I wanna talk about this panel:

(TW for Discussion of abusive situations and SA, please take care and keep on scrolling if it will negatively effect your day or bring you someplace you don’t want to be.)

Something always struck me as off and I didn’t really know why until I really thought about it; the expression, the horror and almost…disgust? Realization? Despair? There’s a lot going on here, and I couldn’t quite put my finger on why it bothered me so much.

I was having a completely unrelated conversation about BDSM related topics, and I suddenly got it:

Why I think here, specifically at this moment, not the conversation that happens after, is where he realizes just how just, horrible he’s been. And not quite because Wookyung saw what was happened with his “friends”, he had to see it. Quite literally I think he mad to see it from a third person perspective.

I think being a participant allowed him to have some distance, in his mind, from his actions. He could justify them with excuses, “this guy’s just trash”, or “he needs me and through that need can enjoy this.”

But he can’t ignore the reality of the situation when he becomes the third perspective; not the perpetrator or the victim, but as the witness. I think that’s when he finally, and only then, can he actually see (quite literally) what he’s doing and what has happened, and the effect it’s had on Minho. And he can’t romanticize his anguish anymore.

I really do think he meant to take it out on him before he went into the room too, the expression from the panel before looks somewhat similar to some of his traditionally drawn mannerisms are like:

It’s almost like he needs a minute to process what he’s seeing. Then for the next few panels we almost see through his eyes the situation unfolding, following him as he sees them and then, sees Minho (I’d show the panels but that might be a no-no for Tumblr). And then, it hits him, hence we get:

It’s just a small thought I had, but makes looking it over again just a bit more devastating when you really think about how little was regarded for Minho in the situation.

I’m curious to hear some other thoughts on it though, it’s a loaded expression, and can be taken in so many different directions.

I definitely hate it though, that’s for certain. 😒🖕

I also think that’s why we don’t get anymore scenes of the…former flavor afterwards, probably because he can’t bring himself to do it again shortly afterwards (I don’t doubt that it would return to something like it again at some point though).

I don’t even understand what the Jesus one is trying to say. But I don’t think I want to. Im pretty sure whoever made that is susceptible to falling into a cult. Which is fair, since this fandom essentially is one.

“We wants S4 Catra.” First off, I feel like they’re specifically saying S4 bc thats the season most people agree she’s legal. Second, that’s literally Catra ar her worse. Look, I understand liking villains. Im a simp for villain characters. But something tells me the type of person who made that meme doesn’t understand liking a villain and acknowledging they’re a villain. They probably think S4 is the best because she’s ‘Mommy’ or whatever, and would probably defend everything she did in that season and pretend she wasn’t a villain, without realizing S4 Catra (Every Catra really) would literally let someone die for being an inconvenience, try to murder suicide someone to prove a point, send someone to a death prison for saying no, and would essentially rip out someone’s pacemaker for a laugh. Yes, the perfect partner. 😒

“Why can’t Catra be real?” Well… Catra specifically doesn’t. But people like her do. Most of them are war criminals, dictators, politicians, mass murderers, abusers, ableists, rapists, people in positions of power, in jail, the type of person to hit someone for talking back, single for a reason, you get the idea. So, in short whoever is out here simping for Catra hopefully realizes the difference between reality and fiction when having a crush. And if they don’t, they need help. I’m not even getting into the fact about half of these are her as a minor (if not all of them.)

Btw, I’m not saying anyone who relates to Catra is a bad person like what I listed. You can relate to her and not actually be like her. But I think most if the toxic stans who ‘want someone like Catra’ are in it for the wrong reasons. I. E. ‘Mommy-dom Cat-girl UWU Catra’ which is literally just an abuser who has probably murdered a lot of people.

Exactly thank you! There's a disturbing amount of Catra simps and as a pansexual I can confirm I never simped for Catra (Or any fictional character if I'm honest) I mean I guess I could see why someone would due to some people simping for villain characters (For example I know a LARGE amount of the Rick and Morty Fandom want to smash Rick, there's literally an account dedicated to it) but I still don't get it. Whatever.

