Author's Note: After quite some time, hello! I'm so sorry this took so long, but life has been so busy and hectic last month I simply didn't have time and energy to write this sooner. So what's one more? @lachikapercebe also asked for this list, but requested only my top five; however, since I already started the list without a specific target number from Anon Two, and Korea gives some of the best confessions in the genre mixed with color coding, I can't reduce the list now. It's too late for me to trim it. I am attached to each pick. They are my children, and I can't desert them, so . . .

Top Ten Korean BLs

Rising Star - Love Tractor

I don't trust Korean BLs. A majority are too short, so either the beginning is confusing or the ending is flat, but unless Love Tractor completely fumbles the second half (which it could because . . . Korea), this will be a yearly top and even possibly an overall top for its country and all BLs. It's that good to me. It's hitting all the normal K-drama notes while being oh-so-very-gay. And as a rural queer, it pleases my soul to see country life presented in such a kind and beautiful way.

#10 - Roommates of Poongduck 304

Mr. Petty Peter Jae Yoon independently earned a spot on this list. Ho Joon was a jerk and a true nemesis when the show began, but Jae Yoon started effing up Ho Joon's home life the more Ho Joon kept messing up his work life, so it was a beautiful tit-for-tat the first few episodes; then, Ho Joon lost focus and wanted a consensual workplace relationship. His father appreciating his new attitude and rejection of his ladies' man ways was a delight to witness since we all knew it was due to him falling in love with a man. And oh boy did he fall in love. That entire conversation of Jae Yoon saying it's impossible for two men to fall in love, only for Ho Joon to respond that it was impossible for him NOT to fall in love with Jae Yoon is a top tier confession for me.

#9 - Blueming

I have issues with Blueming solely due to its ending because I was just as pissed as Siwon was at Daun. Maybe even more so. All was going well; then, the end of episode nine pulled a Thai episode eleven, and DAUN TOLD HIS MOM TO PICK THE FILM! I understand men in love do dumb shit, but that was a bold choice, and a very, very, VERY wrong one. As the youths say, "that was not the move." However, the cinematography was delicious like their silhouettes with that bewitching blue backdrop and their first kiss was realistic. Pretty kisses are cool and all, but the awkwardness of desperately wanting someone yet not knowing how to physically perform is true to many people's experiences and should be spotlighted more.

#8 - Choco Milk Shake

I only trust two entities with poly: Thai director Jojo, and Korea's Strongberry, so the fact that Strongberry did not give me poly when it was so clearly laid out is the reason this show isn't in the top three. It had a supernatural plot, great characters who were all well cast, and a happy ending, so WHY NOT POLY? I don't care if the rest of the world is ready or not. I'M READY! We are getting a second season, so if I if get a kiss AND a vocal acknowledgement of Milk and Choco's love for each other when their love for Jung Woo was well established in season one, this will cement its place in my heart and on this list forever.

#7 - Light on Me

Sixteen episodes with most running about thirty minutes?! A love triangle where I could root for both love interests?! A straight boy who earned his spot at the queer table?! Light on Me had it all and then some! Looking at my various lists, it's clear I am not fond of high school dramas, yet I was seated twice a week to see how our neurodivergent baby boy, Tae Kyung, fared that week in his adventure through social norms and annoyances, like trying to help a fellow peer by giving him back the dildo he dropped in the hallway, but getting yelled at instead. I was not Team Shin Woo until that cellphone confession, and then all I could see was Shin Woo. I'm telling y'all, Korea understands how to confess its unwavering love. Gets me every time!

#6 - The New Employee

As the BL fandom continues to evolve and expand, we will get more BLs geared toward adults and workplace dramas, but hopefully, they take the approach that The New Employee (and Thailand's Step by Step) did and make the work environment part of the drama. Working adults, sadly, spend a majority of their time at work, so finding love at one's job seems reasonable, but if anyone has experienced coworkers breaking up, that shit can get rough, real quick. So having to navigate a relationship with someone you work with, especially someone of a higher authority position, ON TOP OF being queer can be stressful, and is something I want more BLs to explore. There are levels to being out, and for most queers, being out at the job is not a possibility, but finding love anywhere is always a possibility, particularly for our late 20-something virgins.

#5 - Semantic Error

The fact that this came out in 2022 is beyond my understanding only because it seems like I have appreciated it for at least five years. This has become a comfort watch when it first started as a "nothing else is on" watch. I have never cared so much about honorifics in my life as I did watching the slow transition of Sang Woo’s emotional walls crumbling under Jae Young’s affection through language. As much as I hated the idea of forced collaboration (aka group projects), seeing the way Jae Young squirmed his way into Sang Woo’s every waking thought and had him seeing red to the point that Sang Woo was saving screenshots of Jae Young’s Instagram posts was a delight and one of the major reasons I keep returning to it. But the layered confession about Sang Woo finding Jae Young, a man, attractive which lead to Jae Young's countdown kiss is, once again, the reason Korean BLs win in the confession department.

#4 - The Eighth Sense

I'm still really bothered by some of the discourse that came out of this show about how it was better than everything else ever because the comments were reductive about the BL genre, yet some of the comments resonated with elements I loved about the series, mainly its look at mental health and trauma. It was a beautiful show, but the message it carried throughout about depression being isolating and taking the light out of people's lives hit me in a way that if this was the Thai list, I would have left it off because it felt like a personal attack. Wanting someone to save you from yourself, but terrified to drag them down with you was not the plot I wanted, but was the story a lot of us needed to see. We also needed to witness someone actively going to therapy. Let's continue this trend!

#3 - Our Dating Sim

"Have you been well . . . without me?" - Put this on my tombstone because I died and came back to life from this utterance alone. Episode four was already killing me, but once Eddy snapped and allowed all his emotions to spill out in front of Ian, the show came for all my past lives and future ones too. Deceased. I wrote this about the show while it was airing, but no other show has done the leave-him-because-I-love-him plot as well as Our Dating Sim. This show nailed it then made a billboard to boast about it because it was perfection. Ian's reasons for leaving were valid, but the show really shined by allowing Eddy to voice his anger at being ghosted for seven years by his best friend and someone he loved. It even touched on the trust issues that stem from someone saying he loves you only to abandon you. Just know I have NOT been well since this ended.

#2 - To My Star 1 & 2

The first season was almost perfect. The cat/dog energy, the "If it's hard for you, I'll come to you" confession, and the budding kink of Ji Woo kissing a tiny bloody wound on Seo Joon all served in a quick nine episodes gave me everything I needed, so I thought this would be my #1 the second season two was announced, but understand the sequel hurt me. The foundation was great: everyone came back, it had more episodes, the episodes were longer, and the conflict always existed in the first series, so a last-minute twist wasn’t invented. Yet, every single episode hurt. Much like I Told Sunset About You, it was realistic to the point that I expected it to end with pain. If season two was its own show and not a sequel to one of my favorites, it would have ranked higher because it was beautiful, but knowing the magic the first series possessed, and having to be a bystander to all the angst for EVERY EPISODE WITH NO RELIEF was tough. But, somehow, here I am secretly hoping we get blessed with a third series. That’s the power of the Star.

