I am Burmese myself so all of this is influenced mostly by my own experience and by family and friends around me :)

The Irrawaddy River scar is more of a birthmark I just forgot the word for it. My mom would constantly tell me that when she was little the Irrawaddy River was clear and full of little green and blue stones and the elders tell me that you could scoop a bunch of them in a jar and most of them would be turn out to be precious stones. That’s where the inspo for the eyes came from cuz in my mind, because of these stories (and the numerous amounts of jade and amber jewelry I get sent every year), Myanmar will always seem like a very rich land with a foundation of gold to me. If you were on hetalia deviantart in the early 2010s you probably know what the long hair with headband version is inspired by -w- the overall design tho is just the most common looking Burmese guy I know lol

I’ve always had kind of a takin the piss out of it relationship with my culture and with the coup and civil war goin on over there right now it is a little difficult to feel any pride about it, worrying over if my family is alright over there. I’ll be honest this started out as a little thing I thought would be kinda silly to do but I found in the process that it was kinda. Therapeutic? Soothing?? I dunno. Gathering all my experiences and knowledge into making one personification made me remember all the good experiences I had being Burmese and made me appreciate it more funnily enough :)

Y'all have got to be like... nicer??? About x reader and people using OC characters in fics. Like i understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea. And yes, a lot of people who write it need to learn not to put tags on it when it doesn't go in that tag. BUT. people still need to be less rude about it, and less shitty about it, just in general.

Because like, it's still writing. It's still people's work and like they put their heart into it. And also, since i see shit like that, I'm over here constantly writing things in my head, or in my notes, that i know are pretty good. Pretty cute and sweet reads. But I'm constantly like... scared to post them. Because i feel like no one will care. Or worse, someone will be shitty to me about it. And like, that's not cool.

Fandom is supposed to be a fun place to like do your weird shit and be like "hey look at my weird shit that i made with love for the thing we all love" and people are go "ooohh. Ahhhh. Love you're wreird shit congrats its so good!" But now we have people being weird (bad) to people just because they're writing reader insert stuff and oc stuff. And it's very annoying to me.

And not just because it's messing with me and my thoughts and feelings about my own stuff. But i know it's effecting how other people feel too. Idk. It just sucks that people are so rude about it when like... it's fanfiction too. It's just as much fanfic as ship fics are. And i get that people are 100% rude about some ships as well. But still.

It'd be nice if we could just fucking chill and let people do the things they enjoy without shit talking it so much that they start hating the things they enjoy. Especially when it's not fucking hurting anyone.

Big, scary, sharp-clawed monster daddy who carries his tired princess into the bathroom to do her insane skincare routine for her. He knows how much it matters to her mental health, so he carefully works his way through each step as she sits on the counter trying to stay awake.

He carefully spreads the cleansing balm across her cheeks, dribbles the serums from their tiny droppers, uses the dainty metal spatula to scoop out her night creams. Everything he does is done with such reverence and care it feels like worship.

And when he is finally done, she kisses each of his fingers and murmurs little thank yous while he takes her off to bed.