Also they should be happy that Catra isn't real because Catra would be in prison. Also who wants to be the Catra to my Adora...you mean who wants to be the abuser to my victim? I'm so incredibly distributed by Catra fans

Michael spent most of his life in an asylum so I’m gonna take a shot I’m the dark here and say he’s not the best with technology

He only got a phone from some random victim because he was worried about you when he’s away on kills

FaceTimes are rare and your usually just given a thumbs up emoji and if you don’t respond within 5 hours he’ll come back to the house

And if your not dead your gonna be given a pretty harsh glare for making him cut his kill early

Here’s how I think FaceTiming Michael would look like

(Y/n): hey Michael! :)

Michael: *holding phone up to mask ear*

(Y/n): no Michael it’s a face time…. You hold it up to your face…. Not that close Michael

Michael: *just hangs up out of frustration*

(Y/n): okay…. Well love you too I guess… 😒

Bo Sinclair

Bo is semi okay with technology

He’s definitely a rage quitter if it comes to something he doesn’t understand though

You only really FaceTime when your on a trip to see your friends or family gatherings since Bo refuses to let them visit

And Bo doesn’t really use FaceTime for PG purposes

He only uses it for sex and finds it pointless other than that considering he could just call you normally or text you

But Vincent also uses the phone to FaceTime you considering your his only real friend

Here’s an example of a situation that regularly happens

Vincent: calling you to catch up on Bo’s phone

(Y/n): *fully naked, posing in front of the camera* hey Bo~

Vincent: *traumatised*

(Y/n): OH MY GOD VINCENT, NO, COVER YOUR EYES *hangs up*

Vincent is actually surprising good with technology

He loves to call you

You guys regularly FaceTime because of you having a long distance relationship while you finish up your education in New York

He loves watching you do random things and you actually started helping him to learn sign language so that the two of you can communicate more often

FaceTime with the two of you is actually very wholesome and cute

(Y/n): hello darling, you look sad? Did Bo say something to you again?

Vincent: *nods sadly*

(Y/n): want me to teach you how to call him a little bitch in sign language so he’ll never know what your saying?

Vincent: *rapidly nods*

(Y/n) *chuckles* okay my love :)

Thomas Hewitt

You have to really teach Thomas considering his family sees technology as the absolute work of the devil

So when you finally teach him, he’s a little hesitant

And when you leave for a month trip to your parents to help them with a family emergency, you suggest that you FaceTime each other when he’s missing you, but he refuses

But he cracks in a week after not hearing your voice and calls you

After that your both constantly on FaceTime and at night he has you call him so that he can feel like he’s sleeping next to you again

But you always forget to hang up in the morning and just continue with your morning routine which will be eventually disturbed when you hear Luda May yell at Thomas to get up through the phone, when you turn around and find him watching you change with a blushing face

Here’s an example

(Y/n): *doesn’t realise they’re in a call and begins to get changed with the phone propped up on the dresser*

Thomas: *watching, not knowing what to do*

Luda may: THOMAS GET DOWN HERE AND DO YOUR CHORES

(Y/n): *nearly jumps out their Fucking skin*

Thomas: *looks flustered and surprised*

Asa Emory

There’s not a chance in hell that this man would let you leave the hotel or his home

So the only chances you get to FaceTime is when he’s travelling for work

He’s given you a special phone that can only interact with him for any contact and has blocked off anything that can be used to contact the police

He treats it like a fucking conference call

He’ll prop you up ok his desk and sit as if he’s in a job interview

Asa: *sitting as if he’s on a business call* to what do I owe the pleasure of your call, my love?

(Y/n): *looks Asa up and down*

Asa:… what is it darling?

(Y/n): why do you look constipated?

Jason voorhees

Jason has no idea what to do with a phone

He only got it to check that none of his victims have found your little cabin

He had no idea what FaceTime is and when you try to introduce it to him and teach him about any form of technology, you end up having to leave the room out of frustration

You know it’s not his fault but that doesn’t make you any less annoyed

But his lack of knowledge does mean you get a lot of butt dials

(Y/n): hi honey, why are you calling me?