#1 - Long Time No See

Small flex - I've been involved with an international queer film festival for over a decade. I've seen easily over 1,000 pieces of queer media including feature films, short films, and documentaries through the screening process, which only adds to my always growing personal watched list. Long Time No See was one of those films. It didn't make it into the festival because I think it was already available on a streaming platform (maybe?), but it was a top for me then, and it's still a top for me now. Is it a BL? Not really. Is it a show? No, it's more like a two-part movie. So why am I allowing it to reign at the top of this list? BECAUSE IT IS AMAZING! In 2017, we were still getting the bury your gays trope shoved down our throats, so a film about two assassins getting a happy ending was a miracle. I read comments from some who did not like the portrayal of "toxic love" but were probably fine with Mr. and Mrs. Smith beating each other with cooking utensils for all the world's children to see, so God forbid, the queers do anything like want to kill AND fuck each other. Niña, Pinta, and Santa María, LET THE GAYS DO CRIMES TOO! Oh, and it's Strongberry, so because of this film - In Strongberry I trust.

And Hunterrrr he's so puppy. Literally love this art so much for the little glimpse into how content and happy he is in this relationship. He's all sappy and silly in love, I adore it. He gets a little affectionate touch from his girlfriend and he just happily melts into it. Man just wants her to keep touching him forever and ever.

Agsbdjnk it kinda looks like she's showing him off to other people. Either as her star player or her boyfriend. Based on the clipboard Hunter is holding its probably the former. Maybe they're looking for new recruits.

This is so soft I'm dying. Something about hunlow being touchy is super special to me. I still haven't recovered from the end of WAD where Willow was looking for her Dads and Hunter was comforting her with a hand on her back. That's what this reminds me of. I think it's interesting and super sweet that this was apparently a very early drawing of them, while the crew was still figuring out their relationship. His hand on her back, something that became a clear display of how protective and careful he was with her, and its the first thing Dana ever drew of them. I'm insane.

It also looks like he's blabbering away about something, eager to show her. I'm gonna cry. He's happy. He's comfortable. He wants to share his passions with her.

I asked @anstarwar what they wanted me to draw and they requested Alejandro and Rudy drinking margaritas in hoodies with thumb holes 😌

And then I also wrote a little snippet for it, which you can read under the cut!

When Rudy looks up from the table, Alejandro is weaving his way back towards him, carrying two glasses in his hands that look way too fancy to be beers.

He has to dodge several exuberant Vaquaros, who all want to have a chance to congratulate their Colonel on another successful mission.

Rudy watches it all unfold with a fond roll of his eyes. He's happy that the men are able to blow off some steam for a night. It's not usually his cup of tea, but his presence is important for morale, and now that he's had a few beers, he can't say he's not enjoying it somewhat.

Across from him, Gomez has definitely had more than a few beers already and has apparently decided that the table is the right place for a nap. Poor kid has worked his ass off to get the paperwork all sorted before their night off base.

Alejandro puts down what are now clearly margaritas on the table with a clunk.

"Margaritas, Ale? Really?"

"We're celebrating, Rudy!" Ale grins at him, taking his seat again and pulling the two glasses towards them.

"Mango or lime?" He asks.

"Mango, you absolute psychopath," Rudy mutters, as he takes the more orange colored drink and takes a sip. It's good. A little sweet, but he likes that.

"Suit yourself." Ale shrugs, taking a much larger gulp of the margarita than is probably wise.

Rudy doesn't remember at which point the alcohol really hits him, but he does know that Alejandro's shoulder is very comfortable and that he doesn't really care that Gomez has woken up from his nap and has been quietly observing them for the past few minutes.

Alejandro is in the middle of a story, and Rudy watches him through half lidded eyes. He's so handsome. The way his eyelashes flutter and his dimple appears when he laughs. His partner. His.

"Rudy, are you listening?" Ale asks, stopping his story mid sentence.

"Hmm, not really," Rudy hums, bringing up his glass to empty the last of his drink, "You're too handsome. You're distracting me."

Ale flashes a smile at him, "I'm distracting, huh?"

"Very much so. I don't mind though." Rudy adds.

Someone snorts. It's probably Gomez, but Rudy doesn't feel like checking. He's too busy staring at Ale's lips.

He's probably pretty tipsy, but he really really wants to kiss Alejandro right now. So he does.

"I also don't mind doing this," Rudy says, then pulls a surprised Ale in for a kiss.

His partner pauses for a second -they don't usually flaunt their relationship in public like this- but then apparently decides he also doesn't give a shit, moving his hands to Rudy's face as he deepens their kiss.

"Ew, get a room," Gomez laughs at them, gathering their empty glasses, and getting up from the table, ready to take his leave.

Rudy simply flips him off. He's got much better things to do right now than argue with his Staff Sergeant.

You’re woken early in the morning to a clattering in your kitchen.

It’s not an altogether unusual experience for you, to wake up to someone rifling through your medicine cabinet, slipping into your bed, drinking your tea, sleeping in front of your television with the volume set low.

So, you don’t give the sounds much thought, stretching as you pull on your robe and walk to the kitchen, still rubbing your eyes, to see what all the fuss is about.

Jake - and it's very clearly Jake with the mischievous glint in his eye, his white button down pulled out of his trousers, his tie loose around his neck - stands at the counter with a bloody rag pressed to his side. His shirt is between his teeth, holding the fabric away from his wound.

“Mornin’ querida,” he says lightly when he releases the shirt. “Didn’t mean to wake ya.”

“Jake!” you exclaim, rushing to his side to press the cloth there with your own hand and urge him backward until he sits at the table. “What the fuck - why are you always bleeding out in my kitchen?”

You peek at the wound and curse at him under your breath, before turning for the med kit that you keep on top of the fridge. “You know, Steven brings me books when he comes over and Marc always brings me something to eat and you - you - what happened?”

Jake doesn't so much as flinch as you clean the swallow cut, your shoulders relaxing when it doesn’t look as bad as you feared. In fact, he’s smiling at you, his free hand lifting to slide the backs of his fingers along your cheek. His expression is soft despite your beratement.

“I don’t know,” he says, his voice teasing. light. “It was like that when I woke up.”

You level an unimpressed look at him. “Suppose you’re going to blame it on Marc? Is that the best excuse you can come up with?”

“Oh, no,” his eyes are amused and so fond, and you cannot for the life of you think why he would be looking at you like that when your chest feels tight with worry. “It was me.”

You roll your eyes and finish applying the bandage. “You’re going to make me prematurely gray, Jake. I could throttle you right now. You have to be more careful.”

