Pro-gamer!Gojo, Geto, Sukuna, and Toji
Writing this on my phone because life been putting me thru a meat grinder and i dont have the time to write an actual fic so i'mma ramble about the fic i been writing in my head when i dissociated
Imagine e-sport AU JJK
Youre a girl that's joining a 5 members first person shooter esport team call Curse Technique (CTQ) cuz women respresantation in esport fucking damn it
Your teammates are Gojo (Sixeyes), Geto (spiriteater), Sukuna (malevolent), and Toji (topji)
Theyre all streamers turn pro-gamers and are the most cocky bastard alive. The have never lose a single tournament ever since the game launched.
They got scouted by CTQ organizations from their stream when the game first launch
They fight each other for the second position on the leader board.
Note how i say second
Because someone with the in-game name KandyCat have the top position. Undefeated. Many have tried. But they cant even come close to thag ranking score
And goddamn did the 4 of them tried. They did a 1 week subathon with the sole purpose of tryna take the number 1 spot. They got their ass handed to them by said KandyCat in their solo rank games. So they temporarily gave up.
They always curios who this KandyCat is tho, becaude they are not a streamer, there are nothing about them on the internet beside the fact that theyre number one on the game leaderboard.
Over times, their curiosity and completitiveness against KandyCat before some sort of admiration and obsession. They really want to know who this person is and learn from them.
Now let's talk about when the team manager introduced you to them.
They thought you were their new assistant. They were expecting their last teamate would be another well known streamer or pro-player
The disbelief on their face when your manager said "this is y/n, she's your 5th member and also will be your in-game leader"
You almost let out a snicker
They threw a tantrum. That's for sure. Not cuz youre a girl. It's cuz theyre prideful as fuck
They cant fathom how a literal no body, someone they never heard of before, be their leader?!? Theyre literally the top 5 players of the game. Impossible. No. If leader is one of them, the rest will be bitter but they still relinquish. But their leader is someone they have never heard of before??? They wont stand for this
No. They refused "she can be our leader if she can beat all 4 of us in 1v1s" sukuna scoff and for the first time theyre all in agreement about something.
"Sure!" You said "let's make it more fun by placing a bet, whoever win get a wish from the loser"

They were all so confident. Already thinking of what their wish gonna be.

For the first time in their career they went negative on their Kill Death ratio. It was tragic. You were abusing mechanic they have never seen before. Taking angle they didnt know exist. Shooting through wall they didnt know were made out of paper.

"KANDYCAT?!" Gojo shouted cutting nanami off once again.

Poor men.... theyre going thru so many shocking things in one day. It's like their word just got turned upside down.
Honestly, i havent thoughts about it after this but it would be fun to be like a choose your own adventure fic. Where they all fell head over heel for you over the course of the competitive season.

The sweet voice demon. We know that vox like playing horror games, and he also likes spending time with you! So why not combined them together?
Vox LOVES spending time with you, either cooking, cuddling or just laying around.
You two were quite bored and had nothing to do, when vox suddenly got an idea.
"Dearest? I have a suggestion."
"oh? What is it Vox?"
"You said the other day that you wanted to learn how to play FNAF? Right?"
"ah yes, why is that?"
Why don't I teach you now? Since both have us have a lot of free time."
You agreed and so the (pain and suffering) game begun!
Both of you went to his set up and started laying the game, he was teaching you how to do play (such a gentleman) but ofc it's not Vox Akuma without the teasing.
So be prepared cause this man would tease you over the littlest thing. When a jumpscare suddenly happened and you screamed on the top of your lungs, hu just laughed at you while you were panicking.(ofc he still helped you by giving some hints.)
While yes he is a tease and you screaming your lungs out may not be the best, both of you still had great time. I'd say that's a great way to spend time with someone: 8/10

Ah the sweet novelist, Ike ofc is very familiar with horror games he plays them(ofc his a stream for fucks sake) you knew this.
Ike love spending with you, you also love that. So here you are trying out the new horror game that you suggested both of you play.
You were sitting on his lap as both of you try to clear a certain level. Let's see how this plays:

It took guys about 5 and 1/2 hours to finally finish the game because both of you keep losing all of your life.
Super load but fun as you both rest in your bed chilling around like both of you were not screaming like your being murdered- :10/10 very beautiful chaos.

(yes its just called that. no there is no actual romance, the word eobarry is here only so i dont have to write 'barry and eobard' all the time im talking about them. some things are very close to that tho but thats just the way it always is with thawne.)
the core idea: eobard is still a flash fan from the 25th century with a huge crush but he never wanted to be a hero like barry. he always wanted to go back in time and become flash's archnemesis instead, so there is no rejection abandonment and disappointment drama at all. not a single trace of canon hatred, thawne just wants to have some good time with his favorite hero in a weird way. barry, on the other hand, has no idea what the fuck is even going on. the vibe is most reminiscent of silver age eobarry. their dynamic:

right after barry, utterly confused and shocked, averts the situation thawne caused, he goes 'WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL WAS THAT?? DIDNT YOU JUST SAY YOU WERE MY FAN??' which thawne answers with 'wow. you really thought i was one of these boring "my favourite person of all time inspired me to become a hero like them" rip-offs with no imagination, didnt you? tsk tsk, i am so disappointed'
secrecy of their identities to each other isnt a thing since the very first fight. 'by the way, my name is eobard thawne! and i know you're barry allen, i actually know most of the 21st century heroes' identities but i promise you can trust me with that!'. indeed, he doesnt reveal this to anyone or threaten to do so but trust isnt exactly the right word either as thawne fucking loves visiting barry while they're both in their civil clothes at times + itwasmebarry still becomes a thing (elaborated on further below).
thawne is faster than barry here from the very beginning on pure theory and little to no speedster experience but only because barry just desperatly tries to process all the information he recieves from thawne every time they fight along with handling whatever endangering civilians shit eo does and he isnt doing well. at all. like, it does require a lot of hard effort not to lose your mind while constantly being hit with stuff like 'OOOHH DID I MENTION THAT I WORK AS THE CURATOR OF THE FLASH MUSEUM IN THE 25TH CENTURY?!? BTW WE STUDY YOUR HISTORY IN SCHOOL IN COMICS FORM, ISNT THAT AMAZING?!!'
thawne never shuts up. thawne genuinely enjoys the whole thing and admires barry an impossible amount and he's always fascinated by every aspect of the speed force, especially seeing and using it in action. thawne never acts like a normal villain as in 'commit crime->run away/fight the hero/watch the chaos'. he does something that endangeres people's lives (ALWAYS in front of barry because that is the whole point) then runs alongside barry as he saves everyone, never initiating the fight and ENDLESSLY commenting on everything barry does with consideration of flash facts, speed force and other physics stuff and even barry's personal background. it always goes like 'must do this and this to get everyone to safety!-' and thawne, instantly from somwhere behind barry's left shoulder: 'YES you DO, because this this and this and of course you could try that but-' and it goes on for 5 minutes on superspeed at the very least. from a non-speedster perspective, it looks like two blurs with lightnings, red and yellow, are saving people and going with some kind of weird squeaking high-pitched sound, which is never there if there is only flash around.
by the way, the rule that it is Very important for thawne to touch barry at any given chance and prolong it by going faster than him is still present. the same goes for becoming a speedster partially to have an opportunity to get away from 25th century and its mildly or not so dystopian shit and boringness. doesnt really realize the first part tho, sometimes casually drops some crazy ass facts about his future as something totally normal (like that one good-bad detection chair from silver age that gets a cameo in rs) and gets confused when the reaction is something like '.....i am so sorry.'
THE SAME ALSO GOES FOR 'IT WAS ME BARRY', its just way more lighthearted and has the purpose only of annoying and messing with barry through slight inconveniences in his life and it is a whole another part of their enemyship outside of the usual tag games. examples: 1. barry in his lab, extremely tired and almost exhausted, stumbles on air, says 'dammit eobard, this again??'. thawne unphases nearby with an offended look, goes 'HEY. THAT WASNT ME.', demonstratively pushes barry's mug with coffee off the table like a cat, 'now this was me, barry', grins and runs off before barry can do anything; 2. imagine thawne's excitement when he plays chess in iron heights, looks away, notices yellow lightnings with the corner of his eye and turns to the board again only to find that his queen is gone. the very next encounter starts with thawne running around barry in circles like 'it was you. it was you. IT WAS YOU! ITWASYOUWASNTIT!!'
this thawne is incapable of murdering anyone close to barry or ever hurt him at all. the best he can do is threaten anyone's life in barry's sight (and he knows barry will save everyone. more, he never arranges the events with the chance of barry not being fast enough to save every single life threatened so it isnt a big deal) because in other case he just wont come out to play with him :( ((i dont think thawne's generally capable of murder here? he feels too silly for that to me))
following important things: 1. barry obviously never killed thawne because he never did anything that extreme. 2. nora allen is alive and well and probably met thawne personally. he visits her in his civil clothes and acts in the nicest way possible, barry hears about the mysterious friend from work he never mentioned later and chokes on tea as nora recalls 'what did he say his name was? edward taurine?' 3. BARRY'S DOG IS STILL DEAD THO but it actually was an accident. he still blames himself for not shutting the back door that day in the way he blames himself for the not emotional enough postcard for his grandma in dc superhero girls. (see also: this vid but its about the dog instead of nora) ((ALSO thawne is most likely actively empathetic about it because he cant stand seeing barry sad or hurt. unfortunately he is also actively neurodivergent so that turns out to be awkward))
they team up often but barry is never aware of that as it happens out of his control. thawne has every single event that threatened barry marked in his calendar and an alarm set for it and he just shows up there like 'fuck you, this is MY archnemesis/idol/inspiration and nobody is going to fucking hurt him'
barry is generally always in the state of confusion when it comes to thawne. he doesnt understand what's going on like 80% of the time. as thawne never gets any clearer to him, barry just accepts that this, at some point, is now a part of his life.
instead of love letters, thawne writes and sends barry personally discovered speed force equations like 'look!! this is how it all works there!!' and occasionally mentions other science things discovered after 21st century. barry reads all that, understands and sometimes uses those against thawne who is completely delighted by that.
one day thawne manages to lock barry up in anti-meta cell and spends the following 3 hours on MATHEMATICALLY PROVING THE EXISTENCE OF THE SPEEDFORCE TO HIM STEP BY STEP, reciting his dissertation verbatim which was written in the context of no one knowing and caring about the concept.
thawne participates in the legion of doom and other supercriminal associations out of 'is flash gonna be there?? whatever youre planning im in, just leave him to me and me alone'. probably doesnt even listen to the scheme details and learns about it directly from barry in the final fight when he asks him 'eobard?? what?? the?? fuck?? why are you participating in something that's ultimate goal is DESTROYING THE FUTURE??'. (or others just stopped telling him the details, OR he doesnt listen on purpose after that one time he edited the whole plan like 'oh cmon do you actually think you could succeed with THIS?? let me show you how its actually done' only for them to lose epically. whats worse is that thawne saw it as something obvious. 'wait you really thought it would work?? cmon the whole point of being a supervillain is that the good guys always stop you no matter what you come up with.' they naturally never let him speak on the plans again which he responded with 'WHATEVER. YOU DO YOU IG. NOT GONNA INTERFERE AGAIN :/') unironically protects barry in group fights if any other villain is trying to aid him against the flash and attacks his own allies for that (barry once uses that to his advantage to take out the whole legion one by one lmfao. thawne genuinely doesnt notice that he is the only one standing until barry mentions it. he takes a moment to look around and that's when barry takes him out, too). as you can figure, he doesnt get invited into villain associations often, and if he does its usually the last resort bc he is a Genius Even By Future's Standards and therefore one of the most competent scientists out there.
nobody wants to sit at the same table with thawne in iron heights or interact at all because he instantly starts infodumping about the flash and their relationship. you accidentally get closer than like 2m to him and after a few seconds he just goes 'me and flash are best enemies, you know? we even always wear matching suits, oh and did you know-'
thawne gets mad if you compare his suit with kid flash because his suit has a Deep Idea and acktually he got to 21st century before wally was also struck by lightning and therefore was here first (yep, he did that on purpose and it gets revealed the very same moment he mentions it)
speaking of kid flash. thawne argues with him at any given chance because fighting a literal child on who is the biggest flash fan is something he would do on a daily basis. it just feels right (and it shouldve happened in canon at this point at least once. fucking Come On dc. almost 60 years of thawne's existence and for what!!). his points are that: he is the flash's Equal (even in height. thawne is very fucking proud of that fact) and not a pathetic sidekick; he got powers after years of hard scientific work and not by coming to barry's lab at the right moment; he is an Expert, a Professor, a Curator of the flash museum and knows everything about flashes, including the things they dont know themselves yet (he accidentally reveals that wally is also gonna be the flash but is quick to claim that he was the slowest and dumbest of them all and actually fuck you ima erase that from the timeline later), 'therefore l + ratio + IM his biggest fan and there is nothing you can do about it' 'lmaoooo who the heck taught you these words?? dude you sound so cringe. like do you even know what ratio means??' '*thinking it's just a figure of speech from 21st century literature classics or something like that for his whole life* well i- h- wh- DONT CHANGE THE SUBJECT.' wally doesnt care at all and just trolls him, harshly at times. he doesnt take thawne even a little bit seriously, which eo tragically doesnt realize.
thawne's comedically jealous of barry to iris between the lines and is completely unaware of that. the same thing going on with the rogues about emenyship with barry but that one is direct and on purpose. probably fucking jumps in their fights with flash like 'hi i just took out cap cold for you no need to thank me <3 now, can WE dance?? :|' every now and then. probably it gets super awkward when they inevitably end up in iron heights together that same day. honestly i think every supervillain who met thawne wants to kill him at this point. he's extremely annoying, both on purpose and not
thawne finds and starts nitpicking the first curators and architects of the flash museum in 21st century from the very project stage like 'NO it should stand THE OTHER WAY everyone shut up im from the future i Know Better'. it continues right until barry comes to pick him up and apologise for the inconvenience. 'eobard, i know this place means... a lot to you but please let history run its course. i mean, arent you risking your whole existence by trying to make these changes?' 'BUT THEY'RE DOING IT WRONG >:('
CANONICALLY ALMOST DROWNS 3M AWAY FROM A BRIDGE WHILE TRYING TO RUN ON WATER WITHOUT KNOWING HOW TO DO THAT YET OR AT LEAST HOW TO SWIM. every time barry mentions that incident thawne blushes like hell out of shame. imagine being saved from the lake by your crush/nemesis/everything who is actually Worried that you almost drowned out of your own stupidity which kind of covers the cringefail at first so youre enjoying the Moment but then you hear 'why did you even decide to run across the lake, there was a bridge nearby?'. thawne BEGS barry not to tell anyone (and especially wally). that probably was the first time thawne actually stayed in iron heights for longer than half an hour without getting out the very second everyone looks away on barry's condition of secrecy. now, the funniest part? if thawne hadnt shown that it was cringe even to him, barry wouldnt even say a single thing any further. to him it was a usual impossible to grasp shit thawne does every single encounter.
thawne considers heroes and their morals objectively dumb but his thoughts on barry having the same mindset are 'god he is SO adorably naive. so pure. so innocent. havent done anything wrong in his life. sweetest cinnamon roll of all times'. occasionally tells him that out loud because he has no fucking shame except when it comes to the lake incident
his own set of morals is just 'be gay do crime' where be gay stands for teaming up with barry on practically everything that isnt their one on one fights.
following: other villains are dumb to him as well. sometimes complains to barry about how nobody Understands him and his superior taste in being a supervillain, especially in the legion. poor barry just tries to get some rest between work and superheroing and then thawne casually comes running out of fucking nowhere, lies down on his lap and starts venting about how barry is the only one that Gets him on superspeed.