Jason: *continues to stalk a victim unaware that your on call*

(Y/n): Jason?

Jason: *brutally murders someone while the camera is facing the murder*

(Y/n): *hangs up and tries to forget seeing anything*

Baby firefly

Baby will call you at any point in the day if she’s missing you

Doesn’t matter if it’s the middle of the night of early on the morning

If she thinks of anything interesting to tell you she’ll call

You’ll try not to be annoyed with her but you’ll gently try and explain that long distance doesn’t mean you have to call every day

She’ll never get the hint and just continues to call you whenever she likes

(Y/n): baby?

Baby: sweetie, you’ll never guess what i found out

(Y/n): baby it’s 3am

Baby: and?

(Y/n): ……

Baby:……

(Y/n): *sighs* I love you

Baby: aww I love you too, anyway I found out….

Otis driftwood

Otis was super reluctant to learn about FaceTime

He thought you were treating like a child when you were only trying to gently tell him how to call you when you go on your week long girls trip with baby

He doesn’t own a phone because he said he doesn’t want the government to track him

So he’ll just call you from a random victims phone

This confuses the hell out of you

He loves to prank call you but you always recognise that it’s him

⚠️!!TRAUMA POST!!⚠️

TW: S/A, neglect, mommy issues, trust issues, etc.

(This is really just my last resort to getting all this shit off my chest. Also this will mention my deadname so yeah)

So when I was 8, my mom met this guy named Josh, he was okay. He tried to be like the dad I wish I could’ve had, but one night, he snuck into my room and locked my door. Then he told me I was dreaming and for me to put my face in my pillow, so I did, then I felt my pants going down and something rubbing against my… “tunnel.” I asked him what he was doing and he told me not to worry about it and to keep my face in my pillow, or he’d make me keep it there. I got scared and put my head back in my pillow and he put his hand on my back, gripping my pajamas. After what I could only assume was half an hour or so, he left. I told my mom about it but she didn’t believe me, not only that, but she guilt tripped me into talking about it with him. He started crying and saying stuff like “I’d never do such a thing” and “I see you as my own daughter, Emery” and so on and so forth. My grandma and aunt Lys believed me though, so I’m grateful for that.

The S/A went on for four years (it stopped when I was 11) the last time he did it was when his 5 year old son was visiting. He had him stay in my room while he took me to his and my mom’s room, sitting me in his gaming chair and wrapping my mom’s bandanna around my eyes, he told me we were gonna do a taste testing thing, he said he didn’t have a spoon though so he’d have to use his finger. He told me to get all the peanut butter or whatever it was on his finger off it. It was normal til the last time, he put, what I can only assume, was his dick in my mouth which obviously caused me to choke and pull away. I went to take the bandanna off and he told me to wait, I heard a zipper and then he said I could take it off. He asked if I was okay and I started crying a little and asking “What was that-?” He reassured me that it was just his finger (but I didn’t feel any nail SIR.😒) A few weeks later and he was put in jail for selling edibles at home or something.

After he was put in jail my mom was like “Well, now I hope you’re happy. Now your brother doesn’t have a dad to look up to! Does that seem fair to you, Emery?” As if all he did wasn’t just leaving my little brother in my room to watch TV and leaving me to take care of him while he just sat in his room playing video games. My mom has been a big fear of mine since I was 6, she has rarely been a good mother to me , or to anyone for that matter. Because the moment I was born, she left me to be my grandparents responsibility just so she didn’t have to worry about me. Even now she still expects my trauma to have just *POOF* vanished! As if that’s how it works.

And just a couple hours ago, her and ex boyfriend number 13 (yes, I keep count) got into a pretty heated argument and broke up. And because I’m emotional and a fucking crybaby, I obviously started crying in my closet, so I called my best friend and drew some quote art. But seriously, trauma doesn’t just resolve itself if the problem is away from the victim/victims. It takes time and effort to help the person get better and find a good coping mechanism for it (like therapy, drawing, writing, crocheting, writing, reading, etc.).

