant, a planet he’s grown to dislike.
***
When he meets you after a long time spent journeying to your planet, Obi-Wan is dressing somber shades of red, opting for a dark cape that falls over his shoulders. But the growing shadow within is momentarily eclipsed by your glowing beauty.
Your long and wavy y/c hair is tied in a single braid; your face is painted in delicate colors that seem to bring your beauty in a most natural way; your light red gown reinforces your curves and after two years, Obi-Wan finds himself desiring a woman again.
His eyes linger at the swell of your breasts and for one moment, his mind takes him to a dark spot, where he allows to imagine taking each breast with his tongue—hungry for affection, wishing to be provided with what he hopes to find a sweet lullaby coming out of your lips, singing out his name—; but the moment you clear your throat, he sweeps away such pictured scene, burying it deep—mostly because he doesn’t want to have a boner right now.
“Master Kenobi”, you greet him with a sweet voice, eyeing him with a mix of curiosity and awe. He knows by the careful glance you give him that you find him handsome. Apparently, the attraction is mutual. “Thank you for getting to us. Welcome to our planet. I pray the journey has not been too hard on you.”
As you lead him to a seat next to the window, from where he can see the landscape outside, Obi-Wan smiles at you when answering:
“It has not, thank you for asking, my lady. I do hope, though, that your ladyship may forgive me for the delay in our mission. I had other matters to attend.”
“There is nothing to be forgiven for, Master Kenobi”, you smile again and Obi-Wan hates how the light that comes from you makes him feel like a teenager in his hormone days. “Before we begin to discuss our points, allow me to serve you some tea. Do tell your favourite.”
This is how it begins.
*
Lord forbid, but as each day goes by, you find yourself desiring to hear more of the serious and meticulous Master Jedi. His redhair and his blue eyes are difficult not to draw your eyes, but his muscles—perfectly well hidden under such robes—leave so much to your imagination.
Often seen by others as cold, unreachable woman, always avoiding relationships of any nature, it seems this man has managed to make you go to your knees—though you’d gladly turn this metaphor into literal.
You’ve heard the other day a lady in waiting describing to another exactly how she went to her knees to please her husband—a way the said lady in question found out from a maid of her trust—and how deliciously it was to feel his manhood pumping into her mouth. As you enter into the salon, your eyes scam after him, with that scene in the back of your mind.
What would be like to please him? To make this sacred Jedi feel profane, mundane things? It’s when your own conscience admonishes for such thinking. You are a governor, a member of the Senate who vowed never to marry or get yourself involved romantically—specially after one particular man, Senator H/N, broke your heart.
“Ah, Master Kenobi! There you are!”, you greet him with glee. “I must admit I am worried about how the Senate will respond to our request. I do wish to remain neutral in this war.”
Obi-Wan comes to perceive that he’s been growing intolerant to his impatience with this unending war. Or perhaps he’s mistaking it with frustration? The man cannot tell and he has no intention in letting obvious his discontent.
“I wouldn’t worry about it, Senator Y/LN”, and so suddenly your desire for peace reminds him of…
“Are you well, Master Kenobi?” You ask him gently, concerned about the shadows that so suddenly take grip of his reasoning. “Come, let us go outside. A stroll around the gardens might suit you.”
“No, I appreciate your concern, but…”
You surprise him by being an effective adversary.
“I don’t take no as answer, good man. I know distress when I see one.”
“And here I thought I was hiding well”, Obi-Wan muses sarcastically.
“Oh, didn’t you?”
How you snap back at him earns the Jedi some smile. And you are pleased your effort is finally coming to something.
*
“Is it weird to live by peace in a world plunged by extremisms?” You think out loud as you two share a stroll in a quiet, content pace around many green walls.
Obi-Wan, who’s been studying you more often than he’d sensibly admit, side eyes you and discreetly responds:
“I don’t think so. When disease begins to make sense, reason starts to find illogical healthy musings. We’ve been too sick to realize that peace could’ve been reached by a simple dialogue with some compromising”.
“Why do we expect better attitudes from others when we ourselves lack them?”, you sigh. “I suppose it’s because our enemies reflect our darkest fears.”
