a/n : requested by anon! kind of kicked it off with this hee drabble but had so much fun writing for all the members. for today’s purposes, let’s keep y/n sick and alone in their apartment 🫶

my little philosophy is that significant others can be two types of caregivers — one actively tries to treat your illness, the other is emotional support

each has their own merit ofc

but hee is miraculously both

sincerely believes he can rizz you to health

he’s being a bit selfish, he worries, for making you smile all the time

because it heals him more than it heals you

but he makes up for it by making sure you eat like a king (for all three meals a day!) until you feel better

also cuddles with you in bed to keep you warm

if whatever you have is contagious, he is definitely getting it

last but certainly not least: he sings to you. acoustic covers + snippets of his self-produced music, you’re getting it all 😌

almost makes you wish you were sick more often

arrives at your place with like fifty grocery bags (okay maybe not fifty, but… a lot)

big believer in sleep as the best medicine so he lets you be for the most part

i have one very specific idea for sunoo and i’m kinda obsessed with it

MINT. TEA. (if you know you know… mint tea is the sinus relief GOD)

and ofc as our resident mint choco lover, how could he not

“baby i made something for you!” you peer into the mug and you’re like 🤨 “you didn’t add chocolate syrup to this did you” “wtf i’m not a monster why would i do that??”

his discography and food preferences beg to differ but he truly does give you pure, steaming mint tea

it is so perfect i promise you will fall in love with him all over again

mint aside we all know this man is a human vitamin like i cannot imagine you staying sick for long

no need to binge tv (it makes your head hurt more anyway), just have sunoo spill all the drama to you for seven hours straight and you’ll be good to go

makes you wonder, did this boy have a medical degree this entire time and just not tell me??

knows exactly which medications help with which symptoms, gives you all the immune boosting foods, pulls up with a weighted blanket and a heating pad and a plushie to hug— you’re getting the best sleep of your life no question about it

listens to you so well “i miss what it was like to breathe” “it’s frustrating, isn’t it? as soon as one nostril clears, the other fills up, and it never seems to end” “YES ohmy— [cough] god, yes, you get it :(”

at the same time i think won is the most likely to avoid skinship when you’re sick bc yeah that stuffy nose does not sound fun

is smart about it though; prepares a bubble bath for you and then sets up the heating pad and everything on your bed while you’re in the bath

becomes 143x touchier once you’re back to normal (“i missed squishing your cheeks” “i missed squishing your cheeks!”)

crashes at your place to make sure you’re having a good time

it’s either you watching him game or movie marathon together

you don’t say it but you are so inordinately grateful that he’s caring enough to chill with you on days like these, you know he’d rather do dates outside and play pranks on you every other hour, but he’s giving that up just for you

would share a tub of ice cream with you if you’re craving it, although he voices his concerns first “is it… right to eat cold stuff when you have a cold?” “it defrosts in my mouth don’t worry” “okay you do you”

basically a good old sleepover

every time he checks your temperature he sings his part in fever (he’s humorous like that)

A few of my own personal Garreth headcanons that no one asked for 😌❤️🦁

Did I factcheck anything related to Garreth before posting this? Hell no. All these live in my head illegally and rent-free regardless of canon.

He's a middle child! Of a household containing at least four other children, but my personal thought is five to six.

It's easy to get lost in the crowd at his house while growing up. Or at least that's how he felt. His love for potions actually started out as a begrudging last-ditch effort to garner his parents' attention. When the first miscreation worked, he ran with it. It was hard to ignore a kid who seemed to always create an explosion by dashing whatever he could into a cauldron.

This also bleeds into his school life. At school he struggled to find "individuality" in his fellow students'/teachers' eyes because "Oh look! Another weasley. Same shit, different face".

But the one time he actually (miraculously) made something successful, it was the first time he'd ever felt like he was something. That's when he really began actively trying to be good at it.

He's actually colorblind. It's hard for him to discern if his mixtures have turned into the appropriate colors or not, which is the leading cause of over 80% of brew failures and subsequential explosions.

But he doesn't tell anyone because he already gets enough kids making fun of him for his red hair, freckles, and hand-me-downs. He doesn't need another reason for them to whisper and giggle.

He writes all of his trials, errors, and experimentation ideas inside of a leatherbound notebook that his Aunt Matilda gave to him on Christmas one year

During his free periods he's always outside in the woods, gathering ingredients. Or reading potion books.