If any of you, a friend or a family member have gone through S/A or anything like that I am so, so, so sorry that happened and I hope you’re healing well.

I have some re-imagined redesign symbolism things like

Valentino is a Centipede because he hurt people feeling psychically and physically and he died from prepared centipede by this victim(don't worry that victim is in heaven!) thoughts after i saw black panther wakanda forever again.

firstly queen ramonda’s muscles in this movie were crazy 😭 i don’t even think i noticed it the first time. all of the women in the dora looked strong as hell and beautiful i’m obsessed. since we’ve introduced ironheart and we’re supposed to be getting a tv show(?) i hope happy and her get involved and it would be hilarious if she becomes friends with peter and mj but mj has no idea who peter is but riri does(and she’s the only one who does).

the fight scenes in this movie are so good, like some of the best in the mcu, there’s less cuts and the use of slowmo especially in scenes with the water makes them so gorgeous.

the black and gold in shuri’s black panther suit represents her brother and tradition and the vengeance of her cousin n’jadaka.

why does m’baku challenge for the thrown? with him in this movie it feels off for him to do it for selfish reasons maybe shuri asked him too.

i know the romance plot was scrapped because of test audiences but to me(this is MY OPINION 😒) the romance would have made their ultimate rift so much weightier. what if they had at the end of her tour simply had namor tell her they were more alike than anyone else he had ever encountered and asked for her hand BEFORE asking her to burn the world or if he asked for her hand in order for the scientist to be returned and she said yes. to then be drawn out of the water and have his people killed so he turns around and kills her mother and the final fight hits so much harder.

shuri not only doesn’t kill him because of his people but because some part of her does love him. this is not me negating the relationship they already have, it’s beautiful whether they ever are romantically involved or not i just think it would enhance the story.

also it’s been bothering me but shuri is not 19 and i keep seeing people say she is. she was 19 before the blip friends 😭 in universe it’s been 6 years since the first black panther.

another thing that bothers me is people fully missing the point of the talokanil as antagonists. yes they are the villains of the movie but they are not. VILLAINS. their goal is the same as the wakandans. to protect their home. over the years this goal has been warped by grief and anger and it’s completely understandable. people who look like them have been enslaved and beaten and killed and the surface countries have made it very clear they desire vibranium to control the world. not to help it. hate him if you want but namor is right. the world will turn on wakanda and the only ally they have is talokan.

The core of this movie and honestly black panther as a series is the way black people and other poc are so focused on hating one another, a hatred that was taught to divide us when killmonger, and t’challa, and namor, and shuri, are not enemies. they are victims namor and killmonger understood that better than t’challa and shuri because they’d seen first hand how the world treats people who look like them. Now obviously they could have gone about it another way, a better way but don’t misconstrue that to mean killmonger OR namor were wrong, they weren’t.

i’m very excited about phase 5 moving forward and i can’t wait to see these characters again even though I know it’ll be awhile. shuri will probably be in the next avengers and i have no idea when namor will be back. i hope we get this movie on streaming soon so i can analyze it more closely

I cannot stop laughing at this take, and I’ve screenshot some of their paragraphs!

So, 5yr old Shouto stomping his feet, crying and thumping his fists up & down while trying to defend his mother a literal child is getting violent? Even though he never physically attacked his father, and even then he was doing it in an act of defence hardly physical abuse!

So Shouto’s the abuser now 🤨 how ridiculous! Somehow Shouto acknowledging his negative actions still as a minor is a little too late 😂🤣 :

This is crazy:

Rei scarring Shouto was one of his most traumatic events during his childhood, and it’s understandable he had worries of visiting her. She poured boiling water on his face, and he had walked in on her saying she couldn’t raise him anymore due to his father’s abuse. Also I’m sorry what?! Enji’s done more for Rei’s recovery? Enji sending more letters? 😂🤣 please Shouto was the one who started seeing Rei again first(well Fuyumi and Natsuo probably are but still), and spent his time writing letters to his mother. Shouto has done a lot for his mother, and Enji only started when he started his atonement arc….which was after Shouto started to see his mother again!

