You sigh to yourself as you dig through your bag for the keys to your apartment. Like always you shout into the apartment once you open the door.

"I'm back darling are y'all home yet?" You ask, flicking on the main light in the living room. The apartment's too quiet for your boyfriends to be back. It looks like you beat the boys home. That's fine, better even, gives you time to sort out the best way to break the news to them. You honestly have no idea how this conversation is going to go, you've been noticeably distracted thinking about it pretty much all day.

You take a few moments to just sit with yourself in the silence of your empty apartment before putting on some music to get dinner started. Something simple, you know Steven had work today but you can never predict who will actually be fronting by the time they get home. If Donna was particularly horrendous on any given day Jake would take over. If something Khonshu related happened usually Marc would be the one shuffling into your shared home. You wonder how that's going to play into it now that things are about to change so drastically. You're not quite done when the door to the apartment clicks open.

"Hi lovelies." You shoot over your shoulder.

"You're home already?" Jake greets you once the door's open.

"Yeah, but I've not been home long."

"Dinner smells great mi vida." Jake kisses your cheek.

"Thank you, darling. I've made pasta and chicken. I know you're not particularly fond of vegan dishes." You say.

"Well I like yours cariño, your food doesn't taste awful and bland like what I've mostly seen of vegan food."

"Well I appreciate that sentiment I suppose, but I know you still prefer nonvegan." You chuckle.

"That's true, yes, but I'll probably have both anyway." Jake shrugs.

"Was work particularly bad for Steven today?"

"No actually, that horrid Donna woman was out sick, but I missed you. Steven was with you this morning and Marc was out most of last night. Only fair I get some quality time of my own. We agreed."

"You boys are so silly." You laugh.

"Steven wants you to know it's only you that makes us act that way."

"How cute." You muse.

"Yeah he's quite the sweet talker. How was your day?"

"It was fine, I worked through most of the morning and then I had some errands to run." You shrug.

"What sort of errands?"

"A little of this a little of that, some shopping, some dropping off of things, meeting people." You say vaguely. "Dinner's about done, can you grab some plates and forks?"

"Of course." Jake joins you in the kitchen getting plates and utensils while you turn off the oven and the stove. You pull the chicken out of the oven and Jake grabs one and drops it on his plate before you've even put the tray down.

"It's hot Jake be careful!" You warn him as you spoon pasta onto your own plate.

"No worries muñequita, I'll be fine." Jake winks.

"You all always eat like you haven't had any food all day." You shake your head taking a seat on the couch. Jake scoops pasta onto his plate and joins you as you pick something to watch.

"Your food is too good to not." He says. You roll your eyes at him but you don't bother to respond as you start eating. Both of you are pretty quiet through dinner, mostly discussing the show you've chosen to watch through dinner. You still have to talk to them but the words keep getting stuck in your throat. You wish you weren't so worried but this could easily go very wrong. When Jake finishes his meal he stands and kisses your cheek.

"I'll take care of the dishes and then I'm going to hop in the shower." Jake tells you, taking your empty plate from the table.

"Alright." You nod. Okay y/n suck it up, you can't put it off forever. "When you're finished darling we, need to talk." You announce before you can talk yourself out of it again.

"That- sounds ominous. Is everything okay? Should I hold off on the dishes?"

"No no, you can finish up it's not- urgent." You tell him. Jake washes his hands and turns off the sink.

"What's this about cariño?" Jake asks walking over to you as he dries his hands.

"I have something to tell you- but I'm not sure how you'll react to it." You tell him when he sits beside you.

"You're breaking up with us, aren't you? We should've known this would happen eventually. I warned them you'd grow tired of us. We've exhausted our good fortune I guess- it was only a matter of time before you realized we didn't deserve-"

"Enough. Jake!" You blink at him utterly stunned by his line of thinking.

