Obsessed with the fact that Peacock's Amplifying Women's Voices section includes:
Cozy old lady mystery
The coziest show of all time
A horror science fiction film where the only survivors are a woman and an orange cat.
And a dystopian science fiction film with a lady lead.
(There are more in this section but this is the first four).
Full spectrum of media, I guess.

i dont want a love like the movies. i want a love like they have in sitcoms. playfully roasting each other. every one teasing us when we're together. slowly becoming best friends. like Jake and Amy from Brooklyn Nine-Nine, or Jonah and Amy from Superstore, or Phil and Claire from Modern Family, or Ben and Leslie from Parks and Recreation. Movies say 'happily ever after' but sitcoms show you the after. I want a love like the sitcoms

Natty: Have you seen Lyla? I’m worried about her, especially after what happened to Professor Fig.
Poppy: She’s painting rocks in our common room again…
Natty: …Oh no.
Lyla had a rough year. There may or may not have been an intervention in the Hufflepuff common room 😭
This is in reference to this ask I got about otters collecting “special rocks” LOL

Thinking about how a jaded, cynical Ben Wyatt walked into the pawnee parks department for the first time and told Leslie Knope that there was nothing special about her town, having absolutely no idea that in just a few years he’d be standing in essentially that same spot on their wedding day talking about how fate had led him there to her 🥺😭

Imagining Luz, Hunter and Amity being so like "it's so nice that Willow is oblivious to the horrors (affectionate) and Never Has to Know about any of that unpleasant business with Belos that we dealt with so subtly" and then she's visiting the castle at one point and drops into conversation, with an air of cheerful and relaxed curiousity, "so which of you was it who actually killed him?" 😊🌱
BARK LAUGH. i'm still thinking about willow and gus figuring out that belos was human in your fic. gonna shamelessly plug it again bc it's so good.
lumiter like it's so nice that willow is an innocent smol bean who never thinks about politics or violence. we mustn't corrupt her. meanwhile willow is like yeah guys. i'm about to engage in some Very Large Bean behavior.