He loves Herbology (because it goes hand in hand with potion-making, after all), but Herbology does not love him. The boy can't keep a plant alive to save his life- hence the gathering.

Doesn't bend pages and sees no point in purchasing bookmarks. Marks all his places in books with whatever wildflower or pretty leaf is growing bearby. Forgets to take them out after he's done, too. If you happen to borrow a book from him and flip through the pages they'll fall out like confetti.

A master of the sneak. He'd actually be in detention far more than Sebastian of he wasn't. Owes everything he knows in that regard to his oldest brother (he taught him how to get the cookies off the top of the fridge without so much as creaking a floorboard- and he even has to walk past his parents' bedroom to get there)

He's a morning person. First to rise, and he's up before even the sun is. But he's awful at staying up late. He always tries his best but the poor thing is yawning and dozing off in the Common Room by seven.

Heavy sleeper. Have to be, in such a noisy house.

He doesn't snore, but he does hog all the blankets. Poor baby gets cold easy.

And if he's sleeping next to someone he's the biggest cuddle monster to ever live. Beware!!!! Not nessassarily intentionally, but it always ends up with him hugging you like an octopus all the same.

Left handed

A flirt. Hella flirt. He isn't overtly loud about it like Sebastian is, but that doesn't mean he isn't always doing it. He's cheesy af. Aaaallllll the terrible pickup lines and will not hesitate to make himself look silly in front of others just to make you laugh or put a smile on your face

So. I mentioned in the tags of one of my first posts back that I had to announce a few things that'd probably lose me some followers, but like I don't blame anyone if you do skedaddle because I know most of you are here for the monkie (totally understandable tho)

That being said I am no longer hyperfixated on jttw/Sun Wukong and that likely won't happen again for a while cause main the thing that caused me to clock out for so long kinda left a bad taste in my brain. However I will eventually come back to it. I can guarantee that. It just won't be for a hot minute (maybe who knows I can't control my brain lol)

As for the 10 billion asks I have in my inbox rn I'll be taking screen shots of the ones that have to do with monkie and such and putting them in a folder so that when I DO get back into jttw I'll just immediately start with those. So yeah if you sent me a really long ask FEAR NOT!😃 for I refuse to get rid of any of them 🥰

With that information tho, I never really intended for this to be just a monkie blog that's just what my hyperfixation had been on since I started. But I also tried to force that hyperfixation to stay way longer than I should have so that I could keep making content that my followers would like which is a part of the reason why I needed a break for so long. I wore myself out, and I needed to convince myself that it was okay for me to make content that makes me happy too. 😌

Tho unfortunately that does mean all my current projects will be on hold and I'll be updating the titles on ao3 soon to On Hiatus. 😔

I ofc will still gladly interact with/absorb any art or writings inspired by or dedicated to my works even if they aren't something I'm currently fixated on because effort deserves recognition and I love seeing ya'lls stuff more than anything. 🥰 Same goes for any submissions with art or edits/videos.

Also I did finish my Triad AU Sun Wukong character sheet like... forever go and just forgot to post it. 😬 (I KNOW I'M SORRY! 😭) SO I'll be posting that soon once I'm done moving everything around and making things more manageable and ✨️aesthetic✨️ on the blog.

Tho that kinda brings me to the next announcement I'll be merging my art blog and my spam blog onto this blog (so many blogs😫) cause honestly 4 blogs is just too much and I just wanna vibe 😅🤚 lol

The last announcement is that once I'm done rearranging everything I'll be going through all my mentions that I've missed and checking out what you guys made while I was gone cause I heard from a few people that there's quite a bit 😊 *much excitement* (on god I need an emoji that looks like it's vibrating because I need visual representation of how I feel like imma explode sometimes)

I've always thought about Mason and Y/n being friends since they were babies. Things turn into fwb but then Y/n gets into a relationship. Mason goes a bit off the rails with girls to try to get Y/n out of his system but it doesn't work.

