I like to think that how Eddie moved into Richie's house was by pulling up to his door then Richie opens it and says "what are you doing here?" And Eddie's like "I'm moving in Bitch." And shoves his suitcases at Richie. I also like to think that the paparazzi court all of it on tape.

I saw some people be like "gweeehhhhhhh Steddie shippers built that whole ship in their minds, it's fanon only, they had no chemistry in the show, they barely had any connection at all "
And it's actually really funny, because I humor them and think, "hmm, was it all in my mind all along?" and rewatch S4.
Then I feel soooooo validated upon rewatching. It actually gets even better and more obvious every time I see it.

inspired by this anon ask given to @steddieas-shegoes because i'm ALWAYS down for lovestruck not-exactly-human-anymore eddie (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) it's not perfectly written to the prompt with the demon-ness and swaying around the kitchen but it was fun to write!!!
To become more, you must sacrifice that which holds you back.
The things that limit you.
The people.
Henry had become more. He left ashes behind his every footfall and, in turn, became the god that he is, the god he was always meant to be.
Humanity does not share this fate, he is sure. Eleven had proved that even those who have only potential will always bend to the confines of their limitations.
They must have the will to break free of the cage.
The ambition.
Henry walks along, his creatures making way for his path. They shiver and keep their distance, in awe of his control, his power. He almost smiles.
In front of him lies a body, void of life, of purpose.
Perhaps, he thinks as he raises a hand, perhaps he can give it purpose.
Perhaps those who have potential just need his aid to find the will for it.
It takes time, too much time, too much of humanity has tainted this one, but his new creature finally rises.
It stares up at him, loyal and keen. More readable than his other creatures, more cunning, more like him.
Yes, this realm's god has made it in his perfect image.
Stronger, faster, sharper. More powerful than what was, it is perfect.
And even more perfect as he hears the distant shrieks of his creatures. Someone is slaughtering them, attempting to destroy his vision.
Attempting to ruin the world's evolution.
He watches through the eyes of the lone survivor, flying high above the carnage, sees a young, grimy boy, swing a weapon into the neck of his beautiful creatures with a snarl on his face.
The violence of humanity disgusts him.
The boy drops the weapon, running towards another, a girl on the ground. She is weak and will die soon enough, he is sure.
"Robin, Robin, are you - shit, shit, shit, that's blood -"
"Steve, it hurts so fucking bad, I - I'm - oh my god, it hurts -"
"It's okay, c'mere, I got you, it's gonna be okay -"
"Go," he says to his creature, turning his nose when it tilts his head. Still too much humanity. Perhaps not as perfect as himself. "Find the boy. Steve. Ensure he does not get another chance to delay us."
His creature knows what he saw, had seen it with him. It bows its head and begins its flight to the other world.
"Soon," he says, staring up at the thundering skies with an almost-smile. "Soon, it will all burn. Ready...to be reborn."
Tumblr media
"No, no, stop, please -"
Steve laughs as Eddie blows raspberries into his neck, long and keen tail wrapped around his wrist.
Eddie sits on the counter, arms wrapped around Steve's neck as he pulls him further into the space between his legs, poking a cold nose into the skin where his neck meets his shoulder.
"Come on, you've proven your point," Steve tries squirming away but the tip of Eddie's tail just swoops in under his shirt to softly tickle his sides, where the bite wounds are still sensitive, and he can't stop the burst of laughter pealing out of him. "Eddie!"
"The demon lord requires more, a much greater sacrifice," Eddie says dramatically into Steve's neck, arms tightening around his neck. Eddie inhales and yells, "It's your pride!"
With a squeal, Steve muffles his laughs into Eddie's shoulders as Eddie tickles him even harder. "Okay, okay, I give, I give," Steve manages to say between his bouts of giggles. "I give, you win, oh Great Demon King."
