that’s fucking meee. i have this fairy vibe or they often call me hippie. that sensible and humanitarian side it’s there, the wanting to contribute for the best of others, to make that world they dreamed of basing it on the different perspective of others, of what the other have felt and how they have felt when they witnessed it. since the origin, since the depth of things. the path of their life is about to express themselves and to speak for others? The ones that couldn’t spoke? Bc all their life they have been listening to them, looking from a side the reality they’re scared of. -they’ve been psychologists if you want to call it that way-. They want to give love, they have so much love to give. During a period of their life -mostly childhood- they could have felt isolated from the world, these period of time could have been pretty sensible for them and helped them to “open their eyes”, how the world they thought worked was a lie.

Ascendant at Taurus degree (2°, 14° or 26°)

the difference of a person when the degree of the ascendant changes it’s incredible. There’s two people in my life that have aries rising but the one with taurus is completely different of the other. How a person with taurus degree on their ascendant live or the vibe of their life…they want comfort but at the same time have to have what they want, they’re persistent in to what they want and that’s attractive. I have seen people with this placement having a lot of romantic interactions or situationships, it’s easy for them to attract lovers👅 I’ve noticed they make good use of opportunities, they remind me of a bear bc I want to hug them no matter what. They’re realistic or practical. They indeed are critical with food, they need to take their nap to feel good. They’re like old people, how they point out manners and limits people have to have on their perspective and etc. I’ve seen a lot of people with these placement that had moved to their natal place to other bc of the opportunities. could mean also they are part of a family that can provide them economic support or/but with time they had struggle with it.

Ascendant at Aries degree (1°, 13° or 25°)

they’re pretty erratic, they look fucking mad all the time. They’re impulsive, their emotions, their decisions, they don’t know how they ended up the way they ended up. You can see from aside they’re natural liders. however, their whole life they’ve been fighting for being the liders of their life. there’s people around them that don’t understand limits, that think they have the right to control the aries degree life. these placement have to learn that they have the right to stand up for they want even if others don’t want to or don’t let them. they want to have something build by their own, THEIR thing, if not they’ll feel lost. they follow their heart and not doing it will cause problems in the future.

Ascendant at Capricorn degree (10° or 22°)

I have a friend that has Leo ascendant but she wasn’t giving me the stereotypical explosive energy someone expects from a leo. I did my research 😌 and of course she has a Capricorn degree. She is a very career focused person, grounded and driven by her goals. Also an introvert or priorities the company of the ones she likes the most or thinks is the best. She’s studying to be a doctor, her whole life will revolve around her work, she is devoted and has a BIG heart for her loved ones and the ones that would be part of her path. She looks serious. They’re seemed as reserved bc they’re 🤪 and when you get to know them they’re a beautiful soul. They won’t let anything get into their way when it comes to their career and goals, they’ll risk it all. Around their life they’ve had this introverted behavior or they’re Saturn ruled, which means they know bc they have to experience things, little by little but they have had and have to. In other words, they have seen and been in difficult situations that later -bc they have the power- analyzed the situation in 3er person to comprehend bc if not saturn will do what they do🤭

P.S. these notes are based on personal observations and experiences and yours may be similar or drastically different💜💗

Cancer mars tends to experience extremes in emotion. When they're happy, it's just as contagious as when they're mad. They tend to frustrate easily and are passive aggressive. When confronted about their behaviour, they aren't willing to hear it and would rather indadvertedly hint that they're mad at you. They take confrontation as disrespect and are defensive. I feel like you have to feel them out and walk on eggshells to see how they're feeling. On a brighter note, when they love you, you'll always know. They are the type to always go out and get your favourite foods or instinctively buy that shirt you've always wanted. They're very loving and kind yet particular and precise.