Y/n ends up being single again, and Mason wants them to give it a go. She's hesitant because she has seen how he is with all the other girls and doesn't want to just be another one of them and doesn't think she can trust him in a relationship. He pleads with her that he's only like that because these girls are not her. She eventually gives in, and they l8ve happily ever after. 🥰🤣 xx

oooo friends to friends with benefits to friends to lovers 👀 I love this

Maybe Mason was a little caught off guard when you take the ‘no strings attached/no feelings’ thing a little too seriously and end up getting with someone else 😭 He never expected you to fall in love with him or anything, you became fwb’s for a reason, but he also never expected to actually catch feelings for you and never thought it would end with you in a relationship and him feeling like he’s lost you 🥺

You remain friends because both of you know that what you have is too special to let go of, even if it is just a friendship.

Maybe then he gets with a few other girls because he hates seeing you with someone else and there’s a silly little part of his brain that’s telling him it’s the only way to get over you, but when you breakup with your boyfriend a few months later and he asks if you can give the two of you another chance you don’t know if you can trust him. It breaks his heart to hear you say that and he hates himself for making you feel that way about him 🥺 he never wanted to portray him self as un trustworthy and he wishes he could go back and undo everything he’s done over the last couple of months because he regrets it all more than anything

You don’t give into him straight away, telling him that if he can earn your trust back then you’ll be more than happy to give it a shot, but you can’t be with someone you can’t trust. So be does everything in his power to build that trust back up and help you believe him when he says he only wants you. It doesn’t take long, you knew you’d give into him pretty quickly because you can’t say no to him and you’re taken back by just how much effort he put into winning you back, doing everything he could to make you trust him again and when you eventually get together he proves that you made the right choice, never once doing anything to betray your trust or make you believe that he’s not trustworthy 😌

Author Discussion: Silence Louder than Words

OKAY SO LET’S GET THIS GOING.

AUTHOR DISCUSSION IS BELOW THE CUT.

And if you haven’t read Silence Louder than Words, the latest installment of Another Level, it’s recommended you do before reading this because there are SPOILERS in this discussion :)

Before I say anything, though, I wanna put a disclaimer: Don’t be upset with Nanami.

He really, really means well. He just wants them both to be okay, and he knows that Gojo needs someone. And he knows that Rinko wants to help.

As for the joking he does, remember that by this point, Rinko and Nanami really, truly see each other like siblings, so of course he’s going to joke with her about these things. He’s going to tease his work sis about her fuckbuddy needing to relieve some tension because it’s funny and normally, she’d laugh.

I’ll address the MAJOR question I have a feeling most people have first:

Why the fuck did Gojo wait until Rinko was asleep to say that last line?

So many reasons. So, so many reasons.

But the first is because that was him recognizing that feeling for the first time. This was the first time he’s allowed himself the headspace to even consider that as a possibility. And so, as they laid there, him watching her drift to sleep after she sat with him in silence for hours, it almost smacked him in the face that he really doesn’t ever want to be without her and that feeling is likely love.

On top of that, while she told him her thoughts, told him she doesn’t think he should fault himself, she accepts that she can’t force him to change his mind. But she lets him know that she just sees an impossible situation that he did the very best he could at the time in.

He’s realizing that there is someone in his life who won’t ever try to force him to be someone they expect him to be for their own benefit, and he’s finally understanding that he wants her around at all times because he likely loves her.

And this could not have happened earlier. It couldn’t have.

Much like Yuzuki dying made room for Gojo, Geto’s death is going to make room for Rinko.

With Gojo beginning to accept that Geto is going to be gone from his life forever, he’s going to be able to open up a bit more to allow Rinko inside. And, like I’ve said before, that fucking terrifies him. Because Geto was the only other person he’s ever trusted this much.

I’m warning you now: this isn’t where their relationship begins. Because 1) Gojo is a drama queen and wants to do this the way he thinks is the best way and the most dramatic. 2) Rinko still isn’t ready, and Gojo knows this.

They just reestablished that their relationship is just sex a couple of months ago. Gojo turning right around and saying ‘Hey jk, I’m in love with you’ would send Rinko running for the hills. And he is well aware of this.

Also, he’s going to need some time to make sure that he understands this feeling before jumping in and saying something too quickly. He needs to process this realization before saying anything to her.

Why was this time different than the last time she checked on him?

A great question, thank you so much for asking! 😌

Again, many, many reasons.

You’ll notice how Rinko specifically told Nanami to mind his own damn business and then seems to do exactly as he says. But she doesn’t. Not really.

She looks for Gojo and then says nothing once she finds him. She stands outside of the classroom until he speaks first.

She does not invade the space he has made for himself.