The smile on his face only grows.

He stands and cups your face between his hands, thumbs stroking over the curve of your cheeks. “For you? Anything, mi vida.”

You lift a disbelieving brow, and open your mouth to call him on his shit, to remind him of all the other times, when he kisses you.

It’s a soft kiss, the edges of his mouth curling up against yours. “Thank you.”

“Stop making it a habit,” you mutter but don’t move away.

He just laughs and tugs you closer.

my FAV question 😍bc I'm a Venusian men connoisseur, enthusiast and expert 😤🤭

God has given me the exquisite privilege of having known many Venusian men and women and let me tell y'all 😍I love them😍 this is gonna be a bit of a storytime as well so buckle up.

Fair warning, these experiences are a bit of a mixed bag 🤧😤

1. Purvaphalguni Moon guy, super duper sweet, would bring me chocolates, drop me home in his car whenever I asked?? just all around super considerate?? he always did that tall guy thing where they bend forward a little bit to hear you better and idk it always made my heart skip a beat 😌he once saw me argue with a guy and he intervened and then also told me to let him know if this other guy ever gave me trouble (im really into this kind of performative masculinity 😌) he always defended me in front of others?? and always took my side and made me feel comfortable. he asked me out one night and confessed that he had a thing for me for 5 years (i been knowing but I played it cool 😎) but then got all pervy and said he wished I was in bed next to him??? 🤮🤮🤮Imagine waiting 5 years to confess and then u fkn ruin it like that ??? Gave me the ICK big time. I stopped talking to him, 6 months later, he texts me again and says he misses me and wants to ask me out again and I was seeing my ex at that point so I told him I'm seeing someone else and he said ?? it doesn't matter ??? 😭😭 and that he's never ever felt this way ever before and that he wanted me to think this over ??? (I never texted him after that)

2. Purvaphalguni Moon man in his 30s- I worked with him a few years ago. He was super shy and kind of awkward but extremely intelligent and good at what he did. He was married and had a kid. He always gave me mixed signals?? one day I was working with him and it was just us and he said that he's been intrigued by me since the first day and that he usually never initiates conversation with anyone but really wants to talk to me (he seemed genuine and he legit did not speak to anybody there and he had a very warm gentlemanly demeanor so none of this sounded creepy to me) and he told me that I seem very different from everybody else and I was like 😏😏but then he said "you seem to carry a heavy emotional burden" and I was like 😳😳how u know that and I said (we were talking in our mother tongue and I said this using very formal language??) "I don't deny that" and he responded (in similarly formal language) "Even if you do, I won't believe you" and trust me y'all my heart was 😭😭😭he always helped me?? always did little things to make things easier for me?? even when we weren't directly working together, i could always tell he was watching me?? He always indulged me?? I remember how I'd do something stupid and look at him with a 🥺🥹poor me kind of expression and his face would soften and he'd help me out in a very warm genuinely sweet way?? the first guy I mentioned was also like that, the eyes chico, they never lie

3. My ex had Venus atmakaraka so I'm gonna include him 🤪

Y'all the man was obsessed with me. He'd come all the way over to my house, just to see me stand on my balcony 😭 he came all the way over to my house to give me a love letter he wrote for me?? He knew I loved dark chocolate so one day out of the blue, he bought me a big bar for no reason?? along with a book because he knows I love to read 😭😭he loved giving head 🤪i associate being a giver with Venusian men ngl and he always told me he was so fond of it. He always video called me bc he missed seeing me and whenever we went even a little while without talking on call, he'd call me and then say "God I missed your voice, please keep talking, I just want to hear you" 😭😭😭and he'd buy me little gifts 🥺 and we'd do this thing where he kissed me all over my face, even on video?? like I'd point to my forehead and he'd kiss that, then cheek, other cheek until my whole face was covered. I have a lot of moles all over me and he remembered them all and he'd give kisses to them as well 😭😭😭he always told me how pretty I looked and whenever I got shy, he'd do these cute hand gestures that you'd do to coo a baby?? and he'd say "awwww ur sooo cuteee when ur shy" and give me kisses 🥺and he always told me how he wants to see me make art etc and he'd call me after every therapy session to know how it went 🥺🥺 a million things were wrong with our relationship but all the goodness i associate with Venus tbh 😍

4. my Purvashada Moon male friend

he was in a relationship when i was friends with him but again, he was sooooo fond of me 🥺I was chilling with his gf once and he ran up to us with a DSLR and took pics of me and not her?? (I always felt like he didn't enjoy being with her but this moment really cemented that) he always included me in everything and he loved it when I'd make my jokes or tease him or whatever,, I'm the type of person who loves to be taken care of and he was the kind of guy who loved taking care of people,, he was always gentlemanly and sweet and would compliment me randomly?? again, he's never been a creep to me but I always felt awkward about how he seemed to treat me better than he treated his gf (he ended up cheating on her and breaking up with her so 😬😬)

5. Bharani Moon failed talking stage

He was super duper sweet. Extremely gentlemanly and considerate. One thing I've noticed is that all these Venusian men have complimented my voice/said they love to listen to me talk. I used to sing this man to sleep ya'll 🥹and he always said I put him in a trance?? lol? One time I told him that I'm such a boomer and I only know how to use my phone to text and make calls and he said "that's all you need to know cause if you need anything else, you have me" (for context: he was a software engineer) he helped me set up my LinkedIn??? one day we were on call and he asked me "oh the xyz internship you mentioned, can you tell me more about it?" and i thought it was a general question and i started yapping and he did that with my other internships and finally he said, "okay check your WhatsApp" and he had sent me a summarised bullet point list of everything??? and he said "okay now just copy paste this to LinkedIn" and i was so shook?? lol, he stayed on call with me until I was done, i asked him a million dumb questions and he was patient af and literally held my hand through the whole process (setting up a profile is really not that hard at all, it's just filling up a bunch of stuff and he was helping me out with that) after things ended between us, we spoke one more time and he said "I made xyz dish" (a dish that I had told him was my fav and which he didn't know how to make and promised me he would learn) and i was like "why?" and he said "because I was thinking of you and promised you I'd learn to make it" 😩😩😩😩i s2g these Venusian men really know how to get into ur heart bc wtf