Obi-Wan’s eyebrows furrow at the thought. Seeing a good point you make, he finds himself uncomfortable for the first time in a long time.
We make demands of others. We fight for others. We expect better of others when we are not better than them.
Has the good cause been corrupted? Suddenly, Obi-Wan’s conviction starts to be shaken by his own beliefs.
“I’m sorry. I was meant to bring you some solace, not providing you this uneasiness”, you apologize by reading the Jedi’s awkward steps.
When finding your y/c eyes, Obi-Wan’s first instinct is to flee. You too get this sensation and perhaps you let it show more than you’d know. But he resists it.
You are not Satine. I cannot expect you to be like her. But you bring me to a different light… and I fear where this path will lead me.
“Don’t apologize”, though his arms remain folded, his features are now softened. “I’ve been under stress for two years in a roll. You deserve better, my lady, and I haven’t been a most proper guess, have I?”
You chuckle softly and the sound that comes with it makes any burden his heart’s been carrying loose…
“I understand more than you know, Master Kenobi. I fear to say I tend to overthink about what surrounds me”, you smile at him, your eyes not ready to let go of the gaze that captured them. “It’s a hopeless world we live in and yet I think it’s my duty to bring some joy to it.”
“And how’d you do that?”, he inquires, too intrigued by your web not to play with it.
“By living to a personal creed”, you give the Jedi a mysterious smile. “Live righteously through every beating of your heart. Do so by providing others some cheerfulness.”
That being said, you actually succeed to distract the very grave Jedi close to a fountain and with one small push, get him into it.
Soon, the silence is broken by a sound of cheerful laughters and for the very first time Obi-Wan joins them, not burdened, but free of it.
***
Part II: Duty Is The Death of Love.
Obi-Wan is requested to go back to Coruscant once the situation in your planet is partially resolved. But there is reluctance on his part going and you fear for his departure too.
By then, an unspoken attachment had developed between you two—but neither felt the urge to make it obvious, in other words: to make the first step.
“You are too quiet, dear Y/N”, Obi-Wan remarks, his eyes never letting go of your sight for a moment.
This evening you are having dinner. A private one, very personal and intimate in many shades—but the Jedi realizes you’ve been far from his grasp. It so appears to him that your brightness has been stolen away.
“Am I?”, you raise your eyes to meet those sparkling blue ones that have been searching for yours. You blush lightly as a result. “I’ve always been quiet, Obi.”
“This is hardly the truth”, he smiles. “You’ve been always the one to speak, my dear. Please, tell me what’s been troubling you.”
Your pride advises you not to tell him how you feel. Obi-Wan sees through you the struggle, but these are trying days. What’s there to lose if you speak your mind?
“I will miss you”, it’s all you can say.
He reaches for your hand, gently lacing fingers. Never before duty felt so strained, so… suffocating.
“I’m not really leaving. You know that.”
You don’t realize a puddle of tears is forming in your eyes before you say:
“You’ve always shone brighter than anyone I’ve known. I shall not eclipse that.”
Obi-Wan quickly leaves his seat to console you. On his knees before you, he takes each hand and presses there a kiss.
“Dear love”, he rushes to say. “You are a poetry to my soul. I’ve been numbed for a long time and thought myself dead inside until you brought me back to life. How can you say I shine bright when you are the sun who feeds me light to do so? No. I’m nothing if not a moon in need of your light.”
When did the desperation rise so eminently? You don’t know, neither does he. But all so suddenly, your lips are collided against his and Obi-Wan is rising you from your seat to pull yourself into him.
Your hands are now playing with his hair all the whilst his own are gripping tight your waist. His kisses are urgent and fervent, warming you in every possible way.
His lips are now going to your neck and you throw your head back, feeling exposed under his gaze. Indeed, had you had the ability to read mind, you’d find nothing but indecent thoughts there.
Hungry for your affection, his lust draws unspeakable ideas to you. His lips enjoy your soft skin and his eager hands are already unlacing your gown. On your turn, the tingles that his beard make on you are enough to make you sigh.
You promptly rest your hands over his shoulders in an attempt to find balance. As you do, you pursuit his lips once more as your hands begin to work in his fabric.
“Obi..”, you heavily sigh as you now kiss his jawline and move to his neck, gently biting his skin.