Leo suns, ily. You love with every fiber of your being and your affection does not go unnoticed. You guys also don't play around when someone you love gets hurt. On so many occasions, I can remember you guys dropping whatever you're doing and ready to stand up for me and for that, I'm forever grateful🥺

Side note though, when you're mad don't forget to say I love you or something bc you guys get scaryyyyy (I be forgetting you get so mad BECAUSE you love me but geez go easy on my cancerian self) And I noticed that they love to toy around with warm-coloured highlights in their hair (namely reds and blondes)

Virgo placements, namely sun, are not the "neat freaks" everyone makes them out to be and by no means am I saying that they're not. Rather than having a spotless environment, virgoans have a special means of product placement that suits their needs and no one else is supposed to understand it. Me for example, as a virgo rising I can say that my room is a complete mess for those who don't understand the way my mind works. However, if you were to ask me where a particular item is stored, I could find it almost immediately. "Methodical mess" is the name of the game.

Secondly, I notice that virgos, regardless of the person they're interacting with (in-person), tend to almost "size up" the other person they're speaking with, gradually warming up and interacting once they've taken note of the individual regardless of how long they've been known.

As a virgo rising, I can openly admit that I have a rbf problem, sadly. My whole life I've been asked if I'm ok all the while my rbf is a sign that I'm focused and alert, actively scanning my surroundings. I promise I'll converse if initiated😔 also, the whole thing about this placement appearing younger is so true in my case. People always assume I'm at least 2-3 years younger

Libra suns, as a libra moon, you guys just get me. Whenever I speak with you, I feel like I don't even have to finish my sentences, you know how I feel. You guys are down to earth and understand my absolute need to play devil's advocate when it comes to pretty much any decision I have to make in my life. What I will say in contrast though is that you guys know what you're doing when you try to guilt trip me. It hurts me when you guys play the victim, genuinely like can we just talk all level-headed and calmly?

Aries suns give off child-like energy in the best way possible. When hanging out with them, you'll always find yourself somewhere you never thought you'd be. As fun as it can be, they are also very stubborn with seemingly all the wrong things like I wouldn't suggest a heavy coat if it weren't -20°C outside???

6H Uranus is prone to have a routine that is perceived as unusual/unconventional to others. People may outwardly express their confusion and try to make them conform to their method (i.e sporadic cleaning over the course of a couple days).

Taurus suns and honestly earth suns altogether are such a vibe. You guys are almost down for whatever, especially taking a liking to anything outdoors. I love walking around and chatting about life with you guys.

Cancer suns I feel can be a hit or miss. I find that the majority of those I've met, tend to exhibit introverted traits whether they are or not. They're very timid individuals that is until they're not and they're great friends to just walk in silence with. As for those who never did "warm up", they seem very sweet but it just ends up as me feeling like I'm talking too much and just going quiet abruptly 🧍🏽‍♀️

2H moon 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾 shopping spree to release stress, sadness

Scorpio suns are such sweethearts, so kind and so giving. You guys are the type of friends who will patiently listen as you pour your heart out to them. So patient and gentle

Water sun, air moon can be a dangerous combo. The native is sensitive and harbours many emotions though the air moon prevents them from truly being able to feel them out. This makes them more inclined to have a breakdown which, from others perspectives may appear random. Try journalling or even video diaries to candidly speak about your emotions (at least that's what helps me cope since I struggle so deeply with speaking).

THE NEON LEON

(II) Why he needs to fail at being a leader

Inspired by Skulltrot's Leo analysis on Youtube (WATCH IT, IT'S SO GOOD, I LOVE IT)

What? Crystal! You're contradicting yourself-

Shhhh! This is poetry, listen to me

One of the reasons i've seen people complain about rise leo, is his overall "confidence".

They find him annoying or reduce him to "the funny guy", the one that messes everything up in the movie and deus ex machina's his way to the power of friendship.

But honestly, i think this is so far from the truth; Leo is integral to the concept and culmination of the rise turtles, he cements the message this version of the turtles has been trying to explain from the beginning.

You can't do everything alone; trust those who love you, and love those who you trust.

But honestly, i think a lot of people forget that we've all probably felt like him before.

Leo is quite a complicated character to understand easily (mostly bc the rise series got horribly cut down and omg i'm still hurting), because an important part of his character is he will literally never be honest about what he's feeling. The only thing he talks about? How he knows (bc he doesn't just think it, he's so sure about it) nobody trusts him or thinks he's capable of holding his own weight.

He comes off as uninterested and goofy because he so desesperately clings to that portrayal of himself because he needs to trick both others and his own mind that he's fine.