6. Bharani Moon, the guy who I think might be my twin flame

First of all, UFFFFF he was obsessed with me. For over a year, he'd just follow me around like a lamb and stare. Even after he asked me out and I said I wasn't interested, he still didn't give up??? he seemed so obsessed with me , it was crazyy, he told me he just wanted to see me and talk to me (I don't know his personality at all but getting those texts kinda creeped me out but maybe he was as genuine as all the other guys?? 😶 Idk) he was always so intense?? like he never shied away from expressing his interest in me, i never expected him to be so forthcoming lol. he came all the way to my uni for no reason than to see me not once but TWICE 🥺🥺wish i could've interacted with him offline to gauge his personality bc based on how he was on text and call, I was put off by his intensity

he was super sweet to me, he always wanted to talk to me, we'd spend hours talking and he always complimented me, he always asked me if he could bring me snacks??? and he lived like half an hour away and he always said "yk you just have to call and ill be at your door" whenever i spoke about wanting to travel, he'd always say "i'll take you" (i had known of him for a long time but we'd only been talking for a few days so i thought it was too much and kinda gave me the ick???) and he was always just doing THE most and then he got super pervy which made me uncomfortable. i told him off for it and he said sorry and then literally in the next conversation when i asked him "what are three things you'd want to do before you die?", he said 2 things and then said "you" and i was like 🙄🙄and he said "dont hold it against me, im a dying man" ICKKKK anyways we stopped talking lol

im actually only now realising that ive had less than positive experiences with Venusian women lol lmk if you want me to talk about that tho 😶

Been playing AFK Journey and honestly...I'm loving it so far

So here we go with some headcanons and silly interactions

The player, either male or female, can attract beautiful women or be beasties with them

With my player and with the interactions with the characters I meet so far, she is most fond of women

Haven't really thought of a name for my player, so I'm going with "Magister" even tho their name is Merlin. Plus, they forgot half of their memories

Meeting with Valen, the character who everyone falls in love with him. Yeah... I don't really see him that way 😅

Other people: "He is so fine 😏"

Me: "He's my beastie. If I die, he's dying with me, ain't no choice."

He's my emotional support friend

Also, I'm glad that there were characters from the Afk Arena such as Antandra, Satandra, Rowan, Niru, Brutus, Thoran, Lyca, Silvina, Arden, Lucius,Mirael, and Eironn I'm surprised how Lyca is playable but not her brother Lorsan 😭

There are only a few celestials and hypogeans in the game (so far)

The side quest I've completed, Romeo and Juliet, I find it quite funny as the group read the letter Romeo wanted to give tk Juliet. Yeah, it was a bit cringe, but luckily, Lorsan is the guy who knows romance 👍🏼

And with that, we become a trio: Valen, the friend everyone has a crush on. Lorsan, the friendly one, and me the player and the great mage everyone thinks but just a chaotic gremlin searching for treasure chest. And then there's Rowan, the rich friend.

I go straight to the npc monsters to get goodies and resources for my heroes. I make sure my team is at a higher level than them.

Yesterday, I just figured that you can interact with the animals like a cat or dog, and it was just...so cute. It show hearts and even sounds of them.

As for the guild party, I haven't decided on which one and more focus on the story mode.

Speaking of which, I actually got asked on a date by none other than...Mirael. Yeah, that got me by surprised 😮 Fun fact, Mirael was my first crush when I started playing afk arena bc she could wield fire, but that was when Lilith introduced Talene. So getting asked out by her was like... a dream to me 😌

But then she left 😭 like what did I do!?!?!? Did I choose the wrong answer? Don't leave 😢

Back to the story, the group has to sneak into the old man's mansion to investigate more of the grape situation, and that's where I left on bc I was playing late at night

It is such a beautiful game with the graphics, the weather changing, and new heroes. I'm very happy to be able to play when it got released for mobile. Also, I was wondering if the devs would add heroes from the Afk Arena

This post absolutely killed me to shoot, omg. I was sitting here thinking "is there any way I can keep them... any way at all..." because these seven sims are genuinely some of the sweetest and funniest pixels I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing exist okay 🥹

Proper goodbyes for our darlings under the cut! Everyone, say a fond and fair farewell to Maxwell, Zayden, Jiro, Jasper, Ainsley, Orlando, and Nolan! 😭 This will not be the last time we see them! They are permanent fixtures in Dan's life from this point on, I'll see to that! 😉

[ Part 5/5 ] 🌹

Maxwell Santiago by @yikessims was an absolute darling from the moment he entered the Mansion. His Gloomy trait tended to get the better of him, though, and while he and Dan were largely friendly and had positive interactions, his constant Sad moodlets tended to make him very unreceptive to Dan's flirtations. Were it not for the negatives from those interactions, I'm sure Max would have made it farther! 🥺

Zayden Mars by @softietrait is exactly as delightful as he is portrayed in writing, and I honestly think he was just too much energy for our Dan! He was often Playful and loved pranking everyone in the house/on the Group Dates, and as Daniel was often the target of a lot of his buzzers, his resulting Tense moodlets made him straight-up refuse flirtations with Zay - who would then be unreceptive to any attempt Dan made to flirt afterward. 😮‍💨

Jiro Okabe by @wormsimblr is genuinely one of the closest sims to Dan in the house when it comes to Friendship points - he closely rivals Dodo for that position! He and Daniel could never seem to get in a groove when it came to romantic interactions, even when Daniel had plenty popping up in his Grab Bag! As you can see here, Jiro even refused an Embrace from the guy before leaving 😟

Jasper Hartley by @2013trait really related to Daniel on a lot of conversational topics, and the two of them got along just fine, but they never seemed to hit a stride with their flirtations. Daniel would try to flirt with Jasper, and Jasper wouldn't be receptive - only for Jas to immediately try to flirt with Daniel after, which he wouldn't accept, and it ended up happening so much that their Romance bar hovered in the same position for most of the challenge. 😓

Ainsley Copper by @jaigny was such a sweetheart, but he and Daniel seemed to have the same "problem" as Jiro and Daniel. Though they're undoubtedly attracted to one another, the two of them ended up closer as friends than they did as potential romantic partners: they can absolutely talk each other's ears off, but once it veered into Romantic interactions, Ainsley would often get Embarrassed by his Socially Awkward trait and their conversations would devolve from there. 😩

Orlando Harper by @akitasimblr was an absolute treat to watch in-game, omg. He was constantly doing something Athletic, and I was often yelling at him to stop going for soccer balls or yoga mats while posing the groups. 😂 I hate to perpetuate his career in Bachelor/ette Challenges, but this man was absolutely resistant to any sort of flirting - and Daniel actually finds him very attractive! 😂 Needless to say, the two have forged a genuine bond during this portion of the show, and I'm sure we'll see much more of Dodo in the rest of Dan's life to come. 😌

And ohhhh... Nolan Langford by @wastelandwhisperer was Sad for some reason on the day of the Rose Ceremony, and it just fit too perfectly to catch Daniel comforting him like this. 🥺 He was genuinely so excited for a chance to meet and romance his childhood hero, but in-game, Nolan tended to either be excited over Dan's celebrity status (which I ended up turning off for the poor guy's sake sdkjfhd) or simply uninterested in Romantic interactions. It's messed up, because Daniel's Grab Bag was always awash with Romantic socials spurred on by his Attraction to Nolan. They just never seemed to hit a stride - I hope you guys enjoyed how I portrayed it in the course of the show!

