McKinsey & Co. sought to rally its partners with upbeat declarations and blasts of rock and rap music in Copenhagen earlier this month, attempting to boost morale during a tumultuous period for the giant consulting firm.
The musical soundtrack included a selection of hits from pop artists including American rapper Eminem and singer Bob Marley. “Tubthumping” by former British rock bank Chumbawamba was also played, with its signature lyrics: “I get knocked down, but I get up again. You are never gonna keep me down.”
Completely renovated 1911 home built on top of a garage in Seattle, WA and surrounded by a fence so no one accidentally falls off the roof. Interesting how they got grass and bushes to grow up there. 2bds, 2ba, asking $985K. For almost a mil, they couldn't repaint the fence?
The entrance.
It looks like it's been gutted and completely new. Has a cozy sitting area by the fire.
It's kind of weird how they ran the carpet like this. It would've been better with the wood floor. There's a nice large dining area.
The kitchen is nicely done. Of course, the whole house needs decor and some color.
Right off the kitchen there's a laundry room.
There's another sitting area on the other side of the stairs.
Nice bath #1.
Upstairs sitting room.
And, bedroom #1. There's no bathroom up here though, it's on the main floor.
Family room in the finished "basement."
Bedroom #2 is down here and it's the primary.
En-suite bath with a double shower.
There's a deck.
And, a cement patio.
Plus, a small lawn and path on the side of the house.
The lot that the structure is on measures 2,400 sq ft.
My favorite part of this story is she set the meeting for 7:00 am at her mansion. Snoop recalls his crew standing in her driveway at 6:50 because you do not show up late to Ms. Warwick's.
I feel like such a Scrooge, but I hate going to venues with live music. it’s stressful! I want to focus on the people I’m there with, and having to strain to hear them and then shout my answer, sometimes repeatedly, is no fun. there must be something appealing though, bc people are always trying to take me to them.
This evening, my two year old son accidentally slammed a book directly into my nose. It hurt, I yelled in pain, he cried, feelings were hurt all around. Ouch.
Dearest @staff , more than anything else I would like a prompt to confirm that I mean to quit the Tumblr app when I accidentally swipe "back" while trying to scroll.
