It' a little windy here today and I never know what my powers gonna do when it gets like this so I bring a little more of my panic inducing buddie 5+1 that I'm vibing with before anything happens.

He stands in his bedroom and holds Chris’ phone and starts to think what his Abuela might tell him, “it’s only natural Edmundo," her voice echoes in his mind, "your father, you know he was talking to all the girls at Christopher’s age.” Not exactly the comforting words he wants to hear right now.  Okay Diaz, it’s fine don’t freak out, he tells himself. As much as he doesn’t want to admit it, his Abuela would be right. It is only natural and a part of growing up.  But he can’t help it, his chest tightens and all the moisture evaporates from his mouth. The bare walls blur as they start to spin around him. His little boy, his son, his reason for going on, is growing up and he doesn’t know how to handle it. One day he’s not going to need him anymore.