I love each and every one of these sims very deeply, and I want to thank you all for giving them to me and trusting me with their little pixel hearts. I have been there for the loss of many a sim in a Bachelor/ette Challenge, so I totally understand the disappointment and sadness over not seeing your sim anymore - my askbox is always open!

Again, this is definitely not the last time we'll be seeing these guys. I can't wait to get further into the challenge and show you how they'll be showing back up in the future, but know this - Daniel will keep relationships with these sims for the rest of his little pixel life!

Thank you all for following along with Kiss Me in Komorebi this far - we've gotten through one month, six group dates, and twenty-one solo moments to get to here! And we have so much more to experience: I am so glad you're all enjoying this, and thank you for following Daniel's journey for love! 🥰

When you first encounter the gang, it wasn't a very...proud encounter.

To be exact, trying to steal Vash's gun in the middle of a busy bar was a very brave choice knowing that the Humanoid Typhoon was trying to eat spaghetti, and in the flesh!

Bold dare I say but, besides that, you were getting hunted by a group of thugs that had been going through town and uh, you sure did cause a bit of trouble.

And by trouble I mean you stole their car keys and went out for a joy ride.

Yup, crashed that shit rightttt into a boulder.

And of course Vash, who's a bit too kind for his own good at times, wanted to help someone so young to Wolfwood's disbelief. Meryl and Roberto? They've witnessed what he did for Jenora Rock so they kinda expected it.

After that first meeting, you naturally stuck to the wacky group and often times when needed, you tried to help them in exchange for saving your life.

They say teens are rebellious while trying to find others who they can relate to or have a connection with and well, although you didn't really have a permanent home anymore like you use to, you slowly found yourself getting fond of this little wacky group.

And at some point while you guys got closer, Wolfwood tended to look after you a little more.

Was it because of his past? Or were you just a kid who needed the right guidance forward?

Either way, he tries his best to give you good advice,,, advice to keep you alive.

A practical guardian you could say,, Or kinda like an uncle?

And you know what, you don't mind it.

"Did your sticky little hands grab another fucking wallet? Seriously?"

'No I did not!" You narrowed your eyes at him "It's a map get it right. I also only steal from the rick-looking men Wolfwood cmon now-"

You ended up getting a bonk on the head from him, which led you to looking at Roberto, who downed another drink.

GROUNDED TO REALITY (YANDERE DEKU X READER)

Hey everyone, guess who's back in business?!!!😏😌 So, I'll be writing from now on and I just hope my account doesn't get deleted like the previous one. I hope you guys enjoy and forgive me if my writing sucks, it's been a while. And also, guess who officially turned 17 today 🥳

You had a fondness and passion for books ever since you were a child. The feeling of just delving into a world of fiction, where life wasn't complicated and didn't contain the toxicity of the real world made you feel at ease and gave you a sense of serenity, a feeling of tranquility to be precise. You've often found yourself getting lost in the fictional world, disregarding reality at times. Was it a coping mechanism for you? You weren't sure, but your parents didn't like the way you always preferred your books and novels to things happening in real life. Your parents owned a multi million dollar business empire, you being the only child of theirs would be next in line to inherit their large and vast fortune. Your parents weren't pleased when you informed them about your future plans to become a writer when they wanted you to be moulded into the perfect young successor they thought you'd be

"You're not going to waste your time sitting and writing silly childish stories!" your father bellowed on top of his lungs. You hated the way every night would end in an argument these days ever since your parents caught wind of you working on a new novel. "They're not silly childish stories! If you don't know about what I'm doing you're in no position to judge me" you retorted and glared at your father. Your mother had an icy expression on her face as she set her fork and knife on the table with a rather loud clatter and spoke in a cold voice "Where are your manners? Is that how you talk to your parents?" You just grumbled under your breath and stormed off to your room and shut the door behind you, ignoring your parents yelling at you to come downstairs to finish your dinner

That however, was just a single incident on how your parents tried to control your life. While you wanted to take a course for writing and establish your name in the writing industry, your parents forced you to attend the entrance exam of UA Academy, the most prestigious academy for upcoming and rising heroes of Japan. You had no intention of becoming a hero, ever. Sure, you always fantasized about saving people and you've had plenty of experience on how to write the personality for a hero but that didn't mean you wanted to become a hero yourself. Your quirk was your lucky factor, which enabled you to shoot black crystal spikes from the ground, instantly piercing through whatever your target is. You managed to get into the UA Academy and you had to admit, it honestly wasn't that bad

Out of all the people you've managed to befriend, you felt more attached and closer to Izuku Midoriya, a literal embodiment of sunshine. He was kind, optimistic and sweet. He always made sure you took your meals properly and stayed hydrated whenever you were working on your novel. Whenever you'd tell him about whatever scene or plot you were working on, he'd listen to you with rapt attention, with a look in his eyes that you meant the world to him, because you did. What you had no idea about was the fact that he was starting to grow obsessed with you. He couldn't stop thinking about you day after day as time progressed. He loved everything about you, you said you weren't sure if you were ever going to end up with someone because of your flaws and frankly, it just broke his heart. Though he held your hands and comforted you, the thought and very prospect of you ever ending up with someone other than him made him livid

You were too busy in your fantasy world to notice his red flags and suspicious behavior like how he knew literally everything about you, your daily schedule and not to mention him getting absolutely territorial and possessive over you when someone else approached you for anything. You just brushed off his behavior which was something you shouldn't have done, little did you know, you'd end up paying dearly and gravely for this negligence of yours. As much as he loved and admired your determination, he really wanted you to take care of yourself as well. He could see the listless red bleary eyes of yours and the dark circles beneath your eyes, a result from your lack of sleep and self care. He chided you like a mother hen and made sure to feed you during the lunch period because clearly, you weren't capable of taking care of yourself properly and he saw himself as your protector

One day as a result of you getting a low score on one of your tests, your father, out of sheer anger and fury threw your book into the fireplace, burning your hardwork and letting it go up in flames. You could only stare in horror with silent tears falling down your eyes as you tried to salvage whatever you could though your hands were burning. "I can't believe I was ever going to hand over the company to a disgrace like you" your father hissed as he walked out of the room, however you didn't have the energy to fight back against him. The next day when you were unusually quiet, Deku noticed it immediately of course. He noticed everything about you, your moods and your thoughts. Upon asking you what was wrong and when you filled him in about the situation at home, he found himself growing angry at your parents. How dare they stop his beloved from doing something you loved?