Oh yeah, I've been seeing a lot more posts and questions about the arcana's modern au, and it's why I was so happy to dig up all those old ask arcana posts! I'm so glad we have all that canon content from way back when, it was so sad that I could only put ten images in one post T~T
And Muriel definitely lives off the grid - I also remember another ask arcana that said in modern times he'd wear a cable knit sweater on top and leather pants and demonias on bottom and that works so well for him XD

now I am thinking, Kokichi pestering Hajime about his relationships all the time from the moment of his naegirigami realization, he sees his dad talk to someone or takes a liking to an adult that's babysitting him and he's immediately interrogating Hajime, Do you like them? Do you think they're pretty? Are they going to come over more often? Can they be my mom? Can Mikan be my mom since we have the same hair? Is Chiaki my mom? Can I have another dad? Why don't you marry Nagito? He also asks existing couples on Jabberwock if they'll adopt them into their family, and says Hajime owes him some siblings because he's no fun and a child needs someone to play with them and he whines so much when Hajime keeps telling him no, why doesn't his dad understand that he's making him lose a very important competition against Shuichi? Ah, one-sided rivalries are fun, and they're probably forced to spend a lot of the time together from early on, I don't know the details of what you planned for them, but I'd bet Shu was one of, if not The first kid his age Kokichi meets, because I don't think other RoDs had children during their despair arcs or immediately after, so it's a special kind of a relationship, when Shuichi's away he's scheming all the ways he could defeat his nemesis and drawing epic fights they could have and thinking up special pranks for when he visits again and he doesn't understand why all those adults are smiling at him and calling Shuichi his friend, they're enemies for life!

Kokichi is, however, a little older than other kids in his age group (aside from Rantaro and Kaede who are in the same boat) because he was born pre-sdr2 whereas others were born somewhat after sdr2
(small mini tangent explanation, I extended the time between dr1 and sdr2 in this au so for reference, Kokichi was born around the same time Shuichi was born)
Shu was very much the first kid his age that Kokichi met since Kokichi actually got to Jabberwock maybe a week or two after they all woke up from the NWP whereas all the other kiddos came around after they got their friends un-coma-ed (including Rantaro, its like iron golems in Minecraft he can only spawn once there are enough people around)
The thought of Kokichi trying some Parent Trap level shenanigans JUST TO ONE UP SHUICHI is simultaneously hilarious and so so so so so so so depressing
I do think the (one-sided) rivalry calms down a bit and turns into "ok actually maybe possibly we can be friends" but not until after The Horrors (aka a little after they stars high school at NHPA)
I am a komahina enjoyer so I will say that Kokichi gets a second dad eventually but it takes like 10 years of slowburn
(He still gets Komaeda as a dad figure tho since he's Kokichi's dedicated "Babysitter")

