Hello!!! Love love LOVE your Charlastor and Hazbin artwork; your art is amazing!!

I have a feww questions if you’re comfortable with answering them (no worries if not) :D

I love hearing people’s music recommendations, so I was wondering if you listen to music whilst you draw and if there’s any songs in particular that make you think of the characters and/or the ship?

Also, I get a bit nervous posting about Charlastor because of some of the hate it gets in the fandom and because some of my irl classmates who follow me don’t like the ship (and don’t know I like it), so I was wondering what your general mindset is when you post your art online, but also what your mindset is like when posting Charlastor art, knowing what the fandom can be like?

Finallyy, I wanted to ask if you’ve read Under My Skin by whamagram on AO3 and if you have, what are your thoughts on it? It’s a mature slowburn Radiobelle fic and only has a few chapters out so far, but it’s updated pretty regularly and has become my new favourite at the moment! I highly highly recommend it because it’s super well-written, really witty, and really understands the characters. It’s all about Charlie nursing Alastor back to health after the final battle in season 1 and it’s just so well done!!

Again, just want to say that I really really love your work and thank you for sharing it! I especially love how you draw expressions and the way you draw characters and their emotions feels so real. Seeing your illustrations inspires me to keep practicing with my own art!

As for your next question...

This isn't my first rodeo in the unpopular non-canon het presenting ship club, so there's a few things I like to remind myself of when I feel that people pleaser anxiety sneaking up on me:

1)

if people truly wanted to avoid content of the ship, they'd block the tags. Maybe kindly ask your friend to block the charlastor and radiobelle tags bc you want to post about them? This way they're not forced to see what they dislike and you get to have your harmless fun. If they're opposed to this, question why. It's not your job to curate *their* online experience, they do have all the necessary tools at their disposal.

2)

I consider the source material like a toy box. You can play with the dolls in it like the packaging intended for you to, but there's no rules dictating that you can't play *your* way if that's more fun to you.

Canon is in my eyes the preferred suggestion, but not the law - don't we all just smush the heads of dolls together making kissy noises in our minds at the end of the day?

A lot of people sadly treat shipping like it's a battle for author validation, when in reality it was always just a way to playing with hypotheticals and exploring the world and characters canon offered us in new and interesting ways... I hate the attitude some people have about canonicity. Imo, as long as you're not acting like your non-canon ship should be canon and shit on other ships in the process, you're not doing any harm.

Now... Canon sexualities and having contrary headcanons are a tricky road to travel because there's so much emotional investment in the canon representation of often overlooked or mishandled minority groups, and this is the biggest anti argument I've seen get thrown around, since Charlastor as a ship not only splits up the canon lesbian pairing, but also alters Alastor's canon sexuality to make the ship work.

What's important here is that you handle it respectfully - i.e. don't be a dick and go around acting like your preferred ideas are better and should be canon or whatever. Attitude is important, respect canon for what it is and embrace the fact that your ship is not. It's not a detriment! It just means we have to make all of our own content lol.

I personally headcanon Alastor as demisexual/demiromantic not only because it still fits under the aspec umbrella, but also because I myself am both of those things and enjoy messing with the characters and narrative using a dynamic I have a lot of personal experience with! It's fun to hit someone as haughty and stubbornly emotionally detached as Alastor with a flurry of unexpected, unwanted feelings and struggling to navigate them.

Do I want that to be canon? Absolutely not! I'm just having fun with my imaginative toys in my own corner of the internet lol.

Also for the record, I think Chaggie is cute and they should absolutely stay together, I just don't find them interesting enough to explore further in the realm of fanfiction and art :'D

Ultimately I'm a strong believer of "I can post whatever I want forever", if anyone has an issue with it and the given tools at their disposal aren't enough to deal with it, they're free to unfollow and/or block me! I don't need anyone's approval to have harmless fun with my artistic and writing skills where I don't bother anyone, and that's imo always what should be at the core of creating just about anything.

From my conversations with @drcranessweetestdoe, she does not behave like Kill (nor does her writing style compare to his), and I am pretty positive he is incapable (or at least very bad) at taking on different personalities since I believe I witnessed his attempt with the second account you mentioned. Aurora is very sweet, and she used to be a fan of Kill's writing and mine. I don't want people to be suspecting her of foul play because I do believe she is genuine. Kill has a pattern of reblogging fics as a way of seeing what victims he can latch onto and I see that as a coincidence with his reblog of Monster's.

As for @monsterfromthewoods... I was hesitant to make a callout, mainly because no one has actual solid proof that he is Kill. But, there is too much evidence for me to ignore, and I wanted to give my honest opinion and observations. Monster, if you are not this person, feel free to reach out and vouch for yourself, and if I am wrong, I am deeply sorry.

Fuck that. As I was typing this message up, I decided to check my DMs and noticed that my friend had said that he gave her the same name that, as of this morning, was revealed to me as his actual name along with his real picture and Facebook profile. That really sealed the deal for me. Here is the rest of my evidence to prove that this is "Kill":

Monster followed my friend around the same time that she blocked Kill.

Monster followed me the same day that I sent Kill a confrontational message, calling him out for his lies and pleading with him one last time for medical treatment and answers.

From the posts on Monster's account, and the one comment I know he made on my friend's post, his personality exactly fits Kill's. This is why I said I do not think he is capable or likely to be able to craft a believable persona.