"You don't have to-"

"Whatever you're about to say, stop because I'm not breaking up with you and I cannot believe you think I'd grow tired of you. How could you sit here and say you don't deserve me or what we have or- Jake, I love you, all of you, with everything that I am. I can't believe that you still doubt that." You shake your head.

"Y/n no one has ever stuck around. Steven is idealistic and Marc is hopeful, if the other shoe drops one of us has to be able to hold it together for all of us I can't-"

"Jake. There is no other shoe to drop. I am not breaking up with you. I'm not tired of you or giving up on us, I don't think you undeserving of the love I have for you. Other people not loving you is not your fault." You tell him gently, grabbing his face in your hands.

"I do want to believe you but it's not easy to unlearn years of trauma plus what else could you possibly have to tell us that you think we'll take poorly?"

"Jake I'm pregnant." You say. Jake's eyes snap up to yours, wide with shock but you can't pinpoint the secondary emotion swirling in them.

"What?" His voice is barely a whisper.

"I'm pregnant. I was at the doctor today about it, we- could have a baby." You say gently, placing a hand on your stomach. You're only a couple of months along so, if they really were against the idea, terminating the pregnancy is still an option but you're not sure you could go through that and be okay after.

"We're going to be parents?" He asks.

"I know we haven't really talked about kids but-" Jake leaps off the couch before you can finish your thought. As if the news only just clicked in his brain he's suddenly whooping loudly. He even pulls you off of the couch with him.

"We're having a child? You're serious?" He scans your face as he waits for your answer.

"Yeah." You nod.

"You're not leaving." He shakes his head.

"No." You answer even though it was less a question and more a confirmation with himself. He pulls you tightly against his chest with a sigh.

"We're having a child muñequita. A child." He says in disbelief. "Do you think we're ready for this?"

"I don't think anyone is ever ready. But we will all figure it out. Together." You say. Jake makes a sound like a snort and you pull away from his embrace with a questioning glance.

"Steven is scolding me for ever daring to think you'd break up with us." Jake tells you with an eye roll.

"Well he's right about that but save the scolding for later sweetheart. Right now let's just- enjoy the thought of this next phase of our lives." You say leaning into Jake's arms again. You had no reason to worry. You knew they would make wonderful dads and it settled your nerves endlessly to hear the joy in Jake's voice over the news. Everything was going to turn out just fine.

Kissaphobic: Eustass Kid has a crush. A big crush. A crush so big, he’s mad about it. He finds himself drawn into you, seeking you out to sit beside, hunting you to receive your approval and vocal praise - but he will never take it further. His emotions swell so much that it truly frightens him. He is afraid to act on the feelings. He’s kissaphobic.

Themes: fluff, swf, kissing, pining, longing, yearning, unrequited love (Kid assuming) - all those good things.

Notes: the way I can't wait to write Kid angry at himself for being so stupidly in love. I'm still working out the kinks, but I'm almost hellbent on making this reader a Heart-Pirate. The teasing from the crew about reader's "not so secret admirer" makes me all giddy inside. Only thing is, last Kid fic I wrote the reader was also a Heart-Pirate. I gotta work out how to make it a little different.

Kissaphobic: "Your mouth is a hurricane // something sweet before the pain."

Speak Up: Admiring from afar, your eyes followed your captain and his loyal first mate. The way they balanced each other: the rise in their rapport, the friendly claps of palms on shoulders in support of one another, the way they flawlessly picked up where the other slacked. You adored them both so much it made your heart ache, your lungs scream, and throat swell: choking on petals of unrequited love coating your tongue in their floral presence.

Themes: angst, unrequited love (reader assuming x Kid), throuple dynamics, kissing, hanahaki disease, mutual pining (Killer x reader) - I can't wait to carve this one out for you!!

Notes: I have only written hanahaki once before, and I'd never heard about it before then. Confrontational Kid and Supportive Killer both in the same fic, having the reader so overcome with adoration it nearly kills them? I can't even. I love it. Better yet if they take the reader to Torao or Chopper to ask them what's going on with them.