He doesn't think he's enough, he believes the team would be perfectly fine without him. He thinks he needs to prove he can do something so he can be valuable to the team.

And i think it's amazing

"Rise of the TMNT", the title already gives away the purpose of their different personalities and coping mechanisms on this version of the story. We're not meant to see an structured team of properly trained ninjas, we're here for the ride, we are walking alongside them as the team gets in line and learn how to be heroes.

Sure the other versions of the turtles had their own character arcs, you don't need to see something from the instant beginning to know the characters are growing, but rise has always felt more of a love letter to the turtle family itself. A complete exploration of an alternate universe where the mad dogz got to somewhat live as teenagers before earning the mantle as protectors of the world (and new york lol).

We're familiar with Leonardo's story in evey tmnt version, he's the leader. He's in charge of protecting the city and his family.

But the problem is always there, he fears he won't be enough, that he will fail to be the leader the world asks him to be. This is also something we see in rise leo but it's more...fresh? It feels naturally younger.

Were you never nagged about not taking things seriously when you were younger? Were you never yelled at for messing things up? Didn't you ever feel as if you had to prove to others that you were more they perceived you to be?

As someone that battles their own inferiority complex, leo feels...so easy to relate to.

He didn't ask for the responsability, and he kind of doesn't want it, but he learns to bear it properly.

He fails to be the good leader they expect him to be (i also have the theory he self-sabotages himself a lot?) but he learns to be more than what they expect.

To quote myself from my last post (yes i loved typing that) "a leader is not the one that orders, but the one that motivates and supports you". He learns how being a leader is not imposing or bearing every problem and responsability alone, but to motivate your team and guide them to never loose hope.

He uses everything he already knows about himself and his team to be better and guide them to a new version of the ninja turtle gang, one where family and trust is far more important than anything else (and it feels good to know we won't have the typical raph vs leo fight for leadership in the future- i mean there was a fight BUT IT WASN'T ABOUT THAT)

Someone stop me i might just start a tmnt rant loop of my own making and i'm enjoying it😭

- let's start with the obvious: he is a cancer rising with a leo moon - he def knows he's hot and though he's a little more humble than the other two (cough cheol and mingyu) he still enjoys the attention. he def isn't picky he flirts with. he would literally flirt with someone just so he can see how flustered they get and then dismiss it like it was nothing "what i was just being friendly". i hope he chokes - def uses his water sign side to read people and their emotions to get an upper hand. like one time they were at the party and there was girl that tagged along with cheol's date and no one else is picking up on her not really wanting to be there and he knows that hansol and mingyu thinks she's cute but of course wonwoo is observant and uses this to win her over. just for shits and giggles tho. he's not looking to date her. - he's a know it all and good at almost anything he does. he pretends to be nonchalant about it but god he loves it when people come to him for help esp when oc's macbook air was acting up bc she insisted on playing sims on it. wonwoo has always held it over her head that he cleaned out her laptop and gave her his external hard drive. - acts like he's too good for childish games. when in fact he's the one that eggs his friends on. "it was my idea but i didn't do it." babes u bet them $5 they wouldn't jump in the freezing pool... - so moody omfg. one minute he's giving you the cold shoulder and then all of a sudden "why are you ignoring me? did i make u mad?" i will bite him. - omfg so possessive like "who was that why did he drop you off?" first of all he's my friend second of all we're not dating why r u marking ur territory u said we were just friends bye

Omg thx for asking, I do actually!! If you go further down my page, I draw her human form for a fanfic I really love. I don’t have a name for her yet bc names are hard :/ BUT! I do have a little backstory for her

She is a battle nexus champion, but she occasionally works as a debt collector of some sorts for big mama. She hates getting her hands dirty so she uses magic claws as weapons. You can’t see it bc of the angle her hand is in, but in her glove, there’s an oval shaped gem that creates the claws for its user. If she has the gloves off, she can’t create those claws.

She loves magic! It’s so fascinating to her and she wants to study hard to be the very best sorcerer there is, but due to some unconventional events she’s got a bad rep at witch town, so she tends to steal magical artifacts when she’s out.