He already had plans to take you for himself and with this information, it just sped up his process. He didn't want you suffering from all the toxicity of the society, you were an angel. HIS angel, who deserves to be free and happy, with HIM of course. So he did what he thought was right by drugging you and taking you in the middle of the night. When you woke up, you were surprised to find yourself in a room which wasn't yours. After you got to know Deku's real intentions, surprisingly, you didn't feel like fighting back against him. At first, he was confused. Perhaps you were playing some sort of trick on him to gain his trust but when he watched and observed your behavior for a while, you were suspiciously calm about the whole situation at hand

You were tired of being the perfect golden child that always had to obey the rules and make your parents proud which never gave you time to work on your writing. Deku just hugged you and told you that he loved you for being you, that you were perfect in his eyes. When he said he was proud of you and your incredible writing talents, that's when you broke down and softly sobbed into his shoulder as he gently caressed your head and rubbed soft comforting circles on your back. You'd be lying if you didn't dream about moments like this from all the books and novels you'd been reading

Deku was going to keep you grounded to reality, with him by clipping your wings so you wouldn't fly away from him, which is the last thing he needs. Don't worry darling, he'll take good care of you and you'll be able to write your books once more. You won't be able to publish them though, not even under a fake account because he's really paranoid about people finding you and taking you away from him. And besides, he also feels like your talent would be wasted on undeserving people who wouldn't be able to understand your feelings through your writing like he did if you published your works. As for your parents, he'd deal with them in such a way that they'll be begging him for death after he's done with them. Of course he won't tell you what he's done with them though, the last thing he wants to do is make you scared of him. He loves you, you know... just make sure you show him some love too through those forced cuddle sessions he enforces on you before he hides your books and writing material. He has done that before and will continue to do so till you eventually give him what he wants, so there's no fighting it

So I was playing through the update (very very fun!!) and I got to the part where Rafaele asks the MC how he looks. I accidentally selected a choice without "looking" at Rafaele, then went back to look first and then select a choice. I found the contrast between the two outcomes very funny — I just had to pause and write this ask because man this got a lot of giggles out of me 👻👻

It was definitely a very nice semi-hidden little treasure to stumble upon! I probably wouldn't have found this if it weren't for accidentally clicking a choice without doing the looking first; I know that "not looking" is reflected in the wording of the choices in that certain scenario, but for some reason my brain didn't register it at all until I consciously looked closer 😭

Also, I really really like the "not looking" scenario for some reason?? It feels so familial and intimate, an exasperated father mock-sighing at his unabashedly confident child. It kind of feels like a peek into how MC interacted with their parents during their younger, more childish days 😌 It certainly gave me quite a few drabble/headcanon ideas regarding my MC and his parents, at least. I liked it so much that I decided to keep it (sorry, Rafaele)!! 😝✨

Anyways, I'm very much enjoying the new update!! Thank you for all the work you've done, and good luck with writing chapter 2! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ I'm really excited for it, but please do take your time! And I'm even more ecstatic that you caught the changes with the looking vs not looking (The choices and comments are different for each option depending on if you looked or not!!)! 💕 I wasn't sure if anyone would be able to see and appreciate the differences!

You're right, though -- it seems so familiar and easy in a way that's intimate to anyone you've been with for a very long time. So even if it may seem like the more "disrespectful" option, it really is just everyday interaction with your family. A little taken for granted, but loving all the same.

I'm super glad you like the dads, and I know many people do as well ❤️ I find it fascinating that we especially value and devalue ROs at the same time (no /neg or criticism). A lot of people look to IFs just for the romance, that sometimes we reduce characters we can romance to being there just for that. Thus, finding characters we can get attached to, without any prior expectation to romance them, feels more special.

Again, not necessarily a bad mindset, or directed towards you, specifically--it's just been on my mind for a long time! It makes me so happy that you can find a character like that in my IF, because I definitely do not want to make important side characters less loveable or interesting than the ROs. So your fondness for the parents is really special as well, and shows that that isn't the case!

Why is George Russell important to Mercedes PR plans in entering the Chinese market? — An opinionated talk by Ari

I'm not going to over speculate/over exaggerate the recent possibility of George promoting Mercedes (car company) in the Chinese market but if that really is the thing behind the whole douyin account thing, then allow me to do this talk about the whole possibility and why he's the right person if everything came true 😌😌

Why is he important? I've said lots of times on twitter (and maybe here i forgot) that George is a very good conversationalist. People use PR63 or PRussell to insult him but I do not think of it as an insult. Not everyone has natural born PR skills like George and if you look at some of the people in the grid? Fucking PR disasters whose image are saved by the work of their PR teams.

A good conversationalist like George can be seen from a) how he speaks b) the people he mingle with. Let's talk about point A. George might sound robotic to people who aren't used to/so fond of hearing PR speech but it is actually great because he answers those things diplomatically, weighing equally on the good and bad, rights and wrongs. Good and bad, rights and wrongs are heavily subjective. It differs from person to person. Having the ability to answer such questions diplomatically is a crazy talent. You might say "oh it's common sense, Ari" lol when you get out there and start working in the HR department/PR department, you'll notice that only 1% had that natural ability to be like George. And talking about speeches, forms of speeches extends beyond what is spoken verbally. Non verbal cues also shine through in this matter as the worst betrayer of a person is themselves and their non verbal cues. George is very good at controlling his non verbal cues. His expression, body language, gestures and much more. He is very good at controlling them (controlling ≠ hiding). He is very open with his body languages but also controls them very well (or it might just be him as an honest and good person tbh 😭) which is why these aspects made him a very good conversationalist.

The second one is the people he mingles with. "Ari he talks with that fraud FIA president and Fl*vi*" Gurl... I'm VERY sad to inform you that when you're in that position, you have 0 choice. It is very easy to be idealistic when you're not in that position but when you're in that position, it is not easy. This is the harsh truth. But aside from that, look at how easily he befriends people outside and inside the sport. From the executives, engineers and staff inside his team, other drivers on the grid, media, fans and more. He mingles with just anyone. And i think that might have to do with him being very good at finding people's hot buttons, being very responsive, a good listener and a good conversationalist. Those things are REAL talents because even me, myself, have not fully established those qualities despite studying these theoretical things myself in educational institutes and from obtaining real life experiences related to that. The people he mingles with shows that he is able to handle any kinds of diversity with such grace and respect. And respect won't happen without someone knowing and acknowledging the boundaries and differences as well as the concept of diversity.

Now we move on to the part of why he is so important to Mercedes PR plans for the chinese market.

Not every part of the world revolves with the european/american progressive mindsets and cultural values. Some parts of the world value the concept of cultural significance and emphasize a lot on respect (could be age/cultures/etc) which may be a bit lacking when compared to the european/american liberal progressive ways. And China is one of the latter countries. China is a very culturally rich country and they are very strong in the concept of respecting others. Those values are a part of the reason for where they are now internationally. They are very very proud of their own culture (as they should!) and living values. They are also a very innovative and creative country that uses every single thing at their disposal to the utmost.