“Yes, dear Y/Nickname?”, he groans lightly as you have control over him.
You don’t know what you are doing, but you do. Moved by a strange house instinct, your hands toss his fabric away, going down to his manhood, all the whilst you pepper his neck and shoulders with a loving kiss.
“You are mine”, you whisper against his skin, as your delicate fingers find what they are looking for. “Aren’t you?”
You raise your eyes and Obi-Wan finds mischief in them, much to his arousal, specially when you start holding his manhood very gently.
“I am, yes”, he sighs heavily. “Maker knows I belong with you entirely, dear one.”
His words are like charm, evoking your sudden confidence. Suddenly, you flip positions, starting to get the best of him. Your eyes are glued on his heavy breathing and when he thinks he’s about to come undone…
You take him all.
Using your red lips.
*
But he is not a man to be easily subdued—he is the one who subdues, and here you are submitted at his will.
Obi-Wan knows you well and he enjoys driving you crazy by doing all he wants to do with you slowly.
“Beg, dear one”, he smirks at you, his fingers gently stroking your feminine core, not yet slipping them inside you. “This is what you want to do…”
You hiss under your breath, eyes already painted with desperation. But your pride is simply useless before the strength, the physique, the beauty and perfection that stand right before you.
“Please”, you whimper, much to his delight.
And he does so. His lips looking for yours, he takes no more of your time before pleasing you the way you deserve.
“I love you”, you sing your feelings out, followed by another whimper.
“I love you too”, he kisses you hungrily, enjoying the effect he has on you.
There is nothing but the alluring dark to light the way, and no sense of goodbye is perceived when one body collides with the other. Never before Obi-Wan felt so alive. A sensation that he does not want to let go of.
Towards the end of the night, when you two are bathed by salt, you turn at him and say:
“You should stay.”
Obi-Wan sighs. It feels as if he’s living that night again… when it was whispered that the duty was the death of love. When looking back at your y/c eyes, the good there is in them, a voice in the back of his mind says again: must you repeat old mistakes?
Must you?
However, for now the Jedi does not wish to dwell in such thinking. Internal riots are briefly quieted. He turns at you and peppers your face with kisses before cuddling you in his arms.
“Let us enjoy the today, my dove. It’s all I ask for.”
A response that does not content you, but would have to suffice now.
*
When you wake up the next day, he is gone. The warmth in his side of bed is replaced by a cold, a void of goodness you feel so abruptly deprived of.
It hurts, it aches too much the sound of heartbreaking. You should know that what was going to happen.
But the images of both of you speaking of the past as if the future would be one with the other roll in the back of your mind. Is there anything you could do?
No.
But that day you weep as sacred moments are remembered too well by your soul, broken like a secret you kept, an oath that now sounds meaningless.
And here your pain becomes a growing angst that paints your heart blue, all alone trying to find how to deal with all the intensity that crushed you like a tide that took you far from the shore, letting you drown by a heavy wave.
A knock on the door, however, disrupts you from your thought. You barely notice the tears rolling down in your cheeks until you taste the salt these come to your mouth. And now you must regain your composure.
Oh you must.
“Duty awaits”, you think out loud before granting the permission for the door to open and soon coming inside your bedchambers.
A moment so sacred is now profaned. As it should be.
***
Part III: Midnight.
“Have you heard the tale of Darth Plagueis, the Wise?”, the chancellor asks him.
Obi-Wan is wearing his usual suits this evening for an encounter with the man behind the Senate, the one whom the Jedis asked him to spy for. Palpatine is the said man’s name and although his behavior is rather…unique for a man of his position, it comes at being too odd to spy him.
“I believe I am rather familiar with it, yes”, replies the red headed Jedi, stroking his beard, as he casts his cold blue eyes towards the other one. “Why’d you ask, Chancellor?”
Giving Obi-Wan a smirk, Palpatine carefully shrugs.
“This is a tale often misconstructed by the Jedis.” He pauses carefully, waiting for some reaction coming from Obi-Wan. Once it did not, he continues. “Duty not always must be the death of love, Obi-Wan. Once upon a time, love was the main weapon of the Jedis. Now it appears to have been poisoned by the ambitions of such an Order.”