She stood in the doorway, at the threshold until he gives her permission to enter.

And she waits for him to speak before she says anything. She’d been standing there for a while before he acknowledged her, which is why she made the joke asking if he meant the room or Tokyo. She knew he knew as soon as she found him because she hadn’t made an effort to hide her duplicates while she searched.

But she kept it light, and let him be the one to make it heavy if that was what he wanted. She acknowledges to herself that if he asks her to leave, then she will with no other questions because she assumes that he’ll want her to leave.

She also notes that her gut told her to at least see him before leaving.

And that is important because she’s not listening to Nanami, she’s listening to her gut telling her to see Gojo before she leaves. And let him see her. Because she only wants him to know that she cares and is there if he wants to talk. But she will give him the space he needs if he tells her to go.

That is why he lets her stay: because she asked.

Remember, at the very end of Hollow Echoes, Gojo specifies: “Just don’t come barging in whenever you want without asking first.”

Her respecting the space he made for himself and asking if she’s allowed to enter, making it clear that she will respect his wish if he tells her no, is what prompts him to nod when she asks to sit with him.

Then, once he allows her to stay, she does exactly what she said she would: she sits with him.

She doesn’t speak, doesn’t ask him questions, or try to fill the silence, she just sits.

Because just like she admits to herself in the very beginning: she can’t make things better. She can’t make the situation any less shitty and they both know it. But she can just make sure he isn’t completely alone to deal with whatever thoughts are racing in his mind. She can let him know that she cares about him and that she’s there if he needs her and that he doesn’t have to be alone if he doesn’t want to be.

When she sat with him in silence, that made him realize that that was why he hated being around people whenever he was upset: because they always tried to fix or make him feel better or justify or anything in between. They always talked to him to try to make it better. But they never allowed him to just sit and process his thoughts like he wanted and needed.

Rinko does. She sits and lets him do whatever it is he needs and offers companionship through it, which is why he pulls her closer because he realizes that he doesn’t want to be alone. He just wants to be allowed to process without someone trying to force him to be better before he’s ready.

He’s grieving and instead of telling him to grieve faster, she sits with him and gives him the space to take however long he needs.

And that is just really beautiful.

Realistically, most people are fixers. And people don’t like when others’ emotions affect them. People also don’t like when people they care about are hurt or upset, so they try to make it better. But sometimes, what they end up doing is making things worse. Because they either fill the space that is needed to process, or they make the one grieving feel guilty for burdening others with their emotions.

I planned this part so early on for these two because it’s vital for the shift in how Gojo views and trusts her. This doesn’t mean they’re going to jump into a relationship at all because he’s still going to need time to grieve Geto, but it marks the shift in his mindset and how he sees his future.

Gojo can now see a future outside of missing Geto and regretting what happened and realizes that he wants Rinko to be in that future with him more than anyone else he’s known.

Again, they are not jumping into a relationship after this. Because this is just Gojo having this realization.

Rinko still is not ready.

I mean it when I say that were Gojo to confess to her now, she’d run. She would disappear from his life. Because not only would she think he’s only saying that out of grief and his emotions are high, but she’d think that she can’t ever be near him without risk of him saying things she doesn’t think he could ever truly mean when he’s hurting or struggling.

He knows this. He knows her. And he knows that if he were to turn to her as soon as Geto is dead and tell her that he loves her, she’d book it and he would likely never see the Rinko he’s just realized he’s in love with ever again. He knows that while he might see her, and be near her physically, she would withdraw and would never, ever open herself up to him ever again.

Because he knows how she sees him.

Remember how they started all of this in Semi-Grade:

“I’ll be honest with you, I don’t usually see someone more than once.” She raised her eyebrows, giving her phone a look of disbelief. “Gojo,” she said, scoffing again. “You don’t need to bullshit me-” “I’m serious,” he cut her off again. “I’ll make you a deal. Because I said I want to be your friend - and I meant that, by the way - I won’t lie to you about this shit. If you’ll agree to the same. Occasional, casual sex, and we let the other know if that changes or something happens.” Tilting her head to the side, she mulled his words over. He made it sound too easy, just like recommending her for Grade 1. “Kurisaki?” he asked, and she realized she’d been completely silent. “You there?” “Yeah,” she called, walking back to her phone and staring down at the stupid contact picture he’d taken. “Kinda unclear though, what do you mean by if anything changes? Like, if we have a partner we think may have given us something?” “Or if you get a boyfriend…”

He was being honest when he told her he didn’t usually sleep with someone more than once. He did that in order to avoid them having feelings. And he told Rinko that their arrangement would only change if she started dating someone seriously because he knew that he wouldn’t be doing anything of the sort. He wanted her to understand that it was all he would ever want before they agreed to continue. And it’s because of all of that that he knows Rinko doesn’t think he’s capable of love because he didn’t think he really was until this realization.