To appeal to a country that is culturally rich and emphasizes heavily on their values and norms, they can't just pull a whole "let's do business" kind of thing. Every company/brand obviously needs someone, no matter if the impact ended up being small or big, to represent them. That representative will then be their ambassador/muse for them to appeal to the general public. And that's where George fits the criteria. A Formula One driver, one of the most followed on instagram (Top 10), having a pretty much solid spotlight on him in the sport, and on top of that, he is a very respectful, open minded, down to earth person who is also a good conversationalist that is REALLY REALLY great at networking.

George is also very strong and dedicated to his PR duties and obligations. He interacts well with his fans and is very good at creating a positive friendly environment and vibes for everyone. He is very good at networking and he knows the boundaries, both for the people he interacts with and the boundaries with Mercedes. He knows very well how to play the game and does everything so diplomatically.

There is a thin line between being diplomatic and being a "teacher's pet", "ass licker", "dick sucker" and others. The thin line is when someone is being diplomatic, they know how to not just please someone but also assert their stance on something politely and these people are not the kind of people that are pushovers. They know very well how to stand up for themselves, tug the necessary strings and others. While the so-called "teacher's pet", "ass licker", "dick sucker", they don't know how to do those things. They don't do it very well and could easily be a manipulative and cunning person. A diplomatic person is able to take advantage of a situation without pulling on some tricks, evil strings, and others. They do it so naturally while also asserting what they want and where they stand. That's what differentiates a diplomatic person and a "teacher's pet", "ass licker", "dick sucker".

So, these are the reasons why, in my opinion, George could make a very great piece to Mercedes PR plans on their chinese ventures. It's not all about marketability, popularity and those numbers you see on social media but what is also important is the individual themselves and how they carry themselves in real life, in front of the public, to the company and everyone else.

This is really long because Malleus brainrot go brrrrrrrrr

I write this in my car as I wait for my shift to start waaaaaah

Part 1

Malleus had become accustomed to spending time at the Ramshackle dorm, so much so that they'd given him permission to enter whenever he pleased

The dragons would watch for him out the window and wait for him to approach during his nightly strolls

Then greet him at the door when he entered

The serpentine dragon that always coiled around the prefect's waist would now coil around his

And the other dragons that lived in the dorm building would dip their heads at him both in greeting and as a show of respect

He'd grown quite fond of his time with the prefect and their many dragons

Currently he was sitting next to the prefect in the Ramshackle dorm common room, listening intently as they talked about their day and their classes

Occasionally he'd offered to help them with their studies, but it seemed today that they needed no such help

So he indulged himself in their conversation, responding where he needed to

As his listened though, his mind wandered

Malleus?

They'd asked at one point

Would you show me your dragon form one day?

He'd agreed

In time

When they finished speaking, they stared at his face

They were curious about what had been distracting him, and he knew

Child of man

His voice was questioning, despite the sentence having been formed as a statement

His expression was serious as he looked them in the eye.

Yes, Malleus?

They were slightly concerned about what he would have to say, but that did not change the curious gleam in their eyes

Do you still wish to view me as I appear when I take on the form of a dragon?

Their expression changed to surprised but a wide smile crept across their face

Of course.

Wordlessly he leads them outside, being too big to show them indoors

And when he does their jaw falls open

It was very quick

A blinding green light forced them to cover their eyes and when they looked back Malleus was gone and replaced with a large dragon

They looked up at him in awe, admiring the scales of onyx

With a beckoning motion of their hand, they signaled for him to dip lower his head so they could reach

He obliged emerald eyes closing as he moved to their level

Immediately their hand found his snout and they ran their fingers across the reptilian skin

His scales were smooth to the touch and had a lingering coolness

They moved past his head and wrapped their arms around his neck

Thank you for showing me

Malleus lifted his head up so the prefect dangled off the ground

They yelped in surprise, but slid down onto his back and clung to him.

They could tell from the gleam in his eye that he found it amusing.

The other dragons inside Ramshackle watched from the windows in interest, some even being brave enough to approach Malleus

As he sat, one of the dragons coiled around his tail

The prefect smiled widely at the sight, and wrapped their arms once more around his neck, cheek pressed against his scales

The dragons had taken to him rather quickly, some climbing all over him, others just lying next to him.

The serpent that liked to coil around the both of them had climbed its way to the top of his head and wrapped itself snuggly around one of his horns

As the prefect slid down from his neck, onto his back and down his tail, his wings engulfed them when they touched the ground

They ran their fingers over his skin and as they give him a gleeful smile, he turns back in another flash of green

They grasped his hand

"You kissed Joonas on stage last night!?" Jani looked up from his phone towards his bandmate sitting across from him.

Jere shrugged not getting why the red-haired singer sounded so shocked about it.

"Yeah, it just happened."

He had filled in as Blind Channels percussionist yesterday, since Aleksi had fallen sick with a fever. And their last song, driven by all emotions and adrenaline, Joonas had smooched his cheek leaving Jere smiling from ear to ear.

And said moment got captured by their photographer and was just uploaded to Instagram. And for some reason Jani wasn’t very fond about it.

"It just happened?!" Jani asked in disbelief.

"Yes, it’s not a big deal, you know how touchy he gets sometimes." Jere shrugged his shoulders again, examining his friends face. His ears mimicked the colour of his hair.

"Wait? Are you jealous?"

"No, I'm not!" Jani replied a bit too quickly. "I just…why-are-we-not-kissing-on-stage?"

He hated himself the moment the words had left his mouth. Sheepishly he turned his face, avoiding Jeres gaze and bracing himself for his reaction.

Jere got up from his seat and walked over, taking Janis' face in both of his hand, forcing him to look up at him.

"Come here, idiot!"

I may be mute, half deaf and soon to be half blind thanks to the stupid flu, but as I was resting my eyes I had a ~vision~ so here's Olli helping Aleksi try... something for the first time ever before a show. Aleksi is reluctant, but why oh why? 😌

just something quick and simple for change, hope you enjoy it 💕

"So, what do you say?"

"No, thanks."

"Come on now, be a sport."

"No."

"Aleksiiiiiiiiiiiii."

"I said no!"

"Everyone else has some! You can't look like the odd one out."

"Tommi doesn't have any!"

"Yeah, Joonas is working on that– Aleksi, please."

"Nuh-uh."

"I swear I'll make it look nice."

At long last Aleksi got bored of Olli's begging, rolled his eyes and kept his mouth shut. He was not that easily persuadable, thank you very much; he wanted to stay faithful to his own, unique style, and if that made him 'the odd one out', then so be it. It was non-negotiable.

Or it would have been, if he hadn't then made the faithful mistake of allowing his eyes wander away from his phone and glance at Olli's direction.

The black pencil swirled in between his fingers skillfully like the drumstick between Aleksi's own. The smile on his lips was small but full of sincerity, just like everything in Olli was. It took him exactly two seconds to break down.

"Fine. But if I hate it, I'll wash it off."