Silence hangs in between the two men, heavy like grey clouds announcing an upcoming storm.
“What you suggest is treason”, whispers Obi-Wan, avoiding the male’s gaze. “The Jedis have been the keepers of peace in Galaxy for centuries.”
“The endings often bear good intentions”, remarks Palpatine. “How about the means, though? The means justify the endings, and you cannot look away the pride and arrogance that have flickered the Order.”
No answer. Slowly, like a snake spotting a prey, Palpatine surrounds Obi-Wan.
“My dear, your duty has been rewarded with nothing but disdain. Your name has once been shouted by your fellow Jedis, but now it’s been whispered like a poison. Is this what you’ve become, Obi-Wan? A name, a number…a mere saber?”
“I don’t need recognition”, Obi-Wan retorts, but even he can feel the emptiness of his belief.
What has changed?
“Oh, but we do. We do. What are we without the applauses of those we love? Not beasts to be served to other’s purposes”, Palpatine smiles. “You have doubled your powers, Obi-Wan. But your path of blood… when will it end? They say fear leads to anger and anger leads to suffering. But has duty emptied your sentiments? Blind devotion also leads to suffering, Obi-Wan Kenobi.”
A sweet melody is sang. To see it’s effect, however, Palpatine slowly removes himself from the scene. The prey is at long last trapped by the snake’s trap.
Obi-Wan knows it. He feels it. The tentacles of darkness tempt him, seducing him like the sweet embrace of a lover.
Indeed, the list of dissatisfaction is too long to ignore. The anguish within never ceases to torment him. The temptation is too great to bear.
Nonetheless, it’s close to midnight when the Jedi leaves everything aside to look for you. Perhaps you have every answer for him; perhaps you might be the savior he needs.
*
You are located at your lavender garden, even though it’s past midnight. Chaos surrounds you, war destroys everything you know. You grew strangely comforted by it. You learned to play coy, to be the player you planet needed. Neutrality was merely a disguise. But politics was never a clean game in the first place.
Two nights ago, you’d met him. You thought you’d lost him again, but the silent steps caught you out of your guard.
“I knew I’d find you here, Y/Nickname”, his husky voice brings out a smile of your lips. “A lavender field is most proper to your ladyship.”
You raise your eyes, not surprised for seeing Obi-Wan Kenobi dressing a dark robe, a somber shade of red in his suit, standing powerful before you.
“I do not wish to forget the lavender haze creeping upon me.” You tilt your head, pleased to find a secret smirk twisting in the corner of his lips. “What are you here for, my dear? End this the way it should be.”
“It pains me to hear this is your conclusion”, he muses somberly.
You promptly stand and move to where he stands. Very gently, you remove his hood and run your hands over his short red locks, before cupping his face and tiptoeing to rest your forehead against his.
“I wouldn’t take you as a man who understands everything literally”, you make a small jest, pleased to make him chuckle.
“Darkness is so much more alluring than I’d ever consider it to be”, he whispers. “I’ve tripled my powers since I left you. I shall not lose you, my dear Y/N. The Jedis and the Sith…both took everything I’ve loved.”
He sobs and seems to fall on his knees, but you hold him, able to prevent him to lose his strength. But because he’s heavier than you’d able to carry him, you manage to lead him back to your lavender garden.
“This doesn’t have to be the way”, you tell him. “There is more in the world than Jedis and Siths, Obi.”
As he glances to you, you spot a swift change in the color of his irises, spot an unending suffering in the dark waters of his soul.
“I hate them”, he whispers, and the sound is like that of a whip. “I hate them all.”
“Let us run away then”, you speak gently, caressing his hair. “Those who step in our way shall be destroyed. Simply as that.”
Obi-Wan chews your solution for a moment. It’s reasonable and makes sense. When admiring your beauty and the gentleness that comes from your good heart, he takes your suggestion.
But then… a question rises.
What if there is no more Jedi nor Sith?

So you know those fics where, when Anakin doesn't fall and Padme doesn't die, they end up on Tatooine with the kids, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka? Usually as like "canon but a few steps to the left" of O66? And there's a whole Hubbub about how Padme's not used to Living Poor, missing so much of her support system, etc.