Mission; scarlet stars fantasy au (working on finding a name)
-Prologue; kayl-
Notes before story; i dont write multi chapter fics often. And character behaviors might not be 100% accurate to those when the full game comes out(relying on the demo rn), but im having fun! Also, since its still small, MSS was originally created by my buddy, boris! As an instaronpa. Now its becoming a full on game and hes directing it, alongside one other persob and a team. Id give the demo a try! Its on itch.io(? I think thats what its called).
Promotion aside, ive never written a huge fantasy stoey before. Mostly vampires n dragons. Ive been having fun with this though! I get to write and design fantasy appearances for the characters. (Still fighting the urge to give bear-taur mezsha a bear nose...).
Also, while i created a few ocs for this au, Ivernake is not one. Hes from the original mss!! (Not in the demo tho).
Cordelia and casper are two of said ocs. Others that might show up are; atlas, caspian, athena(named after the greek god), and a few unnamed dragon ocs.
Also i hope i wrote this right im not great at writing in the perspective of characters who are meant to be the big bads of the story. And i hope the hunters are written at least okay. I have covid rn and i havent been able to do anything othwr than write and overthink and im overthinking rn lol. Im trying. Not beta read really.
“Captain!,” A heavily scarred man shouted, holding onto a net and heaving it onboard, “We got one of them fish beasts!”
Kayl walked down the stairs very slowly, gripping the hand rail and walking to the flailing mermaid cautiously. “Get some water, now. We need them alive.” He ordered as he squatted down in front of them.
The crewmate scrambled away to grab a bucket, leaving Kayl to talk to the so-called beast.
“Oi,” he started, “What’s your name.”
The mermaid met his gaze, yellow eyes glinting in fear as they trembled. “...Cordelia.”
The red-head glanced over his shoulder as the crewmate returned. The bucket had droplets of water dribbling down the side, causing the mermaid’s eyes to widen in desperation. She reached her hand out and caught a droplet in her palm, sighing with relief and struggling to catch more.
“Cordelia. I have a deal for you,” Kayl said roughly, knocking on the deck to get her attention, “if you tell me where to find harpies and avians, I’ll set you free.”
The bluenette mermaid looked hesitant for a few seconds before she nodded. “Okay. There’s a a flock of harpies north of here. You’ll know you’re close to them when you pass a large oak.”
Kayl nodded, grabbing the bucket from his crewmate and splashing some water onto Cordelia. “One more thing before i let you out of the net, do you know if any of those birdies is in contact with a mage?”
Cordelia wrinkled her nose at that, slapping her tail on the deck in frustration. “I don’t. Please, let me free now.”
Kayl stood up with a sigh, waving his head. “Well, i am a man of my word… Casper, undo the net and toss the fish overboard. There’s one more of these beasts that I must talk to.”

The creature had been on the ship for days, refusing to address the crewmates or the captain. They had been starved, dehydrated, even threatened. But they refused to speak. Kayl was sure it’d change today.
“Moth,” he said smoothly, briskly making his way to the cage, “are ya ready to speak? Name first. And then I’ll ask questions.”
The moth-creature looked up gloomily, their eyes sunken with exhaustion and hunger and thirst. “...Ivernake.”
“I’ve heard of ya. Famous boxer, i think? Must make loooots of money. I got a proposal for ya; if you give us a few thousand gold, we’ll let ya leave! Deal?” Kayl stuck his hand in the cage, cracking a grin.
Ivernake scoffed, smacking his hand away. “You aren’t getting anything from me. No matter what you and your scum crewmates do, i’m not gonna give you anything for my freedom if it risks others like myself being hurt. I’d rather die.”
The captain’s face became a sneer. “Then die you will.” He hissed, drawing the sword from his hip and planting it directly in the middle of the moth’s back.
Just as he drew his blade out and let the boxer fall to the ground, his crewmates broke into a riot. “CAPTAIN!”, one yelled. “SHE’S BACK!” Another screamed.
Kayl dove for cover before looking up. That purple-haired vulture had made a return, her arms full of bottles and her wings flapping furiously against the wind.
Drop, smash, drop, smash. It started with small yellow bursts, but then it grew larger. The ship began to sink, the cages began to slip around on the deck. His crewmates were wailing and abandoning ship.
It took a lot of effort for Kayl to stand up, but he managed. The last thing he saw before he slammed into the water was the lifeless, unforgiving, eyes of Ivernake.
He didn’t feel remorse, though. He felt angry. He couldn’t die now, he refused to. He swam against the tide and gasped for air, watching as his ship sank to the dark abyss– and a feeling of hatred engulfed his heart. He watched as the vulture dove down for one single cage, dragging it up in her talons and calling for help.
Three more avians flew in and lifted the cage with the lifeless body inside.
How many times had that same group come to sink his ship, how many times had he lost a crewmate and some good money? He couldn’t keep count. He was mad, and he certainly wanted those birds gone for good.

lusttale idea?
so, i really like underlust au, dont judge me >:v
and i made my own, the story is mostrly about Dr. G, also know as Dr. gaster and i would like to make a “blog” in here telling like the story and stuff he does
oh yeah, things started because of handplates by @zarla-s i was just day dreaming and then things turned weird... i will not be sharing the very spicy story that is NH or new home
so here is like the main idea
the universe is like underlust, a world based on well... sex, but its different, it has a story of demons ruling the world being the reason for so much lust, bloodlines of monsters corrupted with incubi blood
gaster hates being called gaster, he thinks thats the name of an inferiour creature, so he calls himself Dr. G
there are these pills that can give monsters a human appearance for some time, gaster made them
Dr. G has a degree on robotics and is the royal scientist, but he mainly dedicates to magic chemistry or potion making, as its commonly called
G doesnt smoke, he vapes, his vape is actually infused with many chemichals, sometimes drugs like THC or LSD, but not always, its mostly to keep the magic goo under control
the upper crack on the head actually does a full round so he has a removable piece of skull, it naturally stick to him, so it doesnt fall but he can remove it without any pain
his skull is filled with this nameless liquid that i kinda call magic goo, because i seariously i dont know what to call it, it usually leaks but the mix of chemicals on the vape help make it more dense so it stays inside
Dr. G is ace but he secretly has a crush on grillby
G actually also goes by they/them, he just doesnt tell anyone, and kinda prefers he/him, but he doest mind the neutral pronouns
about the universe in general
there are these... replicates of characters, only happens with sans, chara and frisk tho
there are three of each of them, one for each route
cherry is pacifist sans, sans is neutral sans, and genocide sans is unkown, its known she is a girl, only sans, chariko and G knew her
felix is pacifist frisk, frisk is neutral, and freya is genocide
chris is pacifist chara, chara is neutral, and chariko is genocide
there are no other replicates on the universe, nobody knows why they even exists
something that calls attention is that gender was kinda defined by what route the person was from, pacifist is male, neutral is non binary and genocide is female
chariko and cherry are married and actually have a daughter, charlie, she is 5-8 and is kept away from all the lust stuff, mostly raised on the surface actually and she might attend the paper jam daycare, if the creator of that comic allows me that is
the replicates were made when the barrier was broken, frisk walked up to it, with the power of the souls she broke the barrier, sending an energy wave everywhere, Dr. G was actually present at the moment of the run, he was just hiding, but he was there at the moment of breaking the barrier, he was sent to the void by the energy, but just for a split second, he felt it like a couple years, but it was less than a second, when the light faded, there where duplicates, and gaster had the fracture
the universe kinda frose on the after ending state, no more reset, because of the whole duplicates situation resets kinda stoped existing, nobody knows if one of the neutrals is just hiding the power, or if its gone, G actually researches the power of save file and reset wenever the humans allow him, he hasnt found a lot about it, but hes trying
monsters still live underground they just have free access to the surface, and actually give services to humans, if you know what i mean
dont know what else to add, its pretty late rn, im so tired
oh yeah, G knows xgaster, he learned the hand spike ability after literally injecting himself with some of xgaster "blood" how that happened? well he found x when he was soulless so he just took advantage to talk to him and kinda just whent akd poked his, black ghost bodie with a siringe and just, somehow got something out of him, not even i know how that works, but yeah G can kinda steal powers