Oh also some of the post sounds very victim blamey, and like they’re trying so hard to make it “uwu poor endeavor”-ish! “He goes out of his way to glare at Enji.” 😂🤣 oh poor Enji how will he survive the glare of his son! Also the “he doesn’t protest at 5yrs old, doesn’t protest at 6yrs old, doesn’t protest at 8yrs old” in concern of Enji abusive training much to aggressive for a young child is absolutely ridiculous 🤦‍♀️ for many reasons but one of them is the literal power dynamics there is against Shouto you know? As he was a literal child up against a full grown man.

idea for a story: sigh. let’s see what’s in my mind palace… I do kind of want to write him entering subspace for the first time for real but i can’t quite figure out in what capacity… wonder if lestat should be a professional dom. it would be kinda funny to write mob wife Louis or something where lestat takes over the du lac territory and Louis along with it, maybe lestat kills Louis’ dad in turf war or something idk I’ve never been interested in mob au but that would be interesting for loustat. or unfeminist omegaverse where lestat forces Louis to present as omega. 😥

unpopular opinion: i don’t believe that he was a bad parent to Claudia. I think that he was a long term abuse victim (from one household to another) that struggled deeply but so many traumatic moments are catalyzed by him trying to protect Claudia or him going along with what will make Claudia happier even when he’s miserable about it. The only time that I think he was selfish was taking back lestat in e6 and even then i think there’s serious lack of empathy and continued victim blaming from fandom as if Daniel’s victim blaming is law. I think Claudia can be as resentful and angry towards Louis as she wants because the child’s feelings are always more important and she doesn’t need to have the big picture precisely bc that is her father, but as viewers we do have the big picture and we do need to take everything into account and I’m continually shocked and disgusted at the lack of critical thought and empathy shown towards him. even book lewis seems to receive little empathy for his trauma responses so i do think victim blaming and Louis being the second every male victim of misogyny are the issues here 🫤 but perhaps this empathy would require acknowledgement that abused ppl can and do still love their abusers, whether familial or romantic, and that this is not a personal failing on their part, and i think we’re very far off from that. maybe when we abolish patriarchy I guess

favorite relationship: lestat/louis and then his relationship with claudia and then his relationship with his family. Yes these are all tragic and depressing

favorite head canon: i don’t have headcanons i have facts. my favorite hc used to be that he’s Haitian then i read the pilot script and he is. i used to joke that he’s canon bottom then Anne rices gay son who is a producer for the show said he’s canon bottom. maybe rolin will get him pregnant next idk 🤷🏾‍♀️ ok all jokes aside (i wasn’t joking) maybeeeeeee that he is shondaland fan. Unfortunately. Ok can i be honest i want to say that he’s a size queen and only wants to get fucked raw and creampied and that even though we joke a lot about lestat being the evil one who would never use a condom that Louis is exactly as evil. If lestat ever listened to him when he says they should use a condom he’d be like Actually I’m not in the mood 😒 or he pokes a hole in the condom. Tbh Louis wouldn’t even have condoms in his house. Mitch doesn’t have much lore to him in all honesty

Just the dude that got terrorized by eyeless Jack (nawt Jack Nyras whatever the fuck La mishi mishi named their twink ass version of EJ)

But like. . . Maybe it’s just me being an EJ irl or just how much Mitchell fascinates me for no reason at all, hands down one of my favorite “background” CRP characters to a popular/mainstream one.

To sum up the eyeless Jack story told in Mitch’s point of view

Actual thing —>

In the original story, a man named Mitch moves in with his brother Edwin after his house is foreclosed. A week later, Mitch wakes up with a large gash on his cheek. After going to the hospital, the doctor reveals that Mitch's left kidney had been surgically removed overnight. Around midnight that night, Mitch wakes to see Eyeless Jack over his bed, wearing a blue mask with black liquid dripping from empty eye sockets behind the mask.