Monster made a post about suicide, and a pro-Palestine post, the former of which Kill discussed with me a lot and the latter my friend pointed out as suspicious since Kill was also very strongly pro-Palestine. Seeing as Monster doesn't have that many posts yet on his blog, this isn't irrefutable evidence but it is very coincidental.

Lastly, I actually did my best to analyse and compare Kill and Monster's writing, since I had recalled a few things that stuck out to me when I read Kill's writing. Him and Monster share many similarities with their writing habits/consistencies. They are as follows (the examples listed are from 18+ content so please do not view if you are a minor):

Use periods and exclamation marks -- but never commas -- as punctuation to end dialogue tags.

Starter dialogue tag always facing outward. Like: ”So... Tight”

Tend to each use a snapshot style of writing, favouring incomplete sentences with frequent use of periods. Examples: K: "His mind, usually so sharp. Focused and organized like the most expensive machines. A killing machine, that worked in perpetual motion, living off killing, adrenaline used like a drug." M: "Your dear, understanding doctor. Doctor Jonathan Crane, who laughed out loud suddenly a couple moments ago. The dark colour covering his exotic looking eyes as he revealed his real nature to you."

Similarly, they both tend to avoid using possessive pronouns and determiners. Examples: K: "_ Pale, little pussy peaked from between her thighs." M: "The scars covering _ man's pale skin," _ = absence of "her, that, the," etc.

Often use adverbs after verbs in a way that feels out of place.

Capitalise after ellipses, always.

"Y/n" always has a lowercase "n".

Sometimes use three ellipses, often use only two.

Use "pants" but never "trousers".

Yeah, so, I may have spent way too much time on this. And I think most of this is redundant, now, especially after the name revelation, but still, I put work into it and didn't want it to go to complete waste lmao. Aita for speaking about how anti bullying group/server treated me?

This is a two year old situation that I got reminded of today

So background: I (22NB) joined a group via tiktok that was started after an incident involving a plus sized cosplayer and a company (person is not involved in this situation & is still one of my lovely mutuals). However due to the size of the group, a group of child predators joined including someone who was a mutual (I didn't know about their gross, as a csa survivor I blocked and such asap). Stuff got exposed (with some information given by one of my close friends). This caused the server to be remade and I was semi active in it but it was still a large server. I however noticed that my tiktok was blocked by the group's page and decided to message the ppl running it. After a week of nothing I get a message that I have some of the predators following my page therefore am now banned from the server and was basically told to keep me being banned between me and the server leader. I decided not to do so and shared the information, not once insulting them and even saying i understand their intentions but they didn't even share the usernames of the predators following my page. The main person who ran it has since blocked me and the few mutual I had who helped run it unfollowed me (didn't remove me from their following tho but I unfollowed them as well when I realized). I have friends and mutuals who are still a part of this group and I feel like an ah for having such a dislike for the group now. I'm tempted to bring it up again to be like still no apology for being kicked out of a group because of a bullshit zero tolerance policy because I'm petty and still bitter when I remember it

-also after my post someone (outside of the group) was able to figure out which predator was following me via their side page. I blocked them immediately.

-i expressed concern over possibly missing information (such as usernames). I didn't express that this was bc the information was hard for me to consume with triggering myself

-i showed screensshots of the conversations I had with the people running it

-they had also said it was inappropriate for a friend of mine who at the time was barely 18 to be friends with people who were 17 and 16

-the server themselves don't have all the usernames of the side pages of the predators

-there has been at least one person who claimed they were blocked by this group and such bc they were complaining about minors being rude or creepy in their comments but I have no proof and this person has said stuff that I ended up blocking them for

-their zero tolerance policy excuse feels like bullshit because they have my friends and mutuals still in the group (tho I believe its inactive for the most part bc they fall short of plans to do things outside of the server).

-dont hate on my friends and mutuals for still being a part of the group. This has actually benefit me bc of information the group keeps in their server including a person who tends to stalk and harass people online that started to harass me

-i have also have had info about a person being into l0li/sh0ta con but in the same spaces forwarded to the group via a mutual in the group. It's a large group with a lot of people so I understand the want to stay in it.

just some 9-1-1 headcanons/plot bunnies

so i've kinda gone on a 9-1-1 deep dive that started out casual and rapidly turned into an obsession. a few things to note, i definitely think that buck and eddie have something (whether it's romantic or queerplatonic is up for grabs but there's something beyond friendship there and no one can convince me otherwise) and i am a strong subscriber to any tropes that strongly encourage found family/families so...make of that what you will

anyway, after binging all of the available episodes, i have several headcanons that i want to put out there (for some reason a lot of them are from season 5???)

ana realizing that there's more to eddie and buck's relationship than it seems in that scene from s5e2 when she brings christopher to the station. buck clocks that eddie has started panicking immediately and ana just like. *looks* at him for a few seconds in a way that just makes me think that this woman clocked that they have a deeper than normal connection to one another. that or she's heard about buck but obviously has never seen eddie and buck interact and is suddenly realizing exactly what people keep trying to tell her about

a buck/eddie-focused exploration of the aftermath of 'brawl in cell block 9-1-1'. buck freaking out once mitchell's been carted off to get his heart taken out and refusing to let eddie go anywhere while checking him for injuries, eddie having some uncomfortable realizations about just how affected buck was by the whole experience. personally, i feel that would lead to them actually talking about the sniper and all the mess that goes with it

lots of potential for temporary angst with eddie having a lot of big feelings about having failed as a husband in his marriage to shannon and not wanting to get married again b/c of it (thinks he doesn't deserve another shot at it? thinks there's something fundamentally wrong with him to where he can't? don't know how this would manifest exactly). personally, i see this eventually leading to him and buck realizing that they're more or less functionally married and they may as well reap some tax benefits from it but you can do whatever you want with that

buck goes to the funerals of many of the people who die on calls that he's a part of. it's mostly people that he directly worked on and he doesn't tend to tell anyone that he's a first responder that was involved (b/c of how devon's sister reacted in s1) but he does go to them.