I want to see that premise played out where the 'ship' that ends up on Tatooine is Obitine. But the plot keeps getting subverted because the year on the run and living on Manda'yaim mean that Satine is actually fully ready for living in hiding on a desert planet (while she bides her time to figure out how to recover her planet and people from the Empire).
Necessary disclaimer: this is not a values judgement of Padme. It's a variation on a common plot format that I think would be funny, because the Lars are definitely expecting this fancy lady to be mostly useless.
(I guess this is kind of a mix of the Anidala-on-Tatooine and CodyWan-on-Tatooine fics. But. Meh.)
God I love deceptively lovely Satine.
She's so pretty and refined and pretentious and then it's like. Oh. Oh.
She's lived through hell, and also probably 60% of her job is negotiating agricultural reforms that'll allow her people to survive the sandy wasteland that is Manda'yaim.
And like… Obi-Wan… having a girlfriend on Tatooine… mayhaps finally getting married… 🥺 🥺 🥺
He's never needed marriage and he's still a little torn on the subject because he's all that's left of the Jedi but
Satine has always put Mandalore first. Obi-Wan has always put the Force first. Hidden away like this, unable to enact their usual duties but still holding those priorities… would marriage change anything but their reputations and the tan line of their ring finger?
Maybe. But probably not.

I have one Rebels AU idea where it's basically just Heroes of Mandalore goes differently and Ezra winds up riding the Mythosaur. Because I saw that scene in Mando and immediately remembered that Ezra's good at connecting to animals.
I don't know, maybe a combination of Sabine deleted all the data on the Duchess in this universe + Thrawn seeing Mandalore as a perfect way to trap some Rebels.
Alrich got moved like two weeks before the prison raid, he's being held in Sundari for a big spectacle of an execution. Tiber's got a whole parade planned, maybe a festival if the damn bangcorn vendor gets over their beef with the uj cake salesman.
Anyway, the main conflict of this alternate arc is they have to sneak into Sundari to free Alrich before he gets executed. The team gets led through a series of caves by Bo-Katan's weird nephew and his weird friends, who apparently use these tunnels to smuggle Force-sensitive children to safety.
They camp at the cavern with the Living Waters to plan their next moves, and that's when some Imperial Supercommandos show up. Thrawn had figured out the rebels would be using the mines by intensive study of Lady Bo-Katan's previous assaults on Sundari and local geography.
It's a fearsome battle, and just when the rebels think they might get the upper hand several squads of stormtroopers show up. They're losing ground and being forced to the shore of the Lake of the Living Waters. It honestly seems like they're about to die there, especially since the troopers won't stop coming. It's utterly hopeless.
Until Ezra senses a presence.
It's old and powerful in a way he's never really felt before. It's not as old as the Bendu, and a thousand times more...feral. It's huge and hungry and even though it isn't sentient Ezra can almost feel it reach back through the Force and scrutinize him.
Ursa and Bo-Katan are both about to yell at the jetii boy to stop standing around and get back to killing Imps when the ground starts to shake. In the center of the lake water rushes as something emerges from the depths. Something large.
The mythosaur roars as it lunges with deceptive speed, and an entire squad of stormtroopers disappears down its gullet. This repeats until all the Imperials are dead. With its hunger sated the mythosaur descends back down into the depths, though not before giving Ezra an affectionate lick.
Everyone is just sort of in a state of shock for the rest of the mission except for Ezra, who has no idea what a mythosaur is or that he just became the hero of prophecy for like three Mandalorian religions. No, he's more flustered about how he utterly embarrassed himself in front of Sabine's father.
They almost get cornered again by Imperial troops while leaving. That's when Ezra summons the mythosaur again and winds up riding it to victory, which is. A lot. Apparently, the mythosaur likes killing for the Jedi boy.
It isn't until later, when they're all having a victory feast that someone explains it to him. Ezra doesn't want to be a Mandalorian and he certainly doesn't want to be a Mandalorian prophecy boy, thank you very much. Kanan's trying to figure out how to tell Hera the latest news without sounding insane. Sabine's trying not drown herself in the cask of ne'tra gal after her mother took her aside and told her to "marry that boy", which lends itself to the hilarious realization that apparently Ursa just thought Sabine and Ezra were dating this whole time.

