Hello, my apologies but have you seen the new helluva boss short for Millie and her trans sister, Sallie May?

It's alright, I guess.

I thought it was very cute!!!

Millie imo really lacked narrative focus in the series so far so it was really nice to see a bit more of her <3

I really loved that she actually has a genuinely good relationship with her family in general, but also that things aren't perfect and that there's definitely some hard feelings about the physical distance her moving out has caused and how that's affected Sallie especially in turn

Their conversation was brief but heartfelt and I'm overall glad this little short was made and released, it filled some gaps I didn't even know where there :D

I also thought it was a nice touch that Moxxie just passed through the room smiling at the end without getting involved, especially since Unhappy Campers left a bad taste in my mouth about Moxxie wrenching the plot to be about himself and his insecure jealousy... so him just fondly letting Millie have her moment was sweet :3

Hello, my apologies for asking this question.

So the main cast of Hazbin Hotel are generally not seen wearing armor and probably don't need to wear that kind of protection to their bodies unless it serves as part of the story.

But if you were to give these characters some form of armor or magical protection, especially to your oc, Dawn Morningstar.

I like her design by the way.

How will you design it and utilized it?

I don't know anything about armor (the topic generally doesn't interest me, both in theory and in terms of visuals) and since the setting doesn't remotely require armor I don't really see much of a point in actually exploring this hypothetical concept ...

I'm sorry if that's disappointing, but my heart just wouldn't be in it at all.

There's some more nuggets I dropped here and there as well but these were largely what was most worth mentioning.

Here's a brief summary of the remaining info nuggets I didn't bother linking so you don't have to open a million other posts:

Because Alastor sacrificed one of his shadow minions to create Dawn, it reforms as her own, sentient shadow. Normally this kind of bond has to be contracted via a deal, so this is rather extraordinary.

Charlie and Alastor aren't actually together yet when Dawn gets created, since she was kind of an accident. I don't know yet when they'll get together in the grand scheme of things, but I know they're going to be slowburn idiots about it.

Dawn's main weapon would probably be staff-based, since her mother's trident and her father's mic staff have that quality in common.

Dawn's magic is mostly fire-based and she can to a degree manipulate sound as well (i.e. mimicry, completely removing noise, boosting sound in volume selectively, manipulating pitch etc) but unlike her father, she cannot manipulate radiowaves.

She loves any and all animals with sharp teeth, most of all sharks - she's raised to despise Vox however and will try to harm him on sight

She had pica disorder as a child

Here to drop propaganda. If you want another ship just to mix it up occasionally, have you considered staticdoll? It's the ship with Velvette and Vox. They seem to tolerate each other way more, are two sides of a similar coin, and Velvette going "kisses darling" in the phone at him was cute. Super underrated ship. (Also not trying to pressure you or anything, just seeing if you're interested)

altho I ship them more in an open relationship kinda way?

like. Velvette and Vox are romantically dating with the full package deal of casual cuddling, kisses and going on dates etc, but Vox is also having a on-again-off-again fuckbuddy thing with Valentino, but Valentino and Velvette aren't romantically or sexually involved with each other.

I generally actually HC Velvette to be asexual, so her being perfectly fine with Vox getting that out of a relationship with someone else while still also being with her makes a lot of sense imo. It's a setup that works well for them, despite being so loosely defined.

If Dawn were to defend herself against potential enemies, what kind of weapon will she be using?

If it's a sword, I believe a sabre or a broad bladed rapier (military type rapier) will be decent choices.

Oh man I've admittedly never thought about it!

Though I think, between Charlie's trident and Alastor's mic staff, I'd lean more towards a staff weapon of some kind for consistency's sake :o

I have no specific ideas in mind whatsoever tho but it's definitely an interesting concept I might actually explore further, so thanks for drawing my attention to that! :o

What’s Alastor’s relationship like with sniffly in your AU. Does he see Niffty as another daughter or friend?

I'd say she's a bit difficult to label?