The last thing I’ll address is why he specifies that he needs her to be in Kyoto:

Because he wants her in Tokyo with him. He wants to ask her to be at Shinjuku with him because her presence would help ease his mind.

But he knows that not only will she be needed in Kyoto, but that he needs to know Kyoto will be safe. And if she’s there, he knows it will be.

We’ll find out that he’s added Nanami as a last-minute addition on the day of the death parade. He does not do this because he thinks Rinko can’t handle it alone. It’s because he knows that it’ll ease her mind to have Nanami there to back her up. And he just wants her to feel as secure as possible in what he knows she’s capable of.

This one was a real labor of love for me. I really, really love the complexity of Silence Louder than Words, because I feel it shows growth on both of their parts while still displaying that they're still very messy humans who finally fuckin gave each other one of the damn hugs they both need.

These two are so adorable and damaged and so good for each other and they will eventually realize it enough to end up happy together. 💕💕

happy new year. I’ve never filled something like this out… but as I published more fics last year than I did in 2022, and I have as many WIPs in the works right now, it seems like a good idea so I can reflect next year 😌

Knowing I’ve written over 100k words in a year is pretty cool! Especially since I only wrote 20k the year before that. I wrote all the wip titles down in a spreadsheet at least.

3 Your most popular fic:

I think the clouds above. I definitely did not expect that kind of reception when I first published it! I’m really thankful people still checked it out after the Paris special aired, too. It was one of the more fun fics I wrote, and I feel I actually don’t talk about how much of an Adrinette girlie I am. Even pre-reveal Adrinette is incredibly meaningful to me! I wrote this fic in a few hours and I was buzzing with excitement. I have another Paris special idea, but it’s… very much an AU I feel. Like it would be somewhere between the clouds above characterization and more canon compliant. So I am not sure if it’s something worth pursuing.

4 Your personal fav:

BACKWARDS WALK SWEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually didn’t know if I’d ever write Ladywalker again after TBSYM? I had small ideas but something switched in me honestly after allowing myself to like… write them in a trope. I’ve reread this fic so many times and it still gets me at all the emotional beats, and I feel the prose is strong in this one. Sometimes I can get a little wordy…! Anyway. this is when I felt I could write them again, and write more.

5 Your fav scene:

Published: I think the last scene of a rose by any other name.

Unpublished: I think this takes the cake

6 A fic or scene that challenged you:

Honestly, almost all of hearth. I took like, a six month break from writing it. Came back to it because it kept itself burrowed in my mind, but I redid the beginning like, three times? And I feel the ending is not as strong as I want it to be. I don’t think I’ve actually ever reread it, either. I won’t say I dislike it, but I think it was one of the harder writing projects of the year for many reasons.

The good: the Adrinette is exactly my comfort flavor. I’m proud of the statue scenes.

The bad: the pacing, the plot is a little loose, the prose can be a little ‘can’t see the trees through the forest’ for me, the ending….

The comments on it, however, have been some of the most meaningful things to me, and I am endlessly grateful!!! I almost feel like this was such a tumultuous work for me, that every thoughtful comment that called it poetic, that they wanted to savor it, meant a lot to me.

I could not pick just one. I got lost in my WIPs for like half an hour.

how do I choose?

All the comments on hearth, as I said. I can’t put into words how I feel about this fic, but I see the reflection of the effort and love when I read hearth’s comments. I could not pick a single favorite out of all of those…!

sunny who has graced not just me, but a wide swath of creators and artists with their thoughtful, engaging comments. I could not for the life of me choose just one, but maaaaybe:

Everyone who left tags in reblogs like “NEW ASUKIESS FIC?” or when whiskers complimented my ladywalker.