"She has lost the will to live
That's what you came up with? That's stupid. How could I die from loosing the will to live?" Padme asked.
she was still weak from the drugs they used to fake her death. She didn't have the strength to stand yet, but she was sitting up now.
'I'm sorry my Lady." The droid said. "There was little time to prepare. But I must ask: why did you not want the Jedi know you survived? Why did you allow them to take your children away?"
Tears welled up in her eyes. She wiped them away. Despite the drugs affecting her, she stood, shaky yes, but she did stand.
"i love my children. I don't even know them yet, but I love them. Luke and Leia. I hope one day to be able to tell them that in person. But I also love Anakin. What the chancellor-- no, the Emperor, has done sickens me. He turned my husband into that thing that calls itself Vader. But there is still good in him. I will bring my husband back to me.
"But as long as the Emperor knows me and my children survive, we will all be a target. The entire empire would come after us. We need to disappear. Obi-Wan will watch over my children. Of that I'm sure. But I know him. if he knew I was alive, he would leave me stranded on some planet while he went off to find Anakin. I am not going to sit around. I will find a way to save Anakin from himself.
***Someone else continue this please and thank you***

Hello wifey, I got these for the unpopular opinion ask: 💖💕🏳️‍🌈
Hi baby! 🥰💙💚 I shall happily answer these asks for you!
Link to original ask game below if y’all wanna play along and if you reblog I’ll be snooping 👀
💖- what is your biggest unpopular opinion about the series?
So I’m just gonna say this about all of Star Wars in general specifically the newer stuff that’s been coming out lately as well as the future projects they’ve announced to us (minus the Tales of the Empire I’m genuinely excited for that because BARRISS 💙) but in my OPINION they’re focusing on all the wrong characters and spending too much time and money into mediocre storylines when there’s so much more they can be doing. Like the Ahsoka wasn’t really about Ahsoka herself and where they decided to take that show was very strange and weak. Andor head was boring as hell to me and there wasn’t much pay off in there for any of the characters. Bad Batch is only good when the episode isn’t about the Bad Batch themselves but about another character people actually like (I.e Ventress, Rex, etc.). Mando went off the rails in its third season because in my opinion Mando and Grogu’s story ended beautifully with that badass Luke Skywalker finale.
Now before everyone get all butthurt and all up in their feelings, remember that 1.) this is my own unpopular opinion I’m allowed to have and 2.) yes I’m aware I can pick and choose what to watch and not to watch and that if I don’t like a show I won’t watch it. What I’m saying is that the stories and characters I want to see more of don’t get produced which is why I’m so pumped for Tales of the Empire because we finally get a Barriss Offee story which has been left on read for the last decade and why I enjoyed Tales of the Jedi so much because we got more Dooku content and more good Ahsoka content.
Tumblr media
💕- What is an unpopular ship that you like?
Kenduli/Obinara (Luminara Unduli x Obi-Wan Kenobi) all day everyday and I will stan them until the day I die (sorry Satine fans no offense). Anyone who has read The Approaching Storm and paid attention to their interactions in Clone Wars could see these two have chemistry and are an absolute delight together. To me their relationship would have all the class of a pairing like Morticia and Gomez Addams from the Addams family with the sexiness of a James Bond and a Bond girl. Honestly what’s not to like? And no this is not an open invitation to bash them because this is MY unpopular opinion remember 😉 Read any of my fanfic and you’ll warm up to them I assure you!
Tumblr media
🏳️‍🌈- which character who is commonly headcanoned as queer doesn’t seem queer to you?
Obi-Wan Kenobi. And yea I’m aware that the recent Padawan book implied he may be bisexual but I’m sorry Obi-Wan has always come off to me as a total ladies man in both the shows/movies and in books. Like the women go nuts for him (I.e. Ventress, Satine, etc) and there are always women speaking to him when he’s just walking about in the Temple (I.e Luminara, Aayla) like who wouldn’t be into the mister “Hello There” man and I’m saying this as a GAY woman who feels she has a pretty good gaydar and I’m not getting anything from Obi-Wan sorry not sorry. He may be bisexual but at the end of the day, I feel he prefers the ladies.