The reason she always goes back to big mama and her battle nexus is bc she’s a black cat, which isn’t bad at all but her power is probability control. She can manipulate fortune AND misfortune, but she struggles to control her magic which ends up inconveniencing to even hurting others around her. She can steal peoples luck as well to give her an upper hand in battle, which is why her eyes can glow a bright yellow.

For a cat with bad luck, there really isn’t any option for her but to go back to the place that accepts her even if it’s for their entertainment.

Now she isn’t the strongest physically, so she relies on her speed, magic and tools to win battles. She uses Mantis styled fighting techniques in hand to hand combat, but a flaw she has when fighting is that she puts too much focus on one thing she forgets about her surroundings which could potentially hurt her or allies.

Id like to believe she’s quiet but when she gets to know you, she gets very chatty, a bit snarky, overzealous, and pretty quick witted. She always has a trick up her sleeve…she has a lot of things up there. Very mischievous, sometimes can go too far with her tricks. Lowkey a bit condescending, but she chill ig.

She’s def a morally gray character, a bit chaotic neutral, the kind that does good or bad stuff for her benefit and maybe her friends too.

She’s known big mama since she was a kitten, so she knows her way around battle nexus ( may or may not be big mamas fav ).

She was born as a twin, her sister being a white haired kitten, both parents had white fur so u see where this is going. Kinda the black sheep in the family, she’s always causing trouble but she means well, her sister is the complete opposite tho. Has the power cause luck and take misfortune away, her sister became the favorite but she got a nasty personality. They always budded heads and fought but eventually her sister and her friends provoked her to the point she scratched her sister in the face out of self defense, the parents got mad and tried to declaw her but she ran away.

Now idk where in time I would like her to meet the turtles and April, but I have a story in my head inspired by some fanfic I read.

So she gets called into big mamas office for a new assignment, capture the turtles alive and bring them to her. Usually when she out she doesn’t have the authorization to bring her targets to the hotel, just to collect and come back. Even if she did, I’d be taken care of by goons, not big mama personally, so she’ll def recognize that it’s a big job if big mama is telling her this personally.

So she conducts research on the turtles but stalking them pretty much and finds out they’re friends with a girl named April O’Neil, so she uses a cloaking choker to enroll at her school and befriend April. It works and eventually, the turtles do some stupid shit and end up getting “found out” by her and April.

Slowly they all become friends (Leo has his suspicions) and eventually she gets invited to the lair by Mikey. She becomes the closest to him not only bc he’s the most social, but he has great magical potential, and she’s intrigued.

Once she gains all of their trust (may take a while) she eventually calls all big mamas goons to their lair and captures them, but at this point, she knows they’re actually good people and not the usual targets she gets assigned to, so after an inner battle with herself, she caves and lets them go, despite the fear in her veins at the thought of big mamas wrath.

I don’t wanna spoil TOO much abt this even tho I most definitely did💀

I wanna write abt her story and her relationship with the turtles and April (specifically one turt in particular;) idk I’m open to any suggestions and as always, sorry if this is a bit all over the place :))

The turtles getting their groceries from shipping containers/trucks?? Brilliant! Love that take!

I was pressed when I read that Leo was going to have a crush on April, but I actually didn't mind it in this case. (Even though I 100% prefer for them to just be best friend's/family and would never want to see April with any of them). Like Leo being such a nerd made it work plus April didn't show any interest in him, so it didn't bug me like I thought it would. Now if they try to turn that into something in the future then we're gonna have a problem, but it being a one-sided thing that Leo will hopefully grow out of (quickly!) is fine.

Speaking of April, I LOVE this version of April, and I love how they switched up the reporter thing a bit with her being super anxious to be on air bc it made way for some character progression. I do tend to prefer her being quite a bit older than the turtles, but I feel like her being a teen like them works in this universe.

Also, I love it when Leo is characterized as a nerd who says cringey/nerdy things sometimes and they delivered on that beautifully here with his speeches. It's veryyy 2k12 Leo vibes. Fucking loved it. Especially loved it when Leo actually had an amazing rousing speech during the Superfly fight scene and then after Raph complimented him on it, Leo started geeking out about how cool he sounded LOL. Obsessed.

"GO NINJA, GO NINJA, GO!" I started screaming when this started playing!! Secret of the Ooze reference let's gooo!