Linger: "But I'm in too deep // you know I'm such a fool for you // you've got me wrapped around your finger"

I'm going through a phase with these two. I'm meant to be loyal to Beckman, but Kid is right there. And his hair looks so soft. And he comes part and parcel with his first mate, Killer. Who's hair also looks so soft.

Yes. It wasn't planned to end like this. But when is anything ever planned?

You are dead tired because it is the middle of the night. A new co-worker is about to arrive, with whom you have a few scenes together. You sip your 5th coffee and spit it right back out when you see who's coming on set.

The Lady of Bear Island, but she is all grown up.

Bella Ramsey is your partner for the rest of the shooting? That's a joke....but you don't feel like laughing because she's what's called an addict. For years now you've been following her projects and trying to stay on top of them.

"Morning" she says, cuddling everyone she already knows. To those she sees for the first time she shakes hands a bit shyly.

"Haah...?" The only thing that comes out of your mouth as Bella shakes your hand. Really?

Get a grip Y/N

"Oh agh..sorry I'm Y/N, nice to finally meet you in person! I mean here on set!" You're totally flummoxed and look down in embarrassment. Bella has to laugh lightly...another one of her super cute giggles.

Shit...now you have to stay calm while working too. This will be pretty hard.

"You're cute" she says dryly without batting an eye. Wait what? Eeeeh.....ok. shit starts getting real.

Days go by and you two get along great. You try not to let anything show, but you have to look at her all the time. Bella doesn't miss that and often stares back cheekily.

"What...? Are you my hardcore fan?"

"And if so?" Yup you just said that out loud.

Bella stares at you and actually got red cheeks this time. Now she's the speechless one.

"Maybe I would like that" her eyes are only on you now.

"Because of you, I can never think clearly on the set."

"Maybe that was my goal from the beginning..." she comes menacingly close, making your breath catch. She kisses you carefully to test if you want it as much as she does.

You can't believe what's happening here and despite a brief hesitation you go in for her kiss. Damn, she's driving you crazy and your break is about to end.

"You are so damn cute. I've felt that since the first time we met."

"Wow...I wouldn't-..I...Me? I've never thought that" you look at her in amazement and Bella finds it hard to pull herself together.

"Are you ok...?" You look at her worriedly.

"Yes...you are just too cute...I just want to go to my place and spend time with you"

"Ok....I'll handle it" you clarify with the film director that you can get a break for today, as if Bella wouldn't feel well and together you go to Bella.

"It's really nice here" you look around relaxed.

"Yes, thank you. I'm lucky that the location is not far away from set" Bella throws herself on the couch and takes a deep breath. "Do you want to join me?" She looks at you with hopeful eyes.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Yes, always, even though sometimes it takes me a while (big time executive dysfunction around these parts). I’m generally the worst when it comes to leaving comments on fic I love because I get nervous and can never come up with something sane and/or worthwhile to say, so I try to show my appreciation for the lovely people who leave me (the unworthiest of cads) lovely comments by at least replying and saying thank you!

6. What is a fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

I guess that would be under the light of a lonely star because it ends on a sort of cliffhanger and one half of the pairing still doesn’t know the other person’s name (which commenters have pointed out was cruel of me and they’re right). I do hope to continue it someday and make it into a full series of some kind but I’m not sure when that will happen. Runner up is damned to pining through the windowpanes, but it’s maybe more wistful slow burn vibes than pure angst. I leave it to the reader to decide.