kinda of tied to the headcanon above this but! buck getting adopted by a bunch of older queer folk following the deaths of mitchell and thomas in s2. he goes to the joint funeral that was planned for the two of them, in part b/c he wants/needs to and in part bc he accidentally took a few photos from the scrapbook from the scene (he shoved them in his pocket on instinct when thomas collapses). anyway, he shows up and the older queer community has rallied to show up at the funeral and they recognize him as someone who needs more found family and just adopt him into their ranks. i could see the 118 finding out about this soon after it happens or not until years later; maybe karen and hen finding out sooner than everyone else but buck asks them to keep it quiet?

s5e14 where jee-yun gets sick? what if it actually WAS leukemia and she somehow ends up needing some sort of donation (plasma? bone marrow? idk really anything about how cancer is treated). jee's put on a list and they start testing family members, none of whom work out until...buck. cue maddie not wanting to ask that of buck b/c of all the baggage that comes with daniel and the buckley parents are absolute assholes about it (along the lines of completely disregarding buck's autonomy as a human being in the face of their precious granddaughter being in trouble), maybe a chimney that isn't trying to be pushy about it but also just...can't help pushing a bit, a buck that so overwhelmed with everything that he's feeling that he goes off the rails a bit. obviously everything works out and buck donates or whatever needs to happen and jee-yun is completely fine b/c i don't actually want it to end badly

the entire 'buck's a sperm donor' family argument and maraget saying "you're a miracle baby yourself" made my fucking blood boil and i want to see a better exploration of the fallout of that statement b/c you just know that there was more to it than it just getting brushed off

buck telling maddie that he has a checklist that he goes through every time he wakes up post-coma in s6e12. chris and eddie being part of that list, where buck is just constantly checking up on them to make sure that they're still in LA (part of the reason why it's so easy for him to fall asleep/relax on the diaz couch or in their house in general). eddie doesn't notice the uptick in check-ins b/c he's too busy figuring out the least intrusive ways for him to check in on buck at all times b/c he NEEDS to know that buck is alive/breathing. once eddie notices though, he confronts buck about it

maddie asking buck to be her maid of honor for her wedding since hen is obviously going to have best man privileges. mostly just exploring the ridiculous that this brings up and everyone joking about buck in a dress (up to you whether he actually wears one to the wedding or not), but i have to include a side note that the buckley parents are dicks about it and have no sense of humour/fun

literally anything featuring athena being worried about buck as a maternal figure, i was so disappointed by her lack of interaction when buck was struck by lightning and, while i'm so fucking happy to have may acknowledging that buck is bobby's son too, we missed out on athena being devastated by the situation as well

there will probably be more of these to come at some point knowing myself.

- HE. LOVES. CRAFTS. (Supplies) paints, sequins, buttons, beads, twine, thread, glue, glitter, markers, crayons, pencils, you name it he's got a stach of it at his disposal at all times. Ready to make a *very pretty* mess hopefully on a piece of paper.

- he does his best to clean up after but there's usually a residue or a few markers that got left behind.

- he's kinda stubborn in a not bratty way.. ex: if he's hanging out with his favorite Glamrock, he never wants to leave! If he's building a block tower, he'll make the tallest one ever!! If he's got a crayon in his mouth and Moon tells him to spit it out, how can he? It's the best flavor!! That's a waste Moonie.. fiiiinneee :(

- he like to draw his friends and one time someone turned it around and said "imma draw YOU" it turned a playfull fight on who can draw who faster. (Side note, true story. I heard from friend after and I have his drawing if people wanna see it I'll ask him if it's okay I'll edit it in here)

- HES SO SILLY AND PLAYFUL. his favorite games are follow the leader *bonus points if the leader doesn't know they're the leader* he loves hide and seek too but sometimes he forgets to tell anyone that they're supposed to seek and then he gets sad

- he likes looking at balloons but hates when they make that gosh darn *balloon noises* they spook him when they pop too

- his favorite Glamrock is Monty. Full stop. No debate. No one's been able to get him to explain why, not even he knows, sometimes we just have favorites!

- no paci for him, he's a big boy!! Buuuutt... There's no shame in thumbs when he gets reeeeaaaalllllllyyyyyy sleepy and thinks no one's watching.

- speaking of: KEEP AN EYE ON HIM AT ALL TIMES!! Wether it's making a mess or climbing too high up on the jungle gym, if you don't keep an eye on him always he'll get up to something... He usually comes clean before anyone notices tho

- if you need him to sit still, GOOD FREAKING LUCK, but you may have some success with those ASMR slime videos. Don't let him watch too long tho because he may try to use the video as a tutorial.

- he absolutely loves those kids crafts kits you can buy at Walmart or target, never reads the instructions tho. It's usually just a fun time anyways, having a product at the end isn't necessary if he gets to be silly and make a mess.