The milking... THE MILKING... the nipples and the milking!! Mikey and Raph got milked!! That running joke killed me. Also, since Mikey got milked first, I couldn't help but compare that to 2k3 when Bishop was going to use a saw to cut into Mikey's carapace while all the other bros had to watch. Althouuugh... ngl, I kinda wish Raph had gone a little more berserk over Mikey getting milked since he's so protective, but I understand they were trying to keep the mood light even though... it was... a torture scene... so uhhh... anyway.

All in all, I thought it was super fun and I couldn't stop laughing the entire time. There was still kiiinda more of a Leo focus this time around, but it wasn't nearly as much as the Rise movie, so I'm glad it felt more balanced between each brother (and thank god we didn't have to sit through another Leo vs. Raph type of beef thing).

I think in terms of characterization, Leo was definitely characterized the best and felt IC. I feel like there could've been a bit more development for Donnie, Raph, and Mikey. Donnie had his anime/kpop thing, Raph had his love for violence, and then Mikey... there wasn't anything super defining about him other than maybe the fact that he signed up for the improv team try outs. But honestly, I'm not that mad at it because I'm sure they'll get more fleshed out in the TV show that's coming in the future. Now that they're attending school, I do kinda hope that Donnie takes some kinda robotics/woodworking/science classes because I'd love to see him develop the skills he's always depicted with.

As for my fav, I mean, it should be noted that Mikey is always my guy and that I'm usually going to focus on him the most in every scene, but other than him, I'd say Leo. I also really enjoyed April, Splinter, and Superfly though.

He values friendships greatly and cares for his friends a lot. He may find a romantic interest through friendship first. Sun conjunct Venus is expressive and charming, able to get along well with many people. Although his Venus is in retrograde, so he may be a little awkward at expressing his affections. Not one for conflict, prefers peace and harmony. This peacemaker trait is emphasized more with Moon trine Venus aspect, especially as both are placed in relationship houses (7th and 11th).

Moon Aquarius in 7th - Having close relations gives him emotional security. He may not show it well due to having an air moon (his air placements seem to make Seoho a bit aloof and reserved from affection), but he values the relationships he has. Should be careful about being impulsive and brash, can say harsh things when he gets very heated. Although his mars in taurus may calm this a little bit.

Mercury and Mars Taurus in 10th - Mercury in Taurus definitely explains that lovely voice of his! Many singers with Taurus Mercury have such pretty tones and amazing range of notes and emotions. His impressive vocal ability and sound (mercury) has given him recognition (10th). Mars in Taurus is in detriment though. Mars is aggressive and active, ready to go but Taurus goes against it since the sign is much calmer and slower than Mars is comfortable with. Mars in Taurus is also quite passive, which Seoho is - he doesn't really fight with the other members (although all the members have admitted to being passive/passive-aggressive to each other when mad lol), he lets people do whatever to him sometimes. E.g the time Leedo was playing around by pulling on his limbs and i was actually worried that Seoho would crack in half since Leedo's so strong, yet Seoho just laughed it off. Also the time he was playing a game with Tomoons (animal crossing iirc) and he did absolutely nothing when Tomoons stole his stuff in the game.

Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune in 6th - With all three in the 6th, it seems he can get bored easily? Routines and structure is not his thing, he needs variety and fun in his life. Neptune can make him more sensitive about his health and can be afflicted easily with sicknesses and other health risks.

Saturn in 9th - Practical and solution oriented, careful with decisions and planning. May have strong beliefs or none at all (I haven't seen him mention any personal beliefs so far tho). Realistic and usually self controlled.

Pluto in 4th - Deep transformative connection within family dynamics. There could also be power struggles within family. This could possibly affect his other relationships...there seems to be a theme of companionship in Seoho's chart.

Chiron in 3rd - Wound of being misunderstood and overthinking the way he speaks and expresses himself.