"No need to," Olli grinned, his self-satisfaction shining across the room, "I'm the best eyeliner artist in the entire band. Joonas wishes his wings looked as symmetrical as mine."

Olli patted the spot next to him on the backstage sofa, his smile shifting – subtly, but still – from warm and friendly to more smug and somewhat unreadable; it gave Aleksi shivers as he walked towards Olli.

Okay, perhaps preferring his own stylistical choices wasn't the only reason Aleksi was hesitant about the experiment. Perhaps he was also just a little nervous about Olli getting as close to him as the operation would require. Perhaps he got a little shaky when he imagined feeling Olli's breathing on his face or, god forbid, on his lips (which craved Olli enough as it was).

Perhaps the sole thought terrified Aleksi to the bone.

Sitting down next to Olli, he flashed his friend a weak smile that probably did nothing to hide his anxiousness. Olli's own softened then, and he reached his hand to rub Aleksi's knee gently.

"Right, let's start with the lids. I need you to look down."

Aleksi did as he was told and lowered his gaze to his lap. A fond smile appeared on his lips almost instantly when he looked at his own nails and the crumbled black nailpolish on them. That was another one of Olli's stupid (actually genius) ideas; that time, instead of a sweetly innocent smile, it had taken a few glasses of spiked Mountain Dew for Aleksi to give in. He wasn't sure if black nailpolish was something he'd adopt to his day-to-day style, but seeing the excitement on Olli's face had been the experiment. The tongue sticking out of Olli's mouth as he had concentrated on painting his nails as carefully as he could was kinda cute too.

With his thoughts drifting, Aleksi had barely noticed Olli finishing his left eyelid already.

"Keep looking down. I'm gonna do both sides at the same time."

"Mmh-hmm," Aleksi hummed in response. Olli's hand brushed the side of his nose. Aleksi closed his eyes.

The pencil tickled his eyelid, urging him to move, but Olli's other hand sneaking at the back of his neck made him freeze instead.

"Sorry. I hope my hand's not too cold. I just... need you to stay still," Olli chukled in a low voice that created an unbearable sense of intimacy. Despite his nerves, Aleksi was glad he had stayed behind with Olli when the others had gone out in the heat for some sight-seeing.

"Trying," he mumbled, not sure if he was supposed to be speaking either.

"Try harder. You're shaking like a leaf on a tree."

Shitshitshitshitshitshit.

"Am not."

"Like a scared little kitty cat." Albeit having his eyes closed, Aleksi knew exactly what kind of smug smile was painted on Olli's lips.

"Am not!"

Olli took the pencil off Aleksi's lids and laughed. Although he was now free to open them again, Aleksi decided to merely listen to the quiet giggles, hoping to get lost in their melody and the memories they contained.

Before he was even given the chance, Olli brought him back to the present in his stupid (or stupidly charming) Olli way by touching the tip of Aleksi's nose.

"Boop! Now the lower lids. Eyes open."

Olli's eyes were already looking straight into his. The light from the window next to the sofa made them look like kaleidoscopes reflecting all the shades of blue that existed in the world: the stormy ocean, the pond by Aleksi's summer place, the cornflowers, the bilberries, the night sky.

Aleksi wondered what Olli saw in his, if anything.

"You ready?" Olli asked, never breaking their eyecontact. Aleksi just nodded.

The hand resting in Aleksi's neck, to which he had gotten so used to know that he was dreading the moment Olli would retreat it, shifted when Olli lifted his other hand back to Aleksi's face. It made Aleksi flinch instinctively.

"Woops! Easy now." Olli's thumb rubbed against Aleksi's neck. Aleksi felt completely helpless.

"Stay still, unless you want this thing in your eye," Olli ordered, placing his hand on Aleksi's cheek.

"Should I look up?"

Please say yes. I can't bear the sight of your bright, adorably focused eyes any longer.

"If you want to. But it works just fine like this too. As long as you don't make any sudden movements."

Aleksi was not in the headspace to be taking responsibility of his own decisions.

Olli took his sweet time colouring under Aleksi's eye, and Aleksi took his own as he counted Olli's eyelashes; his long, beautiful eyelashes Aleksi had always admired, even if he hadn't always understood why.

Olli must have noticed he was staring, for his own gaze kept flickering between Aleksi's eye and his artwork. The confident smile was long gone from his lips, which were not parted instead as he drew the last strokes before moving on to the other eye with no warning.

"Almost finished," Olli said so quietly that Aleksi wasn't sure whether he was talking to Aleksi or himself.

Olli began drawing again, and Aleksi resumed his task of studying his diamond eyes. Time after time, the blue in them found Aleksi's; time after time, they held his gaze for a little longer than the last time. Each time made Aleksi's heart beat faster and his watch tick slower, making Aleksi worry which one would dismantle itself first – and which would be a greater loss in the grand scheme of things.

"Done," Olli suddenly said, his voice more close to a whisper, but instead of letting Aleksi go of his gentle touch, the hand at the back of the neck stayed exactly where it was, the way Olli's face stayed close to Aleksi's, inches away, eyes locked.

They looked at each other, had an entire wordless conversation with their eyes, or at least that's what it felt like to Aleksi when he stared into Olli's; questions left in the air waiting for an answer, answers to be read in between the lines. Realizations. Confessions.

The conversation took another turn when Olli closed his eyes and kissed him.

With their mouths working together, Aleksi didn't wait for Olli's orders. He leaned in without Olli needing to lead him, grasped his neck although he was going nowhere, and when his lungs ran out of air, he parted their lips to gasp some, only to reunite them again a second later.

If Olli's eyes were everything blue in the universe, Olli's lips were all the soft things the Earth held: your bed on a Sunday morning (and just as heavenly), a piece of marshmallow floating on hot chocolate (and just as sweet), a ruby-red rose petal (and just as fragile, somehow). Aleksi couldn't get enough of them, and he let Olli know so.

Familiar voices echoing from behind the backstage door forced them to finally withdraw. Aleksi almost laughed how he was as reluctant about letting go of Olli as he had been about sitting next to him just a few moments ago.

"Well well well, look who's finally come to his senses! Looking damn fine, eyeliner suits you," Joonas smiled upon seeing Olli's work on Aleksi's eyes. "Tommi, you're up next!"

"In your dreams," the man grumbled, earning a choir of giggles erupting in the room.

Realising he was yet to see his new look himself, Aleksi walked to the whole-body mirror resting against the wall in one corner of the room. He hadn't quite yet formed an opinion himself when Olli's face appeared on his shoulder, smiling at him through the mirror.

"It does look great on you."

"If you say so."

Perhaps he could get used to it.

When Aleksi was finished studying his own reflection, his eyes shifted to meet Olli's, whose hand had sneaked to rest on Aleksi's hip.

"Wanna try some eyeshadow next?" Olli winked at him.