"That's Mr. Great Demon King to you," Eddie sniffs as he loosens his grip on Steve and hops down the kitchen counter. Brushing off imaginary dust, because Steve and Robin keep this place clean as fuck (mostly Steve since Robin almost got her leg chewed off that one time, but she makes up for it by yelling directions at him), he turns around and pretends to walk away very slowly.
"C'mere," Steve grabs his hand and spins him around, leaning back against the counter with Eddie in his arms. The fake snooty expression on his face melts away when Steve curls a lock of hair behind his pointed ear, cupping Eddie's jawline gently. His thumb strokes his cheek, gliding over the stretched, scarred skin. "Hey."
Eddie's eyes, brown and red and like there's a whole world inside them, soften and he bumps their foreheads together as the purr in his chest starts up. "Hey yourself, handsome."
He's been really cold ever since he came back but he doesn't seem to care much. Steve cares a lot, maybe more than he needs to, and always tries to keep him as warm as possible with sweaters, blankets, whatever works. In this moment though, where Eddie's pressed against him, the kitchen lights making a golden light behind him like some kinda halo (the irony makes him grin), his horns like little upside down vampire teeth. Maybe there was something to the vampire theory, he thinks as he ruffles the curls at the back of Eddie's neck.
"Steve," Eddie sighs, his eyes closing as he smiles goofily, fangs poking into his bottom lip and wings fluttering.
"Yeah?" Steve smiles, pressing a gentle kiss to Eddie's cheek.
"Just wan'ed to say it." Eddie nuzzles into Steve's cheek with the mumble, sighing again when Steve wraps his arms around Eddie's waist, his tail winding up the sleeve of Steve's shirt. "Like sayin' yer name."
Something bubbles up in Steve's chest and he giggles to let it out, the warmth and sweet affection pouring out of him. "Yeah? I like saying yours too."
"Then say it," Eddie's head quickly shoots up and he stares at Steve, the tip of his tail flickering back-and-forth on Steve's forearm the way Tews' does whenever Dustin swings a toy in front of her face. His pupils are massive, way bigger than any human's should be, and it makes his eyes look even bigger. "C'mon, say it."
Steve hums, tilting his head one way, then the other, laughing when Eddie huffs and pouts at him. He leans in closer, pressing a kiss to his nose, and says softly, "Eddie."
The gust of wind that Eddie's wing-flapping causes is so strong it makes the entrance door slam against the wall and makes Steve jump, but he just laughs when Eddie's wings stretch up and around them both awkwardly in apology.
"Think it's time for dinner, angel," Steve whispers into the tiny space between them.
"Call me angel one more time," Eddie whispers back with a glint in his eye. "And I'll show you exactly how unholy I can be."
"Whatever you say," Steve grins and boops Eddie's nose. "Angel."
"That's it!" Eddie hunches down and lifts Steve over his shoulder, bouncing his way around the kitchen. "The Great Demon King has declared no dinner for defiant knights!"
Steve laughs and shoves at the wings crowding over his head, "What if I used true love's kiss to appeal to the judge?"
The bouncing pauses and Steve blinks when he finds himself right in front of Eddie again, his limbs bound by Eddie's tail and hands. Eddie squints at him and sniffs, the snooty expression snobbier than ever. "The Great Demon King rejects your offer and demands five true love's kiss in repentance."
Rolling his eyes, Steve pecks the corner of Eddie's mouth, grinning when the tip of his tail wags back-and-forth again. "Well, when you put it like that, how could I say no?"