North node in 3rd - In the house of communication and learning, it seems Seoho should focus on connecting with others. He will learn and grow more when he talks with others; discover new things from other people instead of digging through things by himself. To not forget about others, work on cooperation. Hello! I’ve started ‘03 pretty recently (like, within the past two weeks or so) and I have been enjoying it immensely! I’m currently on about early-to-mid season 4

I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on the show! For starters, who’s your favourite character(s)?

oh my stars I LOVE SEASON 4 it's like. my favorite season of TMNT03, mostly bc of Leo since he is. my favorite in TMNT03 lmfao

tbh it's kind of hard to pick a favorite?? mostly bc i IMMENSELY enjoy all of the brothers in this iteration, similar to Rise, but i gotta admit that i always had a slight penchant for Mikey in almost all TMNT iterations – except the 07 movie and Bayverse (Bayverse Donnie my beloved). anyway. i enjoy the dynamic of the boys SO MUCH in 03, like, it's duking it out with Rise for first place in my heart, i just love it that much. they have SO much sibling energy, especially Mikey and Raph, the way they hurl insults at each other is fucking HILARIOUS bc Raph always goes for Mikey's intelligence (or lack thereof in his opinion) meanwhile Mikey just gleefully says Raph is butt-ugly AND STICKS TO IT. LIKE HIS GO TO INSULT FOR RAPH IS TO CALL HIM UGLY IDK WHY THATS SO DAMN FUNNY TO ME AJHHJD.

also i just really like how there isnt really a whole singular duo dynamic in 03 bc i remember in 12 they had this Team A and Team B thing going on, which i wasnt a huge fan of. the boys get to mix it up pretty regularly and i enjoy their different dynamics so much, such as Raph & Donnie (the twinsies) and Leo & Mikey (big bro & lil bro combo). dont even get me started on the characterisation; 12 Donnie really left a bad mark on him bc the writers bungled him up so much, and while i adore Mad Scientist Donnie in Rise, there is something so endearing about gentle and soft-spoken nerd Donnie in 03 (and Bayverse). Raph really gets to show off his more protective side in this iteration too, which i LOVE!! and everyone knows i have a huge bias for Mikey and i absolutely adore him here bc while im a fan of lil baby bro Mikey (12 and Rise) i fucking love how much more boyish and innocently insensitive he is in 03, like yeah thats a teenage boy who would sneak out to attend a rowdy party LMAO. 12 also kind of made me dislike Leo a little (again. what were the writers thinking especially with KARAI HIS SISTER??) but i loved him in Rise, so again, i was surprised that i LOVE 03 Leo, who's a lot more traditional but also has super endearingly dorky moments. and s4 Leo is just. [SCREAMS].

yeah im so normal about TMNT03 i promise i promise im so normal yeah you can stick your hand into the bars of my cage haha i wont do anything i promise im normal–

5. What work of yours got more feedback than you expected?

so on the one hand, my danny phantom fics always get a lot of attention and it always leaves me a little surprised, but on the other hand, that fandom is very fic focused, so at the same time it Doesn't really surprise me when i get a lot of kudos for them. what surprises me more is how much other fandoms DON'T comment or bookmark or follow fics lol. i was seriously spoiled with those lol

as for a fic that's gotten more feedback, uhhhh hm. a couple of my dp fics have done better than i thought they would, yeah, but i also have this bleach fic that's in second person that seems to have come across really well, so i guess that one's the most surprising lol

aftershocks has done really well, but that's not surprising considering the talent that went into it, the fact we updated every week, and the word count, but it still baffled me as we were updating it how well it was doing lol

15. What WIP are you taking into next year with you?

definitely my rottmnt separated au (chapter 1 is posted on ao3 as sunset hues, jetpack blues (SHJB)) lol. ive been putting a lot of effort into it, more than i give most of my fics, tho i'm realizing now as i'm working more on planning i may have jumped the gun a bit and posted it a biiit early?? but also i wanted to post it on my birthday so i'm not so concerned about that kdshbfhdsf

when i post chapter 2 (which is basically done except for the final revision i need to give it), i'm gonna reread chapter 1 as well and make sure it's up to date with the minor stuff i left out bc i hadn't nailed down some specifics yet (but dw, it'll be Very minor and won't effect the plot lol)

besides that, i have oneshot prompts i wanna fill out and i have a fic in the works i'm calling Fallout, which is inspired by fall out boy songs (which ive been thinking about since like february/march when "love from the other side" dropped lol)