~If this one feels more thorough than the lil Moon head cannons that's because it's a lot more accurate this time.. our alter Sun does regress sometimes and he's read though this for me to confirm he's okay with sharing and that's it's accurate! hi mr bildad um im just gonna dump this here since i have no one else to talk to

as someone who has always praised in their ability to be friends with anyone (i also need human interaction to survive btw) ive been feeling very lonely, especially since now are the school holidays.

my best friend (who is one year older than me) is barely online and doesn't take me seriously enough. and when i ask my friend group (with 2 other people my age) if they want to go out nothing happens. ive asked so many times but it's like they just don't want to hang out. and i keep seeing them post everywhere of them having fun with their OTHER friends (i don't know them bc they're from their primary schools; we are in secondary school now). and the obvious solution is to hang out with my primary school friends, right? well awesome news I DONT HAVE ANY.

and like ive just been feeling really really lonely especially today. i don't even text anyone except for my best friend, and even then she doesnt really respond properly because its like i dump a lot of messages and 4 hours later she skims through them, rinse and repeat.

(also side note i used to have another best friend but he ended up having a crush on me and didn't give me space so i kinda ended the friendship bc i wasn't comfortable with it)

during my entire TWO MONTH school holiday i haven't gone out with friends. not even once. while i see everyone else my age having so much fun and enjoying life while i just rot at home scrolling through tumblr.

so yeah im not really having a great time. hopefully when i get back to school in january things will be better

Hey, kid (human). No need to apologize for the long rant. Actually, I've got a lot to say about this topic, too, so take a toilet break, grab a beverage and a snack, then sit down with your deal old Bildaddy (platonic, metaphorical) for a chat.

First off, sorry you're going through this. It hurts a lot when friends start fading away, and you realize they no longer consider you as close and you consider them. Feeling left out and like you don't have any real friends seriously sucks.

But it's actually something every single person goes through at some time or another--though most of us aren't brave enough to admit it like you have, because it feels embarrassing and shameful. Like there's something wrong with you.

There isn't.

There is nothing wrong with you.

Friends come and go, and 99% of the time it has nothing to do with you, or anything you've said or done. It isn't your fault. That doesn't mean it hurts any less, but it isn't your fault.

But that being said, I promise you, for every person you see pictures of having so much fun and enjoying life, there are twenty--probably even more--at home like you, scrolling tumblr, or tiktok, or reddit, or whatever the kids are scrolling these days.

And even those people you see posting pictures, that isn't their everyday life. They post pics of the good times, not the bad ones (well not usually) or the boring ones. Especially not the boring ones. I bet they do more sitting at home and scrolling than you think. They're just not advertising that for all their followers to see.

But that's not the point. The point is (dolphins! goats!) your current friends aren't fulfilling your need for socialization. And that means you need to find some new friends, anon.

You can still stay friends with your best friend and that old friend group. As in, don't send them a message officially ending the friendship, and don't delete and/or block them everywhere. You can still talk to them in school when you see them.

(Do unfollow them on social media if seeing them hang without you is upsetting--or better yet, pause on using social media entirely--except for tumblr, of course--until you're in a better place, mentally and emotionally. Bildaddy deleted instagram five years ago and never went back.)

But starting today, back off on asking these friends to hang out, and sending long text messages to your best friend that she only skims through. They're not matching your energy, so you need to start matching theirs. Either they'll notice the difference and start making more of an effort (no, not that kind), or they won't and they won't. But either way, you'll stop wasting your time.

Next, you take all the energy you were spending on your old friend group and start looking for new friends.

While you're still on winter break, there might not be as many opportunities, but there are some possibilities. Do you have any cousins around your age who might wanna hang out? Or maybe there are local events aimed at teenagers you can attend? Check libraries and community centers. Or on New Year's Eve, there might be some sort of Parents Night Out event you can volunteer for and help babysit a group of little kids, along with other teenagers that you could befriend?

Then, when winter break ends, look around your school for other students who might be in your same situation--and trust me there are others in your same situation. Is there someone who always sits alone at lunch? Or what about that kid in class who's too shy to speak up? Is there someone getting bullied or ostracized? Someone new to the school who hasn't made any friends yet? Look for the ones who might need a friend as much--or even more--than you do and try to befriend them.

It won't always work, no, cause nothing always works. But it will work sometimes. And you only need it to work enough times to make a couple friends. And if you make the right friend, they might have a friend group that you can join.

I know it's really scary to put yourself out there and make the first move. But you'd be surprised how receptive people are, especially the shy ones who are too scared to say 'hi' first, and rely on the braver ones, like you, for the human connection they need. Because we all need it. (Even me. Because I'm totally 100% human.)

Other ways to make friends are clubs, in school and out of school, which is probably what adults will suggest if you ask them, so I'm not going to spend much time on this. But they're right. If you're not already in clubs--academic, sports, art, books, music, anime, whatever your interest(s) is--join some! If there's nothing of interesting at your schools, churches and other local organizations might also have youth clubs and activities, too.

Shared interests in a sure way to make friends. I see it happening all the time on Tumblr. Those mutuals you wish didn't live so far away? Well, you can find mutuals just like them IRL! (Especially if you start or join a book club that reads Good Omens, or a tv show club that watches Good Omens)

Another option is getting a part-time job at a place other teenagers work. If this is something you can do without disrupting your schoolwork, try it. Fast food restaurants, cinemas, places like that.

You say you're someone who has the ability to be friends with anyone? Well, prove it! This isn't a threat, by the way. This is encouragement. I'm encouraging you.