The thing about Buddie is, that the show talks about romance (Bobby's advice to Buck about stepping into Abby's mess, Bobby and Athena getting together, Ravi mentioning someone to have your back, etc.) and then it's something Buck and Eddie are already doing. Or something they do a handful of episode later. And then the creators are all *surprised Pikachu* when we read them as romantic. I mean the way Oliver and Ryan look at each other and orbit around one another in character is not exactly helping. But even without it, it is all in the damn writing.
oh for sure! I always say that they are hiding nothing and I mean it. It's in the writing, it's in the acting and it's in all the paralells. They can do whatever they want from this point on tbh because everything they laid out for them prior is already deeper and more meaningful than anything they could ever give to some random love interest later on, if they decided to not take the canon buddie route.
all that being said, I am still strong on the opinion that they were gonna start giving nods to their relationship becoming canon at the end of season 6 and then the cancellation happened and they had to scramble to edit it in a way that would get them picked up or at least wrap things up in case they wouldn't (now to think of it the two might not even be that unrelated hmm)

A fic where Chrissy's little brother is the one who’s been vandalizing Eddie's missing posters and when he doesn’t see them around anymore, he decides to go to the trailer where his sister died and writes there on the door that Eddie Munson is a murderer.
Tumblr media
The door opens and a man comes from inside and he is NOT SCARED. He is going to be brave for Chrissy (he is going to be like Jason!) so he starts yelling mean things to this man who looks so sad, but he doesn’t say anything back and WHY does he look so sad? he has no right!!
Tumblr media
But the sad man, Mr Munson, listens to him and he lets him talk about Chrissy for a long time (he is not allowed to talk about Chrissy at home) and he can tell Mr Munson understands, and misses his nephew as much as he misses Chrissy.
The next day he goes to his trailer again, to clean what he wrote cause Mr Munson says Eddie would never hurt Chrissy and he is probably wrong, but... what if he isn’t?
He doesn’t want him to look so sad all the time so he keeps coming to visit him and Mr Munson lets him take a look at Eddie's stuff and keep anything he likes.
And he finds an old photo of some talent show from middle school, and there’s Eddie with his band (he was in a band? that’s kind of cool... but Corroded Coffin? what kind of name is that?)
He finds Chrissy in the photo too, in a cheerleader outfit. She’s smiling. Not like in the family photos at home, a very big and bright smile. Everyone looks really happy in the photo and he wants to keep it, but he decides Mr Munson deserves to have it, so he leaves it there.
He takes some tapes from Eddie's room instead, but comes the next day to return them cause his parents say THAT isn't music and they won’t let him listen to it, but Mr Munson tells him he can listen in his house so they listen to the loud music.
Tumblr media
And the little boy tells Wayne about school (he used to do great, but not anymore and his parents aren’t pleased and now that Chrissy is gone it's all about him and things aren’t good, but maybe they were never good and he’s just finding out now)
Tumblr media
Time passes and he gets into high school and on his first day at lunchtime he is sitting all alone cause since Chrissy died he doesn’t have many friends anymore. He doesn't even have a name, he’s just “the sad kid with the dead sister”
But he is approached by a senior called Dustin Henderson who invites him to the D&D club and he kinda knows a bit about that because he has read some of the books in Eddie's room so he decides to join them.
Tumblr media
And there’s an old photo there too and Eddie Munson is in it, and he realizes he doesn't believe Eddie killed his sister, he believes Mr Munson.
Tumblr media
And when they take a new photo at the club, Chrissy's Cunningham little brother remembers that old photo in the trailer... So he frames it and, on Christmas he gives it to Mr Munson and Wayne looks like he is about to cry, but not as sad as he usually does and Chrissy's brother is smiling, bright and wide, just like his sister in that photo, and she's still gone, but somehow she isn't, right?

pairing: eddie munson x fem!reader
warnings: smut, 18+ minors dni!!! unprotected p in v sex, swearing, drug/alcohol use/mentions, kinda sad/angsty in the beginning, lots of plot
summary: you and eddie are talking about your time in the upside down, and he distracts you with a swim in steve's pool and a warm shower after. eddie ended up alive despite the odds, but both of you are still dealing with the aftermath.
word count: 2.9k
notes: i really love this, and it's roughly based on swimming when i was young to take my mind off a lot of crappy stuff. it also had me thinking about eddie and how the upside down probably isn't any good for someone's psyche. there is a lot of plot before the smut so if you like slightly angsty fluff, this is for you. i'm also reposting this a second time bc i think the tags last time made the algorithm do a fucky wucky.
tag list: @depressedstressedlemonzest
do not copy, rewrite, translate or post my work online. that is stealing. i put a lot of time into my work, and i do not appreciate people taking credit for my work. thanks!