🎶 Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on loop lately?
ykno i Used To. but idk, smth flipped in my brain so i cant write on my computer anymore & HAVE to write on my phone (focus is way better) & music on the computer is natural background noise but on my phone it feels like more of a focus. so i just cant. plus if i listen to music i HAVE to have smth that matches the mood of the thing im currently writing, which can be very difficult to find. so i can just get into the headstate for writing better if im in a quiet, low-distractions room with just my phone before me. idk it's weird. during EDITING though, i do that on my computer still (moving words around feels more natural on la computadora, i guess) & music on computer is a Must. i like to listen to nice background music, which frequently ends up being psytrance lol bc there's just smth about that music that wraps around my brain so wonderfully & helps with the Concentration. but depending on the thing im doing i might do smth else, like how i listened to the album HOME by SIAMES over and over again while editing the first chapter of Summer Nights bc it just had that childhood nostalgia feeling that was Perfect for Childhood Nostalgia, The Fic. as for what ive been listening to more lately lol ive been listening to a lot of muse. unrelated to writing tho. i just enjoy their music lol.

hmmmmmmmmm. well i figure quite a few readers of discacc would claim it's a wild ride, but it's honestly pretty linear. less of a 'whats going to happen' and more 'how is it going to happen'. still enjoyable! but i wouldnt say it's a wild ride. but my magic prince au??????? lmfao now THAT is gonna be a wild ride. whenever i finally get the chance to write it. massive angst and drama and tragedy and plot twists and More. plus not being restricted to the timeline of the game means the plot will be a lot more variable than discacc (which is ultimately just a canon divergence fic, when you get down to it). *sighs longingly* someday i will be able to write my magic prince au...
🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?
hmmmm. honestly anytime i get to make akechi feel vulnerable and/or loved. he is So traumatized & it's difficult for him to trust anyone. so seeing him get Tastes of friendship and belonging is so, so good. also of course the akeshu lol. gotta love Their dynamic & the ways akira always makes goro second guess himself. it's so good.
😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?
hahahaha WELL. ive definitely more than once had a cliff hanger i purposefully put to fuck with people. bc that's very fun to do at times. only a few! im not typically the cliff hanger type. but Sometimes. it's fun to be like "ooOOoO what's gonna Happen?(emotional pain is what's gonna happen)". ive also been just plain mean many, many times, but i dont think i could count that as playful lol. times where i am Kind Of brutal towards goro. with even more to come <3 he's just such a great target lol. tho of course akira will have his time too heheh

I thought that I’d go through and type out a couple that I’d like to know about and that ended up being most of them, don’t feel pressured to answer all of them. 1) is there a story you’re holding off on writing for some reason?
I am only capable of writing 1 story at a time so I’m basically holding off on uh everything until this blog is done. I am very excited to get to write more for my other AUs. Like my “New eden” au which is like the sides happening to meet at a specialized inpatient and there’s loceit and rem(2) and angst and stuff. And I got 2 others i’m excited for bc they’ve got lots of worldbuilding and i havent done much of that in my writing but when i made those AUs i realized i really dig worldbuilding. I am planning on letting y’all vote on which of my AUs should get an askblog when this story is done btw
2) what work of yours, if any, are you the most embarrassed about existing?
Jfkfk the one stucky fic i wrote at like 12. In 1 chapter i put in a self insert and had cap validate my non binaryness. Apparently i thought it was so embarasing i have deleted several chapters from it but i dont remember actually doing that
3) what order do you write in? front of book to back? chronological? favorite scenes first? something else?
Front to back babeyyyy always. Sometimes i scribble down a future scene so i dont forget it but otherwise its all first scene to last

I really did enjoy writing Roman as Jaws in my James Bond au just bc it was such a stupid concept. I also have a soft spot for my son Envy. Before Remus existed Envy was my green side. He was also a gremlin. I love writing dogs <333 Thomas as a dog <3 Roman as a dog <3 Virgil as a big fluffy service dog <333
7) when asked, are you embarrassed or enthusiastic to tell people that you write?
I usually tell people i write. Usually not that i write fanfic

I guess drama? Slice of life? Romance? Whatever you call this. I have written action and thriller stuff as well but i prefer this. I just love angst 💗💓💚🧡💛 even whump 😈 and some good comfort

I ramble with my beloved best friend 💚 our brainstorm sessions get so ridicolously long. For some aus like the New Eden one the plot would look Completely different if it wasnt for him. I probs wouldnt have expanded it so much

I always have to have music on or i cant concrentate. Cant even sit in the same room as other people while writing if theyre chatting loudly
11) what aspect of your writing do you think has most improved since you started writing?
Bro i used to over explain everrryyythhing. I know i still ramble a lot and put in way too many details in my writing but somehow i used to be even worse!! I also was one of those who wrote like "The boy with the round glasses said" instead of just saying their goddamn names

Uhm everything? Jk. But i really do think that writing in of itself isn’t my strong suit. I always feel like i use the same words too much. The same metaphors. Same flowery texts. My grammar isn’t good either.