i also lowkey wanna try to get a fic done for danny phantom's 20th anniversary in april but idk how that's gonna go lol. i'm still very focused on ninja turtles

of my 54 works on ao3 Fluff seems to be my most used tag with 10 times, which is. lowkey a surprise LOL. Hurt/Comfort comes in second with 7 (tied with "not beta read" and a tag for a danny phantom fic event) and Angst is in third with 6 (barring the two that i'm not counting lol)

going by just my rise fics, first place tag goes to Donatello and Leonardo are Twins (TMNT) with 6 of my 8 fics (ao3 says 9, but one of them is aftershocks, which i won't include bc it's a collab) and only reason it's not all 8 is bc i didn't tag it in fics where it's not a main focus lol

i have a lot of stuff i Really enjoyed tbh. there's a fun little action sequence i wrote for a later part of SHJB that i liked (that i'll prolly have to rework a little), there's a few Other parts of my prewritten SHJB stuff i enjoy, there's a bunch of stuff in my rise august fills i really liked...

but i think for a single line/passage, i'll go with this bit from the beginning of my fic what's in a name? (which is also posted here on tumblr!!)

Donnie, not bothering to look up from his phone, flaps a hand in the air dismissively. “I keep all my anger bottled up in here,” he taps his chest, “and hope one day it will just kill me. Like a normal person,” he adds, as if what he just described is unequivocally a universal experience.

this entire piece was a lot of fun to write and there's some more silly lines in this i really enjoyed but i think this is the one i think about the most, like the exchange directly after this lol

Leo purses his lips and steeples his hands, holding this fingers to his mouth. “So that’s a yes to the mad, then.” “Or it could be, like, the coo-coo for cocoa puffs type of mad!” Mikey chimes in, crossing his eyes and swirling a finger beside his ear. “Y’know, like British people say.” “Ew,” Leo says, because that’s all that needs to be said about that.

ok so this is my first time doing match up i kinda know who im gonna get but i wanted to try anyways (in my delulu era btw)

so im 21, entp, leo sun libra moon cancer rising, virgo mercury, cancer venus, sagittarius mars, 160 cm, i am afab and i am mostly comfortable with the gender i was assigned at birth but is this really important idk

lmy hobbies include talking and with talking i mean lots of talking(i was in the debate team in high-school), walking, biking, binge watching, cooking and baking, and of course listening music. i usually listen emotional songs or songs to go crazy no in between. for example i listen mitski at least an hour a day but i also listen the most energetic stuff out there like crayon pop bar bar bar. i really love languages and linguistics. i love dc comics, my favorite character is zatanna. i love playing videogames and especially if it is with my friends. zatanna is my favorite thing in the world btw but i can talk about batman and batfamily nonstop.

i usually get along with everyone but i am kinda paranoid believing that they don't actually like me. like they usually say that i am kind, friendly and cool but it doesn't convince me. i have a cat named robin bc i am the batman duh... i love her she is my rock. i study english language teaching. some say im manipulative but i honestly have no idea what im doing to manipulate them? i have a pretty dark sense of humor but it is not offensive at the slightest. i bully ppl i love but i also worship them again no in-between. i am respectful and helpful but if it is my family i am the opposite bc of the trauma lol.

and the things i dislike include harry potter(im the biggest hater ngl), iron man, scarlet witch, the music eva max is doing(but in the most respectful way), harry styles(not in a respectful way i despise this man), people who say superman is boring, selfishness, not putting an effort to understand other people's feelings, most men, people constantly criticizing me, myself, people who say astrology is stupid

what my potential partner can do to make me happy: they can draw zatanna for me im a simple person i love zatanna and everything they do that is slightly related to zatanna would automatically make me happy, cuddling sessions, trolling people on the internet together, them being patient with me, them liking my cooking/baking, having inside jokes together, them getting my sense of humour, them being my safe space, them being happy, them listening/reading/watching the list i made for them and linking it, them doing the same to me, them telling me their struggles and thinking that i understand them, them not getting mad at me

I also LIVE for his Brooklyn accent. I also hc if we got more screentime of him in the sequel, he'd be the most chill turtle. I believe there's a deleted scene of him talking to Leo at the end of the movie, and his tone/mannerisms were very mellow. 2007!Raph is mad chill

There's a deleted scene of Donnie and Splinter, it's called "let him eat cake" on youtube I believe- he would've been a bop if they kept that scene in! I feel like there was a lack of Donnie scenes in this- but I like that this movie was focused on Raph so I can't complain.