Ahsoka: A Return to Star Wars
Ahsoka Tano is my favorite Star Wars character, she’s Filoni’s best addition to the Star Wars cast, and as she is his baby, she's mine too. I was worried for how the new show would treat her, but having seen The Clone Wars movie, tv show, and Rebels, I trusted Dave Filoni. It was rightly placed trust. Watching this show, for me, felt like watching the prequels again. The lightsaber fights we’re fast paced, the characters held an air of mystery, and Thrawn was perfect.
Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati are the most interesting new characters since Lady Tano herself. Introduced with little dialogue, Baylan makes it clear they are neither Jedi nor Sith. He refers to them as something more when speaking with Shin, saying “You, I trained to be more”. Baylan, once on Peridea, loses interest in the Jedi and thrown, revealing to his apprentice that he searched for something greater than what Thrawn and the Great Mothers could offer.
He gives Shin a choice near the end of the show, to turn Sabine and Ezra over to Thrawn, take her place in the coming war, with a silent offer to stay written between the lines. Shin, of course, less trained and less trusting in the force and her master, chooses to join Thrawn. A fight ensues between her, some night troopers, and our Jedi Padawans.
Which brings me to Sabine and Ezra. Neither had been my favorites in Rebels, I had attached to Ahsoka, Chopper, and Hera. In this new show, I love these characters. Sabine, struggles with trust, the force, her feelings towards Ezra, and finding her footing with Ahsoka. She slowly does and by the end uses the force through trust. Erza, in my opinion, was hard headed, and slightly annoying in Rebels, but in Ahsoka he’s funny, light-hearted, wiser, and much more like Kanan than I was expecting. His interactions with Huyang were wholesome, and the twin emitter to Kanan’s was a good touch.
Hera, Chopper and Jacen. My little Syndulla family hold the number two spot in my heart. Hera was snappy, strong-willed, open, and a great mother. Jacen was Adorable, and alot like his father, I would love to get to know the force sensitive, half twi-lek more. And as always Chopper was the greatest little criminal, snappy, and funny.
Now, moving to the namesake of the show, Ahsoka. When she was introduced, she was an annoying, stuck-up, fourteen year old. She wasn’t liked much by the fandom, but Dave Filoni, as always, had a plan and slowly, with the audience, Ahsoka would mature, she gets two lightsabers, listens to Anakin more, faces hardship, and eventually left the Jedi order. As she grew after Order 66, Ahsoka became clouded and unbalanced. We watch her grow more fearful and secluded as she ages, even as she aids the rebellion, and it all comes to a head in Ahsoka.
Ahsoka fights Baylan and Shin much like Anakin fought Obi-wan, pushing forward attacking, even force-chocking and throwing Shin. Ultimately, as it had been Anakin’s, Ahsoka’s brute force is her downfall (literally). She loses the fight, and is knocked off the cliffside by Skoll, into the water. In the water, Ahsoka is pulled into the World Between Worlds where she finds Anakin, there to teach her one last lesson, live or die. Then, Hayden Christen, Anakin Skywalker himself fights his apprentice for the 3rd time.
This fight was beautifully choreographed, and executed, it was quick, fierce, charged, and all around an amazing duel between master and padawan, as is the Star Wars tradition. Just this was incredible, and I wasn’t ready when we went to the unknown regions for the first time in canon history.
Peridea was the last thing I expected, and even though we’d left our main Star Wars galaxy, everything was still so Star Wars. The Great Mothers, The Chimera, The Night Troopers, Morgan becoming a magical nightsister. I was blown away, yet everything gave me the same feeling as the 1977 classics, and the 2000’s prequels. This is how Star Wars is supposed to feel in my mind, and Ahsoka did it perfectly.
All I can hope for now is two separate stories, Dave Filoni’s, Heir to The Empire movie to be about our regular Galaxy with Hera, Ezra, The Mandalorians, and Luke. Then a different story, on Peridea with Ahsoka, Sabine, Shin, and Baylan, in Ahsoka season 2. That would be the perfect way to continue this amazing love letter to Star Wars and the Star Wars fans.