Now go out there and make some friends, kid! I know you can do it! I believe in you, and everybody here is rooting for you.

some blogs on here are adamant that things aren’t gonna go well and people are gonna be upset and season 7 is gonna ruin everything etc etc. but they have no proof, it’s all just their own cynicism. and it’s such a downer, it really takes the excitement out of waiting for the show to come back. i can’t even follow 911 tags without seeing their shit come up. why can’t people just wait and see what happens without dragging everyone else down with them, with what is currently just their own negative speculation. drives me mad juju

Hi nonnie! Trust me I understand the pressure of all negative comments and opinions. That’s a reason as to why I’m not really engaging much within the fandom at this moment. There’s always gonna be people who have differing opinions and they may not always be positive ones, which is fine bc everyone is entitled to their own opinions. We have to do what’s best for us. If you see some takes that affect your experience for the show, then maybe stay away from them? Distance yourself by unfollowing and even blocking if you need to. I tend to do that myself just because I did see a lot last season that was affecting my experience. This happens every season and I guess I’ve learned how to stay away from certain takes I see and to distance myself from fandom when things get too intense. Sorry you’re feeling that way I hope you still tune in and this season really does end up surprising us all in a good way!

tldr: a pann article(?) was starting shit abt an anime soobin mentioned on a live from MONTHS AGO. the anime (made in abyss) has some disturbing/horror/gore themes. he said he thought it was boring and was hesitant to recomend it to moas in the live. but in another live he had with seungkwan, he said he watched it because woozi mentioned it and then said he recommended it to sk. moas started making it a real issue, saying "if u defend him for this block me" & implying he endorsed the themes in the anime. sigh..

in this live he says that its not something he wants to recommend to moas because of the themes in it. after the clip started making rounds on twt however, people brought up the fact that he'd mentioned it before and said he enjoyed it.

now lets not jump to conclusions like SOME lewsers and realize here that the anime version of made in abyss that's available in korea is highly censored. it reduced the s3xual/problematic scenes that were in the manga, and had a lot of stuff cut out of it that made it bad.

“where do we need to go next?” you asked Enid, who was sitting in the passenger seat of the car. she unfolded the map, tracing her eyes over the marked locations. “the… grocery store that’s like three miles down. just keep going straight.” she instructed, looking up from the map.

after she folded the map back up, your hands instinctively intertwined over the center console. “Rick said to try and find anything. he didn’t ask for anything in particular, we just need food.” Enid told you. you nodded, not taking your eyes off the road.

“we could try and find some canned goods i guess. we have the most luck with those.” you told her. “but it’s getting harder to find stuff.”

Enid shrugged, “as we find more people and expand Hilltop and Alexandria, the faster we run out and the more we completely empty out these stores. that why we need to try to find seeds as well. we can grow food more than find it.”

“yeah,” you agreed. “so, seeds and canned foods are the main goal.” Enid nodded. “exactly.”

after a few minutes, you finally found the grocery store Enid told you about. you pulled into the empty lot, not caring where or how you parked the car. luckily, there were no walkers surrounding the lot.

you both got out of the car, pulling out your knives from their holsters that wrapped around your legs.

Enid opened the door, cautiously looking around before allowing you to follow her. you smiled slightly at the small action she never stopped doing for you.

you went your separate ways in the store, digging out whatever you thought would be slightly useful. after you were done, you went to find Enid. you ended up finding her in the snack aisle.

“i thought we could have some stuff to ourselves. we can hide it in our bedroom.” she said. you giggled, taking a few of the bags out of her hands to put them in your backpack.

you helped her stand back up from the ground. as you were headed towards the exit, a loud crash came from the back room. you both whipped your heads towards the sound, debating whether or not you should go check out what it was.

“i think we should g-“ Enid started before loud barking followed by a whimper echoed through out. “it’s a fucking dog.” you told her.

“come on!” she said, running towards the back room door. you pulled out your gun as she rushed to open the door. when you entered the room, two walkers stood above the dog. you didn’t waste a second shooting both of them.

you both ran to the dog, and Enid bent down, immediately checking for injuries on them. she touched their right back leg, and the dog whimpered again. “their leg is broken, but they’re not bit.” she told you. you got down on the floor with her, examining the dog.

you let out a sigh of relief. “good, good. what should we do with them?” you asked. Enid pouted slightly, “i don’t wanna leave them here. they’re hurt and can’t walk, a walker will get them sooner or later,”

“okay,” you breathed out. “so… you want to take it home?” Enid nodded. “i’d really like to.”

you looked down at the dog again, “they’re a german shepherd. strong dog.” you said to her.

“okay. help me lift them up.” you both put your hands under them as gently as you could, lifting them up into Enid’s arms. “got them?” Enid nodded again.

you stayed in front of Enid and the dog as you made it back to the car. she carefully placed the dog in the backseat and got back in the passenger seat.

after you got in, you pulled out of the lot, going back in the direction towards Hilltop. “you should uh, tell Rick.” you told Enid. “i don’t think we can just show up with a dog.” you chuckled.

Enid laughed and pulled out a walkie from her bag and switched it on. she turned it to the right channel and called out Rick’s name, waiting for an answer.

“so uh… we ran into a slight problem while at the last stop.” Enid started, looking back at the dog. “what? what happened? are you guys okay?” Rick asked multiple questions, not letting Enid actually tell him.