She's neither a contractor who works for him due to a deal, nor is she someone that really requires his protection, being ruthless and speedy if the situation calls for it.

Niffty is also there because she wants to be, not because she has to. Alastor is the ultimate bad boy in her eyes so she's eager to help him see to his goals, and he sees in her a genuine kinship. It's a win-win for both - he gets to delight in her presence, whose brand of chaos vibes with his own really well and she gets to be unjudgedly herself, doing what she does best wherever deployed.

I think if I had to put some kind of familial label on what they are to each other, I'd compare Niffty more to taking the role of a younger sister to him than anything, though I feel like even that isn't entirely accurate since I'm pretty sure that Alastor is also in many ways her best friend.

Bc I'm ngl none of the characters make me feel any particularly sexual way? But I think if I had to pick one that I appreciate aesthetically the most it'd be Charlie

I'd even argue it's very specifically the way I draw her, with a bit more weight and shape to her? I can't deny that my way of drawing her is very tainted with my personal tastes and preferences haha

and I think to a degree Alastor too, but I'm ngl, If you presented me with either character in the form of only canon screenshots I'd say I really find none of the hazbin cast hot or sexy :'D

If Vaggie does not fall in love with Charlie in your AU, who does she fall in love?

Will you give her an original character to fall in love with?

I'm still not 100% sure on the details but I am very much leaning towards the idea that they used to be together but broke up, so I'm working off of that going forward.

Vaggie I don't think ever stops loving Charlie, it just wasn't working out between the two of them and especially not with the broken trust between them.

When Dawn happens, Vaggie struggles a lot with coming to terms about it, even though the child technically wasn't one spawned from a romantic relationship. She's hurt, defensive and distant and can't make up her mind on whether or not she wants this kid as far away from her as possible or if she wants to do everything in her power to prevent Alastor from corrupting her for evil, knowing this kid also likely has a lot of Charlie's power in her. She doesn't quite know what to do with herself or what she wants her role to be in this kid's life, so that takes her a while to figure out.

Ultimately, Vaggie has to focus on learning to separate her identitiy as an individual from the cause(s) she's trying to fight for first before she can even think about getting over Charlie, let alone have her heart open for someone new - as a result I haven't really considered anyone as her romantic endgame.

I don't even think she needs to be paired up with anyone? But I think if I had to I'd probably pick Cherri bc I feel like she's a very grounded and fun-loving character that contrasts Vaggie's awkardly stiff and militaristic attitude rather nicely. Cherri is also feisty, a good fighter and brutally honest, which I think Vaggie would benefit a lot from with her tendency to easily slip into an overprotective role over the people she cares about.

Cherri simply cannot be handled with kid gloves and would drag her along for a wild ride to fun-town and teach Vaggie a lot about actually living life for fun and for herself rather than stiflingly dedicated to others. In turn, I think Vaggie's realist attitude and strong sense for responsibility and justice would help a lot in redirecting Cherri's wild, arnarchistic energy into a more productive and less self-destructive direction.

Sorry to the people who ship Cherri with Sir Pen, they're cute, but he's not really playing much of a role beyond being mentioned in passing in this AU anyways ^^"

Do Angel Dust and Husker have a child of their own, in your AU?

Nope

I do ship them and I'm sure they'll get background development where I can sneak it in, but it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever for them to have a kid :'D

First and foremost... how? Sinners are sterile and incapable of procreating- maybe I haven't explained it the best in the past, but Dawn's creation was kind of a miracle case? The ritual that created her requires angelic blood and two souls that are powerful enough to not get outright destroyed in the process, since a portion of it gets split off to form the combined soul of the new being that the spell aims to create.

So, even taking into consideration Husk's past as an overlord himself, Angel would not survive the ritual if we tried to argue this as an option.

I also just don't think they'd even want any kids? I think that'd be the last thing on their minds - they're in hell at the end of the day and already fairly busy dealing with their own issues as well as helping out with Dawn.

I just don't see a point in pursuing that sort of plot for them :'D