Mitch manages to grab his camera and take a picture before Jack attacks, clawing at his chest. Mitch escapes and flees into the woods, where he trips and is knocked unconscious. When Mitch awakens in the hospital, it is revealed to him that Edwin had been killed the previous night. His parents drive him to the house to collect his belongings. When he enters, Mitch sees Edwin's corpse and a small object lying next to it. He observes it find that it is his kidney with a bite taken out of it, covered in a black substance.

I guess I really like the fact that unlike other victims of different EJ stories (or just any slasher / CRP story) Mitch isn’t a complete dumbass and he fights and flights against EJ. Whether EJ psychologically tortured Mitch (as some alternate versions go) or not idrc I still find him so silly. . . AND HE DOESNT DIE ?? WOO HOO YOU GO BITCH QUEEN !!!!!

The media of Mitch that is out there indicates the man has either blonde or black hair , blue eyes , and pale skin.

My guy is most definitely in his 20’s (assuming he is mid - late 20’s) and while not having a canonical full name (that I know of) I’ve seen multiple sources saying it’s Mitch(ell) Harlan’s / start w a H?? Idk. EJ’s story is left to be a mysterious one that is easily bended to fit anybody’s creative imaginary. That goes the same way for Mitch as well.

I ALSO SEE ALOT OF PEOPLE SAY THAT MITCH IS EYELESS JACK WHICH I FIND VERY VERY COOL

if EJ doesn’t kill its victims, or they manage to escape, they fall under a certain illness that basically mutilates their appearances. ( not canon at all plz I just wanted to mention this )

There is this sooper dooped cool artist on toyhouse, and while their eyeless Jack isn’t the victim (aka Mitch) and just happened 2 have the same night I still I love their interpretation of EJ.

Also I know people might say when they did loucha’s quest they didn’t really find anything fulfilling but me personally I think that this gave us insight into that he isn’t really a bad guy per-say me personally I feel like he is more of a grey character but we don’t really know much about him yet

But a lot of people (march 😒) judged him but welt had every reason to judge this man because of what happened in HI3 and I can understand having his suspicions because of the messed up stuff he did.

The reason why I’m giving march the side eye 😒 is because she was soo quick to be impatient and snappy and it kind of annoyed me because of how quick to anger was too rash and wanted to hurry up the process of the case she got which was irritating not to mention she hates negotiating which is a very key in every transaction and if you want something you’ll have to sometimes charm someone for the right price that or to charm the person your getting information from for example, sampo.

How else do you think do you think he’s able to so easily charm his way into his victim’s hearts and scam them out of their money? He gets patient and waits for the right moment to strike I just get frustrated with march because these are things that your supposed to get used to and if you want something you have to work hard for it even if it’s tiring eventually you’ll get the results you wanted

Talking bout some “oh because we need this information” proceeds to have npc scam her out of her money. 😒 do get me wrong I love march 7th but she irritates me sometimes

I mean yeah that's pretty on brand from March considering how she treats Sampo 😅

I'm more surprised that the Realm-Keeping Commission just watched her do that whole roleplay thing without even going like "Yeah maybe this wasn't the best idea to ask complete strangers who are... very eccentric"

But I'm guessing they had to add more filler so that the ""plot"" could plot ;w;

And yes I'm aware the quest is meant to be like- A buffer to mitigate those "Luocha is Otto so he's a bad guy!!" ideas but I feel that this... was still not the best way to do it.

We only learn that he's not such a bad guy until the very end when it's revealed this whole goose chase was practically for nothing since all he did was save some two guys and gave them a prescription, then stopped people from getting spoiled.

People say that the companion quest is like this because MC hasn't met Luocha but... then they meet him on the Express after his quest bc Dan Heng apparently invited him there...

We also had a companion quest for a character we haven't officially met before and that was Silver Wolf. I'm pretty sure MC has only seen Kafka at the beginning before Kafka handed them over to the Express. You can also argue that she's possibly a bad guy since she's wanted criminal by the IPC for 5 billion credits.