In a deleted scene it reveals Donatello loves money, he's also a flop bc he takes Mikey's money away so he can't buy dumb shit for the lair, at least let the man keep more than a $5 ya know?

BIGGEST BOP OF THE CENTURY! This version of Leonardo is my all time favorite. He even beats Rise Leo by a few! I can't explain it, but this Leonardo- the first one we see that's more upbeat and not so serious, I loved it! They gave him interests other than training or being a leader- they gave him a love for a show he devotes his time to! be fuckin fr.

Also played tea time with some random ass lil girl, it was so cute. I loved to see Leo be put in situations where he's just being him.

So yes this is very biased but idc, he's my fave. One thing about 2012 Leo he gon get to the bag no matter what.

He also literally SLAYED Shredder and brought his head! OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!

We don't rely on Mikey for comedic relief, we can rely on him to be sporadic and chaotic though! i love this version of Mikey, this one is my favorite. Point blank my fave!

I loved your TMNT '03 art and had to check you out! (Great work on all your fandoms BTW <3) I think one things I like about the 03' series was how they dealt with anger. Not just Raph's either. No, we see Leo, Don, and even Mikey get angry & enraged. But the most stark difference is how they react to anger. With enemies? They are getting beat or dying. But Raph & Leo may take out some of their anger on their family. Don & Mikey don't violently act out to family, even when mad.

Also .... I do agree that overall, all the boys tends to have some anger management issues in the show and that there are some patterns....But I don't think they're *that* violent to each other ? Honestly the first time I watched the 2003 show, I thought the 'angry one' was Raphael, like everyone else. He is at first glance, the one the most ready to throw hands on a whim. At first glance. I'm currently re-watching the show (I might vlog about it who knows) and I do observe some …Let's say 'anger' in all the boys. Idk how this went over my head, but 2003 Leonardo a hot headed guy. Like... Holy shit kid CHILL. No wonder him and Raph tend to snark at each other often. Yet I wouldn't say that Raph or Leo have that much of a tendency to be physically violent to their other family members. Yes, there is that one time where Raph almost sent Mikey to his grave the hospital, but that's... Pretty obvious that's not something Raph lived well. He never went to that point again in 2003 and Leo never went there. Raph sometimes does still playfully swat Mikey (which doesn't makes it ok but it is a classic big brother dick move) but it doesn't get beyond that, unless when they are training. And beside the playfull shove there and there, I have never seen 2003 Raph or Leo angrily attack Don. I Cannot imagine Raph or Leo being absolute dicks to Don in 2003 tbh. (That's...More of a 2012 thing.) And when Raph and Leo do fight over something, it's not that often physical, and rarely bc the two are angry. Mostly, one is being a major dumbass because he is angry and the other points it out. For example : In season 1 for 2003, Leo was miffed coz Splinter told him Katanas weren't superior weapons, though the lesson here was mostly : 'don't get cocky kid'. Leo learns later but is he PISSED at first. Raph sasses him on being a hothead….Just like him. "Dude that's MY thing, what even ? lol "

( On that note, I initially didn't realize how much of a brat Leo was in 2003, I always thought he was a stuck up and thought he was boring. BOI was I wrong. I love this absolute dork. ) So yeah, they butt heads sometimes... ...But they are not in the level that their 2007 movie counterparts were capable of. For those who don't know, Raph and Leo have a pretty severe fight. It's not exactly explicit, but at the end of said altercation, it's kind of hinted that this was much heavier than what the ones they were used to. (I wouldn't call that an almost murder tho, unlike a lot of people said at the time.) On that note, hate it or like it, but that movie is probably responsible for starting the whole era of Raph and Leo clashing HARD that we all thought was the natural status quo for a while. (And tbh I am GLAD Rise got us out of that. I don't think it's a bad trope, but it was getting old. Xp)