When piso said the following:

about four to five years or so

not in any official capacity. though vows may have been whispered to each other on a particularly romantic evening. our souls are both intertwined for the rest of eternity ^_^

TORGAL!!!!!!! the most loyal and fluffy hound in all of valisthea. so warm and cuddly. such a good boy. i enjoy feeding him lots of treats. clive’s heart always aches seeing the two of us snuggled up together napping.

i also have a habit of caring for any strays that wander about

yes!

💌: if yes to the last question - how long?

technically we’ve been living in the same place together since he arrived to the hideaway but we didn’t start sharing chambers together til a short while after we starting dating.

the infirmary 😭 i was working as an apprentice under tarja at the time and aided in tending to jill when cid brought her in.

after completing my training i started going on assignments as a healer and would often join clive n co. 😌

🥰: have you met their family? have they met yours?

i have!!! i’ve met joshua, jill, his uncle and his mother (unfortunately). did not get to meet his father before his passing, sadly (RIP TO A DILF 😔)

i simply do not have living family in most of my selfships 😭😭 so he has not met any of my relatives

definitely me 😔 it’s always 50/50 on whether my jokes hit or not.

clive is funny but it’s always unintentional (whereas i’ll put in effort to make people laugh) he’ll do or say something and get a giggle out of me and be like ???

😯: have you two ever taken a road trip/vacation?

not intentionally. we’ve traveled lots of places but never for leisure because we’re both such busy bees. if we’re both not out on assignments we’re usually still working. i spend most of my time in the infirmary than not.

that being said, i do make note of all the scenic places we visit to bookmark them for when more peaceful times come. the first place i’d want us to go to together is the sea. i feel the most at peace there.

😠: what’s the worst fight you’ve had?

we both have a habit of running into danger especially when the other’s life is at stake heh heh i’d say the worst outburst was during one particular scare clive gave me with his injuries.

after patching him up i became sort of passive aggressive towards him and when he calls me out on it i kind of blow up about how he can be really reckless sometimes, that i understand the importance of destroying the mother crystals but his safety will always be most important to me (as selfish as it is) and it ends up with me sobbing in his arms crying about how if anything ever happened to him i don’t know if i could go on.

obviously he’s very powerful but i can’t help but worry!!!!!!

navigating our relationship with our joint trauma sure has been interesting 👍

🤑: who has the worst spending habit?

me 😔

clive is a man of necessity for the most part and while i’m not reckless per-say, if i’m out and have the money to buy a little trinket i probably will 😭

❤️‍🔥: how does your love languages differ?

tbh i don’t know which love language of mine is the one that i need most so honestly idk!!! 😭 i am the most greedy for love angel throughout the heavens

imo, clive is big on words of affirmation. gentle reminders that he’s not actually the big bad monster he often thinks he is. just sticking by him throughout everything means a lot.

😽: who likes pda?

we both do! though clive is more reserved than i. i kinda get in fits where i’m overwhelmed with energy and need to melt into him like butter and crawl all over him. there’s no containing me at that point.

though most of the time in public it’s just me holding him from behind or hugs. his embrace is always really comforting and calming and he always indulges me ^_^

though he won’t initiate kisses in front of others cause it makes him embarrassed. i’m always the one pressing a chaste kiss to his lips after finishing up in the dining hall, leaving him in his flustered state with the rest of our dining companions.

🛏️: who stays up late? goes to bed early?

depends on the day tbh. i’m the one who usually tries to go to sleep early, since i love mornings. sometimes we’re both up late working, or plagued with thoughts of the past. i usually fall asleep before he does regardless of what time it is while he keeps a watchful eye over my sleeping form.

😘: any pet names they call you? you call them?

clive and i are both chronic calling each other by their name type people 😭

but in more intimate settings, he’ll call me angel and i’ll let a baby or two slip out

👄: talk about your first or best kiss thus far

first kiss!! first kiss!!!

okay so it wasn’t long before we started dating. he had gotten injured while he was out and had to visit the infirmary. tarja wasn’t in and i was the only one running things. he had a few gashes that needed to be stitched as well as a few abrasions.

after 13 long years of fighting, i was the first gentle and “loving” touch he had. we’d friends for a short while at that point, some mutual pining going on though neither of us were acting on it.

at that point he was still in the mentality of not thinking he was deserving of any kindness due to what happened in his past. so when i come around gently stitching up his and tending to his other wounds, he’s taken aback. plus i may have been chastising him on being more careful cause there’s people around the hideaway (me) who worry for his safety and bla bla bla.

basically he gets overwhelmed with feeling and doesn’t know how to deal with it other than pulling me for a kiss. (mid stitch mind you!!! he was lucky no further damage was caused)

So this one is a mafia! Jotaro smut, though this sneak peek has no smut part, given it’s the intro/start and you all know how I love my build up and backstory 😂

There’s not enough mafia Jotaro out there, so hence I am working on 2. This is one of ‘em ;3

Stumbling towards the apartment complex entry door, balancing the three bags of groceries, you jabbed in your key, barely managing to hold onto everything as the door swung open.