Despite Silver Wolf not having as much screentime as the other characters in the quest, we still learn a pretty important part of her character. We get to see her motivations and what drives her actions. Even though the Stellaron Hunters' story isn't complete yet either. Plus we get valuable lore about her homeworld "Punklorde", which was very interesting to me.

But I digress. Ultimately, I'm speaking from my perspective as a writer. I have my own standards for what makes good character writing but people can have equally valid ideas for what they believe is good character writing as well. The fun of art is that it's subjective and everyone has a different interpretation.

Hey witch hey; I’m very very confused about Aemond this far. Maybe my comments aren’t making sense, but this also seems to be a sharp character decline compared to how he was even in chapter 32????? Can you explain the development?

Oh hey!

Did you mean chapter 32 or 52? Cause a lot has happened until this moment ! Aemond is a super complex person and definitely isn’t one dimensional.

Aemond has finally married the girl he’s always dreamed of, and he thought she would come willingly and be good. Obviously not the reader at all!

On top of this, war changes people like how it changed the reader. It’s made Aemond even more ruthless and cruel than he already was.

The reader killed his brother, even if she didn’t know he was there, but Aemond has anger towards her because of that.

He’s always been a sick motherfucker though, like Aemond went in a fit of rage and slaughtered the entirety of House Strong in Harrenhal, (with the exception of Joffrey, Jace, Alys Rivers and Larys Strong), piling their heads up into a tower 3 feet tall!

He’s always been a cunt 😭 but he’s just so hot right ??? 🤤🤤🤤

It also doesn’t help that Aegon is goading him and questioning his manhood and the reader only pushes his buttons further!

It’s a dark!fic so this side was always there to begin with, we saw peaks with how he snuck into her chambers and enjoyed seeing her bleed, how he taunted her and her brother in the sky and killed Lucerys and how he still brings it up because he enjoys it.

It’s just now, the reader can’t leave, and he knows this!

Aemonds cruelty has just been fully (although…😒) unveiled, because previously we had not spent too much time with him, and now with the war and his sister killing herself and brother and nephew/potential child being murdered he’s like fuck it, sicko mode.

I’m also going off of Aemond from the book as well as the show, cause damn if you have read the book??? That man is FUCKED UP. The show definitely made him a victim that he wasn’t, but I kind of like the sulky little baby lol

It hilarious how team black is made out to be heroes, when really they celebrate the murder of a six-year old child. Honestly, I’m looking forward to when the riverlands are panicking because Aemond going after them, and Rhaenyra isn’t a nice person and neither is Daemon.

Yeah I think the show definitely missed the mark on it not being a battle between good and evil but a really disastrous war between two factions of the same family.

Blood and cheese was honestly a heinous crime, even by the standards of the time. All of the victims were noble non-combatants and there were supposed to be chivalric codes and societal norms which wouldn't allow such an attack.

I think I love the Tullys too much to be able to happy with them being attacked 😂 and I'm also like really bad at dealing with like violence so I'm sure I'll be watching it from between my fingers but I'm glad you and Aemond will have fun destroying the Riverlands! That poor region really does get the short end of the stick in all the wars don't they 😬

It'll be interesting to see how they deal with the battle of the burning mill and the whole Brackens vs Blackwoods rivalry. I doubt they'll go into it in much detail (and will probably default to evil greens and heroic blacks 😒) but there's a nice parallel that could be drawn about the futility of fighting for the sake of it and how that can destroy families for generations.

Oh Rhaenyra and Daemon are definitely not nice people and if they kept that aspect of Rhaenyra it would have been so much better. As it is, her actions don't really line up to the personality they are trying to sell for her. They could have done some really interesting things with her.

And to be fair, I don't particularly think Alicent is a nice person. She's a very complicated person who does good things and bad things and has been placed into awful circumstances and has done the best with what she has. But I don't think I'd call her nice.

Sorry this has literally gotten so long and I think it was 90% me rambling!