7. What’s a fic you've written with the happiest ending?

most of them are pretty happy, though I do think I like to leave characters on the precipice of happiness rather than like…on their wedding day or whatever with everything wrapped up perfectly. For argument’s sake, and because I doubt I’ll get to shout it out elsewhere, I’ll say fast forward and we’re taking on the world together because it’s a series post-script about how great the characters lives became later on, which is pretty darn happy.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Nope! I’m very lucky. I do get some (maybe not intentional) backhanded compliments here and there but commenting etiquette can be a tough line to walk sometimes, so I try to imagine people are trying to be nice overall.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Not that I’ve published. It just hasn’t been something I felt drawn to write so far. I have some WIP fics that might be classified that way, though… 👀

10. Do you write crossovers?

I write a lot of AUs but not crossovers, if we’re defining it as “characters from property A interact with characters from property B, and their universes are not canonically connected at all.” It’s just not my jam to write, though I’ve certainly enjoyed reading it in other people’s work!

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not as far as I know!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I don’t believe so!

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Yep! I co-wrote summer came like cinnamon, so sweet with the talented amazing showstopping @firstelevens this past summer after I bullied her into letting me write some stuff for the bake-off AU and it’s my pride and joy and the most fun I’ve ever had writing a fic.

14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

I think from a purely numerical standpoint, it’d have to be Jyn/Cassian but…. I don’t really have a favorite?? There’s a ton of ships I love that I’ve written long fics for and tons I’ve written random one off prompt fills on here that I’ve never posted to AO3 and tons that I love that I’ve never written for, either because it has never occurred to me or because no one’s ever asked! So yeah, deeply bisexual answer, but I cannot choose.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

For stuff with already published installments, I would love to finish my Graceland series some day, add to my Cloak and Dagger AU some more like people have asked, and figure out where to take follow me like the moon eventually, but…my motivation for Rogue One fic has significantly decreased for a variety of reasons (none of which are lack of reader response because god, rogue one fans are the best readers out there, they always show up for the creators in the fandom)

My even more real answer is that I genuinely never expect to finish anything I start 🙈 [bruce banner voice] that’s my secret, cap…

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue, I think? It’s my favorite thing to write so maybe that’s just vanity. I also think I’m good at pastiching different styles, which is helpful since I write a LOT of AUs. Also, recently I’ve been taking a lot more risks in terms of format and style in my fic and I do think I’ve proven more successful at it than I expected to be!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Uh….follow through??? 🫠 I get very distracted easily and tend to have like 200 WIPs at a given time, and maybe if I could focus more or impose any sort of structure on my brain, I would finish more stuff but I am doing this for fun so I believe in following my bliss to an extent. Also, research and world-building are VERY difficult for me and so I avoid writing anything where I’ll have to do a lot of either…

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic.

I don’t think people should be afraid to do it when it’s important/adds value to the story BUT I am also very scared of doing it, haha, so I’m a hypocrite. It’s never come up as a necessity for me yet and I speak very few languages anyway, so…yeah, I don’t have strong opinions on this one, besides be nice to authors who do it and try their best! Fanfiction is free!!! We’re all in this for the love of it!

19. First fandom you wrote for?

UH????? First published fanfic was for Rogue One/Star Wars, but I might have a WIP/draft of a fic for The Newsroom that’s older…

20. Favorite fic you’ve written.

I already said I had the most fun I’ve ever had writing summer came like cinnamon, so sweet with @firstelevens and I just think it’s a perfect rom-com of a fic! But also, sometimes I re-read come and get your honey to cheer myself up because it’s a very light and silly established relationship fic (which fandom generally hates, just looking at kudos/interaction levels, but I adore and I will DIE ON THIS HILL!!!) 🍯🐻

Hi there, just want to give a little feedback for 'Do you feel my hand, it is there' (you don't have to publish this ask). Y/N developed feelings for Minho way too quickly, there was little build up over there. For a doctor and someone who's in his late 20s, the way Minho’s character was portrayed did not mirror that. It was as if he was still in his early 20s and still a little immature. Doctors or someone with a fancy lifestyle don't really drink using a red solo cup, it's more fit for a uni student.

The chapters were also very short. The whole fic could've been combined in 4 chapters. The itilicization was very confusing and overused as well. It was all over the place.