---
Ever since Steve had his first scuffle with the Upside Down, he wasn’t as much of a party person. If he was going to die, he wasn’t going to die doing some stupid shit starting with him saying, “hold my beer!” However, he still enjoyed a good kickback with his friends, if you could call it that. Your current friend group was the definition of chaos. You and Steve were joined by Robin, Nancy, and Eddie Munson. He was sort of adopted into the group after you were all traumatized in the Upside Down. When you do that kind of stuff, you’re kind of bonded for life. I mean, who else would believe you?
You had always found Eddie endearing, even before your experiences together. It seemed strange that despite everything you had heard about him and everything that happened to him growing up, he still didn’t give a damn what anyone thought about him. His style was less than conventional, but that made him all the more exciting. He was new and different compared to all of the others you grew up with in Hawkins.
Aside from the new dimension Eddie brought to your friend group, he also brought a handful of new experiences, and by a handful of experience, he definitely meant handfuls of weed. He wasn’t dealing nearly as much once his name was cleared since all eyes were on him, but that left him with a lot of excess that he couldn’t finish by himself. Which is how the two of you ended up high at Steve Harrington’s house, all of you stoned, shooting the shit until the early hours of the morning.
“No fucking way, Ed!” Steve laughed. “You could not take a Demogorgon by yourself. It took three of us!”
“Okay, but like… Consider, a flamethrower?” Eddie said. As much as you wanted to laugh, you could tell he was dead serious. You and Eddie had a higher tolerance, so you were both significantly less high than everyone else at the house. Robin was super giggly, and Nancy was absolutely destroying Eddie’s argument.
“Logistically speaking, yes,” Nancy said. “But you don’t even know how to use a flamethrower. You didn’t even believe me when I told you I had guns.”
“Ah yes,” Eddie sighed. “Nancy ‘Guns, Plural’ Wheeler.”
You all laughed this off, all of you getting a bit tired, especially the ones who were still pretty high. Steve ditched first, saying he was going to bed, then Nancy, then Robin, all going to their respective guest rooms for the night. Steve had a huge house, so Nancy and Robin were sharing a room, Steve was staying in his room, you were in the guest room, and Eddie was taking the couch. Generally, you guys rotated who got stuck with the couch, but it was ridiculously comfortable regardless. Eventually, you and Eddie were the only ones still awake, still not very tired. Both of you were still having trouble sleeping after defeating Vecna. Nancy told you that you never sleep well after your first time, but you hadn’t really believed her until now. It was a month after saving Hawkins, and you still couldn’t close your eyes without seeing a sobbing Dustin Henderson and a barely alive Eddie Munson. You couldn’t tell how phased Eddie was by this; you didn’t even know how much he remembered. Eventually, after some time just chatting about life post-Vecna, Eddie asks you the burning question.
“So are you having trouble sleeping, too?” He asks. You just nod. You don’t want to tell him what you see when you close your eyes. “I figured. I don’t want to sleep either. I just remember telling Henderson to take care of the new kids for me. I think I remember the rest of you guys yelling but I’m not sure. Scares the shit out of me to know I could have died down there.”
“I know what you mean,” you said. “It’s terrifying to go like that. You never think it can kill you until it does, or almost does. Vecna reached his hand out to me as Robin and I threw Molotovs at him, and I knew right then that if this didn’t work, I was done for. So I said a prayer and threw it.”
“Do you have that thing where you see the same thing when you close your eyes? It feels like you’re watching it as a movie. It doesn’t feel like you, but its not not you, you know?”
