For me, after my training (which is taekwondo) or school i play genshin then rant about my day while playing.

Usually, after training, i complain about my legs hurting or what i ate after the training. And after school, i Usually talk about my classmates. Like, for example, how one of my classmate kept bothering me to go with her and was being clingy and how it made me uncomfortable and stuff.

Those with similar interests to you would be paying extra attention. They love to listen to what you have to say.

They just have to be careful to not tip you off that they can hear you.

Now I thought harder on this topic than I normally would-

Honestly I don't think that Morax would usually indulge in any of this as he would have better things to do... but after a somewhat thorough inspection, the only possible method (if we stick to the canon) that I think he would use is caging. But not just putting someone in a cage. Specifically, I think it would be in a very uncomfortable position, a cramped space or something like spikes or pointy objects to all the sides that could make a person go numb.

By uncomfortable positions I mean that something like bending down, crouching, standing up with no place to sit.. after a while, it's gonna make you want to move, but you really can't in a cramped space.

As for the "pointy objects", it could even be dull curves on the material you're bound by since again.. it'll just be uncomfortable.

I honestly think that Morax would try to make a person feel uncomfortable rather than in pain.

Now this sounds like a very simple tactic which may not be considered torture, but after some time it would create a huge impact on someone. And Morax has exactly that, time.

Now this is just something that my mind thought of, please take it lightly as I am by no means trying to talk bad about Morax/Zhongli. This is a head-canon