If i would have any strenght it would maybe be uhhhh concepts? ....I.......I just remember it.......in my head...I know, i’m horrible. I have tried to write up timelines but it never works for me. Sometimes I use the brainstorms with my bestie on discord as a type of timeline but most of the time I do just keep everything in my brain. Which is stupid bc my memory sucks
20) do you write in long sit-down sessions or in little spurts?
I really wanna say i prefer longer sit downs but the thing is my attention span is shit so it usually becomes me “writing” for like 3 hours but half the time was spent watching youtube

Not that I can think of. When i’m writing im in control of what happens obviously so things that make me dissociate or super uncomfy if i saw it in my day to day life dont have any negative effect on me bc im the one writing. Tho one thing i stray from writin nowadays is eating disorders
24) have you ever become an expert on something you previously knew nothing about, in order to better a scene or a story?
Girl ive looked up the most random shit. Different types of mazes, hotels in kentucky, etc. But really i wouldnt say im an expert on these things but i appreciate how much fics have made me learn about different disabilities. i do have chronic pain and some other shit which has made me put in disabled sides in my fics but its not like i have fibro or im deaf or have a brain injury so i have to read up on this stuff and it’s genuinly fascinating to learn. My fics have also let me learn a lot more about different cultures, in this AUs case i’ve learnt a lot about judaism to write the twins C: i would love to write romani sides in the future bc my family is partially romani but until i do that i like putting in that jewish rep. the fandom needs it hfkjhf

fuck this, i have more thoughts abt buttercups eva au!
(if this is your first time seeing buttercups eva au: its an au where grian, mumbo, and scar are pilots of evangelions. like, from neon genesis evangelion. i dont think much knowledge of eva is required, but im prolly wrong shfjfj. other things abt this au can be found in the #buttercups eva au tag.)
character backstories! made this up while trying to sleep last night . this is scars, ill write grian and mumbos later
reminder that im kinda partially saying 'fuck the lore of eva' bcs i literally watched this thing two days ago and it does not make sense to me but i like the Vibes. also am maayyybeee??? calling the angels watchers in this au.
so, scar goodtimes: (this is more of a character profile... a rly rambly one.)
his parents were... killed, and he is under suspicion for being the one to do it. i am unsure whether or not he actually killed them, but the alternative is that they killed themselves and then he got blamed for it. whatever. he doesnt particularly care that they died; they were assholes. so hes on the run, hopping countries whenever he can. he tries to stay in places the longest he can, but he can never stay too long as it gets unsafe + he gets paranoid. also he pissed off a SHITTON of people during his travels so hes also hiding from them. at some point tho he gets weary of always running, despite being scared of stopping, he says fuck it and tries to settle down someplace, even just for a bit. probably fuckin... germany or something? he IS technically supposed to be the asuka of this au.
so he settles down in say, gemany. tricks the government into giving him a new identity via the loophole of him being born right after the second impact, when the world was in SHAMBLES. he says that he never like, officially registered in the government databases due to the disarray and is only coming forth about it now. the government is like 'okay sus but sure'. mooostly cause hes a viable eva pilot i think. anygays he gets an identity, goes to school, is very Normal, but then he gets approached like 'hey do you want to pilot a giant mech? okay great you have no choice'. he wouldnt have said no either way; nerv being a government facility means that its safe. besides, hes curious.
so he becomes the second child, the pilot of eva unit02. he doesnt find it particularly great but its fine enough. he likes feeling like he actually has power for once in his life. he knows he doesnt, not really, but what matters is the feeling of it when it comes to these things, isnt it?
and if youre going like 'lime, his parents being mysteriously killed and him being on the run is a rly flimsy backstory', my answer to that is that i KNOW. but this is silly au and i can do what i want. all of this is subject to change hjksdfsnamd
also hes trans (because i said so). when he got a legal identity, they were like 'we are not going to call you scar'and he was like 'boo'. and then still went by scar.
hes been in a LOT of countries over the course of the course of his life, which means that hes picked up quite a few other languages. how can he trick convince people into letting him hitch a ride if they dont understand him! so hes a polyglot but like, a really bad one if that makes sense fsjdkfnds. id say hes fluent in english, german, japanese, which are the obligatory languages for this, but im sure he knows several more, even if hes not necessarily fluent.
his whole life, especially while his parents were alive but even after that, hes been told that hes worthless and that he wont ever really accomplish anything. how could anyone like him ever do anything with their life? so yeah, spite. hes decided that no, theyre wrong. even though hes never been in one consistent place for most of his life, hes always been determined to somehow prove them wrong. so that definitely plays into being one of the first eva pilots beside the whole safety thing.
hes... determined. but hes never had many close relationships, having always left before anything true could bloom (boom, the whole being on the run thing is a metaphor now as well cause hes running from himself too haha). he puts up a confident façade to hide the fact that he very much does not know what hes doing. hes trying to prove people wrong, that hes better than what they say, but he usually always leaves before he can do that, afraid of actually doing it. here, hes forced to actually stay. so even if he doesnt particularly want to (he does, he just doesnt want to acknowldge it because surely hes better than personal connections? surely theyre a weakness?), he becomes close friends with grian and mumbo and learns that yeah maybe he doesnt have to run. maybe he can stay put.
and thats it mostly!

it was a healthy relationship, sadly the timing for it wasn't exactly the best. you don't know how it happened, but things weren't working out for the both of you. it went wrong in many ways to the point you wonder how you get into a relationship. it wasn't a toxic relationship though, it's more like you both lost interest in one another and you both noticed it but went in denial. that's what caused you to have numerous arguments with childe, always yelling at each other when you call and in the end you'll just hang him up out of frustration with your feelings. you had second thoughts - had you truly loved him from the start? had he truly loved you from the start? you don't know at this point. all you know is that with one final call, you both ended things there and stopped communicating. it all went back to that one snowy night where you were still strangers to each other.

diluc was busy. he had always been, even before you met him he was already busy with many things. but he always made time for you, until lately he didn't. diluc always treated you right and you did the same for him, it's best to say that you two were in a very healthy relationship. so how could things just go wrong? maybe it's because you felt abandoned by him, or maybe it's because you were overthinking if diluc still held feelings for you. you refused to believe that you and diluc's relationship would go downhill. you two always fixed your problems with one another in the end - how is this situation any different from the past ones?
xiao ;
you were the one he trusted the most. the way you were always there for him always made him happy. but in this relationship, xiao was the problem. he didn't know how it all started but lately he felt like he wasn't deserving of you. hell, he even thought that you were just pitying him - but he knows you wouldn't be like that. how can your comforting words be an act of pity? so he believes that he himself is the problem. he's been dazing out recently, always seeming like he's in deep thought and when you ask him about it he'll say it's nothing. "liar." a voice in his head said. it took you a while to process what his words were on the day he finally decided to break up with you. you reached out to him, hand trying to grasp his but he pulled away, avoiding your gaze as you looked at him in hurt. you offered that you'll do better to understand him - to do better at loving him but he denied all of it. he wanted to have a break, to fix himself, to do better for you so he too can give back the love you give him. but in the end, you two really weren't meant to be in this time.
kazuha ;
you thought your feelings went platonic for him. but in truth you just fell out of love. kazuha did nothing wrong, you were the problem. he treated you well - always was by your side when you needed him and always would try his best to cheer you up if you're feeling down. you couldn't believe the fact that you fell out of love for him. so you insisted that your feelings just went platonic - you just can't accept how you fell out of love. kazuha noticed everything, how you've been acting distant lately, how you were getting a bit dry, everything was noticed by him when you didn't even realize it yourself.
and so you broke up, telling him how your feelings went platonic for him. "liar." you called yourself. but within at least 2 weeks later, you decided to say hi to him. you were nervous when you pressed send to a message that just said "hi" in your conversation with him. he was doing well thankfully, but you were a wreck. you hated how kazuha could still read you like a book, he asked if you were alright and you made him guess. and his guess was still accurate as ever - no, you weren't okay. you were a mess.
as if nothing happened between you, he offered for you to rant at him like how he used to, which made you feel bad. how could you fall out of love for such a nice guy? he deserves better than this but he probably doesn't know it. you decided to just go off about work, saying how you were given too much work to do when it recently just started. you didn't know what he would say, but it just hurts even more when he offered to help you with it.
why, why was he still the same? did the past 2 weeks already make him get over what happened between you? even if you tried to fix things with him, you doubt it'll be the same. maybe, you two just really didn't work out for this time. and maybe you two were happier if things just didn't go wrong.