Overall, you're heading in the right direction. Just a few adjustments here and there. I hope to see more of your works in the future!

hmm, wish 1: to be able to reach word count goals in less than a week.

wish 2: to learn how to write plots with dramedy elements. mostly, comedy elements bc gosh, i wish to have that tone in my writing. i wish i had that braincell!

wish 3: to have eyes of a beta reader. just an ability to see errors in my works and fix it up without a beta reader! that’s the dream, fam, tbh.

it started with fanfic in 2018 bc i wanted to read a story that’s only stuck in my head. there were plenty of bumps with commas and multiple ‘the’. and i’m here now with original stories and two incomplete fandom bingo cards. :3

Catching up with my liked surveys, don't mind this quick Christmas-themed one! Or do, whatever floats your boat!

When was the last time you saw snow? ❄️ I have never seen snow and remain to be curious about it. How does it feel like when it lands on you - like drops of rain or like soft fluffy feathers or am I super off? What does it look like up close? Can you actually lie in it without freezing your ass off? It will be A Day when I finally encounter snow, hahaha.

What's your favorite color for a Christmas tree to be besides green?🎄 Green has always felt the most Christmassy, but white also has a certain classy feel to it too.

What are three of your favorite things to do when it's snowing outside? I don't know, I can't relate. I imagine I'd have a sensory interest in it the way I like to play with sand, though.

Which name do you like best for a girl: Gloria, Joy, Holly, Victoria, or Crystal? Holly's cute, it reminds me of Breaking Bad. Victoria is a nice name too but mostly a hit-or-miss for me, as there have been some Victorias who are cool but I've also met some annoying Victorias lol.

Do you own a mini tinsel Christmas tree? 🎄 I don't think I do.

What did you get for Christmas this year? AirPods from my parents, a bunch of knickknacks from my sister but my favorite from her would be a daily journal + a wooden box that plays the chorus of Spring Day; a couple of Namjoon's book recos from Angela...my memory is annoyingly failing me for the rest.

Would you rather bake gingerbread cookies or build a snowman? 🤎☃️ If we're going with things that'd feel more festive to me, I'd pick the cookies.

Have you ever built a snowman out of something that wasn't snow, and if so, what did you use? ⛄️ No. It wouldn't be a snowman then...?

What's the most creative thing you've ever put on top of a Christmas tree? 🎄 Idk we don't really have much allowance to be all witty because my mom would instantly go tHaT's BlAsPhEmY.

Would you say you are joyful and triumphant? Last year I felt neither but I didn't feel shitty either. It was just a meh year.

Which name do you like best for a girl: Epiphany, Winter, Holiday, Laurel, or Grace? Grace.

Do you prefer gingerbread cookies, snickerdoodles, or sugar cookies? I've never had a snickderdoodle but they sound like a delight.

When was the last time you felt completely at peace? 😇 Earlier this month when my term with the account I negotiated to be let go of, ended.

What is your favorite type of pie to eat around Christmas time? 🥧 We don't really eat pie, like in general as Filipinos. That being said the closest thing we have, and it just so happens to be a Christmas treat – is a rice cake called bibingka but personally I'm not a fan.

What is the most creative thing you've ever used as a sled? 🛷 I've never sled(?)ded(??) before.

Would you rather eat fruitcake, angel food cake, or a spice cake? 🍰 I'd give the spice cake a try. I've never heard of it before so I had to look up the ingredients, but even though the combination of spices sound scary and almost gross it definitely still sounds better and more intriguing than horrible horrible fruitcake and boring angel food cake.

Which name do you like best for a girl: Starla, Stella, Angel, Hope, or Victory? Angel. All Angels I know are great people.

Do you like eggnog? I've never had but have been dying to know what it tastes like.

Have you ever made a heart with candy canes for a selfie? I don't think so.

Have you ever used Google's Santa Tracker to see where Santa is on his journey around the earth? 🌎💫 Nope.

What are your favorite Christmas carols? I don't really have a favorite.