“no- no we’re fine, Rick. we sort of… found a dog. they have a broken foot and i want to take it back to Hilltop and help them.”

Rick was silent for a moment, making you and Enid look at each other with worried expressions.

“a dog?” he asked. “…yeah.” Enid responded. “it’s a german shepherd.” you said aloud. “i didn’t want to leave it out there alone like that. they would’ve gotten eaten alive.” Enid told him.

“okay, it’s fine. just.. be careful when you come back. you don’t know how it can act after you patch it up.”

“we will. we’ll be back in like… ten minutes.”

Enid kept an eye on the dog as you drove back, trying to drive slowly over bumps to not hurt the dog. you finally started to see the tall gate that guarded Hilltop, and the two men at the watch tower signaled the other two to open the gate. you pulled in next to it and Enid hopped out first, immediately going to the backseat to get the dog out.

you started to walk fast towards the doctors building and you opened the door for Enid, letting her in first. Enid placed the dog on the table and started to fig through drawers as you gently pet the dog, hoping it would comfort them.

Enid came back with a roll of bandages in her hands. she tore off a few inches of it and started to wrap it around the dogs foot. they flinched a bit, but you continued to softly pet their fur.

“i think they need to eat.” you said to Enid. “they don’t look healthy. at all. you can see their bones.”

“we have chicken.” she said quickly. “i’ll be back.” Enid ran out of the room, leaving you and the dog alone.

you sat down next for them, leaning your head down so you reached their eye level. “you’re really pretty.” you mumbled to them. they leaned their head closer to you, giving your hand one small lick.

you smiled, “and you’re nice. that’s good to know.” Enid came back, furrowing her eyebrows at you. “are you talking to the dog?”

“they licked my hand when i called them pretty. they like me.” you defended with a laugh. Enid shook her head playfully, giving the dog small pieces of chicken.

“we can find actual dog food for them soon. maybe someone else can find some while we take care of them.” Enid suggested. “yeah. i like that.”

Enid walked over to you, sitting down in the chair next to you. she laid her head on your shoulder. “you know,” she started. “it might sound crazy, but i kinda wanna keep them.”

you nodded, “i do too. i think we should.”

now its pretty common for rp blogs these days to have rules. right? you dont want to just bag any weirdo on this website, and as you can imagine bnha roleplayers are batshit crazy (see: conversion therapy todoroki) so mine are pretty strict and detailed. because ive been doing it long enough to be exposed to what counts as carbon monoxide poison from a screen. one of those rules is "if youre mutuals with people who write porn of the kids even aged up im blocking you we're keeping a ten foot pole on this". because as a 20 year old man i have a healthy disinterest in seeing paragraphs of teenagers fucking

so the dash is astir with talk of a guy writing age up bakugou porn and im like ok whatever. make a post bitching about it . mutual likes those posts but then the mutual is turning around and being buddy buddy with this guy so i dm the mutual like hey whats going on here . mutual is like "well why dont you talk it out with him hes not as mean as he seems i prommy" and im like sure whatever i can have civil conversation and if it ends with One Less Person writing weirdo porn then i might be able to get into heaven

I've had to block a few people recently so here's some reminders:

If you think a pair should be disqualified, use private channels (DM me or send an ask). If you claim a pair is not platonic publicly/where the submitter might see, I will block you instantly.

Pairs who eventually end up in relationships, have crushes, etc. are allowed (with disclaimers) as long as their friendship is emphasized throughout the story (aka the story's focus on them is buddyhood & not as like, a lead-up to a romance or one character's crush, etc), they qualify.

Additionally (and I realize I wasn't clear on this before so I want to be clear now), characters with """homoerotic subtext""" but who are not actually canonically romantic are fine to be included. Homoerotic subtext is often subjective/up for interpretation, not to mention wildly misused by people with shipping goggles on too tight. As long as the characters are not textually romantic with each other (or only at the end/a small part of the story & their friendship is emphasized, see above), they qualify.

And, though this one hasn't been a problem at all, I'll include it as it is part of the above ruleset: pairs who engage in sexual activity with each other without romantic involvement, AKA "friends with benefits," qualify.

The main reasons for these rulings are as follows:

A lot of media is content to let pairs (esp m/f pairs) be friends until the end of the show/series/etc, wherein the creators hastily "pair up" everyone with romances for a contrived happy ending. I want PPP to be a safe haven for fans who were affected by this kind of poor writing choice, and for the sake of fairness, this rule must apply to good writing as well.

Also, eventually dating - even when written well - does not invalidate a lengthy platonic relationships beforehand anyway.

I think I'm far from the only aromantic person (or even just...reasonable person) who's sick of people saying you can't interpret a pair as being platonic bc they do things that ~totally in wuuuuuv X3~ people do like...holding hands, or general loyalty, or...smiling at them... I even see people doing this for characters who are canonically happily married to someone else???? It's dumb as hell. I'm not going to let that happen on this blog. People are just going to have to accept that sometimes 2 people have a healthy, close, loyal, deeply loving platonic partnership.

I reiterate, in TL;DR: Pairs who eventually end up romantic are allowed as long as the story emphasizes their friendship (rather than their building romance). """Homoerotic subtext""" is extremely subjective, and often used as an excuse by people with shipping goggles to force their amatonormative interpretation on everyone.