This day had been way too long and you couldn’t stand another second, on the verge of breaking down crying as you tried to hold onto your work bag and all the plastic bags at once.

As if god hadn’t punished you enough, you walked through the foyer and past the wall of mailboxes, your gaze lingering on 34A - your box.

Tomorrow was a weekend and you knew you wouldn’t be able to move an inch from your measly apartment on the one day off you had in the week, your two jobs not permitting you much free time.

Swallowing, you took a deep breath as you slowly shuffled towards it. Placing the bags in your right hand on the floor, you cringed as you heard the glass pots in it roughly connect with the tiles but flipped your keys up either way, using your one free hand to find your mailbox key on the ring.

Finally succeeding, you opened the little hatch to see a single neat letter inside and you briefly wondered whether it was truly worth all this trouble.

Harshly grabbing it, you threw it into a grocery bag on the floor, slamming your mailbox shut and locking it before leaning down with some effort to pick up the heavy bags again.

Walking down the hall you pressed the elevator button, waiting for it to arrive, only to stand there for a full minute, no rattling of metal, no ding signalling it arrived.

Biting your lip in frustrated anger, you kicked at the doors, nearly jumping back when they squeaked open.

One of the doors lagged, dragged in angle and staying stuck for a second before fully opening and your brows creased with worry. It was a shoddy looking thing on the best of days and right now it seemed even worse than usual.

You knew you wouldn’t be able to drag all your stuff up three flights of stairs however, carefully getting into the riggety elevator and pressing the right floor.

Your eyes were slightly watery with frustration as you tried to keep yourself composed. The elevator might as well just plummet down and kill you, it would solve all your problems real quick.

Unfortunately or fortunately, the machine let out a little ding and the doors opened, revealing your floor.

Sighing once more to brace yourself, you stopped slumping and straightened up, bringing up the bags again with you as you then walked out of the elevator and quickly rushed over to your home.

After one final struggle with keys you swung the doors open and it felt like heaven to see your tiny appartement.

Walking into what looked more like a student dorm than an actual house, you placed the bags in your kitchen-slash-dining room, letting out a loud groan.

Throwing your work bag to the table, you quickly started unloading all the groceries that needed to go into the fridge or freezer, not bothering with the rest - you could do that later, right now you were just too broken.

Grabbing the last milk karton, as you lifted it, you spotted the letter you picked up earlier. With a deep sigh, you bent down again and picked it up, opening the fridge and putting away the milk before trudging over to your shoddy couch and falling down, groaning.

Holding the letter up, you sighed again before starting to clumsily open it. “Please don’t let it be a bill.” You whined, slowly managing to tear everything open.

It didn’t seem like a bill, given that it was just a white envelope with your name and address. It didn’t even have a postcard, strangely enough.

Grabbing what was inside, you pulled out a folded white piece of paper. Unfolding it, it was hand-written in neat handwriting reminiscent of the one on the envelope.

Slowly, your eyes started gliding over the page.

To: Y/N L/N,

I hope this letter finds you in good health.

You have been struggling lately. Working two jobs in the manner you are doing will drive you to an early grave and I’d hate to see that happen.

Come to the Born Star club downtown at nine.

Wear something nice.

Show this letter to the security at the entrance.

Fandom Trumps Hate bidding is live as of today and this feels like a good time to tell y'all that I'm offering two gift works this year! I had to skip last year as I had just way too much going on, and while I guess technically I'm still just as busy I really missed writing as much last year so I'm prioritizing it now. 🙃: what’s a weird fact that you know? Oh I know so many 😀 I love researching stuff more than anything! I’ll give you 5:

Vampire squids exist! They’re amazing and adorable! They’re only a couple inches big, and unlike other squids, their tentacles are connected by very fine webbing, like a cape! They have spines along each tentacle, and when they flip their tentacles and webbing above their heads, they become little red spike balls. (Lowkey kinda wanna get one and name it Baz 😌)

There’s a diagnosed phobia for the color yellow!