after binge reading i have come to a new revelation: I’m not a fan of most Xiaoven fanfics
Don’t get me wrong, I love the ship and its one of my favorite to think about.... but most of the fanfiction for the ship just- doesn’t sit right with me for a number of reasons.
Disclaimer: these are personal opinions from my own taste and are in no way an attack against any authors out there, because frankly fanfic authors are great and not like i could do better lol. As these are personal opinions, I acknowledge here and now that a number of people disagree and that they are under no obligation to change their opinions in any way as it is not and never will be my intention to tell others what they should be thinking
That said- read at your own risk if you want- meh, anyway-
time to share some opinions that have been on my mind lately
The biggest reason.... is how they handle Xiao. And I don’t even mean mischaracterization because Xiao is such a complex and yet simultaneously simple character that as long as you’re somewhere in the range of “Xiao vibes” it’s really hard to write him out of character because of his complexities.
What I mean is something that i actually completely agree with as being accurate to his character. In nearly every single fanfic I’ve seen, there is some element of idolization that Xiao has for Venti, or for the sake of reference, Barbatos. He tends to think himself beneath Barbatos and/or indebted to him, whether that be because he’s an archon, because he saved him, or simply because of Xiao’s tendency to dehumanize(yes i see the irony in that word usage) himself.
This by itself isn’t an issue but its often how this trait of his is treated.
Imma just list a few ways I’ve seen this be handled within Xiaoven fics.
- It isn’t handled, it’s just there and accepted as a part of who he is in the story
- It isn’t handled but his trait is treated as source of humor within the story
- Venti(and others) roll with it (finding humor in it, just cant change it, encouraging it, making jokes about it, etc.)
- Venti takes advantage of it(whether accidentally or purposely)
- it’s actually addressed(by Venti or someone else or the narration- can go a number of ways, but just- even a brief reference to the fact that its not a good mindset fits in here)
- savior!Venti(Where venti disagrees with it but the way it’s written gives off “god among mortals” vibes- like he’s just being humble and truly is above him in reality)
- its the focus of the story
- not directly addressed but shown to be destructive.
- they chose not to not include this in the story’s characterization of Xiao(just saying that this is valid ahead of time)
Theres others but i have a lot already.
Note that I tend to read more ‘serious-toned’(idk if that makes sense) fics so that may skew my perception
Now there’s a few that i have issues with on their own- both instances of it not being handled, Venti(and others) rolling with it, Venti takes advantage of it(purposely(and without good intent)), and savior!Venti.
Xiao not only has this trait, but he is unfamiliar with what is normal in relationships or emotions as a result of isolation and inexperience. He is also either not aware of or not concerned with what is considered strictly “healthy.” Combining these makes for a rather dangerous combination and just accepting it as “oh he’s just like that, it’s who he is” or making it out to be something funny- It’s not wrong or bad by any means necessarily, and I could still possibly enjoy it to an extent depending on a series of different factors, but its- not as often.
Even in the case where I do enjoy reading it however, I would still feel uncomfortable sharing it with or recommending it to others because in the first instance it feels like normalizing a destructive and dangerous mindset, and in the second case it does the same while simultaneously making a joke of it. It’s the same deal with Venti or other characters rolling with it, but that’s probably gonna be mentioned later too.
Not to say that this is a “wrong” way to handle it, that it makes the fic bad, or that authors even are normalizing anything by doing so, just that in my specific instance- not a fan.
I’ll get to the others when i talk more about Venti, but for now: It’s the focus of the story.
I think I saw like... 2? where the story was like- focused on this and why its a problem which- power to them, address those real world problems like a boss- but also i wouldn’t actively seek it out or anything- like, good job, but doing so just leaves it open neutrally for other factors to decide how good a story i think it is.
not directly addressed but shown to be destructive. You’d think i wouldn’t like this- but frankly in fanfiction not everyone wants to address every character flaw verbally because it can through off story, narration, dialogue, and general flow to do so. This can be with an event, an action, a dialogue, a mere comment, making it actually fit into the it’s actually addressed category except that its- subtle enough to make its own category. plus i live for show not tell- in everything- its a thing. im- very much a fan of when the fics do this but the subtlety is easy to miss and its not common so-
It’s actually adressed- doesnt have to be a lot- just mention anywhere or imply anywhere that maybe idolizing someone as a god and savior and being in a relationship with them while having little knowledge of standards, emotions, relationships, or healthy behaviors in general- maybe isnt the smartest idea in the word. (”Call me Venti, not Barbatos” by itself is not enough to fit in this category tho as a note)

