Summer Drabble Prompt Day 5: Kiss

Kiss

"Dean their getting closer," Castiel hissed through gritted teeth. The Federal Agents, possessed by the weeks newest Demons sliced through the crowds with their guns drawn.

"Shit, uh under here Cas." Dean yanked the angel behind the escalator." Kiss me."

"What?" Castiel, who had faced monsters and Gods alike looked terrified.

"Kiss me, trust me Cas. I saw it in a movie!"

"Dean what movie?" Castiel all but gulped. Dean grabbed a hold of the angel's tie and pulled him close. Their nose's bumped together awkwardly, Dean's breath stuttered. His ears were roaring but his eyes only saw blue. Castiel kissed him like a force of nature, a tornado, an earthquake with TONGUE! Castiel wrapped himself up in Dean like he'd been dreaming of it for the decade they'd known each other. Dean was melting with the heat of it. The demons passed them by, purposely averting their black eyes. Castiel and Dean however, kept on kissing.

Why hello there!!

Greetings! Crepe here!

Before we start...I haven’t used Tumblr since 2016-2017. Yes! I was originally from Tumblr!!

I do still have my previous account but I don’t think I’ll be using it anymore so hello!! It does seem weird typing in a long blog way instead of short limited messages like the way Twitter had. But honestly I think the way I type/talk is more suitable for Tumblr. Something I did miss from when I started doing Twitter instead of Tumblr is having my own theme.

I made this account somewhere uuh... Honestly I don’t remember! But I did plan on moving here before the Twitter news.

Guess I have new reasons on doing so. I’ll probably end up ranting/talking about random stuff in my head!

it's incredible that tumblr fandom went from DESPERATELY trying to see ANY sort of queer love in the shows we liked, to having shows—high budget, well-made, interesting, mainstream shows staring known actors—that are ABOUT queer love. explicitly, without argument. and just ten years later.

i saw (and reblogged) a post about how GO, ofmd, and wwdits are the new superwholock and i havent stopped thinking about it. cuz i was there, i was in the trenches back in the day. i was there when the writers and actors made fun of us for seeing on screen chemistry and perfect stories to set up romances. they all humored us then shat on us and saw us as a joke. a bunch of weirdo faggy teens that don't think two men can just be friends.

and now look at us. we're seeing the on screen chemistry and it's REAL. it's ON PURPOSE. these ARE romantic stories about queer people. we're not projecting or have wishful thinking... it's TRUE!! it was written and directed and edited and acted that way in earnest. i will take NO SHIT regarding these shows and people's love for them.

and do you know WHY these shows are being made now? these well thought out, feels-real, non-pandering queer stories? it's BECAUSE OF WHAT WE DID ten+ years ago. a lot of queer media never got the green light to be made because execs don't think there's enough of an audience. that more people will dislike the gays than like them. and we've shown them that that's unequivocally untrue. the outcry we had for all those years, the reviews we left, the statements we made, the backlash, it gave show runners ammunition to say "hey. people will watch this. they will like it. let us make it."