Sometimes, if a company doesn’t use enough cocoa in a chocolate product, they legally cannot call it chocolate. So! Look on your favorite “chocolate” candy, and if it only says “chocolatey” or “chocolate flavored” on the package, you know it isn’t really chocolate!

Like the last one, white chocolate isn’t chocolate. It doesn’t actually have any cacao in it, but we still call it chocolate because it uses cocoa butter.

And you might know this one, but it takes more muscles to frown than smile, and smiling can actually release more endorphins than over 1,000 chocolate bars! 😊

🌸: what’s the best compliment you’ve ever received? So, I make holiday gifts for everyone in my family, and a few friends, every year. It’s genuinely one of my favorite things to do because I feel so happy when I’m able to make something specifically tailored to them that you can’t find in a store! This past Christmas, I gave my uncle a painting of a bear, saying he’s the coolest guy in the room. It didn’t mean too much to me, it was just something silly that I thought would make him laugh, and it did! And he pulled me aside after to tell me how much he really appreciated the gift, and how important it was to him. He was in genuine tears and it made me really happy to know that I could do that for him, that I could make him that happy! So, now, when I go to visit his house, or anyone else’s, I get to see my art work on the walls, and my cross stitches hanging, and my pots being used and I think that’s the best compliment. Getting to see my loved ones get genuine joy out of the things I make for them. To love them so much that they have to show them off. You can’t talk to my grandfather without him showing off my goat diorama I made him for Father’s Day, my aunt has held onto the first painting I ever made her, even though it isn’t that great, my father put the paintings I made him up in his office. All these little things that I put so much effort into bring them this much joy. It’s a wonderful feeling.

✨️ - how did you come up with this ocs name?

so the thing about Elora is that she has Several names for her 283848 alter egos BUT eloras become one of her Central Names / Personas.. as that's the role she played when she met arahana (her wife). It's funny cause canonically she didn't even put much effort in choosing the name-- she literally just stole it from bougie bitch back home. Eloras use to living a life on the run and remaking herself so she didn't rly expect Elora Lavain to have any sort of permanence. Whoops :P

As for how I came up with the name: okay so I've liked the name Elora for a long time ever since I first heard it from. Yeag. The Spyro series. The last name tho I was stuck on for quite a while and eventually used a name generator for ideas until I ended up with lavain which flowed rly nicely! Thus she became Elora lavain

Fnsjjgd but more seriously I'd say her hobbies include: fashion, fencing, sailing, archery... she likes games as well. Unfortunately she wasn't born in time to be a gamer girl 😔 but she loves card/dice games, darts... gambling in general rly lol.

Journaling/writing though she is very private about it like very much the kinda bitch where only when she dies you're gonna find the 393939 journals she kept. Though if you published them she will absolutely come to haunt your ass.

She likes theater too and I can see her definitely having been in a few performances herself but she's more a theater goer these days. And there's a lot more actually elora lives a very active life as many different people and has picked up all sorts of odd hobbies over the years... but these are the ones that she tends to return to

4 - back when yuri on ice was airing and everyone loved it at the same time, including actual figure skaters <3 it was truly such a time to be on tumblr (i mean…the side that watches anime) and like idc ppl can have their opinions of yoi but i thought it was a vvv nice show and i remember loving it. whats better than being gay and falling in love…like what do yall want from anime, actually. yuri & viktor were a nice couple!!!

3 - when i changed from my old blog to my new blog god fucking bless <3 i had my old blog for soooooooo long and it was just…so cluttered and messy to a point where i didnt have the energy to put into it to change it? like i didnt hate my old blog but there was so much on it that i no longer liked and the effort it would have needed to make it better was simply too much </3 im much happier with this blog now, so much nicer 😌

2 - something i think abt CONSTANTLY is this fanbook i participated in that was sent off to two thai actors whom i really like that was basically thanking them for the work they did in the series and what their support of lgbtq+ ppl meant to the ppl who watched the show and stuff and like…its really nice to always think abt that :') like they have a book abt all the love from their fans and my thoughts and feelings are in that book too…literally makes my heart so full to think abt omg