#1 ! It already fits their dynamic a little too on the nose, and at this exact point in Stranger Things as well. Like the whole you're amazing line reminds me of the painting scene. Also the blocking feels very much like the cabin scene at the end of s4. They could very swiftly put Will and Mike in a situation just like this one. sooner than later, with Mike making the first move and Will being confused about it, not even making the move to meet him halfway at first. Though, I don't see it going much further than that bc tbh I actually picture this more eloquently as an almost kiss?

Whereas #3 is giving more so second kiss? Like after a stressful confrontation or something? We know this literal scene from Eyewitness, with them in the garage in front of the car, could very well have been used as inspiration for the s3 byler rain fight, so that could fit the idea of them kissing after their highly anticipated potential 3rd fight in s5?

I do think their first kiss is something that we've all assumed has to happen at the very, very end of the season. However, I've come to realize that's sort of a cliche? Not saying they can't kiss at that point (again) or that they can't find some way to stretch it out at all, but I do think waiting until that very last moment at the end for their first kiss would be a little too expected.

Like for example, I could see a first kiss actually being an almost kiss? Similar to #1, but with them getting interrupted or something of that nature. It's interesting that in s4 Mike made a point to close the door behind him when entering Will's room, and we saw how the rest of s4 went with them being focused on very intimately, both alone and with other people, often interrupted. And so I think it's likely Mike is going to either make a real effort to be alone with Will or they're going to be in a situation where it wasn't their choice (ie. all the byler alone together in UD foreshadowing).

But, let's just say in early s5, it gets to a point where Mike is just really really needing a moment alone with Will, bc they haven't been able to actually talk about things properly. And there's this building up of tension between them, where Mike is starting to think Will returns his feelings, and it leads to this moment somehow, but someone knocks on the door and Mike's just like JESUS!!!!!

Them building it up in a unique way, where they're maybe almost kissing once or twice. And then it happens!?!? And then they're all in danger again so the stakes are high and so maybe they're having doubts again, that the other doesn't feel the same? And THEN they fight and things get emotional and real and then they kiss for a second time. It would feel like 2 first kisses essentially.

The reason I think this would really work, is because on Will's end especially (and in some homophobic viewers' minds), Will's going to be telling himself that he's the one that is wrong and if Mike has feelings for him, it's bc he doesn't actually have feelings for him, he's just been corrupted by Will or something. Like I think he would probably notice Mike's nerves in the moments after they kissed, as Mike being uncomfortable/having doubts, and that would cause Will to distance himself and then Mike would do the same as a result of having those same doubts too, as a result of them both misunderstanding each others fear for rejection.

And THEN, after Mike finally confronts Will, his first time being the one who is fighting for their relationship with Will sort of giving up atp (for good reason) we get second kiss, directly following their final boss fight (Reminder: Will successfully packed a blue shirt in his backpack that he brought with to Hawkins...).

I just think that could allow the second kiss to be more tender and give a lot of appreciation and layers to those past fights, now knowing that this is kind of what they've both wanted for a long time? And I think that #3 kiss is what makes it fit perfectly, as it would terrifyingly tie back to the s3 rain fight it inspired

And when it comes to the like official first kiss, I do think it could be them both feeling it in the moment and both clearly being into it, but bc of the high stakes scenarios surrounding them, you just know they would be hit with some crazy ass shit right after and have to deal with that, which would lead to the confusion between them despite them both clearly feeling the same.

This is not me saying this will 100% happen, obviously. This is an ask and I'm just giving detailed answers! Also just in case something along these lines does happen, I want to have it written down somewhere!

I do think them going with like an almost kiss approach followed by a heated first kiss and then a slow second kiss, and then a third endgame kiss would be cool. They wouldn't even need to kiss in the epilogue for me atp.

And that's how I can appease both the action packed byler first kiss truthers and the soft quiet/intimate byler first kiss truthers...

4. what was the last straw that made you finally block that annoying person?

Hoo boy - this could be a loaded question, lmao. It depends on which annoying person, too. I can - and do - overlook a lot, so I think the majority of the time, I block when there's something I just can't overlook anymore. It doesn't necessarily have to do with fandom all the time, either. But, that being said, in regards to fandom, I ended up unfollowing/blocking a lot of mutuals bc of the series wank. It wasn't so much my not liking or not agreeing with their takes - rather, I took issue with the rhetoric (or lack thereof) with which they presented their takes, along with the uncalled-for hostility and utter lack of any kind of nuance or flexibility to even allow for having fun with the character anymore.

Here's a solid example I forgot about until just now: there was something wank-adjacent going around about Loki's eye color. In canon, they're blue. In my headcanon, they're green. There was some post made by a mutual re: this, and I commented something about prying Loki's green eyes from my cold, dead hands or something like that. I'm pretty sure in the same sentence I acknowledged that this was a headcanon and I wasn't trying to force it on anyone else; I basically just did what I often (used to) do - had a train of thought that amused me and hopped onto a post to share it. And people just took it so seriously? Like, reblogging with these pretentious replies about how "the green eyes fandom" is so wrong, and canon matters so much, and - ugh. I don't remember specifics beyond that, but I do remember just being fed up and 500% done, and I'm pretty sure that's when I unfollowed/blocked that mutual. And it was like a domino effect, bc I'd been mutuals with that person for years, but once I stopped prioritizing the years-long-mutual thing over my waning tolerance for the toxicity thing, a sort of mass unfollowing/blocking followed. So - yeah.

12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them.