You had never heard it all described so clearly before. It was like he had it all figured out, even though you knew there was really no way for any of you to have any of this really figured out. You sighed, “Yes. That’s exactly how it is. I feel like I can’t get it to leave me alone. Like the scene just has to play through to the end.” You paused a moment, “I thought you were dead, Eddie.”
Both of you sat in an uncomfortable silence a moment. It was true. Everyone thought he was dead, even Eddie. Miraculously, he made it, and that was what everyone chose to talk about, but no one ever wanted to talk about the horrors of the “after”, the post-Vecna, whatever you wanted to call it. It was almost as if choosing to live in the past forever would keep you safe from what came next. What’s one more time?
“We should step out for some fresh air,” Eddie said. You quietly followed him behind the house to Steve’s pool. The lights were on out back, giving the pool an inviting blue glow. Eddie started stripping out of his clothes next to you.
“What are you doing?” you said, confused.
“Doing what I always do when I start thinking about this shit: literally anything else.”
Eddie strips down to just his boxers and takes a running start into the pool, the smell of chlorine rushing up to hit your nose as he splashes into the water. His method, albeit somewhat avoidant and unhealthy, sounded good in the moment. “You should join me. The water’s not too cold.”
Hesitantly, you agree. You weren’t keen on the idea of getting naked in front of your friend, but honestly, anything to push the thoughts out of your head sounded pretty damn good at the moment. You took off your tee shirt and jeans leaving only your bra and underwear still on. “Pink? Nice,” Eddie said sarcastically, trying to lighten the mood. You walk back about as far as you can go, and take a running leap. You were submerged in the cool water as your feet touched the bottom. As you rise to the surface, you push your hair out of your face and take a big breath of fresh air. You look over at Eddie, his wet face shining in the moonlight. His hair was now slicked back aside from his bangs sticking to his forehead. “Feel a little better?” he asked.
“Yeah, I think so,” you were surprised by how quickly it had cleared the thoughts out of your mind.
“I told you so,” Eddie said. “You’re safe here. We’re both safe. Nothing is going to happen to us.”
“How can you be so sure of that?” you asked.
“Well to be honest, I’m not sure. But I know what it’s like now. The others have done this even more than we have and made it out alive every time. I will be there to protect you. I’m not going anywhere anytime soon,” Eddie said. His voice sounded shaky, but not afraid. You couldn’t put your finger on the emotion in his voice. “You will always be safe with me.”
You didn’t exactly know how to process that. You really liked Eddie, but you never knew he cared about you like that. Maybe it was just the trauma, or living through the after, but something drew the two of you together that you couldn’t place. The two of you got off the subject quickly, talking about music and movies and your friends, about how ‘86 was finally you and Eddie’s year, regardless of how difficult it was.
“You wanna race?” you ask Eddie.
“What?”
“Do you want to race from one end of the pool to the other?”
“Why?”
“Because it’s fun?”
“Fine, but I have the clear physical advantage,” Eddie says sarcastically. He flexes his arm jokingly, but he looked stronger than he thought.
You both line up at the edge of the pool and count off from three. About halfway down the pool, you notice Eddie is ahead of you, so you try to grab his feet to pull him back. That pull pushed you forward just enough to beat him to the other side.
“What the fuck!” Eddie yelled. “That was so unfair!”
“I was simply using my resources,” you said. Eddie gets an idea, as evidenced by the devilish grin on his face. He begins to chase you around, eventually grabbing you and throwing you over his shoulder. By this point, both of you are laughing uncontrollably, and Eddie sets you down on the side of the pool.
“You know, you’re more fun than I thought you’d be,” he said.
“What, did you think I was gonna be mean and scary?”
“Well, I always pegged you to be more like Nancy since you guys are pretty close,” Eddie said. “You’re a lot more laid back.”