Would you rather decorate with a poinsettia, icicle lights, or a tinsel wreath? The lights.

Which candle scent do you prefer: vanilla or cinnamon? Cinnamon sounds and smells like a treat.

Do you like peppermint? It's fine.

Would you rather drink a chai latte, hot chocolate, or a peppermint mocha? ☕️ Either the hot chocolate or peppermint mocha. I've never had a chai latte so not really sure what it would taste like.

Have you ever made your own snow globe? Nope.

Would you rather eat a snow cone 🍧 or ice cream made of snow 🍨? Snow cone. I live in the Philippines – that latter option sounds so unhygienic and gross. Our tap water isn't even potable, so it would be nearly impossible to convince me to make food out of anything that falls on the ground lol.

What is your favorite color for Christmas lights to be? Yellow just gives off that cozy, homey vibe that I love so much. Other colors can never hit it the same way.

Are you having a white Christmas this year? ⛄️ Idk does a white Christmas mean like it's snowy? If so, no.

Have you ever put a Santa hat on your dog? 🐶🎅 Not a hat, but I've had Kimi wear a Santa outfit before so he could turn into his holiday alter ego, Santa Kimi hehe. I got one for Cooper last year but I way way way underestimated his fat ass size and we never were able to put it on him past the head lmao.

Have you ever put a Santa hat on your cat? No.

How many Christmas cards did you receive this year? That's not really a tradition here.

What are you wearing today? Nothing Christmassy, that's for sure haha.

If you could choose between being one of Santa's elves for a day, being a reindeer for a day, or being a snowman for a day, which would you choose, and why? Reindeer, it'd be cool to travel to different places the way they do haha.

Oh! May I request an Obey Me hc with an MC/reader that is a homunculus/artificial human? I don't know if you've seen Fullmetal Alchemist but some of the villains there are homunculi. Basically artificial humans craft by alchemy and can be powered by a couple of different methods - artificial souls, philosopher's stones, or a shard/fragment of a real soul.

Maybe they are horrified or intrigued by the idea of the reader not even being a real human?

As for the characters - Diavolo, Barbatos, Solomon, Belphie, and Simeon? Thank you!

💤 If Belphie likes you, he won’t care what you are, because you are you. There is no reason for him to hate you. He doesn’t even annoy you with questions or anything. As long as he can get a few hugs, he will be happy.

💤 But if he doesn’t like you or doesn’t see you as a friend, he will be guarded around you, as Belphie wants to protect his family and friends. But he will still act normal around you.

👑 Diavolo would be excited and ask you too many questions. “How is it for you to be one? Do you have feelings? Can you use magic or anything? How do you reproduce?” And so much more.

👑 He is very interested and would be happy to gain any information about you, but Barbatos doesn’t want him to be in danger, so he doesn’t and also can’t spend lots of his time with you due to his paperwork too!

💚 Barbatos will be careful around you two, no matter if he sees you as a friend or not. He doesn’t have much knowledge about you. He knows a few things here and there about homunculi, but not about you.

💚 He would never hurt you, except if Diavolo is in danger. But all in all, Barbatos is nice to you and won’t bother you with any questions, as he will always find answers.

😇 Simeon is an angel. A sweet angel, who wouldn’t even harm a fly! He is nice and doesn’t know many things, so when he heard about the news, that you were a homunculus, he had a few questions, but will also apologize to you, if he might bother you with them.

😇 He is even a bit excited and will tell Luke about it, even though he doesn’t much know about homunculi, but will be willing to learn more. For Luke, who wants to know everything and for himself.

🔮 Solomon knows everything. He is old and met many people, so he also figured out what you are. He will not care for it even a bit, as he is very good with his magic and could defeat you easily, if anything goes wrong and you try to destroy the whole world.

🔮 He will also want you to be his student, so he can teach you a few things and to feed you with his wonderful food, as you need to eat more to stay healthy!