Now lets talk about Venti...
uh.... those who have followed me for awhile will probably already know this but... I have a lot of opinions on Venti and a pretty- “niche(?)” perception of his characterization that isn’t shared by a lot of others- so I don’t actually read as much Venti fanfic in general as you might expect because I often end up disagreeing with how writers portray him, which again, in no way is their characterization wrong, but- “their perceived truth” conflicts with “my perceived truth” and by extent so does the characterization, though neither is any more correct than the other from an objective point of view, if that makes sense... but anyways now that that’s said, moving on before this becomes a philosophy lecture, as fun as that would be for me.
I’ll try to keep my “perceived truth” out of this for the first bit.
Venti’s response to this:
He rolls with it: this depends on the mood of the fanfiction. If they dont put a lot of stress on that trait of Xiao’s it totally fine but if the trait seems to be a major part of Xiao’s character, it seems like normalization once more. (more on this later)
he takes advantage of it purposely: if its an AU or something and Venti’s like a villain(i saw a few) then- villain venti isnt my cup of tea but i have no qualms. If they don’t portray Venti in a negative light while having him take advantage however that’s a bit uncomfortable to read for me because it feels like normalizing taking advantage of that mindset as well as the mindset itself.
However, i did see a number of instances of Venti using it as leverage for like- self care- which i definitely have no qualms.
Xiao: [insert probably destructive idolizing statement about being indebt]
Venti: How bout you pay me back by actually sleeping for once smh
or other variations are okay and depending on the vibe are actually a really fun dynamic as long as it doesnt turn into romanticizing or normalizing it, y’know?
Venti accidentally taking advantage of it.... I love angst- and in most of these theres a sense of guilt when he realizes- and i just think thats a lovely way of addressing the dangers of such a mindset for both sides. As long as it doesn’t keep repeating to the point of romanticization its totally cool to read in my eyes(not irl ofc). If Venti never realizes he accidentally took or is taking advantage it feels a bit like normalization, and if he does but just- doesn’t care thats- a rip.
savior!Venti...... i- i hate. the story giving off vibes that Xiao’s mindset is technically correct while Venti oh so humbly tells him to treat him as an equal like the wonderful and charitable person he is.... i just- no. of course thats over dramatizing it- I think the main thing that gives it this vibe is when Venti doesn’t seem either concerned, surprised, uncomfortable, or otherwise have a negative feeling towards Xiao’s mindset. Just- it makes the whole thing weird in my eyes when Venti doesnt really seem to have his own reason to oppose the mindset idk-

Venti is the god of freedom. His backstory is freeing Mondstadt from a god’s tyrannical reign. His origin is a windsprite, just another breeze bringing changes for the better. His form is a nameless boy who played an instrument and then died, thus failing at his only dream and only ever accomplishing anything because of the help of others. He slept for a thousand years after the archon war to avoid putting Mond under the rule of yet another tyrannical god. He only even became a god because Andrius chose to let him. He wouldn’t have even had that chance if the nameless bard had survived, he’d remain just another wind while his friend ascended to godhood. Venti sacrifices his own power for his people’s freedom.
now that I’ve laid out a number of canon facts, time for opinions:
Venti has little to no desire to be seen as a god. He thrives in, comes from, and emphasizes a lack of superiority in quite nearly everything. The first Ragnvindir, who canonically turned his back on Venti after Decarabian’s fall, likely did so because one- he anticipated power would corrupt and Venti would soon become just another tyrannical god, two- he suspected Venti used the nameless bard in an attempt to rise to godhood, or three- idk insert other possibilities to acknowledge again that i could totally be wrong.
Look me in the eyes and tell me Venti wouldnt trade godhood for his friend in an instant. His godhood was only granted to him because his friend died and could easily serve to constantly remind him of what could have been and what he lost. Venti takes no enjoyment from being seen as superior and in my opinion, I feel that it could actually make him largely uncomfortable when his divinity and abilities as an archon get involved-

this au idea has been sitting in my wips since last year and i planned to make first a comic, then an animatic (i’m only 30 seconds done for the animation and 2 pages done for the comic tho which is basically nothing rip) but don’t know if i’ll ever finish it so i’m writing it down to have something done at least and share with you what i would’ve liked to do :’) take this as some sort of script-storyboard for my dead animation project lmaooo
based on “in a crowd of thousands” from the musical anastasia, imagine after the ceremony in rts when historia has awarded those medals to the survivors, hanji is asleep in their room and has a nightmare, wakes up screaming and levi immediately bursts into their room. levi’s like “yo wanna talk about it” and so they sit down together on hanji’s bed and have a late night talk. they discuss the day, the ceremony, hanji teases levi bc he had to bow down and get on his knees in front of the queen, levi says something like “it’s ridiculous at my age to bow down in front of that little kid” and hanji says “you’ll have to get used to it now”, to which levi answers “no way, that’s the second time i ever bowed in my life. that’s two times too much, i’m never doing it again”, at this point hanji is curious to know in which occasion he bowed for the first time but doesn’t ask. somehow ymir’s letter to historia makes its way into their discussion, which then turns into a silly discussion about feelings considering the content of the letter. hanji asks levi if he’s ever been in love, but of course the old man refuses to answer bc “thats some dumb shit i dont care about stop being weird” but after some teasing and pushing his buttons he reluctantly whispers “…there was someone once” and he starts to tell the story.
in sync with the lyrics of the song, which you can listen to here, levi tells hanji about when he was 10 years old and successfully sneaked out of the underground for a parade in june. as he made his way through the crowd, he spotted a child with glasses wearing beautiful, elaborate clothes that clearly showed their family’s wealth and noble status who was sitting on a bench with their nose in a book while their parents chatted to themselves and levi found himself fascinated by that child who seemed to be stuck in their own world as the crowd was celebrating and dancing around and having fun at the parade. at that point, levi ran towards the child catching their attention and the child smiled at him. however, the parents saw levi’s tattered clothes and malnourished aspect and quickly grabbed the child’s hand to forcefully drag them away, to levi’s (and the child’s) dismay. the lyrics of the song go “the parade traveled on, with the sun in my eyes she was gone. but if i were still 10 in a crowd of thousands i’d find her again”
hanji is endeared by the fact that grumpy old levi never forgot this child he saw more than 20 years before at a parade and teases him, telling him “you’re making me feel like i was there too”, levi answers “maybe you were. make a part of your story” and they play this game where hanji pretends they were actually there that day. as the lyrics say “a parade passing by, it was hot, not a cloud in the sky. then a boy caught my eye in a crowd of thousands. he was thin, not too clean” to which levi answers “look who’s fucking talking” and hanji goes “SHH DONT INTERRUPT ME IM TRYING TO CONCENTRATE” and continues: “there were guards but he dodged in between, yes he made himself seen in a crowd of thousands” but hanji suddenly gets this faraway look in their eyes, like they’re starting to accidentally remember some stuff. “then he called out my name and he started to run through the sun and the heat and crowd, then i tried not to smile, but i smiled… and then…” and stops there with a shocked expression. levi gets impatient “and then??” hanji turns to look at him with tears in their eyes “… and then he bowed”. mf is SHOOK and says “uhhh i didn’t tell you that” but hanji is on cloud nine answering “you didn’t have to! i remember!” and that’s the moment where they finally understand those two children found each other again after 20+ years and that the first time levi ever bowed was in front of hanji and that he actually found his first (and probably only) love again. as the song finishes “the parade traveled on, with the sun in my eyes you were gone, but i knew even then in a crowd of thousands i’d find you again”, they kiss. the end that’s it lads i really wanted to animate this but i just don’t have time 😭😭