You looked at each other. There were no words but you felt like you could read his mind. His wet skin was soft and his shaggy hair hung around his shoulders, and his smile was still the biggest thing you were focusing on. “Come here,” he said. You obliged and hopped down. Eddie then wrapped you in the biggest bear hug you could imagine. The kind that pushes all your broken pieces back together. When he finally let you go, he gave you a quick kiss on the top of your head. “Nothing will ever hurt you again.”
You looked up at the man you had previously thought was impossible to know, realizing that all alone, he was keeping you out of the loop to keep you safe. You were both free. Nothing was stopping you anymore. You place a soft kiss to his cheek, testing the waters. Eddie hoists you up on to hips, wrapping your legs around his waist as he kisses you for the first time. He tastes like chlorine and salt, but none of that mattered right then. Both of you were safe.
As you pulled apart, the pool water had you both a bit sticky. You both decided it was about time to get out of the pool, grabbing towels from a bin just outside the door. As Eddie climbed out of the pool, his boxers clung to his skin, showing off his legs and leaving little to the imagination. The man was hung, confirming your suspicions. You dried off your hair, scrunching it up to try to get the water out, which only left your hair dry and frizzy. “I think I need to take a shower. I forgot how nasty pools can make your hair.”
“You’re telling me,” Eddie said. “Mind if I join you?” You stumble over your words a minute, not sure if he was joking.
“Uh sure? Why not?”
“Don’t be nervous, sweetheart. Nothing I wasn’t trying to see anyways.”
As Eddie followed you to the upstairs bathroom, you both tried to keep your footsteps light to not wake the others. It was almost three in the morning, but the two of you were still very awake. As soon as you shut the door, Eddie lifts you on to the countertop, placing his hands firmly on your waist. “Promise that this is what you want?”
“Absolutely,” you said. It felt like a switch in you just flipped as you start kissing him again, slowly slipping your tongue into his mouth. He starts to rub your sides, sinking the pads of his fingers into your flesh. You move his hands lower on to your thighs, and then further in between your legs.
“Are you sure?” he said.
“Quit being such a gentleman.”
That statement lit a fire under Eddie, gripping your thighs as he aggressively made out with you, eventually moving his hands up to grab your tits. He slips your bra off quickly and starts kissing up your body to your neck. You let out a quick whine, which was quickly silenced by a hand lightly wrapped around your throat. “Shhh, gotta be quiet, darling. Everyone’s still asleep.” You obliged as he kept making you squirm, fighting every urge to cry out. Eddie continued kissing along your neck and collarbones, loosening his grip on your neck as you settled down. He kept moving lower, kissing your breasts, the your stomach, ending with a soft bite on your upper thighs. “You’re so wet for me, sweetheart,” Eddie said as he pulled off your already soaked underwear. The whole bathroom reeked of sex and pool water, and you weren’t complaining. You also had a relatively quick and sudden understanding why Eddie may have handcuffs hanging in his bedroom. He pulled you down from the bathroom counter where you were no longer at eye level. Looking down at you, he let out a soft sigh. “I knew you were gorgeous, but this is almost too much.”
“So are you, Ed,” you exhale. “I didn’t expect you to be so good at all this.”
“I’m a nerd, not a virgin,” he chuckled. “Are you sure you’re good with all this? You don’t need to do anything you don’t want to.”
Eddie put his hand on your cheek, lifting your head up to meet his gaze. Despite you thinking this was just a hookup, you were both stone cold sober by now, and his eyes were all love. “So?” he asked.
You gave him a quick kiss and muttered out a soft, “please.”
“‘Atta girl,” he said, bending you over the counter. You could see him behind you in the mirror, fiddling with his boxers, pushing them down, and then looking at you in the mirror. The thought of being inside of you had him dripping. You felt him tease your entrance. “So fucking beautiful,” he says in barely a whisper. Eddie pushed into you, his length being more than you expected. You bite down on the palm of your hand to stifle the sounds coming out of you. Eddie chuckles, “so fucking good for me. Stay quiet, darling.”