I don't know that there's any unpopular character that I like/more people should like? I guess, again, it depends on which portion of the fandom you ask - I really like Mobius, for example, and one side of the fandom would say he's not unpopular at all, and the other side would say I might as well be worshipping the devil himself bc liking Mobius amounts to the same thing, so ... *helpless shrug*

Outside of the Loki fandom, though - is Carol Danvers still unpopular? Bc I like her a lot, actually. I don't think her character was given a fair chance by the majority of MCU fans - but, ymmv and I guess, again, it depends on who you ask.

She has a lot of Willow's confidence and outgoingness, as well as Hunter's intense loyalty for those she cares about. They're also pretty chaotic and impulsive, no doubt getting that from her Tía Luz and Uncle Gus

While Hazel likes dabbling in lots of different types of magic, trying to combine stuff and usually getting in trouble for it (usually some sort of destruction bc they don't know what they're doing lol), her favorite types of magic are beast-keeping and potions. When she's in the human realm, she definitely loves learning about animals from Abuela Camilla.

Hazel is also an ESFP and an Aries (in human terms, the Boiling Isles doesn't have a zodiac system). I'm not quite sure what they'd want to do as an adult but I'm thinking either some sort of party planning coordinator or maybe a full blown veterinary career. I could see her trying to pull both jobs in the human realm with Abuela Camilla and in the demon realm with Viney (I remember she said she wanted to open a vet clinic in the future during the Hunting Palismen episode).

Also their palisment, Scout, is meant to be a wolf, idk how clearly that comes across lol. I kinda found a wolf color palette online and kinda blocked in some stuff that felt right. Felt inspired by red wolves and Mexican wolves. I'd like to think the og gang managed to repopulate the palisman wood trees to become populous again, and either Grandma Eda or Tía Luz helped Hazel carve their own palisman. Hazel ended up developing a love of wolves from Hunter, also just loving their loyalty and family connections and what they symbolize, so that's how she ended up with Scout!

Also gonna emphasize them dying parts of her hair red in honor of Flapjack lol. She was probably gonna dye her hair at some point bc Willow does it and it looks cool, they just ended up going with red specifically after learning about Flapjack.

...Also Hunter definitely cried when Hazel said why she did it, change my mind.

Sorry, this was a lot of talking lol 😅 Kinda just wanted to word vomit all of my thoughts out since I don't have many friends that are into toh. I hope you like Hazel! I definitely want to draw them in a grom outfit at some point, just not sure what sort of outfit I'd put them in.

I've been in many fandoms on tumblr in the last decade or so in the RP comm, and surprise I do in fact recognize distinct rp styles; if you're known for being a predator or anything in another fandom, there's a high chance I know and I've been there to watch it happen. This isn’t a weird question at all! It's actually an honor that you consider me qualified to answer this question, bc a year ago I Definitely wouldn’t have considered myself someone who’s sociable! (still not, tbh, social media is terrifying in a different way than reality is, lol)

I’m coming at this as someone who gained a following through….recognition, i guess? I hopped on really late into the game, so by the time i was on social media, the community kinda already knew who i was. And I’m glad for that opportunity! It’s a unique situation, sure, but i understand the feeling of being bogged down by ‘oh god am i doing this right’ ajskajsk

So yea, being sociable online is HARD, but I’ll ATTEMPT to narrow down how I approach it:

Be respectful! The golden rule!! You don’t know what the other is going through, what they’re going to say, the duration of the conversation, who they even really are, etc. but that doesn’t mean you can’t be considerate. Do no harm, take no shit

Be open-minded – you’re gonna meet folks from all different walks of life, and there’s absolutely no shame in stepping back and just listening! You learn a lot this way and it keeps conversations innovative and new ! share your perspective and realize your story/worldview/opinions are not End All, Be All. it’s way more rewarding than it might sound, or maybe i’m selling it well, who knows!

Be sincere! Reach out to those in a genuine effort to be friendly, and try to remember some tidbits about the people you’re with! Personalized messages are a great way to let folks know you care about them, just think about how YOU’D wanna receive a message from somebody — we’re all just people behind a screen, shrug

And also, maybe I’m just old and grew up on scary Stranger Danger PSAs, but I think another thing that’s lost is: Know When To Step Away!!! It’s SO easy to get sucked into the wormhole of social media. One thing to remember is: if you’re online, you have an online persona, and if you have followers or FANS of that online persona, you can form parasocial relationships. IE: I have a responsibility to ensure I’m not subjecting anyone to anything they didn’t sign up for; as someone who tends to discuss darker, more mature topics I try and keep a fair distance away from my younger viewers and let them know WHY. I talk with/follow some teens, sure, but they’re not my immediate friend group, i’m probably not in their notifs very often; that’s just how I’M comfortable online

Establish boundaries!!! Be upfront! YOU curate your own space online – and in turn, Please remember you’re not responsible for the image people make of you in their head, don’t let blocking/unfollowing or anything like that destroy you, sometimes you just won’t Vibe with someone; you don’t Vibe with everyone either, yknow? you can only ever be yourself, and that’s a blessing or a curse, whatever way you wanna consider it

Again, these are just tools that help me, and I’m still learning! Just test out the waters; it’s that first step in making an account and getting to talking that’s the scariest, but once you find your Group a lot of things are gonna come naturally, i PROMISE you. And you’re already Taking a big step in reaching out to ask this! I’d get so nervous submitting questions on anon back in the day….honestly, we’re ALL just freaking out on the other side of the screen, if that’s any consolation, haha