He starts thrusting into you at a quicker pace, and you find it harder and harder to keep quiet as he reaches around your wait to play with your clit. “Please, Eddie. Don’t stop, please,” you say as quietly as you can. You feel a warm sensation pooling in your stomach as he presses the pad of his finger against your needy clit, stifling a moan as you come. After this, he takes away his hand as he continues to fuck you, grabbing your hair to make you look in the mirror. “Look how pretty you are when I fuck you,” Eddie said.
As he kept going, his thrusts grew more and more uneven, hips stuttering as he pulled out to come on your hips, groaning softly to avoid waking the others. As he grabbed the counter to steady himself, you stayed bent over the counter, knowing you were going to be about as graceful as Bambi after that. Eddie grabbed a hand towel and wet it in the sink, and then used it to clean up your back. He then helped hold you up, seeing as your legs were still a bit shaky. “How about that shower?” he asked innocently.
You just chuckled, “sure, Munson.”
Eddie ran the water in the shower and guided you in. While he washed your hair, he asked, “So, how was it?”
“How do you think?” Eddie looked at you awaiting a response. “Good! Like, really good! Context clues, Ed, god.”
“Oh, I know. Just wanted to hear you say it,” he said as he continued to rub the shampoo into your scalp, then rinsing it (and the crazy amounts of chlorine) out. He grabbed the conditioner and did the same, trying to comb out the knots with his fingers. “Pool water is so bad for your hair,” he says.
“And how would you know that?”
“Sweetheart- and I mean this in all honesty- do you think I don’t take care of my hair?”
“To be honest, I thought you were like every other man I know and used 2-in1.”
“Lies! Slander!” he laughs. You both finish your shower, and he leaves to grab your overnight bag so that you can both get ready for bed.
By the time you were finally getting ready for bed, you didn’t know what time it was anymore or much else for that matter. What you did know was that you no longer saw terrifying things when you closed your eyes. And that no one was sleeping on the couch that night, as Eddie pressed your head into his bare chest. And wordlessly, you both fell asleep easy for the first time in months.

I'm going to choose to believe that the entirety of Stranger Things (because we know now how absolutely garbage the dbros are at writing and you can see how they scrambled a story together after S1) was just a D&D game and all the kids & teen characters are players.

headcanon of Patricia's sinner capture
Just thought of a headcanon of how Patricia was captured in S3 to become a sinner. I feel like this scenario would've worked really well in canon for Patricia's capture.
So it starts off with Patricia finding the messages on Eddie's laptop (which as a side note, I will say it broke my heart to see her cry. Patricia never allows herself to be vulnerable in front of anyone and this is the first time we see her cry this much in the series and it was for Eddie. This shows how much love she has for Eddie and how much she trusts him. So for her to see these messages and think that Eddie betrayed her just shattered her heart. As well as mine). But after she storms off, after giving Eddie his laptop she heads out of the school to be alone.
At this point in canon, I think Victor was frustrated that Denby hasn't captured Patricia as a sinner so he decides to take matters into his own hands and use brute force to capture her.
So Patricia, after giving Eddie his laptop and saying "I hate you" to him, storms off and heads outside to be alone. She heads in the direction of the gatehouse, which is when Victor sees her and drags her to the gatehouse with force. Once in the gatehouse, Robert also assists him in dragging her to the tank room. At this point, it is about 10 mins to 12 so they have to keep her there until midday to commit a sin. Later Denby turns up and taunts her about the fake messages that were on Eddie's laptop, as well as the whole situation with Ben and the entire thing about the "roaming eye" (which was very weird of her to say to Patricia lol). Patricia then realises that it was Denby all along and starts screaming all these profanities at Denby including "I hate you" because she realised it was Denby who caused all of this.
So Patricia getting captured for the sin of spite wasn't because of her spite towards Eddie, but her spite towards Denby who was really behind it all.
Then they dragged her into the sarcophagus and Patricia became the sinner of spite.
I also thought of this after the whole vision Eddie had about Patricia getting dragged into the tank room was completely ignored after it was mentioned once. This could be the backstory behind the vision.
I understand that they didn't show her sinner capture because they wanted to keep the suspense of who the traitor within sibuna was (even tho it was obvious that it was Patricia lol), but I wish they showed it in the show. The reason being that it would be so heartwrenching to see Patricia at possibly her most vulnerable, screaming at Caroline, Victor and Robert that Eddie would never betray her, all for them to just taunt her with all of Patricia's insecurities like her trust issues and not feeling worthy enough, which only grows Patricia's spite towards them.
This would not only make for a very tense scene imo but also serve as a way to show how much Eddie means to Patricia (as if we didn't know that already but I can never get enough Peddie lmao). Also it would give a little more meaning towards those visions that Eddie had rather than being pointless plot points lmao.

i just think it's weird how 80% of the st fandom loves reblogging gifsets of the female characters of the show and either make it be entirely about the guys when they are literally not involved or just to flat out say they don't like her unless they're with some other guy. like don't y'all smell that shit in your mouth mary? do you know that gifmakers really don't care what you think of the character they took the time to gif? clearly you don't bc my god

Soulmate AU in which you see the way you die when you touch your soulmate for the first time.
And yeah we have the classic "bottle to the neck" scene which is kiss chief 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 BUT I present to you "Steve touched Eddie by mistake during high school" with a little bit of "Steve is an idiot and didn't notice" and "Eddie is suffering".
The fall of 1883. Steve has yet to make a move on Nancy, let alone touch her. Meanwhile Eddie is living his best life as of yet : his father finally got put in prison, new freshman has joinend his club and they finally found a drummer for their band. Yes, Will Byers got missing and Eddie felt a little bad for Jonathan, but that was life. Nothing could change Eddie's good vibes.
Until The King of Hawkins runs by him while trying to get to one Nancy Wheeler. The touch was barely there, a hand brushing by Eddie's leather jacket, but it was enough to trigger their apparent soulmate bound. That's when Eddie saw himself in front of his trailer (which looked more like a military base or a fortress with how heavily guarded it was), holding into a made up spear and a shield made with a bin's lid with nails pushed into it. There were huge bats (?) (Eddie wasn't sure what to name the things in the sky yet) getting out of the trailer and him from the vision began running towards one of the bikes outside, getting on one of them and pedalling away from the trailer.
He was yelling for them to follow him. It probably made sense, if uncle Wayne was in the trailer, for him to try get those monsters away. That didn't stop Eddie from being surprised at seeing himself trying to be the hero.
He was no hero. Eddie has always run away from conflicts, from fights and situations that put him in a bad spot. From help too, until his father finally lost it to the alcohol and Eddie has to accept uncle Wayne's offer to move with him if he wanted to stay alive. He was known for running away.
Yet he was trying to get the monsters away from the trailer, distract their attention. And he made a good job too, until his bike got stuck into a vine and made him hit the ground. Eddie felt sick while watching his vision self try fight the monsters only to get pinned down by them and eaten alive. He from the vision was yelling from pain and it took agonizingly long for the huge bats (looking closer they had no resemblance of bats, yet it felt right to call them as such for some reasons) to drop on the ground. By then it was more blood outside of Eddie than inside and he could see his vision's self organs from one of the bites.
There was more, Eddie knew there was more to watch, more to see before he was going to take his last breath, but the vision was too much and it took all of his willpower to get out of it. By then he was alone in the hallway, the classes going while he was watching his own death happen. He went straight for the bathroom and pushed his way into the first stall before getting on his knees and vomiting all he got to eat the other day.
He was crying. Eddie could tell that it was going to happen soon, with how young he looked in the vision. At that point it didn't even mattered anymore that his soulmate was the biggest jerk alive, not when the future was so dark and he wouldn't survive it.
Somehow Eddie spent the rest of the school classes in the bathroom, switching between vomiting and mourning over something that he was never going to have.
